There are many reasons for this endless onslaught of pushing and overnormalizing everything that is gay, trans, and pedophilic. The Illuminati itself is comprised of around 13 bloodlines which are all hereditary incestuous and pedophilic families. So when you hear their puppets telling the joke "The Aristocrats" (LINK) which consists of so called comedians telling the most disgusting tale of an Aristocratic bloodline family having sex with each other and ending with "And they're called The Aristocrats", you'll know they're utilizing Revelation of the Method and putting it right out in the open as a "joke". The Illuminati utilizes Satanic Ritual Abuse and pedophilic incest in order to deliberately cause trauma to their progeny so that they can split their personalities and then program and control the new personality. Children are still trying to figure out who they really are as a person, and by indoctrinating them with gender confusion propaganda at such a young age we are ensuring they will be steered in the wrong direction. By the way, when I was searching for examples of LGBTQ books with sexual content, I had to scroll through 3 pages of LGBTQ apologist articles decrying about all these "banned LGBTQ books". What's interesting is that all of these CIA Mockingbird Media propaganda articles always say the books are being banned for their LGBTQ content, not for their explicit sexual content (which doesn't necessarily have to be gay or trans in any way). This also made me think about the real meaning of the term "Cis" which basically means "Normal" or "Same Gender As Assigned At Birth". "Cis" is pronounced the same as "Sis" (Sister), and can be expanded to "Cissy" / "Sissy" (Wimp). Also, "Cis" backwards is "Sic" or "Sick". So basically when you're called "Cis" gender, you're being called a woman, a wimp, and sick, all because you chose to remain a heterosexual during this assault on what it means to be a human. Also, this goes without saying, and it goes to all people not just LGBTQ: stop sexually abusing children. This is the most unnatural sexual depravity you can possibly take part in. You're destroying innocence and you're destroying lives. And you're just continuing the cycle of abuse, since it does appear that many pedophiles were also sexually abused when they were children (Jeffrey Epstein got really uncomfortable and refused to answer when he was asked about his own sexual abuse as a child). Finally, I will again reiterate that there's no problem with being gay, lesbian, bisexual, non binary, transgender, etc. However, the specific group called LGBTQ is an extremist organization of The Illuminati which is pushing Satanic agendas as part of the New World Order. Courtney Martin - FY101 freshman fall. utterly useless class (was an undeclared major so took it hoping to get some guidance, basically got nothing out of it.) very chill instructor though, no issues there, just waste of time.
Scott Possiel - WR120 freshman fall and WR152 freshman spring, grad student teacher. pretty chill and class was interesting (mediterranean religion [roman religions]), learned strong amount about writing. no complaints, hope he's on to great things.
Alexander Nikolaev - CL/208LX208 freshman fall. awesome class on zoom, funny and knowledgeable dude, learned so much about about indo-european linguistics, and sparked basically all my interest about linguistics. assignments were fun and refreshing. one of my favorite professors at BU despite only having had one class with him, unfortunately he disappeared (left?) after 2020 and I have no idea why, nor did any of my classmates. lucky to have had his last BU class in first semester of freshman year.
Christine Papadakis - CS112 freshman fall. her ratemyprofessor 1.9 score says enough, bad at explaining topics, strange class vibes, pretty unhelpful. seems like a nice person though. main reason i did not continue with compsci after 1 semester at BU, class wasn't too difficult (got B+ and could have done better if i tried harder) but it was so utterly boring it was the dread of every week and genuinely difficult to find any will to do work for it. lectures were insufferably boring, especially on replay when studying. avoid her at all costs.

