Daytime Shoulder Closures Continue.
Access to Ocean Bay Drive (MM 99.4) Closed:
Beginning Monday, May 20 at 9 a.m., access to Ocean Bay Drive (MM 99.4) from northbound State Road (SR) 5/Oversees Highway will be continuously closed to complete drainage work. During this operation, the following detour will be implemented for residents and motorists who wish to access Ocean Bay Drive:
  • Turn right onto Atlantic Avenue
  • Turn right onto Homestead Avenue

State Road (SR) A1A/South Roosevelt Boulevard from Go Lane (at Riviera Canal Bridge) to SR 5/US 1/North Roosevelt Boulevard
Contractor to begin sidewalk replacement at various locations.
Lane Closure/Detour Information:
  • Temporary single lane closures and sidewalk detours will be in place, Mondays through Thursdays between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
State Road (SR) 5/Overseas Highway from Mile Marker (MM) 19.4 to MM 19.8, from MM 20.6 to MM 23.1, and from MM 26.2 to MM 27.4
Contractor to continue with installation of road support structures near MM 21.1 and 22.6. Drainage structure installation near MM 21.4 is ongoing. Construction of the temporary pathway from MM 26.2 to MM 27 continues.
Lane Closure/Detour Information:
  • The speed limit is reduced to 35 mph along SR 5/US 1/Overseas Highway between MM 20.5 and MM 23 on Cudjoe Key, and between MM 26.2 and MM 27 on Ramrod Key.
  • The existing southbound temporary lane shift at approximately MM 21.1 remains in place. Southbound traffic is shifted into the center turning lane, and a single travel lane in each direction remains open.
  • Southbound traffic shifts to the center at approximately MM 22.6. Additional access to businesses located between Cutthroat Drive and Pirates Road is available via La Fitte Drive.
  • From the north end of Niles Channel Bridge, approximately MM 26.2, to Munson Avenue at MM 27, there is a lane shift and width reduction to accommodate the temporary Florida Keys Overseas Heritage Trail reconstruction in this area.
  • Nighttime paving activities will occur Mondays through Thursdays, from 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. During this time, flaggers will stop traffic in one direction to allow traffic from the opposite direction to pass. One lane will remain open to traffic at all times.

Cosculluela “El Principe Ghost Edition” (2010) – Some may get mad at seeing this “El Principe” #1 when “Odisea” is at #8 especially because Coscu’s 200 thousand units sold is 10x less the amount of Ozuna’s “Odisea”. But unless you were there, you cannot fathom the fact that “El Principe” was the equivalent to “El Abayarde” during the “Back To The Underground Era” (2009-2014). Major labels dissed Rap & Reggaeton and most of it went back to the underground. And even if it did receive a release from a major like “El Principe”, unless you were Yankee or Don or signed a 360, you were not getting any promotional dollars invested in you. This album remained “underground” outside of Puerto Rico, but it became the hottest thing in the culture thus it did phenomenal numbers with no mainstream exposure. But the most important facet is the music. And this album is full of classics from beginning to end with much variety yet Cosculluela does not abandon his underground lyricism at any moment for commercial success. You have ballads with Zion & De La Ghetto, but hardcore songs like “Plaka Plaka” and “Un Pesito”. There is no doubt that when this album came out Cosculluela was the #1 Latin MC on planet earth and his career is now legendary thanks to “El Principe” in which every single song was good and a hit!

  1. Jowell & Randy “El Momento” (2010) – Wisin & Yandel’s “WY Records” joined forces with the legendary “White Lion Records” to present this masterpiece. Half the album is produced by Wisin & Yandel’s superstar team of Nesty, Victor & Gomez while the other half is done by Live Music (DJ Giann, Dexter, Mr. Greenz & DJ Blass). It is Jowell & Randy’s best album to date and their most successful one too. People remember hits like “Un Booty Nuevo” feat. Yaviah, “Loco”, & “Solo Por Ti” but songs like “Amanece” and “Chica de Novela” are all time classics within the Reggaeton community. Ñengo Flow “Real G 4 Life” (2010) - Ñengo Flow became a superstar in Colombia with this album and later the rest of the world. “Real G 4 Life” has now become a mantra for Latinos raised in the barrio across the globe. The album was the best of both worlds. Half of it is Ñengo’s gritty, dark and violent tone with help of ultra underrated MC John Jay. The second half is club bangers with all tracks becoming hits in the Reggaeton world. This album is now one of the most influential in the history of Latin Music, not just Rap & Reggaeton.

4. Anuel AA “Real Hasta La Muerte mixtape version” (2016) – Anuel’s debut 13 track mixtape is a tour de force. Every song is either an underground hit or a commercial radio/club smash. He was just untouchable at this point. Lyrically he was also at his peak here as his lyrics kinda made more sense in their angst while recently he sounds kinda pointless. His punchlines were also much more clever in this era and he became a legend in the culture with this work alone which is much superior to the album version of 2018. Please don’t get them confused, one is much better than the other.

5. Kase.O “El Círculo” (2016) – “El Ciculo” by Kase.O is definitely the most sophisticated album on this list. For those not “in the know” Kase.O has been widely considered the undisputed best lyricist alive since Canserbero passed away. He was a member of the legendary Hip Hop group ‘Violadores Del Verso’ and presented a masterclass of a product with “El Círculo” in 2016. Apart from his supreme battle rap skills, we have songs with social content, R&B romance, and a variety of underground Rap sounds from R de Rhumba. If we were to rate on pure skill alone, this album may be #1.

6. Yandel “Dangerous” (2015) - Yandel’s most commercially successful album as a solo artist is just a tour de force from beginning to end. This is Yandel translating his hitmaking abilities from “Quien Contra Mi” to the modern era. It is very commercial without losing the essence of the true Reggaeton sound. Most people remember “Encantadora” but even deep cuts like “Riversa” feat. De La Ghetto, “Loba”, “Dejame Explorar” feat. French Montana & “No Sales De Mi Mente” feat. Nicky Jam were among the best Reggaeton songs that decade.

7. Los De La Nazza “Orion” (2015) - This is the finest produced Reggaeton album of the 2010’s and the one that launched today’s #1 label ‘RIMAS’. It has an all star list of participants including Farruko, Nicky Jam, De La Ghetto, Ozuna, Kendo Kaponi, Pusho, Angel & Khriz, Luigi 21 Plus, Alexio (RIP) Juanka & many more… It is a very street album and not recommended for all audiences. The beats still sound impressive almost a decade later.

The album is full of catchy songs and impressive features including Tito El Bambino, Nicky Jam & Farruko. Jumbo “El Que Produce Solo” does a fantastic job on the production end.

10. Nico Canada “A Lo Under vol. 1 & 2” (2012) – Nico Canada brought an all star double album to the game in 2012. You have exclusive tracks from Plan B, Cosculluela, Nicky Jam, J Alvarez, Ñengo Flow, Maicol & Manuel, Alberto Style, Ivy Queen, Mexicano, Yomo, Tito El Bambino, J-King & Maximan, Voltio, Jowell & Randy and more… All produced by Nico Canada alongside Kronix Magical mostly with an old school 90’s feel translated to the modern era. Sadly, this album was not known outside the underground but is worth the listen as it is full of classic tracks.

  1. IFT-4 as of May 11th, NET end of May or some time in June 2024 according to Elon Musk which ties in with Kathy Leuders saying on May 14th that they could have the FAA licence the last week in May or June. Expected to use Booster 11 and Ship 29. A licence modification is needed because they are planning to do "some different things.". SpaceX requested a public safety determination which could allow SpaceX to return to flight before the mishap investigation is finished,
  2. IFT-3 launch consisted of Booster 10 and Ship 28 as initially mentioned on NSF Roundup. SpaceX successfully achieved the launch on the specified date of March 14th 2024, as announced at this link with a post-flight summary. The IFT-2 mishap investigation was concluded on February 26th. Launch License was issued by the FAA on March 13th 2024 - this is a direct link to a PDF document on the FAA's website. Propellant transfer was successful.
  3. When was the previous Integrated Flight Test (IFT-2)? Booster 9 + Ship 25 launched Saturday, November 18 after slight delay.
  4. What was the result of IFT-2 Successful lift off with minimal pad damage. Successful booster operation with all engines to successful hot stage separation. Booster destroyed after attempted boost-back. Ship fired all engines to near orbital speed then lost. No re-entry attempt.
  5. Did IFT-2 fail? No. As part of an iterative test program, many milestones were achieved. Perfection is not expected at this stage.
  6. Goals for 2024 Reach orbit, deploy starlinks and recover both stages
  7. Currently approved maximum launches 10 between 07.03.2024 and 06.03.2025: A maximum of five overpressure events from Starship intact impact and up to a total of five reentry debris or soft water landings in the Indian Ocean within a year of NMFS provided concurrence published on March 7, 2024

May 16th: Partial propellant load of LOX and LCH4 then detank (note: NOT a failed WDR, there were no indications that a WDR was planned).

