Colt Manufacturing has been an icon in the firearms industry since the beginning of the company in 1855. In the realm of firearm collecting, when most collectors hear the Colt name they think of the iconic M1911, the ‘Snake’ guns (Cobra, Anaconda, etc.). However, Colt’s name is synonymous with the AR-15, beginning production in December of 1961, and the U.S. government redesigned M-16/M-4 family of weapons. Colt has a following of dedicated collectors in the AR-15 community as well.
2024.05.19 03:16 TheeKingSalty "Enchantment Master" and overall glyph lvl change idea.
While playing through a NM dungeon I had a thought come into my mind. Now, fair opinions on this please, be truthful. Also, before I say this take note that I really like season 4, like... I really like it. The idea is this, instead of just getting your glyphs to lvl 21 for a raw number bump, what if lvl 21 was redone to act as a "masterwork" to the glyph itself. The idea is that the glyph itself would get a bigger than usual lvl bump percentage increase, while applying new (relevant) secondary effects to the skills it affects and the more a certain glyphs affects skills is broadens it line of effect, meaning it provides more bonuses depending on if it affects 3 of your skills as opposed to just 1.
This is a rough idea, not fleshed out completely but the concept is there. It would make glyph selection VERY intentional depending on what you're trying to build for. The other idea is a rework of the "Enchantment Master" legendary node, Instead of;
"Your enchantments are 20% stronger" it would be, "You have 1 additional enchantment slot and your enchantments are 15% stronger.
Ideas?

2024.05.19 03:14 leolo007 Trying to figure out how to troubleshoot regenerative braking on a 2005 Club Car DS.
Hope y'all can help me out. It's an IQ per the serial number. I bought it with bad batteries and upgraded to Lithium immwdiately but I did test drive the cart with its dying batteries before I bought it and I don't remember feeling any braking when I let off the accelerator. I have no idea how to troubleshoot this.
Also cart does 20mph and all I did was upgrade the battery so not sure if cart was previously modified. Thanks for any help!!
Me neighborhood has a lot of hills so regenerative braking is a must to keep from having to change brakes pads too frequently.

2024.05.19 03:13 darthuna PC104 not starting after changing the DOC
| Hi, all. I have a TW6052 386-SX @40 PC104 board that originally came with a 8MB Disk on Chip (DOC). I started with a boot disk, formatted the DOC, and transfer the system so I could boot from the DOC (which is unit C:). No problem at all. I recently bought a 96MB DOC, put it on the board instead of the 8MB DOC and booted from the floppy drive with the idea of formatting it and transferring the system. The PC104 gets stuck right after showing the system information and right before starting MSDOS (see picture) and there's nothing I can do. If I put back the 8MB DOC everything works fine again. If I start from a floppy without any DOC on the board everything works fine (but there's no DOC, obviously). Also, I bought two identical 96MB DOCs and the problem happens with both. I don't see anything on the BIOS to tell the PC104 I changed the DOC (only IDE hard disks which I don't have), but even if the DOC was defective, I don't understand why I can't boot from the floppy disk... If the DOC was defective I should be able to start the PC104 from the floppy disk and simply be unable to access the DOC, correct? Any ideas of what's going on? Thanks! submitted by darthuna to vintagecomputing [link] [comments] |
2024.05.19 03:07 Difficult_Ad3864 Increasing Time before Voicemail Answers on iPhone and Android
My iPhone kept going to voicemail after only 3 rings. I thought it would be simple to extend it. But apparently not. After no less than 7 times calling support about the issue, I finally figured it out. Here's how:
To adjust the time before voice mail pickup between 20 and 40 seconds, on the iphone you need to go into setup, phone and turn “Live Voicemail” off. If it is on then voice mail picks up after 20 seconds even if ATT has sets the time to 40 seconds (although you can pick up to talk to the caller when vm is on).
Once that is off, on the iphone, input **61*2482240128**40# (40 is the number of minutes delay you are trying to enable) and hit the call button.
For Android, no need to shut off “Live Voicemail” though you may want to check to see if it has an anologous setting. Input: **61*2624169900**40#
Effect should be immediate. It’s always good to shut off phone for 15 seconds and then turn it back on before you do this.

