Unsurprisingly this comment was censored elsewhere, so I am trying it here.
My hypothesis is that Freud's patients, who were mainly wealthy women in arranged marriages, did not find their husbands attractive. Modern life backs this up: as soon as women began to have opportunity to break away from societal restrains surrounding sex, they virtually all display sexual hypergamy: this appears to be a biological fact, which was restrained by virtually every society. It is not a surprise that virtually every society independently came up with rules surrounding sex and curbed female sexual freedom to at least some degree: it must be that these societies recognized the biological sexual hypergamy and the threats it could pose to society. Since radical 4rth wave feminism was implemented in the modern West about a decade ago we have seen how Western civilization has suddenly began its demise. In about 10 years, 1000s of years of civilization have been undone.
Back to Freud's patients: again, they were upper class wealthy women in arranged marriages, and so by virtue of simple statistics, since there are only so many highly attractive men, the majority of these women did not find their husbands attractive, but could not openly talk about this due to societal restrains. This gap caused distress, which then manifested in hysteria. That is why when they were able to do talk therapy and get out their repressed thoughts, their physical symptoms of hysteria were reduced. In addition, it is pretty much a fact that women are much more sensitive to guilt (my hypothesis for this is: as the physically weaker sex, women are more dependent on society for survival, so are more sensitive to acting anti-social, which is what guilt helps stop) than men (and due to the societal restraints they likely felt ashamed for wanting better than their husbands), and so this likely also played a part in creating a disconnect so strong that it caused neurological symptoms.

I had no idea of the cases below when I made this hypothesis. My hypothesis was based on: a) most of his patients were upper class/wealthy women b) most had unexplained neurological/physical symptoms c) sexuality was at least partially a theme in most cases. I combined that with the observed sexual behavior of women I see today, as well as my observed theme of women being much more sensitive of guilt and shame compared to men.
But I just skimmed the cases and found some support for my hypothesis:
There were 5 women with case studies. 1 of them (Anna O.) does not appear to fit the pattern of my hypothesis, but she was not mainly treated by Freud, rather, by Breuer. Though it appears that the whole "penis envy" thing largely stemmed from her case. In summary, she appeared to have resentment over her brother, because she was smart but was not given the same academic opportunities due to being a girl. However, I can't seem to find anything about her sexual life.

is it possible to roll out an upgrade for GlobalProtect but prevent the upgrade from disrupting an active VPN connection? i know there are multiple ways to upgrade GlobalProtect, but it seems like they all result in the user's VPN connection getting dropped as the upgrade isn't smart enough to see that a VPN is enabled. We've tried

1. upgrading from the Palo Alto - this seems to happen immediately and without warning.
   
2. upgrading from our custom patch solution (SolarWinds Patch Manager). the moment the computer detects that it can install the new GlobalProtect, it installs without checking to see if the VPN is already connected. this causes the PanGPA process to stop while the upgrade occurs. This also fails if the user is VPN connected because they lose their connection to the Patch Manager product when the VPN drops which prevents the install from completing (but the old version is already uninstalled so the user is hosed).

Hello! Just wanted a bit of feedback for an entry level tournament (branded as beginner friendly if you don’t mind losing). This will be my first tournament ever, having only played a few games in 9th edition.
I was planning to hold the crisis battlesuits behind then deepstrike later with the commanders to make use of the Kauyon abilities. Using the tankier riptide and ghostkeels along with troops for objectives.
Edit: I’m not after a list that would win every game, but still want to give my opponents a good enough fight to make it worth-wile for them playing someone slightly newer.