“Tte. Morales” estaba escrito en la tablilla de la puerta de madera de una de las 3 oficinas del segundo piso del batallón. Afuera se escuchaban cánticos coordinados y el sonido rítmico del paso característico del ejercicio militar. Mi profesor miraba cada 5 minutos su celular y resoplaba cada 10. Su pierna vibrante de impaciencia me empezó a resultar exasperante. Cuando cruzamos miradas me levanto las cejas y me pregunto:
“¿Estás seguro Mauro que queres seguir con este proyecto? mira que con las entrevistas que tienes es suficiente.”
“Si, siempre viene bien tener algún crédito más de respaldo. Aparte el año que viene voy a tomar esa optativa..”- La puerta se abrió rápido y chirriante, con un movimiento conciso.
“¡Adelante, por favor!”- se escuchó desde adentro.
El llamado me tomó por sorpresa y los nervios brotaron de mi estómago. Nos levantamos y entramos en la oficina.
“Tomen asiento, mi nombre es Esteban Morales Soto, teniente coronel a cargo del 4to batallón de artillería.”
Morales nos extendió la mano en un fuerte apretón. Era un tipo grande, alto y ancho con facciones serias, el bigote perfectamente recortado y vestido completo en uniforme camuflado verde oliva y marrón. Se sentó y empezó a alinear algunos papeles que tenía apoyado en su escritorio.
“¿Cómo le va? Hablamos por teléfono por la extensión universitaria, sobre el proyecto de un estudiante sobre la vida en el batallón”.- Explicó mi profesor casi tartamudeando, claramente intimidado por la presencia solemne del teniente.
“A sisi, El muchacho de las entrevistas, ya me comentaron. ¿Cuál es el objetivo específico del pedido de incluir las guardias?”
“Bueno, a raíz de las entrevistas, algunos soldados relataron sus guardias nocturnas y considero de interés documentar de primera mano la dinámica que se forja en esa actividad en particular, está todo en el proyecto que mande.”- Le extendí la carpeta barata de color rojo con el proyecto de la práctica.
El teniente me miró con una expresión seria y desconfiada. Sin cortar contacto visual descruzo sus manos, tomó la carpeta y la apoyó en el escritorio, deslizándola unos centímetros para que quedara debidamente centrada. En ese momento miro de vuelta a mi profesor.
“Las guardias como debe de estar al tanto, implican la custodia ARMADA de los bienes y del perímetro del destacamento, siendo esta una actividad de vital importancia en la base.”
“Si Sr. estamos al tanto.”-. Dijo el profesor aclarándose la garganta y continuó.
“Aca Mauro fue muy amable de señalar un convenio activo entre el ministerio de defensa y la UDELAR que permitiría, con fines de investigación, permanecer y pernoctar en la base.”
“Está todo en la parte de anexos”.- Dije señalando la carpeta.
“Estoy perfectamente informado sobre lo que señala el Sr”.- contestó mirando a mi profesor y continuó.
“El único problema es que ese acuerdo está pensado para las bases de investigación, como la de la Antártida.”
“¡Exacto!-. conteste. - Hay antecedentes de estas colaboraciones entonces, ¿no?”.- dije un poco exaltado y apoyando mi mano en el escritorio.
El Tte. ahora si me lanzó una mirada fulminante, a mi mano y a mi. Pude escuchar como el cruce de sus dedos sobre el escritorio se tensó ligeramente.
“Muy bien, se le va a conceder dos días de guardia como solicito. Va a tener que firmar unos documentos y se le va a dar un equipo de vestimenta básico.”
“Deje todo con el Cabo en la entrada y como consejo, tenga la gentileza de aplicar en esos días el respeto y los protocolos mínimos para dirigirse a un oficial. Buenos días”.- Tomó la carpeta y la metió en el cajón a su derecha. Se levantó de la silla y nos extendió la mano en saludo.
En la oficina de recepción, aguardamos atrás de una mampara de acrílico de la época covid a que el soldado terminara de decir “Si, Sr.” por teléfono. La voz grave y alta del Tte. del otro lado de la línea traspasó las barreras sanitarias. El Soldado cortó el teléfono, y nos miró.
“Bien, van a tener que firmar estos permisos y precisamos el sello de Usted como responsable”.- Presentó los papeles por la hendija de acrílico y se paró con dirección a un armario.
“Talle "L" ¿No?”- me preguntó mirándome de arriba abajo.
“Si, "L" esta bien.-”
“Bien, acá tiene. 1 uniforme de Aspirante. Botas no es necesario, puede venir con su calzado me dijo el Tte.
“Gracias”.- Respondí con una sonrisa.
Nos llevamos las cosas y sobre la puerta que daba al patio, logré ver a Hernández conversando con otros soldados. Cruzamos miradas, y asentimos en señal de saludo.
Al salir finalmente del recinto, dimos un largo suspiro y nos lanzamos una mirada cómplice de alivio de tensión con mi profesor.
“Ahora ya estás en el baile Mauro.- me dijo casi entre risas.- Tengo que irme volando, llego tarde a la facultad. Saludos y mantenme al tanto.
El jueves sobre las 18hs me presenté en el destacamento con mi vestimenta militar provisoria. Me sentí un farsante la verdad, no es una vestimenta que me hubiera imaginado usar. Pero bueno, era un medio necesario para un objetivo mayor. Si hay algo que vengo transformando en mi corta estadía acá son mis prejuicios.
Hernandez se encontraba fusil en mano junto a tres soldados más. Me acerco a saludarlos pero no rompieron formación, me quedé incómodo a su lado con mi mochila rebuscando y asegurando que la grabadora tuviera batería. No era mi intención filmar esta noche, ya que dentro de los papeles el teniente prohibió expresamente esto último. Pero, no decía nada de grabaciones de audio. En ese momento se presenta Morales.
“¡Atención!” - Las botas de los soldados se juntaron al unísono en un sonido conciso.
“Esta guardia nos va a acompañar un estudiante. Está al tanto de las reglas y va a quedar al mando del cabo Hernandez. Lo acompañará también el Cabo Rizo. Usted Masera, va conmigo al perímetro de Burgués.
Masera, dio un resoplido casi imperceptible de alivio.
“Rompan fila!”
Hernandez y Rrizo empezaron a marchar hacia el galpón de artillería.
El Tte. me miró brevemente con gesto endurecido, casi como queriendo intimidarme. No lo estaba logrando, por lo menos por ahora. Se dio media vuelta y caminó en sentido opuesto.
La guardia consistía en estar vigilando desde una torreta de madera de cara a un galpón, más allá un monte de eucaliptos y después la muralla perimetral. Detrás nuestra estaban estacionados unos vehículos blindados que pareciera no se vienen moviendo muy seguido. También era responsabilidad de esta guardia vigilar los mismos. Al subir, Hernández se sacó la gorra y apoyó brevemente el fusil contra la baranda.
“Bueno. ahora sí, podemos hablar.”
“Rizo, este es Mauro, Mauro: Cabo de 2ª Rizo.”
“Un gusto,”- Conteste.
Sobre las 20 horas nos trajeron la cena. Del techo interno de la torreta colgaba una tenue lámpara de luz amarilla, nos tomamos turnos para sentarnos a comer sobre la baranda. El clima estaba templado y el cielo nocturno despejado, una media luna enorme se asomó sobre la muralla retratando una postal realmente hermosa. Mientras apreciaba esto, percibo que el sonido de los autos y ómnibus empezaron a ser menos frecuentes.
“Así que sos periodista me dijo Hernández, ¿así como en la radio? ¿o del diario?
“No, no. Por ahora soy estudiante, pero es la idea.”
“¡Ah! Esta bien, yo conocí uno pero era Francés, hablaba todo cruzado el gringo, pero se hacía entender bastante.”
