so in my world, i have people living on a planet that is super humid and hot and there would be constant rainstorms. i was struggling with how to dress the people, i wanted if you guys have some cool examples in history of how people dressed in hot weather? it can be armor or just everyday clothes!
some examples that come to mind are a lot of southeast asian and aztec clothing and armor. i think i just want to draw inspiration from them and kinf of design some sort of hybrid between that and medieval armor.

In about 5 months I am looking to move back to Texas. Currently I have a fire sprinkler design position and have held this role for almost 2 years. The thing is though I kind of hate it, I really dislike sitting in front of a computer 9+ hours a day drawing little dots and lines. What I do like is the field of work I’m in, I think fire protection is cool as shit.
So here’s my question.
Do yall think it would be worth it to try and switch roles and start off at an entry level position again. Or would I be better off sticking with it.

- Fighter - interacts well with the critical hit system and feels customizable and fun.
- Monk - interacts super well with the 3 action economy
- Kineticist - get cool powers without needed to use Vancian spellcasting, also a relatively original idea.
- Thaumaturge - awesome flavor, feels like you want it to feel while playing
- Ranger - similar to fighter but with more specific flavor
- Magus - actually fusing attacks with spells is awesome
- Summoner - designing your own eidolon is awesome

I have always been intrigued by the power on python and all the cool things is can do. I worked with AutoCAD and 3D Mechanical design for 13 years doing drafting and design work. I took a 3 month full stack developer bootcamp (it was too fast paced and they touched on a lot of bits and pieces but nothing concrete, I didn't like it).
Fast forward to now I am wanting to get a fulltime job as a Python Developer, should I get a CS degree, should I take a course online, what can I do to reach this goal?
I see tons of things online but its hard to pick one, or what can actually land me a job.

2024.05.21 17:37 OldScruff Has the Framework 16 experience been a huge letdown for you, or is it just me?
After waiting over half a year for my Framework 16 to finally get here, and after using it for the past 2 weeks as my daily driver I can't help but say that I'm a bit underwhelmed by the whole experience and the Framework laptop itself. The overall stability/driver maturity of the device, as well as the build quality have me feeling more like a glorified beta tester than the owner of a cutting-edge and well-designed premium product.
Look, don't get me wrong as I love what the Framework team is trying to do here, as the modularity of the device is a breath of fresh air in a world in which right-to-repair and upgrade capability is dying a slow and painful death.
But for a device I spent over $2200 of cash on after taxes, it simply does not feel like a $2200 product or premium piece of electronics hardware for that matter. The build quality simply feels cheap. Somewhere between the mushy keyboard, the trackpad layout and uneven spacers it employs (Why couldn’t they just sell a non-modular one-piece trackpad as an alternative?), the underwhelming screen (this has to be one of the least vibrant IPS panels I’ve used in a long time) and the tinny/near-silent speakers I feel like I’m using a cheaper $1200 Thinkpad from 2016 and not the future of modular laptops.
I could forgive most of things and accept these caveats as the cost of adding modularity and upgradability/repairability for a gen1 product, if the software-side of things were a pain-free experience. But unfortunately, they are not and this laptop has been nothing but a buggy mess of a device. Despite having updated to the lastest drivers, BIOS, and others and trying out 2 distinct installs of Windows 11, the so-called ‘hot-swappable’ nature of the modular ports work correctly about 50% of the time. I have seen this computer hard lockup, blue screen, or simply become completely unresponsive from say simply swapping one port on the side from a USB-C to a USB-A or Ethernet more often than not. Sometimes it works fine, sometimes it crashes, and other times it doesn’t crash but the specific port stops working altogether which warrants a reboot.
On top of that, on a pretty much daily basis I have been seeing some sort of catastrophic USB event in which all or most USB devices connected to the laptop either crash or disappear, which only a full reboot of windows will resolve. This has lead to multiple issues while on conference calls in Teams/Zooms, in which my audio stops working and I have no idea that it’s actually not that the meeting has gone quiet but that the laptop has stopped working, as my USB headset/mic will still show as connected/working, they just will not actually be and either a meeting restart or reboot of the laptop is needed to clear it up.
Could these issues be quite easily resolved through a driver update, bug fix or similar? Absolutely! Do I have the time and patience to go off on a deep-dive troubleshooting escapade for a device that I just started using with a fresh install that should simply work out of the box? Absolutely not, especially when considering that the same hardware in terms of audio, USB devices, etc all has worked and continue to work flawlessly on my older Thinkpad laptop.
At this point, I’m thinking that between the value and the build quality it just doesn’t make sense to keep the Framework 16 at least at the current price point, for the subpar hardware and software this first generation is providing. The fact of the matter is, that you can get identical hardware to the F16 at around the $1100 range, which wasn’t quite the case when I pre-ordered it almost a year ago. I’m okay with paying a small premium for modularity, but I don’t think it’s worth doubling the price of the device or paying another $1100 for the privilege of being able to do so, as for that amount of money I could just buy 2 laptops and have a ‘hot spare’ to handle every single possible hardware failure I might experience in the next 5 years. If the Framework 16 was priced at around the $1300-1400 mark, I think it would make a lot more sense to most people. As it stands right now though, it’s at a hefty premium to be a gen1 early adopter because that’s simply how economies of scale work.
Has anyone else had a similar experience and is debating if it's just worth returning the laptop and going to something different in the same price range? I mean, if I’m going to spend $2200 on a laptop I might as well have a dedicated OLED screen, discrete GPU, and aluminum frame for that kind of cost, modularity be damned.
I have high hopes that a few years down the road, when the Framework 16 gen2 or gen3 is out, that most of these build quality and value issues can be resolved. But I can’t afford to be an early adoptebeta tester for a laptop which will be my daily driver for work as I need something that’s reliable and dependable. If this was a true Gen1 early adopter device, like the first gen Framework 13 I could forgive them, but this is their 3rd time around the block releasing hardware-- build-quality/reliability issues should be sorted out by now I'd hope.

