I am ronery and want a partner to play this game with me.
So I wants to train an AI that looks at the screen and makes appropriate keyboard and/or controller presses to learn and play the game, and uses ChatGPT so that I can flirt or talk with said person in chat.
I remember seeing some videos about teaching AI to identify objects on a screen, so maybe it can learn visual mechanics that way.
How do I go about this?
Or rather, I want to be the mathematician and go “aha, a solution already exists!” i.e. has someone already made something like this?

Crew bossing takes a lot of skills. You have to know how to drive off road, quad, read maps, manage land, work with helicopters, use avenza, estimate the size of areas accurately, communicate effectively, lead people, and many other things.
Sure planting is a hard job, but a fucking monkey could do it if you had enough bananas 🍌 🐒. You can basically pick up planting in a season and become proficient at it in a few years. To get good at crew bossing could take up to a decade. Planting basically involves one skill that you practice and get good at whereas crew bossing involves a whole suite of unrelated skills. Good crew bosses can make a contract. They can get you to the block on time and keep you moving day after day. They are invaluable to a company and really form the backbone of a camp. Without good crewbosses, things will literally blow apart at the seams.
Good crew bosses are skilled and efficient workers who put in long hours. They deserve to be compensated handsomely at at least the rates of the best planters.
If you think its so easy and youre a planter, you should try it 😉

TLDR: don’t get if you are used to MacOS and MacBooks, especially if you depend on it for on-the-go work needs. Great for gaming, not so much when it comes to professional creative work.
Hello all! I recently picked up a 4070 Zephyrus G16 with 16 GB of RAM to take with me on my work trips! I was also interested in seeing how it would potentially perform as my main work machine. Comparing it to my 14” MacBook Pro M1 Pro with 16 GB of RAM.
Since ASUS has been marketing the G16 towards creatives a bit more this year, I thought my thoughts on it would be helpful! To give some context, I am a photographer who does sports photography for a living, in case anyone else like me is interested in picking it up, I hope this helps!
First off, I want to commend ASUS for releasing a a great looking machine. This thing definitely gives my MacBook a run for its money in terms of build quality and how well it looks. I love the OLED display and how color accurate it is, even right out of the box. I’ve started watching more content on it due to the Dolby Vision and OLED display combo. I also love the keyboard and the size of the keys. The keys have some travel but no click to them. The speakers are definitely better than my MacBook, but I haven’t compared it to a 16” MacBook.
Gaming on it is a great experience. I use G Helper and installed all the latest updates and I absolutely love it. I’ve been gaming on it a lot more than my current PC build just because of the great display it has. Most of the games I play average about 60fps on Cyberpunk with quality DLSS, 90fps on Baldur’s Gate, 80fps on RDR2 and 110fps on Helldivers 2 with most graphics maxed out at its native display, which are more than enough for me personally.
However, when it comes to actual using it for my work, it comes short of expectations when coming over from MacOS.
The biggest problem I’ve encountered is just getting the programs I use for work to run as seamlessly as they do on my MacBook. I use PhotoMechanic and Lightroom Classic and occasionally use Photoshop. All of that usually takes about an hour to an hour and a half to complete on my MacBook.
When it came to trying that workflow on the G16, I just kept coming up with issues. PhotoMechanic was slow on loading photos when it came to scrolling through and trying to tag photos. It took three or four tries to get Lightroom to properly import photos from PhotoMechanic, and even took a couple tries to get all of the photos to import. And Lightroom seemed to perform so poorly compared to my MacBook. It took forever for an adjustment to reflect in the photo. It took maybe two or three seconds for the actual photo to appear when switching, which add up when there’s 150-200 photos that need to be edited. By the time I finally got to being able to caption and add tags, it had already been around two hours. And this was all while it was plugged into the charger. I can’t imagine what it would’ve been like on battery.
I think while the display is great, and definitely was color accurate. It couldn’t be used for prolonged periods like with my MacBook. My MacBook Pro has been a tank over the past two and half years. I take it with me outside in hot weather, no chargers nearby while on buses or on planes and often leave it in media rooms with the screen on due to time constraints. I often do all these without a second thought on making sure I left in hibernation or making sure that the screen will turn off after a certain amount of time, something that I doubt I could do with the G16.
Overall, I still love the machine for gaming and entertainment. I think however, without serious tweaking and compromising, the G16 comes short to using as a machine for professional creative work. But those are just my honest opinions on it as a photographer. I’m curious to know what anyone else thinks. I appreciate you if you’ve read it this far!

I have so much anxiety I can barely concentrate on work. Her latest gripe is that SS15 often wants to do things in our city on her weekends with his friends or with football in our city. She only has EOWE so I get it and we always offer to swap weekends when we can although in some cases she even refuses to do that.
The last incidence we were on vacation (flying back that day) while SS15 was at his moms and he randomly texted us asking if he could get an Uber for Teens to his friends house for a memorial day bbq/pool party because his mom was at work all day and wouldn’t even be home until it was time for us to pick him up. He had used Uber for Teens ONE TIME at our house to get him to practice when neither of us could take him. He claimed his mom said it was ok to go to the bbq via Uber.
Well my SO didn’t believe him so texted BM just asking if it was true, who flipped her shit asking how our son knew about Uber and clearly we had let him Uber before and Uber is only for adults. SO explained Uber for Teens but now she is texting is this:

• he is 15 and we are allowing him to run the streets in an uber, it isn’t right. Just like when he was 12 and we let him ride his bike down the street to 7-11 with his friends. Irresponsible and letting him run the streets.
• we need to give him a curfew (we do, he is back home by 9-10 pm) and staying overnight at his friends house is not adhering to a curfew and giving him too much freedom.
• at our house he always gets his way and can do anything he wants
• the only reason he got Fs and was constantly suspended when he lived with her is because SS15 wanted to come live with his dad so he failed and got suspended on purpose.

