  • Gracias a aprender Webflow comencé una nueva startup en 2018: tinyrockets.com (tu propio sistema para vivir mejor)
  • Gracias a esa startup conocí nuevos socios (Alberto Sadde y Luis de Pombo)
  • Gracias a Luis me mudé unos meses a San Francisco porque conseguimos inversión de Michael Seibel cuando era CEO de Y Combinator 🔥
  • Gracias a mudarme a San Francisco conocí en persona a los Fundadores y Core Members de Code for Venezuela: Marcos Ciarrocchi, Rafael Chacón, José Montes de Oca y a mi actual socio Alberto Sadde. C4V es una non-profit, donde donamos nuestro talento a ONGs en Venezuela
    • En la primera reunión con ellos, los convencí de migrar el site de la organización a Webflow (estaban en Squarespace)
  • Gracias a la inversión de Michael Seibel rentamos unos escritorios para trabajar en la nueva oficina de Graphite, una agencia de SEO que recién comenzaba con su dos founders: Ethan Smith y Marcos Ciarrocchi (el mismo de Code for Venezuela)
    • Gracias a trabajar en Graphite trabajé con las empresas de tecnología más importantes del mundo: Robinhood, Medium, MasterClass, Reforge, Netflix, BetterUp, Grove, PicStart, Shift, Swagbucks, entre otras.
    • Gracias a que ya había hecho todos los cursos de Webflow University y tenía experiencia con el site de tinyrockets.com le ofrecí a Graphite crear un equipo de Webflow, donde fui el primer Webflow Developer y luego lo comenzamos a usar con grandes clientes (esto fue en 2019, cuando aún Webflow no era masivamente conocido - me tocó dar muchas explicaciones porque todos estaban escépticos)
  • Gracias a que trabajé en Graphite e hice proyectos como freelancer, aprendí estrategias y tácticas de Growth usadas por las mejores empresas de Silicon Valley y con estos trabajos pude pagar las deudas que tenía ($20,000 USD que debía en préstamos a mis inversionistas de startups anteriores)

I live in Carson, we recently had a house on the block come up for rent and about 2 days after the PM company finished the renovations and listed the house for rental, some people showed up in the middle of the night and are squatting. me and my twin sister (16F) have a friend, let’s call her celine, also 16F, who we love to death. she’s our number one and basically only friend in our main (me and my sister and her) group. we’ve known her since elementary school but didn’t really get close till eighth grade. she’s our first choice if we get asked to bring a friend somewhere. we invited her to our sixteenth birthday at disneyland, and we’ve let her come over to our home multiple times. but honestly, she’s started to drive me and my sister fucking crazy and i don’t know what to do.
1) her relationships. it seems like she honestly can’t go a month without having a new boy to obsess over before she inevitably gets ghosted. and she is SO EASY. her most recent boy dmed her on instagram at 9pm and she proceeded to fall asleep on facetime with him at 12am the SAME DAY. want to think she gets ghosted because she’s SO clingy. (she sends screenshots of conversations to our group chat and it’s just her talking about herself or apologizing if the guy starts to text dry - ex: “are you mad at me” “i’m sorry [name]” “what did i do” “im sorry”)

and of course she is completely blind to how annoying this is, so we constantly have to reassure her she isn’t doing anything morally wrong rather she’s just being so fucking annoying that it’s hard to keep up with. and no matter if she gets ghosted, she will ALWAYS let them come back. i know how hard it is to let go but honestly can she not realize that enough is enough and she’s literally being treated like shit?? like who knows how these guys would have treated her had they actually worked out instead of ghosting her.

she also is like incapable of making friends by herself because she doesn’t talk to anyone, so the friends that me and my sister make (whom we approach during breaks or whatever) are also her friends.

1. her other best friend who attends a different school. let’s call her sammy. they met from playing soccer together a couple years ago. and although i’ve met her and hung out with her a couple times, i honestly can’t stand when she and her are together. like at homecoming this year, they completely ignored us for sammy’s boyfriend and celine’s boy at the time, and left me and my sister alone to be with our other friend. and once sammy and her boyfriend were hanging out alone is when celine finally decided to hang with me and my sister instead. additionally, she didn’t even bother to mention her sixteenth birthday dinner to me and my sister. i casually asked if she was going to do anything and she said she was just going to dinner. but the night of her birthday, she went out with sammy and then we had to hear about it even though she just talked about what she and sammy did that night. lastly, she brings sammy EVERYWHERE. they’ve gone to multiple vacations together, from las vegas to arizona, which we also have to hear about every single time. honestly i’d be fine with it if she just told the truth, maybe say that there isn’t enough space to bring both me and my sister, but she just lies and makes us feel like we’re just her second choices.
   
2. she’s actually stupid. since all she cares about are potential boyfriends, she has put off school as a priority. shes dropped and failed english 1H, ap human geography, and then this year has failed chem and is on track to fail geometry as well. ALL REGULAR CLASSES THIS YEAR. she has a 2.0 gpa. and she always tries to make me and my sister feel bad for striving to achieve perfect grades (we’re in ap and honors classes too) saying “whattttt but a b is so good..” like honestly not my fault you’re not trying and you’re complaining but my grades don’t come naturally they come from my blood sweat and tears. maybe try to give the boys a break and then you could focus on your grades and not failing?
   
3. she’s highkey narcissistic. half the time she talks in our group chat, it’s asking if a pic of a tiktok is cute “for the spammy”. i’m not jealous of her even though it may sound like it, i genuinely think she’s the most beautiful girl ive ever seen, but she cannot go a day without posting a new tiktok or selfie. maybe if she spent less time pin herself, she’d actually pass her classes. but anyway, when we do agree on a pic or call her pretty, she just says “AWWWW TYSM” which honestly feels belittling and kind of feels like she’s just treating us as her fans and only asking for our opinions.
