I never thought I'd write this post. I'm a HUGE fan of GPT, I was an early adopter, as soon as 3.5 came out I was using it heavily within days. I had it writing scripts for me and helping me code in my personal projects. Once GPT-4 came out, I realized I had a tool powerful enough to help me build a real world application. And so I did, outsourcing only the visual design, being really poor at that myself. With prompting, I build an entire application, as I've written about elsewhere.
But finally it failed me. I had just added, with prompting of course, an exciting new feature - voice integration. The app is basically an AI Therapist, and while early feedback was positive, I knew it lacked that. So as soon as enough people verified and confirmed the product as being useful, I set out to implement my roadmap, and the very first feature was voice, allowing users to talk with the AI Therapist and hear it's responses in a human quality voice (using OpenAI's TTS model). It's not perfect, and I actually don't really like it, but I felt like I had to just get it out there and perfect it later, since perfect may never come (feel free to give feedback, even bash it, I welcome all feedback, especially the negative - https://therapywithai.com).
BUT after I released I realized I had done something that to me was annoying. Every time you wanted to say something, you'd have to click the microphone button, instead of the app simply listening the entire time, and the microphone button simply being a toggle for it to be in listening mode or not. I tried prompting GPT to refactor my code, to no avail. I tried dumping my entire .jsx file, I tried snipping just the relevant parts. I tried cajoling it, giving it positive reinforcement, which apparently helps. I tried telling it to break it down into steps. I tried following its code, feeding back the error, and on and on, and it simply did not solve it.
Now I'm stuck trying to sort it out, but I'll get there. The voice integration works, and I think is ok, but it's not easy seeing your God fall from grace, and fail you in your time of need.

Prior to the Weekend 1 update, the entirety of FNF (assets and code) was licensed under the Apache 2.0 permissive license. The general gist of the Apache license is "you can use our stuff but you gotta give proper credit" (it's obviously a bit more complex than that). This permissive license allowed the modding scene to explode since mod makers were given permission to create any derivative works they wanted using the FNF assets.
However, this has also led to bad actors creating for-profit bootlegs that still could technically comply with the license, with the biggest offenders seeming to be unofficial Roblox games. As a result, the FNF team has stated that that the license for FNF would be changed going forward to prevent this.
With the release of Weekend 1 update, this change has been put into place. The FNF source has basically been split into separate repositories. The code for the game engine itself remains unchanged under the Apache 2.0 license. But assets/art have been placed into separate repositories with their own license, or rather with no license. All of the game's assets (art, music, sound effects, even the charting for some reason) are proprietary, with copyright and trademark enforcement specifically stated.
With this new licensing, mod creators cannot include any of the base game assets without committing copyright/trademark violations. This includes BF/GF/Pico/etc character sprites, the vanilla FNF noteskin, any vanilla FNF stage background, the FNF alphabet sprites, etc.
Furthermore, copyright enforcement also means you cannot be compliant if you include any derivative works based on the game assets. Or in other words, you cannot create/distribute anything based on a preexisting FNF asset without it being illegal. For example, including any vanilla FNF character in your mod whatsoever would violate the license. Even if you draw entirely new sprites of BF, the new sprites would be considered derivative works of the original BF (and no, creating B-side/C-side/D-side/Æ-side versions of BF doesn't bypass this) and thus would be a license violation. You also risk violations by including remixes of vanilla FNF songs in your mod for the same reason. Even if you made an original song, you could still be violating the license if you include BF's voice.
What this means is that going forward, mod creators cannot have their mods be compliant with the FNF license while including any assets taken from or based on what already exists in FNF. Everything in the mod would need to be 100% original to be compliant. Original music, original characters, original backgrounds, original UI, etc.
On a side note, this also means that any FNF video content online (such as on YouTube or Twitch) henceforth also risks copyright/trademark violations. This includes streams, reaction videos, gameplay videos, remixes, and fan animations. These types of videos would all be copyright/trademark violations due to distributing FNF intellectual property without permission.
Interestingly, it seems that the original plan was to have the assets use a modified version of the Apache 2.0 license, one that would only permit non-commercial use. This would've made it legal (i.e. compliant with the license) to make stuff like mods. But that seems to have been dropped at some point.
Realistically, the FNF team most likely won't persecute mods and fan videos even though they're technically illegal (they'll probably go after for-profit stuff though). I don't think they've changed their personal stance on mods (which is that they like mods), only their legal stance. But this does mean that for example, you can't put your FNF work in your portfolio since they're technically unauthorized works now. Also, since most types of mods are not legally allowed, this probably also means that the FNF team won't be setting up an official mod portal/site for FNF. So we're gonna keep using GameBanana, I guess.
That being said, this creates a grey area for stuff like putting ads on FNF gameplay videos or taking comissions to make FNF songs/sprites. I am unsure what the FNF team's stance is on something like this, whether they would choose to take legal action against this kind of behavior or not. To be on the safe side, I would suggest not putting ads on any videos involving FNF, and not taking/paying comissions for FNF mod assets (unless the assets created comply with the FNF licenses, i.e. are 100% original).

