Maes...yo lo siento pero me tengo que quejar de esto. Dejémonos de varas y seamos honestos: Todos conocemos al hijo/hija de 3-8 años de ese tío/tía, hermano/hermana, sobrino/sobrina, entre otros, que cae mal o peor. Ese carajillo que simplemente a uno no le baja, pero ni con una patada en el pecho, y que lastimosamente toca aguantárselo.
Bueno, en mi caso es un primo, el menor de todos, tendrá unos 4 o 5 años a lo mucho... Yo entiendo que a un güila así de pequeñito no tenga idea de lo que dice o hace, todo bien con eso, pero lo que por lo menos YO, y recalco, YO, no tolero es a los chamacos que son insolentes, alzados y ya desde chiquitillos son soberbios y que van jugando de ser la mera picha, estando encaminados a ser "Hijo/Hija de Papi/Mami". Lamentablemente, este chamaco es ese tipo de güila.
No se le puede decir nada ni se puede reír de él porque "El chiquito se enoja". Pero para felicitarlo por no cagarse durante todo el día, ahí sí, ¡que le lluevan los alagos! Yo por lo general me callo las cosas para no tener conflictos con nadie, pero esto lo tengo que sacar. Hace como un mes me cuenta mi mamá que fue a la casa de mi tío a pasar un rato con él, la novia de mi tío, mis abuelos y otra tía, llamémosla Victoria.
Sucede y acontece que mi tío se va a recoger a la novia, entiéndase cómo Rebeca, y al hijo, llámese "Gustavito" (no por una razón en particular, se me vino a la cabeza el nombre y ya). Mientras esperan, mis abuelos, mi mamá y mi tía se sientan a hablar en la mesa de la sala mientras llegan los otros tres. Llegan como a los 5 minutos, el güila sale corriendo, entra en la choza, pasa por la sala y la conversación, palabras más palabras menos, fue así:

Mi abuela: Gustavito vení papi ¿cómo has estado?
Gustavito se acerca de mala gana para que le den un beso en la mejilla.
Mi abuelo: ¿Diay campeón? ¿Todo bien? - Le extiende el puño para saludarlo.
Gustavito ni bola le da, se da vuelta para irse a montar con un carrillo de pila que tiene.
Mi mama: ¿Y a mí no me vas a saludar ni a Victoria?
Gustavito: No
Mi mama: ¿Por qué?
Gustavito: Porque yo no los quiero. - Se da la vuelta
Mi abuela: ¿Cómo que no nos querés?
Gustavito: Yo no quiero ni a tía (mi mamá), ni a Victoria, ni a tito ni tita, yo solo quiero a mi mamá y ami papá - señala afuera de la casa.
Mi mamá y mi tía se quedan calladas y a mi abuelo, según lo que me dijeron, le dolió mucho el comentario.
Mi abuela: ¡Ah bueno! Entonces, la próxima vez, en tu cumpleaños no te traemos regalos si no nos quieres...
Gustavito: No me importa, porque yo recibo muchos regalos.
Entran mi tío y Rebeca y evidentemente los que están sentados en la mesa les cuentan la conversación que acaban de tener a los tatas
Rebeca: ¡Ay! papi no diga eso - se va como si nada
El tata del chamaco este no le dijo nada, no se disculpó (nunca lo hace). NADA.

Mae, repito, yo entiendo que un chamaco no entienda lo que hace o dice, está bien, pero lo que yo no tolero en un güila es la falta de disciplina y de los tatas la falta de corrección, Evidentemente, no le vas a pegar en medio de Paseo Metrópoli o no le vas a levantar la voz en media avenida central. Pero puta... corregilo en la casa y dígale las varas buenas y malas. Está bien no querer a gente de la familia (a mí personalmente no me agradan muchos tíos, tías, primos y primas que tengo), pero ESTO a mí me parece demasiado, mis abuelos adoran a todos sus nietos y los tratan como reyes y reinas y ese comentario lo único que hizo fue reafirmar dos cosas.

