here i am at 9:33pm, journaling to occupy myself, knowing that you’re 27 now. last year’s halloween party pops in my mind, the mental instagram reel of us posing together in our costumes. i deleted the picture yet I still remember it, clear as day. my eyes were slightly crossed from alcohol and you were smiling, hard. you told me that i looked fine, just slightly drunk, but i always wondered if you just liked how you looked in it with your broad shoulders and puffed up vest in that stupid, stupid dwarf costume with your roommate’s ironic costume.
I remember all these things. do you? do you remember the night i attempted to tell you of my mistake, and you kissed me in the dark. the nights we laughed and talked, woke up together, planned our sundays together. it’s as if it was yesterday we were running to Aldi’s to help you with your grocery shopping. When we would make breakfast and binge Kitchen nightmares and Breaking Bad, rushing to get our work done so we could sneak a couple beers in before the night ended to fall asleep in each others arms. do you remember? or do i mean nothing to you now? a stranger, a crazy ex, a story you’ll tell to your next SO someday who’ll scoff and call me a bitch the same way I did with your ex. the night when I sang a childhood song and everyone joined in despite our driver’s anime music playlist. so so many stupid “instagram reels”.
how difficult the days have become pursuing my career when you’re all i can fucking think about. I’m sorry, I’m a girl; it sickens me to have possibly been a source of... entertainment. But I know it’s not like that. I know you care. how pathetic i am at how much time i allowed myself to waste because of how the world seemed to stop and everything felt okay when i looked into your big, beautiful eyes. eyes that looked so innocent and beautiful to me then. the puppy like expression when you’d lay in my lap as i played with your hair, the pleasure of watching the weight of the world leave your shoulders when i massaged them because knowing i could make your day just 0.01% made my world shine just a little bit brighter.
the nights we spent talking Winter Break, the drunk calls you’d unknowingly make because you claimed you missed me. I loved you so stupidly much. the laughing, giggling, the favors you’d do for me. the spot in your bathroom that you somehow let me occupy for whatever reason. the time i got my period and nearly flushed in tears from sharing a traumatic experience, you holding my hand as we went into the bathroom. tearing each others clothes apart after we had a fancy dinner and made things official. the jokes we’d make in our parents’ accents and the drunk urdu in the uber on the nights home where the sober one would take care of the other. even the stupid texts you sent me complaining about your day, me not caring because i just loved hearing about your day and being able to make them 0.01% better again. the nights we’d kiss until we fell asleep holding each other, the dance parties, the secrets we’d share under your comforters in the middle of the night. the grins across the room during outings together, the scary movie nights, when khan sab bought our seats and picked them in front of everyone like an uncle. being fascinated by your love for our culture in a way id never seen, your love for houses, cars, real estate. the times you’d show me your emails and let me proofread them with my Nazi grammar. all of it. i fucking miss all of it. every moment. every day. every second. it’s you i can’t get out of my fucking mind. it’s your stupid laugh, that grin, that smile that drove me nuts, i wish i could burn the memories like pieces of paper in the fireplaces. small pieces of paper like the ones i’d use to write you love letters and reminders and hide them under your pillow. the idiotic allergies you’d get for no reason like a dweeb, calling me a dweeb, the nerdy acne you’d get right around your nose, that fucking one adorable dimple that’d creep out when you’re about to laugh or you’re making a stupid joke. my mind is a fucking hellfire of these stupid memories that i can’t extract. i want my heart to stop breaking every time i see someone at my job doing their fucking rotations. i want my soul back. i want my life back. i want my fucking emotions back. i used to be so happy and bubbly, your friends bullying me for being so naive and i never would’ve imagined you’d be the one to pop my bubble and make me feel so scarred. watching the beautiful moments turn into a living hell and just feeling like a skeleton of the girl i used to be because of the amount of pain you inflicted on me.
but I still don’t hate you. Actually, I love you.

