I bought an old Nokia phone today, and i tried to download some java games on it. But whenever I try to access them through file manager, it doesn't give me the choice of running them. It has snake and its in a file called "java" (which i can't find anywhere). Can I open java files on this phone? If so, then how? Or did I get scammed?

Please help. Minecraft has been so odd since these new updates. I tried downloading some mod packs using curse forge and it opened a separate Minecraft launcher where I had to repurchase Minecraft. Obviously I didn’t do that. So I gave up on the mod packs and went to regular Java Minecraft where I tried to put up texture packs like I have done for the past 10 years I’ve had this game. No matter what I did the texture packs wouldn’t load. Then I went into a server where there’s an automatic texture pack. It has worked for me for YEARS. Suddenly the texture pack will not work. If anyone has a solution to this increasingly frustrating problem, please send it my way. I’m about to explode.

1. Created an open-source flight board website/app for a Flight Simulator Multiplayer server that displays information on each flight including departure/arrival times and status. Displays busiest airports and flight routes, and predicts future routes and flight recommendations based on historical data such as ATC availability. Website has 400 users and receives approximately 4.5K visits daily, with a maximum of 1022 distinct users in April. I have also created my own API that gives relevant information such as time remaining and specific departure times that are not shown in the original API that I used to create the flight board.
   
2. Interning at State School’s CS lab this summer and will research and create a final project about how businesses use the data they collect to make future decisions to increase profit. This aligns with my goal of becoming a data scientist and going into the machine learning field, so I thought this would be pretty important.
   
3. Active addon creator for Microsoft Flight Simulator - Developed many addons such as aircraft liveries, realistically modeled airports, and the biggest one being a graphics mod to make the sim look more realistic. ~2500 downloads for all mods
   
4. Computer Science Club: Competed in multiple competitive coding competitions such as UTD Battle of the Brains, A&M Codewars, Lockheed Martin Codequest, Computer Science UIL, and many other online ones such as Devpost and CyberPatriots (did this with my friends for fun, unfortunately didnt win anything). I have also demoed my personal projects in this club and have helped members with learning Python and HTML, since our school’s curriculum is only based on Java.
   
5. Personal Computer Science Projects - Just a couple of projects that I made in the past few years that have helped me improve my understanding of coding. My school only offers Java, so these projects were incredibly helpful when it came to understanding R, Python, and JavaScript. My favorite project is a volunteer log tool that breaks down my total hours based on the number of hours that I have volunteered at my local food packing facility and how many boxes each table can pack. Using this information, I can derive how many boxes I have personally helped make and how many children I have fed through my contributions.
   
6. Created a review guide for AP Physics 1 that compiled the most important formulas and concepts from our lessons and resources. I also compiled an entire mock exam’s worth of MCQ and FRQ questions to test the hardest questions from each unit. On exam day, there were 54 people on the doc, so there were at least 50 people I impacted with this. I have also recently started a tutoring service for people who are struggling with physics and people who are taking Physics in the future (doing it on Saturday and Sunday every week).
   
7. Volunteering at a local food packing facility for ~105 hours. Volunteered at every position including pourer, bagger, weigher, and warehouse crew.
   
8. Volunteering at NHS organized events for 15 hours.
   
9. Completed Harvard’s CS50 course back in sophomore year (my website stated above evolved from my final project for CS50, which was a flight board on command prompt lol)

What this is for:
Minecraft is running an event for reaching 15 years since the 1.0 release, and with it come various items, such as cosmetic character creator items for bedrock edition players, and a few unique, limited-edition capes for both, java edition and bedrock edition players.
Why I want this cape:
I would really like the Minecraft TikTok cape. I like the colors and the way it looks, and how it reminds me of 3d films where you have to wear the red and blue glasses, or else the film looks weird. It is also just a very nice color scheme in general, at least in my opinion.
Why I am unable to get it for myself:
The only problem? You can only get it if you have the TikTok app downloaded onto your phone, and it is unobtainable on desktop. I do not have a way of downloading TikTok onto my phone, since it has been banned where I live. Plus I would rather not download it onto my phone considering all the allegations against TikTok.
How to get the cape code:
It is easy enough to get, you just have to watch a TikTok Minecraft live streamer in your region with drops enabled for 3 minutes, or comment "Minecraft", depending on what the task to receive the code is. then you should be able to click claim to receive the code.
So if you have a TikTok account and have the TikTok app downloaded to your phone, and either don't play Minecraft, or aren't interested in getting the cape for yourself, would you be willing to get the cape code for me?
If you are unable to get the code, or if you already redeemed it for yourself, thank you for at least taking some time out of your day to read this post.

Please check manually if your webserver serves `.mjs` files using the JavaScript MIME type. To allow this check to run you have to make sure that your webserver can connect to itself. Therefor it must be able to resolve and connect to at least one its `trusted_domains` or the `overwrite.cli.url`. 