Nadie de la familia de mi mama se baja a Rebeca (en palabras textuales de mi mamá: es una sapa) ni a Gustavito, pero ni regalándoles 50 rojos al día. Confirmado por mis dos abuelos, que repito, adoran a todos, o ahora a la mayoría, de sus nietos y nietas.
La forma de antes de enseñar disciplina hace falta juntarla con la de ahora.

Yo evito a ese güila como el aceite al agua, si me toca compartir habitación no le hablo a menos que sea estrictamente necesario, lo trato con formalidad, evidentemente no con desdén porque ahí sí me meto en un problema, ¡pero qué va! Ni a mí ni a nadie de esa familia le agrada Gustavito. Lamentablemente, si este chamaco sigue creciendo así y es el típico mae que va jugando de rico, se lo bajan de un pichazo en la escuela o en el cole... En fin. Crien bien a sus hijos maes... paz ✌.

Since after World War II, linguists, due to lack of interest in Kurdish studies, have often neglected the pre-Iranic substratum in Kurdish and focused merely on the Irano-Kurdish layer. Of the Urartian language is not much known either (about 300 words), however, a strong majority of its known words have a identical or at least close equivalent in Kurdish. Urartian though closely related to Hurrian, sound more similar to Kurdish than does Hurrian; this may depend on the fact that Hurrian was spoken at an earlier time period. Mannaean was another Hurro-Urartian-related dialect spoken south of lake Urmia.
It is also worth noting that Armenian scholars have found a few Urartian words in Armenian, which appear to be borrowings via Kurdish.

Severa chomps the air, dropping to the floor in a split as Chronologica gasps.
Lupe yawns at the back of the stage, before covering her mouth awkwardly.

Magenta spins around, going for a wild, frantic take on the song as she struts around and shakes her hair with a smirk.

Jupiter drops to his knees in a squat, giving bro attitude- the perfect take on the douchey song. At the right beat, he drops onto the floor in a split.
Jupiter Sterling: “I can perform. I just don’t roll the splits out every single lip sync.” Jupiter looks at the camera with a wink.
I was hanging in the corner
Severa flicks back her hair, leaning against a column before dropping forward in another split, as Floss raises an eyebrow.

Jupiter ends with a pose, his arms crossed and a big, proud smirk on his face as the judges clap.

“Clearly, Miss Severa was in a… rough space.” Lupe sighs.
Lupe LaBelleza: “Miss Severa is an icon. But, she got into a space that wasn’t healthy. And eventually, all the lip sync skills in the world aren't going to save you.”
Everyone sits down.
“...That was a rough untucked. I must say that.” Jupiter looks around. “How are we all feeling?”

“You can’t blame yourself for that. People need to be responsible for themselves, and own up to their truths. She failed to do that, like many people do.” Nymphe says.

“Well…I do agree with that.” Jupiter says.

“I just wonder now.” Jupiter looks around. “Chronologica said that last week was the second last before the finale. So, we’ve still got a semi final.”

Lupe LaBelleza: “Mamis, I’m excited. A Performance challenge. Ay bendito! Let’s do it!”

