So I thought I’d leave my review since it’s summer and I’m sure others are wondering what to try. I live in Michigan and the summers here are pretty humid. I know the cooling vests/accessories are not generally recommended for humid weather so I thought I’d first try the accessory items before the vest and see how it goes.

I personally like the Ruffwear cooling neck gaiter more.
The one cool feature I liked about the Canada pooch bandana was that they had an option to buy a kind that changes from being a solid color when dry, to happy faces appearing when wet. This is a nice feature so you know when the bandana needs to be resoaked or just taken off if it’s dry and there’s no more water.
Only issue is, i think i ordered a size too large. I ordered a medium for my Maltese mix dog who is 20 pounds. Should have stuck with a small. No matter how much i tied it, it fell off. I think it was too long for my dog so it bothered him when he walked. But I’m not even bothering to exchange it and the reason for that is, i don’t think a size small would have been useful anyway. Even if it stuck on to him, i don’t like the concept of the bandana as much as the gaiter. It doesn’t stick around him/his neck or chest enough to make a difference anyway. What’s nice about the Ruffwear gaiter is that it wraps around his neck so it stays in place against his skin and isn’t hanging out like a bandana typically does. If i wanted to cover the chest and back area that’s where a harness would come in handy. Neck gaiter i purchased in a size x-small by the way. Fits perfect. Their sizing runs differently since it’s a gaiter, not a bandana, so there’s more size options.
Now the neck gaiter i think made an actual difference. Yesterday when i took my dog out in 82-85 degree weather, he wanted to go back inside within 5 minutes and ran for his life for water, understandably so. Today i put on the Ruffwear neck gaiter for the first time and he was able to have a typical 15-20 minute quick walk around our condo complex. He was way more relaxed coming back compared to yesterday’s walk. And both days have been just as humid/sunny at around the same time both days.
Now don’t get me wrong, i don’t think this gaiter would have been as useful in humid weather for long walks/walking long trails. Unless you had a ton of water to constantly re-soak the gaiter with, but that sounds too heavy to carry on such long walks. In dry heat I’m sure it’s more manageable.
But this helped me decide to just go ahead and get my dog a cooling harness. I would be using it for shorter walks so I’m not worried about it drying up and making him hotter in the humidity. I don’t give my dog long walks if it’s that hot outside anyways, not worth risking it. He’s sensitive to heat as most dogs are.
Hope this helped anyone who’s going back and forth about the humidity issue with cooling wear. As a bonus review, i got my dog one of the cooling toys from Canada pooch, specifically the dolphin. I believe there’s 4 different animal cooling toys. He’s obsessed with it and i haven’t even soaked it yet lol!!!
I didn’t bother with the hat because i know he will get it off. Same with pavement boots. He would never allow me to get those on. I just avoid walks on pavement if it’s that hot. Luckily for me it’s easy to avoid since grass is right by my garage and door.
I’m not interested in cooling vests since my dog is always leashed when outside (unless at dog park but still needs a harness between going in and out of park and car. He’s a puller so can’t use leash with his collar.
I see that both Ruffwear and Canada pooch have a cooling harness but i think I’m gonna go with Ruffwear just because i know their material on the neck gaiter worked on my dog. That doesn’t mean Canada pooch material wouldn’t work, but i wasn’t able to test it out since the bandana design is flawed in my opinion. I’ll edit my review of the Ruffwear cooling harness once i have it. Hopefully it’s just as affective as their neck gaiter was for short walks.
TLDR: get the Ruffwear cooling neck gaiter over the Canada pooch cooling bandana in my opinion. Neck gaiter is a better design over a bandana. These items work fine in humid heat as long as it’s for short walks. Haven’t and wouldn’t try for long walks. I avoid long walks in high heat anyways, especially since it’s humid by me. Will try Ruffwear cooling harness next for the same purposes and edit this post with my review!

Hey everyone, I just recently purchased a 2012 mazdaspeed3 with 68k miles. I've been doing my research on the mod orders, and I see that an AP should be one of the first mods before adding more bolt-ons. The car currently has the following mods:

• Corsksport hpfp (first mod according to previous owner)
  
• Cobb sf intake
  
• Test pipe
  
• Hypertech tuner
  

How safe are these mods without a proper tune? I plan on buying an AP and getting an OST Tune with freektune, but I want to know if these would have a long term impact on reliability (from the previous owner). The car doesn't have a lot of miles on it, so I'm not super worried, but I also want to know how urgent the tune will be.
I don't plan on adding any other performance mods in the near future. I would like to keep the car as reliable as possible.

