Had it for about a month, measurements seemed accurate. Just did a few minutes of a "boxing" workout by punching a punching bag. Didn't even get to sweating, was pretty relaxed aside from my arms, and it said my average heart rate was 159 bpm, which isn't remotely accurate. It said my rate was 166 a few minutes after stopping, and after a manual measurement, it's saying 109, when I can't be above 85. Broken watch or something to do with all the arm movement? Is it just no good for boxing?

I had this thought as I was watching The Great Gatsby last night. I didn't care for the show, but on my way home I did start to wonder if the insanely small seats and non-existent legroom at the Broadway Theatre (which has now taken the top uncomfortable spot from the mezzanine at the Music Box in my personal rankings) negatively impacted my experience. Because as I watched the show and these thoughts were running through my mind, "Gosh this is boring. Another ballad? I am so bored. Where's Jeremy Jordan? Oh, there he is? What is that accent? I don't remember the novel being this bad," they were occasionally interrupted by, "I have no room. I have to keep my arms crossed on my knees to keep my shoulders from touching the people on either side of me, and I can't lean forward because the next row is right there. I'm 5'4" and my knees are practically touching the seat in front of me." Has anyone else experienced something similar?

That’s all it was. A game.
Something my friends and I used to play during the summer when we had nothing better to do. I never expected that it would get so out of hand.
I never expected it to come back long after recovery.
To anyone reading, please don’t do what I did.