I just cannot with the accusations. My SO keeps telling her how insane that all sounds but she just doubles downs and is saying what a great parent she is and what shit parents/step parents we are. It doubly hurts because when SS15 lived at his mom he literally did not take daily baths, did not brush his teeth twice a day if at all, had a locked and no parental controls iphone she got him at the age of 12, and when he was getting Fs there was zero consequences and he was still going out with his friends every day (but he had a curfew so good job I guess?). At our house the internet shuts off at bedtime, his phone has parental controls which we exercise if he falls behind in school or acts up, he takes a bath every day, etc. she also lets SS8 play a ton of fortnite with his friends who say shit like “black african monkey”.
He has had all As and Bs since coming to live here, plays football now, and has a healthy social life. He still has struggles with ODD and emotional outbursts, missing assignments so its very hard work and BM is just making us second guess ourselves. Are we doing something wrong?? How do you reconcile a high conflict BM’s opinion with what is real, or not? Obviously if she has a point we don’t want to ignore it.

Look I love this franchise by heart which would lead me to consume every single piece of media as possible and it didn’t really bother me from the top of my head about the change skin colours and whatnot.
But I have seen these types of posts before on mostly Twitter and Tumblr, and I’m surprised to see so much of these types of posts like these. Like I genuinely want to know why y’all obsess over a fictional character’s skin colour so much like… why?
Monkey Punch already pointed out himself there is no official canon in the Lupin universe. Therefore it doesn’t really matter whether or not Goemon was tan in Part I and not in Part V. But it’s an obsession for some reason, people just keeping bringing it up because it really bothers some people. If it really bothers them then simply leave like I don’t understand why they’re complaining so much as if TMS is actually going to listen to them…
And I’m not saying that Jigen, Goemon, or Zenigata being tan bothers me because as I said before I enjoy watching Lupin III rather then focusing on something completely different.
So if you headcanon Goemon having black skin? Cool. Headcanon Zenigata being tan? Awesome. But don’t go off making these comments about them being supposedly the different skin colour.
Like some people are saying it’s racism that TMS white washed some characters in the modern entries… I mean isn’t it racism to say you don’t like to see having someone with a skin colour you don’t to see them as? Do y’all even hear yourselves?

Alright lets get into it.
But before we do, I need to explain exactly what it means for a company to be "shorted" and as a response, be "short squeezed"
Ill explain in monkey speak first:
Imagine a store has a supply of 100 bananas for sale at 1.00 per banana.
Now, a certain animal (lets call this animal a bear) thinks that the cost per banana will drop from 1.00 dollar to 0.50 cents. They go to the store and they borrow 50 bananas promising to return them. The bear, now in debt to the store, sells those bananas at 1.00 each and collects 50 dollars. Then, the market price for a banana drops to 0.50, they go and buy back the 50 bananas (now at 0.50 cents) paying 25 dollars, then return them back to the person they bought them from. This relieves the bears from their debts and they pocket 25 dollars in the process.
This is the process of shorting a company. They will "Borrow" or "Short" a companies shares when they think it will drop. They sell those shares. The market price drops. Then they buy them back at a low price. Then return them to who they borrowed from and make some serious money.
Typically, this is done to companies who are not looking like they will have very much growth (i.e., GameStop in an increasingly electronic world. Or FFIE in a world where Chinese electric cars are being restricted from sales in the USA for foreign policy reasons.)
Now, a short squeeze happens when another animal (lets say a bull (or maybe an ape would actually be better)) decides that they don't really want the price of bananas to drop because they really really really really like bananas. So the ape goes to the store and buys all the available bananas as well as buying them from the bears. Now, since there's no more available, and bananas are in demand, the price rises up to 1.50, instead of dropping.
Now, the bears are in a dilemma. They need to return the bananas to the person they bought them from. If they don't, the person they borrowed from is going to start charging them late fees for every day that they don't return the bananas.
As you can imagine, the bears would be SUPER angry about this, and fight the apes tooth and nail to try to get them to sell. They will tell everyone (via the media) that the apes are bad. They will publish false information about the cost of bananas. They will try to borrow bananas from other people to make it seem like bananas arent worth anything.
BUT, if the apes hold onto their sweet, juicy bananas, then the bears cant get find any to buy even if they wanted to. So the apes eventually will say "I will give you my bananas back for a premium cost of 10 dollars. Now, the apes who bought all the bananas for 100 dollars will sell them back to get 1000 dollars instead.
Essentially, the apes can make the price whatever they want, because the bears are paying a late fee for every day that they don't return the original bananas. At some point, the late fee will become so expensive that they will pay whatever it takes to get the bananas back.
This is known as a short squeeze. And the apes can potentially make lots of money on those bananas.
Applying this to the market, if FFIE is being shorted, and you all decide you want to squeeze them. Then hold, your shares, the shorter will pay whatever it takes to get those shares returned.
Now, there are a few things that are required to make a short squeeze happen:

1. There needs to be an entity (hedge funds) who shorted the stocks, betting the price would decline. Very simple to find out as it is public information.
   
