PSYCHIC DRIVING: DYNAMIC IMPLANT BY D. EWEN CAMERON
In an earlier communication, the procedure of psychic driving has been described in some detail.** Briefly, it is the exposure of the patient to continued replaying, under controlled conditions, of a cue communication derived from one of the original areas from which his current difficulties arise. A major consequence of such exposure is to activate and bring progressively into his awareness more recollections and responses generally from this area. The ultimate result is the accelerating of therapeutic re- organization.
It was early noted that continued replaying of a cue communi- cation sets up a persistent tendency in the patient to act in a way which can be predetenaained with respect to its general characteristics. In other words, by driving a cue statement one can, without exception, set up in the patient a persisting tendency for the cue statement and other components of the relevant "com- nmnity of action tendencies" to return to his awareness. This tendency has been termed the dynamic implant. By "community of action tendencies," a group of related activities and attitudes is meant--such as, for instance, those existing between the patient and his mother, or those related to his feelings of inadequacy.
Since, clearly, this continuing result of psychic driving might greatly enhance its effects, considerable study has been directed to the conditions controlling the setting up of the dynamic implant and to the effects of the implant. The findings are reported here- with.
PROCEDURE
The dynamic implant may be set up either by autopsychic or heteropsychic driving. The first procedure consists in the repeated playing of a cue communication made by the patient. The second is the replaying of a communication devised by the therapist from his knowledge of the patient's dynamics.

704 PSYCI-IIC DRIVING: DYNAMIC IMI'LAlX:T
Since autopsyehic driving is more easily carried out, this re- port has been based upon that type, with implants set up by means of periods of 10 to 30 minutes' driving--repeated, if neees- sary, once a week.
Preferably, the communication should deal with one topic only and should not be longer than about 20 seeonds. In practice, the material is derived from a psychotherapeutie hour whieh has been recorded on magnetic tape. It has been found useful to transfer these communications to 14-inch records and to reproduce them through a high fidelity phonograph adjusted for continuous playing.
The communication should be derived from a community of action tendencies which are of basic signifieanee to the patient. Moreover, it is most effeetive if taken from the time of origin of this eomlnunieation. It may, for instance, be selected as ex- pressive of one of the great formative relationships of the earlier part of the patient's life, as in the following eommunieation, in which the patient is reliving her early relationships with her mother :
"Everything about me was wrong--the way I acted, the way I spoke, the way I dressed.., everything, everything I did. Many times she [the patient's mother] would just talk and talk and talk, and . . . well, I ean't go thinking up these things."
Or it may be drawn from a long-eontinuing elimate of rejection, insecurity, or hostility whieh prevailed during a critical early period in the patient's personality growth:
"Now that I think about it, seems to me that my parents had me just to even up the family . . . not because they wanted me 9 . . because of eourse their attitude towards me . . . Gee, I don't remember the boys getting as much hell as I did.., or my sister." The signifieanee of the eue eommunieation must be assessed, not only in terms of the therapist's conception, but also in terms of the patient's response. The two do not neeessarily eoineide.
The second is the more realistic guide. The following is an example of the patient's immediate response
to the implanting of a eae eommunieation. For the purposes of presentation, a response at the upper level of intensity has been seleeted. The ease is that of a woman suffering from anxiety
D. E W E N CAMERON~ IVi.D. 705
hysteria with many conversion symptoms. The cue communica- tion ran as follows:
"I stayed home all the time when my mother lived. I stayed with her.., didn't want to leave her. I was always left staying home with her and... I didn't have any life like all.., the other girls."
On the first implanting on January 4, 1955, the patient, who had come in that day and rather gaily said that she had nothing on her mind and nothing to talk about, was silent. At the end of five sdnutes she said, "It makes me nervous, you'd better stop it... it makes me feel bad." She was now restless and anxious and very different from the gay person she had been when she came at the beginning of the hour. At eigl~t minutes: "Doctor doctor, I've had enough, please stop it." Holds head. Nine min- ut,es: "That's enough. It makes me nervous to hear that." Ten minut,es: "Why don't you stop it, doctor. I've heard enough. It is always the same."
At the end of 10 minutes, the patient was asked: "What did you think about it?" Answer : "It made me nervous all over again. Everything hurt me all over as it did before. My voice sounds like I am going to die." She then went on to bring out a great deal of new material, saying: ")~iy mother almost might not have had me, I was so quiet as a child." And again: "After my mother died, my father gave up his music and began to drink. I tried to take her place for him. I wanted so badly to please him and I cried every night and I tried to carry on. i kept everything very much to myself. My father was like a child. I had no friends by the time my mother died, I had stayed at home so much."
If the cue communication evokes too great a response from the patient, it will, in a measure, defeat its own purpose, since defenses will be erected which may take a considerable time to reduce.
The writer would like to state here clearly an answer to a question which he is sure will arise in everybody's mind. In two years of exploration into this new field, covering more than 100 cases, in only one has there been seen a possible persisting trauma resulting from the implant; and even here, current events ---such as the breakdown of a love affair and threatened deporta-
706 PSYCHIC DRIVING: DY~A~IIC IMPLA~:T
tion--undoubtedly contributed to, if they did not cause, the panic state through which the patient passed.
As an example of a cue communication which is not well chosen, the following is presented. It was selected earlier in the writer's experience and, as can be seen, is drawn from a period when the patient's personMity structure was already well developed; it is representative of current stress and is not expressive of those forces which brought about a formation of the early neurotic traits which have got the patient into continual dif~.culties through her insatiable seeking for affection and endless understanding:
"Well... because... I%obert doesn't care.., and I have always thought I would have it in time [a house] . . . and I have been very patient . . . and I don't know whether it has just suddenly 9 . . I realize now it is all so hopeless, thinking about it."
After considerable experimentation, two additional procedures which facilitate the establishment of the implant have been found. The first is tha~ the sound should be conducted to the patient's ears through headphones. This causes the patient to experience the driving with much greater impact, the more particularly since he frequently describes it as being like a voice within his head. For instance, one patient said: "I've heard enough. It goes right through my head." Another reported: "It's too close; it's horrible; I hear all the stuttering."
