So here we go!
Finishing up month 3 and I’ve been SLACKING. I have been taking my pills at work and been forgetting to bring them home on the weekends leading to overeating a bit sometimes. Still sticking to mainly water but not a full gallon as I usually do. However, unsweet tea has worked its way in since I am from the south and do still have a love for sweet tea that I have kicked to the curb. In these 3.5 months (almost four) I’ve lost a total of 27lbs and am almost under 200 for the first time in 4 years which is huge considering the weight I have had on for all this time is from medical intervention due to an illness/condition that is incurable. By losing the weight I’ve noticed so much more comfort in things that I’ve missed which is a huge bonus. I haven’t been working out but that’s also because work has been CRAZY. We’ve had a ridiculous amount of mandatory overtime which resulted in me working 110 hours in the last two weeks… I know.. I said ridiculous. I haven’t picked up my month 3 bottle yet because of forgetting my pills at work so often so I’m planning on getting those soon. Anyways I hope everyone is doing good!! First mammogram

To preface, I am 23 years old.
I have a very stronger history of family breast cancer, Gma passed away from it (diagnosed 32), my mom has had breast cancer SIX times (among having three other types of cancer as well (she’s less than 50)), and the first time she was 27. My mom and sister tested positive for BRCA1 and I’m currently working on getting tested but y’all know insurance. But anywho, I recently found a Nickle size mass, and figured I’d bring it up to my doctor. During her exam, she pointed out a wayyy bigger mass. I have felt this for a while now but my old doctors in my home state told me it was nothing and at the time it was tiny, so I’ve always thought it was my breast tissue. The big mass covers multiple quadrants of my breast, both lower quads, and the mass i felt I thought it was a lymph node but I don’t know and I have to wait for my apps. I also have a small ball (I’m assuming lymph node?) in my arm pit that is hard.
And I’m well aware that it could be any number of things, just with my family history, Some of my symptoms are: Random boob pain Dimpling My lower half seems squishier? Also looks a little discolored compared to the other one. getting wayyyyyy more sick lately than I have my whole life I have had night sweats for almost 2 years now I have also lost 70 pounds since first noticing symptoms with 40 of those pounds being since November! I now have a BMI of 17 🥲. Working hard on gaining weight but get so sick or full so quickly and nothing sounds good or taste good.
I know not to compare myself to anyone because every case is different and I’m not only my families bad genes, I just want to know other opinions, and stories so I know what to expect for my mammogram and if anyone else has had anything similar to this! I have my mammogram in two days so I am definitely getting more anxious about it all! I hate being so young dealing with this, and trying to understand that I could be the lucky one but just trying to look at the facts and family history with continuous young diagnosis (sister had double mast after precancerous cells and positive brca1 at 25). In just so conflicted and kind of mourning the fact that my last summer before I start my career will be filled with test and imaging and drs apps and I knows that’s selfish but I just graduated college not retired from being the professor. I don’t want to deal with this right now of all times but i know this is something not to play with or wait on.

Hi reddit, my 12 year old schnauzer has been going through some sudden health issues that seem to be worsening than it started and I would appreciate if I could get some feedback on making further decisions.
Two weeks ago, he had black diarrhea so I took him to the vet. Upon examinations, his liver rates were too high, so they prescribed Zentonil, Metronidazole and a GI paste to try out for a month. Since the visit to the vet, he has not been eating at all. This included everything but water; until about a week ago, water included. He doesn't even look at his favourite snack, I tried blending meat or rice into a soup, Hill's prepared foods, bone broth, making the kibbles softer, giving little portions on my hands-everything. For the first week, since the last two medications needed to be eaten with/after food, I spooned puree into his throat with the pill. I think the pills stopped the diarrhea but since then, he would puke everything that went in, even in small portions. Soon after I saw the yellow stomach bile being vomited I stopped force feeding entirely. Since then, no puking. However, this means he has no source of nutrition which lead to his drastic weight loss. He is usually 8.5kg. At the vet, he was 7.4kg. This morning, I weighed him, he was 6.2kg. He seriously can't even walk anymore but keeps his eye wide open the whole time. He breathes really hard. His hind leg shivers. The Metronidazole and GI paste finished in a little over a week, and just about then was when he stopped puking because I stopped force feeding; I also stopped the Zentonil as well. I have a month's supply of Zentonil and the vet told me to try for a month but his serious appetite loss is concerning me and I don't know what to do.
I called the vet about a week ago about his appetite issue and they said they can either give him an IV drop that will probably just last a few hours; or to do an ultrasound (but they don't know what they're looking for so it could come out clean). My boy had a half-year long visit due to a neurology-related issue, only after spending 6k and numerous exams the specialist told me that his symptoms are gone so there's no need to do anything. I was happy to see that he was feeling better, but I just don't want this to be something that will make me toss him around to different specialists only to give him more pain. Should I go to my vet and proceed with an ultrasound or is there anything else I can do? I am really concerned.

