I’m almost 17 years old and I’m planning on getting bottom surgery as soon as possible (18 where I live) I’ve been on blockers for a while now and I get I can’t be on them forever but still. I’m about to start estrogen (late I know lol) but they want to take me off my blockers and I’m genuinely terrified to come off them. I know I’ll be on estrogen but there is a possibility that there might be some irreversible changes and I don’t get why I can’t just stay on my blockers until I get the surgery. Def something I’ll have to bring up to my endocrinologist lol

For the first time in 18 years, I have finally upgraded from an Epiphone SG. I was thinking about getting an American, but after some research, decided to settle for this and absolutely love it.
With the extra money not spent on going American, I ended up buying a DAW and a plug in so I can play in the later hours without disturbing my housemates. Having the audio of my guitar and audio from a PC with songs or YouTube videos all going to one source is such a great and convenient feature I wish I looked into way sooner.
Also, having the ability to mess around with different tunings on my Epiphone and keeping the Strat in standard is another great QoL improvement.

I was trading back in 1998 for the first time, today I'm looking at NTAP which was at 153 in 2000. After 24 years, this thing is moving again, and by the looks of it ( monthly candles ) it's winding up for a nice run. (Check out MU after it cleared a similar run for the high.) Very interesting to hold some long dated leaps here at 112. Company financials look solid AF. I'm long on this one for full disclosure. I'm also avoiding short dated options for a while, sideways chop is very damaging. All the best!

It had technically been a lie, but they'd bought it.
Still, there was a feeling deep in the pit of his stomach that told him that this was not over yet, and almost as soon as he had the thought, he woke in the mountain cave he'd wandered to in order to seek out the Fay, with a splitting headache, short of breath. Hi I had filed a 100k gross income back in 2019 and 2020 however I realized I didn’t take advantage of tax deductions that I could’ve utilized.
Basically I did my taxes last minute to try and take advantage of Covid stimulus and I got some of it however I have a tax bill of tens of thousands of dollars.
Combined between federal and state it’s like $50,000. Orig ally it was only like $35k but it grew to $50k because of interest.
I got a bunch of mail from tax offices to help me reduce the liability but in all honest, I have been making payments for 6 months and mind you I didn’t even get the full stimulus that I was expecting.
So I basically incurred a tax bill that I otherwise could’ve avoided had I done my taxes correctly.
I do gig work and had an online business.
However I was using the money from gig work to invest in online business. So I had great “gross income” but because of my other investments, tax deductions I could’ve taken advantage of, I wasn’t suppose to pay anything in taxes.
I also got max unemployment as well.
Just curious to see if I amend my taxes to where my tax liability would be nothing, would I get in trouble for this?
Basically I still make the same income I always did, it’s just that some seasons I may get money from one gig and put it towards another but I wouldn’t take advantage of how to properly file all this.
I just told irs I made $100k a year (which I did) but as far as they’re concerned I just made $100k from practically nothing with no expenses.
Can I go back to amend my old taxes to include my expenses?
I’m hoping I won’t be audited or get in trouble with department of labor because even if I pay on my taxes I’d basically be making payments for years when I shouldn’t have a tax bill that high

I have the chance to go to UM or UChicago for an 8-year dual-degree program. Because of the nature of the program, I will not have to pay tuition and will be awarded a modest COL stipend of $45k/yr. It seems that what I can afford in either city is relatively similar - probably won’t have a car in Chicago, will definitely need one in Miami. Food/groceries in Miami seem cheaper. Rent is crazy in the most desirable neighborhoods of both.
I’m from central FL, family from Colombia. I have never lived in Miami (visited many times though). Location is super important but so are the opportunities- that said, 8 years is a really long time to be in one place and I feel guilty moving far from my family.
I also am really hoping to find a likeminded partner during my time in school. Am in my early 20s and want to be with someone who shares my background, which I think may be easier in Miami. That said, I’ve heard a lot of negative things about the superficiality of the dating scene which makes me nervous.
Another big draw is proximity to family and the Spanish speaking community here, which I think would help me feel more comfortable and at home during my training .
On the other hand, Chicago seems like a wonderful city with so much to offer. UChicago is a huge deal. I feel that I could grow so much as a person and professional, while also building resilience. That said, Chicago is just such a big change. I’m currently living in NY (been here for two years) and struggled my first winter. I could be intentional and fly into FL every other month, but IK it’s not the same as living in MIA.
Anyone have thoughts they’re willing to share?

The only thing left for me to do is to put the updated items in the pedestals so I can access the portal whenever I want. Truth is: I really don’t want to grind for those updated items.
I already accessed the new portal with a random team and have all the new schematics so I’m willing to bring and share items with whoever needs them (legendary tools, pap3 crystals, dog bones, anything else I have available that one might need).

Just moved into my first house here in Georgia and it's a whole new world compared to apartment living! Finally got some space to spread out with a garage, yard, and the whole shebang. Since I'm a complete newbie to homeownership, I'm turning to you for some advice.
I'm on the hunt for those Buy It For Life (BIFL) essentials – tools, kitchenware, yard equipment, anything you can think of! No suggestion is a bad one, as long as it's built to last. Trying to set myself up for success in this new chapter.

My client (US based startup funded by VC) bought a 100% owned foreign subsidiary, and they are transferring funds sporadically to the subsidiary to fund their operation. Both companies are R&D and not making any profit, just lots of expenses.
What would be a good way to structure the transfer on the tax return? I am thinking as intercompany loans? Any advice on how to figure out the interest would also be appreciated, since the transfer s are sporadic. They would transfer 200k one month, then 100k the next. They are jointly doing research and closely collaborating.

Just saw that the fender site recently (I think today) changed the list price of the JMJM from $499 to $1069. Most stores are still listing it for the $499 price, but that seemed like an insane jump to me. A 114% price increase in one day seems crazy ha ha.

Hello. I have been playing this game for a few weeks and everything was alright. Grinding XP kind of sucked but I've had worse grinds.
But then I exposed a major flaw in the catching system. While laying in bed playing Let's Go Pikachu in handheld mode, I was trying to catch Moltres. It wasn't going well and I was getting sweaty in an attempt to defeat this children's game. In my excitement, I applied too much pressure to the right side of my switch and my joycon snapped off on that side (third party). I tried to press it back in, but the pressure caused the Switch to slip out of my grip and launch itself like a hellfire missile into my upper lip.
Now I am bleeding profusely in my mouth and I have no controllers, except for the Pro controller which is not allowed because of the low risk of personal injury. I know a lot of people say they like the catching system, but I have played many Pokemon games and this is the first one to make me bleed. I think they should consider tweaking the difficulty so that nobody is bleeding or sad.