Hi! I was recently diagnosed by my doctor after routine blood work with type 1 diabetes. I am questioning this diagnosis and am looking for some insight from people more experienced than me, because I feel that my doctor is not taking my questions seriously.
I got my fasting blood draw done for my routine physical last week, a1c was at 11, blood sugar was at 285. I am aware and fully accept that this indicates diabetes. I have a family history of type 2 on both sides of my family, probably about half of my adult family members on both sides, so honestly I was expecting it to come up at some point. I am 23 years old, and work a very active job at an animal shelter cleaning kennels, walking dogs, and assisting with lifting animals for surgeries. I am a bit overweight but not obese, I used to be but 3 years ago switched birth controls and have lost weight slowly and steadily since.
When my doctor called Monday with results, she asked some questions:
"Do you drink a lot of water or stay thirsty a lot?" "No"
"How often do you get up to use the bathroom at night?" "Usually once, sometimes not at all"
"Have you lost weight?" "Yes, 60 pounds over the last 3 years after switching birth control, only like 10 pounds the past year though."
She then said that she is diagnosing me with type 1 diabetes. I asked for an in person appointment to discuss my treatment options and she made me one with a different provider as her schedule was full.
A few hours later, she texted to let me know she had sent me in an insulin prescription. I looked and she had prescribed 30 units a day (5 fast acting for each meal, 15 long acting at night) which I felt like was a lot.
I did some googling in the meantime and felt like I didn't have any of the symptoms really. I also talked to a coworker who is type one and she advised me to hold off on the insulin until speaking to an endocrinologist since I feel fine. I decided to ask about the test for markers to determine the type I have since I have a big family history of type 2.
I went to my appointment with the second doctor that afternoon. I asked him about the test for markers and he said he had never heard of it. He looked up what it was in front of me and decided to order it. He also ordered another fasting blood draw for glucose levels and a1c. When I asked him why they thought it was type 1, he said "it can't be type 2 because you're not obese" which from what I've read is incorrect. I had him send me a referral to an endocrinologist. And he gave me a glucose tester with instructions to track my levels. He seemed to think I was in denial about having diabetes, kept saying "you definitely have it" which I'm not denying I just want to know for sure what type. I also asked why start me out on so much insulin instead of going into diet/exercise details or trying oral medication and his response was "that's a good point".
Does this seem normal? I feel that my doctors thus far have not seemed very knowledgeable about the disease from what I have been researching on my own. I am definitely planning on a second opinion from an endocrinologist either way. Thanks!

This method is quite simple but extremely effective. It involves the MEXC exchange and the EOS coin (you can learn more about it on CoinMarketCap).
The method revolves around using an old EOS listing address that compensated users with a percentage of the commission (initially, the exchange set too high a commission for each transaction on the EOS network, and in order not to lose potential investors, EOS reduced the percentage using their own funds). The listing passed, and EOS changed the cold address to a hot one, which does not provide such an opportunity. But the joke is that if we use the cold address, it will bring us a profit of 0.5%. It's a small percentage, but with compound interest, you can earn a decent amount of money.
How to do it?
1) Buy a EOS coin
2) Then go to Wallet, Spot and select the purchased EOS
3) Select Deposit and copy MEMO (Digits)
4) Go back and select Withdraw

• Network: EOS
• Address: testnet
• MEMO: Enter the copied MEMO

5) Choose a small amount of coins for the test
6) And after ±10 minutes we get the amount sent, but only +0.5% (in coins)