2. There needs to be an entity (You mad lads) who wants to make money off their shorts (this is a bit harder as y'all get scared of the fight back by them and sell out).
   
3. Time investment to make the hedge funds sweat about losing money on the shares they borrowed.
   

PHEW! That was tough. You did good though, Now, you are all experts on the idea behind a short squeeze.
Lets see if FFIE has the requirements needed to begin a short squeeze:

1. The shorts. On April 30th, and in my Last Post , I showed an image that the company FFIE was absolutely being shorted. In fact, 98% of the total shares of the company were being shorted. So yes, FFIE met requirement number 1.

Now, there has been ALOT of debate regarding the current number of shorts. And I'll help resolve WHY this debate has been ongoing. I believe that much of this debate lies in the differences between the terms "short volume" and "Short interest"
Many have been screaming that the short interest of a company is only posted every 2 weeks. Which is absolutely true.
Others have been posting that the shorted volume of FFIE is at VERY high numbers. Which is also true.
For those that don't understand the market, the short interest and short volume are interchangable. That is why so many of you have been so confused.
Im here to tell you, THEY ARE NOT THE SAME.
There are very clear differences between the two numbers and their reliability, in terms of a squeeze is extremely different. Ill try to make it simple for you and put your questions and confusions to bed.
STRAP IN! THIS IS TOTALLY NOT GOING TO BE BORING!
Official definition online for short interest from the fintel website:
"collected by FINRA from brokers twice a month and distributed by the stock exchanges. So, twice a month all the brokedealers add up all the short positions held in all of their custodial accounts — that means yours, mine, and all the hedge funds — and send the totals to FINRA."

Yeah that was literally ctrl. C then ctrl . V onto this text. Doesn't seem too intuitive does it.
What the heck does this mean? Ape speak please?
The short Interest is the number of shares shorted by all of the different hedge funds. It is a comprehensive list of all the numbers of the total number of short shares.
However, it only represents a snapshot in time. Typically, it is a snapshot in time from the day that it is required to be reported. The most recent numbers came on today (5/24).
In general, this number can be manipulated. Think of it like taking a picture. Because that number is based on a snapshot in time, and hedge funds know when the picture will be taken, they can hide the number of shorted shares during the picture, and then once the camera takes its picture, they go back to normal. It is a way that the bears can lie about the fact that they borrowed shares.
Official definition online for short VOLUME from the FINTEL website:
the accumulated trades published to the consolidated tape. Every trade that is made is published in real time to the tape. At the end of the trading day, every trading venue publishes their volume numbers, which includes both Short Volume and Total Volume.
Jesus. That was a difficult read. Are you still awake?
Okay again. Super easy to understand. Right? Right? Yeah not so much. I hate the technical terminology used but I guess I can explain.
The short VOLUME is is a more accurate measure of how a particular stock is being shorted. I think of it more like a video tape. It is a collection of all shorting trades made, and is posted every day. It is a lot of information to sort through, but the numbers speak VOLUMES to the efficiency of a possible squeeze (haha volume. Get it?)
In the end, if the VOLUME of shorted shares remains high, then the company is relying on the price of the stock to decline, or trying to hold out when a squeeze is happening in the hopes that the price of the shares drop again. This is the number we care about. This number is COMPREHENSIVE of all shorted stocks (including off-exchange/darkpool numbers and retail shorts)

Here is another explanation in terms a dumb ape would understand:
Okay so using the previous "APE vs BEAR banana in supermarket example"
Lets start where the Apes have purchased all the bananas and we think the bears have shorted banana sales.
So, lets imagine that the laws require that the Bears post publicly exactly how many bananas they borrowed from the lender. They are required to post this information every 2 weeks. They know they have to post soon. Therefore, to scare the apes into thinking they aren't actually squeezing, they take their picture of their borrowed bananas and post it. In the picture (since they had time to organize their efforts) it shows that they, in fact, didn't borrow any bananas. Now the apes would be panicked right? They have all these bananas for no reason. But a SMART ape would understand that they could use that photo to manipulate us. They obviously just quickly hid the fact that they borrowed bananas for the picture. The bears used the required "short interest picture" to scare you all into thinking your bananas were worthless, and encourage you to sell them.
Instead, its better to look at the security footage of the bears hiding their borrowed banana receipts. We'd be able to catch them red handed! Thus, we look at the "short volume" of bananas. The problem is, each bear individually posts their volume every day, and doesn't compile it in one clear video for us. Why would they? The more we know, the more we can charge for our bananas.
Plus, there are also dozens (if not hundreds) of bears all posting, accurate, but misleading, numbers. They make a united effort to throw as many confusing, and non-relevant videos into the mix to divert our attention.
This is EXACTLY what you have seen posted all week. Various people posting different volume numbers. And while each volume number they posted is accurate, they are only a partial truth.

