CPU - Following the graphics card, the processor stands as the second most pivotal element in your gaming laptop. Although the GPU generally bears the brunt of gaming demands, the CPU significantly influences overall system performance and holds the potential to bottleneck the GPU's capabilities. Gaming laptops housing more robust GPUs are often accompanied by 8-core processors. In the mid-range spectrum spanning $400 to $800, you'll typically find quad-core CPUs. While dual-core CPUs can handle gaming, they aren't optimal since sustaining boosted clock speeds might not always be achievable.

RAM is generally the most straightforward laptop component to upgrade. So, if you're working with a tight budget, you have the option to choose a laptop with lower RAM and later upgrade it yourself. Overspending on RAM is unnecessary; 16 GB is sufficient for gaming. However, considering 32 GB can provide future-proofing for your laptop.
Storage-wise, if your budget permits, it's advisable to select a laptop equipped with an SSD for storage. An SSD can significantly enhance a laptop's speed, particularly when compared to an HDD. This translates to reduced boot times and quicker load times, resulting in noticeably improved performance.

2024.05.21 12:52 rinku_mehandi_artist Easy way to create simple and elegant mehandi design near me

Easy way to create simple and elegant mehandi design near me
Rinku, one of the best Mehandi artists near me in Delhi, has years of experience creating designs that combine modern and traditional Indian patterns to create eye-catching patterns that embrace modern style and showcase Indian culture. From bridal Mehndi design to stylish Groom Mehandi services, their creativity shine through in each mehndi artists.
Mehendi, or henna, is a beautiful form of body art that has been cherished for centuries across many cultures. Whether you’re preparing for a special occasion or just want to adorn your hands with lovely patterns, creating simple and elegant mehendi designs can be both fun and therapeutic. Here’s a straightforward guide to help you get started with your mehendi journey.

1. Gather Your Supplies
Before you begin, make sure you have all the necessary supplies:
Mehandi's cone: You can find pre-made mehandi's cones at local markets or online. These cones are easy to use and come ready for application.
Lemon and sugar mixture: This helps in setting the mehendi and enhancing its color.
Cotton swabs: For cleaning any mistakes.

2. Prepare Your Skin
Wash your hands thoroughly to remove any oils or lotions. Clean skin helps the mehandi adhere better and results in a darker stain.

3. Start with Simple Patterns
If you’re a beginner, it’s best to start with simple designs. Here are a few easy patterns to try:

Dots and Lines: Begin with small dots and lines to create flowers, leaves, and vines. This basic technique is the foundation of more complex designs.
Paisleys: These teardrop-shaped patterns are classic and elegant. Start with a small paisley and gradually add details around it.
Mandala: Draw a circle and fill it with intricate details like petals and swirls. Mandalas look complex but are made up of repetitive patterns that are easy to master.
4. Practice Makes Perfect
Don’t be discouraged if your first few attempts aren’t perfect. Practice on paper or your palm to get a feel for the mehandi's cone and improve your control over it.

5. Aftercare for Best Results
Once your design is complete, let the mehandi dry for at least 30 minutes. Dab it with a lemon and sugar mixture to keep it moist and ensure a darker stain. Leave the paste on for several hours, or overnight if possible, before gently scraping it off. Avoid water for the first 24 hours to allow the stain to deepen.

6. Finding Inspiration Near You
Look for local mehandi artists home service near me or workshops in your area. These can be great sources of inspiration and provide opportunities to learn new techniques. Social media platforms like Instagram and Pinterest are also treasure troves of mehendi design ideas.

By following these simple steps and practicing regularly, you’ll soon be able to create stunning and elegant mehendi designs that you can proudly showcase. Happy decorating!

🔗Indigo Dog House with Microban - Enhanced Pet Comfort by Coleman

https://preview.redd.it/p2mm4oyr8r1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=796d3d7fcc5abfdca3bc92cdbd59cfa5bd449f80
The Petmate Indigo Dog House has been my faithful companion, keeping my furry friend comfortable and cozy in all weather conditions. The offset extended doorway ensures that wind and rain are kept at bay, allowing my pet to enjoy the comfort of their personal space without getting damp or chilled.
The structural foam provides excellent insulation, keeping my pet cool during summer days and warm during the colder months. The roof vent helps maintain proper airflow, allowing for a pleasant environment inside the dog house. The use of Microban is an added bonus, as it actively works against the growth of bacteria, mold, and mildew, ensuring a fresh and clean living area for my pet.
Installation was a breeze, with no tools required, and the dog house is specifically designed for medium-sized pets. Although the dimensions are perfect for my pet, I found it interesting that larger dogs can be accommodated in the larger versions of the dog house. My pet loved his new home and took to it immediately, feeling secure and protected from the elements.
However, there have been some minor issues with rain leakage. Although the design of the dog house is meant to keep rain out, I have found that on occasion, water still finds its way inside the dog house. This can lead to damp and unpleasant conditions for my pet and requires extra attention to keep the dog house area dry.
Overall, the Petmate Indigo Dog House is a reliable and comfortable choice for your medium-sized pet. With its insulated design and sturdy construction, your furry friend will be well-protected in all weather conditions. Although it has faced some minor issues, these do not detract from the overall quality and functionality of the dog house.

I recently had the opportunity to test out the Coleman Juniper Lake 4-Person Instant Dome Tent, and I must say, it was a mixed experience. On the one hand, setting up this tent was a breeze, thanks to the pre-attached poles that allowed me to pitch it in about a minute. The ventilated annex, complete with a rainfly, was also a great feature for keeping my gear and dog dry and comfortable.
However, there were a few issues I encountered during my time using the tent. Firstly, the poles had a sliding mechanism that broke the very first time I used it. This resulted in a much heavier and bulkier tent, which was quite inconvenient when packing it up. Additionally, the rainfly, while well-ventilated, did restrict some visibility through the windows, making it slightly less than ideal for enjoying the outdoors.
Despite these drawbacks, the Coleman Juniper Lake 4-Person Instant Dome Tent still proved to be a functional and capable option for my camping needs. With a few improvements, such as detachable poles and a more durable rainfly, this tent could be an even better choice for those looking for a hassle-free camping experience.

Recently, I had the opportunity to try out the Coleman Instant 4-Person Cabin Tent in tan/black. This instant tent features an 8' x 7' floor that's spacious enough for a queen airbed, allowing for plenty of room to move around comfortably. Its taped seams and welded floor seam offer strength and durability, while mesh windows improve air circulation. Furthermore, it meets CPAI-84 flammability requirements for safety and has a fully-taped WeatherTec system that withstands harsh outdoor elements, keeping all your items dry.
When it came to setting up the tent, the color-coded poles and easy-to-follow instructions made the process a breeze. I was impressed by the tent's ability to withstand various weather conditions, thanks to its durable materials and strong frame. The design also includes ample airflow through large windows and a ground vent, reducing condensation and keeping the interior fresh and cool.
However, there were a couple of downsides, as well. Firstly, the d-style door was a bit hard to open and close, and the zipper required some effort to work properly. Additionally, the tent didn't seem as sturdy as expected in high winds, with the fabric flapping around a bit.
Overall, the Coleman Instant 4-Person Cabin Tent was a decent choice for a camping trip. Its ease of setup, spacious interior, and weather resistance made it a comfortable shelter. However, some improvements, such as better zippers and more durable materials, could have made this tent even more impressive.