2024.06.02 07:29 Electrical-Ad1820 Guide to Willo: Part 2- Talents

So it’s quite the well-known fact that of Willo’s talent: Blastflower, is Willo’s best talent, at least statistically it does well. I won’t say it’s not because it is just that much better than her other two talents. But there’s a huge “why?” to it. In general, the factors of why talents are good or bad when compared to one another come from three factors: Their actual upsides, their actual downsides, and how they make someone play.If anyone takes a look at most talents in the game you’ll notice that most don’t list a downside, the “downside” of taking Darkstalker is the fact he’s not using either of his other talents, that and my technicality certain cards don’t work the same as they would if they were on a chained Netherstep and so this example sucks and I didn’t want to change what I had written, but that’s not the point. All talents have this drawback- the fact they’re not other talents. Some talents in their upsides come up short of their peers. Sometimes they’re not even a problem and it’s that one talent overwhelms the others with its sheer power- I’m not saying Blastflower needs to be nerfed even if the bar graphs are showing that (though it should on principle), that’s not what I’m saying.
The final issue is the playstyle that is incentivized by both Nightshade and Scorn actively making them contrast with their intended and more effective playstyles, I should say that Nightshade is less egregious than Scorn thought it still has problems.

Nightshade

By increasing the damage Nightshade does you make it an easy-to-land damage tool, in the previous guide I mentioned that Nightshade doesn’t have falloff, and that makes it incredibly useful for helping new players land it, however, it also gives the impression that you should use deadzone for dueling, which you shouldn’t since you’re now no longer using it for Area Denial or Crowd Control, however, if you don’t use it to fight squishies and just use it as normal you end up risking the chance you effectively have a non-talent since unless you save it for only hitting targets you might end up never taking the shot at all, that mixed with Deadzones cooldown makes it incredibly hard to use effectively for a reward that’s more or less able to be caught up with via Blastflower, even with a specialized build for Nightshade, my best advice for when to use this (outside of never) is to use it on TDM where the lack of tanks and objective gives plenty of room to use this for deathmatching.A side note, Nightshade is considered ability damage which ignores AP and instead can only be stopped by flat DR or AW.
In conclusion, in the case of Nightshade, risks, by its incentivised damage amp rewarding using it for fighting targets rather than stopping healing, means it possibly loses out on the area denial, however, it still is capable of doing this job even if the reward of the talent may be lost, so the red isn’t a full stop, though the talent also risks not using the damage however, you will rarely not gain value from deadzone denying heal, and if you use it on a tank or a shield, that damage still exists so it won’t be losing out on its value since you still have use cases of Crowd Control, and Ensuring kills where you’d have used the ability in the same way regardless.

Blastflower

Willo’s meta talent, and by a large margin as it gives Willo the means to duel enemies more easily (without using deadzone to do so) gives her more damage against health pools and generally has no real downsides. It’s to the point it’s more or less self-explanatory but I shall elaborate regardless. Blastflower as a Talent works regardless of whatever else you have going on, by the nature of it being attached to her primary attack with no special gimmicks beyond just hitting the same person multiple times, this and its ability to consistently get this stacking damage even with splash damage (though increasing 125 damage by 90% still doesn’t kill anyone any time soon so still aim at target) means you can easily ramp up damage and land the absolutely lethal 900 damage, while normally these guides won’t be used for balance discussion I will say that they should reduce the max stacks by 1, capping Willo’s damage to 800, to allow for duels, and some tank shredding while at the same time not doing 900 goddamn damage. Since I genuinely believe any attempts at balancing Nightshade in its current state are hopeless and giving her scorched earth (perhaps at a weaker value or without the cooldown reduction to not entirely gut point tanks with a single ability no matter how little uptime it has) it’s hard to advise people about Blastflower beyond just hit your shots.

Scorn

Okay so while I personally never looked at Scorn beyond it being just a weirder weaker version of the already weak accelerant, it was Snake (the person who does my math for me and helped me make this guide via his time on Willo) who made me realize the problems with it. We’ll talk about the positives first, it’ll be quick.