 | Before immediately shutting this post down and lighting your torches and pitchforks, allow me to explain my reasoning first – if possible. submitted by _SthWicked_ to destiny2 [link] [comments] Hi everyone, just like most of you, I am D2 player with thousands of hours (timewastedondestiny says I am a top 2% player) sunk into the game, most of it with absolute pleasure. Just like all of you, I want to contribute to this game in order to help make it even better, flashier, more populated and ludicrously infinitely more fun. Since its inception and implementation just before the launch of Forsaken, Gambit was hailed as the ‘new core activity’ in destiny next to strikes (nightfalls) and crucible (trials, IB and comp.). The PvEvP hybrid game mode was clearly popular enough, not only because it was ‘the new thing’ but because (in my opinion) brought something new to the table – something we had never had in the game before. The type of novelty that we have been seeing with the likes of Deep Dives, Altars of Summoning or The Coil. All three activities designed to be played over and over again with some semblance of aleatory encounters and randomization, however due to them being tied to a (normally) 3-month period season, once the season they’re associated with ends, the population takes a hit – now this may be rectified with the episodes but that is not the main point I like to discuss here. Gambit had potential, someone somewhere in the design floor had a vision – they even gave us Prime which introduced rolls and class-based playstyle (albeit flawed *coughs in Invader Overshield) into the mode. The mode still held certain value with the developers that they designed a memento for it as well. Iron Banner doesn’t have one – neither does normal Strikes. Trials, Special Events and Grandmaster NFs are the activities with mementos – as well as gambit. We also know that the Dreaming City Gambit map (Cathedral of Stars [apologies if I make a mistake for the name]) is coming back to the game, as well Lucent Hive and Shadow Cabal as new enemy types, no words on Dread as I presume when those decisions were being made, Dread didn’t exist [or was redacted on purpose] – so there is clearly some budget being taken into voice work, animations, development etc. While you have the attention on this game mode, why not do more? We, as guardians, are the absolute killing machines and the most OP versions of ourselves now, so the Gambit Prime set bonuses issues, for example, can be [subjectively] navigated, i.e. Invader Shield with under over weapons. Unless Onslaught is going to replace Gambit (or alternate) in TFS, I would humbly ask to give us gambit lovers one more chance – this mode has potential, put special loot in in it, put a hard mode in it with possible adept drops, design maps using the magnificent new tiles and tools like dynamic weather. Destiny is a shared-world shooter with close to zero competition – every other game wants to be a pale imitation and often fails, Gambit is a game mode that doesn’t exist in this shape and form in any other game, you, Bungie, are currently walking on massive W’s – if you think what I am discussing here holds merit and value, give us something new, something green. Also, The Drifter is a very cool character. Also Also, the IX. The people reading this may now take aim and signal the firing squad. I really like Gambit. Hey there! I've been reading through this sub for a bit, and thought I'd give it a shot.
Past:
I graduated in 2018 with a BS in Biology, minors in Chemistry and Social Science. I originally wanted to be an MD, but couldn't afford it at the time. I had a pharmacy technician certification, and have been using it ever since. Unfortunately due to recent health circumstances, I'm no longer able to hold retail positions as the physical strain significantly impacted the rest of my life; for one 8hr shift, I would require at least 2 full days of rest for the inflammation in my joints to calm. This means anything going forward must be remote or sedentary.
Current: I've been researching pivoting into tech careers, and heard mixed sentiments: available certifications don't really get you in the door, pivoting is difficult to land without major experience, etc etc. I considered Project Management for a while, as I prefer to be a generalist, hopping from interest to interest. I got the two starter Scrum certifications: PSM-I and CSM, took the Google Project Management course, and am casually studying for the CAPM. All this has taught me is that I really don't like the responsibility and stress of project management, but I think I could be good at it. Maybe I'm not giving it enough chance, or maybe by continuing I'm falling for the sunk-cost fallacy.
Future Goals: Very high salary and career achievement isn't a significant priority. I don't have many needs, am minimalist, and only need to support myself and my cat. I have no debts. I don't want children, however with the cost of living how it is, I know it's imperative I eventually be making at or above $100k USD for future goals. I'd like to eventually make enough to be able to take care of my aging parents(60s) who have adopted my estranged brother's child (5yo). Although my ideal lifestyle would be to save/invest enough to fund building a family compound, I know this is a stretch.
Target lifestyle:
What I need help with most is to sort through all the possibilities and narrow down potential options. I've looked at a lot: Data analysis, UX/UI design, Project management, AI&Machine learning, SEO and digital marketing, java developer, QA engineering, COMPTIA certs, cybersecurity, pen testing, AWS, cloud engineering, database admin...it's a long list that goes on, and I'm having trouble figuring out something that will fit.
I wish apprenticeships and shadowing were still available options. I feel like I don't have a good conceptual understanding of what each position/training stack entails, its difficulty level, and how it would fit into my goals, so I can't make an informed choice. Experience in each would help me determine that, but I don't have that kind of time.
Any other non-tech but remote suggestions are also welcome! Perspective would really be helpful. Thanks all!