On that warm summer evening, we played the role of Pandora.
Except, the monsters we released were far worse than what’s told in stories.
Because stories end.
And this doesn’t.
I still remember the date. July 16, 2013. I was an upcoming senior in high school while the others were getting prepared for their freshman year of college, raving on about their majors, life plans, dorms, you get the point. The summer had been bittersweet as those months would be the last I’d see them for a while. Because of this, Anthony, Lola, Eliza, and I would spend the bulk of our time together going to festivals and various camping trips, trying to make the most out of the summer while we could. On that day, the day I wish I could forget, Eliza had run late to one of our hangouts at my place. This was odd since as an Ivy league student, she was usually early or right on time to these kind of things. Half past three, we heard her knocking on my door rapidly, which was also out of character considering that she was usually the calm one in our group. A bit worried, I hurried down the stairs with Anthony and Lola following close behind, expecting Eliza to be in hysterics due to her frantic behavior. When I opened the door, however, there she was with a bright smile on her face, her red hair getting in the way of her eyes, which were a dark green shade. She pushed her hair out of her face with one hand and held a brown box in the other, and she was bouncing up and down as she usually does when she’s about to talk about something exciting.
“You’ll never believe what I found.” Eliza’s voice could barely hold her impatience as she stepped inside and kicked her shoes off once she crossed over my threshold.
“What’s up with you today?” Anthony questioned, looking more confused than concerned now.
“I’ll show you guys in a minute. Can we go up to your room, Felix?” Eliza looked over at me with her trademark smile, knowing damn well we were all too curious to just leave that box unopened. Without a word, I led the group up to my room and shut the door after everyone had walked in. Anthony took his usual spot on my beanbag and unzipped his hoodie, which had the MSM logo sprawled across the front in big red letters. He adjusted his dark rimmed glasses and took on his usual stoic expression. Lola wore a dark blue FIT shirt, which she revealed more of when she moved her locs over her shoulder as she sat on my desk chair and wheeled over to us. As she did, the various necklaces she wore clinked against each other. Eliza herself was the smartest out of the group, and probably in the whole school as well. She had gotten accepted into multiple prestigious schools, but ultimately settled for Harvard to pursue a degree in some obscure philanthropic career. Unlike Anthony and Lola, Eliza wore her regular outfit –usually a white tank top and jeans– and sat on my bed with the box in her lap. I took a seat next to her to get a closer look.
“So what’d you find?” The others moved closer.
“Something we probably haven’t thought about for a really long time. Do you guys remember that one game we used to play in middle school? The one we made after Felix joined our class?” Eliza looked at our puzzled faces to see if we had connected the dots, but her clue didn’t seem to strike any of us with familiarity.
“After Felix joined? Didn’t we just hang out or something that weekend?” Anthony questioned.
“We did, but there was something else,” Eliza raised an eyebrow, “you guys seriously don’t remember?”
At that moment, I saw Lola’s eyes light up and a thin smile grew on her lips, something she always did whenever she was able to figure something out.
“You mean that little map game we played? Where we would go out to the woods and explore?”
Both Anthony and I seemed to have remembered as well with the mention of a ‘map game.’ I chimed in, “ yeah I remember! Every once in a while when we were all bored, we’d pick a random spot on a map to go to and explore there for a bit, right? When did we stop doing that anyways? I remember really enjoying it.”
“Well life happens,” Eliza responded to me, “but I was thinking of things to do for the rest of the summer when I suddenly remembered that game! That’s why I was so late for our meetup today, I was looking through my attic for this.” Eliza shook the box slightly and a couple things clattered around inside.
“There’s no way.” Anthony sounded like he was in disbelief.
“You mean…?” Lola sat forward in the chair. Eliza smirked, her adventurous nature creeping out as realization swept over us like a wave.
“Mhm! I found the map we used to use as well as the things we collected from our little escapades.” With that, Eliza opened the box, revealing a folded piece of paper and various trinkets scattered over the bottom of the capsule. Lola squealed with excitement and immediately snatched the box from Eliza, who simply chuckled and leaned back on the bed.
“No way! Everything’s still in here!” Lola digged through the box and placed whatever objects she found across the blanket. Anthony got up and sat at the foot of my bed, to observe our findings more closely. There was a piece of some clay pottery, some rusty springs and scraps of metal, an old digital camera, and some other random stuff I can’t recall to memory right now. Anthony picked up a spring and turned it in his palm.
“Shit man, this is from that abandoned junkyard we found in 8th grade…that feels like such a long time ago now.”
I examined the piece of pottery with Eliza looking over my shoulder. Lola picked up the digital camera.
“Do you remember where this came from?” I turned to Eliza and held up my discovery.
“No clue,” she shrugged. It must have been a while ago if even she didn’t remember. I turned the piece over and grew curious when I saw weird symbols inscribed on the inside of it. I squinted a bit, trying to discern some sort of pattern within the scribbles.
I turned to Eliza again, “hey, what do you think-”
“OH MY GOD GUYS IT STILL WORKS!” Lola’s voice went up a whole octave as she motioned to us.
