Watching V-league in Japan experience!

2024.05.21 12:37 yama_is_mountain Watching V-league in Japan experience!

Hello! This is a part two of my previous post on purchasing vleague tickets: https://www.reddit.com/volleyball/s/a7XW39F7dX
With this post, I want to encourage people to watch vleague if they ever visit Japan, and basically just sharing my story! _^
I watched the game on 4th February 2024, which is the Suntory Sunbirds vs Panasonic Panthers in Ookini Arena Maishima. There isn't a direct train there, so I had to stop on the Nishi Kujo station and take a bus there.
The venue was packed! The teams were both from Osaka, so I figured a lot of people from nearby was excited to watch. The line to enter was very neat and organized. The Sunbirds mascot was also walking around to entertain people while they're queing. I'm a foreigner and it was my first watching a volleyball game, let alone in Japan, so I was a bit confused. But the help center was very kind and helpful! They also gave away little pack of gummies as a bonus. l came early, so I got to watch the players warming up! There were some fansites with professional cameras sitting at the site of the courts to take pictures of the players. Somehow, it reminded me of attending a K-pop concert.
Mind you this is my first time watching pro volleyball game, so I was surprised at how big the players are. The game itself was very fast and flashy!!! Hearing the sound Yuji Nishida makes when he serves was really something else. I recognized a lot of other players too, since I'm a fan of the Japanese National Team anyway.
Panthers won the game in straight set, which I hoped had lasted longer T.T....
After the game, the suntory sunbirds players lined up outside the venue to say goodbye to the fans! I think this was really sweet. They had a box for donations too. _^
Overall it was a really good experience. It was worth every penny! If you ever plan going to Japan, definitely spare some time to watch a game!!!

2024.05.21 12:20 Jetblackheart21 M20 looking for love

Hey, I'm a 20-year-old guy from Utah County, and no, I'm not Mormon, so dating here is always an adventure /S. I'm posting here because it feels more personal than swiping on dating apps.
I'm a confident, upbeat guy with a knack for being a smartass, but I can also have deep, meaningful conversations. If you need someone to listen, I'm your guy, but I expect the same in return. I like to stay active, often doing things that might get me in trouble or banged up, but that's half the fun. I'm into calisthenics and running—I'm fit, though not exactly bulking up like a bodybuilder.
When I'm not working out, I'm diving into video games, especially military simulations like Arma and OHD, or classic platformers like Mario and Sonic. History, particularly WW2 and the Cold War, fascinates me, and I'm even working on a Cold War-themed board game. Despite my nerdy interests, I have a sensitive side—yes, I write poems and love to flirt once I get comfortable with someone.
I'm looking for someone sweet and caring around my age, preferably in the USA. I'm liberal and an atheist, just to put it out there upfront. If we click, that's what matters most to me.
If you're interested, hit me up. We can swap Snap or Discord and take it from there.

2024.05.21 12:13 Skizzlebits Another drop in the bucket

TF2 used to be my life
I originally created a steam account back in 2016 because my best friend wanted to play TF2 with me. I had barely touched FPS games, much less any PC game to begin with because I grew up a sheltered kid from a poor family. My mom subscribed to the whole "FPS causes violence" philosophy and would get mad at me for playing phatom forces on Roblox when I was 13-14 years old. Needless to say, I wasn't supposed to be able to play TF2 or much of anything violent for that matter, but nonetheless I continued.
My dad had a shitty old macbook pro that he had as a work laptop for years and years. The thing finally gave out and was decommissioned and he "disposed of it" and brought it home to use as a family computer. This thing could barely run flash games, but I downloaded tf2 anyway and struggeled through the 10 minute load times and the 20-30 fps on a good day to play. The allure of the game and the characters helped me push through the buggy laggy mess.
When I got to high school I got another shitty laptop, this time for school. This one could TF2 albiet not much better than the first and I spent hours of my life watching tf2 youtube videos and playing the game. I was so into it my sophomore year that I almost failed multiple classes in school because I engaged with the game so frequently. It was one of the few games I could play (I used to watch let's plays of games I couldn't run so I could still experience them) and I loved tf2 to death. I played sitting criss cross on the couch because I didn't own a desk, and used the cushion space next to me as a mousepad. None of my friends played it but it was my personal escape from the world.
Right as covid started I scored my very own gaming laptop. Lenovo had a discount on laptops for school, my parents were more well off than they had ever been, and I managed to sweet talk my dad into getting me something nice for my 18th birthday. The FIRST game I put on that thing was TF2 and I practically cried because after years I finally had something that could run it. By this point I was better at the FPS genre and the bump in computer specs made it even easier to excell. My mother wasn't ecstatic that I was playing FPS games but she let it slide because I was getting older. About that same time my friends got me into Apex Legends and because of years of trial and error with TF2 I was actually not too bad at the game. I even competed in some minor tournaments and won a hat from an Apex competition, proving my mom wrong and showing that what I enjoyed wasn't a complete waste of time, and I credit TF2 with both my teacher for FPS and my passion for the genre. Several years later I even saved the money from my first job to build my own PC.
I was there for Rick May's death, I was there for the begining of the botting of casual servers, and when I say it wrenched me to my core, I mean my teenage high school self cried as I deleted and redownloaded my favorite game mutliple times over several months. I never really did experience the hype of new updates as I only truely got into the game post jungle inferno. But I've been here for the slow rot and decay that has taken place over the past seven years as the game has faded from an old glory, to a rotten corpse.
The game in it's current state is barely playable, there are workarounds for it, but it's insulting to watch the thing that really started my passion for PC gaming and really gaming in genral get repeatedly kicked to the side. I realize that "Valve as a company works differently" is an excuse that gets thrown around a lot but I know I'm not alone in saying that this is not the end TF2 deserves. Its been SEVEN FUCKING YEARS since we got any kind of real attention from Valve and while it probably doesn't men shit I love this game and I don't want to watch negligence to consume the thing that has given me so much joy.
I love TF2 and I don't want to watch it die, not like this...

2024.05.21 12:07 SnooPandas4016 Boiling with rage

I'm having a moment so I need to get it out here before I get on with my day.
I co-own a house with my ex, he was incredibly mentally abusive and I'm fairly sure he's a narcissist and a year ago, despite half owning our house, I packed up my stuff and left. I got legal advice and got counselling, he moved on within about 3 months (we were engaged and had been together 5 years) to a co-worker (a subordinate no less).
I got tons of abusive messages from him playing with my head after I left. I tried to explain my side then soon realised that it was pointless, it had never worked and never would because it was all games. The straw that broke the camels back was when he found out I'd gone to the police about his behaviour after he followed me relentlessly around our house and refused to let me sleep.
So we're in the middle of a legal problem with our house which prevents us from selling, and I am SICK TO DEATH of his attitude, overly formal/nice but with this weird tinge of arrogance and hatred, a bit like dog whistling if you know what I mean. He just puts on this super sweet act as though he is the nicest person in the world, but it has this air of "i'm above it all" about it.
This morning he's emailed me about a payment I've refused to make to him until I get receipt of the goods, and he's all "well i'll accept your conditions if there's a witness" and I've just said I don't give a flying eff if you accept my conditions or not, it's happening. He's all "I just want to make this amicable so I don't have to deal with your irrational behaviour" and I just want to punch him straight in the face.
Has anyone else had this and how to you handle it? The only thing I'm grateful for is that i don't have to coparent with this POS.