“¿A si?”-. le respondí interesado.
“Si allá, cuando fui de misión al Congo.”
“¿A si? cómo es allá?” le pregunté intrigado. Nunca había conocido a nadie que haya estado en una zona de guerra.
Hernández me tiró una mirada pesada y Ruiz borró brevemente la sonrisa que venía manteniendo.
“Depende donde te toque. Pero es jodido. Es una guerra y no la de drones que vemos hoy en día. Gente, mujeres y niños. Es complicado.”
Ruiz desdibujó su gesto inicial para empezar a sumergirse en algún recuerdo, empezó a hablar un poco más bajo y a evitar el contacto visual.
“No se Ruíz, si el muchacho va a querer escuchar sobre eso.
“No,no, cuénteme si, le molesta si pongo a grabar? después me resulta más fácil para escribir.”
“No me molesta, pero no vaya a decir que le conté yo, mire si se arma quincho por contar estas cosas.”
“Quedes tranquilo, no es necesario poner su nombre.”
“En ese caso, tengo una historia en que estaba este amigo francés, que le comente recién. Si no hubiera sido por él no se si la contábamos.”
Apoyé la grabadora en el barandal, y Ruiz empezó a tirar y atrapar lo que parecía una medalla tamaño moneda plateada, de lo que suponía era alguna imagen religiosa. Caminaba de un lado a otro en el cuadrado de madera pobremente iluminado mientras Hernandez hacía el favor de mirar periódicamente hacia el camino donde podría aparecer Morales.
“Una de las cosas curiosas de esta historia, es que el reporte final de esta misión, cuenta una versión diferente. No menciona las armas. Valla uno a saber por qué.”
Salimos de misión con el vehículo blindado, La idea era llevar provisiones y medicamentos a una aldea a unos 20 km de la base. En cierto punto, donde debíamos atravesar una colina tupida por la selva se formó una tormenta muy grande. Porque allá es pura selva y para peor era temporada de lluvias, así que ya venía lloviendo casi todos los días. Pero esta tormenta que nos agarró fue mucha agua.
Las comunicaciones se cortaron y quedamos varados ya que el río había sobrepasado el nivel del puente que teníamos que cruzar. Con este panorama y con miedo a que nos agarrara la noche, el Tte. dio la orden de bordear la inundación de la carretera principal, pero nos teníamos que meter en un lugar poco mapeado pero que sabíamos que tenía un puente para poder cruzar la crecida. Así que nos metimos por unos caminos de tierra a paso de hombre, el suelo era un barrial con peligro de quedar con las ruedas atrapadas.
Empezamos a sentir ruidos entre los árboles a nuestro alrededor. En ese momento paramos y adoptamos la formación. Damos la voz de identificarse.
Nada. Completo silencio de vuelta. Escuchamos un poco más y de vuelta escuchamos los ruidos a unos metros adelante. Avanzamos fusil en mano, mientras el francés se quedó en el jeep. De repente sentimos un grito ahogado atrás, nos dimos vuelta y apuntamos. Era una avanzada guerrillera que había tomado de rehén al franchute.
Les gritamos que lo soltaran pero también nos apuntaron hasta que uno de ellos puso el fusil en alto como rindiéndose, y empezó a decir.
“¡¿Medico, medico?!”
Ahí el francés les preguntó si precisaban un médico y dijeron que sí. Nosotros siempre llevamos a alguien que sepa lo básico, en este caso fue asignado Sanchez. No me olvido más, estaba cagado en las patas, había llegado de Uruguay esa semana.
Ahí el francés empezó a traducir que en la aldea acá cerca tenían muchos niños enfermos y que necesitaban un médico.
Parecía tremenda cama, una trampa. Era muy riesgoso, intentamos llamar a la base de vuelta pero era todo interferencia.
De repente, como percibiendo nuestra desconfianza tiraron las armas a nuestros pies y se pusieron de rodillas. Uno de ellos avanzó hacia mí llorando, diciendo algo que no entendí.
El francés tradujo.
Tenía 3 hijas chicas, ayer enterró a 2 y la última estaba enferma.
La desesperación en la cara de ese tipo, no me la olvido más.
Decidimos ir con la condición de que si veíamos un arma nos dábamos la vuelta y nos íbamos. Accedieron. Se adelantaron, fueron a informar a la aldea y volvieron a guiarnos.
Cuando llegamos, hermano, el olor era insoportable. La aldea había quedado en medio de la crecida y alrededor flotaban los cuerpos en descomposición de la gente, el olor, no te puedo explicar.
Llegamos con agua y provisiones, el anciano de la aldea nos agradeció, no había ninguna arma a la vista. Nos envolvimos trapos en la boca y entramos a la choza mayor. Al entrar en por lo menos 20 camas improvisadas con caña y trapo estaban los niños.
La mitad estaban cubiertos de pies a cabeza, la otra mitad gemía y lloraba de dolor. Sobre uno de los niños, un indigena viejo y pintado practicaba lo que parecía un ritual con sahumerios y cánticos, mientras la madre sostenía la mano del niño mirando el vacío. En ese momento, el niño me miro, y dejo de respirar. El brujo y la madre cerraron los ojos del niño y lo taparon como a los otros. Era malaria.
No había nada que hacer. Sanches, el médico, les dijo que podía darles calmantes y algún antibiótico para las infecciones en las heridas expuestas por la enfermedad, pero no había nada que hacer. Por lo menos la mitad, ya estaba muerta, pero hasta que no bajará el río, no había donde enterrarlos.
Forzados a convivir, con los cuerpos.
Empezamos a retirarnos y con mucha cautela retrocedimos por donde vinimos. Desde una choza salió uno de los guerrilleros con un tatuaje característico y entre las cortinas de la puerta que había abierto para salir, vimos una montaña de fusiles. Apilados. En el barro. Nos miró y nos hizo una reverencia en señal de respeto y agradecimiento.
El francés empezó a balbucear algo para adentro mientras volvíamos al jeep, le pregunté qué decía , y me tradujo: “Las armas no tienen uso contra la miseria”. me quedó grabado eso.”
Debo confesar que los ojos se me llenaron de lágrimas al imaginar tal tragedia. Puse pausa en el grabador y cuando voy a hablar para responder a Ruiz sobre la historia. Sentimos ruidos que venían de atrás del galpón. Los tres miramos a la vez y nos miramos, confirmando que todos lo habíamos oído.
Hernandez y Ruiz se calzaron los fusiles y bajaron de la torreta, me hicieron seña que espere acá. Mientras avanzaban por el costado del galpón, empecé a sentir un vértigo y una sensación de nerviosismo, probablemente infundado, podría ser algún animal, o alguna rama que se golpeaba. Los árboles comenzaron a mecerse con el viento y en los intervalos del sonido de las ramas se asomo un ruido extraño.
Traté de concentrarme hasta que lo sentí.
Bien claro.
El sonido de una pala que entraba y salía de la tierra. Una y otra vez. Cada vez con más volumen, como acercándose hasta parecer que los sonidos venían de detrás mío. Mi cuerpo empezó a entumecerse, y de repente tuve la sensación de que alguien estaba conmigo. Cuando me di vuelta de golpe no había nadie y el sonido de la pala se detuvo. En ese momento, sentí un estruendo de chapa que me hizo saltar del susto. Hernández se tropieza y se recuesta contra el galpón acompañado de Ruiz.
“¡La puta madre!”. Dijo con visible enojo.
Subieron a la torreta y me dijeron.
“Un gato probablemente, siempre se meten.”
Un gato no hace sonidos de pala, pensé para mis adentros, sin entender del todo lo que había pasado.