I want to write this here since I'm a fan and to get some advice since my post keeps getting removed from other subs. I came home about 5 months ago after deciding that I wanted to take a break from college because of burnout. I had been begging my father to send me back to our home country to refresh and get back to school, and about a month ago, he agreed because he had been wanting to go to the doctor where there isn't as long a wait to get a consultation as it is here so we went together. Unfortunately, he had to go back to the U.S. about a week later since the doctor told him his condition was severe and that he needed to get further tested since they didn't have that kind of equipment and especially not for cheap as our home country is a 3rd world country, we have a healthcare plan in the U.S. that covers most things anyway. Not even a couple hours later after he landed, we got the news that he had colon cancer and that he had to go into surgery in a couple of days.
My family all collectively decided that because I wasn't "doing anything" and because my mom didn't want to put in the effort of learning how to take public transport even though she's lived here for 5 years, I was the one who had to take care of my dad. They flew me back the next day. When I landed, I didn't even have time to rest after traveling internationally with our suitcases. I was pretty much told by my grandmother to get food ordered and head straight to the hospital to take care of my dad, and I did. In a way, I was happy that I was finally being helpful to my parents. My dad was in the hospital for about 10 days. For those 10 days, I fell asleep by his side in a chair almost every day, calling and texting family to update them on his condition; every few hours, the nurses and doctors would come in to give him meds and talk to him. I would pretty much be awake for all those days with only a couple of hours of sleep as I would be the one to have to translate for him and to tell them of any questions he may have. I only left the hospital to take public transport for an hour and return home to shower. But honestly, that wasn't hard at all; it was the way that my family and even my father would talk about me that made me depressed.
My aunt slashed out at me because I called my other aunt a shared Uber from the hospital to her house to not spend a lot of money; she called me a penny pincher and said that I put her in danger by doing that at night, but she later apologized. My father would call me useless and tell me that I was worth nothing and that I might as well stay home because I was doing nothing to support him. This triggered me as my mom had been telling me that stuff my entire life, and hearing it from my father made me feel like those words were true. I tried to push it aside and forget about it; I knew that he was just probably easily agitated at the hospital because of all the medicine and needles and having his surgery pushed back. But his behavior hasn't changed; if anything, he became more hateful towards me.
A couple of days ago, I woke up to them and my grandmother talking in the living room and calling me all types of things. Useless, worth nothing, unhelpful, berating my entire existence just because I couldn't get on the line with my father's doctors to make his appointments due to the lines were always busy saying that I couldn't even do that. After they changed the topic, I went out pretending to have just woken up and called the doctors in front of them. I was finally connected with the doctors and got the appointments for him. My grandmother thanked me and told me that I was so helpful for doing all of this and being the backbone of the family through this challenging situation at such a young age. Honestly, I couldn't even look at her, knowing she could say that not even an hour after she talked behind my back, criticizing me. I wasn't surprised that my mom was in on it, but so was the aunt I mentioned before, my grandmother, and my father. Some days after that, I accompanied my father to one of his appointments again to translate for him, and after I relayed the fact that my father needed chemo to my family, they all got angry at me for saying that even though that was what the doctor had told me point blank. They contacted a family friend who works at the hospital to ask him if this was true, and he said that it was, but it was likely only to be preventive. They never apologized for questioning me and calling me a liar, even though what I said was precisely what the doctor had told me. I mean, I'm 18; I don't think I'm supposed to have the medical knowledge to know what type of chemo a patient needs.
I thought I could get over this entire situation since this is stuff that I have had to deal with my whole life from my mother but to hear those exact words from my father and my other closely related family is making me fall into crippling depression again. To listen to those things from people I thought cared about me and wanted to watch me succeed to find out this is what they really think about me. He was supposed to be my good parent. I don't know what to do anymore nowadays. Even getting up from my bed to use the bathroom seems like a chore. I've just slammed my mind with media every waking hour so that I don't think about it anymore, but the words they said are always looming at the back of my mind.

Ok so assuming a licensed individual has to retake either the written, or behind the wheel portion of the test upon renewal… what is the grading criteria?
In California the written is limited to 7 mistakes for first timers. Likewise, the behind the wheel for first timers is limited to 15 mistakes.
So there lies my question, does this grading criteria change for people once they have to retake in order to renew their license?

Hi, hoping someone here can help! Here's the situation:
I sell cookies. Each flavor is its own product with inventory tracking, and customers can build boxes of cookies by selecting their flavors (I use the mix & match plugin). I have one main location for order pick ups but I'm doing a short-term pre-order pop up, so some orders will be picked up at a different location.
I've created categories for each location, call them A & B. I've assigned every flavor to both categories since they're both pulling from the same inventory, and I've set up MailPoet automations to send confirmation emails with pick up instructions based on the category ordered from.
Here's my problem: Since any order is pulling from the same inventory that's assigned to both categories, customers will get both MailPoet confirmation emails -- I had a friend run a test order for this. Even though she was ordering for A location pick up, she received emails for A & B.
Is there any way to handle the 2 locations without duplicating the products or without creating a separate store front?

I'm reaching out for some advice/guidance regarding my job search situation after a challenging last year or so. I guess I start by saying that this will be a long post.