I’m a 22 male 6’4 81kg. I try to go to the gym 5-6 times a week push pull legs. I am completely stuck on gaining any muscle/weight that I am aware of. No matter how much I eat, I am unable to gain weight and even am starting to lose some. I consume 3000-6000 cals a day and try to eat 150-200g of protein as well, but continue to lose/stay the same weight with no improvements. I am fairly active during the day but does anyone have any advice on how to start gaining more muscle and weight? It seems to be impossible for me no matter how much I eat.
A typical day of eating for me is I wake up, eat about 2 hours later as my first meal, usually 1000-1500 cals 50g protein
Second meal about 2-3 hours later. About the same as the first.
Third meal the same as the last two
In between meals I drink 2-3L of chocolate milk while at work
Before bed I typically snack and eat like crazy, some bad stuff like chips but also good stuff like charcuterie meats and cheeses
So if my math is correct, I usually consume 4000-8000 cals in a day, 150-200+gs of protein, and yet I will weigh less the next day and lose muscle.
Any tips on how to start gaining weight is very appreciated P.s, I take 20,000-35,000 steps a day but skip cardio at the gym due to the weight loss. As well, I am not sick.

- My understanding is that learning a wall-mounted button (and the RATGDO) is different than learning a remote. The Learn button is for the remotes only and is not needed by the RATGDO. Am I correct?
- Should I ever use the Sync button found on the RATGDO webpage? When am I supposed to activate it? At the onset or whenever I lose a prior synchronization? The [web UI documentation ](https://ratgdo.github.io/esphome-ratgdo/webui\_documentation.html)states: "Manually sync the ratgdo client with the GDO. If the GDO isn't responding to commands from ratgdo, a sync should force them to be on the same rolling code counter."

Just for context, I'm on Gathering Storm with no further expansion packs, so no Preserve, Ethiopia and so on. 500 turns, 8 players. Access to the ocean is available a short distance to the south. I also meet my neighbours. To the northeast are China and Egypt, while across the inland sea lie the Netherlands to the north and Norway to the west. I found new cities on the coast to the south and make some allies among the City States. Then, I start weighing my options. I'm decently stocked with all manner of resources, but the Deity AIs are pulling well ahead, as expected. Expansion into China and Egypt is a dubious prospect; both are fielding large armies and the mountains form a bottleneck into those lands. My science output is finally world-leading and my spies allow me to make up for lost time, netting me plenty of tech boosts and stealing Great Works. My old friend China becomes my greatest concern in the endgame, boasting well over a dozen GDRs as they suddenly cancel our alliance. Fearing the worst, I build as many nukes as possible while speeding through the Space Race as fast as I can. China is hot on our heels we seal the Science Victory on turn 360. Over the last two years, I've been on a mission to get to the bottom of what's wrong with me. I feel like my doctors are either dismissive right away, or excited to try to figure it out, but quickly give up when no one test isn't off the charts bad. I'm seeing a neurologist in July. Wondering what other specialists I should ask for. I've already been to an allergist, a pulmonologist, a cardiologist who specs in electrophysiology and has referred me for a tilt table test, an orthopedist as a teen, and a gastroenterologist.
About Me:
Almost 30 years old, female. Married, no children, full time self employed business ownehairstylist. Of English and Mediterranean descent. No significant history of alcohol use. Have not drank since 2020. I don't use Marijuana or other drugs. No significant nicotene use, but smoked 1 to 3 cigarettes per day until 2021, switched to vaping the lowest concentration, quit nicotene in 2023. Generally healthy and balanced diet. 5'5", currently about 145lbs. 105/65 is normal resting BP, heart is high 50s to low 60s. No significant personal medical history aside from benign ovarian tumor resulting in emergency surgery due to torsion in 2017. Have had pelvic ultrasound within last 6 months, no findings. Normal abdominal CT. Have had two colonoscopies and an endoscopy due to GI issues, detailed below. PFT suggested mild asthma. GI Scopes found mild cell changes in lower esophagus, rectum, and chronic gastritis in stomach. Had MRI of brain which showed two small white matter hyperintensities. Normal echocardiogram, cardiac stress test showed elevated ejection fraction which may have been due to dehydration. Normal cardiac event monitor. I have some degenerative disc disease in my cervical and thoracic spine.
Blood panels usually show: - low- to low end of normal hemoglobin, potassium, sodium. - high end of normal levels of CO2 -high but not alarmingly high wbc (very high neutrophils but low lymphocytes) -thyroid (free t3 and t4) levels tend to swing from the 1.0's to almost 3.0 -estradiol low end of normal Have a normal ESR blood test, have not been given an ANA.
Symptoms include:

***Also worth noting: Throughout 2018 and 2019, I'd have random days here and there where I would spike a fever and be in bed all day with flu like symptoms, if I went to the doctor my WBC count would be quite high, but either the next day or by the end of the day I'd be fine. This went on for about a year and a half. Then in late 2020, I got COVID and everything started or severely intensified about 6 months later. Continued to worsen until early 2022, then again in early 2023 after a series of very stressful events, and has stayed the same since. About Me:
Almost 30 years old, female. Married, no children, full time self employed business ownehairstylist. Of English and Mediterranean descent. No significant history of alcohol use. Have not drank since 2020. I don't use Marijuana or other drugs. No significant nicotene use, but smoked 1 to 3 cigarettes per day until 2021, switched to vaping the lowest concentration, quit nicotene in 2023. Generally healthy and balanced diet. 5'5", currently about 145lbs. 105/65 is normal resting BP, heart is high 50s to low 60s. No significant personal medical history aside from benign ovarian tumor resulting in emergency surgery due to torsion in 2017. Have had pelvic ultrasound within last 6 months, no findings. Normal abdominal CT. Have had two colonoscopies and an endoscopy due to GI issues, detailed below. PFT suggested mild asthma. GI Scopes found mild cell changes in lower esophagus, rectum, and chronic gastritis in stomach. Had MRI of brain which showed two small white matter hyperintensities. Normal echocardiogram, cardiac stress test showed elevated ejection fraction which may have been due to dehydration. Normal cardiac event monitor. I have some degenerative disc disease in my cervical and thoracic spine.
Blood panels usually show: - low- to low end of normal hemoglobin, potassium, sodium. - high end of normal levels of CO2 -high but not alarmingly high wbc (very high neutrophils but low lymphocytes) -thyroid (free t3 and t4) levels tend to swing from the 1.0's to almost 3.0 -estradiol low end of normal Have a normal ESR blood test, have not been given an ANA.
Symptoms include:

Half are cherry tomatoes and the other are big ones (can’t remember the exact type). They came up pretty quickly and when they were a few cm tall I wanted to transfer some into a bigger pot. What's the opinions on reptile carpets, where I got my Leo from is a specialised reptile rescue and rehabilitation centre and they had requirements for having her, one of these were reptile carpet with sand underneath. that's what I've had my Leo on for the past 3-4 years and she's been doing good until recently, she's not been eating, but other than weight loss she's looking healthy shes a bit slower than usual that's about it, so my point is should I have her on anything different I've tried everything else ppl recommed for fixing a loss in appite eg: deep clean, try a bunch of different foods, nothing. I am under age and my parents wont take her to vet unless ive tryed EVERY option. so I gotta try everything and anything I can do differently to help,

2024.05.21 23:18 sayleanenlarge I've been in remission for a good 4 or 5 years now. I just wanted to say that when my pressure went down, my symptoms stayed for a long time after and slowly disappeared over time.
So if you go into remission, but don't feel any different, it could very easily be just that it takes your brain a while to recover afterwards. I used to have horrible sensory overload, brain fog, awful memory and anxiety, but they've gone now. Mine went into remission with weight loss and quitting nicotine.
I remember googling the crap out of symptoms and getting really hopeless from the lack of recovery stories. I promised I'd tell people if I ever recovered, but I haven't done that as much as I could have. So this is just a bit of hope for people who are only coming across negative stuff online. I honestly thought I'd never get better, but it's been a good 5 years now.
When I had IIh, all I could think was "I don't feel very well" "something's wrong" - and just constant thoughts about feeling unwell and as if something was irreparably bad and the doctors weren't acknowledging it (and a lot of them don't appreciate the subjective experience of it). I never get those thoughts anymore. I honestly thought it was a permanent state back then, but it wasn't.
Good luck with it all, and I hope you all recover from it. It's such a difficult experience to go through, and one that's really isolating because others don't understand, but it 100% can get better, and if you're in remission and nothing's changed yet, that doesn't mean it won't go away.