De acuerdo a un artículo de Investopedia.com se llama <<25 trabajos que pagan lo más>>, 22 de los 25 ocupaciones que trabajan lo más son en el campo de la asistencia médica. Lo primero es de ser doctor de cardiología y además las profesiones en la asistencia médica van a crecer por 13% por 2031. Por lo tanto, si no debemos que haber más mujeres en esta área, las mujeres no van a tener las misma oportunidades para ganarse la vida cómo los hombres.
¿Por qué no ya tenemos más mujeres en matemáticas y ciencias? En los Estados Unidos, por muchos años ha existido un estereotipo que matemática es más por los chicos de las chicas. Like always, I've missed some sort of controversy happening in the FNAF community. But this time I had something to say about it as it relates to the lore side of things!
A week ago... Before Scott came and revealed that The Talbert Files were all fake and he had never seen nor written them. I was late to the party this time but next to I'll be on time!
But to boil down what I said, The Talbert Files has outdated information and is unusable to us theorists. Do not use anything in this book to make a point in the current story of the games.
Oh and of course, this controversy came from Twitter or X or whatever. If these past few games have told me anything, it's that being connected to a network for any long periods of time is very bad for your mental health and safety~
And basically, that was the gist of what would've been probably the longest intro ever.

Hello, this is something you might have missed in Help Wanted 2.
Previously Post Interesting things:
  1. Our main character, HW Jeremy, Cassie's dad, is already wearing the Security Mask before we even start the game. This means Glitchtrap has access to his mind and body. As for what that entails...
  2. Help Wanted 2's AMask-on version of the FNAF6 Pizzaria might be based on Micheal's canonical look for it near the end of Pizzaria Simulator.
  3. After completing each minigame, a party hat, plate, and cup will appear on the table next to you. Whose party are we attending as a guest?
  4. The protagonist of Help Wanted 2 is HW Jeremy, discovered through the color blue items which are prominent in the game and used for his name and shirt in Ruin. Jeremy was a former employee of Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rental and may have been present during the events of Sister Location.
  5. In the First Aid minigame of Help Wanted 2, the "GET WELL SOON!" drawings depict Baby's life as seen through Vanny's eyes, hinting towards the game's secret ending. These drawings also reveal that Baby's data card from Sister Location was inside Helpy in Pizzeria Simulator and survived the fire. As a result, her programming was eventually absorbed into the Pizzaplex's Network, leading to her appearance in Help Wanted 2.
  6. Glitchtrap may have collected the souls and memories of the original dead kids into the Pizzaplex's Network and in this game, Jeremy is going into Glitchtrap's memories.
  7. Help Wanted 2's Fizz Faz minigame's location is the same but different location in Security Breach. They both have identical objects placed in the exact place as each other, giving evidence to the fact that Jeremy is physically moving to certain locations in the Pizzaplex when clicking on the minigames.
  8. Helpi in this game is indeed Glitchtrap in disguise. Unlike Ruin, Helpi is not his own entity in this game because we're not connected to the V.A.N.N.I. network due to being in the FNAF6 pizzeria. The V.A.N.N.I. network only covers the entire Pizzaplex but doesn't go past the door to the underground in Roxy Raceway. Glitchtrap has a preference for using proxies and decoys to communicate with the unsuspected to get them to do what he wants.
Now back to our unregularly scheduled series!

"The carousel is broken. Fix it!" That was what greeted you in the void along with a pictograph of a carousel. It sounded very simple but you knew better now.
"Fix all the broken fuses, then replace any broken switches and turn on the power."
"Repair the circuit board. Don't forget to solder in new wires with the soldering gun." Were the rest of the instructions given to you for this task, hovered over the "START" button but before you pressed it, a new sound reverberated in the void.
There was always a noise, a certain ambiance in this place of darkness. Whether it be the sound of blowing air or some distant jingle, there was always something to occupy the ears. But this was different.
It was like the noise of someone pulling a wire along a corner very fast, like the sound of something struggling to play out of a static radio, a blare of a machine in motion that started malfunctioning. Whatever description one wanted to use, it didn't change the fact that it was getting increasingly louder.
But before you hear more of it or even figure out what it was. Your hand betrayed you and completed the motion of pressing the "START" button. Whisking you off to your next destination over the cover of darkness.

Okay, that's it! I've got to find this ambiance in the Help Wanted 2 soundtrack! It's driving me nuts! Alright, I've got good news and bad news. The good news is that I found the exact track that plays in the void! It's called Main Menu Ambiance or as its file name refers to it, ambience_main_menu. The bad news is that this sound I'm hearing is not there.
This means one of two things, this track has a different variant of it somewhere in the soundtrack, or the sound belongs to some animatronic or creature in the game.
Personally, I hoping for the former as that's much, much easier to find as the latter requires me to rip open the game for the sound. What makes this even more difficult is that it might be randomized to play while in the void and pretty much everyone doesn't stay in the void any longer than to read the instructions, claim their prizes from the claws, or press the "RESTART" button in the "GAME OVER" void.
(Although I haven't gone over the "GAME OVER" void yet in this series, I have heard it play in there too on my searching through other people's playthroughs of the game.)
Time to go back to searching for this mysterious sound.
I can't find it. I've searched YouTube but there aren't a lot of people uploading the entire soundtrack to this game and the one who has doesn't have it listed in their playlist of 769 videos. Oh, joy! It looks like we have our first Help Wanted 2 mystery! What a coincidence considering my last post.
So for now, I'm going to leave the research for this until I write out Help Wanted 2 Mysteries: The Mysterious Sound in the Void. But to leave you all hanging and confused about what exactly I'm hearing, I'll give you the timestamp of the walkthrough I heard it from right here.
Now, let's see what awaits us at the Carousel.
"Attention, This Carousel is out of service and will require repairs before we open tomorrow."
The Daycare Attendant, Sun, spoke from somewhere close by in this new environment you found yourself in. You were standing inside a Carousel in a dark room, the only light source seemed to be a light from above as you faced an open panel on the central pillar in the middle of it. Inside the panel, live currents of electricity crackled and popped as they ran across and through yellow wires into two out of six fuses that the wire ran through.
The fuses were in two vertical parallel rows, and the yellow wire ran in and out of one row and went back through in the next until the very last row where it came out of the last bulb and disappeared into the side of the panel. Judging by how the two fuses were lit as the electric current went through and the other four were unlit with no visible electric current going through them, you bet a greasy pizza that you'll need to replace those four fuses.
"That is the end of my instruction. If I had been programmed with the knowledge to fix it, it would have already been done." That would've been nice, but you think they would've just gotten another broken carousel for you to fix.
During your listening to his speech, you figure that "Sun" was only just a recording as his voice had a sort of radio-like quality to it that sounded much like it was recorded at an earlier date.
To your left was a stand with three hatches opened, showing off items within them while what looked to be colorful wires sat on a small divot in the stand.
To your right, was an interesting set of items that seemed very out of place to you. There was a small rectangular haystack that sat on the right side of the pillar, with a skinny pumpkin and an oil lantern. What are they doing here? (What indeed, but perhaps there's a clue around here.)
A brief look around showed you that the area outside the carousel was blindingly dark, but grabbing the flashlight that sat on the tool cabinet-like stand on your left and flicking it on, revealed what was hidden in the darkness.
Further from you, were the carousel seats that took after the appearances of some of the classic Freddy's animatronics. You see with the help of your flashlight, you see a classic (FNAF1) Bonnie seat, a classic (FNAF1) Chica seat, a classic (FNAF1) Mr. Cupcake, Toy Freddy, and Toy Foxy? Weird, you've usually seen Toy Foxy in their mangle variant rather than their fixed state.
(Despite the darkness and the unmangled form of this white foxy, you can actually tell which of the closely resembling Foxys it represents. While Scott did make Funtime Foxy, (From Sister Location, not FNAF World) very similar to Mangle/Toy Foxy. He did make them slightly distinct from each other in the coloring department besides their different structures.
The official model of Funtime Foxy(Sister location) actually has dark pink cheeks while Mangle/Toy Foxy has rosy-red cheeks just like the rest of their Toy companions. So this carousel is really repping FNAF 2-era, I wonder why...)
You thought you saw balloons at the edge of your flashlight, but before you could verify it, something spoke close by from where you were standing.
"The merry-go-round broke down." The slightly hoarse, raspy voice ended with a snicker as you struggled to find the source of it. Something was definitely in the dark room with you. (Hey Moon!)
You the source continued to elude you before you gave up and focused on the problem in front of you. Waisting time to find the voice was a fool's game, your best bet was to quickly fix this problem within the panel before the voice became a problem for you.
Still, you felt that you knew that voice.
Out you pulled the broken fuses and set them on the side, in went the new fuses you took from the hatch in the stand one by one as they came out of the hatch. Once you put the final new fuses, the pillar in front began to spin, and dozens of mini yellow lightbulbs lit up on its side.
Lights in the distance flickered on and music from the carousel started playing. (Carousel: Doomsday Ride Phase 1.) The pillar came to a stop on its next side but the outer ring full of rides of the carousel continued to spin clockwise around you. It's there where you spotted the one behind the voice and finally put a name to the foggy figure in your memory, Moon, the Daycare Attendant's other personality.
And the most difficult one to deal with. But you knew how to deter this side of him, you thought as you pointed your flashlight at his face as he rode a Bonnie seat in the outer ring of the carousel.
"What makes you so special?"
You heard him say as he started to shake his head from the brightness of the light, but you handled your flashlight well to keep the light on his face before he fell off the Bonnie seat with a frustrated and agony-filled growl from overexposure.