Prologue

Hello and welcome to my post. I will subdivide this into two large parts. One will cover my thoughts, feelings, my hopes and dreams...While the other will tell you the specifics of how I pass the time, what topics interest me, what passions do I posses. I believe that at the end of this leap into my inner world, you dear reader, will have all the necessary information to judge whether we are compatible or not.

Part I
I am writing this in the hopes of finding something that I lack. Lately I have had this feeling, this tinge of melancholy within the dephts of my being, this yearning to find a kindred spirit, another Soul, much like mine, to form a bond with. Perhaps Loneliness is the right word for what is bothering me, but to use it seems to carry with it a connotation of ungratefulness. Ungratefulness for the people that I do have in my life, although none of them, of course, have the connection to me that I seek here.

I have found it increasingly necessary to seek in this Life a sort of purity of thought. What I mean is, I have began to undestand what ideas and concepts are ultimately compatible with my inner most Self, ergo what guidelines I have to follow to feel the most whole. Naturally I have likewise realised what I cannot add to my Self and what I will henceforth reject with all the power that I posses.

With this new context in mind, I now follow on the path of self improvement. I will now begin to mold my Self into my perfected idea of how the Self should be. This is certainly a significant undertaking, one that will not be easy to follow through on but one that I ultimately have to do. To me such context is essential. It is akin to a Guiding Star shining in the night. I will follow this Star for without it I am lost in the vast Darkness.

Looking back at my life, it was suboptimal, especially if one compares the way it molded me to how I will now mold myself. I suppose I must look on with a hint of regret at all that time which one might consider to be lost. Still... I try to stave off such decisively negative interpretations, after all, I have ultimately came to these conclusions. That means that somewhere along the line I had to have picked up on enough of such ideas for them to become so cemented in my consciousness. Well, either that or I was always like this, but in that case I can at least thank my life up to this point for not being able to supress such manifestations of my inner most Self.

To add to the topic of my life, I must admit that not all the battles have yet been won, not all the Demons vanquished, not every Mountain climbed. I want you to keep such things in mind when deciding whether or not to approach me. Many will shy away, I undestand that much, but the pursuit of true Companionship is just another such battle. Having said all that I do believe that being able to overcome hurdles together carries with it a certain appeal. That is to say, what's the fun in joining once the Game is already over?

