RV Towing and Vehicle Selection

2024.05.21 14:35 willyq711 RV Towing and Vehicle Selection

Greetings all,
So I grew up with RV trailers in the family (3) and now that I have my own fam, looking to get a pre-owned one to see how it goes. Things have changed since the 80's and 90's, but nothing beats good times and memories in the RV life....
I'm looking to get a 26-30' trailer (Jayco, Coleman, etc) that sleeps 8-10 weighting an average of 5500 lbs, with a 625 lb tongue/hitch weight. Of course have to add on perhaps 1000+ lbs for other items (food, luggage, water, etc) over the dry weight, and perhaps another 200 lbs to that tongue weight for filled tanks and batteries.
My question here is that I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a 1500, for which, it will either be a RAM 3.0 Ecodiesel or 3.6 V6. I only will tow the RV around 4-6 times a year, and this truck will be my daily driver so it needs to have the best mpg possible (I'm in commercial real estate and am on the road often with mixed city/Hwy driving). The ecodiesel is at 9600 lb (3.92 gears) towing capacity, but diesels require more and higher cost maintenance, higher fuel prices and come with their own set of issues now and then (but it gets 22/29 mpg). The V6 tows 7730 lbs (3.55 gears) or 6840 woth the 3.21 gears, and gets 19/24, but those engines are flawless and it's around $5K less than the diesel. I may consider pre-owned as well, but even then the pricing difference is still the same.
I'm wondering if the 3.92 gears on the diesel will hurt my mpg, even with the better efficiency on the diesel. I'd probably prefer the gasoline V6 with 3.21 gears, but that maxes out at a towing of 6840 lbs. Like I said, I do need a truck, but want to maximize my daily mpg as much as possible. I could care less as to the mpg when towing, but don't want to have the truck maxing out on my towing trips either.
Anyone that can chime would be great.

2024.05.21 14:31 starr_fire__ Whiplash Query

Hi!
My husband had an accident back in August 2020. This was that tiny patch we had in-between lockdowns in the UK. He was driving in his own lane, when other vehicle hit drivers side rear trying to switch lanes to avoid a van turning right and stopping in the lane. Insurance has already decided that this accident was fault of other driver.
Other driver initially wanted to repair outside of insurance. Then took 2 years for them to disclose the ID of the driver and hand over their dashcam footage which showed my husbands account of events were true - the other diver has initially tried to say someone else was driving and that he had moved to avoid an ambulance and that caused the accident... There was no ambulance.
Unfortunately the day of the accident, my husband is dislexic quite significantly. He tried to submit accident forms without my help (I was suffering badly from depression at the time so he was trying to lessen reliance on me during this time). And he ended up submitting claim not via his insurance but by a company on behalf. Top sponsor search on Google when he typed it in. Claim is submitted, we get courtesy car, and then no contact for 2 weeks. We then call and find out their cancelled the claim because we didn't reply to their email. It went to junk... They didn't even call us to tell us, just cancelled and left the courtesy car with us. So very strange!
This meant that our claim to the actual car insurance was 1 whole month later! From this date we had to pay excess for damage repair, and my husband did have a lot of pain in his shoulder. He had initially taken just 2 days off work (self employed double glazer) and the sort of man who works through pain, and also had no choice but to work as his last company went into liquidation that he subcontracted for (I ended up supporting all bills for several months) and he felt he couldn't take any time off.
Due to COVID rules, when we told them about his pain, he had to have physio and insurance dr - he didn't even think to book in GP as they were not doing in person appointments and didn't want to waste their time. His physio sessions were via zoom and he didn't actually see the insurance Dr until months after the accident when his injury was better. But he was still living in pain, just taking pain meds and sucking it up.
2 months after accident date he went to an ice hockey training session. He didn't do much, just skated and was mostly social to see the boys. And we did an escape room together literally the day before lockdown 2.0. which wasn't taxing, it was 1 room and clues were in places like opening a cupboard door or drawer, no height or hard to reach things.
We submitted a claim for whiplash for the initial injury and pain suffered. We did not stipulate any ongoing pain past 3 months because it has healed more and more as time went on and he did the physio exercises.
Other party had family members harass us online and message us, commenting we were frauds and criminals, on birthday posts for our own family and mother day posts. We had to file a police report and report to our insurance to ask them to stop. Which they did but one of them couldn't help but pop a message saying he was watching us every now and then.... Very creepy.
So the point we have been trying to make us that we have just had to crack on while my partner has been in pain, due to self employment. And it's taken nearly 4 years to get this claim to a court date because the other party has been dragging their feet! And only now have just submitted 'evidence' that we are fraudulently claiming whiplash because: not seen a Dr after the accident for basically 4/5 months (due to COVID and we did see the insurance physio and Dr for insurance after a time), he went to one hockey training session and one escape room.
Our legal team has advised now to try and drop it because the courts are now saying any claims from COVID era have no real proof of injury due to phone/zoom appointments. And if we go ahead and they say we have no case we will have to pay £££ legal fees.
Does anyone have any advice? We are happy to drop it, but we only wanted to claim for the initial injury and the 3 months he had to live in pain and still work because we had bills to pay. My business was also closed most of 2020 due to rules.
Thank you

