Just today you have told us about how you've discovered some things you didn't, you said it was refreshing and freeing to discover this. I was surprised, I didn't expect you to do this, I was happy for you, I encouraged you to keep that up.
Little did I know it was the cocaine talking, five hours later you sent us a photo of a wine you drank, and 40 minutes later you sent a picture from the ambulance, and little by little you told us what happened.
I kinda thought it was either this or you attempted suicide with pills and alcohol, didn't want to say it, didn't want it to be true.
I understand you're sick, that you feel lost, that you don't know how to move on from your toxic behavior, but all I want right now is drive to your hospital and give you a head smack you'll see stars.
You think I didn't have these thoughts? You think I don't have these thoughts right now? How dare you fucking doing that shit to yourself instead of fighting? I have been fighting this battle longer than you, how dare you give up?
Because if you'd die tonight I would be destroyed, because i had to keep my headspace from falling apart when I told you you need to find another place to stay after staying with me for 1.5 weeks, and I would blame myself because that's just how my brain works.

Hey all, I figure I can provide some helpful guide for the US which I find always successful and useful to achieve global dominance to achieve a victory.
So, let’s get into why, then how.
Why : an easy way at capitulating the future problems and threats will ensure that your average player can figure out how combat works and all the intricate systems through victory. The biggest rivals at the moment include ; Russia, China, and their allies which is usually Iran, Syria, and North Korea.
How : to get started, you need to solve your economic issues, this is a stopper which prevents us from waging full scale war without suffering intense economic consequences and saves you from worse outcomes of the 2008 financial crisis, which is inevitable as the US.
First, get rid of the cartels, ensure Bush is elected and lower corruption to the minimum level. These three things ensure our victory. Electing Gore will result in minimal benefits, but we’re aiming at being able to tax citizens to keep up with costs of our military which also is paid for easier due to the benefits of Bush’s party in the code.
To get rid of the cartels, you need to keep clicking focuses to raid certain locations or capture people, it helps to time the end of the decision with the decisions which improve your chances of a successful raid, like military and police support, so be sure to select what you want to do, usually the highest chance of success decision, and pair that with whatever other decision of support to end at the same time.
At the same time, if possible, save political power and use it to lower corruption in the government screen, it takes a LOT of PP, so keep saving and you’ll be okay.
After the Cartel is done, Bush is elected (try to support him in the ideologies tab by also giving him a bit more support if you don’t believe he is going to win the election, a few times should help) and corruption is lowered, your economy should be much better!
Now, be sure to increase population tax in the screen for economy until you’re earning more than you’re losing. Last time I played I believe it was 30-40% pop tax.
War time!! - With that cleared out of the way, do NOT go down the focus tree for the “War on Terror”, this will result in heavy penalties with not a lot of benefit, usually you want to go down the middle where you get a lot of breathing room.
Declare war on Iraq, and send land and air volunteers to Afghanistan, and select the western puppet president when you win. Usually you want to send transport planes to Afghanistan, you do not get enough volunteers to send a decent air force, so this should suffice! I usually send one tank brigade (no need to make them, they are already created and deployed), and a special forces unit. If you don’t have enough room you can just send special forces, and let them chip away at the Taliban until you inevitably win.
Iraq is also easy, deploy a sufficient force of Marines, Special forces and tanks / infantry, I cannot remember the specific number, but roughly half of all of your units will be enough. Cover the area in air support and air superiority fighters and you will win within a year of declaring. Be sure to PUPPET Iraq so this raises world tension and allows you to be more war-mongery.
Next, the fun part begins. This is a long haul sometimes so be patient. Keep your influence on Ukraine and only Ukraine, it will eventually allow you to puppet Ukraine, which shares the biggest closest border with Russia, one of three major enemies. When your influence is high enough, more than 70 usually, keep pushing your political party on Ukraine, until it is over 60% I believe, then you can puppet Ukraine once your influence gains back what it loses from boosting ideology in Ukraine.
Once Ukraine is puppeted, station all or most of your army there. Use most of your mills to produce infantry goods, like Manpads, anti tank weapons, and IFVS. Also be sure to prioritize supply trucks. Planes are not insanely necessary, but keep a few mills on multirole and CAS planes, which you will lose fighting Russia.
Because Russia by the time you are done with this has provoked by attacking the donbass usually, you are free to declare war on them and make sure your offensive lines are aimed at the Ural mountains behind Moscow and at Kazakhstan, because they will continue fighting till then.
While this is all happening, keep building civs, they are the most cost-efficient building and get you the most income for your building.
After the war is over, puppet Russia, and that’s the strat, yep that’s it. In-between, a few funky things can happen, but are easy to deal with ; Iran declares war, Turkey attacks Syria. So be sure to use Iraq as a landing zone to attack them before Russia on some runs, and your game will go much smoother. China is pretty easy after, as well, you can station all your troops on north China and push.