I don't shy away from such challenges, perhaps to a fault. Certain troubles that I faced in the past carry with them a long shadow over my current health and well being. Still, I intend to change little in this regard other than the proficiency with which I will clash the current of my Will against the cliffs of Life.
Part II
In this part of my post I will tell you about my interests and hobbies, I will try to be thorough, commonality in this regard is rather important to build a relationship
History. I have had an interest in history for almost a decade now, it started back in school and developed from there. Well, now that I think about it one could argue that it started even earlier in my life as I liked watching the odd historic documentary or film aired on television but it wasn't regular back then, I never actively sought it out. I am mostly interested in European history in the period between the 18th-20th century but I sometimes branch out to other time periods and other parts of the world. I watch various channels related to history and read articles and sometimes books. I have recently got a few books on the German revolution of 1848/1849 and a historical magazine on the Thirty Years' War. Besides that I try to visit museums sometimes.
Literature. Especially old novels. I like to immerse myself in the Worlds of these books, I tend to read them while listening to thematically fitting music and take my time with them. One time you are following a troubled Youth in his quest for spiritual understanding of the world, another you see the aged and decrepit Doctor gambling his very Soul on the promises of abtaining satisfaction in earthy pleasures, then again your olfaction notices the most pleasant scent known to man even as the one eminating it has the appearance of a revolting Frog. These and many other stories open up to you once you decide to set foot into the literary World.
Languages. I know three, with one being a bit rusty. I am currently working intently on strengthening it. I believe that if I continue to apply myself in this regard then I should be able to finally conquer it. What language am I working on? Well, if you were to stack all the major works in it they would be as tall as a house... It is fun to go through different works in multiple languages, the same goes for film, games and such.
Games. I recently played Cyberpunk 2077. Well as recently as I played any major story centric game. Now that the dust has settled and the bugs mostly removed...It's not that bad. The main questline at least. Besides that I tried Fallout 76 (Very average, I'm dissapointed with what they made the "RPG" system) and I might give Deus Ex Manking Divided another spin (since it's somewhat similar to Cyberpunk when it comes to its aesthetics). Dark Souls is one of my favorite series, I still haven't beaten Elden Ring though. When it came out I wasn't in the right mindset to invest a hundred hours into it, with all those bosses and difficult locations. I think I'll only consider playing it if I am streaming it to someone. I am generally interested in either streaming games or having the person I am talking to stream them to me. To be specific I mean streaming to a single person while being on call. Besides that I'm a big fan of Paradox strategy games, especially Europa Universalis IV and Heats of Iron IV, I tend to only play single player since I find multiplayer with many people to be rather stressful but on the other hand I have nothing against a co-op game. I'm not the best player though, despite the ammount of hours I have in them. Another great game I would mention would be Dragon's Dogma. A very underrated RPG. I recently beat it again and it was an atmospheric and interesting experience. It is one of those games that feel like they have an endless ammount of depth and constant new secrets to discover.
Anime and Manga. In recent times my interest in them has waned but I still watch the occasional series here and there. Like Cyberpunk Edgerunners (Which I found to be rather mediocre) and the very good first season from the new arc of Bleach. Some of my favourite series include: Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Death Note, Fate;Zero, Psycho Pass, Code Geass and Attack on Titan. I wouldn't mind if you were to introduce me to some new series, maybe based on the ones I mentioned. My favourite Manga is Berserk which I still follow, althought I am still not certain on the direction that the new author is taking. I suppose it really is a matter of contention whether a somewhat (or considerably warped) vision is better than an unfinished work. One could argue that a few novels remain unfinished and possess a macabre appeal to them as such.
Music. Classical music has a very special place in my heart. A few of my favourite pieces would be: Clair de Lune, Nocturne Op. 9 No.2, Devil's Trill Sonata, Danse Macabre, Valse Sentimentale, Symphony No. 7 in A Major, Op. 92: II. Alegreto (by Beethoven) and Suite from Swan Lake, Op. 20a: I. Scene. Moderato. There are more but these ones always invoke something in me when I listen to them. Besides Classical I also enjoy listening to Synthwave, old Western pop and J-pop, both modern and from the 20th century.
Esotericism. I am interested in things spiritual, mystical, magical and esoteric. I have read religios texts, magical grimoires, introductions to various schools of thought. It is interesting to me.
Epilogue
Hopefully I was able to cast the spotlight upon my inner World in a clear and unequivocal manner. I feel the need to add to the aforementioned that I am rather introverted, which means that I tend to dislike large social gatherings. I managed to condition myself to be able to endure the presense of large groups of people but it isn't something that I would seek out in most cases. Besides that I am neurodivergent and suffer from certain issues with mental health. I have to take medication to keep myself under control. They work well enough but certain days are harder than others. I respect the struggle that others have with mental health but in the context of a relationship I have my limits, no one with BDP for instance. I am also not looking for anything casual. I understand than one cannot demand depth and meaning from a conversation with an absolute stranger, that is akin to trying to build a sand castle right before the waves strike but I ask at least that you enter with a mindset that this might become something of significance. I also do want to say that I am completely Monogamous. My preference? The sickly, pale, intellectual who watches rain droplets slide down the window in Autumn. Lastly, if I enjoy the company of a person I tend to not want to let them go.