Later, the contestants prepare for the challenge. Jupiter, Lupe, and Apocalyptica are all hard at work writing lyrics at the same table, while Nymphe sits at her makeup mirror on her own, writing in her notepad.
Lupe drinks from an enormous water bottle.
“Are you planning to drown us, Lupe?” Jupiter jokes.
“Papi, I want to be well hydrated by singing these lyrics!” Lupe smiles. “Trying to keep my vocal cords fresh!”
Lupe LaBelleza: “Did we forget? Darlings, first and foremost… I am a SINGER!” Lupe smiles. “I know how to look after my throat.” Lupe smiles.
…
Lupe LeBelleza: “Not like that!”
“So, what are you both writing about?” Apocalyptica enquires with a smile..
“Here’s what I’ve got so far.” Jupiter raps: “I’m your favorite papi when the waves are getting choppy, I’m your favorite man when you don’t gotta plan! I’m Mr Sterling, monkey paw curling, bringing bad luck to anyone who’s not a fan…”
“Whoa!” Lupe laughs. “That’s a lot of words really fast. Can you enunciate all of those?”
Jupiter purses his lips. “Um, maybe…let’s talk about someone else’s.” Jupiter says, looking down at his written words.
“I’m feeling really good about my verse, so far, pointedly not looking at Nymphe.” Apocalyptica shows Jupiter and Lupe her notes.
“I see the vision,” Jupiter says, nodding. “These look epic.”
“I have some movements planned…I think if I start on the right side of the stage, uh…I can do some sort of tumbling trick, here…and like, I want to replicate that really great moment that Severa had a couple weeks ago at the back of the stage…” Apocalyptica seems to lose confidence in what they’re saying as they explain their idea.
“Stealing Severa’s choreo, okay. Are you going to write your own lyrics?” Nymphe asks from across the room, no hint of sarcasm in her voice.
Jupiter’s eyes bulge. Lupe coughs on her water.
Apocalyptica looks at Nymphe for a long second. “Alright. You want me to say it, I’ll say it.”
“Is that a yes or a no?” Nymphe asks. “I’m trying to understand your approach to the challenge- genuinely.”
“Why are you like this?” Apocalyptica asks. “You insist on being as rude to me as humanly possible…”
“You think I’m rude?” Nymphe questions. “Sometimes people get that impression. I can be blunt.”
“Nymphe, I think you’re a bully.” Apocalyptica says, shaking her head. “You’ve been coming for me for weeks, with no prompting, as if I did something awful and offensive to you. I don’t think I mistreated you in any way. I don’t think my behavior has warranted yours. I think you’ve been trying to make me doubt myself, and feel bad about myself, because you’re scared of me, because I am talented.”
“No.” Nymphe doesn’t look at Apocalyptica, carefully brushing her wig into place.
“No?” Apocalyptica looks pissed. “That’s what you have to say?”
“Well….” Nymphe counts off her responses with one hand, still not looking at Apocalyptica. “I’m not a bully. You didn’t do something horrible to me. I’m not trying to make you doubt yourself or feel bad about yourself and it’s not my fault if you do. I’m not scared of you. And I don’t need anyone else to take out my hurt on. Because I manage my own.” Nymphe clips a bow into place in her hair. “So no. None of that was right.”
“Oh, fuck off.” Apocalyptica snaps.
Lupe and Jupiter look at each other.
“If you stopped to listen to the feedback I’ve been giving you, I think you’d see that it’s in your best interest to take it. I’m not particularly polite, sure. I’m autistic. I don’t communicate all of my feelings the same way you do. You’re very sweet and very feelings and all that. That’s great for you. At the same time I don’t enjoy the way you’ve presented yourself in the competition.” Nymphe affixes one faerie wing to her dress, then the other.
Apocalyptica looks speechless.
“You are irrevocably inauthentic in your runways and your challenge presentations. You change who you are and what you believe at the whims of the judges and your peers, and you pilfer ideas without hesitation.” Nymphe ties the long white laces of her boots. “I find those behaviors unattractive in a competitor, and really disappointing in someone I initially hoped I could be friends with.”
Apocalyptica stands still, shell-shocked and infuriated.
Nymphe d’Azote: “...Flabbergasted. Is how I would describe her expression. Which is suitable.”
Nymphe dabs the tiniest bit of blush on her face. “Before, I asked you an earnest question with no malice intended. Are you going to write your own lyrics?”
Apocalyptica sputters. “Ob-...Obviously.”
Nymphe nods. “That’s great. I look forward to hearing them.”
Nymphe puts her oversized headphones on, ending the conversation.
Lupe, Jupiter, and Apocalyptica all look stunned.
Jupiter Sterling: “That girl is something else. Honestly? What a legend. I do kind of… agree.”
A whistle sounds, and Zazu Nova and Rachelle Mirage strut into the werkroom.
“Five minutes until rehearsal, y’all, get ready!” Rachelle calls out.
Lupe looks shocked. “Espera, Rachelle?!? Where has she been?”
Lupe LaBelleza: “Hasn’t Rachelle been gone almost all season? Pensaba que they fired her…”
Rachelle winks at Lupe.