Well, with the report of the "snapshot" that is released every 2 weeks, we also get another bit of information. The total number of exchanged shorts "off exchange."
Are you still following? This is where it gets even more confusing.
With the report, FINTEL also publishes a number known as the "off exchange short volume"

This number is the most accurate number to describe how many shares of a stock are currently being shorted. As we learned above, the "short interest" isn't reliable as the bears can hide their numbers during the picture.
However, at some point, some smart person (probably being super angry at how the bears could lie using short interest pictures) made a law that requires them disclose the number of currently exchanged "off market/dark pool" exchanges that were made.
An off market exchange is what happens when a bear decides to trade with another bear out of the public eye.
Why would they do this?
Back to our "ape speak" example
Okay so the bears know that they have their upcoming (2-week) picture that gets released. They want to make it seem like they don't have any owed bananas.
What do they do? How can they just lie for a picture?
The answer is in off market exchanges. You see, the bears found out that they can trade their shorts WITH EACHOTHER.
So for the picture, Mr. Black bear gives all his receipts to the polar bear. Then, when the Mr. Polar bear takes his photo, he gives them to Mr. Black bear (since he already took his photo).
These off market exchanges tend to SKYROCKET during a few times. One of which, is when hedge funds try to hide how much of an investment they have in their shorted shares.
So, over the next few days, we will see many people posting "OMG THEY ARENT EVEN SHORTING BECAUSE THE SHORT INTEREST IS DOWN FROM LAST POST"
Well, of course its lower. The last posted information, the hedge funds didn't know they would be squeezed. Therefore, they didn't feel the need to hide the short interest. Now, they need to hide it to scare you. So they create fear by lowering that number. But when that short interest number goes down, and off exchange goes up, it means they are still holding shorts, but just covering it up for their short interest reports.
Okay, so lets look at these numbers and see what it means for squeezers.
LONG STORY SHORT, THEY HAVE NOT NOT RETURNED THEIR SHORTS. They are simply trying to manipulate us into believing that they did.
In fact, they went from 36 million shorts UP to 64 million shorts (likely a bit less as this number includes transfers of shorts both ways).
But still, they have hope. Let's strip it away from them and make it KNOWN that they are manipulating. Time to HOLD and TIME TO BUY.
When you hold/buy shares, then the second requirement and third requirement for the squeeze are in our hands entirely.
Now, I know there's alot more to say, but I know people are waiting for my post so Im going to cut it short here. Ill make another post this weekend regarding the specific trading patterns we saw on the day-to-day that imply that the bears were trying to make us panic sell our shares.

Balance Changes

The combination of towers you are able to pass round 1 with can change quite a lot in any overall strategy, especially for more restrictive game modes, so for this update we have made an effort to open up new starter combinations with improvements to a number of initial placement towers.

Tower Balance

Dart Monkey
While we have been working to increase this niche with many new maps, Juggernaut’s functions sub-optimally for the majority of current maps in the game as the knockback doesn’t scale well without good rebound opportunities; to help with this we’re increasing their knockback force slightly with even more emphasis on the less-favored crosspath. We are slightly reducing the cost of Super Monkey Fan Club to overall improve the value of taking multiple to maintain higher uptime

Boomerang Monkey
Boomerang base price is being slightly reduced, already a decent start in many cases though this seemed enough to make slight game start changes and price it differently to other towers. The main attack for MOAB Domination has been scaled up as overall it is a good upgrade but the pierce on this main attack was previously unchanged from the T3. Glaive Lord’s main thrown attacks will now be able to bounce back again and hit the same target multiple times, this can be a very powerful effect so there is a cooldown on how frequently any single Bloon can be re-targeted.

Bloon Crush does its job locking down all movement in an area, but we feel it could see more damage to reduce the stall time without the balance really changing much. Bomb Blitz was recently refitted to a cheaper price range while proportionally keeping a similar power level for the cost, however seeing it now in this spot we feel keeping higher damage will give it the edge it needs to feel more impactful than spamming Recursives.

Tack Shooter
Tack is a very powerful base tower technically, but it is unable to achieve high uptime of that potential power in many early rounds, so some base cost is moving into the cheaper xx1 and xx2 upgrades to make it easier for other towers to start alongside the tack. Additionally, while we’ve held out on this change as there are strong use cases in prior upgrades, Blade Maelstrom lacks the single target punch to last late in Modern Bloons. While it is designed as a high pierce cleanup of low tier Bloons we want to try shifting some pierce to single target damage to feel good for longer.

Glue Gunner
Increased duration has limited use on upgrades that completely destroy targets anyway, so a better crosspath benefit is being added onto 401 glue puddles. Bloon Solver’s pierce is being reduced as it is over-overkill for how many Bloons you realistically see at once, but this reduction should not be noticed for most players. Glue Splatter stands out as weirdly expensive for T2, and is rarely even needed so we’re significantly cutting its price to bring it down to a more affordable range with less pierce, we hope this should make it more worth considering for splatter coverage over piercing. Now that Glue Storm is extremely good for damage type & debuff support we’re removing the bonus speed reduction that should otherwise require xx2 crosspath and lowering the duration of the Glue Storm. New Relentless Glue finally offers something quite powerful so cost is slightly increasing.

(we’ve also increased shrapnel pierce at this tier to not tip crosspath balance too far to one side).

Nautic Siege Core’s hero buff is being improved as currently this is an under-utilized part of the tower.

As the paragon has exceptionally powerful scaling mechanics as well as being a paragon that continues to produce cash the XP Unlock requirement is increasing, this increase will not affect players who have already unlocked it.