A second procedure is to produce a filtered record: that is, having a recording made of the cue communication with the emphasis first upon treble notes and then upon bass; or, again, with the emphasis upon a low volume or a high volume; or with spacing or repetition of key phrases; or with the introduction of an echo-back into the communication. All these variations serve to keep the patient continuously oriented toward each repe- tition and, hence, serve to diminish the most common defense-- not listening.
On November 9, 1954, the first attempt was made, using an ordinary record to implant the following communication:
"I was afraid of them all the time. I mean I didn't dare... talk anything over with them whenever I went out on a date or something like that . . . I mean a lot of kids . . . you know . . . they'd come home and tell everything they did and everything .,. I never.. 9I always felt as if I would be scolded, I mean if
D. E W E N CAMEIION~ M[.D. 707
I ever did mention what I had done and then I wouldn't do it." At the end of 10 minutes, the patient, who had shown no re- sponse, said, "Is that a record, doetorf' Asked what she felt, she said: "I had no feeling at all as I listened; I was thinking
of something else." The same communication was then set up in filtered form. To
this the patient's response was at once different. ,She eommented that she felt extremely tired after listening to it, that the voice sounded as though it were inside her head; and she said: "It brought back a lot of memories of my childhood days." A few weeks later, when it was used again, the patient said: "When I listen to that voice now, I feel like screaming and putting on a tantrum. The voice seems to scream at me all the time. It is like the voice of a stranger, though I know it is my own. It seems to say, 'I was afraid of being scolded.' It says it over and over again. It makes me think that even with my husband and my father and my father-in-law I have to hide things from them. I feel trapped. I feel I can't talk to anyone."
Experience shows that the implant can most readily be set up if the driving is carried out during the last 10 minutes of the psychotherapeutic period, the reason for this apparently being that best results are obtained if nothing is done to interrupt the ongoing response of the patient to the fresh implant--as would be the ease if one continued therapy afterward. It is some- times useful, however, to spend some five minutes asking the patient what fresh recollections the implant has brought up. This inm~ediately widens the area of the patient's response and probably tends to stabilize the implant.
A question which must be met at this juncture is: Why is it that statements which the patients have already made, had for- mulated in their own minds, and had listened to themselves utter- ing, should be so potentially disturbing when replayed to t h e m - f a r more so than when they first made them, never more than a week before and sometimes only 10 minutes before. This question has been explored in some detail and reported earlier. Discussion will be limited to three brief statements: (1) The work involved in listening is far less than the work involved in speaking; hence the patient, when listening, is much freer to respond to what he hears. (2) The law of the summation of subliminal stimuli
708 PSYCI-IIC DRIVI~rG : DYNA~[IC I~iPLANT
seems to be operative: The longer one listens to a statement, the more response it evokes. (3) In all of us, a defense is set up against responding to all the implications of what we say. This defense appears to be with respect to a synthesis of air- conducted and tissue-conducted sound. The recorder, making use as it does of air-conducted sound only, evades this defense.
A. Findings R,el;ative to Process of Setting up of Implant
Several factors governing the establishment of an implant have been identified:
Intensity of Response. The intensity of the response of the individual to the driving period tends to increase the dynamic character of the implant which is thus set up. This is true whether t h e response takes the form of tension, anxiety, hostility, un- happiness or any other facet of the intensification response. This statement must be qualified in that, as the area involved becomes progressively activated by the patient and worked through by him, the intensity of the response will, after having risen to its maximum intensity, graduMly decline. Factors limiting the in- tensity of the response are: the patient's defense, his stress toler- ance, and his capacity for desensitization. These will be discussed la~er.
Amount and R.epet#i:on of Driving. Repetition of the driving of the cue communication on subsequent days will reinforce the dynamic aspects of the implant. Less clear is what the optimum amount should be, either of the driving on any given day, or the frequency of the driving within a series of .days. The practice has been to limit driving to 10 or 15 minutes on any given day, as it is found that thereafter the patient usually succeeds in establishing defenses or becomes so disturbed as to be unwilling to continue. The repetition of the driving thus far has been limited to a maximum of once a week and a. minimum o~[ about once a month.
Defenses. The defenses against the setting up of an implant are essentially the defenses against psychic driving itself.* The chief of these defenses are: (a) inhibitory reaction to implanting by thinking of other things; (b) suppression of emotional reaction to the material; (e) denial of responsibility for the statement,
'~Cameron, D. Ewea: Ibid.
D. E W E N CAI~IEIIONj I~.D. 709
as where the patient states, "I listen to it as though it were a stranger talking"; and (d) misinterpretation; this is much less frequent, but on occasion patients succeed in completely reversing the sense of a statement, even when repeated 30 or 40 times, by changing it from an affirmative to a negation.
Methods of penetrating the defense which have been most successful are: (1) continued repetition; (2) the use of the ear- phones; and (3) the use of the filtered record, as indicated earlier in this paper. This last procedure, by its continuous shift in pitch, in volume, in spacing, and by other devices, penetrates the patient's defenses by repeated evoking of what Pavlov has termed in the animal the "orientation reflex." Other methods, such as psychic driving carried out during mild sodium amytal narcosis or during continuous sleep or during the induction phase of ni- trous oxide, have not been nearly so successful. In practice, the penetration of defenses has not been found to be a serious prob- lem.
B. Findings ReLativ:e to the Effects of the Dynamic Implan.t
- Stress Tolerence. Knowledge concerning this is rather limited; but it would appear, from preliminary observations, that patients vary considerably in their ability to bear stress. Those who can tolerate stress well will, in general, show less tendency to react to psychic driving by the setting up of a lasting implant. On the other hand, those who tolerate stress very poorly are likely to respond, either by withdrawal from the driving situation alto- gether or by the setting up of powerful defenses.
- Capacity for Desensitization. Concerning this phenomenon, there is still less information. But~ from experience in other fields, it would appear that here, again, patients vary considerably in their ability to desensitize themselves; and those who cannot de- sensitize themselves readily will show a persistence of the implant for longer periods.