“Hi racers!” Zazu Nova smile, looking more more confident than she ever did on her season, holding a clipboard with the ferocity of someone granted the smallest sliver of power and determined to make the most of it. “I want each of you to take a turn and give me your scene. Scene?” Zazu laughs. “Words confuse me! Jupiter first!”
Jupiter quick-steps, spins, and dips into some hip-forward floor-work, flexing his muscles as he rapidly whips through his planned choreography.
“Great! No notes,” Zazu says. “But why aren’t you singing your verse?”
Jupiter laughs nervously. “Oh! Hah. I’m not much of a singer.”
“Yeah, but you have to practice it with–”
“I’m just gonna practice the choreo!” Jupiter smiles, running through his floorwork again.
“If you say so.” Zazu shrugs.
Jupiter Sterling: “I’m going to do this- but in a planned fashion. Singing is my weakest trait, so I am going to FOCUS on that… solo moment.” Jupiter winks. “Planner.”
“Miss Apocalipstick…Apocalupe…Apocky…” Zazu struggles.
“Don’t worry about it,” Apocalyptica says, a bit quiet.
“Let’s give it a whirl, then!” Zazu whoops excitedly.
Apocalyptica trips over her dress. “Oh…”
“Oh…” Zazu repeats, looking awkward. “Let’s do it again.”
Apocalyptica: “Am I nervous? Yes. But I can do this.” Apocalyptica closes her eyes. “I can…”
…
“Can you sing, Lupe?” Zazu asks.
“Por supuesto! For the first time this season, something I’m actually known for.” Lupe looks relieved, grinning wildly.
“And can you dance, mami?” Zazu asks.
Lupe drops into a split.
“I want to learn that TRICK!” Zazu gasps. “Oh wait, I do know it.”
…
“Faerie Princess Nymphe. I’ve been told you’re something of a dancer!” Zazu looks excited.
“I am.” Nymphe tosses her hair. She’s put on a wig for rehearsal. “But I don’t really want to dance for you.”
Zazu looks crestfallen. “What? But…”
Nymphe shrugs. “You’re not even the guest judge this episode. And I know I’m good at this. I don’t need to practice it here, with someone with one of the worst track records in the franchise.”
Zazu gags.
“Bye, Zazu. I’m going to go get ready to meet with Chronologica.” Nymphe leaves the rehearsal room, before running back in and laughing. “Okay, I’m kidding. Let’s practice.”
“I got so scared, oh my god!” Zazu says dramatically.

Chronologica sits in a big paisley chair, with a glass bowl full of tiny grandfather clocks on a pedestal beside him, and a tray of lamington. Jupiter sits in the chair opposite him.
Jupiter Sterling. You’ve come a long way from being a first-out in some ugly pants.
Jupiter laughs. “Have I ever! Really, Chronologica, I’m so grateful to have gotten a second chance this season. Win or lose, I am proud of facing my fears, making some friends, and having this journey.”
I’m proud of you too, little man. Have a lamington. It’s an Australian staple.
Jupiter gasps, grabbing a lamington. “Little! Are you calling me short?”
Yes.
Jupiter makes a face and laughs. “The person I was before couldn’t handle taking himself so unseriously, I don’t think. The first time, I spent so much time getting ready, and I totally flopped.”
Because you weren’t ready. What was different this time?
“...Being able to just be me? Do some ridiculous concept like my MUSK perfume? That could only happen because I felt welcome enough to relax.”
That’s one of the times I laughed hardest this season. I feel like I can still smell it on you!
“Oh, that smell never goes away.” Jupiter grins.

