I just updated to v0.18.20 and saw the addition of Lumimaid in the logs, so I went to grab it.
First impressions: this model is incredible!
Second impressions: Oh, it just… repeats itself. Constantly. 🧐
I found that, after the first 5 or so messages, it just started repeating itself verbatim. Even when generating another response, it would either copy another earlier response, or generate the exact same message again.
I switched up the repetition penalty from 1.05 to 1.2 and that fixed it… for one message. Then it did it again. So I upped the repetition tokens from 256 to 512 and it fixed it for one message, then it just carried on repeating itself.
I’ve found that I’ve I just randomly change the repetition penalty in between every message, that usually means I won’t get a repeated message… but it’s tiresome.
I also tried switching the Prompt Template to Llama 3, but it just started repeating MY messages back at me 🤨
Lumimaid seems to have the potential to be an amazing small model, and its understanding of context is kind off the charts… but it also seems to be borderline unusable 😭
Anybody got any tips or had any better luck?

Looking for general feedback on this case:
3xtickets for parking in excess of 2 hrs at the same location. May 26, May 31 & June 5. Notice of offence was only received for the June 5 ticket on June 12, discovered 2 other offences online when reviewing the infraction. The 1st ticket was paid and 2 others appealed
Appealed the ticket with the following explanation:

1. Would notice of an infraction occurred at the first instance, repeated offences would not have occurred.
   
2. The driver was my wife, unfamiliar with the area and not comfortable driving in new places.
   
3. Asked for discretion given the circumstance and not receiving the notices.
   

The appeal was denied for the following reasons:

1. The signage was located near the vehicle & should have provided opportunity to observe it for the repeated offences
   
2. Vehicle cannot park longer than the posted time.
   
3. Account history: A different vehicle had received tickets in Jan, March and April (same owner as the vehicle in the incident above & similar locations).
   

Looking for comments/feedback as the sentiment on our side is the 1st offence paid, others removed. History should reflect the unique vehicle only. There is no opportunity to change behavior in the window and manor that notices are delivered.

Day two, still no cigarette cravings... what is going on?!?
A pretty easy day yet again, but my cravings for sugar and fast food are real. I've been eating a lot more fruit to try to curb the sugar cravings, yesterday I ate a ton of cherries because they are in season here. Probably had over a pound all-in throughout the day, lol.
I think the reason these last couple days have been easy is because i'm experiencing relatively low stress this week and my mood is good. Plus I feel very positive about cleaning up my act, so it's easy for me to say no. The real test will begin when i'm a month in and having a tough day.

Hello Fellow developers, need help with environment/solution strategy.
Im deveoped an activity tracking app with canvas apps, with 10 flows, developed as unmanaged in a dev environment and then migrated to prod environment. It uses sharepoint with 2000 records (Adding each year)

Now i need 6 more identical solutions and my concern is what would be the best environment/solution strategy.

Options:
1-One dev environment with 7 unmanaged solutions + one prod environment with 7 managed solutions?
With this option, I just could use the same exported solution so wouldnt have to re make the solution.

2-seven dev environment with 1 unmanaged solutions + seven prod environment with 1 managed solutions?

With this option couldnt find an easy way to replicate the same solution without having to re make most of the solution.

3- One dev environment (to update in case necessary the app) and 7 prod environments

Could this be a bit risky?

Note: I Imagine an important part of this desition would be solution weight and environments capacity. How could i check this values? Exported solution file is 1 MB

Hello, Im from northern Boston and I want to move somewhere warmer. Im pretty young and I go to a Vocational Tech high school. I do I.T and Im getting my certs to become a Cyber Security Analyst. I want to move somewhere with lots of nightlife, car scene, great job opportunities, big population, kind of affordable, lots of young people, great weather, beaches at least 1-2 hours away. I dont want to move to California due the crazy home prices, homelessness, the goverment. I also want to invest into real estate. I'm looking somewhere southern.

Its already stated that one stratagem costs more than most people make in a year but lets look at how much Helldivers really make. We can presume, since there are no banks in the frontier, that when we raid civilian bunkers we are taking their life savings. 100-200 Requisition and maybe 10 super credits is the life savings of a pioneer and these people aren't poor! They are land owners, small business owners, and probably government subsidized. So a Helldiver can easily make 10x a normies savings in a single day! This is sustainable since at least 90% of what Super Earth pays you goes back to them paying for arms, armor, and upgrades. In addition currency goes with the rest of your assets on death to the ship so they never lose what they pay you. That said for the short time a Helldiver is alive they are RICH RICH RICH! So here is my play: Become Helldiver. Only do trivial and easy missions chasing orders. Only work 1 hour a day to make 100X normal income. Get a house on Super Earth. Take vacations from the front to host wild parties. Enjoy being rich AND having the social clout of being a HELLDIVER. Save up enough to run for office. Run as the first Helldiver Senator. Get into office and "play ball" which is to say be corrupt and do whatever the Super Earth system asks of you. We only got into office as it's probably the only way to retire from being a Helldiver which would eventually kill you, probably pays well too.