The metal Olympics are taking place in the wild world of commodities, with gold, silver and copper-based bronze all scoring a place on the podium. New highs continue to be notched in the latest games, though there is skepticism about the results and the possibilities of a rigged performance. However, for those betting on which medal might be awarded next, there is plenty to consider for all the competitors:
Gold: The yellow metal just hit levels of over $2,450 per ounce despite a strong American economy and U.S. dollar. Analysts have pointed to a coming Fed pivot on interest rates, as well as geopolitical tensions that have increased demand for the safe haven. Not only are investors getting involved, but there has been a large amount of buying from central banks, while the retail crowd is even getting in on the action with gold bars from Costco (COST).
Silver: The metal has outperformed gold in recent weeks, bringing its total gain to 32% YTD, compared to gold's 18% return. It also benefits from all the safe haven attributes of its shiny cousin, such as a popular hedge against inflation, along with some distinctive practical qualities of its own. Silver is used for industrial purposes, like solar panel cells, and is relatively cheap in ounces when compared to pricey gold.
Copper: The latest rip has made numerous headlines after hitting all-time highs on exchanges across the globe. Fear of supply shortages and trade disputes has helped generate buzz around the industrial bellwether, which is also key for the green transition and rising electrification needs. Copper is used in EVs, wind turbines, power transmission and AI data centers, meaning there are actual supply and demand fundamentals to assess when evaluating the worth of the red metal.
Too shiny? The commodity competition can experience chaotic events, with scandals and manipulation hitting items like nickel and cocoa in recent years. There is speculation that this might be going on this time around, triggered by leveraged contract buying, short squeeze momentum, or price premiums on different exchanges. Others see a lot of metal potential that has even resulted in some real-world M&A action, such as BHP's (BHP) $39B proposed takeover of Anglo American (OTCQX:AAUKF), which would create the world's top copper producer.
Wall Street leadership Succession plans are "well on the way" at JPMorgan (JPM), with Jamie Dimon saying it's up to the board to determine how much longer he'll remain CEO. "I think when I can't put the jersey on and give it my full effort, I should leave," he announced at the bank's Investor Day, adding that the timetable "is not five years anymore." Dimon also outlined that the lender will not repurchase a lot of stock at current prices, noting that such a buyback - at a valuation of 2.3 times tangible book value - would be "a mistake." JPM shares slipped 4.5% following the comments on Tuesday, but are up more than 40% over the past year. (60 comments)
Pulling a 180? Cryptocurrencies are back in rally mode as traders increasingly bet on the approval of the first spot ether ETF. While the industry previously did not expect the SEC to give the green light, the regulator has reportedly requested that ETF issuers update 19b-4 filings on an accelerated basis. The development signals some progress, but it doesn't mean it's a done deal. Ether (ETH-USD) is still up big on the news, soaring 20% to $3,708. The SEC's decision on VanEck's spot ether ETF application is expected on Thursday, and one from ARK Invest is due on Friday. (1 comment)
Bear capitulation One of Wall Street's prominent bears has finally turned positive on his outlook for the stock market as indexes continue to hit record highs. Mike Wilson, equity strategist at Morgan Stanley, now calls for the S&P 500 (SP500) to rise to 5,400, higher than his previous year-end target of 4,500, which was one of the lowest on Wall Street. The forecast is derived from a 19x P/E multiple on 12-month forward EPS based on June 2026 of $283. "This earnings path is based on our economists' growth forecasts, output from our earnings models, and our view that AI diffusion will boost margins starting in 2025," Wilson declared. (48 comments)