It does over 3500 damage if all seedlings hit
It’s easier to use aggressively
They are considered ability damage like Nightshade so all the same benefits apply.

And we’re done, the issue with Scorn is that by the nature of seedlings, they’re inconsistent in where they land, and the possibility of them spreading too far out or being evaded (they are only reduced by 0.5 seconds means while they are easier to use aggressively they still aren’t doing anything for a decent while, and this means certain techniques that can be done with normal seedlings become much harder on Scorn. This and using them for area denial can end up being pointless since while they still last for 1.5 seconds they disappear sooner which means you can drop your shields sooner, and go on through sooner.They make area denial harder for the incentive of killing a default AFK Barik in 1.5 seconds, which anyone with a brain can easily mitigate the damage they take and make space, and even with decks that focus on spamming seedlings, shields easily eat up the damage they offer and without these builds you end up with a similar long cooldown issue that Nightshade faces without the use cases to use the cooldown on actually mattering since you’re throwing them in hoping for the best. Oh, and you feed Terminus’ siphon more than throwing normal seedlings at him already does which you know… they won’t complain about.

During all my time in the freeze state from 2005 til 2024, I didn't realise I was in it. I knew I had MDD plus I was Autistic on top of that and had undiagnosed + untreated ADHD, but yeah I didn't know that the freeze thing was abnormal. I was unemployed + on the disability pension the whole time too.
Doing anything physically, socially or study-wise was exhausting, and I couldn't do any of it without absolutely forcing it. Extreme sweating, body odour off-putting demenour and complete shutdown of sex drive we're all results. Forcing things to the 100% extreme got me my drivers licence and car, where I forced the driving moves into my muscle memory while being immobile in the drivers seat. Even more so when I was hopeful/deluded enough to aspire to be a professional drummer and actually played live in several bands (while unknowingly looking extremely off while doing so), and I had a good enough natural feel (and force of will) to play songs at a pro-calibre level (provided they were relatively simple arrangements) but that took so much out of me that i just lay in bed or on the couch doing nothing at all for the rest of the week (even sitting up was uncomfortable and forced).
Now that I'm medicated and unfrozen, I've had to learn to socialise (which is what froze me to begin with) in the ventral vagal state all over again, I've been gradually getting my physical abilities back one by one, I've had to relearn boundaries + asserting them, I can't play in live bands anymore and I've had to learn to drive all over again in my natural state. And i cannot drive on high bridges/citylink bridges anymore as a result, it freaks me the fuck out.
It’s gonna take me a long time to completely recover, but I’m curious as to how many others have had a similar journey

it's been 1 month since I got S24 base model with Exynos and here is my review
Pros: 1. Useful features, the galaxy AI offer many feature that help me in my work and daily activities. such as summary article on browser and the picture editing features 2. The display is fantastic and the speaker is awesome! 3. The compact size of this phone is just right in my hands and really easy to use with one hand 4. The design is stunning! I just love the slim bezels 5. Amazing Customization options, there is a lot that we can customize and it is really good to let the user make their own "characteristics"
Cons 1. My only and BIGGEST issue is the cooling system. this phone get warm a lot! even basic things like opening social media for 30 mintues will make this phone warm and even hot depends on your environment.
take Instagram as an example, I just open Instagram for 30 minutes and the phone get hot. Using camera will also get this phone hot.
another example is when I play Mobile Legends, which is a light performance game with ultra settings and 120 fps and the phone will burn your hands and when play the same game with the same settings with my friends android budget phone, their phone is not even warm and mine is heating so much.
another game is eFootball Mobile, I play the game with high and 60 fps settings and the phone gets really hot that even my thumbs can feel the heat.
the heat is really making me uncomfortable and I've been thinking to replace my phone with S23+ or S24U that have Snapdragon
TL;DR: S24 is great phone and I love it, but the heat is driving me crazy