🔗Coleman WeatherMaster Tent: 10-Person, Patented Hinged Door, Eureka 17' x 9'

https://preview.redd.it/jlubuu9t8r1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=20b402701a21588f49252e3a3b34308fe9bb7be5
Recently, I had the chance to try out the Coleman WeatherMaster 10-Person Tent on my camping trip. The tent quickly became a game-changer for me and my large family. When it comes to space, this tent is truly remarkable – it comfortably accommodates ten people, giving us all enough room to spread out and enjoy our camping experience.
The WeatherMaster's separate rooms and dividers provided us with much-needed privacy and organization, making our trip even more enjoyable. Setting up the tent was also a breeze, thanks to the color-coded poles and clear instructions. The tent held up well in various weather conditions, keeping us dry and secure throughout.
One of the standout features was the ventilation system. Despite having a large group, the tent remained well-ventilated, preventing condensation and maintaining a comfortable atmosphere. The built-in electrical access port was also a convenient feature that allowed us to stay connected and charge our devices.
However, there were a few drawbacks to the tent. The setup process was a bit slower than I expected, which could be an issue for those looking for a quick set up. Additionally, the rain fly was prone to leaking, which meant I needed to use an extra tarp for added protection. Despite these minor issues, the Coleman WeatherMaster Tent proved to be a valuable addition to our camping trips, delivering on its promises and providing a comfortable and spacious shelter for our family.

🔗Coleman 8-Person Evanston Screened Tent with Screen Room

I recently tested out the Coleman Evanston 8-Person Tent with Screen Room for a camping trip, and I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to set up! The snag-free pole sleeves and Insta-Clip attachments made it a breeze to assemble in less than 15 minutes. As someone who loves the great outdoors, there's nothing more bothersome than having bugs invade your tent. However, the fully screened porch and the four large windows provided maximum ventilation while keeping the bugs at bay.
The tent's 72-inch center height offered plenty of room for my sleeping bag, and the 1442 square feet of floor space was perfect for storing all my gear. The weather-resistant features, such as the taped seams and rainfly, ensured that I remained dry during a sudden rain shower.
The screened-in room was an excellent addition, offering extra space for ventilation or storage. However, one downside was the rainfly, which sometimes made it a bit darker inside the tent even on sunny days. Additionally, the tent was on the heavier side, making it a bit more challenging to transport longer distances.
Overall, the Coleman Evanston 8-Person Tent with Screen Room was a great choice for my camping trip. It provided a spacious and comfortable environment, while also offering a bug-free experience. Despite a few minor drawbacks, I believe this tent would be an excellent option for anyone planning a camping adventure.

The Coleman OneSource 6-Person Camping Dome Tent is the perfect companion for outdoor adventures with friends and family. Setting up the tent in my backyard under the sun took only 10 minutes, and the fan feature made sure I stayed cool during that hot summer day. The LED lighting system brightened up the tent, making it an enjoyable place to hang out.
The tent's OneSource Li-Ion rechargeable battery powered not only the integrated fan and LED lighting system but also charged my smartphone, making it a versatile and eco-friendly choice. The included rainfly and weather-resistant features added peace of mind in case of sudden showers.
Although the tent could fit more people, it was cozy enough for my family of four. The ample storage pouches provided a convenient place to store our essentials, while the netting around the tent allowed for enhanced ventilation to keep things fresh inside.
Overall, the Coleman OneSource 6-Person Camping Dome Tent offered a comfortable and enjoyable outdoor experience for my family, and the easy setup, battery-powered features, and weather-resistance made it a winner in our book.

🔗Weatherproof 6-Person Dome Tent with Full-Fly Vestibule from Cabela's

I recently had the chance to try out the Coleman Skydome Camping Tent at our family camping trip. This tent was quick and easy to set up, taking less than 5 minutes. One feature that stood out to me was the full-fly vestibule, providing extra weather protection and additional storage space. The nearly vertical walls also gave us an extra 20% more headroom compared to a traditional dome tent, making it comfortable for everyone inside.
However, there were a few downsides as well. The front door zipper design seemed problematic at times, causing issues when trying to access the tent. Additionally, there was a small hole that appeared in the floor after our first use, though we're unsure if it was already there or not. The tent was also quite heavy at 20 lbs, making it difficult to transport.
Overall, the Coleman Skydome Camping Tent had its ups and downs. The ease of setup and extra space were definitely pluses, but the zipper design and the tent's weight were drawbacks.

2024.05.21 11:59 Meowow912 I feel so bad for the Walmart employee that showed me where an item was.

I was at Walmart yesterday morning and after getting everything else needed I could not find 1 item. I asked a woman who worked there and I was on the wrong side of the store but she took me to where it was. (Our store is being renovated so its confusing right now.) Because she is she's a busy woman with things to do she walked a little faster than average to show me were my item was. I did my best to keep up but I'm disabled. My lungs don't work and my heart rate shoots up way way to high just standing up let alone that kind activity.
I see the aisle she was going in to but had to stop because my vision got dark and I thought I was going to pass out. She looked back and I guess I had turned white was repeating don't pass out don't pass out. My husband was with me and immediately knew that I was having an a breathing issue and my heart rate was probably sky rocketing and I often have low blood sugar and he knew I didn't eat before shopping.
She kind of went pale and came back and asked if I was OK. My husband said she was reaching for her radio incase she had to call in for help. We assured her I just needed a second and thanked her so so much for her time and I said I'm sorry over and over.
Before it all went bad all I was thinking is look how fast I am going that physical therapy is helping so much. I feel so bad for that woman though she had no idea that only a few years ago while waiting for life saving surgery I was on oxygen and having to use one of those power chair carts to shop at Walmart.

As a product reviewer, I've had the pleasure of trying out the Stanley 24 oz. Quick Flip Go Water Bottle in the Tigerlily color. This water bottle has become a staple in my daily routine.
The first thing that caught my eye was its sleek design – perfect for carrying on the go. The double-wall vacuum insulation is a real game-changer. Whether I'm sipping on iced water in the summer or a hot cup of tea in the winter, the temperature remains consistent for hours.
One feature I particularly appreciate is the trigger-action lid. It's easy to use and helps prevent spills, making it great for when I'm on the move. Plus, the fact that it's dishwasher safe is a lifesaver. No more scrubbing by hand!
However, there are a couple of downsides. Firstly, the weight of the bottle can be a bit of a struggle for those who prefer a lighter option. Secondly, the dimensions might not fit all car cup holders, which can be a hassle during road trips.
Overall, the Stanley Quick Flip Go Water Bottle has been a reliable companion in my everyday life. Its combination of style, functionality, and durability make it a must-have for anyone looking for a reliable water bottle.

🔗Cold Steel Heavy Duty Nylon Cane with Rubber Ferrule

https://preview.redd.it/v48i5gn34r1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=64aac772c9910fa7f43dc2f916fb8b53b380e7fc
I've been using the Cold Steel Heavy Duty Cane in my daily life, and it has proven to be quite the companion. The nylon handle provides an enhanced grip that makes it convenient to hold, while the steel construction ensures structural strength for long-term use. I particularly appreciate the rubber ferrule, which is designed to be slip-resistant, making it an excellent choice for uneven terrain or icy sidewalks.
One downside is that it might be a bit heavy for some people, especially those who don't need the extra weight for support. However, the overall design and engineering of the cane are top-notch, and it gives me a sense of reassurance knowing I have a sturdy and reliable walking staff whenever I need it.