Mobi:li.zation of Action Tendencies and Progressive Problem Identificc~tion. The dynamic implant, especially when reinforced by repeated driving, tends to mobilize more and more of the com- ponents of the community of action tendencies from which it was taken. These components tend to appear in the patient's awaxe- ness. This fact, in turn, facilitates problem identification by the
710 PSYCHIC DI~IVING : DYNAIViIC II~PLANT
patient and the therapist. This progress may be assessed in the following ways: (a) by the extent to which the patient thinks about the cue communication in the period between his treat- ments, and the extent to which his ruminating over the cue com- munication evokes new material; (b) by the new material which is evoked at the time of reinforcement of the implant--namely, by playing the material back again on a subsequent occasion; (c) possibly by general shifts in the behavior of ~he individual subsequent to implantation; for instance, it may be possible to demonstrate that the fact that the patient is now sleeping better is related tooreorganization brought about by the implant; (d) dreams and psyehologieM testing may also reveal the reorganiz- ing force being exerted by the hnplant.
The first two methods of assessment are obviously the most direct and scientifically satisfying.
Illustrative of the progressive problem identification brought about by the dynamic implant, is the case of a girl who had come to therapy suffering from long-term feelings of inadequacy, marked dependency and a highly ambivalent attitude toward the male figure. The cue statement was:
"... and there's . . . uh... there's still that tendency to idolize or despise.., that tendency still exists.., uh... I perhaps don't do either quite as strongly now.., or feel either, I should say... But...uh... there still is that feeling, that one is a king and the other is a piece of dirt. Well...I mean...uh.., as you very well know.., you know exactly the type of feltow that I go for, and.., uh... all others I just seem to have no use for."
Immediately after the first implanting, the patient stated: "I sound bitter and dissatisfied ; I sound as though I am reaching for something I can't have." A change in behavior took place follow- ing this first implanting. After reinforcement, a further change took pla~e, the patient saying that her boss whom she had hitherto found extremely attractive to her because of his ability and business drive was now no longer so;she did not think of him any more as being a tyeoon, and a love affair with him ter- minated. A third period of driving brought about no change at the time; but a week afterward the implant had most considerable consequences: She gave up, she sMd, the whole idea of a "king"; she had now fMlen in love with a man of her own age. Asked how
D. EWEN CAMERON~ 1Vf.D. 711
this came about, she said: "I simply made up my mind that since I can't get a 'king,' I would give myself a chance to like John. I don't put people on a pedestal like I used to.; I don't feel the same way I used to about the boss. I used to have a bitter grudge against my father for my troubles; now I see him as a weak person I don't admire."
By continued replaying of a cue communication, a persistent tendency to act in a way which can be predetermined in its general characteristics can be established. In other words~ by driving a cue communication, one can, without exception, set up in the patient a persisting tendency for that cue statement, and other
- Durability of Implant. The writer's experience has shown that the implant, if not reinforced, declines in its activity fairly rapidly after two weeks; although, on occasion, it can be found operative as long as two or three months after the first implant- ing. As indicated earlier in this paper, the intensity of the implant can actually be progressively increased by a suitable reinforce- ment at rates of once a week to once a month.
- Shift.ing At~itud,es Towa.rd Cu.e Comm~nication. The writer has frequently encountered the interesting phenomenon of the according of negative values to the pattern of behavior repre- sented in the cue communication: "I hate my whining voice"; or: "I don't have to please people all the time; I'm not like that any more." This imparting of negative values is particularly likely to occur either after repeated implanting or with the progress of psychotherapy in general. A working premise concerning it is that, since the patient comes more clearly to identify the neurotic components in the cue communication and to organize more efficient behavioral patterns, he tends to reject the neurotic patterns and to express negative feelings toward them.
- Mobilization of Action Tenc~e~c~es. An interesting question which arises is whether an implant can mobilize action tendencies laid down before the event embodied in the implant. Experience indicates that, while this does occur, it is much less usual than the mobilization of action tendencies laid down subsequent to the implant and derived from the basic situation outlined in the cue communication used in implanting.
712 PSYCI-IIC DRIVING
components of the "community of action tendencies" from which it was drawn, to return to his awareness.
(5) The major continuing effects of the dynamic implant are: (a) progressive problem identification; (b) resulting reorganiza- tion of behavioral patterns; (c) negative evaluation of the neu- rotic patterns present in the cue communication used in driving.
- The dynamic implant thus established, and especially if re- inforced by repeated driving, tends to activate more and more of the components of the relevant community of action tend- encies. These components tend to appear in the patient's aware- heSS.
- This materia]]y contributes to problem identification by the patient and the therapist, and, hence, facilitates the processes of therapeutic reorganization.
- The dynamic qualities of the implant are functions of: (a) the amount and repetition of driving; (b) the intensity of the response; (c) defenses; (d) stress tolerance; (e) capacity for desensitization.