All names have been changed but I did get permission from the bride and groom, and the bride's brother to post this story.
This was 2 years ago but I can still remember that day very well. Let me start by saying I'm not really sociable and I'm usually very awkward because of my insecurities with my body and mental health which have greatly improved but still comes up every now and then. Cath - the bride in this story - is my best friend and one of the sweetest girls I know since HS. She's kind, very pretty, very athletic, and smart but she was never a bitch or a bully.
Her family is also wonderful, and her husband - still fiancé during this story - is also a wonderful man, Nathan. I'm so happy for her and they deserve each other. Nathan's family is also like Cath's family - they're nice, lovable, and despite their wealth, they're very lowkey about it. 99% of Nathan's family is nice, except for his younger sister, Ana, who is the same age as me and Cath. Nathan is 5 years older than us, and he and Cath met through Cath's brother, Leo. Leo is the same age as Nathan, and is very similar to Cath in terms of popularity, and he's also very handsome - I describe him as handsome and tall that is always smiling and greenest flag male lead in romance novels - so yes, I've had a huge crush on Leo since Day 1, which Cath cannot believe that I had a crush on her brother. Safe to say, other girls like him too including Ana. Ana has been very open about her crush on Leo; and I would admire her for that if she wasn't a bitch to every other who likes Leo too. She bullied whoever she found fancied Leo and even went out of her way to ruin his dates with any girl he went out with. Leo has always been firm and straightforward in telling Ana that what she was doing was out of line, and he has multiple times expressed that he does not have feelings for her and her behavior was not making him like her. I knew all of this because Leo got shit drunk one time while I was hanging out at their family home and he accidentally spilled his stress about her with me and Cath. Cath got enraged and called Nathan, and Nathan's family were horrified about Ana's behavior that they actually cut her off financially for 3 years.
Well, the week before the wedding, Ana's parents decided that maybe she has finally learned her lesson because she has mellowed and gave her a bit of financial support and this triggered Ana's bitchy attitude again. She would be mean to Cath during wedding preparation, be a pick me girl whenever she hangs out with us, and worse, make fun of my weight. Don't get me wrong, even I make jokes every now and then and I can take some digs towards me but to constantly hear them every single time I see her has become exhausting and has driven my anxiety to new heights. Cath always called her out for this but she didn't stop and always brushed it off as a joke until Cath decided it was enough and told Nathan about Ana's behavior towards me. Nathan reprimanded Ana and threatened that to tell their parents her behavior and risk another financial disownment unless she apologized to me. Ana begrudgingly apologized and has stayed clear of me every since.
That was until the wedding. The day before the wedding, something traumatic happened to me so I wasn't really in the best mood during the wedding. Cath was so worried about me that I actually started to feel bad that she was fussing over me instead of focusing on herself for her day. Leo picked up on Cath's worried gazes on me and my shitty mood that he told Cath he would stay with me during the entire wedding to help me get through any difficult moments. Both Cath and I agreed (I mean yeah, I wouldn't pass a moment to spend with Leo) and so Leo and I were constantly together during the wedding ceremony and reception. We were always in the same group of conversations, same area of the venue, and we were having fun. I think Ana saw this and did not like it. Halfway through the reception, Leo left our table to pick up a phone call and I was left alone for a while. I didn't mind it because the party mood was just so lively and I felt great that I've been doing well without any anxiety attacks. Ana saw that as an opportunity to strut to our table with her other bitchy cousins and picked a fight with me. No I'm not kidding, there was no warning, no preempt actions, just went to my table, picked up a glass of water and splashed it on my face. I was stunned to react and I think I blanked out for a few seconds because the next thing I knew, Nathan, Cath, and Nathan's parents were all over Ana and the cousins, while Ana was screaming on top of her lungs about me being fat, not worthy of Leo's attention, and if it weren't for my skills in makeup, I wouldn't be pretty - those actually sting and I started to quietly cry. I felt bad about my self and for causing a scene on Cath and Nathan's wedding when they have been nothing but kind to me, and I felt mad at myself for being so helpless and a doormat.
And then, Leo was kneeling in front of my seat and held my hand. I couldn't really remember what he said to me but he looked so worried and sad for me. I could remember him squeezing my hands and even pulled me for a hug as Ana was dragged by her parents out of the venue. Ana was cut off by their parents and kicked out of their home for her behavior after that. I went home after that fiasco - I said sorry to Cath and Nathan, and to their parents as well. They tried to make me stay, tell me I wasn't wrong, and even Nathan's mom kept apologizing but I still felt shit and I knew I was going to have a panic attack if I don't leave soon. I avoided everyone as I swiftly walked out of the venue, I didn't even bother saying goodbye to Leo, I just walked out. When I got to my car in the parking lot, guess who was leaning against the driver's side with a huge heart-stopping smile - Leo, my god drop dead gorgeous Leo, looking like he was starring in a romance story, and I kid you not, the guy even pulled a line that made me feel butterflies, "OP, I never pegged you to be the kind of girl who ditches her date. Give me another chance to make it up to you, will you?" Bro was acting like it was prom we went to and not his sister's wedding. I actually felt better when the night ended as Leo took me out for dinner.
And to give an epilogue to this disaster and long post already: A week after the wedding, Cath and Nathan were having a housewarming party, and I decided to attend. As soon as they both saw me, I was welcomed by tight hugs and Cath's mom even shoved Leo so she could hug me next. Nathan's parents were still apologetic and promised to make it up to me. The party was lively, Leo and I were next to each other again during the party and that helped me felt ease. Cath and Nathan even did a slideshow of their wedding photos for the family to see. Every one was laughing, cooing at the couple's photos, when a photo of the table I was sitting in flashed next. There were 6 of us seated at the table but you could clearly see in the photo that Leo and I were facing each other, laughing at what we were talking about. Cath's mom was the first one to speak up and say "Oh would you look at that! OP looks so cute!" She then turned to Leo who was next to me and said "Isn't she cute, Leo?" To which Leo agreed. He looked at me and smiled, "Not a surprise, she is the prettiest girl I've met." Holy mother of waffles I swear I thought I was dreaming. I heard Cath make barf sounds with her brother's words, while Nathan was laughing.
So here we are, 2 years since that eventful wedding of Cath and Nathan's, and it was my turn to walk down the aisle last weekend for my wedding. Cath and Nathan's adorable twin girls were my flower girls, and Leo looked handsome as always as he waited for me at the end of the aisle by the altar. Yes, my husband agreed to me writing this post and was gracious enough to fill me in on the lines he said.