🔗Cold Steel Special Forces Shovel: Robust, Stainless Steel Outdoor Essential

https://preview.redd.it/onud1it34r1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=19aa78d8c58949aae696362f44a26b21b9da0dca
This past summer, I found myself on a weekend camping trip and realized I didn't pack a shovel. I needed to dig a small trench around my campsite to divert water. Luckily, a friend had a Cold Steel Special Forces Shovel that he let me borrow. On the first day, he taught me how to use it. The edge was sharp, and the handle felt sturdy. I was surprised by how strong it was. I struggled a bit at first, but it didn't take long before I was able to dig the trench.
After returning from the camping trip and reflecting on the weekend, I realized that the shovel had some flaws. Firstly, it was a bit heavy for a camping trip, and I felt it could cause strain on my back over time. Secondly, it didn't come with a sheath, which was inconvenient since I had to keep it in my vehicle's trunk, where it took up too much space.
Despite these issues, I still appreciated the durability of the Cold Steel Special Forces Shovel. It was clear that it was designed for heavy-duty tasks. The edge remained sharp even after I used it heavily. The wooden handle felt comfortable to hold, even though it was a bit on the thick side.
Overall, the Cold Steel Special Forces Shovel was a functional tool, but it could be improved for camping trips or situations where portability is a priority.

🔗Cold Steel Smatchet: Deluxe Edition for Playstation 5

https://preview.redd.it/duzypj644r1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4feb4a7502a34a0974f6539f3524c5dc9b0652ab
As someone who thoroughly enjoyed diving into the Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III and IV, let me share my experience with this dynamic duo. The deluxe edition for Playstation 5 was a refreshing return to the rich world of Erebonia, where war hero Rean Schwarzer began his new life as an instructor at Thors Military Academy's branch campus.
What stood out to me was how the game expertly handled the aftermath of the Erebonian Civil War and introduced new threats to keep the story alive. Delving into it with the improved RPG gameplay on PlayStation 5 made my journey even more immersive. Plus, the cosmetic DLC available with these iterations ensured that every member of my party was looking their best, adding a unique touch to the experience.
However, like any other game, it wasn't all smooth sailing. There were moments that were a bit challenging, but overall, the Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III and IV truly delivered an engaging experience that I thoroughly enjoyed as a fan of the genre.

As a home cook who's always experimenting with new recipes and kitchen tools, I've found myself in a bit of a pickle when it comes to removing stubborn grease from my appliances. That's why I was thrilled to try the Shumanit Cold Grease Remover.
Right off the bat, I found it remarkable how quickly this cold grease remover works. No need for a heat source or any harsh chemicals. In fact, it's effective on all sorts of surfaces - my oven, pots, frying pans, baking trays, stainless steel dishes, cooking surfaces, steam extractors, and even hard-to-clean vents.
I've had my fair share of leaky packages in the past, but the Shumanit Cold Grease Remover was surprisingly well-packed. It comes in a sturdy plastic bottle with a trigger spray that's easy to use.
The product has a delightful citrus smell that lifts the spirits while I'm getting my hands dirty in the kitchen. Plus, the grease and grime just seem to vanish as if by magic.
However, there's one small downside to my Shumanit experience. On one occasion, the package was partially leaking, which made me worry about the condition of the other products in the batch. I just hope it was a one-time issue and not a trend.
To sum up, the Shumanit Cold Grease Remover is a truly versatile and effective grease and grime remover. It's a lifesaver for anyone who values a sparkling clean kitchen. Let's just hope the packaging improves in the future.

🔗Stanley Vacuum Insulated 1.5qt Bottle: Leakproof and Durable for Any Adventure

https://preview.redd.it/hv1cfgh54r1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=92c3e83a1e6ed9bde65bd49c95962c0425bd9025

For my outdoor adventures, the Stanley Legendary Classic Bottle 1.5qt Habitat has truly been a game-changer. This insulated beverage container ensures my drinks remain at the perfect temperature for hours on end, whether I'm savoring a hot cup of coffee on a chilly morning or enjoying an icy beverage on a sweltering day.
One of my favorite features is the stainless steel construction, which not only makes the bottle sturdy and durable but also ensures it's free of BPA, a nice touch for any health-conscious individual. The double-wall vacuum insulation, another key highlight, works wonders in keeping my beverages at their desired temperatures, even in extreme conditions.
However, I found that the bottle can be quite difficult to clean, especially along the insulated areas. Additionally, the screw cap lid, while functional, can be a bit tricky to twist off after a while, depending on the grip strength. These minor inconveniences aside, the Stanley Legendary Classic Bottle has proven to be an indispensable companion on all my outdoor excursions.

Recently, I got my hands on the J-B Weld Original Cold-Weld Formula Steel Reinforced Epoxy. I was intrigued by the fact that it could serve as an inexpensive alternative to welding, soldering, and brazing. To my surprise, this versatile epoxy proved to be a game-changer in my daily life.
One of the most impressive features of the J-B Weld epoxy is its water-resistant nature. I used it to seal a leak in my water pipe, and it worked like a charm. The epoxy's petroleum and chemical resistance made it perfect for my project, as it withstood various tests without any damage.
Another standout feature of this product is its non-toxic and safe-to-use nature. I used it to fix my child's broken toy, and its safety made me feel more comfortable.
However, I did notice that the mixing ratio of the epoxy is quite sensitive. One must be cautious not to deviate too far from the 1-1 ratio of liquid steel/epoxy resin and the hardener. A slight miscalculation could result in a weaker bond or the need for reapplication.
In conclusion, the J-B Weld Original Cold-Weld Formula Steel Reinforced Epoxy is a must-have for DIY enthusiasts and professionals alike. Its ease of use, remarkable strength, and versatility make it a standout product in its category. Despite the minor drawback of the mixing ratio, the benefits far outweigh the inconvenience.

🔗Insulated Bottle for Long-Lasting Beverages

I recently put the Stanley Classic to the test on an outing to the mountains. This bottle is a true companion for outdoor enthusiasts, with its impressive 18/8 stainless steel construction and BPA-free design. The 1.5 quart capacity means it can handle all types of drinks, from hot coffee to icy coolers, and keep them at the optimal temperature for up to two days. The folding handle is a clever added feature that allows for easy carrying without the risk of it rolling away.
One of the standout features of this bottle is its leakproof design, making it a reliable option for packing in a backpack or storing in a truck bed. The wide mouth also makes it easy to fill and clean, which is especially helpful for those who enjoy making their own homemade brews. However, I did notice that the bottle is quite heavy, weighing in at 2 pounds, making it more challenging to carry for longer periods of time.
Overall, the Stanley Classic is an excellent investment for those who love spending time outdoors and need a reliable companion to keep their drinks at the perfect temperature.