Blooncineration’s 025 crosspath currently works so much better with external buffs so we're tweaking the 205 crosspath to feel better in some situations.

Wizard Monkey
Wizard has a weaker base tower so the base cost is going down in exchange for a small price increase to the cost to value ratio for the effective Arcane Mastery. As Fireball becomes very forgotten at higher tiers and is hard to even see at Dragon’s Breath, we’re improving the crosspath and adding even more projectiles at T3 for wider explosive coverage. As Shimmer is the slowest de-camo in the game it is important that it not miss when it does trigger, so pierce is greatly increased. Wizard Lord Phoenix’s Wall of Fire hasn’t had any meaningful upgrade progression, so its damage is being increased. Magus is one of the more in-depth Paragons to use effectively so having it as one of the cheapest to unlock didn't feel right, the unlock XP requirements for this and Ninja are being swapped around.

The recent Robo/Tech Terror nerfs had a larger impact on the Anti-Bloon, so it is seeing a larger compensatory price reduction. Legend of the Night’s special passive ability is being failsafe limited to 2 activations per round, per tower.

Ninja Paragon is very simple to use so unlock XP requirements for this and Wizard Paragon are swapping around so Ninja is the faster unlock. This increase will not affect players who have already unlocked it.

Druid
Passive life generation is being removed in favor of the active ability being the only source of life generation, this allows druid-focus strategies to no longer ‘accidentally’ heal their Vengeance buffs away. Heart of Vengeance itself has been allowed to remain overpowered for a long time since life loss is not always an option in different challenges/modes, but with newer competitive modes being added over time that do allow for this mechanic to be, overindulged, shall we say, it feels due for substantial rebalance.

Long Life Spikes can start creating a nice buildup of spikes in advance but most of the time feels fairly meh as a stepping stone into Deadly Spikes, a little price here is being shifted up to improve standalone upgrade value.

Sentry placements are slightly changing to improve their reliability, and will now spawn closer to the track depending on how much range the sentry has. Sentry Champion, while strong with them, is lacking without high buff support so we’re trying out an increase to the sentry damage on it.

In going over our large list of price changes for Beast Handler’s lower tiers in 42 this change was received very positively, however we did not realize that in making this change we killed off all chance of dual-beast handlers being used as a round 1 starting option for under $650 in hard modes – So we gotta do that math all over again and convert it for difficulty, painful 😀 All T1 beast prices changed to allow 110 & 101 beast handler combos to be placed for under $650 in hard mode, all T2 & T3 prices shifted around to keep these same cost ratios.

Quincy
Quincy’s Rapid Shot starts with an extremely short duration that slowly increases over levels, the difference between min and max is huge but it doesn’t feel too impactfully increased at any point through the leveling up process, so we are increasing the base duration and instead moving the buff up to max duration all into his Lv13 which currently doesn’t do much.

• Quincy no longer gains 0.5s Rapid Shot duration per level

Gwendolin
Gwendolin’s Heat it Up was recently reworked to allow for much more frequent triggering from attacks, however the 4.5s internal cooldown still limits it from being scaled up far so that internal cooldown is now also being reduced. Additionally, Heat it Up’s bonus buff to damage against Lead targets has been improved slightly so we can get more out of that niche.

Obyn Greenfoot

Benjamin
Benjamin’s Cyber Security and Skimming levels have been swapped around so that the early game skimming cash snowball doesn’t come quite so soon, and Cyber Security can come in earlier where it will make a bigger impact proportionally to the lives being lost.

Some Relics required more functional changes. As ‘Popping White Bloons’ is also far too situational Deep Heat now also grants Frozen Bloon popping and improves the duration of Freezes.