I (29) female am married husband (26) we have two kids boy (2) girl (1) we lost a daughter at a few weeks on a couple years back. And since then life has been hellll. His mom moved in with us we were sorta at a hard phase where we really couldn’t keep up with the bills she didn’t help she gave up $100 for staying there for 4 months .He moved us from our apartment and We had to move in with his family members. I had my son who was 1 with us he had a family member who him and his girlfriend fought and left drugs around constantly. One day the fighting ended up into the room with me and my son and bestfriends baby who was a few months old and I was 5 months pregnant . I was hospitalized my food and groceries would get eaten up .Fast forward to now his mom and cousins now live with us I am currently looking for work but it’s hard without childcare. One is supposed to pay the light bill our lights got disconnected the other day! On top of his mom eating up all the food and not replacing it. It’s been so much from his family I agreed to put up with him not his family and it’s making me not want to be with him anymore they disrespect my home by smoking .they play games all day, drink but my lights can go off and my refrigerator is always empty before it should. But I feel bad for feeling like this he didn’t do anything wrong but he isn’t addressing it I feel it’s because of my ppd and still grieving our daughter but it’s been to much.

I just accidentally stumbled upon two “Goodto.com” articles and one “uk.news.yahoo” article written by the same author on the same date (first two) and the following day (third article), the first of which was about how Prince William is “relying on a close family member to ‘help him with the kids’” (it’s mentioned how the nanny is keeping the kids safe) and this article hyperlinks (https://www.goodto.com/family/snow-days-more-than-fun-for-kids-also-great-for-their-health) to the second article which states that snow days are good for children’s health (sounds creepily ominous). The last time Kate, Charlotte and Louis were seen alive in public was on December 25, 2023. Obviously the WINTER season, WTF?! I think this is A HUGE RED FLAG 🚩🚩🚩 This article also mentions the disease Ricketts. “The winter months also limit opportunities for vitamin D absorption, therefore it is advised to get some outdoor time during daylight hours, even if it’s just 30 minutes in the sun. Vitamin D is important for healthy muscles and bones and is therefore a critical factor in growth and development. A significant vitamin D deficiency can also lead to rickets in children, a bone development condition that can result in bone deformities, weakness and pain.” Prince Louis hands were a focus in the infamous fake Mothering Sunday photoshop scandal earlier this year. I’ve never seen this disease or any disease (other than Cancer) being in any articles in reference to the royal family during this entire debacle. Too many “read between the lines” sentences are popping out to me. “The first article has a hyperlink to the second article which eerily talks about how winter activity is good for kids. I’ve been falling down the rabbit hole since day one and I have NEVER seen the second article and never even heard a tiny blip of it ever being mentioned anywhere on social media. The same author writes two articles back-to-back with the first article linking to the second article and the last time three particular royal family members were seen alive were in WINTER of 2023. The third article is written the very next day (January 21, 2024) after the first two articles were written and published on the same exact day (January 20, 2024). The third article states how King Charles III will “selflessly” not abdicate so as to allow his grandchildren Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to enjoy their childhood and not be saddled by royal duties until their in their 20s “despite his recent health struggles”. Does King Charles III really have cancer and is being forced to stay on the throne and not abdicate because whatever William did to Kate it was so bad that Prince William would be forced to take the throne to avoid persecution and any deeply probing questions, however, the kids are still too young to be thrown into the snake pit. Awful that’s the children’s future (hopefully last two are still alive). Please, someone, so we (the cannot be fooled public) can salvage this potentially crucial hint at the kid’s whereabouts or safety, please archive both articles, especially the second article. I’m not that tech savvy. Whoever made that AI video (sorry, forget your username right now) what a great job btw and please share the second article onto your X account if possible (after it’s archived so it cannot be scrubbed). We (this thread) have to help push the #WheresTheWalesChildren #AreTheySafe? narrative. These are innocent children that have been swallowed up by the institution since the day Kate birthed each child. It’s scary and disturbing how the media refuses to shine a light on the fact that the children have not been seen (besides George); especially how William attended a football game on Charlotte’s birthday WITHOUT her. No good father would ever do this. I never read the media questioning why this so called “great father” ghosted his own daughter on her birthday. This entire horrible situation, disappearances, etc. is showing how evil the royal family truly is. Keep your eyes, mind and ears open. These articles written in quick succession by the same author and each article referencing the children (or children in the population in general as read in the second article) is NO COINCIDENCE! 🚩🚩🚩 The reversal article is proof that the Palace caught wind of this author’s two articles on January 20, 2024 and forced the author to write a “glowing” article on January 21, 2024 about how “selfless” Grandpa Charles “despite his recent health struggles” is not going to abdicate as he wants to allow the kids to have a normal childhood. 🚩🚩🚩Has KP been pushing the King Charles III has cancer narrative as to distract from his true intentions of abdicating? Hello All - I know absolutely nothing about chemical engineering or chemistry in general. I am coming here in hopes of some direction and basic questions answered to see if what I am trying to achieve is even possible.
My ultimate goal is to find or make a product where I can pour liquid polypropylene, or something similar, onto concrete to play Inline (roller) hockey on. Polypropylene is what I picked because roller hockey is played on plastic tile, and the best tile out there right now is made with "Polypropylene with mineral fillers, ecological". I would like to accomplish this goal because outdoor roller hockey rinks across the country are unplayable because they are all concrete or asphalt (or terrible, terrible "outdoor" tile that doesnt work at all) and it tears up the wheels (urethane and polyurethane) and hockey sticks (carbon fiber) so if you try and play on it, you ruin your gear. On top of this, it is impossible to turn or stop on these outdoor surfaces. I am hoping some sort of liquid plastic could solve this.