2024.05.21 11:48 SnooHabits754 How We Built Tweetlio and Are Aiming for $10,000 MRR - Do you think we can do it ?

Wanted to share our journey of building Tweetlio, our all-in-one solution for Twitter growth. It’s been a wild ride, full of ups, downs, and everything in between. We’re gunning for $10,000 MRR at launch, and we’re even throwing in a sweet 50% discount for our early adopters here on Reddit. Here’s the story.

How It All Started

So there we were, drowning in Twitter chaos. Crafting tweets, scheduling them, engaging with our audience—it was a full-time job. And let’s be real, we were failing at it. One night, my co-founder and I were ranting about how tough it was to keep up. That's when the idea for Tweetlio hit us. A tool that does all the heavy lifting for Twitter? Yes, please!

Building the MVP

We jumped in headfirst, coding like maniacs and surviving on coffee and ramen. Building Tweetlio wasn’t a walk in the park. We wanted it to write and craft tweets, schedule them, and even engage with followers. Oh, and let’s not forget the 10,000+ viral tweet database we included to help users get more traction.
The first version? Total mess. Bugs everywhere. But we kept at it, fixing one issue after another. We reached out to anyone who would listen, trying to get feedback and users. It was exhausting, but slowly, it started to come together.

Testing the Product Beta

Convincing people to try Tweetlio was tough. We got ghosted more times than I can count. But then we started getting some wins. Users were loving the auto-engagement features and the viral tweet database. Seeing tweets blow up and getting thank you messages felt amazing.
There were still setbacks. Our server crashed during a demo with a big potential client. Talk about embarrassing. But every failure taught us something, and we came back stronger.

Building Our Community

The real magic happened when we focused on our community. We started holding virtual hangouts, sharing tips, and celebrating each other’s wins. Some of our beta users have been using Tweetlio to grow their followers by crafting new tweets from our viral tweet database and scheduling them for optimal times. Seeing their follower counts increase and their engagement levels rise has been incredibly rewarding.

The Big Goal: $10,000 MRR

Now, we’re aiming high. We’re gunning for $10,000 in monthly recurring revenue at launch. It’s ambitious, but we believe in Tweetlio. To sweeten the deal, we’re offering a 50% discount to our early adopters here on Reddit. You guys believed in us first, and we want to give back.
We also thinking of giving on Product hunt the same offer and other place but still not sure. The Growth plan is of 99$

My Experience:

  1. Embrace the Grind: Building something great takes time and effort. There will be long nights and setbacks, but keep pushing.
  2. Listen to Feedback: Your users are your best resource. Listen to them, learn from them, and make improvements.
  3. Build a Community: Engage with your users and create a space where they can connect and share.
  4. Stay Resilient: Failures are part of the process. Learn from them and keep moving forward.
  5. Believe in Your Vision: If you’re passionate about your idea, others will be too. Keep that fire burning.
Soory for any typo.
Thanks for reading, Reddit! If you’re looking to up your Twitter game, come check out Tweetlio. We’ve got your back.

2024.05.21 11:42 ashiepink Princess Parfait [Vegan]

Princess Parfait [Vegan]
(C*lories in the second picture.)
Indulge in a breakfast truly fit for royalty. This exquisite parfait begins with a base of tart soya yoghurt, blended with oat fibre to create a thick texture, then subtly enhanced with marzipan and cherry FlavDrops, evoking the classic Bakewell Tart. This creamy foundation is layered with a sugar-free blueberry muffin jelly, offering a delightful sweetness and unique texture. Crowned with a medley of summer berries—frozen raspberries, redcurrants, blueberries, and blackberries—this parfait presents a symphony of sweet, tart, and crunchy sensations. Finished with a sprinkling of chocolate-almond flavored aquafaba-erythritol meringue crumbles, and a delicate drizzle of sugar-free maple syrup, this breakfast creation promises an elegant and memorable start to the day.
(Jelly is Jello for Americans and, silly description aside, this is actually a wholesome breakfast that doesn't trigger me too badly. My nutritionist wants me to add nuts but y'all know the struggle. The aquafaba meringues are a fun treat and it's easy to mix up the flavours of the yogurt and meringue to have a different meal.)

How I got to $3k/week revenue after a year
Short and sweet:
  • made a fool of myself trying to sell my product to anyone who’d listen
  • I’m still embarrassed by it (does this ever pass?)
  • did the buildspace.so program twice (doing it again in june)
  • joined starter story for accountability groups where everyone has skin in the game
  • automated the shit out of my stack about 2 months ago so I can be 100% marketing
  • journal every day on Twitter and LinkedIn to get feedback from other builders
  • focusing hard on getting customers to refer their friends
  • reached out to my heroes for advice (about 30% hit rate)

On May 22, 2016, Game of Thrones' greatest character, Hodor (Willis), rested in peace. This was a character who left his mark on the hearts of many fans of the Game of Thrones series and film history. His dedication and courage will forever be remembered by the audience. If not for his tragic death, he would have become the great Hand of King Brandon Stark, first of his name. May his soul rest in peace and his legacy live on in the hearts of those who loved and respected him. My sincere condolences to everyone who felt the loss of Hodor (Willis).
I declare a week of mourning in honor of the legend.đŸ„€đŸ„€

2024.05.21 11:14 Washtali Cooking Minigame Patched on Switch?

I know there are a lot of issues with the cooking game, but I'm trying to understand how to possibly read the clues? Even when Im explicitly told what the judges favourite food is, they often still hate it.
For example, Yusuke has a line that he like steak. I serve him a steak and he rates it a 2.
Mellore likes sweet candy thats colourful or something, so I serve her a lollipop and she hated it.
Wasn't this apparently fixed? I read recently there were some patches to address the cooking, but it doesnt appear to have worked? I am playing on Switch and I have checked to make sure I'm playing the most recent version.
I mean I can keep serving Omelette and Vegetable Juice in the meantime but what's the point in collecting recipes? Even if you happen to figure out what recipe someone loves, chances are the other 3 judges will hate it in most cases.
There are some foods that I've served to probably a dozen differenr judges or more that no one seems to like. Suikoden didn't have nearly the same amount of this, I found it was much easier to find recipes everyone kind of likes even a little.