I have a dual head, ceiling cassetes, mini-split that has been working fine until recently.
First I noticed condensation dripping from one of the inside heads. Not both.
Today I get a EH 30 code on the one that's been dripping. This code means the fan isn't turning.
Looked inside, I see the coils are icing up.
The other unit is just fine. Blowing nice cold air. No ice.
These two run off of one outside heat pump unit.
Makes no sense. A diagram I found shows both I side units use the same freon.

I've pretty much completed my budget multitasking desktop (for heavy coding w/ background videos, applications, and massive browser sessions). BTW I welcome any critiques of the build in addition to my specific question below.
I want my build to upgradable in a few years (thus the AM5 MB), and I expect the first thing I'll want is another 2x16gb of memory. So I went to my MBs QVL sheet and found exactly 1 module that works well as a 4 slot and fits my needs. However, it isn't showing up on pcpartpicker. I'm concerned that it may not be compatible for reasons that elude my noob brain.

I'm over budget already so I'd like to keep the ram around $100. $120+ will hurt a bit if it's required, but still I'd rather pay that than end up screwed in 9-12 months when I'm ready to beef it up.
I guess I assume that pcpartpicker is fairly exhaustive, and it's not like this module is super obscure, so not finding it listed is sending up major red flags. Has anyone experienced this? I'm nervous because I haven't built a PC in 15 years. Any help is much appreciated!

Advice needed. Bought tickets to the LA Sparks v. Indiana Fever game 2 months ago. Good seats in the 110 section at Walter Pyramid Arena in Long Beach. due to the Caitlin Clark effect, they moved the venue to Crypto.com. While delighted for the sport, my new seats are literally, nearly the worst in the arena. Section 331. New seats moved to the AXS ticketing. StubHub rep on the phone reiterated the fan guarantee about equal or better seats. Emailed me a form to provide the backup documentation of the unacceptable seat move. They responded by saying there was nothing they could do because of the arena change, and that I could resell the seats back on StubHub, which was kinda funny when you think about it, given they’re going for $59 versus the $264 I paid.

Host XS: You've been streaming full time for a long while now; how does it feel to return to pro play? Has it been a smooth transition?
Shy: It's been a little difficult to adjust. Playing OW professionally again, I feel like my attitude towards the game is a bit different.
Mmonk: About the same.
Host XS: (laughing) You have such a talent for interviews. (Mmonk's post-game interview answers during OWL were notoriously brief and awkward.).
Host MZ: How well would you say you've shaken off the rust?
Shy: We're returning...we've scrimmed for a few days, and I feel like we've been improving day by day. (Note: Leave leaked a screen a few days back showing something like a 1-11 record in custom games).
Host MZ: What about Mmonk?
Mmonk: (ducking away from the mic) Um, we're maybe back to 50%.
Host MZ: Okay, what about a simpler question. Now that you're back, have you guys set a goal for yourselves?
Shy: Umm...I'm not setting a big ambitious goal, I don't want to jinx us. I think I'm just trying to focus on succeeding in head-to-heads.
Mmonk: I think just beating the top two teams once. (I think that's what he meant? Otherwise it sounds like he's saying just playing the top two teams, which seems TOO unambitious).
Host XS: Have you missed the feeling of being back in a training environment?
Shy: Honestly, it's been a tiny bit hard to get used to it again. At home, I can start playing as soon as I sleep...(pauses, visibly rewinds) I mean, I can start playing as soon as I wake, then sleep when I'm done playing. Here, the schedule is very rigid. It's a bit nostalgic, makes me think of my school days.
Mmonk: I really missed this kind of lifestyle. Being a full-time streamer for me is torture.
Host XS: (Laughing) Okay okay, last question. You have a new coach now, it's your first time working with Rush. How has it felt working with him over the past few days?
Shy: He's awesome. Just wait till you see the results.
Mmonk: Rush is a very serious person. He'll point out any flaws.