Hello, sorry to be another post about this subject! Our girl cat was taken to the vet this morning at around 9am to get her teeth cleaned and some extracted, and we picked her up around 3pm and got home at around 3:30. Our boy cat, who is normally just a big oaf, started hissing at her when we laid her on the towel in the living room as she was still coming out of anesthesia. He hasn't really hissed at hein general since we adopted her 4 years ago and we did the slow introduction method. Immediately after he hissed, I'm a little stressed. I start googling while my partner lays on the floor with girl cat and creates a boundary with his body around her a little bit. He's not really hissing now, just acting a little off. Girl cat is zonked and giving no reaction.
I found out about feline non recognition aggression pretty quickly, I had no idea! The last time they went for vet visits was at a pop up clinic 5 min away from us to get their boosters. We took boy cat first (30 min ordeal) and then dropped him off and picked up girl cat (another 30 min.) There were no issues when we did this and things went right back to normal, but after reading online I'm guessing it's because they were both exposed to those same smells/experience so there wasn't really a staying cat/going cat dynamic. They have been good friends since the introduction 4 years ago, playing often and able to live in peace up to a up to a week while we take trips and have a neighbor check in on them daily in the afternoons for food/wateaffection.
Flash forward to now, as I'm writing this, its been around two hours since we got home. We've placed girl cat on our couch on top of a few layers of towels. After reading more posts on here, I've put a couple dirty socks and a towel I used this morning around her bc boy cat is a little weirdo and loves our used socks/underweatowels (he's an orange.). It's been a few hours, there hasn't been a ton of hissing or trying to initiate fighting on his behalf but the energy is definitely off. He was laying next to me on our other couch (they're still in the same room since she's come home and we haven't separated them) and he gets his claw stuck in the fabric and gets over stressed for a second and mini-hisses at me as I go to help him as I always do. Now, he's gone upstairs to nap on our bed while girl cat is still zonked on the couch. He's basically separated himself from the situation to take a sleep.
The point of this word vomit is essentially to ask you all if you feel this is okay or if I should be doing more. A lot of posts on here on this same subject included comments telling OP to separate them and do a slow scent introduction as if they are meeting for the first time again. I'm anxious because partner and I both work 8-6:30 and aren't able to leave our workplaces long for lunches, and we both work tomorrow. Any advice? Anyone whose cats had some aggression but it ended up not needing to be a full blown intervention? I'm just looking for some confirmation that these situations aren't always horror stories that take weeks to resolve and sometimes it's just weird vibes for a little bit. Zuzeshi fulfills prompts 2 + 3 for May.
Contrasting Parts: Zuzeshi's goal is to be an assassin, as he strikes from stealth and takes control of a single target through the Serpent's Embrace, eating them slowly and rendering them useless to their team. He is a highly effective way to take out a single, high-priority target.
Zuzeshi is also a tank, eating everything he can find in the jungle, and using his ultimate to eat enemy Champions to increase his own maximum health and mana. He cannot gain health through levels, so he must farm extensively. With extensive crowd-control and a massive health pool, Zuzeshi can quickly disrupt team fights with high durability and reliable knockbacks and fears, and can even puppeteer targets with less health than himself to force them to attack their own allies and disrupt their own team.
Written By a Different Style: Zuzeshi's ultimate is different from most ultimates - he has a shape-shift ultimate... of sorts. When Zuzeshi ults, he flings himself at a specific target and becomes untargetable for up to 4 seconds, attaching himself to the enemy target. He then gains access to an entirely new kit that allows him to use the enemy he attached to in order to become a source of heavy disruption and mild DPS in the middle of their own team. As he can only puppeteer targets with less maximum health than himself, it plays to his strengths to grab a squishy carry and remove them from the fight.
And while he attaches to them, they are unable to use their own ult, replacing it with Constricted, an inactive passive that does nothing.
Zuzeshi is a jungler, and his ability to gain health and mana would suffer greatly if he spent his time attacking and eating lane minions. Large monsters give Zuzeshi a significant portion of his health gain.

And as the fighting started, Zuzeshi could not do it. He felt truly terrified for his life for the first time in his life as he fought men much younger than himself, and he couldn't fight them with brute strength alone.
And he ran. He looked at the hills, and he ran and he ran, and only one person saw him leave - Kichawi, his leader, the one woman who could tell him what to do.
And she cursed his name as she watched him run, as she stood in front of the tribe's children and struck down soldier after soldier with her magic of ice cold. She sung out a curse as old as her magic, turning Zuzeshi's blood cold and his body colder, terrifying him even further.
Zuzeshi lived out the rest of his days alone, longing for the respect and renown he had known in his youth. He died in a cave, alone, having not spoken a word to another human in decades.
But he did not leave for the spirit world. Instead, the once-great warrior awoke once more in the body of a serpent, forever cursed to feel that cold dread in his blood that he once felt when he ran as a coward.