I’m seeing a large influx of posts asking whether x igneous post is good and wanted to clear up some questions and hopefully circumvent some of the igneous posts we’ve been seeing.
what is the best igneous roll?
The (generally) agreed upon best igneous roll is
Fluted Barrel
Ricochet rounds
Keep away
Precision instrument
Range/handling masterwork
This roll offers solid stats across the board. You have excellent range, excellent stability, and excellent handling
what if I don’t have fluted barrel?
Most barrels are fine on igneous as long as you can maintain solid stats across the board
does handling really matter?
Yes! There’s a large difference between an igneous with good handling and an ignous with bad handling. While having good range is great when you’re shooting down a lane, if you’re running the classic hand cannon/shotgun combo, that means you’ll be depending on igneous to deliver damage at midrange for you as well. In these scenarios it’s more likely you’ll win engagements if you can ready and ADS with igneous quickly.
Igneous has a base ready speed of .37 seconds and an ADS speed of .27 seconds
The Summoner has a ready speed of .32 and an ADS speed of .26
Rose has a ready speed of .3 seconds and an ADS speed of .23 seconds.
Without fixing igneous’s handling your opponent will start shooting at you earlier if you both ready and ADS at the exact same time. This is horrible for igneous as it’s already a gun with a slow TTK. Handling is a way to ensure you start fights on a more even ground.
what about stability?
Stability will depend on whether you play on controller or mouse and keyboard. I believe 50 is the golden number for both. Some have argued that you want 60 on controller, and some mouse and keyboard players have said 40 is enough. This stat, more than others, is going to come down to preference.
How much range do I want?
I think 80 range is solid. If you can go above 80 even better. But once you’re at 80 range you’ll hit 37.80 meters which is reasonable for this archetype.
what are some good magazine perks?
Ricochet rounds is generally the best you can get in this slot. But any of the perks that grant range are fine with lightmag (in my opinion) being second best as it helps with Igneous’s other weakpoint: the slow reload speed.
what about extended mag for AE?
All I’m going to say is that if you’re planning on using extended mag you better have a way to fix the reload speed. That means your third slot better have keep away or rapid hit. Another solution is to just use ophidians. Either way you don’t want to have 10 reload speed. Reloading for 3.37 seconds is something you’re going to feel in every single match.
What’s worth taking in the third slot?
A lot of things. Aside from keep away we have:
Rapid hit - arguably one of the best perks you can run on igneous and many have argued that it’s actually better than keep away depending on your preference.
Fragile focus - 20 range for the start of every engagement is great. I personally don’t like it because you can lose it easily in the middle of an engagement.
Rangefinder - it just make igneous more sticky. This is definitely something you may or may not feel so just give it a try.
what about encore/heal clip?
Encore I feel is better suited for 6s but is generally fine. Heal clip has a small fan following but I believe that heal clip’s power is dependent on how fast a gun can reload. I run heal clip on helio. But not on igneous
does precision instrument matter?
YES. And no. Precision instrument is a perk that grants consistency. Being able to 2H1B is great because sometimes you’re going to miss a headshot. But precision instrument is specific about when it works. Your third bullet needs to be a headshot. The first and second can be a headshot or a body shot. That’s very specific! It all comes down to the individual player. Do you like perks that help you with consistency? Do you like headseeker? You’ll probably want precision instrument.
There are also range benefits to having precision instrument but I won’t get into numbers.
If you feel confident in your aim, or you know you struggle to land that final 3rd crit, precision instrument might not be for you.
so what else is good?
The usual suspects. Eye of the storm will give you consistency as well but in a different way and can be preferred over precision instrument based on your individual skills.
Golden tricorn will let you 2H1B and can give you a bigger bonus if you run a subclass that gets grenade or melee kills often.
Opening shot is a classic
Moving target is also good.
I got a reload masterwork, is this roll bad?
It really depends on the individual roll. The best rule of thumb I can give is you want to maximize your stats while losing as little as possible. Sometimes, a reload masterwork is exactly what your specific roll needs.

Hello!
I've been thinking about how the game differs from ranked to casual lately. After reaching Master league I decided to step away from the ladder a bit and figure out how casual mode is adapting to Twilight Masquerade.
For this experiment I decided to play something incredibly silly (4x Teal Mask Ogerpon with 35 energies), partly because I thought that people would be playing silly/experimental/unoptimized things in casual and partly to save me some braincells since this deck is just attach/attach and dunk so matches go quickly on my way or against it. I had very little experience with casual before as I usually just sit on ladder with whatever things seem to be working in a given week.
Some of these matches were against players that were clearly new or unfamiliar with how their decks worked, their sequencing was all over the place and in quite a few occasions I could not make sense of what their plans were. But mostly games went on just fine.
Some considerations about the data:
1 - The silly deck I was playing can farm charizard all day long and zard still seems to be very popular in casual.
2 - Dragapult requires some brainpower to play and I think I faced a lot of people that were still figuring out how the cards interact
3 - I faced like 3 mimikyus (twice against gardevoir, once against unfezant) and 1 cornerstone ogerpon during testing which were basically auto-losses. I tried to boss them around for a bit, but the deck just wasnt cut to deal with the little fellow.
4 - sometimes people automatically concede before I can figure out what they are trying to do when they lead with something niche/weird, I haven't added them to the data below
5 - a lot of decks seem to be heavy on disruption so they end up with many dead cards in hand if there's nothing worth disrupting
6 - greninja (with and without frostlass) seems to be ridiculously good and consistent. Loved both my matches against them.
7 - On average I had only one mullingan per match. Once I had 11 and proceeded to be absolutely stomped by dialga + arceus. Good times.
8 - I saw a few weird/niche pokemon here and there but most decks I faced seemed to be somewhat functional. I imagine that a lot of people were testing stuff in there and that some bricked hands must have held them back, but overall, only a few of the matches were free wins (mostly against zards).
9 - I was surprised to see 4 Maccargo lists being played. That card seems to be soo bad. Still ripped holes in a few of my teal masks on occasion tho.
10 - I'm not an extremely competitive person, but I will try to write down results like this once the ladder resets to see how they differ from casual mode.