2024.05.21 10:36 Arctodus Impressions of Leviathan Wilds, Slay the Spire, Cascadero/dito, Spectral, and Harmonies

The world conspired in the best of ways to bless me with a whole bunch of new games at once and I happened to be able to get in a lot of plays quickly with them.
Always get an idea of who's talking before you take anything away from these reviews/impressions. Maybe we're really different people. I've been in the hobby for 10+ years. I've played a lot of games. I love interactive and mechanically unique games. I worship Reiner Knizia. Some of my favorite games are Tigris and Euphrates, Spirit Island, Race for the Galaxy, Agricola, Battle Line, and Oath. My favorite games of last year were Stationfall, Ra (reprint), and Zoo Vadis.
Okay, let's go!
Cascadito/Cascadero - Is this a Pokemon Red/Blue scenario? No! There's room for both halves of this pair of Knizias in a collection. I think Cascadero is the better game, but Cascadito slides onto our table more easily. I'm a bit of a believer in the Moneyball theory of games (does the game "get on base" (to the table)?) so, that matters!
Cascadero - 4 plays at 2 players - First, the production is perfect. Svelte box that's easy to pack, wooden pieces, great graphic design with built in rules reminders by Ian O'Toole, and a striking cover make this a joy to play. If you enjoy the general waves hands of Irish Gauge, you're going to love how this looks.
Cascadero requires a little patience, but I think I'm starting to see a heart of gold down in there. As a Knizia tile-layer, right away, this game is, unfortunately, going to get compared to some of the greatest games ever made. Games like Through the Desert, Samurai, Babylonia, etc. I say unfortunately, because I don't think you'll love this game on the first play. That's because I think the default/starter side of the board is less interesting. If you're familiar with games, do yourself a favor and flip to the farmer side as soon as possible. Even then, Cascadero is subtle. When played best, it's a quiet maneuvering of cubes up to just the right spots on tracks with pieces on the board in all the right places that build a little lattice of opportunity. Not just one combo ready to score, but a set of circumstances that hedge on an opponent's move. Paths are everywhere, and you're using them in just the right ways to get across a double score gap or to slip into a fold in the track that gives an extra bonus. I feel like the review circuit doesn't usually play games enough times to appreciate this one, and maybe it's subtle to a fault. It isn't great when you hear "it gets good on game 4", but I'm four games in and usually that's the point where I'm bored of most games. With this one I'm excited to play more.
Cascadero is great!
Cascadito - 5 plays at 2 players - Do you like My City? Do you like My City: Roll and Build? I do. I probably wouldn't list them in my favorite games, but they are such great weeknight-with-the-partner games that I appreciate them all the same. Cascadito isn't billed as a campaign game, but rather as four maps. Maybe a 4 game campaign doesn't sound long enough, but I'm busy. 4 games sounds like something I can do. If you've played Cascadero, map 1 is the less interesting version of that game. Stick with it though! Like My City, you get the joy of seeing Knizia riff on an idea. We enjoyed each subsequent map more and more and we could see ourselves replaying #3 and especially #4. In fact, on map 4 we kept looking at each other's sheets during the game - on a roll and write! I like that.
Cascadito is good!
Spectral - 6 plays at 2 players - I'm pretty picky about deduction games, especially as board games. As someone who has put hundreds of hours into Picross and sudoku I need there to be a good reason why I'm using my precious time with my friends on something that is usually so solitary. So far, I've really only liked The Search for Planet X. While it isn't known as a particularly interactive game, my friends and I have played it so competitively that we look for any scrap of information that might give us the edge, and the publishing system cranks up the incentive to take some leaps of faith in a tight race.
When I heard about Spectral I was excited - an interactive, bidding based logic puzzle - cool! Six games later, I haven't really figured out how to interact with my opponent. While The Search for Planet X has clear moments of intention to watch for (publishing papers), it's really hard to tell when your opponent is acting with intention or just exploring in Spectral. You also don't have those little clues like what your opponent is scanning for or researching like in Planet X to build some kind of theory around. The game is a breeze to play, yet barely leaves room to grapple. So maybe the interaction isn't super strong, but how's the logic puzzle?
Boring. Imagine playing sudoku, but the logic restrictions were only for rows and not also columns, or within squares. You can do some deduction with the curse cards, but the treasure cards (12 of the 16) are all essentially equally informative and don't allow for much in the way of chains of deduction. You can do a little bit with probabilities of where treasures are likely to overlap, but it rarely feels worth it to pursue when finding curses provides a much more reliable benefit.
I want to be wrong about this game. Please, someone argue this one with me.
Spectral is okay. If you play it once or twice, I think you'll have a good time, but I don't see it having legs.
Slay the Spire - I've had this game for less than a month and I think I've put in maybe 50 hours at the table with it at this point. I've played with people who have 1000s of hours in Slay the Spire - they have loved it. I've played with people who have never played Slay the Spire - I see them playing Slay the Spire on Steam the next day and asking when they can next come over. People who usually duck out of a game night at 10pm are still at the table at 1am.
I was really worried it would be bad. I wondered, why not just play the digital game? But here I am, holding the box and knowing without a doubt, this object sparks joy. Have you ever experienced a solitary piece of media, obsessed over it, and then gotten a chance to experience it together with other fans? Maybe something like watching Game of Thrones with friends after reading the books. It feels great to share in something you've loved. That's how Slay the Spire has felt. But it's not just that, as evidenced by the friends that have never played the digital game and still loved it. It's just a damn good deck builder, and the whole system of knowing exactly what the enemies are going to do before they do it goes over so well here. It's so apparent that this translation was a labor of love and so much has gone into preserving the spirit of the game. I love it.
Slay the Spire is excellent!
Leviathan Wilds - played the first 3 Leviathans solo and at 2 - I backed this as a Shadow of the Colossus fan, and hoped for the best. I'm honestly blown away by how much this game has exceeded my expectations. First, there's something about this game that feels so complete and efficient. There's no Kickstarter bloat. It's in a very understated, retail sized box. The game just gets so much out of each component. It feels like the people who made it have made a lot of games before (and they have!).
I have trouble finding mid-weight 1-hour co-ops that I like. I love co-ops like The Crew at the short and sweet end and Spirit Island at the epic and heavy end, but the games that hit around the Pandemic range have never appealed to me. There often seems to be too much upkeep and setup, and not enough to keep me interested in sharing a puzzle with other people.
Leviathan Wilds is sooooo easy to set up. Setting up a Leviathan involves opening a spiral bound map book and laying out five cards. Processing the enemy turn involves flipping a card and later doing what it says. I don't play solo games, pretty much ever, but I'm playing this solo because it's so damn easy to run.
The moment to moment gameplay has been a blast. The systems are very open and freeform and the cards are multi-use, so there's often this feeling of scrapping together just the thing you need from odd parts - burning this card, eating this mushroom, falling here, etc. The movement system really leans into the mechanics of Shadow of the Colossus and allows for a creativity and freedom while reinforcing the theme. Every game we've played has been tight and we've failed a few times. I like that. My only complaint was that the enemies will sometimes do "swift" moves that resolve before your turn so you don't have much of a chance to react. I didn't realize until a game or two later that you can still use skills on cards to react instantly which might be an easy rule to miss. I've felt much better about "swift" since learning that. I'll definitely be backing the announced small expansion for the upcoming reprint. What a pleasant surprise.
Leviathan Wilds is excellent!
Harmonies - 6 plays at 2 players - This game has been called a Reef killer, an Azul killer, and a Cascadia killer. I own all those games! So, what's the body count at my table? Well, first off this game is lovely. The art is beautiful, the spatial puzzle is quite satisfying, and the playtime is breezy (especially at 2). It is most comparable to Reef in that you are arranging and stacking pieces in configurations for points, but there's a second layer of tile arrangement, similar to Cascadia's habitats, that's always present, no matter what cards come up. The Azul comparison is probably due to the drafting of tiles from a central market. So, what's the outcome?:
  • Reef - Dead. Harmonies gives me a similar spatial puzzle in less time, in a smaller box, with better art, and it feels more thematic (I want to make homes for all my animals!).
  • Cascadia - Dead. (although I was tired of it already). I find the game to game strategies in Harmonies to be more diverse and I don't feel like I have an algorithm to follow like in Cascadia (Is there a tile that increases two habitats? Can I fit a fox between my other groups of animals?).
  • Azul - Alive. It's a stretch to compare the two games, but the drafting portion is far more interesting in Azul with the combining pools of tiles. Azul sits with Carcassonne in this perfect zone of being a gateway game that starts out gentle and puzzley and more you play it the more cutthroat it becomes. This isn't Harmonies, but...
Harmonies is excellent. I wouldn't be surprised if its the best gateway type game of the year. I do think it could slow down significantly with more players, but I tend to play something more interactive beyond 2.
Dro Polter - Too many plays to count and at all player counts - I think this is Oink's cutest production yet. The chunky wooden ghost, the tiny bells, the little set of treasures you'll hold in your hand. If you like frantic dexterity games, this is great. You can explain the rules in about 2 sentences and it's very non-gamer friendly. The cleverest bit is how you have to hold onto points in the form of tiny bells and if you drop them you lose them. It's an excellent system of handicapping the leader that often turns to laughs. It's mostly a novelty, but if you can introduce it to a few different groups of people, it feels worth it. Great with kids too.
Dro Polter is great!