special shoutout to Alyssa Kranc - TF for CH101, grad student. actual angel sent from heaven to guide the class thru the horror that was CH101 with thomas keyes. great at explanations, patient, and brought good vibes. i actually really liked chemistry and it was only thru Alyssa's help and lab review meeting things that I learned anything in this class and got an A. stephen scully - hi406 senior spring. no interest in the subject (iliad translations) when i joined class and minimal interest in the subject as I leave the class (and BU). chill professor, but grades harshly and requires a lot of writing. cold calls often. class was also quite unorganized for entire first half. in terms of material, honestly a lot of stuff in class felt quite arbitrary in understanding (as is probably the case with most literature classes, which i did not take outside of this). recommend if you really love classical literature / mythology / philology (or anything humanities), don't recommend for classical history (or anything social sciences).
Rui Hua - HI364 junior fall, HI370 junior spring, HI553 senior fall. the most energetic, fun, chill professor i've had at BU, every lecture was a blast and even if i went to class in a bad mood it was impossible to leave without a smile on my face. took us on field trips to relevant destinations when possible. I had the first 3 classes he's ever taught as a professor ever (I think), and it definitely showed bc they were somewhat unorganized or ad hoc. but i am sure his teaching will only get better as time progresses, learned a lot and had a great time in all his classes, he does cover some overlapping material in them so if u take them u might repeat some stuff. also super lenient on deadlines but i do not encourage delaying all of them to the last minute as I did like an idiot. easy classes overall, but if you like the subject he definitely is encouraging for those who want to learn more. recommend.

I was playing through Dead Space 2 for the first time in a while and I noticed some details in the school in chapter 6 that narrow down the date that the game takes place.
As you walk in, there's a board where children wrote their favorite things they did over the school year, which suggests we're late in the school year. On the other side, there's a poster for a show called "The Metamorphosis" (dramatic irony moment) set to be put on at 19:00 on May 10th and 19:30 on May 13th. As you get further in, there's a poster for a show called "Galactilot" being put on by the 4th graders on May 3rd, 5th, and 10th. The sign above the door to the auditorium says that the show is happening after lunch (assumedly the day that the game takes place). The set for Galactilot can be seen immediately after this, with the lights and music on (where Isaac Clarke gets jump scared by the sun). This suggests that the outbreak happened during the show, forcing the actors and audience to flee. This would put the events of the game after lunch on May 3rd, 5th, or 10th of 2511. A teacher report found when exiting the school says that kids were having visions which hurt their concentration over the course of the 3rd semester. I assume this is supposed to mean the 3rd marking period (schools typically have 4, with the 3rd ending in mid-April. This would make the report a month old by the events of the game).
We can speculate to narrow down the date. Having the outbreak happen the same day that a show called "The Metamorphosis" is some great dramatic irony. The only day where Galactilot and The Metamorphosis were both supposed to be shown is May 10th. Since the decorations for Galactilot as still up, we can assume that the outbreak reached the school between lunch (probably around 12:00) and 19:00 when the next show was supposed to start. So the best time/date I can give for the start of the game based on chapter 6 is between 12:00-19:00 on May 10, 2511.
Oddly, when you finish this section the intercom says "recess is over" even though the class schedules on the wall CLEARLY state that recess is way before lunch. However, this is not the discrepancy that I'm talking about. The real contradiction is right when you leave the elementary school and enter the transportation hub. On the hologram when talking with Ellie and Stross, there's the one confirmed date and time in the game, it reads "00:21:41:29 2/7/2511" with the timer counting up. It Appears that this part of the game is about 20 minutes after midnight, which is consistent with the departure times listed in the room. While one may assume 2/7/2511 means February 7th because an American company made the game, some screens on the Ishumura do say "Last serviced: 19-09-42", which only makes sense with the day-month-year arrangement. Then again, the class D cargo lifts say that they were last serviced 11-09-2757 (over 2 centuries after the games take place), so make of that what you will.
tl;dr: While we know the game takes place in 2511 (500 years after the real world release date), chapter 6 gives us 2 contradictory dates for when the game takes place. The elementary school points towards May 10th, while the date and time on a hologram communication in the hub points towards the events of the game taking place from February 6th-7th (M-D-Y) or July 1st-2nd (D-M-Y). While this is a minor issue, it would be nice to have things be more consistent in the remake.

My daughter is doing youth volleyball right now. She's on a team of 3rd and 4th graders and been playing for like 8 weeks. My wife and I are also coaching her team despite knowing nothing about coaching or playing volleyball.
The regular season was...not great. They only won one match out of five, and lost a couple by pretty large margins. But they showed improvement and they were working hard.
Today was their tournament and if I'm really honest I didn't expect them to do great. In the seeding round they were 3-1 and ended up 5th seed out of 6 teams.