And there it is! The most important line in this game! This line is a hint at the hidden ongoings within Help Wanted 2, a hint towards our mysterious protagonist's identity, and a hint that things are not what they seem in this game.
Or at least that's the excitement I would've felt when we finally got to this line in the game if I hadn't already spoiled everything during the Circus Baby and Helpi discoveries in the First Aid minigames!
Now, I really don't have much to say regarding the "What makes you so special?" line or any new thoughts about it. Maybe that'll change in the future, but for now, let's focus on another unexpected return in the form of the villainous side of the Daycare Attendant.
Yep, that's right. Just like Circus Baby, this is the actual Moon from Security Breach and Ruin! Unlike Circus Baby though, we have a precedent from Ruin for the Daycare Attendant to be able to appear in the Network, which this "game" is connected to, even in the FNAF6 pizzeria.
Honestly, I probably wouldn't I gotten that far in uncovering as much as did in Help Wanted 2 if I hadn't discovered that little hidden tidbit about Sun and Moon's network switched mechanic thing they have going on.
But for those who don't remember or don't know what I'm talking about you can read where I first talked about it in the fourth section of my "Roxy's true purpose" post. But to summarize it for those who don't want to click the link and go more in-depth about it for those who do, one of the oddest and unexplained moments that occurs in Ruin, is Sun talking to Cassie in the AR world while Moon speaking in the real world.
Back then, It always puzzled me when Sun said "Not me! The other me!" when approached by Cassie with the mask on to reboot him. And afterward, when the Daycare Attendant has been rebooted into Eclipse, Cassie could hear Sun say "thank you" in the real world after Eclipse left her outside of the daycare, even though he should've been gone with the reboot.
But the missing pieces to figure out this Daycare Attendant puzzle come in three, the Security Mask, the Faz-Wrench, and the Network. It is very important to remember what the first two actually do in Ruin and to not forget how the AR world exists.
The Security Mask lets you view the Pizzaplex through Augmented Reality, a digitally altered perception of reality influenced and dictated by Fazbear Entertainment (and Glitchtrap) and by the sub-network of the main network of the Pizzaplex.
That mask also has another function it, which is hinted in the name of its sub-network, V.A.N.N.I. or Virtual Augmented Neural Network Integration Unit. The Security Mask, with your consent under normal circumstances I presume, implants your brain with an occipital transponder. This implant allows you to retain some visual perks of V.A.N.N.I. like Helpi the onboard assistant who could still show up to assist you without the mask.
But this implant is a double-edged sword in truth. This implant is permanently attached to your brain and is constantly feeding information from and to your brain to the network. The Pizzaplex's Network holds a lot of information, like guest profiles for those who enter the Pizzaplex, the security system that safeguards and watches over everything, the various data collection regarding each location within the Pizzaplex, and is connected to every single animatronic/bot within the Pizzaplex.
The Network is a valuable tool for the employees and Fazbear Entertainment, providing plentiful assistance in various tasks. However, the situation regarding the implant would not have been grave had there not been a sinister entity lurking within the network. Glitchtrap now has complete access to a person's brain without their knowledge, posing a significant unknown threat to those who have it.
If you want to know what Glitchtrap is capable of doing to someone implanted with the occipital transponder, just read my Security Mask and Cassie being controlled post.
This leaves us with the unassuming Faz-Wrench, a tool that almost goes unnoticed by practically everyone. But like any tool, it will shine best when used for its purpose. That is besides being used as a simple tool for the simple conduit puzzle, it's a powerful tool to connect, activate, and deactivate everything connected to the Network.
So applying everything I've said to the Daycare Attendant situation in Ruin, then you can figure out many secret things about him that were unsaid.
  1. When one of the Daycare Attendant's personalities is dominant or in the foreground, the subservient one will still be active in the background and is still aware of what's happening around him. Yes, this means that Sun knows about Vanny, Moon, and Glitchtrap, and what happens to Moon's victims. I still wouldn't label him a villain, just complacent, because he still hasn't hurt or harmed anyone even with all the information we've gained from the books and games.
  2. If Cassie had used the Faz-Wrench while wearing the mask, she would have deactivated the Sun persona and disconnected the Daycare Attendant from the Network. This might've led to him completely shutting down and deactivating as The Daycare Attendant is connected to a lot of things within the network. If not, it would just leave Moon as the dominant personality. (For those thinking this would be a good thing for the villains, remember that Moon would still be severely sensitive to light and useless in any lit environments. Eclipse was the best option for villains regarding the Daycare Attendant.)
  3. The Daycare Attendant is active in the Network at all times when functional. In fact, I believe that the Sun and Moon weren't exactly removed from the Daycare Attendant's data once Eclipse was made the dominant personality from the reboot as the fact that Sun can still communicate with Cassie even after Eclipse takes over backs this up. I'll even go as far as to say that Sun and Moon are still around but can only interact with anyone through the network.
This brings us back to Help Wanted 2's carousel minigame and Moon's presence within it. If you had no doubt guess with all the information above about how Moon here, is actually Moon, then let me spell it out for those struggle to make sense of what I'm saying.
The Moon that's appearing here is the same Moon we first met in Security Breach. As for how? The Daycare Attendant is much more connected to the Network than all other animatronics as he is the only one who can actually talk to someone through it rather than playing past voice lines as we see from the other Glamrocks in the AR world.
And it's here in Help Wanted 2 that it's revealed that he's fully conscious enough to travel through the networks and sub-networks and interact with anyone and anything integrated into it, i.e. Vanny, Cassie, Jeremy, and Glitchtrap.
Oh, and as for why he has a physical body here, this is just a digital form created by whatever program that "Help Wanted 2" is in-universe as Ruin showed us through the M.X.E.S. Entity and M.X.E.S. program that digital entities can appear to have a physical form through their programs and can be viewed the Security Mask.
If Moon didn't the "Help Wanted 2" program to help create a digital body, he would most likely appear as a motionless digital creation like that Giant endo in Fazbear Theator or probably wouldn't even have a form and be like an invisible ghost that you can only hear. (That sounds like a great idea for an enemy in a future game. Steel Wool if you're reading this, I have no ownership over this idea, so it's free to use!)
However, I don't think before the reboot into Eclipse, that both Sun and Moon could be in the Network at the same time. One of them has to occupy their physical body while the other waits for their turn in the network.
In Ruin, Moon was occupying the body most of the time while Sun was stuck and talking to Cassie through the network, and at no point did we hear Moon talking through it.
So since Help Wanted 2 is a prequel to Ruin and in turn pre-Eclipse. The opposite must be happening here with the Daycare Attendant in regards to who occupies the body and whose in the Network, because from what I remember from the entire game, Sun gives not a single hint that he's the real one rather than a simple digital recreation.
This means that during the entirety of Help Wanted 2, Sun is presently occupying the Daycare Attendant's body while Moon is present in the Network and interacting with/observing Jeremy while following Glitchtrap's, and secretly Vanny's, orders.
Which then begs the question, is this Moon in the carousel minigame the same one in the Arts and Crafts and Foxy Log Ride minigames? Or to rephrase it, are the other minigames' Moons just digital recreations?
I'm not sure, but it's something to look out for in the future when we get to those minigames. But for now, I'm going to hold off on making any Moon "Prove it!" post until we cover those minigames. Now, let's finish this minigame.