The rest of us looked up as she turned the camera to face us. There were various photos we went through. All of us at lakes, museums, exploring the woods; everything we did from 7th grade until my freshman year seemed to be documented. The last photo was arguable the best and msot bittersweet. It was a picture of the whole group from a while ago. We were sitting at Eliza’s dinner table with a giant chocolate cake on the middle of it adorned with two candles shaped like the numbers one and five. Eliza was talking to me in the photo. Her hair was even more red at the time and she wore it in a braid. I looked about the same in the photo as I did then, with light brown hair, blue eyes, and freckles scattered all over my body and face. I was smiling sheepishly at Eliza. I now knew why Anthony said it was obvious I had a crush on her in 8th grade. Lola went through the most changes out of all of us. At the time in the photo, she had her hair straightened and side-swept, with a bright pink streak in her bangs. She wore clunky jewlery and a frilly skirt underneath a long tank top, leaning over the table to cut another slice of cake. All of us had birthday hats on except for Anthony, who kept his sitting on the table. He held up a peace sign staring straight into the camera with a stoic expression. He looked like a statue compared to the rest of us, who were laughing and smiling. You could tell he was having fun, though.
“Well don’t you look like a ray of sunshine,” Lola snickered as Anthony shot her a dirty look.
“At least I didn’t go through some weird scene phase in freshman year,” He smiled and watched Lola’s face, knowing she was blushing despite her dark skin which made it practically invisible. I let a laugh slip out, but quickly stifled it knowing that if I kept going it would mean death. Lola side-eyed me and continued, “I was using my creative liberty to experiment with my options as an artist,” she said with an overly-posh accent that made Eliza laugh.
“Yeah Anthony, don’t be such a downer,” Eliza teased. Anthony simply rolled his eyes and suppressed a smile to pretend like he was mad at all of us. He looked into the box and picked up the paper we left, unfolding it with a hint of excitement and curiosity. When he looked at it, only two words came out of his mouth.
“Holy shit.”
“What, what is it?” Lola tried to look at the other side of the paper, but Anthony quickly held it out of her view.
“What if I didn’t want to show you?” A smile crept onto his face. This was one of those rare moments where he’d be in the moos to joke around with us.
“Don’t be a dick bro,” I said, laughing as I went to grab for the paper. Anthony just held it up in the air and pushed me off of him and I landed on my floor. While he was distracted, though, Eliza took her chance and snatched the paper right out of his hand.
“You boys need to learn to be nice,” she warned in her jokingly stern voice as she unfolded the paper and spread it out onto my bed. We all leaned over to look.
It was a map of a couple towns including ours. There were around ten small star stickers placed on different areas on the map near the streets the four of us lived in. On the top of the map, a couple words were scrawled in black sharpie; “Pick a Place!” I could see everyone’s faces light up.
“Oh my god it’s our map!” Lola shouted and pointed to one of the stars near her street, “this was where we found that old junkyard right?”
Eliza smiled, “I remember that. It feels like such a long time ago now.” She pointed to another star, “and this is where we found that lake we made a hideout of. I still remember swimming in there in 8th grade…”
The four of us reminisced for a while, talking about where we had gone and what we did there, and how impressive it was that we didn’t get tetanus from that junkyard. After nearly an hour of conversation, Eliza asked something that made all of us stop.
“So how about it guys? Do you want to do one last round before the summer ends?”
The rest of us looked around at each other. It was clear we all wanted to do it. Eliza seemed to catch on and she nodded.
“Who wants to pick where we go?”
“How about you do the honors?” Lola suggested, motioning towards the map. “You’re the one that brought this stuff in anyways.”
Eliza raised her eyebrow but didn’t object. Without a word, she examined the map for a few minutes, then placed her finger on one spot a bit far from my house.
“How about here?”
“You think we can make it that far?” Anthony asked.
“Well, we can drive now so why not?”
“You sure there’s some type of trail we can drive on? That spot looks pretty deep in the woods”
“We can find a path to drive on for a bit then walk the rest of the way. C’mon guys, this is probably our last chance to do something like this! Felix, you can drive right?”
Eliza and the rest turned to me with a hopeful expression. I had to comply.
“Sure. No big deal, right?”
All three of them cheered and high fived each other, looking pretty excited to go on one last adventure.
“So when do we leave?” I questioned.
Eliza flashed that smile again, “right now.”
“Right now?!”
“Hell yeah,” Lola chimed in. “It shouldn’t take that long, right?”
“I guess…” Even then I felt uneasy about the whole thing. I didn’t feel prepared enough to go on some random trip into the woods. I needed to pack food, water, flashlights, I had no idea how long this was going to take. Little did I know that those things would be the least of my worries a couple hours from then. I wish I could go back and convince my 17-year-old self that it wasn’t worth it, that I should just convince my friends to stay and talk for the rest of the day. I wish Eliza had never remembered that stupid game. In a way, I’m almost mad at her for what happened, but I know it wasn’t anyones fault. We just wanted to have fun. I wish we could’ve just had fun. But God had a different plan for us. One that made me think Satan himself devised it instead. On July 16, 2013, Anthony He, Lola Smith, Eliza Landserson, and Felix Johanson went on an adventure that none of them were ready for.