“Seeing is Believing & Believing is Seeing” submitted by Contactunderground to HighStrangeness [link] [comments] The Consciousness Connection and the Virtual Experience Model Joseph Burkes MD 2019 edited 2023 A similar chopper, but with a bizarre paint job, buzzed me on the 405 Freeway/ INTRODUCTION This article is based on my chapter in Volume 2 of the 2022 book “A Greater Reality.” This compendium published and edited by Rey Hernandez can now be viewed without charge on the CCRI, Consciousness and Contact Research Institute’s web site, links provided at the end of this narrative. A familiar statement by members of the public is, “I’ll believe in flying saucers when I see one.” As the saying goes, “Seeing is believing.” During my many years of contact activism, I have learned that “believing” can also lead to “seeing.” The aim of this report is to describe two important features of the contact experience. The first concerns how UAP intelligences shape encounters depending on the existing beliefs and expectations of contact experiencers. The second theme is that intelligences responsible for flying saucers employ what from a physicalist perspective is “illusion” as a mechanism of contact. I present a case in which both mechanisms were likely employed. Readers of this blog please note the following: This narrative was originally conceived when I was writing about UFOs from within what can be called a “physicalist” or philosophical materialist’s perspective. This paradigm makes the metaphysical assumption that mass/energy is the wellspring of creation, and that mind/consciousness is merely a product of brain activity. More recently with the assistance of my friend and publisher Rey Hernandez, I have increasingly viewed this physicalist assumption as flawed. If Consciousness is primary, not mass/energy then the psi mediated mechanisms of contact might be viewed as being closer to the wellspring of creation (and therefore perhaps more “real”) than the construct of our senses that we call “physical reality.” My changing metaphysical views have been propelled in part by the “simulation hypothesis” that has gained some popularity within professional scientific circles. My growing acceptance of Consciousness being primary, and that the physical world is an illusion therefore compels me to view technologically based psi technology as creating “illusions” within the physical realm that could very well be an illusory simulated reality as well. In Eastern mystical traditions, the illusory nature of the physical world is called “Maya.” THE CONSCIOUSNESS CONNECTION It has been said that UAP intelligences are able to access experiencers’ consciousness as readily as you and I access light by turning on a wall switch. Among contact experiencers it is common knowledge that the so-called “aliens” are totally telepathic. In my opinion, such awesome power also allows them to readily access our entire storehouse of memories. This capability, when combined with their ability to create psi mediated “illusions”, enables them to co-create with us any kind of encounter that you and they can “co-imagine.” THE PHENOMENON IS “REFLECTIVE”: THE RADICAL CONCEPTS INTRODUCED BY JOHN KEEL John Keel,(1930- 2008) was a legendary UFO and paranormal researcher and author. He published over a dozen books. These include the “The Mothman Prophecies” (1975), that was made into a successful film starring Richard Gere. In 1966, Keel entered into an intense investigation of the flying saucer phenomenon. As part of this study, he read thousands of local newspaper articles on UFO sightings provided by clipping services. He travelled across the United States interviewing hundreds of witnesses. Keel coined the term MIB (Men In Black). In 1967, after just one year of his intense field investigations, he abandoned the extraterrestrial hypothesis. He did so because of, “an astonishing overlap between psychic phenomena and UFOs...” Famous investigators like Dr. J. Allen Hynek and Dr. Jacques Vallee eventually came to similar conclusions. John Keel was one of ufology’s most controversial writers and his work still influences current debates about the nature of the flying saucer phenomenon. Keel, in his classic book, “The Mothman Prophecies” discusses how flying saucer intelligence manipulated his own investigations in ways that reinforced his beliefs about what was going on. On page 111 he states, “I was being led to people and cases to support whatever theory I was working on at the time. I tested this by inventing some rather outlandish ideas. Within days I would receive phone calls, reports, and mail describing elements of those ideas. This was the feedback or reflective effect. Other investigators concerned with solving problems such as how flying saucers are propelled have automatically been fed, or led into, cases in which the witnesses supposedly viewed the interiors of the objects and saw things which confirmed the investigators' theories. If the phenomenon can produce any effect through hallucination, it can easily support any theory.” As a physician I prefer the term illusion rather than “hallucination” to describe the mechanisms involved in Close Encounters. Hallucinations, from the medical point of view, are manifestation of disease states and should not be applied to encounters with non-human intelligences in which the witnesses are generally not ill. According to my analysis, psi-mediated technologically induced illusions are being presented to human subjects. This noted, I cannot over emphasize the importance of Keel’s above quote from “The Mothman Prophecies.” In addition, it is important to note that the reflective nature of the contact experience exists on both a societal as well as an individual level. Researchers John Keel, Dr. Jacques Vallee and others have aptly observed that the appearance of the UAPs reflect the cultural expectations of each historic period in which they have manifested. Thus, to the ancient Chinese, they appeared as “dragons.” During the 1890s airship wave in the USA, they took on the appearance of Zeppelins that would be built a few years later. For the last sixty years, as we have gotten out into space, they are now thought of as “extraterrestrial.” The following narrative is an example of an encounter that is both “illusory” as well as reflective of one’s own beliefs about what the phenomenon is “supposed to be.” Mystery Helicopters in the Sepulveda Pass During the mid 1990s, I was a Working Group Coordinator in Los Angeles for the CE-5 Initiative. This involved staging what I now call Human Initiated Contact Events (HICE). My contact team regularly travelled to remote locations in the high desert. There we used consciousness techniques such as meditation and thought projection to stage limited interactions with UAPs. To our surprise UFOs appeared not only during our fieldwork but also during everyday types of activities. These multiple data points helped me understand the psychic mechanisms used to engineer Close Encounters. During the five years that I was a contact team leader, my sightings occurred, not only during fieldwork, but also in my West Los Angeles neighborhood. Some of the sightings demonstrated a flat two-dimensional quality. This made me suspect that they were not physical objects at all. Instead they appeared to be visual displays that were being produced by some kind of holographic technology. As the result of these encounters, I developed a new model incorporating the role of illusion as a mechanism of contact. I call this theory, The Virtual Experience Model. The Virtual Experience Hypothesis Virtual Experiences of the First Kind (VE-1) are illusory visual displays of structured objects or “alien” beings that typically convince witnesses that they are physical “craft” or “extraterrestrials” beings respectively. Other categories include the psychic creation of a kind of virtual reality that produces a full sensory illusion that is convincingly real to the human subject. I designate this type as a VE-2. The final major category is