Hey, I'm working on an old project that uses MongoDB, EJS, Express/Node with an MVC structure. I built a custom audio player to replace the HTML audio player and am working on seek buttons. My question is...how can I trigger a server action when clicking the seek buttons? I know EJS can't access the document so I've been trying to come up with a way to pass a server variable to EJS that I can iterate but not having luck.
This is the express route that holds the data for my show page:

trackIndex is the variable I'm hoping to increment onclick. Here's an example of it's use in my show.ejs:

So...Since the variable is within EJS scriptlet tags the variable doesn't exist on the client so I can't access it in HTML script tags or in my JS file, and I can't access the document within scriptlet tags so I can't setup an event listener in the EJS.
I've tried the NPM package JSDOM, which does allow me to access the DOM but doesn't let me add event listeners.
Any insight on how I can accomplish this would be appreciated!

My band is releasing a new song in 2 weeks and we’re going to be using Groover to jump on some playlists. Anyone have any tips? Specific playlists to shoot for?

Hello, I work for a non-profit and I am trying to figure out places in which I can create a free playlist of music for a 5k fundraiser we are having.
The goal is to have those signing up add a song to the playlist for them to listen to on their run, but also listen to music by other runners. Thoughts on this idea is appreciated before going forward with it will be great (up or down vote)!
Currently I know of Spotify and YouTube that are free. Looking for more options.

I’ve made a pretty big playlist for my gf and my best friend to help become more familiar with FF’s work, before we go see them this summer. And though it can be listened to however anyone wants, I made it in an order based on what songs I thought best transitioned into the next (usually if they’re in the same key). One of them that’s really taken me by surprise is from Halo into In the Clear. It trails off beautifully at the end of Halo, then a hit on the snare and we’re back into the groove. There are other ones as well that caught me off guard was from My Hero into The Pretender. Just a cool observation!

Which Bollywood song you think are musically brilliant? Not talking about lyrics but background music. Listening to them takes you to another level. P.s. asking this because I want to make a playlist.

I listen on Spotify, I have playlists that have all of the songs by ICP including sideshows and whatnot. The 2nd playlist is for the 2nd deck starting at the calm and ending on the flowers. I listen to the in order but I tend to skip albums that look like they are mostly rereleases like the FF. Am I actually missing anything? Any songs in particular I need to look into?

Hey all! I am back at it again, I am looking to shake it up a bit and get out of my social bubble boundary. I am an introvert, INFP if you're into the Personality test. I am an avid gamer, currently playing a lot of WoW getting ready for the new expansion, and DbD currently, but I have tons of games. I am a music head and love all types of music from 70's Country to modern Death Metal, send me your playlists and song recommendations! Album is amazing. Billie and Finneas are seemingly incapable of writing a bad song (or they just have excellent quality control).
BUT!
Am I the only one annoyed that L'Amour De Ma Vie, Bittersuite and Blue are all effectively two songs mashed into one? I am 100% cool with songs seguewaying into each other - that is great - but this is as if Bury A Friend and Ilomilo was ONE song on the debut (they also segueway into each other but are quite rightly treated as two different songs, because that is what they are). I would much rather have it had been exactly the same album, but 13 tracks so I could have playlisted the tracks individually. Like, the second part of "Blue" is probably my favourite song on the entire album and I want to be able to playlist that without necessarily hearing the first part of "Blue", which IMO is one of the lesser tracks on the album.
Also, I don't think it is quite the same as "Happier Than Ever" (the song). While the second part of that song is certainly musically different from the first part, I do feel like that one works as ONE coherent song. I can't really say the same for "L'Amour De Ma Vie" or "Blue", where both really seem like two totally different songs mashed together. I mean, Billie herself said in an interview that the hyperpop part of L'Amour De Ma Vie was a completely different track they just tagged onto it (which was great, since I love that part, but it should de considered a song in its own right).

Hi there. I have been looking for a song for a while now, so I figured I'd see if anyone knew it. Sorry if this is the wrong place for this.
This was a song from an Inuyasha fan video I saw like 10 or 15 years ago. I rediscovered it a few years ago and had it on a playlist, but I just found that the video was deleted or the account was deleted. Either way, it's gone and I don't remember the title or artist name.
The video is like early 2000s and it was buy either a solo male artist or a band, but the one guy is the one who did the singing. From what I remember, the singer was in a field or something and it looked like it was partially shot with drone footage? There were different camera angles and it felt like some of them came from above.
I don't speak Japanese, so I only know what parts sound like rather than actual words. Part of the refrain sounds like "give me my smile days" or "give me my shine days." It might be something different or not actually English, not sure. The refrain ended with something that sounded like "my heart" or "my home," and it was drawn out for like four or five seconds.
I'm not sure if I described this well at all, but this is what I remember. This has been bugging me for a while now, so I figured I'd try and see if anyone knew or remembered it. Thanks so much!