The Pillar had stopped to show a new panel for you to solve that had three dial knobs and a missing one from top to bottom, alternating from side to side with three wires running through all of them.
Already having an idea of what to do, you quickly turn the first two dial knobs and watch electricity flow through them. But when you got to the third one it came off as soon as you touched it, falling to the ground and out of sight.
Oh no! What could you do now?! Panic started to creep in as Moon's laughter reached your ears. This time sounding a lot closer than before. Quickly looking around for both Moon and another way to fix the panel, you spotted a spare dial knob in one of three hatches on the stand beside you. Grabbing it and another for the knob-less fourth one, you speedily attached them and turned them for the electric current to go through all of them.
Snatching up your flashlight, you desperately searched for Moon as more of the carousel ride became alive with more moving seats, more lights, and more energetic music to accompany it. FF(Carousel: Doomsday Ride Phase 2.)
You even saw more of the seats that were obscure in the darkness before. There was a Toy Bonnie seat, a Toy Chica seat, a Classic (FNAF1) Freddy seat, and finally balloons in a barrel seat which is where you found Moon ridding before you flashed your light at him, causing him to scream and fall off it.
(Hmm... No FNAF1 Foxy. Oh! And just to clarify, I'm referring to these seats as 'classic' because they are likely modeled after the original withered animatronics, rather than the restored ones we met in FNAF1.")
Returning to face the new problem panel on a different side of the pillar, you were met with a circuit board with frayed wires, with a small display screen on top of it and a big red button underneath it. There was also some kind of blue gun beneath all of that, in a holster built into this side of the central pillar.
Luckily, it seems that someone thought to help you out on what you were supposed to do here as there was a clipboard board hanging on the side of the pillar with a paper attached to it. The paper titled "SOLDERING INSTRUCTIONS" was exactly as the title said, showing what you want to do with the circuit board.
It didn't look like you could use the one on the pillar, so you took it off and grabbed a new one that you spotted in the third hatch and put that on the pillar swiftly. You grabbed a couple of wires that were sitting on the stand and pulled out what you previously thought was a blue gun that was actually the smoldering gun and quickly went to work as Moon ominously snickered from somewhere very close around you.
"Naughty Naughty."
One, two. Only two wires you managed to solder onto the circuit board before you pushed your luck to your breaking point and grabbed the flashlight in one smooth motion as turned around and looked for Moon. The goodness you found him immediately, the bad news is he's just one seat away from where you're standing.
Acting quickly before he could move close and bring death along with him, you flashed your light at him, sending him over the seat in agony. Not even bothering to see him completely go over the seat, you finished soldering the last wire and smacked the big red button underneath it.
And loud alarm sounded throughout the area as the pillar stayed put this time, but the closest seats around you started to spin with the rest of the carousel and the music became jumbled. (Carousel: Doomsday Ride Phase 3.) A timer lit up and started counting down from 1 minute on the screen above the circuit board along with the following words: Time Until Reset.
Let like you need to survive until the reset happens as there is nothing else for you to fix. So grabbing your flashlight again, you prepared yourself as could be to last 1 minute of Moon's onslaught. During this terrifying minute, sparks shot out from beneath the ceiling of the carousel as all the lights inside it turned all. But if Moon wasn't enough to deal with, a fire appeared at the farthest end of the area you were in as the lights flickered off and on while the carousel continued to dangerously spark from different places on the machine.
(Hmm... Could this be the event that gave the Daycare Attendant his Ruined appearance?! This actually might be it!)
As machinery grind and screeched, the fire multiplied, the sparks became numerous, and Moon was relentless, but eventually... The carousel came to a stop after you repelled Moon with your light once again as another alarm sound rang out. Turning around you saw the timer was at zero, meaning your work here was finally done. The last thing you heard was another Sun recording shouting "Ho, ho!" before darkness whisked you away and dropped you into the "GAME WON!" void.
Immediately, under the usual children's congratulations scream, your ears picked up that mysterious sound you heard earlier. The unknown sound, similar to that of an old radio distortion, lingered in the void until it faded away, leaving the usual ambiance of the void.
(What. Is. IT?!)
With no answer for the mysterious sound and no way to discover it, you pushed its existence to the back of your mind and pressed the claw machine button to claim your hard-earned prize. But before you grabbed your capsules out of the machine you heard a new sound... (What?)
It sounded like middle c on a Xylophone, maybe a bit deeper than that. It repeated itself in a quick 1, 2, beat in the same pitch then repeated itself an octave higher in the same pattern before disappearing.
(Am I being prank? Maybe there's something wrong with the video I'm watching, I don't remember hearing this anywhere else. Then again, the other YouTubers I'm watching talk a lot or just quickly move on when in the void. This requires further investigation. Okay, I've just checked a completely different Youtuber and found that, yes, this is a real sound in the game and not an edit. If you would like to hear this, I timestamped it here. It goes by very quick, so listen closely.
But on the sound itself. I don't why but I'm getting Daycare vibes from this. I might need to take another look at that place in Ruin and maybe even Security Breach for some kind of clue. After all, we do find Jeremy's shirt in the Daycare for some reason...)
The prize this time was a Carousel Toy which was fitting to you as you pressed the "RETURN TO HUB" button and were blinded by darkness and found yourself back at the restaurant. A quick survey of around you, showed that nothing has changed, except for something new sitting on the red-clothed table next to Mystic Hippo. It was your carousel toy that you've won.
You picked it up and gave it a once over, noticing Classic Freddy, Bonnie, and Freddy as the only seats to it and that it had a Sun & Moon theme appearance. (Not the Daycare Attendant but the actual Sun & Moon.)
You sat the toy back down, glanced at Mystic Hippo, and then returned to the computer in the middle of the room. (I'm still not sure about Mystic Hippo but I go over that at a later date.) You clicked the Ticket Booth folder and found that the last two files were unlocked for it. Captn. Foxy's Log Ride and another glitched and broken file.
What? I thought that there was another Carousel minigame! Well, I guess I'll talk about some of the other stuff I was going to research for now, instead of later. First, let's talk about the carousel itself, I can only remember one game that had a carousel in it and that's FNAF 2. And that's before I saw that the seats were making references to it too.
However, looking through all the locations in that game reveals that while there is a carousel in it, it's hilariously skinny compared to the one here. That's not even going into how it looks completely different. In fact, I think it might be a non-functional prop. So that's a dead-end.
And finally the haystack and the pumpkin, not much to say about it besides being another hint to this FALL FEST thing going on in the new era games. Now, the lantern on the other hand was something that stood out to me as there were a couple of lanterns that stood out to me in Ruin. The one in Vanny's room and the one in Roxy Raceway pt 2. Unfortunately, neither of them was a match for the lantern in the carousel minigame.
This leaves us with one last place to look for a match, Help Wanted: Dreadbear DLC. Oh? I think we might've found something! In the hub world for the DLC, the lamppost lanterns have a remarkably similar design to the lantern in Help Wanted 2. Of course, the Dreadbear lamppost lanterns are too far away to truly know if they're truly one and the same, but maybe we can find something else in this DLC.
I know exactly the one more place we can check to find a lantern, the secret basement containing the Vanny you unlock in the Corn Maze minigame. And "Ding, ding, ding ding!" We have a match! Now what it means for the carousel minigame is unknown to me at this date in time.
Possibly, there's a connection here to the Dreadbear DLC. Maybe this "game" was also a DLC to the original Help Wanted in-universe. Or maybe this scenario happened around the sametime as Dreadbear DLC depicts its FALL FEST in, 1983.
But like I said, I need to sit on this and see if I can find some other connections. Other than that, scoping through the Dreadbear DLC has given me some thoughts about certain things. I'll discuss it in the next part, so let's wrap this up.
So it's the only one available to do, you clicked on Capt. Foxy's Log Ride and saw what its pop-up window had to show you. "Set sail for adventure with Capt. Foxy! Pillage and plunder a town of Wild West landlubbers!"
What a mashup of settings were your thoughts before you clicked on TUTORIAL and were whisked away again by darkness and found yourself in the void.
Well, that unexpectedly took a while. But heads up, I'm going to be a bit busy with work so the next part is going to be slower to complete. Yet there are lots of interesting things going on here in this one to tie you all over, including a brand-new mystery for all of us to solve! Just goes to show that Help Wanted 2 just seems to have even more things for us to discover!