I had a pharmacy technician certification, and have been using it ever since. Unfortunately due to recent health circumstances, I'm no longer able to hold retail positions as the physical strain significantly impacted the rest of my life; for one 8hr shift, I would require at least 2 full days of rest for the inflammation in my joints to calm. This means anything going forward must be remote or sedentary.
Current: I've been researching pivoting into tech careers, and heard mixed sentiments: available certifications don't really get you in the door, pivoting is difficult to land without major experience, etc etc. I considered Project Management for a while, as I prefer to be a generalist, hopping from interest to interest. I got the two starter Scrum certifications: PSM-I and CSM, took the Google Project Management course, and am casually studying for the CAPM. All this has taught me is that I really don't like the responsibility and stress of project management, but I think I could be good at it. Maybe I'm not giving it enough chance, or maybe by continuing I'm falling for the sunk-cost fallacy.
Future Goals: Very high salary and career achievement isn't a significant priority. I don't have many needs, am minimalist, and only need to support myself and my cat. I have no debts. I don't want children, however with the cost of living how it is, I know it's imperative I eventually be making at or above $100k USD for future goals. I'd like to eventually make enough to be able to take care of my aging parents(60s) who have adopted my estranged brother's child (5yo). Although my ideal lifestyle would be to save/invest enough to fund building a family compound, I know this is a stretch.
Target lifestyle:
- Presently, I'd like to travel; ideal suggestions are careers that can be remote.
- I'd like to settle down on some land to take care of aging parents/family eventually, but it isn't a current priority - only a future consideration.
- The thing I most enjoyed about university was putting together studying materials and organizing/ leading study groups (I've considered knowledge management, database management, but unsure of viability/suitability to goals).
- I don't want to deal with customers - no sales.
- I enjoyed creating small automation flows with MS Power Automate
- I have no coding experience, but am willing to learn: things on my potential list are Python, SQL, Javascript, R.
- I work well in environments where I have autonomy to creatively problem-solve and think outside the box, but with expectations and goals that are clearly defined.
- I don't want to stress too much, or take home work with me. Honestly, I don't want to work for corporate anything - I hate it. But my physical restrictions are more limiting, so here we are.
- I really like product management and coming up with cool solutions/new methods/combining existing things to make something new - but the field seems pretty vague in its requirements.
What I need help with most is to sort through all the possibilities and narrow down potential options. I've looked at a lot: Data analysis, UX/UI design, Project management, AI&Machine learning, SEO and digital marketing, java developer, QA engineering, COMPTIA certs, cybersecurity, pen testing, AWS, cloud engineering, database admin...it's a long list that goes on, and I'm having trouble figuring out something that will fit.
I wish apprenticeships and shadowing were still available options. I feel like I don't have a good conceptual understanding of what each position/training stack entails, its difficulty level, and how it would fit into my goals, so I can't make an informed choice. Experience in each would help me determine that, but I don't have that kind of time.
Any other non-tech but remote suggestions are also welcome! Perspective would really be helpful. Thanks all!