Imagine being told the house would take 10-13 months to build. And then imagine being assigned a crappy construction manager named Kevin Thornton and waiting 18+ months for the completion of your home, who seemed to only been hired because his brother Chris Thornton was already a construction manager for the company.
Being told 4 false closing dates. Having to lose a good interest rate because they don’t know how to build a house within a reasonable time. I’ve seen whole apartment complexes built in the time we’ve been waiting.
Having to reach out to said construction manager and the sale consultant Zac Davidson every single month to get an update when you were told you would get an update roughly every two weeks. Being lied to every single month. Trish is also a dishonest unprofessional woman who constantly dodges phone calls and lies about everything.
Finding a crappy job being done in the primary bathroom shower and them having to rip it out and start over again, because part of the shower wall was bowing out into a triangle shape and the small square tiles were not flat and straight with tons of extra grout around them. Having a crappy grading job where 1/3 of the back yard is unusable. And nothing can be done about it, Holiday Builders just loves cheap labor.
Going through a full roll of blue painters tape to point out all the flaws in the construction, where the manager will run out of tape, but luckily we brought some to continue using half the roll. And they still didn’t fix everything the first go around, where we had to call them back multiple times to fix the issues described at the first walkthrough, after closing. You’ll find paint on every single door handle in the house. And paint splatter all over your floors. Different caulking colors used on the countertops right next to each other. You’ll ask them to paint the water access water into the home because it looked like crap the first time and then they’ll make it worse and also paint the grass and gutter runoff as well because they simple don’t give a hoot about anything.
They even had to rip up two parts of the yard to have water and septic lines in place inspected because they forgot and now we’re stuck with even more shitty grading and yard work because of that.
They’ll schedule exterior stuff after laying sod down that end up leaving the yard dug up and not manicured and looking like trash. And then you’ll wait weeks for them to come fix it.
They give you a smart door lock that’s supposed to come with the Rekeying tool, but they won’t give it to you for unspecified reasons, even though you paid for it. You’ll ask if the front door lock is a smart/Wi-Fi compatible one. They’ll say no, but after reading the manual you’ll find out it is. They don’t even know how the products they’re installing works!
Being told a shower door for the primary bathroom isn’t even included after finding out 1 week before closing, seems like their architects failed physics, because water still gets out the shower with a door there if it’s it recessed. Finding out that something as inexpensive as cabinet handles are not included and finding out after the first walkthrough that they’re an “expensive upgrade”, when it was never mentioned during the upgrades selection. Why would I upgrade to 42” upper cabinets and soft close but not op for handles, does that make sense to you. Paying nearly 400k for a house and they can’t even do these simple thing’s correctly or offer these simple things as standard. Every single one of these trades and construction managers need glasses because I do not honestly understand how you can be proud of your work and let customers find this type of garbage work.
We were so fed up with this process we ended up just fixing all of the issues ourselves. Don’t build with them unless you’re okay with paying for upgrades on basic things that should be standard and you’ll have to ask the construction managers like they’re a 4th grader if they completed their homework. And having to do all the basic touch ups yourselves. It’s extremely frustrating and sad that I can’t be excited about being my first home because of this shitty fucking experience. Also any response to this review will be taken as passive aggressive, if you state that this was taken care of because it wasn’t, everything still looks like shit.