1. I finished a contract job early last year. After spending a significant amount of time on the resume (first time i did so largely on my own, took a better part of a few months trying to figure that out). I started applying online around the summer and I was getting interviews, but it didn't go anywhere (got close twice, getting to the third round, but still nothing).

Long story short, It got to the point where this year, i needed to move back in with family because i didnt want to go into debt. Now, there telling me to apply to the CRA and do the situational judgement test, and then everything will be fine and you could apply to any job.
Ignoring how incredibly competitive those roles must be, there's likely a high probability that I don’t have the years of experience for that (have basically around 2 years in several roles) that I dont see, with my employment gap and despite me doing volunteer work right now how even if i do the situational judgement test, that it could be remotely worth the effort.... Is this in any way realistic? Anyone familiar with what the process is actually like applying for jobs at the CRA?

1. My interviewing skills are weak. I've made careless mistakes as I look back on some interviews i've done. I've thought about going to the university i graduated from and asking for help, however, I always felt that interview prep was more suitable after getting the request for the interview from the employer, meaning you have a few day notice at best.

Each job description/job your applying for is different so your preparation will be different each time. Is there a place any of you went to in order to get help with interviews? Has general interview preparation worked for you?
I've practiced with family/friends before many times, but it hasnt really helped because the issue is and its hard to explain, but its hard to simulate an actual job interview with people your familiar with because the nerves aren't there for me.

1. At this point, I view advice like "apply online", "keep applying" given my unemployment gap is longer then a year, that advice feels like a wasted effort right now, I've tailored and altered my resume slightly, changing job titles, the beginning profile summary so it aligns better with jobs i've applied for so many times, I have so many different versions of my resume saved on my computer.

I had finally decided last month, to change my strategy and given that I had to move back in with family, I looked more toward volunteer work, as an easier way to cover up an employment gap, and an easier way to gain work experience right now. I started a non-paid volunteer role last month (thankfully, no interview required, just orientation process). This felt like a realistic option, but its a non-paid volunteer role. That very obviously wont work long term, and thats why I'm looking for general advice here on what to do next.

1. I've contacted agencies. Robert Half, Recruiting in Motion, Altis Technology are the ones where I have actually get responses back. However, i guess it comes back to the interviewing skills issue where maybe I'm just not showing enough energy during those calls. Which is why, going back to #2, If anyone has tips or resources that helped them improve their interview skills beyond practicing with family and friends, I'd greatly appreciate any advice you can offer.
   
2. I'm also signed up with YMCA's Employment Services through Employment Ontario. I recently did that, so its to early for me to say whether they'll be any benefit from it.
   
3. In terms of networking, I went through a significant amount of mental and physical health issues during my time in university. One of my regrets during that time was not being able to do, what your supposed to during that time which was network/build connections. I was in no shape to remotely think about working and doing school work at the same time. I tried that once during the summer time one year and I was really struggling , and I was only doing 2 courses during that semester. I’m far better now compared to before, but its more that, now that I’m out of school. I’m not sure where to start with that. ________________________

Housekeeping

• Yesterday was a sick day so I wasn't able to do any trading unfortunately until the very late afternoon I grabbed 5 contracts of FFIE $0.5 puts on the Jun 21 expiry. I'm attempting to take advantage of this stint of small cap rallies eventually fizzling out.

^ Ultimately the thesis here was to sell weekly diagonals against it to eventually make the original long puts "free" (realistically you can use this to actually pay you to make this play which is fun). I have open positions using this same strategy with GME & AMC as well. However looking today, I realized FFIE only trades monthly option chains and I can't diagonal. I'll be holding for now but as of writing the stock is down 23% on the day so I should be able to get out of the trade before expiry with some profit still.

• Shifting a little, I'm considering adding an occassional shares based day trade. Since I don't have a 25k trading account anymore at the moment, I don't want to bring on this type of issue so I won't be doing this all the time but I set up a gap up scanner to screen out some cheap small to mid cap stocks that move on news or earnings to play quickly intraday.
  
• Made some moves in the Investment Account, using a large chunk of the cash position there to get some high yield divi / income generators and add more to the ETF funds. Still looking to park some extra cash into the individuals, just trying to decide which ones. Looking forward to sharing that account update on Friday.
  