🔗Portable Insulated Water Bottle with Silicone Straw

https://preview.redd.it/l5lg54i64r1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e07172bcc88a069950d96dd4cfb862f209f40f40
I recently had the chance to put the Cooper Stainless Steel Water Bottle to the test, and I have to say, it impressed me with its performance. The most standout feature of this water bottle is its ability to keep drinks cold for an impressive amount of time. I often struggle to find a water bottle that can truly keep my beverage chilled all day long, but this one did just that. The double-walled and vacuum insulated design does an excellent job of maintaining the temperature of the liquid inside.
Another feature I appreciated is the leak-proof lid. No matter how rough I was with it, it never leaked once. The one-touch silicone push button locking mechanism helped keep my bag and clothes dry, while the straw was a fun and convenient addition. Cleaning it was also a breeze, thanks to the top rack dishwasher safe lids and BPA-free materials.
However, I did experience a downside with the product - it isn't suitable for hot beverages. If you're someone who prefers drinking tea or coffee, this may not be the best option for you. Additionally, I found it slightly difficult to fit the bottle in my usual cup holders, which can be inconvenient during travel or at the gym.
Overall, the Cooper Stainless Steel Water Bottle did an incredible job of keeping my drinks cold and providing a leak-proof, easy-to-clean design. Although there were minor drawbacks, I still enjoyed its benefits and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and stylish water bottle.

🔗Stanley 1.1 Qt. Legendary Classic Canteen - BPA-Free Stainless Steel

https://preview.redd.it/fva5u8074r1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=021a8e122aa23b47e0dbf977a9a0b77939f8066e
I recently had the chance to try out the Stanley 1.1 Qt. Classic Canteen, a 18/8 stainless steel bottle that promises to be leakproof, packable, and perfect for outdoor use. At first glance, the canteen looks sleek and sturdy, with a classic design that makes it easy to hold and carry around. It comes equipped with a removeable carrying strap that keeps your hands free and adds a touch of style to the canteen.
One of the standout features of this canteen is its non-insulated stainless steel material, which allows for easy packing while still offering a decent capacity for your favorite beverage. However, I found that the lack of insulation means that the canteen doesn't retain temperature as well as I would have liked. While it's fine for day-to-day use, it's not ideal for taking on long hikes or camping trips where maintaining the temperature of your drink is important.
Another downside to the canteen is the attached cap, which can be a bit tricky to open and close, especially with one hand. Though I appreciate the convenience of having it attached, it would be nice if the cap were more user-friendly and easy to access. Additionally, the metal clips on the carrying strap can be quite loud when walking or hiking, which can be a bit distracting and might not be the most discreet choice for stealthily navigating through the wilderness.
Despite these minor drawbacks, overall I found the Stanley 1.1 Qt. Classic Canteen to be a functional and stylish option for everyday use. It's a good choice if you're looking for a versatile water bottle that won't break the bank, but just remember to manage your expectations when it comes to insulation and noise.

🔗Corkcicle 32oz Sport Canteen: Triple-Insulated, Wide-Mouth Drink Container with Quick Sip Lid

https://preview.redd.it/g8jdgja74r1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5900642083119fc5f56b1e9d8f8477efab04f303
The Corkcicle 32oz Sport Canteen boasts a spacious 950mL capacity, perfect for hydration while on the go. Its quick sip lid adds convenience to everyday use, and the signature flat sides and Duraprene finish ensure a secure grip.
Triple-insulation maintains drinks at their desired temperature for extended periods, making it an ideal choice for both hot and chilled beverages alike. A wide mouth allows for ice cube insertion, while the lid's easy-to-use one-hand opening adds practicality.
Regrettably, some users have experienced issues with the lid's functionality and structure, which may prove a disadvantage for those seeking a seamless drinking experience. Nonetheless, for those seeking a durable, stylish, and functional water bottle, the Corkcicle 32oz Sport Canteen offers an impressive range of features.

🔗Versatile Insulated Water Bottle with Cup Lid

https://preview.redd.it/ba7lnum74r1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4236dde9fc2a1109edb6d8a02ff4d627c9fb186e
This Stanley Classic Legendary Bottle, aptly named "Nightfall, " has become an essential companion in my daily life. The bottle's robustness and dependability have captivated me, as my newfound favorite keeps the brew piping hot during those frigid mornings or even chills your favorite beverage during scorching summer days.
One of the key features that have blown my mind is its innovative, leak-proof design. By using the twist-and-pour stopper, it ensures that my adventures are safe from any accidental mishaps involving the bottle. Moreover, the slim design makes it the perfect single-handed companion, ensuring a comfortable grip.
However, there are a couple of minor nits. The lid being insulated and doubling as a cup is a fantastic idea, but I found it a tad more tedious than convenient during my first few times. Additionally, while the bottle's sturdiness won my heart, it unfortunately lacks a wider mouth, which might make it a bit more practical for my soup-loving, chunky ingredients cravings.
The Stanley's performance has made me believe it's not just about the product but also about the spirit of adventure it represents - one sip at a time. Despite a few minor quirks, it's a reliable bottle worth every penny spent.

🔗Corkcicle Star Wars Darth Vader Canteen: Sleek and Stylish Insulated Travel Drink Bottle

Crafted in the image of the infamous Darth Vader, this Corkcicle Star Wars canteen is not just a stylish way to keep your drinks cool. The 16-ounce canteen promises to keep beverages cold for up to 25 hours or warm for 12, all thanks to its triple-insulated lining. Its stainless steel construction ensures it's not just durable but also perfect to use in any setting, be it by the pool or at the office. The canteen is equipped with a screw-on cap that prevents any liquid from escaping and keeps the temperature consistent inside. The ergonomic design and flat sides make it easy to grip, and its stay-put silicone base ensures it stays securely in your hand, avoiding any spills.
My experience with this canteen has been nothing but stellar. The Star Wars design is not just aesthetically pleasing but also adds a fun touch to my everyday life. The triple-insulation keeps my beverages at their desired temperature for longer, especially during our hot summers. The cap is a great feature that prevents leaks and spills, and the ergonomic design makes it comfortable to hold. However, I wish the product was dishwasher safe as the paint tends to peel off after a few uses, which can be a bit disappointing.

🔗Premium High-Performance Goalie Blades for Enhanced Ice Skating

I recently tried the Step Steel St Goal Blacksteel CCM Replacement Steel - Pair, and I was blown away by its performance. The superior edge quality is evident as it slices through the ice with minimal resistance, providing sharp, fluid movements that make it a game-changer for any goalie.
Designed specifically for CCM 2-Bolt Goalie Cowlings, this complete set comes with both left and right runners, ensuring perfect fit and seamless functionality. Made in Canada, the high-quality craftsmanship is evident in every aspect of the blade, from its sleek design to its exceptional edge durability.
While the hardest possible edge offered by Step Steel Black is undoubtedly impressive, I also appreciate the added Diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating on the mirror side finish, which significantly boosts blade performance by generating a winning combination of low friction and high surface hardness.
What sets Step Steel apart from other blade manufacturers is their innovative aspect ratio, which accelerates pushes across the crease for modern butterfly and hybrid goaltenders. The taller blades and truer profile offer added stability, precision, and width, ensuring less bending or improper sizing upon receiving the product.
Overall, the Step Steel St Goal Blacksteel CCM Replacement Steel - Pair is a game-changing product that combines superior edge quality, innovative design, and unrivaled performance. If you're looking to enhance your goaltending experience, look no further than Step Steel.