2024.05.19 03:07 Ineedmoneyyo Finally made Master 1 with the forbidden deck
| Just wanted to post this, because I genuinely feel proud on making my first Master 1, with this degenerate deck. I don’t care and yes I love it, if I go first you only have to wait for about 15 seconds before your turn and I’ll make your life miserable as much as I can. If I go second, I still respect it and wait for the 10 minutes combo, then summon Jowgen or drop evenly matched. Anyways I know this deck gets clowned like crazy, but look at me man I’m at Master freaking 1! But yea I love this game and I listed my deck here too so you guys can join me and play the true Master 1 casual play lol submitted by Ineedmoneyyo to masterduel [link] [comments] |
2024.05.19 03:06 ceruleanpure Great on off-days; disaster on work days.
Hey all, I’m trying to lose 10 lbs by October 15 (trip to see family). I tend to do pretty well on days when I’m not at work. But I’m an absolute mess on the days that I do work. 12-hour shifts; high-stress; a lot of “sit and wait” until “oh snap! Things are happening!”. Patients bring us goodie baskets as “Thank yous!”; which has my number one weakness - chocolate. In addition, my clerk has a candy dish.
I psyche myself up in the morning that “Today, I’m going to be good!” And I’m usually good until lunch; then it all goes to shit. I’ll reach for a sweet treat and it’s like the dam broke and I can’t seem to stop stuffing my mouth for the rest of the day. I’m always a lb up on the scale the day after work and then on my off days I’ll go back down. (I know it’s not a true weight gain, it’s just super infuriating to see the number always increase the day after shift.)
I’m conscious to have a decent amount of protein at every meal. I’m working on increasing my veggie intake. The unit is cold, so I reach for herbal tea instead of water.
Reaching out for some positive feedback or camaraderie. Any advice? It’s like I know these things, I know the right things to do, but I’m just having trouble applying it.
Thanks.

2024.05.19 02:58 housingthrowaway6969 Want to buy our dream home, but don't want to lose 2.875% rate on current home. Can we make it work?
Four years ago, Reddit helped me make one of the best financial decisions I'll ever make. Well, we're coming up on another one, and I would love some feedback/advice.
Back then, y'all encouraged my 23-year-old self to buy my first home. We ended up paying ~$210k for a terrific home that's now valued at ~$360k+ and an interest rate of 2.875%. I still work at the company, and several years later, my wife and I are doing really well.
3 days ago, we found a home in Zillow that's gorgeous and in a terrific neighborhood near downtown in our up-and-coming city (we're currently about 20 minutes out). It checks nearly all the boxes, and it's listed at $649,000.
It's the kind of home I never thought I'd be able to afford - and I'm still not 100% sure if we can. But I think so?
Quick stats Ages: We just turned 28/29 Combined Salary: ~$180k-190k (depending on bonuses and inconsistent freelance work). Savings: $101,000 in cash. ~$12k in a brokerage account. ~$191,000 in retirement accounts. 2 cars - paid off. Mine should be good for 8+ years. My wife will likely need to replace hers in a couple years. Kids aren't in the cards for us, so thankfully that's not a concern.
Current home - mortgage payment is $1,200 monthly. Rental calculators online say that we should expect to get $1,600-$2,000 from it. Would likely go through a property management company. It's 4 years old and in solid shape.
Avg. Monthly spending: $6,700-$7,000, including existing mortgage. We've been a little sloppy here, and could probably cut this down a bit.
Monthly takehome - combined, I have us at around $12,125 monthly. If we adjust retirement contributions down to 15% each, then that jumps to $13k.
Because we want to maintain an emergency fund, we only want to put around 10% down on the home.
If you've read this far, I genuinely appreciate it.
Specific questions: 1. Are we about to be house poor? By my numbers, I'm thinking we should still be saving around $1,500 a month with the new plan, but that is tighter than we've been.
- Is it more efficient to use a 401k loan (or a HELOC on our existing home) for the other 10% of the downpayment? PMI (est. at $300/monthly) feels like throwing money away. Would also appreciate any other ideas here.
- Lower interest rate aside, are we likely to save more in interest from selling our current home and applying the equity toward the new one? Or would it be better to rent it out, try to cut even on the mortgage, and maintain the equity/rate there?
- I recognize that we've been privileged/blessed to be in a really good situation over the past few years. Any additional advice/concerns about the above? Anything I'm not considering? Thanks!