The Plays

Let's break down the plays for today. There were a few:
• SPXW $5,420 call, May 28 expiry (-$135, open position)
^ I'm testing out a little different strategy here taking a crack at premium trading the index directly. We have a decent catalyst coming up in the NVDA earnings so it may move the market a bit. And I was interested in seeing if a two standard deviation move in the underlying could snag me some cheap premium profit after earnings on NVDA. Will keep this updated as it nears expiry.
• MMAT shares (402 @ $3.60 in, stopped at $3.475 ; -$50, closed position)
^ This was the first shares trade I was trying in a bit. Showed up on my scanner and I took a stab at it. Frustratingly I had a take profit order set at $4.00, and the stock top ticked at $3.97 (check it at 11:11AM EST) then dropped to my stop loss. Only a $50 loss but with only 3 day trades allowed before stopping to allow the PDT reset, it was pretty annoying to say the least.
• GME $19.5 put, May 24 expiry (+$97, open diagonal)
• GME $17 put, May 24 expiry (+$23, open diagonal)
^ these are the open positions pegged against the $20 and $15 long puts I had opened for the Jun 21 expiry. Will update these at the end of the week

^ really not the happiest about this risk to reward here. But these were the 10% delta plays for the day right before earnings release. Target just announced major price drops, and shopping in their stores recently is becoming a chore. It's pretty sad actually to see how bad it's gotten, just the experience of shopping at a Target. I'm hoping that at least caps my risk at the put side which would only be $100 but we'll have to see as the week goes on.

I need to test if my payment method would work (international payment) before arranging for it. I was thinking to just post a request online that I would order a low value item for someone visiting the store and they can just pick that up for free and keep it. It'll confirm that the payment works. But, could there be downsides to such a method?

I just tested a second grader using the TILLS. Based on the quadrant model, it seems to be an oral-written language disorder since all the scores are low. Aside from some decreased vocabulary awareness, her oral expression skills are pretty solid. She is not yet reading. She attempts to decode every word. She is not able to spell either. Based on observations, memory is very poor. She comprehends basic directions and can recall information from a story read orally. I just feel as though her oral skills are pretty strong. I realize a child doesn’t need to have major deficits in both written and oral language in order to have this label, but I’m just stumped because her deficits in oral language are so minimal. Knowing this information, does it still seem as though oral-written language disorder is an appropriate label? Happy to provide more information if needed.

When people ask about TPS, there’s many deeper questions to be asked in order to understand what we are buying into and it becomes very difficult to make apple to apples comparisons. This is why no metric is more misunderstood than TPS but I'm going to demystify it today.
TPS is largely dependent on hardware which is optimized by the blockchain software developers. The more performant the node hardware is, the larger blocks you can have, resulting in higher TPS. So let’s look at hardware first:
KOINOS VALIDATOR HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS
Koinos debuted with a functional peak output of 450 TPS. This value is based on the following recommended hardware specifications:

• 8 Core CPU (i7 9700 or equivalent)
• 16GB RAM

These specifications are very typical for home based hardware making it easy for users to help decentralize the network by using their home PC. Because Koinos runs on Proof of Burn, the amount of electricity used to run a Koinos node is comparable to that of typical Proof of Stake networks. One of the key features that helped Koinos decentralized at launch was making the node hardware accessible to the average person. Let's take a look at Solana for comparison and see how that stacks up against Koinos.
SOLANA VALIDATOR HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS
Solana’s functional peak output is about 1500 TPS depending on how you calculate it. There's been a lot of misdirection from the Solana team and the community in regards to their true TPS. Nonetheless, Solana still has the highest output of all blockchains and it effectively has 3x the TPS of Koinos. Their value is based on the following recommended hardware specifications:

• 12 Core/24 thread CPU (2.8ghz base clock or faster) limited to cpus with SHA extensions.
• 256GB RAM

For the record, Solana even states that running a validator on a cloud platform may not be cost effective over the long term. This is primarily due to the cost of renting equipment with high CPU and RAM specs. The SHA extention requirements are primarily found on server grade CPUs and not typical home based CPUs. Most people would need to purchase a specific machine to run a Solana node because its more performant than even typical high performance home machines.
HOW TPS IS TYPICAL MEASURED
In most cases, TPS is measured by sending tokens back and forth on the network and does not take into account the type of transactions being performed. For example the TPS tests were performed with NFT mints, the actual TPS would reduce because NFT mints require more resources than token transfers.
THE CONCLUSION
Obviously we can buy $SOL and go for the ride but if we're truly searching for deep value, we have critically think about how $KOIN can achieve similar if not, better TPS than Solana. For example, if the Koinos core software were optimized to run on Solana's hardware requirements, can Koinos compete with Solana? This means a 16x increase in RAM requirements and a 2x improvement on CPU performance.
The answer is an obvious yes because Koinos can simply increase the block size, decrease blocktime and force people to use higher spec hardware. This will put Koinos on par with Solana as far as TPS goes and you would still get zero fee transaction on Koinos and all of its great built in account abstraction abilities.
This is the type of deep value we're looking for when looking at Koinos.