And I can't help myself but blame Bartomeu & Co at the end of almost every season. I know this is all in the past but we've to learn from it in order to deal with the present situation. Furthermore, I say this in the face of disbelief again. Real Madrid was in this position before when Barca was in the trenches. La Masia was the answer then and so is today.
And I don't even hate Madrid like that because it is our rival club. But this is a conversation which will come up and we can't avoid that. Under Xavi, we had a plan and a project. But with Flick, we're probably back to where we started.

2024.06.02 07:21 RedditIsTrashLma0 Just beat this game. My thoughts.

I thought this game looked pretty generic at first. I saw a few youtube videos propping up the game up but I was still sceptical. I was also tired of roguelikes in general by this point and was convinced that it is a mediocre genre that is plagued with fodder mobs and repetition. But a week ago I saw that it was on sale for only about £4 so I thought "sure why not?".
The introduction at the museum felt slow. Then I started my first few runs. I wasn't used to the lack of inviniciblity frames when you get hit for one. I also found it a bit uncomfortable how scarce gold was. But then I played again and again until the newness wore off and I finally adjusted and got into a flow state with this game.
And all I can say is....
HOLY FUCKING SHIT. I was NOT expecting this level of peak. This game has singlehandedly rejuvenated my faith in the entire genre. Heck, in video games as an entire medium. Video games like this are why I live. This game is objectively a 10/10 and I will eat anyone who says otherwise.
Why?
First off, the difficulty feels brutally honest. Fair but honest. Unlike 99% of games you can't just abuse invincibility frames to back away from enemies when you get hit. You have to make sure you don't put yourself into a situation where you can get hit. This move alone was extremely bold on the devs part but it made all the difference in making the combat feel exciting and difficult to players who enjoy a challenge.
Mobs are very smart, strong, fast and all around ruthless. The basic enemies aren't much of a problem but the beefier realm exclusive soldiers usually have a trick up their sleeve like the wind knights evading your attacks and instantly teleporting behind you or the earth knights unexpectedly guarding your attack. Or enemies with reflect shields. Or that asshole cyclops enemy who can stunlock you into losing like half your health with his laser. You have to constantly stay on top of them and be aware of your surroundings(nearest escape route, positioning yourself away from pits, etc) and your cooldowns because one slip up can lead to you being stunlocked into losing half your health. Mobs move very fast and can even teleport around you, forcing you to stay on the move and make quick decisions on the fly. The fact that you do not always have access to any given spell in your arsenal due to the cooldown system makes you hyper cautious of every decision you make during combat as well as you might need access to a certain spell if you get cornered, further reinforcing this intense, razors edge feel to the combat. Mobs are brutal but at the same time they aren't damage sponges. This is probably the biggest problem I have with some other roguelikes like Warm Snow, Astral Ascent and to an extent Hades. In order to compensate for how busted your damage output can get due to the chaotically unrestrained progression in those games, they design the mobs to get exponentially tankier(without as much of a buff to the aggressiveness and damage output) as the run progresses to the point where most fights you're just mashing the same attack buttons and going through the motions until you reach the next boss. This game nailed mob design and other games should take note.
The bosses are phenomenal. I think the wind and lightning boss were kind of cheap but still very enjoyable. What really sets the bosses apart in this game from other bosses is similar to what makes the mobs great. They have relatively low health but have relentless attack patterns that are hard to dodge and move fast, making battles feel exciting rather than just drawn out and tedious. You can clear out each boss in about a dozen seconds if you're skilled enough but you risk losing a lot of health if you go on the offensive more.