I’ve solved it! One of the biggest controversies in the Five Nights at Freddy’s community has been solved, The Bite of ‘83 never existed. William Afton and Henry Emily were the leading co-founders of Fazbear Entertainment. Together, they created Fredbear’s Family Diner and Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria, where they combined eating and entertainment for children’s birthday parties much like Chuck-E-Cheese in the real world. However, unlike the reputation of Chuck-E-Cheese, this story was filled with tragedy. Over the course of many establishments, many children mysteriously disappeared. One such tragedy was labeled the Bite of ‘87 and sparked a major controversy in the fandom since August of 2014. The Bite of ‘87 was the only bite that ever existed, because there was only one victim, in one year, at one location, that has ever been stated officially in this series.
The first mention of the Bite was in Five Nights at Freddy’s 1 or, FNAF 1, by an anonymous man nicknamed the Phone Guy. On the first night he says, “Uh, they used to be allowed to walk around during the day too. But then there was The Bite of '87. Yeah. I-It's amazing that the human body can live without the frontal lobe, you know?” (Five Nights at Freddy's (Video Game 2014) - IMDb, n.d.). He doesn’t go into explicit detail on what actually happened or who was involved but what we’re being led to believe is that one of the animatronics bit someone’s frontal lobe off. Not much more is mentioned as the night's progress as well as after the passing of the Phone Guy on the last night. In the second game, which was released in November of the same year, the Phone Guy is back and leaves some more questioning hints about the dangers of this new building. He says, “Uh, now that being said, no new system's without its... kinks. Uh... you're only the second guard to work at that location. Uh, the first guy finished his week but complained about... conditions. Uh, we switched him over to the day shift, so hey, lucky you, right? Uh, mainly he expressed concern that certain characters seemed to move around at night, and even attempted to get into his office.” (Contributors to Five Nights at Freddy's Wiki, n.d.-a). This led many to speculate that the guard before you, had been bitten by one of the animatronics and switched to the day shift. A lot of people backed this theory up with the fact that the paycheck at the end of FNAF 2’s date was in the year 1987 but that does not mean the other establishments couldn’t be open during this time since we’re never given a concise timeline. This game also provides very little, and FNAF 3 is no different. However, in FNAF 4, we see the official Bite of ‘87 happen in the 5th end minigame, more on that later. Before each night, we play an ongoing 8-bit minigame that shows a crying child being bullied by his older brother, Michael. At the beginning of each minigame, it displays the number of days until a party. In the 3rd end minigame, a kid that you can talk to on your way home from Fredbear’s Family Diner says, "Are you going to the party? Everyone is going to the party. Oh wait, you have to go. It's YOUR birthday! Haha!" (Contributors to Five Nights At Freddy's Wiki, n.d.). This minigame is very important for another reason, it displays the very thing that started all of the controversy. When you get to the house, you can watch the TV in the living room and it will display the Fredbear and Friends show/ad. The TV then, displays the date “1983” making people assume that the game takes place in this year making the Bite on Night 5, the Bite of ‘83. However, this date could’ve simply been the year that Fredbear’s was established, considering we aren’t given much information about it. On the night 5 end minigame is the party, the crying child gets surrounded by Michael and his friends who lift him up to Fredbear who is performing on stage. They shove his head into Fredbears mouth who chomps down, biting off his frontal lobe. The child goes limp and the game ends, giving us the only glimpse of the Bite in the entire series.
Back when FNAF 2 was released, many speculated that the victim of the Bite was the nightguard before you but if the victim was the night guard, why would they be sent to the dayshift? Losing your frontal lobe would leave you in the hospital, possibly disabling you from getting a job in the future because of paralysis and loss of fine motor function. The phone call never mentions that the nightguard was harmed, just that they complained about the animatronics. The only solid evidence we’ve gotten of the Bite is once again from the night 5 end minigame in FNAF 4 making the crying child the victim of the Bite of ‘87. This child is one of William Afton’s children. Moreover, during the events of FNAF 4, the crying child is followed around by a Fredbear plush that speaks to him and watches his every move, he is also the last character the child speaks to in the game, more on that later. We see this plushie again in the game FNAF: Sister Location, there is a secret room at the end of the game that you can get into that not only has the Fredbear plush but a walkie-talkie as well and cameras that show the FNAF 4-bedroom that the crying child occupied. We know through multiple books and games that the sister location took place underneath the Afton household. Through these clues and voice lines in the sister location, we can infer that William Afton was the one speaking to his son throughout FNAF 4. It is also through the sister location that we learn that Afton’s daughter, Elizabeth, got too close to the Funtime animatronics causing her to be scooped up by Circus Baby through her stomach hatch, this is why in the crying child’s nightmare he sees the animatronics with stomach mouths. This child is once again, the only official victim we know of that suffered a bite from one of these animatronics. In the Night 6 end minigame, we aren’t in the bedroom anymore instead we’re in a black void speaking to the Fredbear plush telling us that we are broken and we will be put back together.
Many theorists pointed out that if the child lost his frontal lobe as the phone guy says, he would not be getting up to check on monsters or be having nightmares in general. According to Queensland Government/Health, frontal lobes are important for voluntary movement, expressive language, and managing higher-level executive functions. It refers to skills of planning, organizing, initiating, self-monitoring, and controlling one’s responses to achieve a goal. The frontal lobes are the human's behavior and emotional control center, and also the home of our personality (Brain Map Frontal Lobes, n.d.). They also go on to list the consequences of injuring this part of your brain which include, “Loss of spontaneity in interacting with others, Inability to express language (Broca's Aphasia), Loss of flexibility in thinking and persistence of a single idea or behavior (Perseveration)” All of these can be seen in the crying child, he doesn’t initiate anything with any of the other characters, he doesn’t speak or respond, and keeps repeating the nightmares we see especially in the night 6 end minigame. Some of the biggest issues with harming your frontal lobe is the possibility of paralysis and lack of emotional responses, which would not only keep this child from getting up but it would also inhibit him from having these nightmares in the first place. So, if he had no frontal lobe, why would he still be scared of these animatronics? His soul is still fighting these fears, not his physical body. In the Night 6 end minigame, after the Bite, we see the crying child talking to his Fredbear plushie and they are in an unidentified black void, this is unlike the rest of the minigames which all take place in the real outside world. This child is not in his room anymore, he is stuck in his own mind hence why the background is empty. Be that as it may, this does not mean that he’s dead, he is being tormented by his own memories and fears much like “The Man In Room 1280.” The story goes a priest, named Arthur, is helping a severe burn victim (who many have speculated to be William Afton, himself) cross over and find peace before he dies. Arthur is shown the man’s REM patterns, or rapid eye movements during sleep. REM patterns are your eyes moving behind your eyelids while you’re dreaming, particular REM patterns can indicate nightmares. (Cleveland Clinic medical professional, n.d.). The burned victim is actively dreaming which is confirmed on page 145, and again on pages 151-152, “Arthur focused on the sagittal scan, which showed the man’s brain profile. There he could see what looked like two different colors or textures in each area… “The doctors believe each lobe of this man’s brain has two distinct electromagnetic signals…” as well as, “Two signals... means two living things. Two entities. They are vying for control of the brain… We think they’re tormenting each other.” (Cawthon, 2020, 145-152). In FNAF 1, we learn about The Missing Children’s incident in which 5 children were killed and stuffed inside of the animatronics leading these children to possess all of the 5 animatronics in freddy fazbear’s pizza; Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, and Golden Freddy/Fredbear who appears more like a phantom. The child who was stuffed into Fredbear was Cassidy, who we learn from voice lines in the game Ultimate Custom Night, is considered “The one you should not have killed” in other words she is a vengeful spirit. Through the epilogues also known as the Stitchwraith Stingers of the Fazbear Frights book series, we learn of a vengeful spirit named Andrew who seems to be a parallel to Cassidy, torturing the man who hurt him. In the epilogue of Fazbear Frights #4: Step Closer, Andrew says, “But I do remember wanting to get back at someone who hurt me. I think I attached myself to him. I got into his soul, made sure he couldn’t move on when he shoulda died. I remember I wanted him to suffer, the way he made me suffer.” and later on the same page, “I remember they tried to kill him. But I wasn’t going to let him go until I was ready.” (Parra et al., 2020b, 217). This is undeniable proof that Andrew was torturing the man in room 1280 because pages 179-187 and 192-196 describe how the three nurses, Colton, Ackermen, and Thomas, tried to kill the man but were distracted and stopped by a mysterious shadow child. All the while, this man was alive and dreaming just like the crying child.
The only time that the Bite of ‘83 has been referenced is as a theory. An entire page of The Ultimate Guide is dedicated to this theory. Page 54 says, “In the Night 3 minigame, the TV plays a show with a 1983 copyright date.” This date could easily have been the year that Fredbear’s Family Diner was established and not the year that the game takes place. Later on, it says, “In the Private Room of Sister Location… A secret keypad on the wall has the passcode “1983”; the keypad brings up a security camera feed… of the FNAF 4 house.” Seeing as the date 1983 could be a reference to when Fredbear’s was established, it would hold a lot of importance to Afton so he could make it an easy passcode to not only type in quickly but also remember. Another point that is brought up on this page is, “The Bite of ‘87 forced management to introduce new rules for the animatronics. If Fredbear was stationary at the time of the Bite, why restrict the animatronics’ movement?” (Cawthon, 2021, 54). The bite was a freak accident that happened because a group of children were messing around with a clunky animatronic, to keep that from happening again, it would be safer for the animatronics to remain stationary so they could stay away from children making it less likely to happen again. Another big complaint is that the Phone Guy says that the victim survived, although we are led to believe that the crying child died at the end of FNAF 4, that isn't true. The crying child could be in a similar situation to the man in room 1280 because it says that he has brain activity and we know that from the fact that Arthur can see his REM pattern as well as communicate with him throughout the story. During the events of FNAF 4, the child has dreams as well as listens and understands the things that are being said to him. We are also given example after example of how both Henry and William create robot versions of their own children throughout both the books and the games, so even if their physical bodies died, they can live on in a robotic body for eternity.
In conclusion, the crying child was bitten by Fredbear in 1987 at Fredbear’s Family Diner on his birthday. He has been the only victim we’ve seen that has been canonically bitten by one of the animatronics in the games and there has only ever been one bite mentioned officially. Therefore the Bite of ‘83 never happened. But in the words of Matpat, that’s just a theory, a game theory, thanks for reading