Hello Andrew and JJ. Just finished listening to the podcast after a lovey Tuesday afternoon in Richmond Virginia. Decided to go through a walk in my neighborhood and mow the lawn while I listened. Per Andrew’s request, I thought I’d drop my thoughts on this season as a whole and the general feeling that city fans (not the ones hiding behind pep/haaland/Foden/KDB Avis) on twitter. MOST fans came into this season with fairly tame expectations, and the ranking of wants are as follows (from most fan groups and podcasts dedicated to the club). 1. The prem City fans generally care about the prem above all else. The monkey was lifted off the back last year in the UCL. The prem is what you start every year chasing, that’s your priority. Handle business in the group stage and figure out the knockouts when they come. 2. UCL. Nows a good of time as ever to start collecting those big ears. We got the first one, that’s the hardest. This is a free hit let’s see what can happen. (Not the mention it felt like a very weak crowd of teams this season). 3. FA cup. It’s actually something that’s been difficult for city during the pep era. We like to be involved in every competition and usually the quarters and semis fall in a very tough time for teams chasing UCL and prem aspirations. 4 that sweet sweet carabao. What used to be a staple of the Blues has become a distant memory. An ex lover that still seems like something you can go back to but in the end we can’t land. 5 the other good bits that came with winning the UCL (which we took full advantage of)
So how do we feel about it all? I think most city fans felt the Treble hangover at November and December from the players . The KDB injury, Kyle Walker all of a sudden being a staple piece after a season where he was not playing every single game and now basically being asked to play RB and RW, Julian alverez clogging things up in the center and although having a fairly impressive g/a contribution ultimately feeling like he’s in the way, and just the overall question of how much is in the tank for these guys.. the feelings were low on what would become of the season. I truly expected to be competitive in all competitions BUT had a feeling that we’d end up with a top 4 season, a deep UCL run, and maybe one of the cups. And I was not alone in this feeling either.
A treble, it’s only happened ONCE before in England. And it was the rags across town way back then. That’s what this team just accomplished. Not to mention they just did a 3 peat in the most competitive and challenging of leagues. Every pundit spoke about complacency settling in “it’s only natural, what’s left to play for, ect.” That constantly being mentioned throughout the season.
I truly believe if the Newcastle game Jan 13th didn’t end the way it did.. the 4peat doesn’t happen. KDB subs on late and does KDB things, and a name I’d said 98% of this sub didn’t know about until this year in Oscar Bobb has some of the most audacious bit of skill in a crucial moment to secure 3 points. Those are margins that make a season, and Those moments are not inevitable. For the majority of the season it was a 3 horse team a familiar adversary and an up and coming problem that I’m betting will be the top dogs these next few seasons.
Real Madrid knocking us out stings, but it’s Madrid in the UCL. I’ve felt that before, and I’d bet the house I feel it again.
FA cup against the rags is a stinger but again in the context of a 4 peat just getting accomplished it’s stomached.
Next season? Give us what we want. That sweeet sweet carabobbins. Send pep out the way he deserves. Check ya later fun boys 🫡

I have developed a theory to prove that Shanks is indeed evil and not a kind-hearted man who cares for other people.
Chapter 1: Relations with the Government
My first point is when Shanks has a meeting with the Five Elder Stars. When Shanks enters their room, the Five Elder Stars aren’t at all alerted or concerned that an Emperor of the Sea entered their room, even when Shanks pulls out his sword. In fact, they have a casual discussion together. Furthermore, I believe that Shanks works for the government as a spy to try and capture the One Piece. Shanks also casually has a chat with Sengoku at Marineford.
Chapter 2: Luffy’s Childhood
Shanks acts like a paternal figure to Luffy, which is strange considering he would not need to befriend Luffy to get the One Piece. My explanation for this is that it is possible that you can only get the One Piece if you have the Will of D, Which Luffy has but Shanks does not. Shanks intends to use Luffy to get the One Piece. It also explains why Shanks lost his arm to a Sea King protecting Luffy even though he has Conqueror’s Haki and could have easily destroyed the beast, he let his arm be eaten to earn Luffy’s trust. This also explains why Shanks befriended Luffy, as before eating the Gomu Gomu No Mi, Luffy was just a little random runt. Luffy gets his powers from a devil fruit which was in a crate next to him. Shanks acts unhappy that Luffy ate the fruit, but I believe that he put the fruit there on purpose, knowing that Luffy would eat any food he can get his hands on. He probably does this because he knows that Luffy needs to be powerful if he will someday find the One Piece. Shanks probably got the fruit from the World Government, who probably told him the fruit’s powers, which explains how Shanks somehow knew the fruit Luffy ate was the Gomu Gomu No Mi, even though it is said that only a devil fruit user can tell their powers after eating the fruit. And this wasn’t any random fruit; Shanks gave him a literal God Fruit because he knows Luffy will need it if he is to become a powerful pirate. I theorize that The World Government is unaware of Shanks using Luffy. Shanks has the World Government thinking he has a special power to obtain The One Piece, when in reality it is Luffy, but if the World Government knew that they would ditch Shanks and use Luffy instead. This also could explain why Shanks is always so happy when Luffy gets a higher bounty because he knows he is closer to achieving his goal.
Chapter 3: Shanks’ Motive
I believe that Shanks' plan is to betray the World Government, and keep the One Piece for himself, for an unknown goal.
Chapter 4: Shanks’ Childhood
Shanks is 39 years old, while Rocks. D Xebec, Shanks’ possible Father, died 38 years ago. My theory is that Monkey D. Garp adopted baby Shanks, and took him in and trained him to be in the Navy. He then was sent to infiltrate Gol D. Roger’s crew, possibly causing Roger’s incurable disease, just so he could get information on the One Piece. It is also fairly strange that Shanks’ full name is never mentioned, and many theorists have suggested that he most definitely could be one of the World Nobles, whose only superiors are the Five Elder Stars and Imu, the secret monarch of the One Piece world.
Chapter 5: Conversation with Whitebeard
Shanks boards Whitebeard’s ship to tell him an important message. He tells Whitebeard to stay away from Blackbeard and to not send Ace after him because Blackbeard is too strong for Ace. This puzzled me, because it seemed completely unnecessary for Ace to not die in order for Shanks to get the One Piece, but then I remembered something. Ace is Luffy’s brother, and if Ace died to Blackbeard, then Luffy would likely go after Blackbeard to avenge his brother’s death, only to die himself, which would make all of Shanks’ hard work be for nothing. However, Ace got captured by the Marines instead and was sent to Impel Down which didn’t interfere with his plan, luckily for Shanks. Even though Ace would die in Marineford, Luffy would luckily survive which gave Shanks a lucky break.
Theory
So this is how the story goes. 1-year old Shanks is left behind after Rocks D. Xebec’s defeat in God Valley. Found by Monkey D. Garp of the marines, who brings him to the Five Elder Stars who decide to train him as a spy. After his training, Shanks’ first mission is to infiltrate the Pirate King Gol D. Roger’s crew. He infiltrates his crew, possibly causing Roger’s incurable disease leading to his death. Then assembles a crew and tries to find the One Piece as a pirate, but realizes he can’t without the Will of D., so he sets off in search of someone with the Will of D. Eventually, he finds Monkey D. Luffy, the very grandson of the man who adopted him. He gets Luffy to eat a devil fruit, then gains his trust by saving Luffy and purposefully losing his arm. Then, he gives Luffy his straw hat to further increase Luffy’s trust in him. Then he sets off waiting patiently for Luffy to become a powerful pirate, celebrating after Luffy’s recent achievements. Then he walks into the Five Elder Stars room and says he wants to talk to them about a certain pirate, probably Luffy. He probably is warning the Five Elders that Luffy is indeed close to getting the One Piece and that they should get ready to go in and recapture the One Piece from Luffy.
My theory is not complete, but bring all of the points together and you will find the truth of Red-Haired Shanks, the man who had us all thinking he was a kind and caring pirate, when in the truth he was simply using everyone he pretended to work with; His crew, Luffy, and the World Government to achieve his obscure and unknown true goal.

