A fun as hell burn-bleed team for MDs
A thought occured in my head, "Wound Clerid works for Wrath instead of Lust for some reason, and Fiery Down works with Lust instead of Wrath, weird" and from that, this team was born.
First, the team comp:

Now, the purpose of each unit, in order of deployment:
  1. Ring Yi Sang - Has lust S2, generally good
  2. Nclair - Inherently bleed-burn, wrath S3
  3. Ring Outis - The best bleed unit in the game, lust S1. Der Outis isn't as effective in not pure burn.
  4. Liu Ishmael - Wrath S2, solid burn count, especially if you find fiery down. Captain ish doesn't have lust so she won't inflict much burn(unless she kills someone but that's rare)
  5. Liu Rodion - Wrath S2. Applies a lot of burn count.
  6. Hook Hong Lu - Lust S2. I took him over Liu Ryoshu since her S2 has only 2 coins.
Main support is NFaust in case Nclair doesn't behave, and KK Gregor which is basically -1 clash power on bosses.
The team isn't really complicated. Focus on wrath skills with burn units, and lust skills with bleed units. From floor 3 onward pick Nclair as number 1. The complicated part is all the EGO gifts that can possibly benefit from wrath/lust. I'll list them below.
Our MVPs:
Wound Clerid - Triggers on wrath/bleed hit. Choose bleed as your starter pack and pick wound clerid + wolf. Awe can be good but only works on bleed skills, and you wouldn't want Nclair sitting in 4th place on later floors.
Fiery Down - Triggers on lust/burn hit. It's not as good as wound clerid, but you don't need to upgrade it unless you want to. Burn quickly ramps up after 20 which is good for bosses and glimpse of flames.
EGO gifts that trigger on wrath/lust resonance:
Hellterfly - Triggers on burn hit/wrath res, spreads burn. The hit itself doesn't work on bleed units, but on wrath res you get 8 burn every turn which is nice.
Employee Card - Triggers on wrath res, adds charge. Only good if you have wrist guards, in which case it's free +30% damage basically forever. All other charge gifts are either very hard to get or only good against bosses.
Barbed Snare - Triggers on lust a-res, applies 12 worth of rupture damage on all enemies, 32 if you fully upgrade it. Also works well with that revolver that makes ruptured enemies clash less. Getting a-res is an opportunity cost though.
Thorny Path - Triggers on lust res, applies 6-9 worth of sinking damage on all enemies. Isn't worth it unless you got some sinking support gifts like melted spring.
Other notable EGO gifts that work with lust/wrath:
Bloody gadget - instead of normal +20% damage, it adds +40% to lust skills. It'll prioritize Yi Sang and Nclair the most, the nuke potential is amazing.
Coffee and cranes - If a lust skill was used, basically gives you 1 of every sin resource every turn. Not to be underestimated, especially in this team where you prioritize only 2 sins.
Eclipse of scarlet moths - usually it just deals half your first skill's damage to a random enemy. If a lust skill was used, it deals it to TWO enemies. It's amazing, you just need to make the first ever skill in your chain a lust skill.
Rusted cutting knife - thunderbranch for bleed, but technically a lot worse than wound clerid. If a lust skill was used, it gives 2 count instead of one, which is nice, but not something you want to go for.
Blood-red mane - you mostly acquire it through Faith & Erosion events. It applies to wrath/lust IDs and basically gives them +2 clash power when they lose a clash. Not really neccessary but you might as well go for the pack if it's available.
Gossypium - hear me out. I know how yall hate this, but it's a lot better now that it's for bleed. After un-staggering enemies they get 18 bleed, -6 clash power and +52% incoming damage. Sure, it's not as good as stagger bonus damage, but you'd much rather want your enemies to bleed, and since they clash for low, you're guaranteed to win those. Just make sure to upgrade it as soon as you can, at least once, since at level 1 it's only -2 clash power.
That's all, I should say it's extremely good in MDs, bleed is amazing as is, but struggles at clashing, and burn mitigates it by having good clashes.
Some alterations if you want to experiment:
Hook Hong Lu vs Liu Hong Lu: If you want to run Ryoshu instead, you need to choose Ishmael as the second one instead of Yi Sang since Liu Hong Lu's passive targets the unit with the most SP. Additionally, since Don's passive now targets Ishmael, you'd want to switch her for either N Don or Middle Don. Both of them aren't great but oh well.
Ring Outis vs Der Outis: Der Outis has wrath S1, and her pride skills boost wolf EGO gift's damage boost/reduction. But she doesn't have a lot of coins so her damage is not that great.