Hi everyone! At the end of a GregMat video entitled, "GRE Dedicated TC and SE Season 3 Session 3," Greg shows a question on the screen but does not address it in this particular video (he may address it in another video; I just have not gotten to that video yet). The question is shown below. I followed the process and understood the two parts of the sentence after the em dash to be in support of one another. The "but" seems to serve as just a qualification of what type of learning through which the animals survive and not necessarily as a contrast. When I filled in the blanks with my guesses, I wrote down "embedded in" and "ingrained." I learned through another Reddit post that the correct answer is choice E) dictated by .. stereotyped. I was a bit surprised by this because, to me, there is minimal evidence to support the idea of the "instinctive behavior responses" as being stereotyped. If anything, I would've chosen C) before I chose E) because if the learning is complementary to their genetics then the behaviors will feel familiar or instinctual. Can someone explain?

I bought about ten days ago a 130k miles 2019 highlander hybrid platinum.
It seems to be in (mostly) perfect shape and I bet it's been doing only highway. This car will be a big change from my 2006 durango I've been owning/fixing for the last five years.
So far we love it.
I have a few questions for y'all.

1. Even though it's branded as AWD, I don't see any AWD related button/control/screen. Is that normal ? I was expecting to take it a couple of time on a beach or on snow. Nothing crazy, but still... I'm worried now. Does it have different capabilities than the rest of the line ?
2. The 110v power outlet provides only 100W. what ? I thought a hybrid would have a decent sized inverter and would allow my passenger to use a laptop while charging a camping fridge and charging my drone/camera batteries. Here, even my surface pro keeps tripping the protection, I don't get a constant charge. Is it easy to change/upgrade/replace ? Anyone done that ?
3. As I'm typing this I'm trying the AC on battery. Looks like once the battery is on two bars left, it triggers the motor, which charges up to the 3rd bar, then it stops. One bar charging takes about 3min20s. And AC lasts for about 17min. (set to 72f, outside its about 86f) Does that look right to you ? I've read many times I should expect 30min of AC, then about 1.5min of motor.
4. Anyone replaced his head unit with a chinese stuff from Amazon ? I'm interested in "long term" feedbacks. Also I was wondering, what features are lost using these ? Does it bring any "new" feature ? (more insights on the car or something ?)
5. Anyone bought some heavy duty roof rails ? (not a rack but rails) I'll be looking at using my rooftop tent for a few trips. I need to find rails that can sustain some weihght.
6. How does one test the hybrid battery health ? Is that something a toyota dealership can do ? Any idea how much that'd cost ?

I'm looking to sell my Supernote A6X with brown leather folio. It's purchased in January 2023 - so it has the FeelWrite 1 screen. 32 GB of storage. I also have the black/silver heart of metal 2 pen that I can include, but it's engraved with my initials.

I’m having an emotional hard time right now and I’ll try my best not to word vomit.
Fiancé (35m) brought up doing a prenup this morning. There was never a discussion about doing one our entire 3, almost 4 years together.
In addition to this, a few days ago, he wanted to remind me that he still thinks ethical nonmonogamy “would be fun”. He knows this is a hard no from me and it’s his choice to stay in the relationship and continue with getting married. I gave him an out if this is a lifestyle he absolutely needs. He said he doesn’t and it’d only happen if I wanted it. This conversation also happened 5 months ago and took me a while to feel safe and secure again. Now damage has been done that I have to try and repair myself before the wedding. (I have trauma from this because we broke up for a few months about 2 1/2 years ago for this reason. He never cheated or slept with anyone else but he did go on dates while we were apart).
Now he’s talking with his buddies in the group chat and 3 of them have gone through divorces. One guy has a brother that cheated and left his wife for his mistress. His ex wife verbally said she was ok with getting a house and car in cash but once she lawyered up she was told she could get way more. And now she’s getting alimony and “he got screwed.”
This freaked out my fiancé apparently and wants to do a prenup so “no one gets screwed over and we don’t even need a lawyer to do it. Just do it online and get it notarized”
I feel like this is so he doesn’t get screwed over if he messes up and I’m not sure how I feel about doing this without a lawyer. I’m just so blindsided and my mind feels like scrambled eggs. I’m not sure what to do. Any helpful advice?