Finally, i begin to solve the math problem, applying what I have learned, the code that I have now processed i will proceed now to use my motion to create (Kinestetic) this is the last step and second longest step out of the full 3 steps. Exposing myself now to paper and pencil, or clacking keyboard keys, just doing, motion, activity, become the creator and leave the consumer behind for that moment.
As a programmer overall, you realize your motivation to create does not come until you first create a self sustained application/ecosystem/api/framework. Once you see your creation and that it was you who made it, the possibilities expand and you begin to dream forward, imagine what you could achieve from here forth.

babysitting my cousin today (2) and he’s playing well with all of the children at the park. A mom of 2 one an infant and the other a toddler come along and her main focus is the infant, toddler running around playing on its own .. that’s fine. My cousin is on the monkey bars but I’m noticing this kid (the toddler) is now by the sprinklers being mildly aggressive. Filling water in a bucket and tossing at unsuspecting children , shoving sticks in the sprinkler sprout stopping water from coming out, taking dirt and smearing it on swings so no one can sit. Kid couldn’t be more than 4 years old and already such a menace. Mom not paying much attention focus is still mainly on the infant. Kid now works his way up to where my cousin is playing. My little bundle of joy being the burst of happiness he is waves and says hi. Kid roars at him. So now I’m more alert and come closer to the set they’re playing on instead of sitting on the bench keeping a watchful eye like I was previously. My cousin unfortunately doesn’t get the hint and is still trying to say hi. Kid goes ROARRRRRR again. And my cousin just walks off to play with another kid. The toddler now I guess feeling left out walks towards my cousin and the new kid he’s playing with and gently pushes the other kid. Now I dont want to jump to conclusions so I decide to think positively maybe he wants to play tag or a friendly wrestle so I dont say anything. The kid the menace toddler pushes laughs it off and all 3 kids are now playing with the wheels at the park playing pirates or something they were pretending to be on a boat. I say to myself awww maybe he was just doing all the other stuff for attention kid being a kid. The other kid is time for him to go and his mom is calling him so he begins to walk off and says bye. The menace toddler gets visibly upset and starts shouting for him to stay and is stomping his feet. My cousin and the other kid start to feel uncomfortable and just scared so they back away from him both on opposite sides of him. I now call for my cousin to get off the play set because now I just feel uncomfortable it’s a wrap let’s go play somewhere else cuzzo. As my cousin walks towards the slide using that as a way to come off the play set. I am now at the side of the slide on the ground. Menace toddler runs up from the other side of the play set to where we are now and stops how fricken awkward but whatever. “HAWK TUH” spit flies towards my cousins head and in one quick motion without even thinking it through I yank the kid by the collar from the top of the slide over the side and on to the ground he starts crying very loudly and I pick my cousin up from the slide who now has spit on his hair and storm off. The mom NOWWWW pays attention and is I guess asking whats wrong and idk what he says to her but she makes eye contact with me glaring and I flip her the bird. She packs the infant and her menace kid in a stroller and leaves the park .

Firstly I want to saturate myself with as much information from a subject as possible, and who better to be flooded with information that some youtube video presentation, or more widely applied, a professional in the field. For some they are College Professors for others a personal tutor. Even if i do not understand it all, i want to be exposed to the words. (Listening)
