Hi everyone - hope I am not breaking rules with this post, but I was wondering if I could get some advice. I've been playing FS2019 for a bit now after picking it up on Steam. I did a few maps as "trial maps" and just played around to understand controls and basics.
I'm in my first "real" attempt at a farm and I am having a blast, but had a question about something:
I've really been getting into forestry, but I am having a hard time figuring out the best way to actually transport the logs. So currently, I am using a Ponsse Buffalo and a chainsaw and my route goes something like this:
  1. Chop down the tree with the chainsaw and trim all the fluff/branches.
  2. Pull up to it with the Ponsse
  3. Use the claw to grab the full tree
  4. Pull the full size tree to the back of the loading bin and enage the straps.
  5. Release the tree and then re-grip the tree with the Ponsse claw.
  6. Hop out of the truck, use my chainsaw and chop the tree where the truck bed ends.
  7. Hop back in the truck, pull the next log until it's flush and rinse repeat steps 4-7 until I've got it chopped up.
Now, I've played around with the Ponsse ScorpionKing, and I really like it. I love how it can cut everything to the same exact length and it makes short work of the trees. The question is... when I'm done I have this giant pile of logs everywhere and I can't figure out the best way to transport the logs to the lumbermill/sawmill.
What do you guys recommend? I've tried some loaders and even tried a few mods that have bigger "offroad" trucks that have claws, but it seems so much slower than just doing it 1 tree at a time manually with the Ponsse Buffalo.

2024.05.11 09:57 DevelopmentSea501 Challenging and fun run. Some ground rules and looking for ideas

I'll be starting a new run and after some thought on it i came up with some rules/ideas/mods to make it either more realistic/challenging or more entertaining. So I'll tell you what i have in mind and explain a bit of why i'm going that way (so maybe some of you can take some ideas) and then stablish the stuff I'm still doubtful about, hopefully you can help me with some ideas. Also sorry if my english is not the best, i'll try to edit and explain all that goes unclear.
Map: Alpine Mountains x16. Chose this one because I find straight square filds boring and i find prices for land and productions on map to be challenging but fair.
Goals: I'll either go for one of these 1)try ALL crops and animals, get all productions in map working and maybe a certain % of bought land. 2) Go for animals only, with primary focus on cows since i found a mod that allows for 15k cows (based on a real farm). 3) Get to an insane amount of money, maybe 500 mil?
Rules: - Start from scratch and i'll delete the extra $300k, having at my disposal only the 200K from the starting loan. - Contracts can only be done by me, no AI. - AI Workers: Can only hire until i get a farm house that poses as an office/dinner for employees and can hire 1 worker for every $20k value of said building. i'll use DLC buildings which go up to around $250k IIRC, meaning 12 workers max (at least for now) and tu upgrade building can only be done 1 step at a time, and deleting the previous building. Regular wages from 9-5, outside that time it'll be paid double the rate. - All settings on hard: crop destruction, Seasons on, required everything (plow, weed, stones,etc). - If i can produce it, then i can't buy it. Exceptions are diesel, seeds and fertilizer until i buy the productions for it. Feed and inputs for productions are not allowed to be bought. - Only Cab View: this is not limited with mods since i like to appretiate the equipment, but i wont use aerial view for work but i'll be using "adjustable mirrors" and "work camera" mods to enhace the experience. - Time Frame: i'll probably top it to 3 days, min 1x speed and max unlimited. This is to have some time limit, pushing me to buy more equipment, specially as fields grow in size. - I should be performing some work, not only look at the screen waiting for stuff to be done.This means that farm designing/building and planning counts as working (i mean, is still playing), and also i can go to the bathroom or eat something without pausing the whole thing (just like regular workers can IRL) - No overloading equipment: sum of required HP on tools should not be more that tractor's HP and trailers weight limit on. - No passive earnings (solar panels, wind turbines, etc) -No rules on forestry as of now.
Progression: - I'll start by leasing equipment for contracts, and won't be able to buy mine until i get some land and a home/garage. - Entry fee for every kind of animal ($100k) - QOL tech/mods locked under fees: work camera ($20k) GPS ($100k), Autodrive ($150k), Courseplay ($1 mil) Autoload ($200k) - Yearly Land tax 5% of total value, calculated on Jan and due by end of year. - Tractors upgrade requirements: HP cap is lifted by 100 for every 100 hours spent on already owned tractor (AI included) UNSURE on harvesters and specialized equipment