I took the GRE twice. My first score was VR: 149, QR: 152, AW: 4.0. My second score was VR:153, QR: 154, AW: 0. I wanted to apply to PA school by the end of June but idk if this will force me to apply later. Is the score review worth it? Should I just bite the bullet and retake it or wait for the review and potentially waste more time if they decide to give me a 0 in the end? I am a native english speaker and I have a bachelors so I doubt I wrote something so shit that it got me a 0. The only thing I could think of is I restated the prompt in my thesis and the grader could have associated this with plagiarism. I feel like I did this the first time and ended up with a 4. I am extremely frustrated and desperate for any advice. ETS is not very helpful with their vague responses. Also, can I say, “LLM groupies???” Result: 1284.3778
I blamed myself again for not looking at my options hard enough. Clearly, the group classes didn’t do it for me. The inadequacy! This time it stung even more. A job offer evaporated. The inadequacy doubled down! Just like at the end of 1L, I said to myself, you gotta do your homework!
The result of the deep research: Jay Bijlani, a former bar grader with a personal tutoring program. It. Just. All. Made. Sense. The class got to writing down the teacher's instructions, but all of them were still subtly observing Abhi like vultures eyeing their prey. I gave my first grader’s teacher a small gift for Teacher Appreciation Week, but I want to do more. I recognize I’ve gotta hard kid lol. She’s been really good to him and I want to give her $50. I would do a store gift card but I don’t know what she likes. And I detest paying convenience fees on the Visa/discover gift cards.
Is it tacky if I write her a nice card and stick a 50 in it? I was a teacher for 6 years and never got cash so not sure of the standard here. But my son cries ALOT and this woman deserves money for how understanding/patient she was with him.

i just got my score back from the May DSAT and honestly its quite a bit lower than i was expecting, in my score breakdown i had missed craft and structure and command of evidence and in math i missed algebra and geometry and trigonometry.
heres my practice tests for context, and i got a 1470 on my PSAT 10 this april (i'm a 10th grader)

maybe i was hoping for some kind of miracle lol but 1500 didnt seem too far in my eyes. i want a 1550+ for sure and i was hoping i would be done by june. i was reflecting on how my test went and i dont think i lost points due to test taking stress or being in a new environment necessarily. i took the october SAT expecting a 1250-1300 and ended up with a 1350 so i was hoping that the adrenaline would help me again lol.
on the reading section i tend to struggle with the sciencey/graph questions because i can never figure out what theyre even asking me quick enough, and the vocab section can trip me up a bit.
as for math idk i just have to pray i dont make silly mistakes in module one and for module two i tend to have like 4-5 questions, and then i have to pick 2-3 to complete because i just dont have the time to finish the others. i use desmos a ton but i always check my answers, is it worth skipping that step for an extra 3 minutes on the hard questions? also any tips for what to do when youre completely lost on a problem? i guess the first step is the hardest
anyways i only have two weeks until the june SAT and im not completely sure how to keep prepping. i've used all the bluebook tests and reviewed them so heavily i dont think theres any point in reusing them because ill know the questions.

I (18) have been working at this big clothing store since last November, so for around 6 months now and it's my first job. It's a lot of work and minimal wage, but with flexible schedule and great location I like it a lot, especially since I will be finishing high school only in 2025, and I thought about working there until I finish it. Another thing I like (liked?) about it and which makes (made?) me like my job so much was great atmosphere between coworkers, as well as with managers and supervisor. I thought I'm doing great and that my coworkers consider me a friend too, at least at work, but now I think I might've overestimated myself in this regard.
This Wednesday my friend, who is also my coworker, showed me a group chat with our other coworkers, laughing at one of the messages there, unaware that something just broke inside me. It's basically a group chat and a few people were active at that moment, but I assume it's about 15-20 people there, considering that 5 were active in that moment, in the middle of the day. I was aware before of the existence of one small group chat, containing people with more seniority than me in the shop, and I thought that was fair because they knew each other longer, but in that conversation I've seen people who started working there with, or even after me, the ones who I considered my good work friends too.
It added itself to my insecurities a lot, considering how I started high school in 2021 with severe depression, not really making any real human connections during that time, and now, as a third grader I still don't have anyone close at school. Now I'm better and I thought I was doing very well with my coworkers, that it was a great start in new environment for me and I can finally feel included - apparently, feeling wasn't mutual, and even if they like me, it's not enough to consider me "their circle".
The messages my friend showed me, were of people half-heartedly laughing at a mistake which a new person at work (working for about a month now) made, basically just sharing gossip with each other. It hurt me even more, as I myself made the very same mistake a few months ago because I didn't know any better.
Up until this week I thought that even if I make a mistake I don't have to worry for being judged, especially as as a worker I am one of the ones with better statistics, but now I am just anxious. I am a pretty decent speed puzzler (35m-1h for 500 pieces) although I mostly do cartoon-style puzzles and not a lot of Ravensburger. My biggest worry though, is that no-one I know likes speed puzzling, and there are not a lot of competitions in my country (Netherlands) so not a lot of chances to meet other puzzlers. So, if I go to Spain, it would be by myself. Although I studied abroad for half a year, this would also be my first completely solo vacation.
How is it to go there alone? Is it easy to connect with others or do people mostly stick with their own groups? Are there things organised at the event besides the speed puzzling competitions themselves? Also, is there much to do in terms of sightseeing in/near Valladolid?