2024.05.21 14:19 Fit-Bag-4233 Posted from FFIE

Well that was fun! Here’s today’s recap, + What might come
Well that was fun. Here’s a Recap, + What might come
DISCLAIMER ⚠️ I AM NOT A FINANCIAL ADVISOR, THIS IS NOT FINANCIAL ADVISE
To any other FFIE investors with more knowledge on what’s going on right now, as well as more experience in retail investing, please feel free to correct me on, or to add onto any point in this post.
Okay - We made it. It wasn’t easy, definitely a little scary, but the market is closed (after hours are open but we will get to that later), and now we rest. But I know a lot of you crazy apes weren’t paying too much attention to every second of the day, that’s where I help out. Here’s a little recap of how today went:
After ending the day at $1.03 per share Friday, we opened up strong during today’s pre-market hours at $1.73 per share. What does this mean? Well it means a lot of you crazy little apes had orders placed, or the even crazier ones were up during pre-market placing orders in. Now that’s serious dedication 😳
Now, I know what you’re thinking. “All the other apes said today we were going to the moon! We’re still under $2! Where’s our money??” Not so fast silly little ape. Come, let me teach you about volume. 👨‍🏫
Today’s volume was a WHOPPING 677.89M.😱 What’s “today’s volume” ? Volume is the total of buys & sells of a stock in a certain time period. For a stock like FFIE, 677.89M is a BIG number. And because a lot of us HELD like we were supposed to, we finished regular market hours at +65.05% than friday evening. 👏🏼👏🏼 But why wasn’t it more? Why didn’t FFIE boom like other silly little apes promised? It’s simple, keep following me and you’ll understand, I promise. 🙂‍↕️
Because of the short ladder attack against us on Friday, the SEC gave us a hand and sanctioned a new uptick rule (see here - https://www.reddit.com/FFIE/s/nw6Rt12bmm ). This leaves the big bad suits with 2 options (paraphrased from u/Maximum-Purpose-1568 , Thank you sima’am): “ 1. They can cut their losses, and buy up the shares at current market value (this is the beginning of a cascade where the "squeezers" all get rich). Essentially, any share that a hedge fund purchases to mitigate their losses will increase the value of our shares. 2. They can continue to hold their shorted stock "loans" and hope the market drops again next week. If this is the case, you will need to continue to hold your shares until they crack (they pay a lot of money for each day they continue to short)”
So what happened? What does all this crazy talk mean!?!? Well given what happened today (a steady change in stock price throughout market hours, and very little volatility compared to recent days), this only means the Big Bad Suits chose option 2. They don’t think we’re serious and they’re doubling down. So what now? 🤔 We triple down. 😤
You see my fellow banana peelers, this was never a scam. This was never a get rich overnight scheme. This is quite literally, a fight between the rich, and the poor. The wolves in suits collectively believe we will give up, sell, and walk away, ultimately leaving them to walk away Scott free. Oh no, not this time. 👎🏼
So what do we do? Well, I can only tell you what CAN HAPPEN.
I AM NOT A FINANCIAL ADVISOR. THIS IS NOT FINANCIAL ADVISE
Right now at the rate that you crazy apes are going, we can keep FFIE above a dollar for 7 more closing nights. What would this mean? This would mean the Hedge’s have 7 days until FFIE officially can no longer be delisted from NASDAQ.👏🏼 Now because these Hedge’s betted AGAINST FFIE, this is absolutely not good news for them because they’d have to pay back the stocks they shorted, plus the interest (which all depends on how much we can make this stock rise). This is what we’re all waiting for. “The Short Squeeze.” 🍋🍋
“Big Ape! Too many words!!” Okay Okay, i’ll dumb it down for you. The smartest moves for us little guys to collectively make would be to buy, and hold. 💎🤲🏼 “But if we all buy and hold then how come there are still dips?” Because the Hedge’s will sell their shares. This causes the price of the stock to fall. They do this purposefully to make us panic, and sell. “So what do WE do about that?” Simple, we eat those shares right up. Remember, the Hedge’s are hoping we ignore these sold shares, as well as sell our owned shares, they don’t really want to lose the shares they sell. The way to genuinely stick it to them besides holding, is to buy during the dip. “How do I know its the best time to buy??” No one knows when a dip will end. The best thing to do is to go with your gut feeling and to buy when YOU feel comfortable. Remember, a dip is bound to come back up as long as we Hold and Buy, so don’t get too greedy when it comes to the best price per share. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD

2024.05.21 14:19 retronaco Overactive bladder

On may 9th I started to have to go to the washroom more frequently I noticed that I had to go roughly every hour… I started feeling back pain on my right side more of a pressure pain. I initially thought I may be getting a kidney stone and boy was I wrong! I’m going to tell you guys my experience and how crazy this has been… here’s a little context. I am currently going through a divorce (which was my own doing), financially I am tight as I have to uphold two mortgages one being my own and other being portion of a rental property I own. However the rental property is not a positive cash flow atm due to high interest rates. A lot has happened in May. I had to buy a new dryer as my drying machine just went, also a new microwave (over stove). I work in sales and with high interest everyone is so tight with money and people aren’t spending nearly as much as they were a year ago. I could go on about more but no need. So may 9th it began, all day that day I had to constantly go to washroom almost every hour, I smoked some weed and went to bed. That night I ended up wetting myself a little overnight (this was a first) I panicked and snapped out of it however the next few days I would continue to have back pain and constantly peeing, unfortunately I started doing some google reading on this and I had pre determined myself that maybe I had a kidney stone and just needed to drink more fluids and try to get better. It went on until Wednesday may 15th at this stage my lower back pain had increased and I started noticing pain in my abdomen area also. I went to doctors and did some sampling. They found microscopic blood in my urine but weren’t sure what it could be and sent it in for further testing on top of that in Canada the long weekend was coming which typically means you won’t get lab results until mid next week (this week). Now this continued as I was freaking out about blood in my urine and more googling which made things worse… Friday May 17th comes around. At this stage I was extremely worried and was going to washroom every 30 mins until night time. Night time was horrible (I don’t wish this on my worst enemy) at night time while trying to go to sleep I started to go to washroom every 5-10mins and shortly after around 1AM Saturday I couldn’t get off toilet the back pain had increased and abdomen pain had increased. It left like my bladder was just squeezing everything out! I panicked further! I spiralled and broke down, I went to the hospital. Once I got to hospital and told them my symptoms they believed I was passing a kidney stone but they wanted to confirm and do a CT scan, blood work, and a urine sample. Few hours later my results were in… everything was fine. The doctor said he was not sure exactly what was happening but thinks I have something called “interstitial cystitis” however said I should speak to my family doctor and see a urologist. This is where I started doing more research as I couldn’t take going to washroom so much… I came across urinary frequency and one of the causes was anxiety and stress… I’ve always told my self that I have never had anxiety and never have experienced it. On google I came across a Reddit and it was someone who has experienced similar things and it turned out to be just anxiety. Currently as I am typing this I am improving quite a bit I no longer have to go every 5-10 mins. I go roughly every 2 hours. I am still in recovery as I do have moments where I need to go within 20 mins of just going to the washroom. However I have not taken any medicine I have slowly learned to accept things and get better and this has helped a lot with my anxiety. I have learned that somethings I cannot control but everything will be ok. I started to keep busy (deep clean the house, do all laundry, cooking, lawn work) and that really helped grounding me. Also one thing that helped me is start to relieving some weight. I’ve had weight on my shoulders about leaving my wife so I apologized to her last night saying that I am sorry for making her feel like her world is getting destroyed as we have a child which we will have to share custody. I also am writing this to get better. Please know guys if you are going through this it will all be ok! You have to overcome what is bothering you and accept it. The mind is very powerful, we can make ourselves sick even when we aren’t. I’m sure this isn’t my last time with this but I hope my experience helps you! And know you will be ok.

2024.05.21 14:18 restform L400 with 300kms (185k miles). Would appreciate input from users.

I've fallen in love with these vans, looking to spend the better part of a year driving around Australia and the idea of a Delica just puts a huge smile on my face. Organizing a viewing for a '95 L400 nearing 300k km.
I would get a professional pre-inspection before purchase. Owner mentions the engine has been serviced recently but I haven't had a look myself yet for the usual culprits, gasket/seal leaks, rust, etc.
The price is honestly very fair for the current market and comes with generous accessories.
Assuming these basic inspections go fine, how ridiculous is it to buy a 30-year-old vehicle? What kind of experiences have you (more recent owners) had buying old delicas'?