2024.05.21 09:31 throwoutbadfriends Aita for ending my friendship of 6 years when my best friend abandoned me while I am dealing with cancer?

So, in May 2023, my friend (Em f23) and I (f28) had a conversation that started off friendly. Just chit-chat and funny anecdotes from the day. She brought up a situation with her coworker she enjoyed. It involved tourettes and one of her coworkers' specific tics.
I made a comment that I genuinely didn't think much of at the time. It was just some trivia I knew of and thought was interesting. Specifically that people with tourettes can 'catch' or involuntarily copy tics from other people with tourettes. It's something I learned from watching content made by people with tourettes. She made a comment like, "Maybe it's not like that, in this specific situation with my coworker."
Here's where I should have realised she was not interested in my trivia. What I definitely didn't realise was that it in fact made her mad, but I kept pushing anyways because I felt I was correct, that the coworker had picked up the tic from a well know streamer because it was literally identical. Em then stopped answering, after a couple hours of silence I asked her if she was actually mad about what I said and she responded with "Its fucking fine." Cue her not talking to me at all for 3 days. On the third day, she said we needed to have a sit-down conversation about boundaries because she "is having big feelings." her words, not mine.
I was so confused about what would have triggered her wanting to talk about boundaries when the conversation we had was a mild disagreement at worst. I would understand if I said something offensive, but I literally just said a fact and my opinion on her coworker, I didn't try to force her to agree, and there's proof of the streamer with that specific tic so it wasn't like I was lying to be able to one up her or something? I don't know, this whole part of the situation is incredibly confusing to me because she never talked about why that conversation triggered her to give me the silent treatment in the first place or how it led her to wanting to talk about boundaries. In the end, the boundaries she talked about much much later had nothing to do with this conversation even though it seemed to be what caused her to want boundaries. Idk, I'm still very confused about what actually caused her to want to have the discussion after the three days of silence and a minor disagreement.
At this point, still May 2023, I was in severe pain, but I did not know it was cancer yet. I was barely making it through each day with how much I was in pain. The tumor is in my leg, growing out of the top portion of my tibia in a way that has made the tibial platue hollow, or essentially a whisper thin shell of bone filled with slime, sorry but that's the best way to describe it. At any moment, my surgeon told me this later, I could have broken that thin bone and had a collapsed knee joint. I say this so you you know when I talk about pain here, I'm talking excruciating levels of pain.
So walking specifically and everything else was extremely painful, and that was taking a lot of energy and brain space. I told her I was in a ton of pain. I was exhausted and barely scraping by just to keep working while waiting for my doctors visits to hopefully figure out what was wrong. I said I would try to find a day to have "the talk," but things just kept getting worse. By the end of July I had seen four different doctors, three of which thought I was just trying to get drugs, the last one was an orthopedic doctor and she took two minutes of looking at an xray and another minute of looking at my leg to say I most likely had a tumor.
The official on paper diagnosis came in September because of the waiting time to meet with the surgeon, but we knew it was a tumor in August. I was put on essentially bed rest from august to the day I had surgery September 27th. I told Em about the tumor the day I got the MRI results which I had in mid August to prepare for the appointment with the surgeon. Her response was extremely upsetting to me.
Em: "That's a lot to deal with. The possibility of having a malignant tumor is scary and can make you really question life. When you're put into a situation like that, it forces you to look back on your life and reevaluate. You find out what you really want out of life and what you waisted too much time dealing with. That's really tough. I'm sorry I made you feel like you couldn't talk to me about your pain. Being more supportive of each other was something I wanted to talk about. Hopefully, you have a sweet and easy recovery."
That response hurt, it felt like she was saying I had a lot to regret in life and like I didn't have much time left to live to fix my regrets. But I thanked her for the empathy she tried to give and moved on. After that she never checked in on me, never asked how I was or what the plan of treatment was. My surgery was scheduled for the end of Spetember, the day after her birthday. I wished her a happy birthday. Then I let her know after the surgery that everything went well and that I was going to be in the hopsital for a few days. I was loopy on strong pain meds so i also told her that my nurse drew me a cute doodle on my white board, she said ".That's great! Hopefully you heal fast so you can go on a date with her. 😉" which was totally out of the blue. I havent dated anyone in the time Ive know or been friends with Em. Im asexual, and an extreme introvert, dating is not really my thing and she knows this. So that comment was very weird to me. After that she never even texted to check in on me or tried to visit me in the 5 days I stayed in the hospital after the surgery. Keep in mind, we are supposedly best friends.
I almost considered our friendship over by then, but I reached out to her when I was pretty much back on my feet to see what was going on and asked her what the conversation about boundaries was about. I apologized for being too chicken shit to ask about it earlier because I don't do well emotionally with getting criticism even when it's valid and I know I need to hear it. On top of that I was (and still am) dealing with fucking cancer. Not an excuse, it is an explanation though. So I apologized.
Her responses here, copy and pasted from our messages:
Em:
"First off I want so say that it's very respectable that you are willing to admit what you did wrong. Thank you for the apology.
Secondly, I don't know if the the conversation is still worth having. I'd be lying if I said I was devastated that we dropped off and didn't communicate for months. To be brutally honest, my life has drastically improved in our time apart. I'm so much more effective and positive. I'm very proud of how far I've come.
That's not to say I believed that you were the soul cause of all of my misfortune. In fact one of the boundaries I wanted to set was actual planned dates instead of spontaneous ones. Because I realized that I was using you like a form of procrastination. I couldn't do the things I needed to do because I chose to hang out with you instead. With my main distraction gone I've been able to thoroughly work through my shit, mental and physical.
When we last hung out I remembered feeling dark and heavy afterwards because it was nothing special. It was just a normal outing for us. I remember feeling angry that what we should have talked about wasn't addressed. Annoyed that it seemed like nothing had changed and that I had not changed. And scared that opening up communication could lead to me falling back into the pit again.