Whence, we have:
Dividing through, we get:
A ΕΑΝ formula for the Egyptian cosmos (κοσμος) [600]!
Circle-X symbol 𓊖 [O49]?
In step #17, I have merged omicron (ομικρον) [360] symbol ◯ with the chi (X) = 600 symbol, to make the circle-X (⨂) symbol 𓊖 [O49], which is in the names of many Egyptian city or nome names, e.g. Heliopolis, as follows:
- ◯W ⋅ X = ⨂ » 𓊖
- 360 ⋅ 600 = ⨂ » 𓊖
- 216,000 = ⨂ » 𓊖
In other words, I am conjecturing that the chi X is merged into or inside of the ◯ circle, to form, similar to what Plato speaks about, the Egyptian circle-X or cosmos birth symbol 𓊖 [O49].
We also note:
- 216,000 = ⨂ » 𓊖
- 216,000 = 216 ⋅ 1,000
- 216,000 = 216 ⋅ 𓆼
- 216,000 = {επιμιχια} ⋅ 1,000
Where epimixia {επιμιχια} [216] meaning: “intercourse“ (Barry, A44) or “admixture”, which seems to make sense, meaning that the phoenix 🐦🔥 egg 🥚, formed by Ptah, had to have been made or seeded by “intercourse”, meaning the new cosmos was born from an admixture of sexual genomes 🧬, or something along these lines.
Keys - ⓉC = circumference of earth 🌍 on an Egypto-Greek T-O map.
- W (superscript) means “word value”, e.g. ◯W = 360, the word value of omicron (ομικρον), or 𓅃W = 1111, the word value of iota (ιωτα).
- Stadion (ΣΤΑΔΙΟΝ) {neutral} or stadia (ΣΤΑΔΙΑ) {genitive} = 600 feet 👣, the length of one Greek stadium.
- 🏟️ = stadium emoji; used as icon for the Greek stadia.
- 𓆼 = 1,000 in Egyptian numerals.
- 𓂭 = 10,000 in Egyptian numerals.
- 𓆐 = 100,000 in Egyptian numerals.
- Δ = 4 in Greek numerals.
- M = 40 in Greek numerals.
- Y = 400 in Greek numerals.
- X = Chi, 24th letter, letter value: 600.
- x = multiplication symbol.
- (dot) ⋅ = alternative multiplication symbol.
- 𓃀 [D58] = one foot 🦶or 16 digits on the Cubit.
- 𓅃 [G5] = Horus falcon, 10th unit on most Cubit rules, and letter-number 10 (𐤉) on the Phoenician alphabet; used as pre-Iota (I) LunarScript symbol, i.e. 10th Greek letter.
Quotes “Mathematicians who calculate the size of the earth's 🌍 circumference Ⓣ arrive at the figure 400,000 stades.”
— Aristotle (2280A/-325), On the Heavens (Περί Ουρανού) (translator: J.L. Stocks) (§2.14:298a15)
Posts - 111 ordering of the alphabet
- Omicron [360] ◯ x iota [1111] = T-O map Ⓣ circumference [400,000]!
- Type (etymology): the “form” of a letter
- Stadium 🏟️, from Greek stadion (σταδιον) [635], secret name: sthenaros (σθεναρος), meaning: strong, mighty; robust; intense violent. Length: 600 Greek feet, based on chi (χ), value: 600, secret name: cosmos (κοσμος). Earth 🌎 circumference = 400,000 stadiums 🏟️ (Aristotle, 435A/22870A)