These are more for similar worlds. I'm thinking along the lines of:
I've loved some of the crossovers between Bungo stray dogs and it's mafia/crime/grey world and other similar worlds like the DC (Idiosyncrasy on ao3).
Not really into MHA crossovers since its a pretty easy target and I'm sick of school settings.

Overnight Summer Camps in Maryland
As summer approaches, parents everywhere are considering how to keep their children engaged, active, and learning during the long break from school. One increasingly popular option is sending children to overnight summer camps. In Maryland, the variety and quality of these camps offer something for everyone. At Camp Shohola, we believe in the transformative power of summer camp experiences and want to help you navigate your options. This guide will provide an in-depth look at what overnight summer camps in Maryland have to offer, ensuring you can make an informed decision for your child.
The Benefits of Overnight Summer Camps Overnight summer camps provide a unique environment where children can develop independence, social skills, and self-confidence. Away from the familiarity of home, kids are encouraged to step out of their comfort zones, try new activities, and make new friends. These experiences are invaluable for personal growth and often result in lifelong memories.
At Camp Shohola, we have observed how campers return year after year, each time more mature, confident, and eager to embrace new challenges. This transformation is one of the key benefits of the overnight camp experience.
Types of Camps Available Maryland offers a wide variety of overnight camps, each catering to different interests and needs:
Traditional Camps: These camps provide a well-rounded experience with a mix of outdoor activities, arts and crafts, sports, and more. They are perfect for children who enjoy variety and want to try a bit of everything.
Specialty Camps: For children with specific interests, such as sports, arts, science, or technology, specialty camps focus on developing particular skills and knowledge. This can be particularly beneficial for children passionate about a specific area.
Adventure Camps: These camps are designed for thrill-seekers and nature lovers. Activities often include hiking, rock climbing, canoeing, and survival skills. They provide an excellent opportunity for children to connect with nature and develop resilience.
Academic Camps: Aimed at students who wish to enhance their academic skills during the summer, these camps offer programs in subjects like math, science, and language arts. They combine learning with fun, making education an enjoyable experience.
Choosing the Right Camp When choosing an overnight camp for your child, consider the following factors:
Interests and Hobbies: Select a camp that aligns with your child's interests. If they love sports, a camp with a strong athletic program might be ideal. For budding artists, a camp focusing on the arts can be very rewarding.
Camp Philosophy: Different camps have different philosophies and approaches. Some emphasize competition, while others focus on cooperation and personal growth. Make sure the camp's values align with your own.
Location and Facilities: Consider the camp's location and the facilities it offers. While some parents prefer camps closer to home, others might opt for a more remote setting. Ensure the camp has safe and well-maintained facilities.
Staff and Supervision: The quality of the camp staff is crucial. Look for camps with experienced, trained, and friendly staff members. The camper-to-counselor ratio is also important to ensure adequate supervision and personalized attention.
Duration and Cost: Overnight camps can range from one week to the entire summer. Consider what length of time works best for your child and family. Additionally, camp costs can vary widely, so ensure the camp fits within your budget.

Preparing Your Child for Camp Preparing your child for their first overnight camp experience can ensure they have a positive and enjoyable time. Here are some tips:
Involve Your Child in the Decision: Let your child help choose the camp. When they feel involved in the decision-making process, they are more likely to be excited and less anxious about going.
Visit the Camp: If possible, visit the camp before the summer session starts. Familiarizing your child with the camp environment can reduce anxiety and build excitement.
Pack Together: Involve your child in packing for camp. Make sure to include all the essentials and a few comfort items from home, like a favorite stuffed animal or family photo.
Talk About Expectations: Discuss what camp life will be like, including daily routines, activities, and living arrangements. This helps set realistic expectations and reduces uncertainty.
Practice Independence: Encourage your child to practice independence skills, such as making their bed, managing personal hygiene, and packing their belongings.

2024.05.21 14:04 Complete_Customer_73 Do I buy the duplex

Do I buy the duplex
My boyfriend and I currently live in a 1,275/month apartment that I love. My long term goal has to always been to own rental properties. My boyfriend’s best friend recently closed on a home and offered to sell us his duplex for $25,000 below value which would be $405,000. (We would put around 10% down) He stated he needs to know if we want it or not in 48 hours or less due to closing on the other house. Mortgage would be around $3k and we would rent the other half out for 1,750-1800 (3bd 1.5 bath). With this we are only paying around 1,200 for the mortgage but we aren’t making any money. My question is would it be better to wait and continue to save money for somthing else that may be cheaper or move forward with the duplex for someone we know. He has been very upfront with what the duplex does and doesn’t need so we have that out of the way.
No we are not pre approved yet I am going to contact a lender tomorrow. With our income I think we will be just fine but if we can’t get the loan we have our answer. I just don’t know if I should jump on It or not? Please give me all the advice

2024.05.21 13:53 ChemicalAd2047 How would you rank each of Courtney's game?