My config.php file looks normal, didn't change anything.

Hi, I downloaded a bunch of datapacks from Vanilla Tweaks including my current nemesis More Mob Heads. It worked fine when I installed it, then next day (irl) it wasn't so I removed and put it back in and it's working again. Then today it's stopped working again (got suspicious so gave myself a parrot spawn egg to confirm it wasn't working) all other datapacks are working, all previously obtained mob heads are also there and still showing the correct head. I have the More Mob Heads datapacks in my backup folder so I can copy and paste it everytime it breaks.
BUT does anyone know why this keeps happening and how do I fix it?

When I view the download in the microsoft store queue, it gets stuck at "Acquiring license" and then it just says "something happened on our end". The error code is 0x80070005. I tried downloading it from the launcher, from the xbox app, from the microsoft store app, everything brings the same error. I logged out of all apps individually and all at once multiple times, reset the microsoft store, uninstalled and reinstalled the minecraft launcher, uninstalled and reinstalled the xbox app, tried creating a new folder where I gave myself full control from the properties section and tried using it as the install folder for the xbox app, did a refresh windows update which keeps all the files but reinstalls windows, I tried uninstalling all involved apps at once, singed out of all, deleting the .minecraft folder and redoing everything. The java version installs and works fine. These are all the things I tried, anything else I can do?

When I decided to boot up Minecraft Java for some shaders, the GPU and CPU have low usage and the FPS is not even high(100 ish), I turned up the render distance hoping to get my GPU to work harder; usage stayed the same and the FPS dropped.

this is what is displaying. I don't know how to fix it.

Am I the dumbest person ever? The instructions say download & install JRE 17 or higher, extract then install DataLoader, and voila. I've done this 10 times now and the DataLoader install screen just flashes up then instantly disappears before you can read any sort of message. What am I missing?
edit with resolution: when I installed Azul Zulu JDK, it defaulted to NOT setting the JAVA_HOME variable; when I re-ran the install with that option checked, then ran the DataLoader install process, it worked fine, no issues

Hi - first time posting on here so I apologize if it's not up to standard. Lmk if any formatting issues.
I've been having problems with installing mods. Basically when I download a mod and put it into the mods folder it doesn't show up in the actual Minecraft directory - but I found the issue was deeper than I thought.
I'm using Fabric and playing on version 1.20.1. I've made sure that all mods that I've downloaded are for Fabric and are the correct version, as well as seeing if they are compatible with other mods.
I think I sort of know what the issue is, but I'm not very tech-savvy and this is my first ever sort-of PC (playing on laptop) after being used to playing on my phone and using Bedrock - so I'm not quite acquainted with Java Edition.
I've managed to sort of "solve" the problem with the Farmer's Delight mod which is the first mod that I started having this problem with. Basically the pack.mcmeta file had a formatting issue which didn't allow it to be scanned by Minecraft and as such would not appear in the Minecraft resource pack directory in the actual game. It took me absolutely FOREVER to find the pack.mcmeta file as when I opened the Farmer's Delight file it just wouldn't show up. I would get assets and a whole bunch of other stuff but after using win.rar and doing a whole bunch of extracting (I don't fully understand myself - I followed multiple tutorials) the pack.mcmeta file finally showed up. There was a formatting issue and I edited it (with the help of a tutorial) and manually put the pack.mcmeta file into the Farmer's Delight folder. I finally got it to show up in Minecraft, albeit with a default cobblestone icon with "Farmer's Delight Resources" as the description instead of the actual mod (I assume). Better than nothing.
Now I'm trying to install Croptopia and having the exact same issue. My idiot self doesn't know what the heck I did to get Farmer's Delight to work. I think the issue stems from .jar files? But I'm using Mizuno's 16 Craft which worked just fine and I'm fairly sure that was a .jar file at first.
When I open the file for Mizuno's I get 4 things in the folder: assets (file folder), pack (PNG file), pack.mcmeta, and readme (text document). When I open the Croptopia file I get: .cache (file folder), assets (file folder), com (file folder), data (file folder), META-INF (file folder), resource packs (file folder), croptopia.accesswidener (accesswidener file), Croptopia.mixins.json, croptopia_v3.conf, Croptopia-refmap.json, fabric.mod.json.
When I try to install practically any other mod, it's basically the same file types, just with different names according to the mod (e.g sodium.accesswidener). I've been having this problem with the following mods: Farmer's Delight (works, as previously mentioned in this post, but I'm not sure if it's solved correctly), Sodium, Croptopia, and EpheroLib (needed for Croptopia to even work).
Am I installing mods correctly? I'm doing it the same way I did for Mizuno's 16 Craft and the Mizuno's CIT. Is it a file issue? I'm downloading from either CurseForge (making sure that I select the version for Fabric and 1.20.1) or if the mod has its own site I'm downloading it from there.