This we can agree on... Right?
We all know the cannon ending for SB is the PQ ending, right? And if you don't agree then you clearly didn't notice how the ONLY ending that doesn't have a comic strip in RUIN is the PQ ending or that PQ3 is on its side with the sword sticking out and a PQ enemy on the wall in AR or even the fact that the Mega Plex was "Destroyed in a earthquake" or that Ruined Freddy lays exactly where Freddy's shattered body lies in the PQ ending or that PQ ending has 3 stars. Do not bring up the whole thing of Ruined Freddy having "PROTOTYPE" printed on his foot making him Not the original Freddy BECAUSE SWS made a post on twitter.com stating "It was a last minute change." in response to the whole thing, not to mention in SB Vanessa says "Monty will run the shows until parts and services put your casing on a new endo." I understand that we can play PQ4 in HW2 BUT the potentially cannon ending shows "Mask Bot" giving cassie the mask from the bots perspective, now this could mean 1 of 2 things:
  1. Gregory is the person we play as in HW2 (at the end of RUIN Gregory says "I've been trying to reach you all night" and there's a rare secret in Roxy Raceway where the staff bot says "Cassie? Cassie? Are you there Cassie?" Now to end this I want to mention a couple of secret voice lines I came across during a couple of my playthroughs of RUIN:
  1. Chica, Cupcake AR, "I'm Melting" now this most likely would mean Chica was never Shattered in SB. So considering the fact that Chica's Voice Box is found in Cupcake, the "Fazbear Cleanup Crew" most likely ripped her Voice Box out because as said in the note in SB "Her new voice box is messing with the other bots." the note is "Don't Let Her Sing" so most likely to stop Chica from interfering with the cleanup they removed her voice box.
  2. Cassie, Lobby Elevator, "That was close. I almost got turned into a Cassie sandwich."

State Road (SR) 5/Overseas Highway from MM 97.0 to MM 100.0
New Traffic Pattern Continues through June.
Daytime Shoulder Closures Continue.
New Traffic Pattern:
  • New traffic pattern continues along northbound SR 5/Overseas Highway between MM 97 and MM 98.
  • Speed limit reduced to 35 MPH.
  • Two northbound lanes at approximately MM 97.6 remain shifted, to allow crews to perform drainage improvements.
  • Access to residents and businesses will be maintained at all times. Please see traffic shift graphic below for reference.
  • Please follow all posted signage and note that drivers might experience delays traveling through the area.
Shoulder Closure Information:
  • Daytime shoulder closures will occur Monday through Friday weekly.

Nighttime single lane closures begin May 12.
Lane Closure Information:
  • Beginning Sunday, May 12 nighttime single lane closures will occur in both northbound and southbound directions on the Tea Table Relief Bridge.
  • Activities will occur Sundays through Thursdays, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • During this time, flaggers will stop traffic in one direction to allow traffic from the opposite direction to pass. One lane will remain open to traffic at all times.

Contractor to begin sidewalk replacement at various locations.
Lane Closure/Detour Information:
  • Temporary single lane closures and sidewalk detours will be in place, Mondays through Thursdays between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
State Road (SR) 5/Overseas Highway from Mile Marker (MM) 19.4 to MM 19.8, from MM 20.6 to MM 23.1, and from MM 26.2 to MM 27.4
Contractor to continue with installation of road support structures near MM 21.1 and 22.6. Drainage structure installation near MM 21.4 is ongoing. Construction of the temporary pathway from MM 26.2 to MM 26.7 continues.
Lane Closure/Detour Information:
  • The speed limit is reduced to 35 mph along SR 5/US 1/Overseas Highway between MM 20.5 and MM 23 on Cudjoe Key, and between MM 26.2 and MM 26.7 on Ramrod Key.
  • The existing southbound temporary lane shift at approximately MM 21.1 remains in place. Southbound traffic is shifted into the center turning lane, and a single travel lane in each direction remains open.
  • Southbound traffic shifts to the center at approximately MM 22.6. Additional access to businesses located between Cutthroat Drive and Pirates Road is available via La Fitte Drive.
  • From the north end of Niles Channel Bridge, approximately MM 26.2, to Mako Avenue at MM 26.7, there is a lane shift and width reduction to accommodate the temporary Florida Keys Overseas Heritage Trail reconstruction in this area.
  • Nighttime paving activities will occur Mondays through Thursdays, from 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. During this time, flaggers will stop traffic in one direction to allow traffic from the opposite direction to pass. One lane will remain open to traffic at all times.

  • No detours are anticipated this week. However, two travel lanes are temporarily closed and travel is reduced to a single lane in each direction.
  • There is no parking on the south side of the roadway within the construction zone.
  • Use crosswalks and pathway to stairways for beach access.
  • Please be advised that temporary road closures may occur when heavy rains cause significant ponding on the roadway.