I have no connection to this product, it just came up in my feed and I thought it looked cool. It's basically like if you took just the display off a Neo and made it a standalone, BT-connected accessory. No need to mod a keyboard, you just bring whatever keyboard you like and use it with the separate display. It makes SO much more sense to me then something like the Freewrite. (Which, don't get me wrong, I'm sorely tempted by, but don't think I could ever justify purchasing.)
I think it said the price point is projected to be around ~$150, and you can "lock in" a lower price if you reserve a spot. Or something. (Like I said, I'm not affiliated, I just read over their page quickly.) According to the discussion page, they're hoping to launch the funding over the summer with a goal of shipping in time for Christmas. That's a lot of "hoping," "goals," and hypotheticals, but I for one am pretty interested - I think it looks great!

I've got a new party, and it's a... challenging one for sure. I've got 2 casters and one martial... a redeemer champion, who wants to only use her shield. Super cool concept, I went through and got her equipped with a shield boss and the Everstand Stance from Knights of Lastwall... but I can forsee some issues coming in the future.
We've already decided that if the shield breaks, she can still beat people with the broken pieces, and the boss will be fine even if the defensive part of the shield needs replacing. But we are still looking at a concept that is going to need some assistance, since she is the sole frontline, she is gonna need to bruise and defend a bit.
I'm familiar with the math, and I'm okay breaking it a bit to make this happen, but would like to keep her within a levelish of the party. I am thinking I should design things with more close quarters as well, tight spaces she can get in the way of enemies and grapple/bonk/be a nuisance. Also considering poaching from guardian to make a "relic shield" or something that gives her some more abilities. However, the player can get overwhelmed by options, so making things "always on" can be helpful - any tips for me as a GM to try and make this character idea sing?