2024.05.21 11:27 omegaMKXIII 31 [M4F] Austria/Europe - Looking for my forever lady

General
I am looking for a lady between 28 and 35 years old, for a committed monogamous childfree relationship. My goal is to become a true team, supporting each other, caring for each other, nurturing each other and helping each other grow and realise our goals and dreams as much as possible. I'm hoping to find someone that values a relationship as much as I do and takes it seriously. It's not the only thing my life revolves around, but it's also not just something 'nice to have' for me.
I tried to be as concise as possible while still providing what details I think are crucial to know; I realise this post turned out very long, but I prefer those because I can get as good an idea as possible with detailed descriptions, bar actually talking to the person, and find that very valuable, so if that also applies to you, that would be awesome.
Basics
I am 186cm tall, slim/fit built, dark brown hair, brown eyes. Both my arms are tattooed (full sleeve), as are my calves and the areas above my ankles. Regarding pictures see below. I am a runner (ranging from 5k to full marathon), training multiple times a week. I'm also vegan. My love languages are physical touch and words of affirmation. While I am mostly securely attached, withdrawing from me triggers anxiety and I have made a horrible experience with a fearful avoidant partner in the past, so that is something I fear I cannot deal with again.
I am also an atheist.
I am a very warm, soft and sensitive person, I think I am humorous, I am self reflecting a lot and I can also be really passionate and romantic. Those are traits that also are really important to me in a woman.
I can be quite social, I am a good talker, but also love to listen to really get to know someone on a deeper level. I can enjoy an evening out with friends just as much as the silence of sitting at the shores of the river and watching the sunset in solitude (although I've been craving to watch it together with a partner for a really long time now). I can be out in a pub, at a rave, a metal show or in the stadium watching football and have the time of my life, but I cannot do these things every day; I need recharge time (on the sofa, in the woods for a run, a lazy Sunday staying in bed etc.). This should give you an idea; basically, I am a homebody that thoroughly enjoys going out in moderation.
I won't say too much about hobbies; suffice it to say I am into the dark, the obscure, the macabre, the occult, the mysterious, the erotic. It won't surprise you that I had a gothic phase in my youth, bonus points if you did too!
What I am looking for
Although similar hobbies and interests are a plus (and there have to be at least a couple things we have in common), emotional and sexual compatibility are more important to me. I am a very sensitive and emotional person (I do cry easily and by this point I don't think I'll ever be able to change that, sorry), so if you're too, we will definitely understand each other. I need someone who I can open up to (which I do rather quickly, anyway), be myself, bare my soul to and I need these things from you, too. I've had my share of emotionally unavailable women who were afraid of intimacy so I know I can't deal with that again because of the way how those things affect me. I am always emotionally invested with the woman I pursue and in those cases that was to my detriment. But my ability to feel so deep is also something I wouldn't want to change because as of yet, although it's getting harder, I haven't given up on finding someone.
With those emotional needs come two requirements that I found to be vital over the years: First, being able to be silly and cutesy together and to accept each other's inner child and care for it. I am not talking about having to deal with another person's immaturity or inability to perform basic adult skills, rather with the way sadness, hurt, anxiety and being overwhelmed manifests for me (and maybe for you, too?). I need someone who is able to comfort me, to hold me, to allow me to be weak and needy for a while until I've calmed down, and I'm more than ready to offer the same. Your inner child can come out for a while, no problem (: Also in a positive way: Thankfully, today everyone seems to be understanding of the cuteness overload cats (or any animal baby, really) can cause; I need that with a partner. I also still have plushies as comfort animals (some of which in quite a litteral sense as they make for really amazing pillows) and ideally, you do too.
There is a saying that in every relationship, one person is the stronger one. In the past, I have been with women who obviously were stronger than me, but that doesn't mean they always had to be strong, far from it. I certainly, like I said, need to be able to feel protected, but it's not like I'm a particularly needy partner, like everyone, I have my ups and downs, but I can pull my weight and have been told by past partners that I am very caring and that they felt safe and understood with me, and providing that for my partner is really important for me as well – this just to put the picture I'm (somewhat haphazardly) trying to paint into perspective.
Second, sexual compatibility. I have a high libido and I have kinks, so you should, too, in order that we can explore and enjoy them together. I found out how fulfilling living out those fantasies can be after years of never being able to try and in a relationship, sexual fulfillment for both partners is a must for me. Someone on here has coined the term 'filthy best friends and partners' which I have no shame to be stealing because it's such an apt description.
I'm looking for a balance between healthy independence and being emotionally present. A relationship where we 'get' each other; we're both each other's number one and treat each other like royalty. Where a disagreement leads to more intimacy between us as we understand better, not to resentment. Where we're comfortable baring our souls to each other, becoming a safe haven and secure base for each other. I don't like the modern notion that you 'should never feel too safe in a relationship' because that sounds like running from the mafia (and believe me, I love mafia movies); you should always put in effort, yes, but safety is one of the things I always want to experience and provide in a relationship. We shouldn't fear that a disagreement leads straight to breakup. I know ‘self-sufficiency’ is trending right now, but I feel like as partners, we’re partly responsible for each other and not our own but also each other’s happiness. Being dependant and dependable at the same time is important; making each other’s wellbeing a priority. I love the relationship model outlined in Stan Tatkin’s ‘Wired for Love’ and you should, too. If you’re not able to healthily depend on someone and their support while you’re having a hard time, look elsewhere. I know codependency is the latest thing everyone’s afraid of, but experiencing someone you’ve grown very attached to just bailing because they’re counterdependent and can’t stand working on themselves while simultaneously letting you in is something I’d rather not go through again. If I have to be afraid you’ll run at the first major problem that surfaces, even if it’s a ‘you’-problem, it’s not going to work. I think that all things can and need to be talked about. If you think ignoring someone for days is a form of communication, please look elsewhere. If you think’s it’s okay to lovebomb someone and then leave after a couple of months with the minimum amount of information and no proper conversation because you’re not ready to own up to what’s happening to you emotionally, please look elsewhere.
I am looking for someone real. We all have our problems, I don't want or need a 'perfect' person. You don't have everything figured out or 'all your shit' together. Be imperfect. Admit when you feel sad and angry, lonely, hopeless or even helpless – it's all relatable. Don't hide it. Be quirky, be dorky, be witchy, be opinionated, be yourself. Don't pretend.
I'm looking for someone to share romance with. Not great gestures, but small, meaningful ones. Poems for each other, expressing our feelings; cards with heartfelt messages that we put our perfume/cologne on, and a symbol that means something to us only, the print of your lips with lipstick, the way I sign and seal my letters for you.
Just as important to me is agreeing on living a healthy life, staying in shape both for ourselves and for each other, regularly working out and eating healthy. I am drug and disease-free and expect the same of you. I do drink as I love a good beer or glass of wine, rum or whiskey, but I've never really been drinking much and especially during the past year have further reduced it. One vice I have is that I enjoy a couple of cigars a year, but I can definitely accommodate you in this regard.
Another important point is aligned life goals: many childfree people seem to be adventurous, but that is a trait I don't associate with myself at all. I value safety more than adventure. I want to build a home together with my partner, a safespace for the both of us, where we always feel loved and protected, a place that we create together, make it cozy together so we just love to get back home there wherever we might have been, a home we decorate together for Halloween (my favourite holiday) or Christmas or Springtime, as we live in tune with the seasons, seeing them change around us, enjoying nature on a walk or the rain outside, reading in our cozy home. I value stability and harmony.
Appearance-wise, I am into ladies on the smaller side (albeit not regarding height), so I'm looking for someone petite/slim/skinny/healthy-fit. Likewise, I am not really muscular and don't have visible abs; like I said, I'm a runner, so if you're more into the gym-type, I'm not a good fit.
The natural progression for me would be to move from text to voice calls, videochat and then meeting up, all of that rather sooner than later. Not that there’s a need to rush anything, but having my heart broken because I already developed feelings due to a longer timeframe and then everything unexpectedly turning to shit is not something I want to have to live through again. I’d rather see earlier if we’re compatible or not; as someone who catches feelings fast I need to protect myself, I unfortunately had to learn that
Caveats/Possible red flags
If you're interested, feel free to message me and include some pictures of yourself and I will reply with my own. Have a nice day (:

I certainly need to be able to feel protected, but it's not like I'm a particularly needy partner, like everyone, I have my ups and downs, but I can pull my weight and have been told by past partners that I am very caring and that they felt safe and understood with me, and providing that for my partner is really important for me as well.
Second, intimate compatibility. I am rather insatiable and love to experiment when it comes to the bedroom, so you should, too, in order that we can explore and enjoy together. I found out how fulfilling living out those fantasies can be after years of never being able to try and in a relationship, this kind of fulfillment for both partners is a must for me. I found the term 'filthy best friends and partners' to be a perfect description.
If you’re not able to healthily depend on someone and their support while you’re having a hard time, look elsewhere. If I have to be afraid you’ll run at the first major problem that surfaces, even if it’s a ‘you’-problem, it’s not going to work. I think that all things can and need to be talked about. If you think ignoring someone for days is a form of communication, please look elsewhere.
I am looking for someone real. We all have our problems, I don't want or need a 'perfect' person. You don't have everything figured out or 'all your shit' together. Be imperfect. Admit when you feel sad and angry, lonely, hopeless or even helpless – it's all relatable. Don't hide it. Be quirky, be dorky, be witchy, opinionated, be yourself.
Another important point is aligned life goals: I value safety more than adventure. I want to build a home together with my partner, a safespace for the both of us, where we always feel loved and protected, a place that we create together, make it cozy together so we just love to get back home there wherever we might have been, a home we decorate together for Halloween (my favourite holiday) or Christmas or Springtime, as we live in tune with the seasons, enjoying nature on a walk or the rain outside, reading in our cozy home. I value stability and harmony.
Appearance-wise, I am into ladies on the smaller side), so I'm looking for someone petite/slim/skinny/healthy-fit. Likewise, I am not really muscular and don't have visible abs; like I said, I'm a runner, so if you're more into the gym-type, I'm not a good fit.
I’d prefer to move from text to voice calls, videochat and then meeting up, all of that rather sooner than later. Not that there’s a need to rush anything, but I’d rather see earlier if we’re compatible or not; as someone who catches feelings fast I need to protect myself.
Caveats
If you're interested, feel free to message me and include some pictures of yourself and I will reply with my own. Have a nice day (:

2024.05.21 11:02 SailboatSamuel Is this a good idea for Walmart?

Walmart deals with a lot of theft.
I have an idea that would solve that issue.
Instead of allowing customers to shop simultaneously, Walmart should only allow 1 customers in the store at a time.
When customers pull into the parking lot, they should receive a number. The customer will park and wait for their number to be called. First come, first serve.
Each customer is allowed to shop for 1 hour. The average customer shops for about 30 minutes, so this will allow at least 10 shoppers a day.
If your number isn’t called before the store closes, you will receive a small bottle of Paris Hilton branded perfume to make up for the inconvenience.
Is this a good idea?

2024.05.21 10:47 Snorrreee Why Revolt, Why Not Just Migrate Or Create Gated Communities?

New to the Anarchism thing but after studying it a bit, I must say I agree with a lot of its goals and ideas however I personally say we should:
  1. Develop a paradigm based on social role theory and dramaturgy so that people, and younger generations, stop thinking culture, society and civilization is "reality" that is unchanging and permanent, and instead, look at it like it's a game of pretend or a live action role playing game. This I feel like would teach them that, if their current culture, society, civilization, etc. displeases them in anyway, rather than rebel or attempt to change it or simply submit to a system they didn't create, they should gather together with other dissenters and make their own culture from scratch, migrate and built a society in their own image. It turns culture and society from being this trap into it being a game or art project. Rebels could:
  2. Create their own language
  3. Design their own cultural clothing
  4. Create their own cultural architecture
  5. Create their own interior decoration style
  6. Choose their own cultural diet
  7. Choose their culture's natural habit
  8. Engineer their culture's local ecoystem by adding and/or removing, certain plants, animals and insects(this doubles as a racial engineering art project since, after a while, the population will evolve to adapt to your constructed culture and engineered environment)
  9. Have laws that are based on the group's shared likes and dislikes
  10. Etc.
  11. Ignore politics and instead, gather together with everyone who agrees with your idea for a constructed culture and form gated communities in the a city or town
  12. Share income and gather funds and resources until you're ready to migrate(communal bank)
  13. To avoid hierarchy, specialization, etc. perhaps develop an educational system that is hands on and based on a system of mentorship, apprenticeship and rotational volunteering, so that all members of your community become experts at all the hobbies, jobs, art forms, etc. that are integral to your community
  14. In the future, when your constructed culture is fully developed, you can open schools for dissenting members of your culture to go to where they can learn about other nations and other cultures and choose one to migrate to(the community would aid in this migration) if they don't have a desire to make a new culture from scratch
To get back to my question, why vote, argue, rebel, protest, fight, revolt? Why not just gather together and migrate instead?

2024.05.21 09:07 chjeran How to make my PS2 NOT look like an Uber?

Alright this is a half rant half advice-seeking post.
In my country (Australia) there’s a leasing company called Splend that purchased a ton of MY21-23 Polestar 2s (99% without plus pack) and lease them to Uber drivers.
I drive a MY22 PS2 Plus+Pilot thunder model, which looks incredibly alike with the PS2 Ubers as a result. The only 2 visual differences between mine and the Splend PS2 are 1) mine got a sunroof 2) my plate does not start with “SPL”.
So honestly, other than giving the car a wrap or some crazy decoration/mod, is there any way or any visual improvements/decorations/alterations i can do to my PS2 please?
I know it’s childish to ask because at the end of the day it is what it is, but i still want to give it a shot if there are good ideas!! Thanks bros and sis!!