-Disclaimer: This is an examination of Dottore being a complex morally grey villain that wasn't just born 100% evil, it's NOT a case that he's a good boy.-
I'll assume Zandik is Dottore since it's very likely (plus, someone tried to name their Wanderer that but it didn't work.)
Let's start with the oldest piece of lore:
-- Doctor's Pinion reveals a tragic past with unknown reasons for persecution --
When Pierro first tried to recruit Zandik / Dottore, he responded:

"Will you treat me like the Akademiya did? Will you call me a monster, a madman?" "Or will you treat me as my hometown did, and chase me away with pitchforks and clubs...?"

Some people assume the persecution was because of his experiments but it's important to note that the fact is we don't know what happened so there's a chance it wasn't something evil. That he could be chased away by "pitchforks and clubs" indicates he was weak at that point and couldn't do anything to stop it.
He also expresses a desire to merge humans with machines.

"With or without a Vision, and irrespective of their physique or combat skills,"Enhanced humans" would surely display strength far beyond the average."

This shows a desire to give power to the weak (likely including himself), even if they lack visions. Which isn't inherently a bad thing, it's just against the Akademiya's teachings. This applies even to Scaramouche, whose power had been locked by Raiden and he unlocked it.
-- Mysterious moral convictions --
Although a lot of the fandom accuses him of having no ethics or morals at all, there are several hints that this isn't the case.
He got mad at Scaramouche when told: "you only care about your crazy experiments" and told Nahida he has "his own convictions, we just don't share them" which were both conveniently not further explained. There is also the Jeht quest incident but i'll discuss it later on.
-- Eleazar hospital notes --
To briefly summarize the notes, he cured a patient using another dead patient's remains. His treatment was harsh but successful. These notes read like a Dr. House script, Dottore not giving a crap about the patient's religious beliefs included.
Abbas had a terrible ending because he had developed insanity and ran away. Zandik/ Dottore left a note warning not to let him go but it seems the staff didn't listen.
These notes align with how plague doctors were misunderstood and feared in real life. This motif was incorporated into his video game iteration, replacing the joker / clown persona.
Some people interpreted these notes as "Dottore murders and mutilates people that are alive for experiments" but there's no indication of that.
-- Aranara experiment notes --
These are the worst by far. It's unclear if the "subjects" were people with Eleazar or healthy people exposed to the withering for tests. It has to be pointed out that it seems the actions were done by his subordinates since it's likely Dottore reprimanding them at the end:

"This is a waste of resources. It is advisable to watch over the subjects' mental state in the next experiment and avoid exposing them to extreme environments... Lab Lead on duty: ████"

Yes, this sounds bad but it's proof he isn't a sadist that enjoys watching pain.
It also means he is higher in a moral standpoint than characters like Jack Horner. These type of characters don't care or enjoy deaths with the pretext of "we can always get more lackeys."
-- During the Jeht quest --
Froderock (a subordinate of Dottore) wants to capture an eremite. It is stated he is acting on his own and that Dottore gave an order not to kidnap eremites.
A note by another Fatui member states that Froderock is going to get killed for going against the order. We can theorize that the Harbinger himself would kill him. There's also a line about "following military regulations" which means his subordinates operate under a code and can't just kidnap people for experiments for the lols.

Fatui Negotiator: Professor Froderock was looking for live specimens in the desert — he always defied The Doctor's orders... That's just pure jealousy, if you ask me
...I urge you to consider, Captain Zoya, that if we are able to complete this research work in the desert, perhaps our entire expeditionary force may receive the favor of our great Harbinger... (This line has been crossed out using a red pen, and a line in red has been added: "How about you consider military regulations? Or perhaps you would like to consider how long you have left to live?")

A similar thing happened with Arlecchino in the Fortune Slip quest in Inazuma. Subordinates of her were acting on their own by following the previous Knave's teachings to make some orphans for the House.
-- *Time of Insight Artifact * --
It mentions a "mad scientist expelled by the akademia" and the text under it seems to be Dottore speaking.
The last part says:

"Those sellswords (Eremites) once did much for me. I trust they will not disappoint this time, either."