Virtual Experience of the Third Kind (VE-3). In this setting, artificial memories are implanted into the consciousness of the contact experiencer. Although the witness recalls seeing a non-human being or remembers going on-board an ET craft, according to this scenario no such event has actually transpired. The false memory does the job of convincing the witness that was happened was “real”, i.e., a physical event. A HIGH LEVEL CONTACTEE JOINS THE TEAM One member of our HICE/CE5 Los Angeles group was a high level contactee from the former Soviet Union. I refer to him as “Misha Goldman”, a pseudonym. He worked as an EKG tech in the Kaiser Hospital where I was employed. He was what you might describe as a “human UFO magnet.” As soon as he joined the group our level of contact, as measured by the appearances of UAPs, increased dramatically. I deemed it highly likely that he had direct telepathic communications with what contactees might call “friends in high places.” Living just a few miles from Hollywood, “the entertainment capital of the world,” I thought that perhaps Misha’s boost to our contact efforts was analogous to how Hollywood describes climbing the ladder of success. “It’s not what you know, but who you know” that facilitates getting the next job as an actor, director or producer. MISHA’S PROBLEMATIC SIGHTING OF A FLYING SAUCER & MYSTERY HELICOPTERS IN THE SEPULVEDA PASS One Tuesday morning during Easter Week in 1994, Misha called me at home to describe a sighting that he had the previous evening. While driving on the 101 Freeway in the San Fernando Valley he reportedly saw a typical disc shaped UAP flying overhead. It was about 1000 feet up and approximately thirty feet across. Misha was not the only member of the team that was having sightings while driving, but what made this sighting highly unusual was that this saucer according to Misha was being chased by several military helicopters. Based on my growing suspicion that some UFO sightings are illusory in nature, I told Misha that there were features of his sighting that were problematic. It is important to point out that the San Fernando Valley had a population in 1994 of about one million people. In addition, there are no major US military facilities located nearby. I told him that his assessment that the military helicopters were chasing an “alien craft” didn’t make much sense. The flight characteristics of some UAPs include their ability to fly circles around top performance military aircraft. Slow moving helicopters in pursuit mode would never be able to keep up with a “real flying saucer.” So, then what was going on? Reverse Engineered Craft was not a likely Explanation I suggested to Misha another possibility. What if the flying disc were a top-secret prototype military device? Then, perhaps the helicopters were escorting it rather than chasing it. This notion was reminiscent of the famous Cash-Landrum Incident in which supposedly a reverse engineered radioactive craft accompanied by US military helicopters injured several witnesses on the ground. However, there was a problem with this possible explanation. The densely populated San Fernando Valley was the least likely place for the authorities to test such a craft. Just imagine the uproar with thousands of witnesses if the saucer had to stage an emergency landing in a community of a million people. Prized government/corporate assets were better kept secure, way out in the desert where they might be secretly developed, and test flown. I told Misha that the entire sighting might have been a kind of “theater of the mind production.” (This conversation occurred years before I coined the term Virtual Experience describing the role of illusion as a mechanism of contact.) Instead, I told Misha that the disc he had seen over the 101 might be the product of some kind of advanced alien “mind control” technology. “Helicopters” vs Bizarre Visual Displays After making this sweeping speculative analysis of Misha’s encounter on the phone, and feeling quite proud of myself at that, I said good-bye to my contact team buddy. I set off to work, driving on the 405 Freeway. I didn’t want to be late for the noon doctors’ meeting. Back in 1994 my department was still offering fresh donuts at conference and I didn’t want to miss my share. So, there I was, driving through a sea of cars, on what seemed like a normal Tuesday afternoon. Or was it? As I reached the middle portion of the Sepulveda Pass, I noticed something a bit strange. Above the eastern rim of the canyon, I saw two military helicopters. This in and of itself was strange. There are no major military bases located near the City of Los Angeles. What was even more bizarre was that both choppers were vintage aircraft. One was an old Sikorsky, the kind first used in the Korean War. I recognized its typical large rounded nose with the cockpit located high up above the main cabin. The other was a Huey, a Bell UH 205, the standard workhorse helicopter of the Vietnam War. I was immediately struck by the wild colors on both craft. The Sikorsky, instead of the standard military dark green was a brilliant candy color green. It looked like something out of a circus. The Huey appeared a bit more respectable. It was painted a darker olive color, but the bright green circle surrounded the US star insignia on the side of the craft just didn’t look right. Both helicopters were slowly moving back and forth above the over the canyon. They appeared to be no more than 200 feet above the rim. This was several hundred feet below the minimum altitude required by government regulations when flying over densely populated areas. A Coincidence or an Example of what John Keel Would call the “Reflective Factor.” I thought to myself, “This is very strange.” I have a conversation with Misha about his sighting possibly being a simulated visual display and then I am witness to craft that were fit for a carnival. I had specifically mentioned to Misha the notion that helicopters might be used as props in his sighting. Now I was witness to not one, but two bizarre “identified flying objects.” Was this just an amazing coincidence, or was I being given a rather theatrical visual display similar to Misha’s? The sequence of events in retrospect suggests that the “reflective” aspect of UFO intelligence as described by John Keel was in effect. I had formulated a “belief” that the craft and helicopters from the previous night were illusory in nature, and as if to confirm my “pet theory” bizarre helicopters were flying overhead. Things got even stranger however. I wondered if Misha’s sighting was a kind of a test as to whether I would choose to attempt to interact with UFO intelligence. On the chance that the choppers were psi mediated visual displays and not “physically real” and were produced by a telepathic non-human intelligence that might be able to communicate with me, I decided to “send out” a mental message of welcome. This, after all, was part of the contact protocols that I was employing during fieldwork. As my vehicle approached the top of the Sepulveda Pass, I was doing about 55 miles per hour. I watched the helicopters located now above me and to the right. They were still moving back and forth perpendicular to the freeway. Human Initiated Contact Event: Was a Consciousness Connection Evident? Not actually expecting a response from the craft overhead, I sent out a mental message of welcome. My 1983 Toyota Camry reached the crest of the Sepulveda Pass. The San Fernando Valley stretched out before me. As always, I took pleasure in the spectacular panoramic view. I accelerated as I headed down the hill into the Valley. To my surprise, I noticed that the Huey had broken away from the Sikorsky. It was headed my way! Just another coincidence? The Huey was now above my vehicle, and I noticed that it was descending rapidly. It kept pace with me, flying just a few dozen yards out front. I had a perfect view of its underbelly through my windshield. The chopper leveled out at less than 100 feet above the roadway. I could hear