I'll go by my personal ranking.
  1. Island:
Her island game was by far her best. In both of the social and physical aspects, she dominated. There's a strong arguments to be made that if she wasn't eliminated, her, duncan, and his friends, plus bridgette could've dominated the merge. Personally it was the only time I genuinely enjoyed her character.
  1. World Tour (pre-love triangle)
Her game play in this section of World tour was almost as good as island. She had a blossoming friendship with Gwen, meaning they would never vote each other. And an easy vote out, Heather, and after Heather is out, she teams up with Cody and chops Sierra off. If they lose again, Cody is out. Leaving her and Gwen as the final two of team Amazon. It's to bad she was preoccupied with Duncan in certain episodes. This was the last time I really enjoyed her.
  1. World Tour (after love triangle)
Seems controversial to put this as third but not really. She managed to chop her new nemesis in Gwen, and got to the merge. She won the first immunity, sending her off into a great start. Mind you, if she put in effort she more than likely would've won the China episode and receive immunity two weeks in a row. To bad she was easily manipulated by Alejandro.
  1. All stars
Truth be told, I found her game play this season to be abysmal. Spent to much time worried about Gwen and Duncan. When she stopped worrying about them, she never branched out and socialized. Her only allies were Gwen, once they made up, and Scott as a romantic partner. Sadly Scott became a moron this season and Mal manipulates him. Her getting swapped to the Villains team was to her benefit. If she stayed with the heroes she more than likely would've been chopped. Finally her creating a chart that showed her only using everyone else to her advantage and not destroying was all on her.
  1. Action
This is quite possibly her at her worst. The first episode she's in, she's unanimously voted out. She only survived because she was suing Chris and got unfair advantages the whole time. The second her advantages were done and she was on her own, she was eliminated. Her physical game was her best, but her social game was gutter trash. Her only ally in Duncan was fighting/flopping for her life every episode to. How those two made final four was beyond crazy. Even Heather, the most hated contestant at the time, made two allies in Harold and Leshanwa that season

2024.05.21 13:48 Fickle-Bobcat-4724 What're your thoughts on the internet?

This is a bit of a random question, but considering Death Grips often critiques the internet in their lyrics, I wonder what this sub thought. I personally hate it, though I unfortunately spend a lot of my time on it due to a lot of my friends being made online. I don't want to seem annoying or out of touch when I say that. I just truly see very few pros to it. For example - and this is the main reason I dislike it, or one of the main reasons - you'll often hear that the internet can be a vehicle for change. But I disagree, though I once agreed. The reason for my change in thinking is that the internet, in a way, takes away the need to actually go out in the real world and fight the horrors out there. This might be a hot take (though I don't think it will be here), but I think that we should be rioting over the genocide going on in Gaza. Yet it seems all we do is scream online or at most cause a slight annoyance in the real world by holding a few signs and chanting a few words at a protest. And it's doing nothing. But I feel as though we've been fooled into thinking that it is doing something, or that it's the most we can do. This isn't to say it's performance activism or anything - just that we've been fooled.
That might have nothing to do with the internet though. I was born with it, so I don't really know how things were without it, because I sadly haven't educated myself enough on history. I just remember reading a Walt Whitman line where he said something along the lines of "revolution should never be taken from the people", and I thought, damn, it definitely has been. I don't know to what extent that sentiment was actually put into practice back in the nineteenth century, but still, at least the sentiment was there (because Whitman as far as I know wasn't what was considered radical, so I don't think that sentiment would've been considered odd). We don't even have that.
I could see one pro being that we have access to uncensored information, but I don't know if we would've had that before the internet. It seems that we might've, considering people seemed well-informed and it seems like a lot of leftist movements had their prime pre-internet. But I really don't know. I should look into history to find some answers.
I'm totally open to being wrong about all of this, which is why I ask the question. I want to spark a discussion on a topic that I don't think gets talked about much here and is such a key component to Death Grips' lyrics, and I also just want to figure out my own beliefs.