Combining Jeht quest with this makes it seem that eremites helped Dottore in some way and he is fond enough of them to slaughter a subordinate that brings them harm.
The following text seems to be Dottore's reason to want to capture Aranaras:

"The dream had to be captured — along with the inhabitants of the forest who could control dreams, To remind that friend once again of one's own form and the memories that were shared.
If the organ that governs memory has taken too much damage and cannot be healed, Then bring another old friend and dwell in dreams of the past together, Play in a small tree house, and explore the limitless depth of the jungle. Yes, that would be nice as well. For in dreams, everyone has a chance to start over."

I couldn't find more info about this "friend". It seems to be someone who suffered the effects of erosion or death, or an aranara that lost their memory.
-- Al Haitham's SQ --
Alhaitham: (To Siraj / the villain, after praising his intelligence)

"You would never let a test subject escape. Mistakes like that are beneath you, and you also won't leave any mistake without a resolution."

This is relevant because we know Dottore is canonically smarter than Siraj yet he didn't hunt down Collei (Barnabas is the one that traumatized and wanted to kill her), Abbas or Scara. It's a known thing there's a Fatui code that traitors and deserters are executed to avoid spilling secrets. Dottore leaves even Scara alone, you may argue that he was lazy but suspiciously Childe, who during Labyrinth Warriors was chasing Scara, soon appeared in Inazuma in a photo taking event, leaving for Snezhnaya, after Scara lost his gnosis.
It was never explained why Childe was chasing him to take away the Gnosis yet suddenly Scara appeared with Dottore without Childe. This is suspicious because Childe loves to fight, to the point he wanted to fight Arle while recovering on her SQ. He didn't even show up to finish off Scaramouche at the end.
To play Devil's advocate, it could also be Scaramouche is a part of some unknown plan too and nothing to do with mercy.
-- Dottore's speech to Niwa --
Taking into account Nahida's story that says: "the monster found solace in the kitten", the black bird referring to himself as "a monstrosity yet they are too foolish to see it" and Dottore's lines to Pierro:

"Will you call me a monster, a madman?"

Dottore sees himself as an inhuman monster. It puts into question if the following line wasn't just about Scaramouche and is actually a metaphor of Dottore speaking about his past:

"Escher: Even without you, that pure, innocent puppet would only end up being used by someone else instead. What other reason would a human have for befriending one who is not of our kind?"

Although Dottore refers to himself as "human", the two lines I quoted previously contradict this. Mentally he sees himself as not human (to the point of finding solace in a living puppet), even though his words say otherwise. There is also a chance this Dottore was no longer human at all, the Nahida story shows the monster bird had tiny floating birds around, even though he hadn't studied Scaramouche to create the segments.
There is also a stark contrast between Dottore joining the Fatui expresing concern over been rejected again yet he is embracing his monster persona in the Niwa scene.

"Escher: Think of me as a monster or a demon, if you wish... "

It could be a sign of a person with trauma who steered into an evil path. Kept getting called a monster until he accepted it.
There could be many reasons for the change, besides being used, -incoming pure speculation- he could have experimented on himself to have less emotions or taking this quote into account: "everyone has a chance to start over in dreams" he believes he can commit atrocities and it won't matter because he plans to do a reset somehow.

" The Doctor: Jester, I have completed the task you gave me. Creating a gap and infiltrating Inazuma's inner workings... Heh, what fun it was. The Doctor: I'd like to introduce a puppet to you. If he proves useful, let's make him our newest comrade. And if not... let's turn him to dust."

The bold part is more clues of either future Scara related scheming or Dottore's words are an act, mercy was shown when he became useless. It also seems that Pierro stirred him into a darker path.
I wouldn't say it's confirmation that Pierro is pure evil because we barely know anything about him, there's a chance it was for some greater good since that's a trend with the Harbingers.
-- Possible Sohreh murder --
At first glance, it seems way too obvious that Zandik did it, it's like watching a murder mystery movie and the first suspect is a red herring.
Since people frequently incorrectly state: "Dottore murdered a girl while they were having a picnic" like a fact, I'm going to make a deep dive into these notes:
First there is no clear motive for him killing Sohreh. (Niwa had a purpose.)

attack of Rishboland Tigers. In need of first aid..."