My Queen.
Chronologica kisses Nymphe’s hand as she sits for her “tick tock lunch,” looking royal.
“Thank you. You would be a good royal steward,” Nymphe says.
Chronologica laughs.
You know, all season long, we’ve seen you deliver impeccable looks. From your Madonna, to your wool snow queen, to last week’s incredible dark mistress…they’ve all been top-tier.
“I know.” Nymphe notes.
What I didn’t expect was how funny you can be.
“At least I’m not funny-looking.” Nymphe jokes flatly, and Choronologica laughs.
Have a lamington. It’s an Australian staple.
“It’s not.” Nymphe looks at Chronologica. “Autism is funny. People think that it’s impolite to laugh, when someone who’s different does something that’s different. But it’s obvious to me that the standards of the world are impossibly stupid and no one wants to conform to all of the bullshit requirements of social behavior. I did so much hurting myself, when I was younger, to try and get over my failure to follow those rules…and it never worked. So now I try to give people permission to break some rules.”
I think you’re right. You’ve been refreshing to have on the season. A change of pace, a change of perspective, and you’ve brought us some ground-changing moments. Can we talk about Fae?
“Tika’s not here to speak for herself, not that she would anyway, so I’d rather respect her privacy. But let me just say…”
Nymphe stops, takes out a small notepad, and scribbles something on the page, then shows it to the camera: “I love you so much Tika. My sister always, my squish forever, please come to the finale and watch me get my crown.”

La Madre Bellissima, Guadalupe Hidalgo LaBelleza.
“Bless you.” Lupe chuckles. “Miss C, me siento muy afortunada de estar sentada aquí contigo hoy, y quiero decirte lo importante que es para mí que hayas acogido mi español, mi habla y mi alma así.”
Ha sido un honor, mami.
“And mami is right, you know?” Lupe smiles. “That’s who I’ve been this season, for all these putas y perras.”
Watching your relationships, with Severa, with Magenta, with Princesita, and Apocalyptica, has been really special, but sometimes also really hard. Have a lamington, by the way, it’s an Australian staple.
Lupe nods, grabbing a lamington. “Eso es. That’s just how it is with family, right? I just hope podemos hanguiar after all this is over, no matter what happens.”
You’re the only queen here in the Top 4 without a win. Has that been hard for you?
Lupe looks thoughtful. “Honestamente, no. Of course I want to win challenges. Pero I feel so so proud of what I’ve done here, both in the challenges and here, in the werkroom. I’m not good at everything, but I’m good at a lot! And I have one more chance this week, papi! Esta boricua is fighting for it!”
Excited to see it, Lupe. You’re always a joy to watch.
“La alegria es toda mia.” Lupe says with a smile.