I don't know if we should have the original talk because so much has changed for both of us. We both equally walked over our own thresholds of hell. What I had to say months ago, I believe was true then, but I don't think it will be true now. I think it's quite possible for us to start anew and correct and develop as we go. But I think it would be just as easy to admit our friendship was a great experience. We were there when we needed each other. But it might be time to go our separate ways.
I will say, if we collectively choose to merge back together. I WON'T let it be the same. I don't want you to tell me every tiny dark secret. But I do want you to tell me that you want to stop at game stop and ask me to take you somewhere. Without fear of gas. I want you to tell me if it pisses you off that I take you to only crystal shops or that I talk about spiritually. Because I want to improve. I have no intention of continuing a relationship that doesn't inspire growth or bring me positivity."
So she stopped talking to me, because she had no self-control. She abandoned me during the worst medical crisis of my fucking life, because she doesn't know how to manage her time or her motivation. She punished me, for her problems. To be very specific the spontaneous hanging out was nearly 100% on her. I would ask to hang out rarely, because I never had the chance to because she would be asking to see me multiple times a week.
I'm not a social person, so other than work I don't have much going on and she was my best friend. I wasn't going to say no if I didn't have any other plans. She never brought up that she was procrastinating anything by hanging out with me. Never a peep. Never a hint. Nothing. I had no idea any of that was going on. If I did know I would have been 150,000% there to support her by asking how her goals were going, how her chores were going. Hell I would have helped her do chores as our hang out if she had asked. I did help her with some stuff. Painting her head board, rearranging and cleaning her room, working on crafts when she needed motivation to finish a piece for a friend, being a study buddy when she needed to focus on her mental health books, things like that.
Also in what world is learning to be accountable for your own actions and vacuuming regularly the same as going through cancer? I don't like comparing pain or life struggles usually, but this was a crossed line for me. For her to say her dealing with procrastination was an "equal threshold of hell" as my bone eating tumor and excruciating pain and the fear of it spreading to other parts of my body, it infuriates me still to think about that.
So I am now hurt and angry as hell, that she stopped talking to me over seemingly nothing that I did. I had no idea what was going on with the tourettes coworker conversation that ended in "its fucking fine" from her and then her next message was about her needing to set boundaries. And then she says her life is better without me in it.
Friendship effectively over. Or it should have been.
Here's where I'm a bit of an asshole.
I took her back. I said we could try again. That we both needed to improve but that we could do it better this time. At the time I genuinely believed it. For a couple weeks.
Then the more I thought about laying in that hospital bed, alone, wishing I had someone to distract me from the pain and fear, the more I started to realise her reasons for cutting contact was bullshit. Her wanting to have this big talk about boundaries and the boundaries she wanted were literally nothing I could do they were all her issues with her own decisions and there's was nothing I could change about myself to fix the problem she was putting 50/50 on my shoulders. Her saying her life was better without me when that whole time I was crying over missing her and trying to figure out what I did wrong where I fucked up, what I could do or say to fix it. It all just added up too much and so I sent her one last message.
"I've been doing a lot of thinking and going through my emotions and I think I'm going to step back from whatever this friendship has turned into. I'll be honest I feel betrayed that you didn't even try to support me going through cancer. I understand things were rocky when I got my diagnosis, however if our friendship was important to you on any level I can't understand why you didn't even text me to see how I was doing for months at a time when you knew I was going through one of, if not the most, difficult medical diagnosis humans can get. I felt completely abandoned, especially since the reason we even stopped talking and hanging out was because of your own procrastination issues which I had nothing to do with. If you had even just told me that you needed to get things done before we could hang out I would have supported you unconditionally. Instead you gave a vague "we need to talk about boundaries and being more supportive of each other." And then never supported me in the darkest time of my life so far. It's taken me a while to get to the root of why I feel the way I do, but I don't think I can just let this go like I wanted to. I loved being your friend and it always felt like you valued my friendship too, until you were cutting me off because of your poor time management. I know that will sound harsh, I'm sorry, but it's true. I have my own issues that hurt you, I know that and I really am sorry. I am sorry I could never reciprocate financially, I'm sorry you were the one always picking me up and driving. I'm sorry that I never gave you the birthday or Christmas gifts you wanted. Thank you for all the amazing times. Goodbye."
To clarify the gift thing, I have been very poor for a long time. I am neurodivergent and I struggle to hold down a job. But I hand made her gifts, or cooked for her. The last thing I made for her was a crochet mandala blanket, please look up Radiance Mandala Blanket to see how much effort I went to, she picked the colors and I made her a lap blanket version for christmas 2022. It took her less than a month to complain that she wished she could have picked the colors. SHE DID. I told her to pick a pallet of colors specifically for her blanket and did my best to match the colors she picked with yarn I already owned. It wasn't perfect but I got it as close as I could. I don't like to make a big deal out of things I do for people because giving to the ones I love is literally the easiest thing in the world for me. But to have her act like I didnt try to make it as perfect for her as I could hurt so much.
Anyways, back to me telling her I was done. Her reply back pissed me off, maybe because I was already angry. It felt so patronizing and dismissive. But that might just be because of all the emotions I was already feeling at the time I read it.
Em: "Your feelings are valid. I'm sorry I made you feel abandoned in the hardest time. I wish you the best of luck on your way through life. Fall in love, have your farm, raise your kids, craft wonderful creations, enjoy the many YouTube videos to come, and don't forget to live your best self. I'll take this harsh lesson and apply it to friendships in the future. Live long and prosper, my friend, and have many pleasant wanderings."
Harsh lesson my ass. If it was harsh for anyone it was harsh for me to learn my best friend gave absolutely no shits about me and couldnt be bothered to try and support me through this medical crisis. We haven't spoken since. I have her blocked on everything. So, aita for cutting off Em? Even though I'm angry, I'm conflicted because I still love her, she was my best friend for 6 years.