Someone said to check optional dependencies for Tinkers Construct compatability. While this does reveal quite a few mods with compatability, there are plenty of mods which you simply cannot know have compatability until you install them and check. I'm making a list of such mods and I'd like help finding more.
I'm focusing specifically on 1.12.2 as it seemingly has the most support for Tinkers, broadly, but feel free to share discoveries in other versions like 1.16.5. I would also prefer to focus on mods that aren't listed as Tinkers Construct add-ons, don't mention Tinkers Construct on their mod description page and also show no trace of Tinkers in their dependencies page but ones with a single reference particularly in description are acceptable too.

Hey. I play on PC and Steamdeck (A very Portable Computer that undestands itself as a mix on PC and Console) and I am looking for a server to join and take part in. I can't promise to play very regularly, but I will do my best to make a positive impact.
I like playing as a contractor, so I do jobs for others. A bit of fieldwork, Logistics and Forestry in Hard- and softwood. I do not own all the DLC's, the one important for my trade would be Platinum. For mods, I really don't need much. I would like to enjoy the game with friendly people and few mods. (I use way too many mods)
About me: I am from Germany, with decent English in writing (Exept some mobile keyboard typos...) and somewhat out of practice Vocal English. As one might think, I also know my way around the German Language I have Discord.
Ideally, there is a European group out there looking for players, since rural internet connections are not too impressive around here. But as long as there is a nice group out there, I will be happy to join.

Let me preface this and say that the company still needs to be criticized as I do believe that advertising an energy drink to be mixed with an alcoholic beverage is not a good idea, especially with a younger demographic tuning in. I personally wouldn't have made this sponsor choice and done those actions with it if I was in their position, but Nijisanji has not recently been particularly smart with these matters.
However, I also believe that we should at least verify some of the events that took place that had gotten people riled up as well. From what I could find, there are a couple of things that I can confirm:
So, with this information, we can conclude that these things did happen, but there's one major point that we have not seen quite yet. Where are the teenagers that were hospitalized as a result of this stream?
According to this summation done by Siliconera addressing this very issue, the only source that I could find regarding this specific claim is a single post. In this post, there are no sources, no evidence, and nothing substantial to back it up, so I don't necessarily trust it.
I have scoured the Internet to ensure that I was not missing anything and could find nothing even remotely insinuating this claim and as a result, I have come to this conclusion:
Anycolor staff made a genuinely bone-headed move with this recipe and ought to have been more careful with the advertisement and sponsorships as well as not put their streamers at risk for any pushback or harassment as a result of their bad PR decisions.
But until definitive proof is given, I will not accuse them of putting teenagers in the hospital when no such evidence exists at the time of this post being made. If there is news in the coming hours or days confirming that this connection can be made, however, I will accept that and will change my opinion accordingly.
I will also still stick to my stance that we ought not to jump on the quickest anti-Nijisanji mistake and look into it to confirm its verifiability before leveling some of these accusations as it can genuinely be speculation and/or fake news. The members of this sub and the mods are more than free to criticize or add to this in good faith.

This map has a lot of sale points, train circles most the map, has small quarry, has several decent fields, forestry can be cleared to make for more fields or custom town building. A lot of the buildings can be removed for customizing your touch. Complaints to this map would be the train can not handle a lot of individual items. It will sometimes lag or loose them. Andbthe other would be the smaller rocks in the wooded high lands are not removable. I've heard if on a PC you can get a mod that will remove them but I don't know if it really works. This is the only Complaints about the map think it's a great map otherwise. I think for a mod map builder could actually make a switch rail so you can send the train either in a loop or off the map to another town would be a great and simple mod to do that could be possible for even console users. Any map builders could give me some insite to issues of doing so?