Case 1: I have a china friend, let's call him Y for now. And today he might had the biggest moodswing I ever seen. FYI, he wanted to start a business but I wasn't supportive because it's a startup and he isn't really smart and his idea is unclear and I didnt believe in him. 2 weeks later, he messaged me asking how am I doing, and I say I am unemployed, and he ask whether do I want a job or not, which I replied yeah, and he show a event road show part-time job which I didn't care about but applied anyway. Later on, I asked, "did you get any job offers about our course of study" he replied back angrily like, "Wtf what kind of question is that I am still waiting for NS", then I say, "I just want to know whether if our classmates got any job offers related to our course". And this is where he got really heated me and say, "you're just a loser", "I have never seen you anything more than a loser" "no goals no ambition no woman no jobs".
Hearing this I was shocked 😯 I didn't know that's what he thinks about me all this time and I instantly blocked him instead of asking what happened 😬
Case 2: With another china friend, let's call him Z for now. Z wants to order Bibimbap from new restaurant, he ask me whether I want to order or not. I replied no. Since I already had Korean/japanese food yesterday, then went other hawker store. Being the indecisive guy I am, I went back to the direction where he's ordering Bibimbap, he ask the same question again, which I replied no.
After we meet back at the table, he ask me again whether I want a Bibimbap, then I told him, "I don't want a Bibimbap, I can always order from this store if I wanted to. Why do you keep asking the same question? Are you stupid" in Chinese. This makes him enraged and he's like, "I am just asking right, don't want then say don't want, why must get mad". Then his stupidity shock me 😯 note that he's not the type to treat food, so when he ask whether I want Bibimbap, he's not trying to treat me, he's asking whether I want to buy. I already answer him thrice and he still won't give up 😂 bruh. I wasn't really mad but really annoyed.
Foolish people make foolish friends it seems. Sigh

When I drive, people stare at me from the street as they walk. When I'm in the street, people stare at me. If I say hello to someone, they seem to be straining to answer or afraid. I had a job interview and was hired, but the employer seemed afraid of me. The only thing I know is that apparently look smart. But no matter where I go people turn around and stare at me, yet they don't necessarily seem to be to be interested in me, I think I'm scary.
I also noticed that I made people socially anxious and uncomfortable. Yet those who know me, treat me well and don't stare at me and are nice to me, but strangers seem to project a totally different image from the people I know. I noticed that the women seemed to be much more afraid than the men, the men openly stared at me while the women seemed to flee or panic. For example yesterday I was walking and there was a couple taking photos. in nature, she saw me from afar, looked at me and decided to get into her car. the dogs also go completely crazy when they see me, growling and barking. even the dogs I know. When they approach me for a hug, some come crying or lower their heads, and have fear in their eyes. I'm not a violent or mean person though.

I just received the 13 inch. It arrived earlier than expected!
The screen is crazy, coming from an 11-inch iPad Pro 2018 it’s really impressive. The depth of the blacks and the brightness are truly astonishing.
Regarding the size, it bothers me less than I feared, mainly thanks to the reduced weight of the 13 compared to previous iterations.
I only use this tablet as a tablet and especially not with a Magic Keyboard (I know it's strangely rare). It is less stable with the Apple Smart Folio than my Versacover Moshi which should soon be developed for the M4.
Oddly what bothers me the most are the vibrations that I feel with the 4 speakers, which were much less present on the 11. There is more bass, therefore logically more vibrations, but I don't know if it is only due to that or to the very fine form factor.
I'm giving myself 4/5 days to know if I keep this one or if I go back to an 11. For the moment the balance is leaning more in favor of the new one ;)

A little background on everything. I work at a bank so there’s only 12 employees. This new woman transferred about 3 months ago and I wasn’t interested in her at first. After a week she started coming over to my desk a few times a day with little questions or just to sit and chit chat. I told her I wouldn’t expect people to go to a walk for me but I may be interested and I would let her know. A week later she ask about my plans for the weekend to which I tell her I’m with my son this weekend, and he’s always my #1 priority. About two weeks later she’s telling me about new shelves she’s getting and installing over the weekend and that she’s probably going to be doing it herself, while just looking at me. At this point I’m thinking she’s hinting that she wants me to help her but I’m also saying that if she has a boyfriend will this be awkward, so I didn’t say anything. The following Monday I asked how were the shelves and as she’s showing me pictures she’s says she got her boyfriend to help. Now I’m thinking ok she has a boyfriend she’s probably just very nice, so I started to suppress any feelings at had. So I chose not to go the benefit walk because it would’ve felt weird with her having a boyfriend. We still had a little banter and flirting but tried to keep it professional, especially if she has a boyfriend. Since then she will still lock eyes with me as I go to the printer and give me smiles and the cute look, but when I try to talk to her there’s something wrong or she’ll look at her phone. After all this another coworker told me that she is single. This weekend was her birthday and I texted her and wished a happy birthday and we joked about her only turning 22. We’re both off for our birthdays, with mine be this week I felt like asking her to hangout but I’m not sure if it’s smart. Was there anything there or was a miss reading signs, and if there was did I miss my opportunity?