the chopper’s engines, but they seemed quite muffled. The roar should have been deafening, but it wasn’t. My heart pounding, I continued to silently chant welcoming thoughts. For about one mile, we traveled together. As we passed the Sepulveda Basin Dam, the Huey moved off to the west. I looked towards the walls of the reservoir, (a favorite “shoot site” for film crews.) The large concrete plaza in front the dam was totally deserted. Apparently, the choppers were not part of a Hollywood action movie being filmed on the spillway of the reservoir. After the medical conference, I worked an evening shift in the ER. I then called Misha and told him about the helicopters in the Sepulveda Pass. Was the appearance of the helicopters an example of the “reflective aspect” as described by John Keel? Did I really have a contact experience while driving through the Sepulveda Pass? I suppose skeptics would reject any positive interpretation of the events as nothing more than “UFO fan club wishful thinking.” Coincidence might explain all. I should point out however that prior to this experience, I had never been buzzed by a helicopter while driving, never before and never since for that matter. It all might have occurred by chance. But I don’t think so! Addendum: A much expanded, footnoted version of this article appears in the anthology “A Greater Reality” edited by Reinerio Hernandez. “Seeing is Believing & Believing is Seeing” submitted by Contactunderground to Experiencers [link] [comments] The Consciousness Connection and the Virtual Experience Model Joseph Burkes MD 2019 edited 2023 INTRODUCTION This article is based on my chapter in Volume 2 of the 2022 book “A Greater Reality.” This compendium published and edited by Rey Hernandez can now be viewed without charge on the CCRI, Consciousness and Contact Research Institute’s web site, links provided at the end of this narrative. For the last sixty years, as we have gotten out into space, they are now thought of as “extraterrestrial.” The following narrative is an example of an encounter that is both “illusory” as well as reflective of one’s own beliefs about what the phenomenon is “supposed to be.” A similar chopper, but with a bizarre paint job buzzed me on the 405 Freeway Mystery Helicopters in the Sepulveda Pass During the mid 1990s, I was a Working Group Coordinator in Los Angeles for the CE-5 Initiative. “Seeing is Believing & Believing is Seeing” submitted by Contactunderground to CE5 [link] [comments] The Consciousness Connection and the Virtual Experience Model Joseph Burkes MD 2019 edited 2023 A similar chopper, but with a bizarre paint job, buzzed me on the 405 Freeway IINTRODUCTION This article is based on my chapter in Volume 2 of the 2022 book “A Greater Reality.” This compendium published and edited by Rey Hernandez can now be viewed without charge on the CCRI, Consciousness and Contact Research Institute’s web site, links provided at the end of this narrative. “Seeing is Believing & Believing is Seeing” submitted by Contactunderground to aliens [link] [comments] The Consciousness Connection and the Virtual Experience Model Joseph Burkes MD 2019 edited 2023 A similar chopper, but with a bizarre paint job buzzed me on the 405 Freeway . INTRODUCTION This article is based on my chapter in Volume 2 of the 2022 book “A Greater Reality.” This compendium published and edited by Rey Hernandez can now be viewed without charge on the CCRI, Consciousness and Contact Research Institute’s web site, links provided at the end of this narrative. 2024.05.18 00:00 Kalell900 How I Made An Agreement with Grey Aliens to "Discover My Soul."
Hi everyone. I know - a sensational and unbelievable title. Yet it happened. submitted by Kalell900 to Experiencers [link] [comments] If you doubt this account in any way please review this post to see that I have passed a lie detector test, and have videos of UAPs, as well as corroborative evidence. What you will read below is a continuation of the last post I made. You could say that is part 1, and this below is part 2. To put below into context, I had several childhood contact events and this is the first time seeing them in ten years, but if below is confusing please see the previous post Below;
Inside the Ship I then found myself standing in a small hanger, with a tan, curved wall, roughly 60 feet long. There were five, small, shiny-silver, pod-like crafts on tripods, tightly packed together, on my left. Five Beings stood in front of me, with one standing out in shape from the other four. It was about four feet tall, with a large head that formed an elongated cone on the back, and wearing tight-fitting tan coveralls with a light red band down the middle of the suit and down the arms. I presumed this was the one who had approached me. The other four were smaller, roughly three and half feet tall, with large cranium heads but without the cone shape, dressed in tight pale green-grey coveralls. All were hairless, had slits for mouths, flat noses, and black, reflective, down angled eyes. The taller Being greeted me with, "Hi Jeff," emphasizing that it knew who I was and that I had a history with them. I was apprehensive as I tried to grasp what was going on, not just in my present circumstances, but also inside myself with my feelings and memories. They were trying to make me feel comfortable. I heard "Welcome. Thanks for coming with us, you won't regret it. We've come to help you at this time." The feeling was of incredible friendliness and kindness, but it didn't make sense to me when this Being said it was here to help me at this time. It talked like it knew me! An incredibly awful drawing and I couldn't figure out how to shrink it, but it was roughly what I was witnessing. The main Grey alien I dealt with. They invited me to accompany them, abruptly turning around and walking away and as I followed, I noticed they were slim, having soft insect-like arms and legs. In my memory the entire place had an indescribable vibe: alien, advanced consciousness, and advanced technology. The entire craft felt alive. We walked into a bright hallway and then turned left through an arched doorway. I briefly reflected to myself - That was easy. I prayed to be abducted and then it happened (in the previous post I prayed to be abducted). The inside of the ship. The Agreement We entered a clean room with two curved desks molded to the floor, placed at right angles to each other, and behind one of the desks was a large black screen and a single office-like chair made for someone their size. I was confused as the Being with the elongated cone clearly wanted to show me something, pointing for me to come to the wall where there was a computer panel, while the four smaller beings gathered behind us. It touched a button and I saw a holographic projection of abstract images protrude out from the panel. It said in my head, "This is the reason why you are here." I distinctly felt that this being had a female presence, that it was a woman. I would later feel clearly that it was an elder, stateswoman-like, a chief, or a Being with power, and refer to her from this point on as "the Elder." I was amazed by this hologram as I had never seen anything like it before. The hologram displayed a row of images: a blue cuboid (three-dimensional rectangle), a red cuboid, a white comet, and a white dot. She emphasized their importance, "This is what we are here to help you with. This is your future outline of things to come." I was highly uncomfortable with the way she was speaking in my head, was on edge, and didn't trust them. They moved in a strange, controlled manner, emphasized with their insect-like physique, which I found off-putting. When she said she knew my future, I didn't believe her. Who can see the future? (Also, why the hell was it so immediately personal? Something you don’t expect from an event like this). I turned around and saw the smaller beings behind me, and they freaked me out leaving me feeling terrified and trapped on an alien ship. I said out loud, "I want to go." She reached her arm