Henry (Vecna) sees a knowingly shadowy thing like a spider. It was the Mind Flayer.

Today when my husband brought our older swimmers home from practice, my 13yo daughter, who has just joined her 16 and 14yo brothers in the highest group, found me in the office and immediately bursts into tears. Shes supposed to be in high school to be in this group but because she’s had so many qualifying times, they’ve allowed her to join as an 8th grader in her spring semester.
Morning practices are 5-6:30AM 3x/week plus evening practices every week day 4-6:30PM 3x/ week and 4-7:15 2x week. Then Saturday mornings from 7AM-11AM. On morning practices, it’s straight from the pool, back home to shower and then off to school. The group she was in before this was 4-6PM/4-7PM through the week and 7AM-10AM on Saturdays. When she insisted that we let her move up, we agreed to let her try it and asked her to please let us know if it was too much.
I asked her: “Did you tell papa?” and she said that she didn’t. She didn’t want to tell him in front of her brothers because she didn’t want them to think that she was a baby. I asked her if she knew how proud her brothers were of her for trying this, as are me and my husband. At the last meet of the semester, she won 3 medals (2 silvers in individual events + gold in a relay). She swam the last leg of a very competitive relay and held onto first place for her team against a 9th grader. Nobody would think she was a baby for this being too much for her. She has given her best effort all semester long. It really hurt my heart to have this kid sobbing in my arms telling me how tired she was. I don’t want her to hate swimming and I told her that she can absolutely go back down to her previous group and nobody in this family would be disappointed. She can stay in that group until 11th grade. She’s concerned about what going back to the previous group would look like to the people she left in her old group…she thinks it would be as though she couldn’t roll with “the big dogs.” That’s what she said. I don’t see it that way, but I’m also 43. I think it’s very mature to prioritize one’s own needs in a matter like this.
But..I played my sport through college and I went through times of being absolutely sick of it. Literally on all fours at 6AM throwing up. I still love it. I understand that some of this stuff is cyclical. And I really do sympathize with this, and my husband and I have zero issues with supporting her moving back down but I think the challenge is getting her out of her own way with going back down to her previous group. She’s very concerned about the judgment. Even after that meltdown, she still wants to stick with it through the end of the summer and see how she feels going into high school. I don’t know. I halfway want to tell her we’re moving her back down and that’s that but I also really respect and understand that she wants to try. I want to encourage discipline and work ethic and resilience but I also don’t want her to have a very avoidable mental health breakdown @13/14. She’ll have plenty of time to have an existential crisis about her sport in college. And not being in this group as an 8th grader or even as a freshman in high school is not a deal breaker for swimming in college.

Besides gaining some new big responsibilities and having to deal with the pressure of being a sophomore, I had also experienced some major internal family issues as well, I had always kept those feelings and problems to myself, not telling anyone else outside of my family, but for whatever reason, it felt like at that point, the dam just broke open (if you know what I mean). I also have (high-functioning) autism which probably doesn’t help a whole lot either.
At that time, I had realized that life (and people) wasn’t all as cracked up as I once thought it was, I was depressed and unmotivated to do the things that previously made me happy, overwhelmed, and even made it to the point of fantasizing myself in different scenarios where I commit suicide.
However, most of that had at least been alleviated or completely taken away when I heard one particular song. That song was “Scream With Me” by Mudvayne.
Now, I had heard plenty of songs that stood out or sounded really emotional to me, but that song was different. Because not only did the instrumentals connect with me, but the lyrics also did that! From what I can remember, this was also the first song that full-on spoke out to me both musically and lyrically.
Since then, I’ve been doing a lot better :). I’ve learned to communicate my struggles to the people closest to me and told them what made me uncomfortable, which they were kind enough to tend to my need, I’ve broken out of my suicidal ideation and found ways to keep myself busy and work around things, I’ve since looked for music that focused much more on the emotion and feeling rather than the technical aspects, and on top of all that, I’ll be graduating from 10th grade and become an 11th grader soon!