I think part of what allows the combat to be so great is how balanced the progression is, both in and out of runs. This isn't one of those roguelikes where you can easily come across broken upgrades or string together broken synergies and just steamroll everything. It's almost impossible to do that with how low the stat buffs are across the board for relics. For example, if you choose the relic which increases max health, you get 50 points of health, increasing it from 500 to merely 550. In Hades(which in all due respect, is relatively balanced for roguelike standards), your health increasing keepsake increases your health by about 50%. There's also the fact that your average damage buff relic only increases by about 10%, sometimes even lower. At most during any given run you can expect about 30-50% of a damage buff maximum whereas that percentage increase number escalates into the hundreds if not thousands(Warm Snow, i'm looking at you!) in other roguelikes. The currency(Gold) is also handed out very scarcely, pushing the player to make careful decisions with how they spend their money. These are just a few examples, I could spend all day comparing how balanced WOL is with other roguelikes.
As for meta progression, it's basically just collect new spells and relics to equip for your run. You don't level up your health, damage, speed or anything like that. The way I see meta progression in roguelikes is a two edged sword. On one hand there is a feel of instant gratification to using points acquired during your run to make yourself overpowered, allowing you to sweep through encounters that were difficult beforehand. But on the other hand this sort of undermines the point of playing roguelikes. You aren't really getting any better that way. You aren't getting more skilled at the game and making use of trial and error to overcome obstacles that once seemed insurmountable. This is what I love about WOL. It doesn't spoil you. It doesn't let you just "cheat" through the campaign. You have to EARN your victories through blood, sweat and tears and it feels ever so rewarding when you finally make a breakthrough with your own skill and hard work, nothing more. That type of satisfaction is far greater than the cheap, visceral thrill of activating nodes on a skill tree.
Also last thing, I think the level design is great. It feels like the perfect blend of arena and exploration style roguelikes, it seamlessly blends between these two modes with little to no hangup. One second you're fighting off a horde of knights and within the next dozen seconds you're in a shop carefully deciding which relic or arcana to buy with the limited amount of gold you have. There are certain areas in a stage which gets walled off and you are trapped with a horde of enemies but the gate opens and closes in about a split second so it feels so seamless. I also think stages are just about the right length. Long enough to get yourself immersed in, but short enough so that they don't seem to be endlessly dragging on. I like that you can challenge the stage end miniboss as soon as you find the "gate" and just progress to the next stage, even if you only clear out like 20% of the stage. This adds somewhat of a risk/reward element to the game where you may miss out on gold, gems and arcana/relics from shops but you dont risk losing health. Players can engage with the levels as they see fit.
I've rambled a lot here but anyway, my overall point is this game is unashamedly nintendo oldschool brutal and I am all here for it! It just shows that roguelites can be god tier games when they don't coddle the player with pathetically weak mobs, broken synergies and meta-progression that trivialises the need to actually git gud and learn how to beat the game through trial and error.
This game is undoubtedly the king of roguelikes. As much as I love Hades, Rogue Legacy 2 or Dead Cells as the next person, this game is just undeniably the GOAT and it is criminal how obscure it is and how it isn't mentioned in the same conversation as those aforementioned roguelike hits.