out compassionately, telling me it was ok. She moved her head with an intent to focus on her eyes, like she was pushing their energy out to grab my attention. When I did, it calmed me down as I actually felt I could connect with this Being behind the strange and frightening look. She said, "We will not harm you, there is nothing to be scared of. I assure you we are friendly." I could feel her sincerity and truthfulness when I focused on her eyes. Feeling scared, but also curious, I decided to be brave and trust her, asking her what these holograms were, though I still couldn't believe that they could see my future. She said, "It is your destiny to leave the place you're growing up in, and a future life will occur somewhere else." I stared into her eyes trying to understand the communication. (By the way, believe it or not, these words like destiny and soul are her words. They weren’t in my vocabulary at the time.) She continued, “These are your time periods we would like to work with you in. We are interested in here, here, and here,” referring to the first three holographic images of the four. Me and the Elder at the holographic timeline. Rough sketch of the holographic timeline. She pointed to the blue cuboid and said, "This is where we help you." As a hologram, it was represented as roughly six inches of blue coloured data and strands of light, which I simply could not understand. She then pointed at the red cuboid, represented as a hologram of red coloured data and strands of light, and said, "Then we will help you leave your home, and we would like to watch you as you grow. You will be free from your societal ideas to create what we provide for you." Ultimately, the legend of the majority of the contact events based on the holographic timeline. Obviously, in the moment I didn't understand this, but I'll eventually learn that each cuboid represented three years. Leave my home? As a sixteen-year-old teenager these ideas were far off from my mind. She didn't explain the last two holograms; one a comet-type image with a long tail that fanned out, and the other a single star-like dot. I was so perplexed at these images of my timeline as they had no meaning to me, yet all I understood was something in my future seemed important to them. She said, "This is your destiny that we will help make happen together. While we help you, you will help us by allowing us to watch you as you grow. What else would you like to know?" Considering this to be real I asked how she would make me leave. She explained, "You will discover your soul which will propel you to leave. We will help you create an identity that you will use to do this." As a teenager I believed in a soul but had no comprehension of what it was, yet, at the same time she spoke telepathically, I could "feel" her and was finding her sincere and kind. I asked, "Why me?" "We find this to be an opportunity to grow one of our own," she said as she opened a childhood memory of an event that occurred behind my friend's house when I was five or six years old (here is that contact event). This event was not in my mind before this night, but I could feel it did occur. In this memory one of these Beings showed me an image in my child-mind of my mother on a table, conscious and smiling. She was pregnant with me and was being injected with a giant needle going into her womb, thus indicating I had something of these Beings put into me when I was a fetus. As I calmed down, I began to realize the extent that they had been hiding in the background of my childhood, which was why there was a familiarity with this Being. (The legend for all the childhood contact events are in the last post) She continued, "We want to help one of our own. We have been watching you and we like you. Your personality and characteristics match what we are looking for, with what we want to accomplish." Her words "characteristics" touched recent thoughts I had been having, like she had done it on purpose. As I mentioned previously, I was diagnosed with an auditory processing learning disability as a child, which meant I had to learn how to manage an extra energy in my psyche. As I was growing up, I realized when I applied this extra energy to my creative endeavors, I excelled at them. Yet at this time, at the age of sixteen, possibly weeks or days before this contact event, I was asking what was the existential purpose of this other part of me. So, when she said 'characteristics' it was as if she purposely connected my recent thoughts questioning this other part of me. I can tell you now that "finding my soul" would be helped by this latent tendency in my make-up, which was one of the "characteristics" the Elder was referring to. As I stood there, with the Elder, the reality dawned on me that something was within me, and that this seemed right. Putting the pieces together, my mind raced with telling people, friends, and family, of this incredible experience. She said, "If you agree to work together, you won't remember our experiences." It caught me off guard that she seemed to respond to my thoughts. "You will only remember these events when we meet with you. It will be in secret; this will benefit both of us. Do you agree to work together?" In essence these beings saw an opportunity for an exchange. They would help me with a transition they saw in my future if I agreed to be part of an experiment where they helped me discover my soul, which they would use to study and analyze me. I had no comprehension of what they were truly asking of me, yet I could now see childhood memories of these beings, and in them I was never hurt. I felt special that they had been hiding in the background of my life without my "everyday" awareness, and so rationalized, with such ability, they were in charge anyway. I was aware right away that this was beyond getting permission from my parents or getting permission from anyone. This seemed so big, and I was already a part of it without even knowing. I was on edge from the strangeness of all of this, but I wanted to see where it went. I said "Ok, I want to work with you." By opening to her, I felt her warm presence, like she was patting me on the back in psychic form. She further explained the agreement, "Our exchange won't be for nothing. What we will give you we will provide you now, then we will slowly open you to it over time. We have been working on this plan for some time and we know you won't regret it. Our work with you will benefit our understanding of humankind." I asked, "Is there anything I should do?" She said, "Keep your heart and mind open to learn new things." I asked, "Can you tell me who you are?" She said, "We are humanity's agents of change." She then showed me a giant cog on this holographic device. Throughout my contact events, the Beings would use symbols and imagery by use of consciousness holograms, demonstrating their understanding of the impact on the human subconscious. When I stared at them, they connected on a deeper level in my being, giving me subconscious information which I can interpret through feeling. The best analogy for these holograms are computer avatars or programs that are read by my soul. Presently, this giant cog hologram reminds me of the Mayan calendar. I don't know if it was this or not, as I didn't see Mayan imagery, but I could feel it meant that a new era, or age has come upon humanity. In the depth of the image, I could feel that humans are in a stage of evolution that was spiritual in nature, and that at the center of this change was our collective planetary identity as human beings. She continued, "You will play a part in helping us understand humans as they move into an evolution of the soul. You will also benefit by evolving your soul. Your evolution will also take place." (here is a Humanities Agents of Change short I made of this interaction) I distinctly felt from her words, combined with the hologram, that I would be a part of something larger, one of millions of humans with a similar mission to help evolve humanity. She then projected an image into