Host XS: How does it feel? Now that you're back to communal living, do you have to keep ordering takeout? (Note: Lengsa revealed in the past that he's accomplished at ordering super super cheap takeout, it's become a bit of a meme in CNOW circles).
Lengsa: The good thing about communal living is that I don't have to get takeout! I can go out with the others for meals and eat a bit more.
Host MZ: So how does it feel for you to go from full-time streaming back to the lifestyle of a professional player?
Lengsa: It feels like freedom.
Host XS: How does it feel to work with a mixture of old and new staff? Have you gotten used to having a new coach yet?
Lengsa: Um...(strokes chin) I share a room with the new coach, so we're still getting used to each other.
Hosts: You share a room??
Lengsa: Yep.
Host XS: Is it easy to communicate?
Lengsa: We give our translation apps a good workout.
Host XS: I remember when we were talking last time over dinner, I asked how you guys were doing, and you said you couldn't even beat the last place Korean team. Now that you've had a few days of training under your belt, do you feel like you're getting back in the groove?
Lengsa: Now we're playing the top few teams.
Hosts: Oooohhh.
Host XS: Okay, let's do a quick pop quiz. Please introduce yourself.
Lengsa: Hi everyone, I'm Lengsa from Hang--Team OA.
Host MZ: Three players, and not a single one has gotten that out smoothly.

Creed: Uh, I'm...(thinking) Creed from Team OA.
Hosts: (Laughing) Not a single one.
Host MZ: We're very happy to see you back. How do you feel about the team? Now that you're back, have things changed at all?
Creed: I don't think so. Feels like it did during the HZ Spark playoffs.
Host MZ: So what are your hopes for this new team?
Creed: Hopes? To make another run, I guess.
Host XS: You received an invitation to join this team. How did you feel when the invite came?
Creed: "Finally!"
Host MZ: The players haven't played professionally in a really long time. As a coach, how do you feel like you can help them?
Creed: I think just scrimming as usual is sufficient. We've been scrimming the past few days and I feel like they're recovering pretty well.
Host XS: My last question is about how you feel. I know that you must have felt regret that you couldn't be with the team during the last OW World Cup. Now that you've returned, do you feel like it's a chance to make up for that regret?
Creed: Well, about the World Cup, you know I had COVID at the time. And honestly, after the playoffs, I was very tired and needed some rest. But after resting I did regret that I wasn't able to go with them. This time I feel like I need to grab every opportunity.
Creed: I'm especially thankful to Yaoxie. Rush and I were both recommended by Yaoxie. Originally it was supposed to be the three of us coaching, but he couldn't make it here for personal reasons. I hope that once he takes care of those issues he can join us. If he has the time, he's gotta come! I miss him, I want to keep working with him.
RUSH
Rush: Ni hao. (waves)
Host XS: We've gathered a lot of questions from the fans and chosen a few of them to ask Coach Rush.
Host MZ: First question -- as your first time coming to China and coaching a full Chinese team, how did you feel when you received the invitation?
Rush: This actually isn't the first time I've coached a full Chinese team. (Rush used to coach Team 1246) Because I've already had that experience, this hasn't been that much of a change. The players are also all players I'm very familiar with. Because the players are all very good, I'm also very happy and content.
Host XS: My question is about something behind-the-scenes--when Coach Rush joined our first meeting, Guxue asked if you could bring some ramen over from Korea. May I ask Coach Rush if you can show us what types of ramen you brought?
Rush: I really brought a big trunk of ramen and snacks over from Korea! I asked what kinds of ramen they didn't have in China and I brought a lot over. Mainly turkey ramen.
Host MZ: Here's my next question for Rush. There are a lot of strong teams in the Asia region, and among them there are a lot of your old opponents like Moon and Crusty. Do you feel a lot of pressure facing them?
Rush: Since Overwatch isn't a game that sees a lot of changes even if you've set it aside for awhile, that's not a huge problem. Because we still have a good amount of time, if we start training really hard now, I feel like we can win, whether it's against Team Falcons or Crazy Raccoon.
Host XS: Moon said recently that he really wished he could have coached 2023's Team China. That said, it's Coach Rush who's getting that chance. Do you have anything you want to say to Coach Moon?
Rush: Um...not really. Coach Moon was in China for a long time, and it's natural that he'd want to try different things. I've also coached overseas and worked with players of other nationalities before. New challenges are always enjoyable. I'm sure if he has a chance he'll also work with other Chinese teams and players. If we face each other again with all-new teams that'll probably be fun. Coach Moon is currently with Korean players on a Japanese team, which might seem a bit odd, but if we meet, we'll still take them down no problem.
Host XS: Anything else you want to say to your fans?
Rush: When I came to China last time, not a lot of people knew about me, and I probably didn't have any fans. Now people probably know me a little bit, and I might have some fans? I'd like to say to them: thank you for your support, and please keep supporting our team. We'll work hard to bring you good news and good results.