Hello everyone. Well, like title says.
Fashionscape is nice and great, but the truth is that it can be considered a self imposed restriction.
Whenever players complain about new wilderness content because "It is too dangerous", the game mods answer is "don't go into the wilderness" or something similar.
Whenever players complain that a specific account build cannot do this or that content, the game mods answer is "you are playing with a self imposed restriction and its your choice" or something like that.
Well, the same could be said of fashionscape. You are the one choosing to go around the game doing stuff while wearing fashionscape. But its not really necessary to do that.
Then we have the new skilling outfit for the Herblore skill. Initially it was proposed with each piece having an effect, and if you check the Varla-MORE posts you can clearly see that many players supports this, a real skilling outfit with each piece having an effect. But it turns out that it has been changed to only the goggles have an effect, and the reasoning behind this is because of fashionscape. And in my opinion this is just out of place, since all other skilling sets are fully functional. I would rather have the other set pieces scrapped instead of being useless.
If fashionscape is really that important, then it would be better to include something like the forestry pouch for lumberjack outfit.
Its also interesting to note that after this, the only skills that lack a skilling outfit are cooking and crafting (fletching, i don't think it needs a skilling outfit). And they probably will be neglected too because of the players complaining about fashionscape.

2024.04.29 21:21 Express_Yard9305 The actual problem with Daniel.

His animations suck ass.
And so do Be'lakor's just for the sake of fairnes. However Be'lakor cheats because he has regen and ward save from turn one.
Meanwhile Daniel... you put him into a group of *things he should handle with ease* and he loses half his HP because he just stands there like an idiot in the middle of the group, and when you try microinh him he takes about 5 seconds to even acknowledge your command, and turn around so he doesn't get backstabbed by hundreds of little pieces of shit. Beyond this, in the early game, he does this super over the top attacks, that deal absolutely no damage. I feel like no other big single entity has this effect., Simply because they are not designed to gradually get stronger. THey are strong from the get go and only get stronger. Meanwhile Daniel... well he is just weak, but later on that's a different issue.
Sure there are plenty of things wrong with the DoC campaign but most of them can and have been fixed by mods (two specific mods really), but this I fear never will. And it kinda makes his campaign unfun by itself.
EDIT: Since you all asked for it. Here be the mods I use to enhance the Daniel experience:
Mordhau's Godslayer Overhaul for a complete Legion overhaul (including all new body parts, and mortals in the roaster, and so much more)
Wolfy's Allegeance of the Damned allows lore friendly confed options for Daniel and all other daemonic characters too
Victory Conditions Overhaul Grants a huge boost for Daniel for achieveing new thematic victories.
Dynamic world + Fancier forestry To turn spreading corruption into an amazing mini game. Worth playing chaos just for this mod.

hi i've been trying to play crundee craft or crazy craft for a long time now but i just cant seem to get it started everytime i launch crundee craft it crashes almost instantly, i have tried multiple things like:
updating every mod
updating java
updating curseforge/Atlauncher
removing unwanted mods
removing mods folder
removing .minecraft
ending minecraft launcher tasks while loading
adding Ram in ATlauncher
trying old versions.

but i cant seem to get anything started. crundee craft doesnt even fully startup, i have added an crash report below
crazy craft does start up barely and when its finally done loading in it either crashes or is unplayable as it looks like u have 1fps while i have a pretty decent pc

if anyone has any ideas or solutions i would love to hear them. or if anyone knows if its not possible to play those anymore as of the transfer from mojang to microsoft.

[E2E] extracting items from forestry arboretum
Hi everyone,
Quite new to modded minecraft. Recently started playing E2E, and after struggling a lot with the different power types, I managed to finally build a arboretum, which is powered by a forestry biogas generator.
However, now I'm having issues extracting the items from the farm to a chest. Here's a screenshot of my setup. I've been looking around the internet, but can mostly find information on later game solutions. Are there any early game solutions to:
1) Transferring output from arboretum to chest
2) Transfering water to fermenter
3) Transfering biomass from fermenter to biogas generator