Apocalyptica has painted her face in stark black and white, and as she takes a seat for the “tick tock lunch”, Chronologica smirks.
In a season full of ooky spooky freaky deaky weirdos, you take the cake.
“And eat it too, I hope.” Apocalyptica jokes, grabbing a lamington. “Thank you, though. There were some real artists here this year and I feel honored I got to compete against them.” Apocalyptica smiles. “Love Lamingtons. Australia staple!”
I have to ask you about one of those artists, Apocalyptica.
Apocalyptica looks troubled.
At the start of this season, a lot of us saw some sparks between you and a certain Bates Baghdashi. Was there anything to that? And how are you feeling about it now?
“Honestly, what happened…really threw me. It reminded me of some really dark times in my life where the people I thought were going to be there for me…weren’t.”
What do you mean?
“As you know, I was diagnosed with leukemia at age 7. At the time, my parents and my grandparents lived in the same town, and I had a best friend I had had for as long as I could remember. And the first time, when I did my initial rounds of chemo, everyone was really supportive. I got Make-a-Wish, all my classmates and everyone we knew were sending cards and presents when I was in the hospital, and my best friend visited every afternoon…it was great. Then I went into remission…and then when I was 12, the cancer came back.”
Apocalyptica pauses for a second, tearing up.
“And this time, everyone had heard it before. The resources dried up, the support dried up, and that best friend stopped visiting me. My grandparents actually passed at that time, too, and so…” Apocalyptica cries softly. “I was really alone, then. I really had to learn to take a lot on, when I was way too young to be doing that.”
Chronologica nods softly.
It’s an impossible position to be in when you’re so small.
“Yeah.” Apocalyptica gulps. “I’m really lucky that my cancer is back in remission, and it’s been that way for a long time now, but…I did think, when I got here, that I had found someone who could be like that friend again. Someone I could get really close to. So to find out what we found…well, it was really hard.”
You rebounded impressively. You showed that resilience you’re talking about for this whole season.
Apocalyptica nods. “No matter what anyone says about my drag, or who I am, or what they think I’m about…I know what I came here to do, and I’m proud of how I’ve showcased alternative, Denver drag, how I’ve showcased my art and my story, and how I’ve soldiered on. In a different way from Starzanne, of course.”
Of course. And Miss Popsicle…if you make it there, I know you’ll have at least one “friend” cheering for you at the finale.
“What do you mean?” Apocalyptica asks. “Who?”
Chronologica smiles mysteriously.

The racers prepare for the main stage.
“So…” Apocalyptica tears up. “This is it.”
“How do we feel?” Lupe smiles. “I cannot believe this is it. The final moment we are together.”
“Well besides the finale.” Jupiter grins. “We don’t know what’s ahead.”
“I think that’s the exciting part.” Nymphe says. “I feel as if we have so much possibility here. I am prepared for all eventualities. If I lip sync, power to me. If I win, same. I am someone who is going to make it to the end.”
“I really do appreciate that attitude, Nymphe. The confidence is refreshing. And you know, I feel the same.” Jupiter smiles. “I’m fighting for this title.”
“As am I.” Lupe grins. “You’ve all had your moments, but this week’s mine.”
“I mean, I could win.” Apocalyptica smiles, before giggling.
“...There’s been so many lovely moments this season.” Lupe looks around. “What has everyone’s favorites been?”
“I think, coming in and winning that first challenge was the validation I was HERE.” Jupiter smiles softly. “And Lupe, what a lip sync battle that was!”
“Papi, I wanted that win, but I can’t be mad at you here. You did an amazing job. You fought for that win, and you know what, you deserved it.” Lupe grins.
“It was the moment I knew that this season would be different.” Jupiter nods. “And the journey has been hard, but I am so happy that… I’ve made it here.”
“I think my favorite movie was the Improv challenge win.” Apocalyptica smiles. “I expected to come in and win those design challenges…”
Nymphe smiles as she looks over at her winning design and makeover looks.
“But that improv challenge- I gave it my all, I performed, and I got that win. It felt lovely- and I feel like I’ve been on an upward trajectory since. I haven’t been in the bottom- at all. But that felt like the start of the top.” Apocalyptica beams.
“Good for you.” Nymphe looks at Apocalyptica.
Apocalyptica purses her lips.
“I loved those design challenge wins.” Nymphe smiles. “And for me, I feel like the best is yet to come.”
“I feel the same.” Lupe adds. “Para Mi, this journey is about pushing yourself, doing your best and I am really, really excited for this challenge.”
“It’s been really nice to do drag with you guys.” Jupiter smiles.
“...Can we do a group hug?” Apocalytpica looks at the others.
“...I’ll pat you all on the back.” Nymphe responds.
Apocalyptica, Lupe and Jupiter all hug, as Nymphe taps the three on the back, one at a time.