Host XS: Going from being a streamer to being a professional player again, how have you dealt with this sudden change in status? Has it been an easy transition? What's been the most difficult adjustment?
Leave: The in-game part's been pretty good. If I needed to choose something that was difficult to adjust to, I'd say it's the lifestyle and sleep schedule. Because we have two-person rooms...yep, this is my roommate, let me introduce him (points to Guxue), we sleep in the same room. Everyone's sleep schedule and habits and whether or not they snore are very different.
Hosts + Guxue: (Laughing, since Guxue & Leave have been playing up an adversarial relationship on stream the past few months.)
Host MZ: Leave, are you satisfied with your current roommate?
Leave: Pretty good, not bad (laughs)
Host MZ: Guxue, what about you? How do you feel, going back to communal living?
Guxue: I think I've adjusted pretty well. Being a full-time streamer the last half year, it was too lonely. It feels nice to return to living with everyone.
Host MZ: Okay, then I also have to ask, are you satisfied with your current roommate?
Guxue: (Pause) I think my current roommate is pretty okay.
Host MZ: Very direct! No hesitation.
Host XS: I also want to ask the question that I think everyone is most concerned about--how's training going? How much of your full strength do you think you've recovered?
Leave: 30%, probably.
Host MZ: That's very conservative.
Leave: Is it conservative?
Host MZ: I don't know
Leave: Have you watched our scrim VODs? (Recently some OA scrim codes were reported to have leaked.).
Host MZ: I haven't! How would I? I just think you're being modest.
Guxue: If you sub to my stream I'll show you one.
Host MZ: No no no no no. So what about you? What percentage of your strength do you think you've recovered?
Guxue: I think I'm doing pretty well. Even though I'm just streaming, I've been constantly prepping while streaming. I've played over a thousand games in ranked per season to keep ready.
Host XS: Now that there are competitions on the horizon, what kind of goals are you setting for yourself?
Leave: A 5-5 win rate against Team Falcons, and a 4-6 win rate against Crazy Raccoons. I think that would be pretty decent.
Host XS: Who's 4 and who's 6?
Leave: Guess.
Host MZ: For Guxue, since you play the tank position, and we know that tanks have seen a lot of changes recently, now that you're back on a team, have you set any goals for your team or for yourself?
Guxue: Currently the tank situation isn't too bad. In a couple of days there'll be some big tank changes, so I don't know how it'll be then. (This was probably recorded last week).
Host MZ: Now that we've talked a bit about yourselves, you have a new coach for this team. We've heard what your teammates have said about him. What about you guys? How are you getting along?
Guxue: As of right now, we've been training together for two or three days and have scrimmed five or six times. Starting from the first day, when we did...pretty tragically, we've improved a lot over the past couple of days and I think Rush has been a big help to us.
Host XS: What about Leave?
Leave: I always thought Rush was rather shy. That's not the case. If he sees something to improve on, he'll point it out straight away. He'll call you out. He's called me out, yeah. The very first day he arrived. And then he called me out again today. It's very scary.
Host MZ: You think the callouts are helpful to you?
Leave: Yes, but he's very direct. He'll come straight out with it.
Host XS: Finally, do you have anything you want to say to your fans?
Leave: We still want to thank everyone for the huge support you've always given us. Rush will take us on one more run.
Guxue: Even though I've started training again which means I'll be streaming less, everyone remember to re-up your subs! Don't stop subbing.