The fruits of my first kandi sesh + massive phrase list

The normal sized beads and pony beads are from my mom's craft stuff that she hasn't used in years, and the teeny tiny beads and letter beads are from my meager stash!
Go Piss Girl was my first one ever, I want to restring it with some quirky yellow beads I found. I went through my entire bag of letter beads to find the grungiest ones.
Hello Kitty was fun, I tried it on my own and then watched a tutorial because I couldn't figure it out. The weed leaf is made with iridescent green beads, I think they're 12mm because they feel bigger than normal pony beads. I used the same ones to make the alien charm, which I designed myself and is now hanging from my rear view mirror! The charm is kinda bent because the black beads are smaller than the green ones, but I still tried to tug it pretty tight.
The Patrick star is a gift for my best friend, I was inspired by someone else on here. (Quick note: Inner star is 5 pink for body, 5 green for pants. Making this is easier of you lay out your beads first)
Bisexy Babe was an excuse to try my hand at something I saw on here, I saw someone make the little flag and I couldn't resist. It's so small that the ladder stitch flops sometimes, and my beads being different sizes doesn't help. I still love it :)
Cinephile was an experiment, I'm fully aware that I'll look like a FiLm bRo if I wear it out but it reminded me of a film reel, what can you do. So I have these absolutely miniscule glass beads from a cheapy Walmart set, and after struggling to even get the string through them I put some clear beads over them. It makes a nice sound and I think it looks kinda cool.
For Repo Man, I used the same technique in one place. I used a few tiny beads that would slip through the bigger opening of a normal pony bead, so I put a black glass bead to keep the small beads in place and then put a black pony bead over it. I really like the result! (And I found out I can't make random bracelets to save my life, all the beads on this one are very strategically placed because of their sizes and shapes and how I wanted the colors to look.) It's not a particularly sneaky reference but I still want to know who gets it 👀
Eep I'm afraid to cut the strings off of some of them because I haven't put clear nail polish on the knot yet. And I already know that elastic string isn't the best, but it's what I had on hand and I'm trying to blast through it so I don't just throw it away.
NOW FOR THE PHRASE LIST PART: I've seen lists on here and screenshots of people's lists from their notes apps, and I started gathering all my ideas into one place too. I was using a part of one of my Notion pages, but that just got too unruly. And I always had the idea for a spreadsheet, so I went ahead and made one. Sometimes I feel like I'm too organized for the kandi spirit 😅
I'm a little embarrassed to share just because it's so poindexter, and there's a lot of inside jokes and cringe shit that I'm into, but as of posting this I have 220+ entries into a Notion table (I have it set to show how many because I love seeing the number go up), and they're tagged with themes/fandoms (space, Spongebob, etc), phrase length (how many words), and I have a section for notes about how I'd like it to look. I also have inappropriate ones tagged as nsfw/vulgar so I can click over to a sanitized and presentable list if I need to.
Thanks for checking out my very verbose kandi debut! Let me know what you think!

Entry way wall slats ideas
I’m thinking of adding wood slats to my partial entry way. I’m still testing out the wood color, debating between current wood color or lighter wood like birch color. Im going to put a gallery wall right next to the slats.
I’ve been looking at this for quite some time, feels like I hit a bit of a wall. Any idea on decorating the entry way? Take out the slats or add more slats?

2024.05.21 06:26 Honest-File9357 Some (kinda) new player questions

Been playing since about half way through the re zero collab event and while I've gotten somewhat comfortable with the grind I had a few general questions:
  1. Do the arena tickets, and I guess by extension pvp past getting a decent placing in special arena for occasional gems, ever really matter? I've maintained a pretty high ranking both in newbie and special arena so I've gotten a decent amount of the things but I pretty much just buy the profile decoration things (because why not, ig) and maintain 200 of each of the element skill things (cus it's a fun number ig, idk). The equipment you can buy always seems like it just sucks for a whole lot, guess I'm wondering if that gets better as you go.
  2. What's the general strategy behind the train special interception? I've gotten to the point I can clear chatterbox and Modernia fights easily enough, make it almost to the end for grave digger (who was my old nemesis before getting to special interceptions) and the other bosses but consistently get wiped pretty early on for the the train. (My go to team is Milk, Drake, Crown, Dorothy and Emilia)
  3. I use the body shop tokens for high quality molds to fuel my addiction for actually having a chance of getting SS maybe one day breaking the level limit, but in the long run would it be better to use the currency on some of the recycle tokens? I've still leveled it up a fair bit from event stores and what not but wondering how much of an impact it makes compared to leveling, skills, limit breaking, and equipment.
  4. .Going off the team I posted earlier and me being in the fire dragon chapter (and only getting this far because of the 3 a day uses of level 200 nikkes the game gets you) should I be focusing more on leveling certain nikkes to run at a deficit better or still just try my best to keep up with the CP requirement? I'm still using Milk because she's my only MLB character (outside of Kilo, who I've also played with the idea of subbing Emilia out for) but I've gotten access to better B1 Nikkes (Pepper, Volume, Tia, and Miranda) and wondering if I should use them even if my total CP will take a noticeable dip. I also have objectivly speaking stronger B3 options than Drake but Drake <3.
  5. How much does the stat bonus from affection matter? I'm level 27 and growing with Drake (because Drake <3) but other than that I stop to unlock other stories/ get gems from Nikkes I don't actually care about.
Edit: Hope I don't catch some ban for circumventing some stupid "you can't comment because low karma" rule or something but thanks for the answers.
I do actually have Sakura, looked at her kit once and thought "well that's oddly specific and kinda lame" guess it wouldn't hurt to give her a chance.
Dorothy is a total chad of a B1 unit from what I can tell (especially for bosses) and crown seems like the undisputed B2 unit so I kinda figured milk would have to make room for another B3 unit, which works fine for me. Some potential units are Maxwell (who have limit broken twice, and was already thinking about subbing out Emilla for), Noir, Helm, Sugar (also limit broken twice), or I guess Kilo and keeping Emilia
Don't want to keep editing this post so thank you in advance for any help, even if I can't respond xoxo

2024.05.21 06:08 slackamo October Wedding Vibe Help

I just found this subreddit. Please don’t come after me if this is the wrong place to post. I’m brand new 🖤
Some details: I just got engaged. We are holding it next year in October. The venue has very kitschy & dark, spooky season vibes. This is right up my alley. Lots of black and dark wood, vintage furniture, lots of kitschy and dark decor, elements of moon and stars, outdoor and nature elements. My dress and our theme colors will be black and dusty rose/carmine.
But I do not participate in witchcraft or any kind of pagan religious beliefs. Because of this, I want to be respectful and not use the word “witchy” vibes.
The problem: I am having trouble trying to describe it. When I describe the attire or when trying to search for stuff for our event, I’m coming up short.
  1. Dark sounds more ominous than what I’m going for.
  2. Goth isn’t right because it’s really not true to the asthetic and lifestyle.
  3. Halloween isn’t right either because when I hear Halloween, I think pumpkins and bright orange and costumes. Not against Halloween at all. We do plan to lean into a bit with Halloween candy bowls for fun. But it won’t be on Halloween. Early October.
  4. We are incorporating the moon and stars element to our invitations so what about like dark celestial vibe? But that doesn’t quite feel right.
Can anyone help? I’m open to any and all suggestions and ideas. Our planning is very lax and laid back. People can wear whatever and no assigned seating. We want everyone to just come out and hang out with us while we exchange our forever vows. Thanks so much!

Just that. I am talking the "Free Range" and "Helicopter Parenting" styles.
No one in the entirety of Reddit or most of the internet can seem to actually adjust the pros and cons of each. They all just fall into one extreme: either the morons who let kids barely out of toddler years wander miles away without knowing where they go and blindly dismiss any sort of risk or problems that occur from young kids being alone(because they did and conveniently nothing happened so I guess it means its okay for literally everyone ever) and then insult you for daring to question this at all.
Or on the other hand, if you don't get that, you get someone who is paranoid about a teenager walking five minutes to freaking Walmart in a safe area.
There is no freaking middle ground; the idea that this is a nuanced issue (depending on time, place, age of child, maturity, crime rates, etc) is lost on everyone I have seen discussing this and the most people can do is try to strawman each other.
TLDR: People on reddit and online in general can not seem to fathom this issue is nuanced and just fall under one of two extremes.