Hi :) So I've been trying to track this game down for years! I used GPT to create an explanation as accurate as possible from all the details I remember, but he was unable to find the game I was looking for.. I must say 2 things:
1 - This was awful, do you like this stuff? I've done a part of a convergence in the past but without understanding nothing of what i was supposed to do or almost...stayed in the central platform most of the time and i simply... assumed i missed the good parts.
Now that i've done it since start i know there are no good parts...only decent mechanic is the dmg of boss attacks but ppl get constantly revived by the ress bot so it's literally 0 mechanics? I didn't even look if there is a timer on it. I hope Convergences CM are better or bb obsidian armor.
2 - Why every 3 hours :( ? And which hours! It's literally every moment in the day where i can't play or it's extremely unconvenient to do (managed this time by stealing time to work...because it's a chill day). Best timing for me would be 00:30 but i'm getting old and at that time i tend to be quite tired and sleepy...
Why it can't be every 2 hours? I know i can open one manually but it costs quite a lot.
Also, what's the best choice from the final coffer? there was a chest (all chests options without previews btw) that require something to open...it's the same stuff used to manually trigger convergence? Because that would suck

I recently began the Valedale Quests for collecting Light and spending them on the research tree found in Valedale. Unlocking all the paths for Whimsey, Terra, and Runology seemed impossibly difficult for how expensive they were, but I soon found this method of making a whole lot of light in no time.
Regarding the video, position yourself in RedLeaf Lanes, as shown from the spawn location of Valedale’s trailer. Next, stand underneath the large tree and restart your game to force it to update that area with rune carving puzzles, firefly’s, and leaf piles. By following the path taken by my rider, there are 18 spots (as I know of) for finding the puzzles, and upgrading these puzzles output of light as well as frequency of spawning will ensure that you can find multiple per game launch.
Repeating this process can be tedious, but it definitely offered more cash-flow in terms of light collecting than most anything else. Before I found this method, I was collecting fireflies, not able to find many puzzles at all, and struggling to understand how I might be able to unlock everything. Rest assured, if you do this, and spend all your light respectively on the runeology rune carving path, this is the best way to make light. I hope this helps any other riders!

Sorry for this weird title and stupid situation, but I really need some suggestion.
I (27F) met a guy (30M) in Reddit and we started talking it was normal conversation, then he wanted to play games of knowing about each other it was complete SFW and I liked it. He seemed to be caring and affectionate . Then he asked to play some SFW funny role plays and few days later he initiated with husband wife role plays , it was almost more than a week of continuous talking to him and I was comfortable. Then the role plays got intensified to NSFW and was more like sexting, everything was consensual.
This was my first time doing all this shit so I said I am feeling guilty and I asked to have normal conversation like earlier. Then he wanted to have an audio call with me , I declined that as well because I was scared. And then his behaviour went off, he started to reply lately. There was only two or three messages in a day and he used to always apologise for not able to talk due to work. But he used to play these NSFW roleplay once in a week and then go into his busy mode and apologise for not able to talk. This pattern went for 2 weeks and he didn’t text me for 2 days and again came back apologising that he was having app issue , and I called him out stating He doesn’t want to talk with me rather he is only here just to have role plays. And I asked him to find some other b*tch to play this shitty game. He didn’t respond after this.
To be honest, this is my first doing all this stupid sexting and role plays ,even this is my first time calling out someone. I was ghosted earlier too but I have never called out someone and this time I was very frustrated with his behaviour. I know I should not have expected so much from someone whom I had never met, but we had really good conversations with each other . He had listened to my non stop rants and had encouraged me too during my lows. I am feeling guilty now.
My mental health is so bad , I don’t even know if I did right by calling him out or not. And this guilt is making me feel bad . AITAH ? Should I apologise to him? Please suggest what should I do?