2024.05.21 09:23 Umpire-Hairy What’s the best way for me(26m)to file for full custody from my kid’s mentally unstable mother?(24F)

I’m gonna try to make this as simple as possible. Basically I’ve been dealing with this woman since 2019 and at first I thought she was sweet, spiritual, and innocent, boyyyy was I wrong.. as time went on I started to see the real her. She’s very manipulative, a pathological liar, narcissist, and she has cluster B border line personality disorder. The night we met she fed me a bunch of lies which I uncovered overtime for example she told me the first night we met that she had been raped the year prior while she was in school(which I later found out was not true whatsoever. Months down the line she would even talk about exs that were “abusive” towards her which I later also found out wasn’t true. Fast forward to February of 2020 she ended up pregnant with our first child and a couple months into the pregnancy she just decided she’s not gonna deal with me anymore, so I ended up dating a woman I’ve known since middle school. She found out about this and next thing I know the sheriffs are serving me a restraining order accusing me of rape!!! When we showed up for court she immediately dropped the order before we even could talk to the judge. Fast forward to when my child was born in December of 2020 she texts me that she just had the baby and I asked if I could come up there and she said “no” and as time goes on she start’s blatantly keeping my child from me I didn’t meet my first born until February of 2021, and that’s when she tried to reconcile whatever situationship we had and would go on to apologize for the accusations saying her family foster her to do that so that I won’t be able to be in my child’s life which of course was a lie that was her decision. As time goes on the girl I was dating passed away and I was distraught so my baby mother comes around and I ended up coming up on money and decided to get us an apartment with our child two months into staying there I had a seizure while sleeping and instead of staying there to help she takes my child and leaves and proceeded to text my mom a picture of me in bed having the seizure and even tells my mom I was hitting her while having a seizure
. She blocked me again after that and a month later comes back around againnnn I guess basically to just have sex with me and then blocks me again and keeps me from my child, and at that point she was pregnant with my second child. I didn’t see my oldest for 6-7 months I had moved on to a nice relationship with a wonderful woman by that time and my second child was born, and that’s when I decided to take this stuff to court and the judge reprimanded her for isolating my kids from me and a custody order was placed for them to be with me every other weekend. During the custody court date she tried telling the judge I was abusive and all that nonsense and the judge seen right through it and didn’t pay it any attention, so two months after that she starts reaching out more and trying to have normal conversations and I would go along with it like a idiot and she wanted to hook up again and we did a few times, in which my girlfriend found out and we broke up and then weeks after that my baby moms ghost me again, still following the order tho. A month later my girlfriend and I got back on good terms and she notices and tries to get me to sabotage my relationship again! It doesn’t really work and I came to find out she would tell her family I was abusing her and a bunch of other ridiculous lies. This time CPS gets involved and investigates me for DV, which didn’t work. Now let’s fast forward to two years later, my babymom keeps coming in and out of my life(I don’t know why I let her honestly) she thinks about leaving to the military and I took the kids while she tries to go to the recruiting camp or whatever to see if she can enlist which she can’t because apparently she’s been committed by her mother a few times.. I stopped dealing with her for a while until some months back, she calls herself apologizing for everything she’s done to me and we start hanging out again but at this point I no longer am in love with her I wanted to go be with the woman I was still in love with that she thought she Sabotaged, and when I confessed this to her and that I can’t deal with how much she lies and plays these mental games and before I try to go home she tells me she’s gonna kill herself when I go home and I had her committed at her own request, she stayed for about a week and a half. Gets out and was put on meds and therapy which she stopped using after a couple of months. Me and the girl I’m in love with are still seeing each other and me and my babymoms stopped dealing with each other yet again. I get a knock on the door about a month or two later with getting served another restraining order falsely accusing me of abuse yet again I didn’t fight it cuz I’m really tired of her at this point. We started hanging out just taking the boys to the park and stuff like that just to try to bond with our kids as a family despite everything
she starts wanting to get intimate and I actually didn’t want to this time and then she starts telling me a bunch of lies about how she hasn’t been with anybody and a whole bunch of non sense that I know is false, and I snapped on her and called her out on all of it, I went wrong in the conversation and threw her phone back at her but it wasn’t in a aggressive way it hits her on the eye and I apologized and everything and I still say I don’t wanna be intimate with her and wanna be with the same woman that I’m in love with still, and then she begins to start that “I wanna kill myself” bullshit again except this time I don’t commit her cuz I realize she just tries to get pity from me and everybody else however she can. The next day she texts and asks for a bag she left at my house I told her I’d leave it on the porch for her. When she pulls up me and my girlfriend and her son are outside playing, out of nowhere her uncles jumps out her car and attacks me while my kids are watching from her car and my girlfriend’s son was right there in front of all this he then runs back to her car and they pull off quickly. The phone left her eye a lil black when I threw it at her and she even admitted that to my brother through text and to me in text that it was the phone, but typical crazy girl fashion she even texts my girlfriend after her and her uncle left a picture of her eye and says “you better leave him alone before this happens to you” she reported the incident to police weeks later but no charges were filed, CPS reached out to me yet again and I explain to them what happened over the phone and they didn’t seem to adamant about opening up a case. After the attack from her uncle I go to the courts and filed for motion of contempt for not following the custody arrangement on a few occasions, one of being that she had her u cake attack me with my kids present and one of the requirements on the order is to not let the other parent be harmed in any way in front of the children which the judge signed off on and we have court later today for. So yesterday she reaches out after it’s been almost two months since that whole attack from her uncle saying how she misses me and she wants to get the restraining order dropped, and she wants to sleep with me, and see me, and all that. And I actually let her come meet up with me at the mall just to kind of see where her headspace is. Long story short came to find out she was dating some guy and I told him all about her in which he agreed that she lies about every single thing and it’s almost impossible to believe a word out her mouth. this girl has some serious issues and I really want full custody of my boys because I’m scared for their safety being with her as she’s really unstable and flat out crazy, I know hiring an attorney would be the easiest route and me and my family are willing to go in on one but it’s so expensive that if I can do it without an attorney I would like that, would the judge wnat to hear about any of this at this custody violation hearing? Or should I open another case for that separately? I did mention to CPS when they asked me if I had any concerns about my kids being with her I didn’t really want to say too much because I was going to court anyway but I did tell them she smokes marijuana often and drinks very often. I know I should’ve just told them about her mental health problems right then and there but I was still kinda in shock they called me in the first place. Now most of this stuff is documented in texts and pictures, what would you do in this situation? Like what’s the best way of going about fighting her for full custody?

2024.05.21 09:20 SecureHand5534 [Two Player Co-op] [Vs. game] Some kind of obscure weird game that Pewdiepie randomly played with one of his friends.