my mind, another form of communication I would continue to experience in my contact events, in which a detailed image is projected that I can see in my mind's eye, containing rich feelings that I can interpret. She projected an image of the planet Earth, with images of an ape and a human silhouetted over top. I interpreted this to mean that the scale of evolution which is about to occur is comparable to ape to human, just not biological. We began leaving the room when she turned to me and locked eyes. She said, "We are birthing a new idea, a concept never before spoken of between our species and yours. No one will know about this, and it will only be effective when it's blocked from your mind. So, we will be blocking it, and we want you to help us with that. We want you to never look at this. If you have any questions about it, turn your mind away from it. Take care of it, we must protect it for it to work properly." I sensed the urgency of protection that the "other me" couldn't know and agreed. When we left this room, I was filled with purpose, determination, and respect for the protection of our agreement (in 2016 they will “release” this command which is how you are reading this now). Here is a video of this contact event. In the next post I’ll describe what happened to me during the rest of this experience. Reflection and Corroboration The Grey Alien Entourage So it was months after these memories came out that I put together that the aliens, when introducing themselves to a human, can have an entourage - the main alien surrounded by, or leading, several smaller ones. Such as in the case of Betty Andreasson. https://preview.redd.it/p0s666c2021d1.jpg?width=1197&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=346dea86e9ac986aa2060bc94c1cebf742851c77 It was while researching on a public abduction research website, that seems to have been taken down as I don’t remember the name, but it was there someone was describing it as the Grey Alien Entourage, with the taller alien surrounded by the smaller aliens, and I realized they did that with me. It stood out because it happened only once during my entire time with them. It seems like it is a societal custom of theirs, a welcoming party if you will. Looking Into Their Eyes When the memories came out, I was unaware in reported communication with the Beings one has to gaze into their eyes. They seem to psychically envelope the human. It wasn’t until I read Suzy Hansen’s book the Dual Soul Connection did I understand how normal or common that was. I later read further in Dr. Jacobs book The Threat (1997) that the theory is the Beings are sending information through the human optic nerve into the brain which transmits feelings and detailed imagery. I would concur that I believe this is occurring. But its important to note that I also have experienced telepathy in contact events where I am not engaged in their eyes, such as while conducting a task on craft yet the Being is still telepathically communicating. But I do add that in those cases, there were no detailed feeling or imagery. But it does seem consistent that you need to look into their eyes to communicate fully with these Beings. Humans Having Grey Alien DNA Throughout my contact events I have distinct moments I felt bonded to the Beings genetically. There is such a thing as genetic intuition as there are plenty of human cases that demonstrate this, such as mothers feeling their children pass away, or twins separated at birth having similar mannerisms and behaviours. I had this with the entities. Having Grey alien DNA isn’t an idea to make myself feel special, it’s a fact that I’m bonded to them in my genetics. I can feel it. And I now know other contactees have this experience also. The fact that this is possible is coming to light. In this video I combine John Rameriz statements with the EBO geneticist against my own experience with the entities, that humans and aliens have a similar DNA structure allowing a merging of DNA. Neurodivergence When the memories came out, I knew my learning disability played apart in this experiment to "discover my soul," and was connected to me having their DNA. This was just my private experience and was already publicly talking about it when I heard Mary Rodwell at this talk had found in her research of childhood contactees that those describing themselves as having alien DNA were largely neurodivergent. She draws on fascinating research that describes how this could happen. That neurodivergence largely originates from the "dark" DNA part of our chromosome, which influences our thoughts and behaviors. The "dark" DNA is complex, still not fully understood, and is filled with switches, and the idea that aliens are putting some part of themselves into this part of humans is intriguing. The fact that there is a connection here with my own account is what stunned me. Aliens that Make Agreements It was here on Reddit that I discovered this John Keele document. I know most people brush this off, but for me I can check off a bunch of these points, and some I heard directly from the Beings. And the fact that it comes from 1967 is huge. That would be an incredible gamble on Keele's behalf to guess that some of these are actually accurate all these years later. They told me “We told them the plan along time ago," as in some government. From my perspective it appears as the legit plan, yet this document appears distorted from a protective military stand point of self preservation, and doesn't bring up the fact that human destruction of the planet is the main issue for their intervention, nor that they seeded us. The point is, point 15 of said document. 15. The majority of all "contactees" run in terror to the authorities who never believe put them down as "nuts" and don't even keep records of their complaints). Most of the others commit suicide or go insane. A very small minority remain in contact for months or even years. Often these "contactees" eventually volunteer for a "trip". Some of these "trips" are of short duration... one month or SO. Before taking a "trip", the contactees are often required to a very legal form offering their minds and bodies for experimental purposes. Grey aliens definitely make agreements with individuals to do experiments. That’s exactly what you read above - an agreement for a consciousness experiment. It will be in my 7th contact event where I will be shown they make agreement between planets, and it constitutes something like a Federation of Planets. A quote from my book: “Also, it was clear that these Beings literally write out their agreements like lawyers or law makers would on our planet.” Humanities Agents of Change This is right in line with the EBO scientist. The author of the document added his reflections and interpretations as an appendix. He specified that, for them, the soul field is not a belief but an obvious truth. He also argues that the soul loses its individuality after death, but that memory and experience persist as part of the field. This fact would influence the philosophy and culture of EBOs, resulting in a society that doesn't fear death but which places no importance or reverence on individuality. This "belief" compels them to seed life, shape it, nurture it, monitor it and influence it for the ultimate purpose of creating this apotheosis. This is what they did with me, created an apotheosis - ie. God realisation. This is in line with the Free Research findings that looked at thousands of contactees and found they experienced spiritual growth from their contact. The Grey aliens are involved with evolving human consciousness without a doubt. For those who made it to the end I will definitely describe what they do in future posts. But in case your wondering what I learn about the human soul. I learn it is all about God. God is real. You are God. And I think people should go to Vedic to understand it. Fundamentally, these Sages and Gurus of India got Consciousness right, and there are plenty of cross overs with my experience on craft. Thanks for reading. |