hi guys, i’m a special ed para in south jersey and my school has recently told us that paras will go from a 27.5 hour week to a 40 hour week next year and the $26 hourly wage will be reduced to $23. we will also be required to sign a yearly contract with the school which we do not currently do. this is the second para position i’ve had and i left my last school because i couldn’t live off of the $18 hourly it paid and was 40 hours and i was looking to lower my workload a bit and feel like im gonna end up right back in the position i started in.
what are the wages like out there at other schools for special ed para positions ??? when i started in january $26 was the highest paying para position i could find around but now im thinking about looking for other schools out there. am i crazy for thinking i can find better than $23 ???
also the new contract offers health insurance and im on my parents insurance for the next two years but if i settle down at this school i have to keep things like this in mind for the future ( no buy-out if you opt out of insurance though )
don’t get me wrong i love my school, the teachers i work with and the kids we have. but this job is hard enough without admin showing us how little they value our hard work !!!!! it’s been absolutely terrible for morale and most of my coworkers are also looking elsewhere and if i stay and everyone else goes i have to work through 3 times the understaffing we have now which is already not great.
any advice anyone has is appreciated but it also just feels good to be able to vent about it with other people who know how hard and thankless this job already is without someone telling you to do more work for less pay or get lost :/

I understand there’s guides and all, and I have looked over them, watched videos and everything but some of the systems really stump me.
I did the tutorial, then when I took Ethiopia I started a new one as Italy without the tutorial to try and replicate it. Had some trouble but eventually took the land, but I forgor to put troops down there and along the border for later on when I declared war against the Swiss so I lost it all. That’s fine, Germany is kicking ass and USA has 55% fascism, hoping to convert them, but I really don’t get how to optimize supply and production. That’s the thing I feel like I have the most trouble with. For instance when France joined that war they nearly took my capital despite me having like 40-50 divisions, 500 planes all in Italy trying to prevent their advance. It’s mid 1940 and I was able to take my land back and eventually take Switzerland with the help of Germany. France capitulated but I feel like I’m better off just giving Germany my divisions and letting them do it for me. Which is what I did after Germany took Paris. Perhaps not the most fun way to play but I’m just nonstop having production and supply issues even though I’m in my country fighting. Just wondering if y’all have any tips. Considering just going to Brazil next game and chilling to try and understand how to optimize troops, supply, etc. I don’t get the navy at all but I’m going to watch a navy tutorial later.
I’m very new to the game but I have around 500 hours on CK3 so I at least picked up the bare minimum as far as basics, I just don’t get how to optimize things.
Also, if I get a new weapon technology, how do I know my troops are being outfitted with that? Rather than the old.

if i open up the SUP properties and turn off the bottom 2 maint tasks, there are no more erorrs with that specific component.

I went through and performed a manual cleanup on the SUSDB, which did remove 30k updates

Flipped those 2 checkboxes back on under maintenance and that's when the error popped up again.... Rebooted the WSUS box, and forced a sync from SCCM, error came back

got a funky one that's been ongoing for a bit, would be grateful for any pointers or help on this one!
SMS_WSUS_SYNC_MANAGER is giving the following errors
- ConfigMgr failed to connect to SUSDB and could not delete obselete updates
- ConfigMgr failed to connect to SUSDB and could not add custom indexes
- You can see below where i turned on those 2 checkboxes again...
if i open up the SUP properties and turn off the bottom 2 maint tasks, there are no more erorrs with that specific component.

I went through and performed a manual cleanup on the SUSDB, which did remove 30k updates

Flipped those 2 checkboxes back on under maintenance and that's when the error popped up again.... Rebooted the WSUS box, and forced a sync from SCCM, error came back
went to the management point and looked at Wsyncmgr.log and does show a few errors when trying to connect to the SQL/WSUS box

I started my photography journey nearly 15 years ago on Canon with a 450D, a nifty fifty and a Tamron 17-40 f2.8. Like many newcomers, it didn’t take long for GAS to set in and I went through a 50D, a 70D, a 6D, a 7D and a 5DMkIII as well as a full compliment of L glass and Sigma Art Primes.
After close to a decade of dragging around DSLRs and big, heavy lenses, I had a chance to play around with a (newly released at the time) X-T2. I quickly bought one, along with the 23mm f1.4 and the 56mm f1.2. I also eventually bought (and almost immediately sold) the 16mm f1.4.
After getting out of commercial event and sports photography and focussing purely on boudoir and portraiture, I sold all of my Canon gear and added an X-T4 to my Fuji kit about a month after they released.
Fast forward a few years and after becoming jaded working with models in a regional area of Australia, I sold all of my Fuji gear and had decided to take a break from taking photos.
Then Fuji dropped the X100vi and after seeing some amazing images and playing with a friend’s X100V, I decided to dip my toe back into taking pictures purely for my own enjoyment. I was super lucky to be able to buy an X100vi pretty much immediately and I’ve finally got it set up in a way that makes me excited to use it and I take it with me everywhere.
That’s my photography story, I’d love to hear what the journey has been like for you.