I've been eager to reach this point; when I can say that I have met my original goals when I started working with this firmware approx 2 weeks ago. Customizable controls, savegames, no memory limitations save for the cost in performance. A slew of other features I couldn't help but implement along the way too. v0.5 is now live on m5burner.

I've spent the time avoiding the user interface work I finally did yesterday, instead optimizing the rendering and memory subsystem to get more than twice the performance of my last announced release(v0.48). Super Mario Land 2 and Donkey Kong Land show more than a 100% improvement in frame rates (17fps -> 53fps in the overworld for super mario land 2)
The next steps planned:
Audio
Save States
Some more options; custom palette, performance related things
debug w/ Pokemon, figure out why it restarts the firmware
about information screen crediting Matteo Forlani for concept implementation; any one else who ends up contributing.
And in the would be nice category:
Wifi link-cable; I doubt it would get much use but the hooks for it all appear to be present in peanut_gb.
Custom borders (I wont sacrifice ram for this, but I could stream it from the sdcard, it is not redrawn during normal gameplay)
Any other ideas? If there are any pixel artist out there, there is room in the ROM for a cardputer themed border and I'm more than willing to entertain submissions in that area as well, with full credit of course going to the author(s).

* Reimplemented memory subsystem to use progressive partial page seeking/pruning; the original memory management code was the first I had typed in 14 years; after some thought I devised something much more suitable for a real time environment. This resulted in the average page seek time being much lower, and distributes maintenance of the paging system across successive calls. The results are the largest improvement to speed to date. Over double the frame rates from before; less stutter, smoother page transitions in memory. Donkey Kong Land averages around 45fps now; Super Mario land 2 gets an average 53fps on the overworld.

* Reduced rendering workload 6.25% by modifying peanut_gb to inherently skip lines that aren't visible due to scaling.
This prevents the engine from having to process the layer and sprite data for these lines all together. Why 6.25%? because 9 lines are skipped which is 6.25% of the lines that were rendered previously.

* Scrolling behaviour and screen content differences no longer effect rendering performance Titles such as final fantasy or even super mario land 2 show a huge improvement in overworld movement speed.

* Fixed bug in main menu causing selection to only move upward; you can now navigate properly again.

Because these are the same keys used for other visual modifications, I hope using the combination of Fn and these keys is intuitive.

12.06.2025 V0.47 Added first iteration of Super Gameboy Mode with all 32 official palettes that were included with the original hardware. Nintendo included a table on the device to map certain games to certain palettes, and that functionality is partially implemented. Mario 1/2/Wario Land, F1 Racer and Tetris all autodetect and assign their colour scheme. This mode can be toggled on and off at any time during play with the '[' button, and the current cycle palette button will cycle through the 32 included palettes. Games with defined profiles with start with that palette selected automatically when Super Gameboy Mode is engaged for the first time each session.
*Lots of user interface changes; message boxes will appear to describe your palette selections, among other things - no console style debug remains in normal operation.
*Another 4k of memory allocated to ROM storage, may smooth out some edge cases of stuttering.

10.05.2024:: 0.41 added savegame support. if a game uses it's onboard ram constantly though, use the manual backup button (=). The save feature will only automatically engage after the cartridge ram has been left untouched for a second.
08.05.2024: v0.4 forked from gb_cardputer, added memory management subsystem (paging) to manage random access to roms of any size the filesystem supports.
Yellow bars on either side of the display momentarily indicate that the cartridge ram has been backed up. The savegame format will not be changing, its a simple binary dump.