2024.05.21 05:47 Someone1843 (USA) Should I apply to mcdonalds

I’m 17 yo and I’m graduating high school in 2 days. I was wondering if applying to mcdonalds would be a good idea since I don’t have anything to do over the summer. I’ve already applied to work at walmart but they probably won’t accept my application. Ive never had a real job other than working part time at my dad’s store as a cashier and stocker and the reason why I’m applying to mcdonalds is because they have easy interviews and hire everyone and ive never had a job interview so I know I’ll mess up with harder interviews. I heard many say that working there isn’t very good so should i go for it or just look for something else? I can still work with my dad but I want to see how working for someone else is. Thanks

Bioactive tank - thoughts?
Spent the last week building my girl an upgrade tank! So excited to provide her with a more enriching tank. Just wanted to share, see if anyone had any input or ideas. 💖
(She’s currently not moved into it yet, still in her old tank till I feel ready).
✨The far right side that’s empty is where her hot hide / basking spot will be going (it’s in the old tank with her now and will be moving over with her).
✨Her UVB light / DHP + dimmer is also with the old tank she’s current occupying, will be moving over with her. The lights in these photos on the new tank are some led grow lights I bought for the live plants that I have on a timer.
✨I have two large pieces of wood that will be moving over with her. She likes to climb on them, bask on them, go under them. Once moved over they will create more shade/privacy than you see now.
✨Today I released blue powder isopods + springtails as my clean up crew. New to this but from my research I think those were good choices? Im gonna seal the holes on the ventilation part under the glass doors to keep the spring tails from escaping? Thinking just a piece of electrical tape? Im kinda unsure about how much clean up crew to add as well, when to replenish them, if I ever do, etc. I did throw down leaf litter because I read they will eat that? Also thinking my plants will create wet/moist spots for them to hang out at.
✨I’m nervous about watering the plants and creating to wet of substrate so I created a drainage layer for the water to run off into? The plants aren’t buried in the actual substrate, they’re in little plastic plant containers with holes/gaps. My thought is I’ll pour water directly into them each week, the plants will get their water soak and all the excess water will drain into the drainage layer underneath instead of spreading into all the substrate? And the cleanup crew will have those wet spots at the plants? Also nervous about creating to much humidity from the regular plant watering. Was thinking about buying a little portable dehumidifier to sit on top of the tank + usb fan? My current tank she’s in is already a bit high (50-55% on the regular) and that’s without plant watering, so I just think that’s gonna be a thing I have to figure out. Pretty nervous about it being to humid.
✨Was reading some post today about how moss can be a choking hazard / be bad for them? And I used so much of it in there, around the plants to hide the plastic pots / around the pvc pipe for the drainage layer to hide it, etc. Should I remove the chunks of moss? Was thinking about using decor rocks instead as filler? And maybe less moss would actually help maintain lower humidity since I’m expecting that to be a thing?

2024.05.21 05:34 Global_Profession_26 I think I have what I need, but I would like some more experienced opinions

I'm doing an audio overhaul in my1995 k1500. Removed my old stuff from an older vehicle and bought some higher end stuff to add to it. Just wanted to make sure that everything I plan to do will work and it will not be unbalanced mainly due to the different amps and new sub. Also, I will take recommendations on any changes.
Head Unit Atoto S8 Standard: 24x4 RMS with built in DSP
Atoto
Front Door Speakers/SSA Evil Component set 4 ohm: : tweeters-max 65 rms. 6.5" speaker 125 rms max each
SSA Evil
rear door speakers: Cheap boss speakers 4 ohm with inline filters preventing < 200hz. I found all 4x6 are kinda meh so I just installed these and the head unit so far. I'll like em just for rear fill.
Boss
5 way 6x9s under back seat in boxes/ Kenwood 125 rms max each 4 ohm
Kenwood
15" Brahma. Dual 4 ohm. Center Console. A little more than 2 cubic feet with 2 one way air valves so the sub can suck more air, but hit like a sealed box, I think. Let me know if I have the wrong idea there please. I want more SQ not so much the SQL, but probably will attempt to hit 20 hz at times because why not, but I want to hear the sound more than shake my neighbor's walls.
Brahma
Amp for sub: Rockville Fosgate Atom p60 4 ohm 720 watts RMS 2 channel
Amp Rockville
AMP for 6x9s and front doors: Planet Audio 800.4 RMS questionable (100 per channel at 4ohms), but pushes the 6x9s pretty loud, not sure about the 6.5s yet or if it is enough to keep up with the sub though.
Planet Audio Amp

I hope all the links work. Anyways, its a pretty straight forward install except I want to push the tweeters from the 6.5 SSA component set with the head unit. It has the crossover and says I can use different channels for each speaker if I understand correctly. Is this a bad idea? The actual 6.5 speaker would get its signal from the planet audio amp along with the 6x9s.
The rear door speakers would be with the tweeters on the head unit just for rear fill. That just leaves the sub which I plan to run both channels from the Rockville to each driver of the sub. All 4 ohm I believe. Of course, Ill be double checking all that. So, That leaves me with 720 rms at the sub and like maybe 300 rms at all the speakers with mids and highs. Do you think this is too unbalanced? I can easily replace the amp if I don't like it, but there are a lot of factors here that I can only read about to know what I am getting into. I don't want to continue all this and not like it is all. Anyone with more experience is welcome to comment. Ill be using a kit from rockville for the amps its Here. Just a 0 guage kit with split block and fuses. 150 amps at the split block and a 2 farad Capacitor. I may or may not use the Capacitor. Never used one before, but this is a larger system than I have had in a long time. My sub low pass will be set around 80hz, and my mids will be set around 60hz I think. Will take recommendations.
I used to run a 12" sub from German Audio (Out of Business?) that I picked up at a pawn shop and it actually sounded pretty good, but it made me wanna know what a nicer setup would be like. I'm not sure that the 12 was even a bad sub though. Cant find anything on it and its a heavy little sucker with a big magnet. So this is where I am at. Any advice welcome. Or if I am missing anything. Obviously, the final touches will be up to me, but I'd like to be dropped off closest to the destination if you will. Thank you.

2024.05.21 05:12 PeytonManningsPrius Advice for 19 year old with no idea what to do as a career?

Hey y’all. I’m absolutely so lost with what I want to do as a career and was hoping to get some ideas. I’ve looked into being a nurse, but it seems really hard, and math and science have never been my strong suit, but I love chaotic jobs that force me to move around a lot and be social. I was a good student in high school overall, but never saw myself working in healthcare, until I got into my current job which is a pharmacy technician. I find it very boring, just filling prescriptions all day and doing boring computer stuff without moving around too much, but the education I’ve had to do leading up to it is pretty interesting. I used to be a department manager at Walmart and I LOVED it aside from a few shitty bosses I had, and eventually I saw myself becoming a store manager, but the more I talked to people the less I think it is a realistic choice even though I would love it. The competition is unimaginable and it sucks getting up to that point (terrible schedule, long hours, average pay). I’m going to college because I felt like I had to but really I have no idea what I want to do with my life. Plz help! I’m very social, bubbly, and energetic and I would like a decent paying job that doesn’t require more than 4 years of school. Any ideas?