Added: -Board $32 (including shipping) -Small Fan Behind Monitor. 2$ - Comments: it seemed like my monitor would get hotter then the actual board. Screwed it in-between the case and the board & just tightened the m2 spacers. -Powerbank. $10 - Comments: was laying around and bonus feature it has a on and off button to turn the board on and off (board doesn’t have one attached) -3 Key Keyboard. $4- Comments: Not functional, just looks cool 😎 (to me). Have to install drivers and attach usb-c to get it working. -Wireless Keyboard Mouse. $5- Comments: Not attached, but does it job and portable. -Wireless Antenna Dongle. $8- Comments: the board comes with a onboard Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, but the Wi-Fi is trash. So I added a cheap Wi-Fi dongle that is compatible with Linux. I also like the way it makes the deck look. -HDMI Chord. $3- Comment: Might solder chord to make it shorter -3.5in Monitor $16- Comment: It gets powered from the GPIO pins and uses mini HDMI to HDMI for video/audio. Great size for the deck in my opinion. -Case 5$- Comment: Attached it with double sided sticky tape to power bank. Additional Notes. I attached the onboard Wi-Fi/Bluetooth antenna to the other Wi-Fi single with double sided Velcro. Future: Would like to add a strap and a trackball or trackpad. I think those additional features along with the 3 key keyboard will allow me to get rid of the mouse and keyboard. I added the prices just cause but not everything included shipping. So give or take a few $. Let me know what you think. Final note: usbc on the bottom is just underneath to help keep it from tilted a small weight at the bottom could put everything in perfect balance. I want to start by saying I love this game. I am posting this bc I want to see it thrive. I know this topic has to have been ran into the ground on this subreddit but I wanted to open a discussion to help me understand where we as players stand on the topic right now. Firstly, I apologize to all the people I thought were exaggerating about late endless runs being horrible before this point. With my recent return to the game and shiny weekend I decided to do my first endless run and it is a major success. I have a tinkaton/kartana fusion and a lvl 7500 salt cure leech seed protect metal burst garganacl and I have SSS luck on floor 1500ish. I legitimately dont think I can lose the run unless I just get tired of it.... segway into why I am tired of it lmao. The status and endure tokens NEED to be reworked or taken out of the game imo. As a competitive pokemon player I have always hated sleep and freeze because I think any mechanic that just stops you from playing the game is dumb and here in endless I get slept or frozen 85% of the time I am hit. So I have just quickly thought of a few ways I think it could be remedied.
First and foremost, just fix the lum berry so it works like it does in actual pokemon games. In mainline games lum berry activates as soon as you are statused whereas in pokerogue the berry priorities are all the same meaning it doesnt happen until everyone has taken their turn. I am sure that this was to make coding berries easier but tbh more berries activate immediately once the requirements are met than berries that activate at the end of the turn. Take stat boosting berries and the Super Effective berries, those all activate immediately once you hit 25% HP or are hit by a SE attack respectively. The only post turn berries are the healing ones. I think fixing when all the berries are supposed to proc would change ALOT. Im even down for a berry pouch nerf to balance this out if needed.
Second things, get rid of being able to randomly encounter boss battles outside of the 10s floors. Maybe after floor 1000 you run into a boss every five floors, but having 5 boss battles in 10 floors makes this unbearable at some points. Boss bars paired with endure and status tokens is what actually makes it really annoying. I can deal with non boss pokemon really really easily. This also opens up to more strategy around having a designated boss carry and a faster strong hitter to take out the non boss mons rather than just having the same ole boring 2 strats everyone is forced to run late game.
At the end of the day people play endless to hunt shinies, legendaries, and hidden abilities. It shouldnt be this much of a pain by floor 1500 to do all of that. Endless should be about making cool unique pokemon to run the game with, making cool fusions no one else has done. Using your favorite pokemon in a unique way etc etc. But bc of how the game is setup right now it just feels tedious and none of that is possible. I hope we can all try to help the devs think of ways to fix these issues for players.

The show started off pretty well with a first episode that did manage to catch my attention and get me interested in the world. I got pretty heavy FLCL vibes from it given the focus on adolescence, the sexual undertones and innuendos, etc. However, whereas FLCL had a legitimate plot and was enjoyable to watch, I found many episodes of Listeners downright disorienting and difficult to sit through.
The pacing and narrative are really all over the place with characters coming in and out of the story at random, overt rock and roll/drug references that are beat over your head every damn episode and an extremely confusing overarching story. After watching the entire series, I probably know as much about the series as someone who’s only read the MAL synopsis.
Despite the awful pacing, storytelling and overdone pop culture references, Listeners is rather impressive technically. Some decent CGI scenes, cool character designs, beautiful art and a pretty cool soundtrack. Unfortunately the consistency of its art was not shared by its story. As a result, for only the 6th time in my life, I would have to advise against watching this one.