Hello all. Here is my current brick wall. My grandfather is known to have left Germany in 1934 to Italy however Berlin registration records which are stated by the archives to be incomplete have no record of him. I am needing to provide residence after 01.01.1933 so the question is this. Has anyone here got any recommendations for a professional that may be able to help me locate some proof of his entry to Italy. That and birth records are still elusive as I await formal response from Standesamt 1. I need someone that would have experience in former Prussia/german empire territories and Italy.
Lastly does anyone have any experience with or know if a death certificate for my great grandfather that states my grandfather appeared in person to file the death record listing his residence in Heidelberg at that time could suffice as proof of his whereabouts for that time period. My thought process is that the death certificate is an official civil registration document that I can obtain in a certified manner from the Pila archives formerly schneidemühl.
Any other ideas are also much appreciated.

Seeking advice from someone who is currently doing this. I have a primary residence and the whole upstairs is empty. It's like a bungalow. Pretty big. I would love to rent it out and I think it can bring in some good revenue. I live about 8 minutes from the airport, 20 minutes to downtown, and 4 minutes from main street which has many boutiques, coffee shops, cafés, restaurants. All of it. It's a beautiful area especially at night time. Very quiet too. I think my home would be great to rent out, Especially for pilots and traveling workers since it's right next to the airport and everything else (An uber trip is about $9 on a good day, and 15 on a high) How would I go about this the smart way? What do I need to look for as far as listing it fairly to 1.Bring revenue and 2.Make a good income. Any feedback is appreciated.

Hey everyone! I'm a TFT streamer and Competitive player, hit challenger every set since 4 (not this set! I'll tell you why). I've never posted on Reddit, but I felt like I had too many things I wanted to break down and have a conversation about. These thoughts were just too much for a Twitter post, and I'm really curious to hear how everyone else in the community feels :)!
Disclaimer: I love everyone at the TFT team, and have immense respect for everyone on it, and I know for a fact they all strive to make a product they are proud of. This post is out of love for the game.

1. Novelty in TFT / Set Mechanics: Regarding Novelty in TFT / Set Mechanics: In recent sets, it's clear that the TFT team is determined to create unique and memorable moments for players, which I appreciate. However, in their pursuit of these moments, they seem to have lost sight of the essence that made TFT so magical from the start.

We can all agree that Set 10 was a huge breath of fresh air coming off the turbo-boring set that was 9.5 where everyone equipped URF legend and popped tome 2-1 and prayed. Set 10 is, in my opinion, one of the greatest sets ever designed. Everything aligned perfectly and harmoniously (music pun!), the unit and trait design was near flawless, the set mechanic was a huge upgrade to Set 4/4.5's Chosen mechanic, and the 5 Costs really did feel like premium units. It was a homerun for TFT. (The numbers show that too for all you numbers people)
Moving on from 10 and coming into 11. It was glaring to me that in an attempt to reach the destination of creating novel moments in TFT they took the wrong road. Encounters might just be one of the worst types of game mechanics to ever exist (second only to shadow items). It's a disaster lottery draw every single time it shows up that you dread won't destroy the path that you calculated was the most optimal path based on what you've gotten so far in terms of units, items, augments, etc... The main reason why Encounters are bad game design is because they take away player agency in an unhealthy way. That doesn't mean that there can't be potential encounter type mechanics that borrow player agency that are healthy. It just means this one is bad. It's a lot of quantity over quality and it leaves the player in this weird middle-ground where they're not too impactful to create a sense of excitement and awe when they pop up, but they're just useful enough to be extremely annoying when they don't benefit you at all, and accelerate other people's boards. (Obviously this isn't ALL encounters, but definitely most)