I am considering transferring from a top 5 NAIA school to a lower tier D2. This is purely based on playing time and the other schools I’m looking at have my desired major. My current school has 50+ on the roster and it was super hard to get solid playing time. I have played summer league (USL2) and am getting film from that. I will transfer after this fall. I am wanting to know what is the level like at an average to lower D2 compared to a top 5 NAIA? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

There's a lot of background context for this. I(18f) have a cousin(18f) who we'll call Aria. Aria is the most stuck up, annoying, bratty, vapid, girl you will ever meet and I HATE her. Everything has been handed to her on a silver platter and I'm so SICK of it.
I grew up in a cramped sh!tty apartment with a single mom whereas Aria grew up with 2 rich parents and THREE large AF houses. We live in the same town and we're the same age so I have to see her all the time. It's so annoying and I feel like I'm going to explode because NOBODY sees her for the troll she is. She's super popular at school and the family favorite. More than that she goes out of her way to ruin my life. My mom isn't rich so I've never been able to travel much but a few years back my aunt took pity on me and paid for me to come on their vacations. It was amazing, we flew first class and I stayed in a suite bigger than my apartment! After we got home I heard Aria complain to her mother about how I "was annoying" and "bullied her" and she made her mom promise to not invite me again! When I tattled to my grandparents about what she did they said I should've been grateful to my aunt and nicer to my cousin!
At school it's even worse. Everyone, the students and teachers, ADORE Aria, and treat me like I'm nothing. Aria does everything to make me look bad, when I tried out for the school play so did she and then SHE got the lead and I was cast as ensemble! She's always getting straight A's and this year she was even named Valedictorian. She's cheer captain, class president, she signs up for anything that makes even more clear that she's perfect and I'm a slack. And the one time I stood up to her I was suspended for being "ableist and homophobic" just because I was mean and she's autistic and lesbian. It's INFURIATING.
So when we got our college results back and I only got into one mediocre college, and she got into an IVY I snapped. My mom already told me tuition was too expensive so I'd have to go to community college and get another job and it's not fair! So I logged on to Aria's computer and sent an email to her top college choice declining the seat. When my family found out they were FURIOUS. My grandparents demanded my mother kick me out and they disowned me. I was angry at them but I couch surfed with my best friend in the meanwhile and I figured it was worth it because for once Aria had gotten her comeuppance. Yesterday however I found out Aria was taken off the waitlist for her dream school and committed!! I had never been filled with more rage. After everything I sacrificed and she STILL got her way?! Now my grandparents and mom won't take me back and I don't understand because it's not as if my plan even worked. I know it's because of Aria, she told them not to take me back as an act of revenge. I don't know what I've done to deserve this. AITAH?

You know, I'd think the Rabbids have a good heat tolerance if they're willing to sleep in the middle of nowhere at a desert... let alone their backs must be made of steel or something if they can lay on a cactus without getting poked.
Plus did anyone feel a little uncomfortable as a kid with the atmosphere of the minigame? I mean.. you have a distant lullaby that plays Rockabye Baby in the distance with reverb, 4 ghosts that just move around the screen that get more frantic the longer you survive, and your just in the middle of somekinda swamp at night..