The bold part implies she was still alive while Zandik was dealing with the Ruin Guard. The broken bone didn't happen during the picnic while he was alone with her. She was declared dead and buried after the attack, she could have been killed during it while everyone was distracted.
-Does the Akademiya think that Zandik is responsible?-
There is a message board that says he was investigated over her murder.
The lack of motive combined with Zandik only receiving negative consequences from saving the team makes me think he was framed and acted on impulse / emotion when saving them or he turned it on to spook the tigers and it accidentally killed her.
Why? He could have just ran away and let everyone die to not reveal he was hiding ruin guard knowledge. Which he expressed on the notes that he didn't want the rest to know:

"I am going to take them (Ruin guards) apart, and record the size and shape one by one...
...But first of all, this secret must not be revealed to the other team members..."
...Thank goodness, Zandik reacted quickly. Otherwise, the whole team would be in serious trouble..."

-Some people argue that "running away and letting everyone die would have been too suspicious so he saved them."
It's more likely he was just a weak regular human at that point in his life so it wouldn't have been too suspicious to run away / he actually risked his life to shut it down.-
The 2 burned notes both state: "Someone seems to have burnt the contents in a hurry" it could have been the person trying to frame him. One of them is a note about the Ruin Guards and has Zandik's signature, they may have wanted to steal credit of his research.
-Regarding who framed Dottore, u/Sandflow_23 commented an excellent theory
lt seems Zandik didn't care much about Sohreh's death since he proceeded to ask the team to take back the Ruinguard while she was bleeding but the Eleazar hospital notes come after this incident. Was this his first instance of curing people?
Did being unable to save someone influence him in some way? It may just be coincidental but it's worth taking note. I'm trying to look at all possibilities.
People usually see Sohreh's note as "she learned Dottore's secret so he murdered her" But something I haven't seen discussed is how there is also a chance he trusted her and decided to open up to people more. Previously he said studying Ruinguards could get him kicked out but after the following note by Sohreh, he decided to try to convince his team to take back the ruin guard:

"...Zandik was attracted by the ancient machines left behind by some civilization here...
We had a great time and decided to go on a picnic tonight..."

Finally, to play Devil's Advocate: it seems he also had another secret mission that was never explained.

"...It's a shame that documents regarding its (the giant golem's) energy supply systems have been lost, and I have far too important a mission to accomplish to afford to start from scratch. If not..."

He could have killed her because she learned that secret but it's still weird that he'd go and choke her with people focused on him speaking about Ruinguard studies.
-- Arle SQ --
Lyney said "he proposed the direction of the research " for the bottled flames. That he wants to give people "a chance to start over" was also hinted in Time of Insight artifact. I won't be surprised if it turns out most of the injured kids he took from Crucabena are actually fine. The Eremites, which he didn't want his subordinates to kidnap, were also healthy, so this is another instance of him seeking to work with weak people to give them power. I'm NOT denying there's a chance he wants to use it for some other plan like burning the tree like other Redditors have proposed
Finally, there remains the question of which Dottore would be playable. I predict the original or Omega. (Knocking off the angelic new segment theory)
We don't know if the original is alive, since Raiden destroyed her physical body (and the segments were based on Scaramouche) he could be dead BUT giving a kill switch to Omega may have a deeper meaning. Like those fragments of his mind from dead segments will re-materialize in an empty segment or object his soul is bound to or go back to Omega and change his personality, the former sounds like FullMetal Alchemist but a Remuria quest confirms this is a thing in Genshin.
Finally done, sorry if this is ridiculously long but I wanted to provide quotes to sustain the arguments, especially since some people hate him so much based on mostly misinformation.

The normal Air Pods Gen2 are so comfortable. I have been using them for 5 years and could wear them 24/7. Unfortunately, the battery life is now less than 80 minutes. That's why I ordered the Pro 2 and have now tested them for 3 days.I hate the fact that the Air Pods pro 2 go so deep into my ears and are uncomfortable...you want to take the headphones out again all the time. Also, you always have earwax on the silicone parts, but maybe it's because I should clean my ears. But this discomfort is the main reason why I'm thinking of returning them and getting the normal Air Pods 2 again or should I get the AirPods 3 instead?

When doing a karyotype to rule out Turner's Mosaic, I have always heard that you need to look at a min of 20 cells.
Im looking at a lab report with 5 cells analyzed, 15 cells counted and 2 Karyograms prepared. Obviously none of these numbers is >20, but which one of these specifically do you need to have 20 of? What is the difference between "cells analyzed" and "cells counted"
How does the lab tech know how many cells they need to count or analyze? Is that based on the physicians order or clinical information sent with the karyotype order?
I appreciate any insight from someone experienced with this test!