1. Unit and Trait design: Set 11 brings some of the most lackluster / boring feeling units and traits I've ever had the un-pleasure of playing. If you named all your favorite TFT units / Traits of all time do you think any of set 11's Units / Traits would make it into your S-Tier category? (Maybe Lissandra, but she's just a worse Set 6 Tahm Kench lets be real) and apart from the idea behind Exalted (It needs more work, but can be an amazing way of introducing infinite comps) not much in Set 11 stands out to me on that front. I'll delve deeper into a few things I don't want to bloat this post, but just know there's a lot more. Kayle is one of, if not the worst summon unit we've ever had in TFT. The idea behind build your own summon unit is fantastic and I genuinely hope they give this another go, but the execution was suboptimal at best. Sets 3 / 4 / 6 / 10 All had extremely life-like and memorable summons Giant Mech Garen that thrusts down sword into the arena, Giant Galio slamming into the arena and punching units to death, Bears and dragons to buff your team and fight alongside you, and even a Hecarim that gallops onto your board and buffs your team and slashes enemies. Summoned units SHOULD feel, sound, and look impactful, and not act like any unit I could buy from the store. Or else they just end up being a glorified 2 cost. Stats aside (I love stats, but this post isn't about them), my primary aim is to ensure a fun game before delving into statistical analysis. Kayle feels like a filler unit that you mostly just plop in the back and forget about, doesn't do much unless you hit the crazy (mostly unobtainable) 10 Piece trait. Speaking of unobtainable traits. It seems to me the TFT team has come up with this bandage solution of gatekeeping a lot of really fun and exciting moments behind these extremely hard-to-obtain 9-10 Piece traits. We've never had this issue in TFT; why are we now gatekeeping a lot of the exciting moments behind 100+ hours of playtime. You can tone down a lot of the exciting moments, and still keep them accessible, but challenging to obtain. You've done this for the longest time; why fix something that isn't broken. Personally, I think there needs to be a revaluation of what makes a Set engaging and fun, and what players really want to see and play around with for hundreds of hours way before you start delving into the mindset of "How do we add as much divergence, nuance, and novelty". Those roads can meet and intertwine, but they aren't the same road.
2. Items, Augments, and Orbs!: Items - Here's a little brain exercise for everyone, what would happen in TFT if we removed all item components, and strictly dropped only Ornn anvils all game? (Take a minute to think before you click the spoiler!) If you guessed it would ensue chaos, bugs, and a balancing nightmare. OR be a hell of a lot of fun! you'd be correct both ways! (New portal idea!/s) Luckily for us, that isn't the case. However, I do think we've reached a point with items where we're too comfortable with what they wish to achieve on units, and this creates a dynamic where TFT units are always being designed with items in mind, and how the items would make the unit work. Rather than creating fun and engaging units in a vacuum and worrying about the items later. It's a scary prospect to experiment with the tried and true (Think back to Set 7 when they made Rage-wing trait experimenting with units that had a different fuel source than mana, but it was a total miss or when they created the dreaded Shadow items), but it's just food for thought. Just because you didn't get it right once, doesn't mean the idea is flawed, just means you didn't get it right that one time. A time where you definitely did get it right however, is Radiant items Look how those turned out! Some of the most beloved items of all time. This is sort of what they wanted to achieve with the new expansion to the Ornn anvil items, and support items. It's definitely a step in the right direction, but can definitely be explored more.

Augments - Augments really was a happy little accidental shift in TFT's life cycle. They created the perfect concoction of how to add an almost infinite amount of variability to a game that was missing just that. (Which also adds to why Encounters are redundant and frustrating) Since then they've time and time again created really fun and engaging augments each set, that without I'm almost certain TFT wouldn't be as popular as it is. Please keep doing this, this is really good. Another little thought exercise before we continue. What would happen if most of the Encounters were just turned into Augments instead? (Think a little before you click spoiler!) If You guessed it would just create a healthier way of interacting with said encounters. You'd be correct!
If you're trying to create a new set mechanic (encounters) it shouldn't overlap with something that already exists that's just better than the new thing you're trying to create (augments). However, getting back on track. It does feel like things have gotten a little too comfortable in the Augment space, and feels like there hasn't been much room for innovative change. There's an untapped reservoir right in front of you of infinite variability at your disposal. Why aren't you experimenting harder, instead of looking for other means of adding variability that will always be suboptimal to the one you've already created almost 6 Sets ago...?
Soft Sample Examples: A new type of Augment called Radiant Augments that provide a wide range of very strong / borderline insane combinations of items and stats, but the catch is after every player combat if you lose you can choose if you want to swap your Radiant augment with the player you just faced. (Like multiple random hexes of strong stats, or 3 tailored Orrn items / Support items, or given 3 zephyrs and knowing who you're fighting next or given a 2Star-dragon that adopts your top-most trait?!) (The design space is infinite)
Orbs - Lastly, I'd like to talk about Orbs! Orbs are a lot better, good job! That's all I have to say :)!

I really do have a lot more thoughts, and things I'd love to share, but I feel like I've already bloated this post a lot! (Assassins, Higher Cost units than 5, Midsets, system changes, loot management, meta knowledge, Portals etc..)
I've just been really bored playing this set, and that's the reason I've retired from seriously competing or climbing for this one set, and I'm very keen to read what other people have to say about my thoughts, and looking forward to discussing it thank you!