Platform(s): Likely a PC game, slight feeling it could possibly be a flash game, maybe not.
Genre: Competitive Party game of sorts, no real set gameplay. 2 players vs one another.
Estimated year of release: somewhere around the early 2000's? thinking 2008-2010. That is somewhere around when I saw the game being played by Pewdiepie back in the days.
Graphics/art style: The art was very bright and colorful, vibrant and trippy to an extent. Characters were colorful and neon, with a lot of crazy background patterns whilst the characters and assets were mostly detailed and cartoony.
Notable characters: Characters were just two buff muscular guys, weird looking and had unnatural skin colors. They likely had different hair styles to tell who was player 1 or player 2.
Notable gameplay mechanics: Game is a rather short VS. game, you and one opponent friend. First minigame was I guess a workout session with your buff character? After that ended, a voice went "What a workout~!!" and we cut to the second minigame, where your buff characters pose romantically and extend their tongues at each other, reaching for food rising up the screen. You had to eat fly-ridden sweets for points, and avoid vegetables because it made your character sick and cut points off. Afterwards, the final minigame had your characters heads suddenly flying off their bodies and rising to the sky, with a climactic singing in some?? language, then the heads start blasting rainbowish lasers from their mouths, and now you and your opponent had to try and maneuver the heads to destroy one another, and dubstep music played loudly. Whoever won the battle had their character's floating head quickly land over a detailed skull, and grin widely.
Other details: The one game I could compare (that was also played by Pewdiepie at the time) was "Muscle March" on the Wii, which was similar due to the characters being these muscular dudes. This game may have been seen in a one-off video? I can't find it on his channel even when I look up "weird/cute/kawaii" whatever game, may or may not be from a deleted video. This is the best info I can give.

🔗Magic Bullet Blender: Efficient, Compact, and Easy to Use

https://preview.redd.it/klugnx815q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=dfef55ceff8a51bbdc296b79a1c93b99d90d9394
As someone who loves experimenting with different recipes and enjoying healthy snacks, I found the Magic Bullet blender to be a life-saver. Its compact size makes it perfect for my small kitchen, and the ease of use is a huge plus. It's amazing how it can blend, chop, and mix various ingredients to create delicious dishes in no time.
One feature that truly stands out is its hassle-free cleanup. After a busy day, the last thing I want to do is spend time cleaning my appliances. With the Magic Bullet, I simply rinse it with hot soapy water and put it back together. It truly makes me happy as I can save a lot of time preparing my meals.
However, there are a few downsides I've noticed. The blender can be quite noisy, which can be a bit annoying during the morning or late at night. Additionally, the power may not be sufficient for some tasks, making it necessary to blend the ingredients in a specific order.
Overall, the Magic Bullet blender is an excellent addition to my kitchen, offering convenience and ease of use. While it may have a few minor drawbacks, its pros clearly outweigh the cons, making it a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a reliable and efficient blender.

🔗Coca-Cola Space-Flavored Starlight Soda: A Stellar Tasting Adventure

https://preview.redd.it/gkrbm2l15q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4d6555e702ac021ee5c043eb557db9975d97c62b
Coca-Cola Starlight, a limited edition addition from their Creations line, had me excited to give it a try. I remember the classic Coke taste, so I was curious to know what kind of "space flavor" they came up with. The first thing that caught my attention was the beautifully created can and the refreshing, pink tint to it.
For such a unique product, the taste was surprisingly well balanced in flavors. It was not overpowering and seemed to be a mixture - a classic Coke, which I have grown to love, and a hint of vanilla - creating a perfect balance of sweetness. To be honest, it took me a while to pinpoint the exact taste, but once I did, it felt like it transmitted me to the stars.
However, the aftertaste of a hint of cotton candy didn't impress me as much, mostly because it reminded me of fairground treats that might not blend well with my soda drink. But that's just a minor issue against the product as a whole. The zero sugar version was even better - it really made me remember what a Coke is meant to be like - fresh, clean, and with a kick of caramel.
Overall, I would recommend giving Starlight a try, especially if you're into unique flavors. While I might not be able to put it in my top three of Cokes right now, it is definitely worth experiencing before it disappears like starlight into the night.

🔗Magic Bullet Personal Blender: Compact, Easy-to-Clean, and Powerful

https://preview.redd.it/b212puy15q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=babb71fd65259e1af3c89b7ec6a518c04f0a610c
Last weekend, I tried the Magic Bullet Essential Personal Blender, Silver, and it became my new go-to companion for making quick and delicious meals and snacks. What stood out to me was how easy it was to use - you just pop in the ingredients, twist on the blade, and let it do the magic. I was truly impressed with how fast it was, blending everything in just 10 seconds or less, making my favorite party dips like salsa and pasta sauces in no time. Plus, it takes up minimal counter space, which is perfect for my small kitchen.
The clean-up process was also a breeze, as it's designed to be hassle-free. All you need to do is rinse it with soap and water, or pop it in the dishwasher. The cup itself is even dishwasher-safe, which is a game-changer for me, as it saves me so much time in the kitchen.
However, there were a couple of negatives worth mentioning. On some occasions, it was a bit noisy compared to other blenders I've used. While it's not an issue that would stop me from using it, it's something to be aware of if you're planning to blend when others are around. The other thing that caught me by surprise was the plastic ring that broke off when I removed it from the base. It's a bit of a bummer that it didn't hold up as well as I expected, but it did last for a couple of months before that happened.
Overall, I think the Magic Bullet Essential Personal Blender is a great addition to your kitchen for those quick and easy meals. It does require a bit of practice to get the right balance of ingredients, but once you master it, you'll find yourself turning to it more often than not.

🔗High-Speed NutriBullet Blender for Nutrient-Rich Smoothies and Extracts

https://preview.redd.it/7d8xo8g25q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1563fb54b4a178020e49aada690954edee5d5cf9

As a long-time user of the NutriBullet blender, I've found it to be a reliable and efficient machine for creating nutrient-packed smoothies and blends. Its 600-watt motor and patented blade design make quick work of even the toughest fruits and vegetables, resulting in delicious and healthy beverages.
One of the features I appreciate most is the ease of use and cleaning. Simply load the ingredients, close the lid, and press down to extract the nutrients. The included cups and accessories make it simple to prepare various recipes, from pesto and soups to smoothies and desserts.
However, there are a few drawbacks worth mentioning. The blender's plastic components can feel a bit flimsy, especially compared to older models, and I've had issues with loose rubber parts and potential leaks. Additionally, the noise level can be somewhat annoying during operation, although this may vary depending on the specific model.
Despite these minor concerns, I would still highly recommend the NutriBullet blender to anyone looking for a versatile and nutritious addition to their kitchen. Its ease of use and ability to extract essential vitamins and minerals from a wide range of ingredients make it a worthy investment for those seeking a healthy lifestyle.