I’ve honestly had nothing but trouble with this NUC from the very beginning of last February. At first it was bad ram (verified by memtest86 then 1.5yrs of solid performance. Now that I wanted to upgrade the ram to 64gb as 16gb wasn’t cutting it, it’s been one system lockup after another.
I tested the ram in memtest86 for 48hrs, no errors, and then after booting into windows earlier, the system completely locks up after about 30-45mins.
I ran memtest86 again, and it completely froze up during the first test and now my system won’t even turn on.
I’ve tried swapping memory and have removed everything including SSD and all peripherals (even display) and the system will NOT turn on after memtest86 froze.
Further more, Intel doesn’t recognize my system config (picture attached) and their nuc support site is about as intuitive as a map drawn by a group of 2nd graders after 5 espressos.
Anyone have any suggestions on what to try?
Just frustrated and am about to chuck this POS across the street… 😩

I just got back from taking 432 8th graders to Great America. My school gave me 4 hours of adjunct duty. I feel like I lost 5 years of my life and got 15 new grey hairs. Hey atleast i got a luke warm hot dog and soggy fries…
I go every year to send off my students, but a theme park full of multiple schools of hormonal teenagers is quite the experience. Every year i think this will be a great idea. Then when I get home 15 hours later I’m like what was i thinking… but seeing a kid from a migrant family in a rural city see a roller coaster for the first time 10/10 recommend.

Today was my 5th graders state mandated end of the year test. I was told earlier in the year that my state was going to start implementing "adaptive testing" where they look at the previous tests students took and give them an EOY test based off those results. In other words, if the students scores were bad, they would get an "easier" form and if the students scores were good, they would get the "harder" form.
I knew this would be bullshit from the first moment I heard of this plan. I thought that these tests were supposedly being used to measure students against their peers and I didn't think it was fair for any of my students to get a harder test.
I know that we aren't supposed to look at the test questions BUT WE ALL DO and I was right to be concerned. My higher students had some unbelievably hard questions. The wording was unlike any other state test that I had seen and I would say these questions were AT LEAST on a 6th grade level. They weren't basic questions, but were more in depth and required a lot of reflection and inferencing.
My higher students were devastated and exhausted. My lower student said it was one of the easiest they'd ever taken.
My lower students were over prepared and my higher ones were under prepared. And I am livid.
Even if they have a special algorithm to make sure my higher students pass, it still isn't fair to put them through feeling like failures.