2024.05.19 02:54 IronHammer67 Prisma, Mysql and BigInts oh my
So I wanted to share my journey with everyone and shine some light on a weird problem that is probably common but doesn't seem to be discussed much.
I am in the process of rewriting a large 15-year old PHP/jQuery/MySQL app in Nuxt. One of my goals is to support my largeish (60 tables) legacy MySQL database. I was really looking forward to leveraging Nuxt's API and directory magic to modernize my old app!
I had used
mysql2 successfully in a Vue 3 project I built this past winter and wanted to use it in Nuxt. Turns out there wasn't a documented way to do so. So I set about figuring out a way to wire it up into Nitro myself. I
documented my findings here but I wasn't really happy as my solution wasn't the "preferred" way to do things. Pooya
says we should not be attaching things to the nitroApp instance.
Time passed and I started playing with
Prisma as it has direct support for MySQL and Nuxt. I figured I needed to wade into learning Prisma anyway. It is pretty cool but seems unnecessary since I already know how to write good SQL. The code hints are nice I guess but I digress...
I managed to get Prisma to "npx prisma db pull" my database schema (even on an older MySQL 5.7 setup) and start querying data. That was quick and easy. I was impressed!
But I immediately ran into a problem with BigInt. It seems even though I had no columns defined as BigInts I was getting the error: "Do not know how to serialize a BigInt". Turns out the reason for this is that my Int() columns are unsigned (I wanted to double the potential number of max id's for my tables) and this causes Prisma to *think* the data is a BigInt even though the maximum number of records in any of my tables is less than 10,000. Strange behavior indeed.
On a side note, the npmjs mysql2 package has a way to specify that you want the package to return BigInts as a string since JSON is the one choking on them. I couldn't find a way to tell Prisma to do this.
What I have done to circumvent the issue for now is to force Prisma to return what it perceives as BigInts as a string value, which is fine for my purposes.
I added the following code to the top of the defineEventHandler() function call in my /serveapi/{endpoint} file:
BigInt.prototype.toJSON = function () { const int = Number.parseInt(this.toString()); return int ?? this.toString(); };
Now I am able to call prisma functions as normal and return the results. Now I can set my auto-increment record id's to BigInts as much as I want. Happy me!
The drawback to this approach is that I will have to add this code to every endpoint I write in my app. I am sure I will discover a way to have Prisma execute this code during instantiation but I haven't found a way to do it yet.
So I just wanted to share my story for folks who may be beating the crap out of Google/DuckDuckGo looking for a solution to this issue.
Thanks and cheers!

Thanks!

2024.05.19 02:48 SecretDMAccount_Shh Need feedback for Feast encounter.
My party is level 7 and attending the funeral of Burgomaster Vargas next session at the church of St. Andral. The bones were not recovered. I plan on having the vampires attack at this point, and I just wanted to get some feedback and what I have planned.
Ireena has been captured by Izek and will be in attendance seated in the front row with Izek, Victor, and his mother, but she will be shackled. When fighting starts, Victor will turn invisible and fly away immediately because he’s selfish like that.
The attack will be led by Anastraya who I have homebrewed her stat block to be an Echo Knight and their objective is to kill Father Lucian, kidnap Ireena, and terrorize Vallaki.
When the attack starts, Vampire spawn will burst in from all windows and doors to the church and Anastraya will magically appear in the middle of the room to deliver a monologue about how the people of Vallaki are fools to think they were safe from Strahd’s wrath, etc.
This Anastraya is actually just an echo with the real one sitting in the middle of the church disguised as a Vallaki citizen. If players destroy the Anastraya echo, she will just resummon another on her turn and have it attack immediately.
Here are my questions:
- Since the party is level 7, I plan on attacking with about 20 vampire spawn, but they will be in squads of 4 with each squad acting on the same initiative. One squad will target Father Lucian, one squad will focus on kidnapping Ireena, and the rest targeting civilians. A squad will only pay attention to the players if one of them is attacked by a player, so the numbers should be manageable. Anastraya will likely target Father Lucian and the players.
- Part of the challenge is identifying the real Anastraya in the crowd. I’m thinking that she will roll Deception checks every round against the Player Passive Perception to stay undetected, but I plan on applying disadvantage to the passive perception due to the sheer chaos inside the church of villagers panicking and getting slaughtered. If players are paying attention, they might notice that one villager is not moving at all and that the Anastraya echoes are all being summoned within 15 feet of that villager as another hint of what’s going on if the dice are not rolling their way.
- For kidnapping Ireena, I plan on two vampire spawn just grabbing her and scuttling up a wall and out a window as 2 more engage with Izek to keep him busy. Players will have to react quickly to prevent it as she will be probably be gone by the end of the 2nd round if they do nothing. Is this fair?
I really want Ireena to be captured and Father Lucian to be dead by the end of this, but I want to make sure the players have a fair shot at stopping it. Any feedback?