Would hate to make a decision based on new light, then suffer consequences, then be told it was my own fault when the new light was changed again. Lots of people died from refusing organ transplants and lots of brothers went to prison when they didn’t need to.
I trust Bible words over Bible principles. Bible words don’t change. Bible principles say beards are bad and also says they’re good. It’s too confusing. I’ll just stick with with the Bible says. Hard to know for sure what music or dancing or medicine God hates. He probably doesn’t hate a lot of stuff we’re told he does.

Geoffrey Jackson said JWs weren’t god’s spokesperson right in in court, which was surprising. I’d think he would use that opportunity to give a bold witness. The WT lawyer in Canada said family relations continue normally when someone is Daft and they don’t shun. Brother elder in noweigh said JWs don’t DF minors and that JWs don’t shun. The next days they showed a video instructing the congregations how to shun and how thorough it should be. I don’t think the lawyers care about stopping the preaching. They just don’t want kids being shunned. It wasn’t a good look seeing away lawyers say we don’t shun at all and then seeing a video by the organization showing that shunning needs to be absolute.

My brother got me to watch the Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk fight tonight. First time I've ever seen boxing and it was AMAZING, I LOVED it. Now I'm keen to watch more. Does anyone know any place in Cambridge/surrounding areas that have boxing or MMA fights? Keen to watch live, in-person rather than on the telly!

Clearly what we're doing now is not working. Criminals know there are no real consequences for any crime except mass murder and speeding. With any other crime the criminal is treated as a victim.
Extremely harsh sentences do stop crime. The countries with the least crime are countries such as Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Singapore. This is because the people know they actually cannot commit a crime and get away with it. There are real consequences for their actions.
We should implement a very simple act which mandates capital punishment for crimes such as:

• repeat theft
• repeat burglary
• repeat sexual assault
• repeat assault
• manufacture or distribution of highly addictive and harmful drugs

No cultural reports, no discounts, no confusion. If you ram raid, you will die, guaranteed. I guarantee that serious crime will go to zero immediately. Imagine how much safer our communities would be!
Arguments against:
But capital punishment is more expensive than prison: Yes but there will be far, far, far (almost none) serious crimes committed. The cost savings will be enormous. Prisons can be freed up into rehabilitation centres for people who commit less severe crimes and can be helped.
But it's mean to the poor criminals, we want to foster kindness: This argument really pisses me off. Have you considered the actual victims? It is not kind at all to allow these horrible things to happen to innocent people constantly. Also this would actually stop people from becoming criminals and stop many people from spending their lives in jail. It's kinder to everyone. It is kind.
The point isn't to end the lives of criminals, it's to tell the criminals that serious crimes are no longer accepted. There are real consequences to consider.

Am Apple Watch troglodyte delving in a little. Is it at least reasonable for $600 or are we exclusively paying the style tax? I see it get memed on for being inaccurate for the price, dials/compass not lined up, general QC issues, I don’t particularly prefer the cyclops, I’d ditch the strap for a nato.
Aesthetically it ticks all my boxes, but the price would absolutely be balling out for me and I’d lie to others about its cost lol. Would be nice if it’s generally a respectable piece of horology and not just a pretty face.