🔗Coca-Cola Mini Cans: Iconic Flavor in Small, Portable Packages

https://preview.redd.it/kxed3mo25q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=86f709643efd79992ffe8ee9e772f6ca6a416e56
The mini cans of Coca-Cola might be petite compared to their larger counterparts, but they sure do pack a punch in flavor. I recently tried them after being curious about their tiny size, and let me tell you, they didn't disappoint.
I opened the pack of 30 and was immediately impressed by the convenient size of the cans. They're just the right size for quenching your thirst on-the-go, or for when you're not ready to commit to a full-sized soda. Not only are they small, but they're also super easy to store. Their smaller stature means they fit nicely in the fridge or pantry without taking up too much space.
But let's talk about the taste – that's what really matters, right? These mini cans were just as tasty as a regular-sized Coke. The classic Coke flavor was there in every sip, which was a pleasant surprise. And the smaller size didn't affect the taste at all.
However, there was one minor downside. The price per ounce of these mini cans was higher than their larger counterparts. But if you're someone who's just looking for a smaller serving or likes to mix their sodas, this might not be an issue for you.
Overall, I really enjoyed the Coca-Cola mini cans. Their small size made them perfect for a quick refreshment, and they didn't compromise on taste. Now, I can't wait to try them mixed into cocktails. Cheers to that!

🔗Compact and Versatile Magic Bullet Portable Blender

The Magic Bullet Portable Blender took me by surprise with its sleek and compact design. It's no bigger than a water bottle, yet it boasts enough power to blend smoothies and protein shakes on the go. I especially enjoyed the infuser basket feature, which infused my water with a burst of flavors in just seconds.
However, opening the blender was a bit frustrating at first, but once I figured out the trick, it was smooth sailing from there. Overall, it's a great companion for my busy lifestyle.

🔗Coca-Cola Cuba Pelican Bean Bag: Rare Collectible from 2nd Series (Local Pickup)

Experience the charm of this Coca-Cola Pelican can, a unique souvenir that captures the essence of Cuba. Standing approximately 5 inches tall, it's quite the eye-catcher in any home or office.
This rare find was handcrafted by Cavanaugh in 1999, and since then, it has retired from production. Part of the second international Coca-Cola series of bean bags, it's a conversation starter that adds a touch of sophistication and adventure to any setting. Though it may not hold a refreshing beverage anymore, it certainly holds the spirit of celebration that Coca-Cola represents.

🔗Powerful Personal Blender for Versatile Creations

The Magic Bullet Blender is a game-changer for those looking for a versatile and compact blender to whip up various dishes and drinks. I've been using this little powerhouse for the past couple of weeks, and it has become my go-to kitchen gadget.
One feature that stands out is the high-torque 250-Watt motor, which truly powers the blender's versatility. I've made everything from chunky salsas to creamy dips, and the Magic Bullet has handled each task with ease. The blender's compact size is also a major plus, as it takes up significantly less countertop space than traditional full-size blenders.
The blender is also incredibly easy to use and clean. The simple one-speed setting eliminates any guesswork, and the blades detach effortlessly for quick and easy cleanup. I've even put the cups in the dishwasher without any issues!
However, there are a few drawbacks to this device. First and foremost, it can be quite noisy during operation. While it doesn't bother me too much, it may be a concern for those who prefer a quieter kitchen environment. Additionally, the blender's visual appeal is quite basic, and it might not be the most attractive addition to your kitchen setup.
Despite these minor cons, I wholeheartedly recommend the Magic Bullet Blender to anyone in search of a powerful and versatile personal blender. Its compact size, ease of use, and efficient cleaning make it an essential addition to any kitchen.

🔗Coca-Cola Glass Bottle: 355ml, Iconic Drink for Any Occasion

https://preview.redd.it/8paypr545q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ce77c1d85d884c1b6ca06f7e7638e4198291db0e
As a devoted fan of Coca-Cola, I was thrilled to try this 355ml glass bottle. With its iconic shape, it adds a touch of nostalgia to my daily life. The first sip was nothing short of refreshing, with that classic taste and aroma.
It's the perfect companion for a warm summer day or a cozy movie night. A minor drawback is that the glass bottle can be a bit fragile, but overall, it's a beautiful relic of Coca-Cola's history that makes my drink experience more enjoyable.

🔗Magic Bullet NutriBullet 600W: Boost Your Health with Delicious Smoothies

https://preview.redd.it/hlw7g6o45q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cdd376bcd33ed857c59e7c93c9afdb9d64c9628d
I had heard so much about the NutriBullet and decided to give it a try. I'm a firm believer in healthy living, and this blender seemed like a perfect solution for a quick, nutritious breakfast or snack.
The NutriBullet arrived looking sleek and modern, and I was excited to take it out of the box. The assembly process was simple, and I quickly had a smoothie brewing - full of fruits, vegetables, and superfoods.
One of the most impressive features was the motor. It was powerful and blended my ingredients in seconds, turning whole foods into liquid fuel. That was the highlight of my experience.
However, I did notice some drawbacks. The blender lacked versatility - it could only be adapted to the NutriBullet system, and I found it challenging to clean. Its durability also left something to be desired.
Overall, the NutriBullet has been a reliable tool for me, blending the perfect smoothie. But I do have my reservations about the blender's long-term sustainability. That's why I'm left with mixed feelings about this powerful, compact device – I might not fully recommend it to others yet.

🔗Powerful NutriBullet Blender for Smoothies and Hot Creations

https://preview.redd.it/h76mytx45q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a2be131e084c65f5893fe899ab36740973f0b02a
I recently tried the NutriBullet NBF50400 Blender, and it's been a game-changer in my kitchen. This compact powerhouse has proven to be efficient and convenient for a variety of blending tasks, from making smoothies to crushing ice for refreshing beverages.
One feature that stands out is the redesigned blade and power base working together to create the most delicious superfood smoothies. I love the versatility and ease of use it provides, and even the noise level is tolerable. The only downside I've noticed is the occasional difficulty in getting the blades to unstick when they become locked, but overall, the NutriBullet Blender has made a significant improvement in my daily life.

🔗Coca-Cola Mini Variety Pack: Cherry, Lemon Lime, and Orange Soda Cans for Refreshing Moments

https://preview.redd.it/70dw9tb55q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=635e46499ea0a6bb201a627a9dda18fcbdfa894a
These Coke Minis are an amazing addition to any gathering or meal. They come in a variety of flavors, including lemon-lime Sprite, cherry Coke, and orange Fanta, all of which are made with 100% natural flavors and are caffeine-free. The convenience of having a mini can is perfect for those times when you're on the go or simply don't want to waste a whole can.
One of the pros of this product is the variety pack it comes in, offering a mix of three delicious flavors. I love the fact that it's small enough to carry around easily and yet still has enough to share with friends and family. The taste of all the flavors is refreshing and enjoyable.
However, there are also some cons to this product. For instance, I would have preferred if they were slightly smaller, as sometimes a 100ml size can still leave some beverage left in the can. But overall, this product is a great option for those who want a convenient and tasty beverage option. Highly recommended for parties and gatherings!