I personally would rate it a 6 overall with some episodes like Teen Spirit being closer to the 7-8 range. The ending definitely was rushed but the music and the concept to me make it so much more than what was actually executed. It did leave a lot to be desired but I think that was partially the intent too. The audience doesn't know what's really going on because neither do the characters. I ngl thought sica would look the exact same as her portrait because they portrayed her with a serious look on her face and a specific pose which made me wanna buy her but what I didn't know is that she has a ponytail and she pretty much does not look like her portrait. Her skin tone doesn't match and neither does her facial structure, her facial expression is just her smiling. And her skirt just stretches all over the place when i emote and it's hella weird. Yeah, it disappointed me, but I still bought her because maybe one day fortnite will do a rework on her. But no matter what I'll still use her because I wanted the skin really bad. The design is cool, she just wasn't what I expected. Would be nice if fortnite reworks her and makes an edit where she doesn't have a ponytail.

- Support : smoke and flashbang grenade are also very good option

With F1 24 being announced and being copy and paste again (basically just an F1 23 DLC at this point), I thought I'd write this post to maybe, just maybe, help (in any way) the next future F1 games become more realistic, which I think should be the main goal of these games (and also to express my deep disapointment with how the series is going).
Before we begin: this is completely based on my opinion, you don't need to agree with me, specially because I know some stuff may be considered completely delusional, as EA would never implement these things. With that out of the way, it's light out and away we go.
Here are additions/ideas that would turn the F1 game into an incredible experience:

With F1 24 being announced and being copy and paste again (basically just an F1 23 DLC at this point), I thought I'd write this post to maybe, just maybe, help (in any way) the next future F1 games become more realistic, which I think should be the main goal of these games (and also to express my deep disapointment with how the series is going).
Before we begin: this is completely based on my opinion, you don't need to agree with me, specially because I know some stuff may be considered completely delusional, as EA would never implement these things. With that out of the way, it's light out and away we go.
Here are additions/ideas that would turn the F1 game into an incredible experience:
- Cooldown lap and pit lane control: they're kinda the same thing (to an extent) so that's why it's just one topic. It would be very fun to actually drive in the cooldown lap and park the car in the pits, as well as drive the car through the pit lane as we make our stops or serve penalties. It's not something hard to implement, and you could also make it with the option to turn them off, so everyone gets to play the way they want. It would also add realism with stuff such as unsafe release penalties.
- Custom liveries: I cannot stress this enough. Why not let players customize their own liveries and share with the community? This would add a whole new layer to customization and replayability, as we already have in Need for Speed (which is also from EA) and Gran turismo for example. Not hard to do but given the game's history I guess we're not getting this one so soon.
- Preseason testing: this would be very interesting. It could be something like free practice, but bigger. It would help the R&D development before the season actually started, so you could (or not) have a better car. It would also be optional in the career settings.
- Contracts: they do need an overhaul as soon as possible. Driver academies don't actually mean anything. You can literally be a Ferrari academy driver and join Red Bull from the get go, it doesn't make any sense. We need something like IRL, where a team would preferably sign a driver from its own academy. Also there is no performance measurement, it says that "Red Bull expect their drivers to fight for the podium", but even if you don't do this, you can't be fired. I won't even start on the 6 month contract period. Also as a member of a certain team driver academy, it would be very fun to participate in F1 sessions when in F2, to get experience and also boost your image (acclaim, as it's called).
- Custom calendar: another element of replayability and creativity. Let us make a season with many races as we want, in any track order we'd like. A season starting in Abu Dhabi and ending in Australia, for example, would be very fun. It adds variety to the game and makes it so players can keep enjoying career and MyTeam modes without get bored with the same format.
- New tracks: Sepang, Hockenheim, Jerez, India, Korea, Istambul Park... the list goes on. New tracks (not actually new, but you get the idea), combined with custom calendar would make for infinite possibilities in both career and MyTeam. EA can even add them as a DLC post launch if they want to. Another brilliant addition concerning tracks would be different layouts, such as Sakhir outer ring, or even different versions for the tracks as an option, such as pre 2003 Barcelona, for example.
- MyTeam car model: the car model stays the same for all 10 seasons of your MyTeam journey, without a single modification. As the seasons go on, your car gets progressively faster, but it LOOKS exactly the same. R&D improvements don't reflect in the car model at all. It would be nice to have a customizable car, where you can actually change the design to improve aero or brake cooling. IRL we had teams looking to reproduce what Red Bull made with the RB19, and that is a great example of how things could be in game: as the regulations change, different models become better than others, and as you progress with R&D, your car can get closer to what would be the fastest aero design. Minor cosmetic things like different steering wheel models would also be very nice.
- Improved AI: we know that we need better AI behaviour when racing and fighting for position, but the problem goes way beyond that. The AI makes ZERO mistakes in free practice and qualifying, so you can never experience events such as IRL when someone crashes in qualifying and a red flag can decide an unlikely pole sitter. There is also a very old problem that needs to be addressed: the AI doesn't know how to behave in practice when you want to let it overtake you. It just sits there by your side until you decide to go and then follows you. There are no penalties for blocking/impeding in both practice and qualifying.
- MyTeam engine owner: I've seen many people asking for this one and I agree, it would be very fun to have our own engine and be able to supply it to other teams. At the beginning it would be inferior to other engines, but with the possibility of becoming the best later on. We would also be able to supply our engine to other teams and make more money out of that partnership.
- Regulation changes and loopholes: regulation changes (and R&D as a whole) should be more complex than just redeveloping some parts (also because eventually you have so much points that it doesn't even matter anymore). Also loopholes would be an interesting addition, like the DAS system or the F duct (not these exact mechanics, but something like that). They could work as a new development that is so OP that FIA needs to judge whether it's legal or not and whether it will be banned immeadiately or in next season. Any team can develop a loophole, including the AI.
- Crashes: remember when Williams gave Sargeant's car to Albon and he was unable to race? Well this is an extreme example but what if we had something similar in the game? If you crash the car (not minor wall taps, I mean big shunts) the team should take time to fix it and in some cases you may not have the car completely fixed for qualifying, for example (if you happen to crash in FP3). Also big crashes could cause the driver to step away due to injuries and let the reserve driver take his place (this also means that you can now hire a reserve driver in MyTeam).
- Interviews: the interviews are a joke at the moment, they don't even ask questions of things that actually happened during the race (or session), they are random and completely basic. We need questions concerning crashes, race pace, qualifying, post race interview based on how high you finished, market specutalations, etc. The possibilities here are endless.
- Radio and team orders: at the moment the radio is basically useless. The engineer only speaks when you gain/lose a position or when you're near your pit stop. We need more active communication, where he informs us on opponent's pace, our pace, track limits, strategy discussion, and speacially: team orders. It would be very interesting to have our teammate hold someone for us to pull away, give us toe in qualifying, or stay in DRS range for us not to get overtaken. With that said, I think the first issue that needs to be addressed as soon as possible is the pit stop: our teammate ALWAYS double stack and fucks his own strategy. There should be a way to prevent that from happening through communication.
- Formula 2: starting your career in F2 is fun and add realism, but it could go beyond that. Competing in the F2 championship helps you get a seat in F1, depending on your performance: if you perform well you're more likely to get a seat, but if you don't, you may even need to stay for one more season. Also, if you choose not to start in F2, an option could be to have an F1 car test: you would drive a certain team's car and try to impress them, if you do well, you get a seat.

This is coming to all of us. There is nothing AI can't do within a few years. Even if it can't interface easily with different systems/software I'm sure they'll bridge that short term gap by simply hooking up an AI agent to take keyboard and mouse control of a laptop to do anything a human can do.