Sorry for the long post, there's a TLDR at the bottom, just thought i'd put all the details out there.
The bike is a 1986 Yamaha YX600, a slightly odd 'mutt' bike. Bought it a bit ago. It ran when stored, but it was stored for a good while. The dude was super cool so I trusted it, and hey it was $900 for basically a complete bike+helmet+original owners manual+$150 motorcycle ramp, and just a random box of extra small parts.
I bought an original ECU to just keep it simple, I bought original gauge cluster (unfortunately don't remember entirely since it's been a while, but a modern aftermarket gauge cluster would not work, so I had to go with OEM.) Thankfully Ebay was a savior, there were not many parts for this bike and I should have done more research, but fortunately I found one seller that exclusively sells a bunch of parts for it.
After all was said and done it ran, just not very well. Then one day I noticed it was kinda running hot, I somewhat chocked it up to just being super hot outisde, but then noticed some smoke coming out of the crankcase after parking somewhere to check. It was definitely having trouble. Then it just simply wouldn't start up. Got super worried but after letting it cool down for an hour it was alright to start, and just got home quickly.
I went out after a bit and started it to check what was going on, I had a temp gun and noticed cylinder 3 was sitting at a cool 600-700 degrees, while the others were like 300-350. Go figure, it's a 4 cylinder bike with a 4-carb rack. One for each cylinder because... Dunno. The entire thing is such a PITA to take apart but I was determined.
Rebuilt it and cleaned the entire thing 3-4 times, but for some reason Cylinder 3 was running completely lean and I could not figure it out for so long. Then one time when taking it apart again, I noticed that the brass float valve would not seat properly in carb 3, it was like a mm or two high, causing the float needle to have ever so less clearance, jamming the needle up into the float valve when fuel would flow in, sealing the fuel hole entirely until it sucked whatever fuel it could from the bowl. No matter how I bent the prongs of the float, I couldn't get it to seat correctly.
I never understood this, I took it apart and every single time would switch the brass float valve, I had like 3 different kits to grab from, they were all the exact same size and float valve. Look down into the hole that the valve seats in, across all 4 carbs it was the exact same with zero difference, the hole was clean and smooth, so there was no visual reason it wouldn't fit! It irritated me so much that after the fourth time putting it back together and testing it, watching it either dump fuel out or get zero fuel to the bowl after a second, I just put the bike in storage.
I wanted to fix it, but could not figure out how, and nowhere had any information since getting info on the bike in the first place was super rough. I could either try to sand and polish the hole, or even sand down the valve and risk ruining something, or try to buy a whole new carb rack. The issue was that nobody was selling the carb set anywhere, I saw it once on Ebay but it was gone within like a day and was like $500 and didn't see another at any point.
And now time has gotten away from me quite a bit. Don't really have the time or space to work on it, and at this point I am contemplating even attempting to sell a broken bike, or just storing it until I can get to it someday and just try to figure out if any other aftermarket carbs will work for it.
TLDR: Don't have much time anymore, but i've been told the bike is rare in the sense of not too many people really owning one since it's a mutt bike, and the carb is a PITA with one of the four carbs running dangerously lean with a simple surface level issue that I can't solve after rebuilding it 4 times (Brass float valve wont seat all the way for some reason, causing the needle to get stuck in the hole and not allow fuel to flow in until the bowl empties and it gets a brief burst of fuel), and at this point it seems like my only option would be to buy a new carb rack or the specific carb and hope it's in okay condition if I could ever find one that's oem and doesn't cost half what I paid for the bike or isn't destroyed, find an aftermarket one that actually works, try to even attempt to sell it again later on (tried, no luck) or when I finally get time try to fix it and just continue to keep it in storage.

So I am trying to do a reversal graph for class and I am watching a tutorial for the downloaded version of excel and by far is it easier to graph. Why is the windowed version do different and harder to use? Like I managed to emulate the download version to an extend but when I tried to draw lines for the data it didn't work exactly right and it isn't staying on the graph, instead it is on the data sheet for some reason. Same thing goes with adding text boxes. Lastly some things just aren't there like I can't copy the graph and take the lines or text boxes with said graph and the option to remove the boarder of the graph just isn't there.

The title makes me sound like a fucking loser and there will be many things that don’t make sense here due to me being horrible at explaining things but idc anymore i just need to get this out somewhere other than my notes page forever looking over it. I was heavily drinking in cambodia with friends very very late at night when no other drinkers were about (to watch a boxing match that was playing at 5am) and one of my friends i was with decided to ask the bar manager to call in some women. At this point i was sober enough to not care and kept playing pool. So after multiple women come and go eventually two women arrive at around 4am just as soon as i stopped playing pool and sat down. The woman who sat next to me was 23 years old and was very nervous at first until she eventually grabbed my hand and started rubbing my genitals. I in my now drunken state asked her to go to the toilet for what i drunkenly imagined casual oral sex but we were followed in by the bar staff as it was so late at night and obviously knew what we was up to. I became uninterested after i sat back down but my fucktard friend said to me “why don’t you go back to the hotel with your friend”. In which I ignorantly drunkenly said yes sure. So now im by myself with this woman i just met driving in the same tutut (motorcycle taxi cabin thingy) heading back to my hotel room. We get into my room she grabs me by the genitals and says 60 dollar which i give her as i was drunk and horny and had plenty of money on me. The experience was awful and i kept saying in my head whilst doing it what am i doing, but at that time i also felt i coudnt stop because one i had already paid and two and three i was drunk and horny. Anyway after a good 20ish minutes of doing it with her i eventually came and literally instant regret hit me even though i was still drunk asf.