One World: I knew the notoriety of this season going in, but I said to myself what the heck, you can't appreciate the good without the bad. So my thoughts? Has some notable moments, but I kinda get why people hate this season. Very predictable, some very very bad personalities, and half of the casts being zombies really doesn't help this season. Tarzan and Kat were occasionally funny, but other than that, there's very little fun to be had. Chelsea's pretty, I guess?
Philippines: What a bounce back, really good season! Good idea to bring back medivaced returnees, notable enough to draw in fans but not too elite for them to be a target. Matsing was just a train wreck, and Russell was fascinating to watch. Then the post merge was one of the wildest ones I have ever seen! So fluid in gameplay and some great blindsides! Loved Penner all throughout, liked Lisa at the start but just ended up getting annoyed, and Malcolm and Denise were awesome. Lastly, Abi Maria is such great casting. Hope to see more greatness from her in Second Chances.
BvW: Really good! I am a HUGE fan of the Blood vs Water concept, it just makes for compelling tv and very complex gameplay. And add Redemption Island on top of it? This might be one of the most, if not the most complicated seasons of Survivor. And I love it! Loved seeing Tyson transform into a master strategist and made for a satisfying winner. I was really pulling for Tina to win though, that woman is just so charming! Definitely one of my personal favorite winners. All in all a very fun and compelling season.
Next: Cagayan! Or just to be a completionist, finish some of the dark ages seasons before Cagayan?

Looking for either reassurance on my message or advice. For reference- I’ve been taking the kids to school in the mornings this year. We get the kids every other weekend and have them on the weekdays. The oldest child we have full time. I really love the two little ones but from time to time if the oldest is in a bad enough mood she turns them against me. Boyfriend and I have been together for 1 year 3 months and we have a very strong connection and great communication/understanding of each other.

Anyway my message reads as follows… “Ashley is on one this morning. I get it she has a mood disorder but she is extremely disrespectful to me. Then I confront her about it and she acts like she didn't say that but then proceeds to literally talk shit to me in front of the kids. Ashley is really good at making me feel like shit and it's starting to really affect me, no matter how hard I try to coexist and not let her get to me. It's really the disrespect that I'm not going to live with.
Moving forward I will be going back to our old schedule- in the mornings when you leave to work I'll be leaving, and then after you guys have had your family dinner I'll come over to workout with you. The weekends I'll stay as long as you're home.

Hi all,
I'm in the early stages of planning an extended trip to both the Philippines and Indonesia, with diving being the primary focus of my travels. I've done a good amount of research to understand the wide range of desirable diving locations, but my trip is open-ended (no timeline restrictions) and I could use some help in putting together a plan that makes the most sense.
 
About me:

• 29M, American
• AOW certified
• 35 dives split between Thailand, Mexico, and Honduras
• Broadly interested in most/all areas of rec diving (macro, pelagics, wrecks)

 
Only 2 known factors about my trip:

• I want to arrive in the region towards the end of September, say September 24th
• I have a deposit on a 10D/11N liveboard in Raja Ampat on November 2nd

 
A couple of my broad ideas/thoughts:

• Start off in the Philippines and spend 1 month there (end of Sept to end of Oct)
• Spend first 2 weeks in Cebu region where diving is easier and get my dive numbers up. Malapascua, Moalboal, Alona Beach in Bohol, Apo Island
• Spend third week in Puerto Galera
• Spend fourth week in Coron
• Head to Indonesia around October 24th, spend a week in Bali with some diving, then be in Sorong by November 2nd for the RA liveaboard
• After RA liveaboard, my plan is really open-ended… Ambon, Alor, Komodo, Nusa Penida, back to Bali?

 
My areas of concern are:

• Difficulty / experience level - with only 35 dives going into the trip, my idea is to get that number up significantly ahead of the more difficult locations. Namely Puerto Galera, Coron, and Raja Ampat. Guessing roughly, I'll conservatively have ~50 dives by PG, ~60 dives by Coron, and ~75 dives by Raja Ampat. Does this sound appropriate?
• Seasonality - is there any major concerns about diving in the Philippines in late Sept/October? I understand it is the end of rainy season / Typhoon season, so just looking for personal input.
• Time spent in each country / various locations - I am putting a hard cap at 30 days in the Philippines by going there first while having the Nov 2nd RA liveboard, would I regret this? I could supposedly do Indonesia first.
• Internal domestic travel - I understand internal travel can be difficult in these countries and I have not done much research into logistics yet. I of course understand there will be travel days in between locations, and that I should research carefully the timing/reliability of transport. But are there any special concerns I should have given these locations?
• Any other thoughts or advice is welcome!