For a small bit of context- I was homeschooled my whole life prior to starting public highschool this year as an 11th grader, so this is my first real experience with public school. I was expecting the kids in my classes to be at the very least somewhat mature and respectful to their teachers even if they did none of the work. I was also expecting to be well behind most other students in every subject, but so far I have experienced quite the opposite to a surprising degree.
The amount of cheating, plagiarism, laziness, AI use, and overall lack of care or respect I’ve seen from students is much much worse than I could have ever expected and I am genuinely surprised how half this school is even passing.
It has taken visible tolls on all of my teachers over the course of this year. 2024.05.18 01:48 WHYIAMCALM I got concrete confirmation that the guy in my freshman class last year was the same one who caused me so much stress and hurt during 6th grade. Long, no tldr
This is long. No tldr. I wrote this while crying for an hour.
It was September, and I was 11 and in 6th grade. I got on the bus, and was stopped by this kid I'll call Dean. He was much shorter than me, who was 5' 6" at the time. "You're so tall" etc, etc. I walked by him and sat in my usual spot next to the window. The bus started moving, and he was talking with some other kids on the bus.
Then, he sat down next to me, trapping me in. I was drawing on my phone, and he asked, and I showed him, (I was very nervous + had/have a lot of social anxiety.) He made small talk with me for a while. My bus was the last stop on the route. His the stop before. Before he left, he asked me for my number. I texted my mom, as asking permission to give someone my number was a rule she gave me. She can I could give it to him if I trusted him. I was too scared to say no to him, who was blocking my way, and I didn't know. I gave it to him. Learned his name was Dean.
The next day, things went routinely for me, until my last class got out. I was walking down the 8th graders' hallway, when he saw me. (note, he was 13-14, I, again, 11) He walked up to me, and offered to carry my stuff. I declined. I walked down to the 6th graders' hallway to my locker. He followed me the whole time. I was embarassed, and scared. Again, he sat next to me on the bus.
The third day was a repeat of this. Until after I got home. He texted a confession of love, the stress of which left me spiralling. The next two days, I was physically sick, and trying to calm down. I felt too embarassed to tell my mom about him. During those two days, he was constantly calling and texting me, until I reached my breaking point, and I gave him a basic rejection speech. He called immediatly after. Asking if we could still be friends. I, the scared and unprepared kid, said yes.
He never got on the bus again after that. (I hypothesize that the only reason he ever took the bus on the 2nd + 3rd day was because of me, as I never saw him before or after on my bus.) After this, I only saw him twice, during transition periods between classes. And I thought after that, that I wouldn't have to worry about him.
But I did. On the first day I saw his back. I thought it was him, but he would've been a junior, which made no sense bc the first day of school was only for freshman. I didn't come across him again, until my 3rd quarter of freshman year.
I was sitting at lunch with 2 of my lunch friends, when he suddenly approached the table. Said that he had just gotten back from a suspension after a fight. I had transitioned at the start of freshman year, and he didn't recognise me. I was uncomfortable. Staying quiet, I let everyone else at the table talk to him, and I took note of the information he openly gave out.
Eventually, I was too scared to eat lunch in the lunchroom. At this point, I still hadn't told anyone about him. I spiraled again after this. I ended up ghosting my 2 lunch friends, who although they didn't like him, I didn't want to seem crazy for bring up what happened in 6th, and just dissappeared. I ate lunch in a different room. With the stress I was going through, I stated physically stimming, hitting my knuckles together, tearing through paper with my pencil, and having panic attacks. Eventually my therapist recommended that I needed to stay out of school for some time. The only way I could get a prolonged abscence excuses was in six week intervals. For the entire 4th quarter of my freshman year, I spent alone. I ghosted all of my classmates, friends, and aquaintences. I decided, with professional recommendation not to return, and instead start being homeschooled.
Over the past year, I have made piece with losing friendships with people I knew in grade school, that I would never have a normal high school life going forward, and all this time, I had still ocasionally thought and gaslit myself on if it was really him, and if I ruined my normal teen life for no reason at all.
Today, my older brother's yearbook arrived. Dean was in it.(18 now) and still a freshman. The relief I felt, and frustration that I hadn't gotten my younger self (14 at the time, 15 now) to confront him has resurfaced. Looking back, I see that he was likely lonely and clingy, but that doesn't excuse what he put me, an 11 year old through. I don't think he will pull it together though. I believe that the high school kicks people out at 21, so I think it's very unlikely that he will graduate in the next couple of years.
Thank you for reading. I've done a lot of mental and physical healing over the past year, and this was the last piece I needed to really let go of my old hs. Please, and I mean this, don't confess your love to anyone who is 2+ years younger than you.

Over the past year, I have made piece with losing friendships with people I knew in grade school, that I would never have a normal high school life going forward, and all this time, I had still ocasionally thought and gaslit myself on if it was really him, and if I ruined my normal teen life for no reason at all.
Today, my older brother's yearbook arrived. Dean was in it.(18 now) and still a freshman. The relief I felt, and frustration that I hadn't gotten my younger self (14 at the time, 15 now) to confront him has resurfaced. Looking back, I see that he was likely lonely and clingy, but that doesn't excuse what he put me, an 11 year old through. I don't think he will pull it together though. I believe that the high school kicks people out at 21, so I think it's very unlikely that he will graduate in the next couple of years.
