Timberbuilt swing set reveiws

I am looking for an old horror game mark played years ago I dont remember much but I do remember it was kinda pixelated and he comes across a park with a swing set there was also a grave I believe and there was some entity or something that didnt wanna be alone?

I’ve been looking all over for some tier lists, but to no avail. Would love to hear some community input since there’s so many new weapons. So far I have crafted Bleeding Berzerker axes, Nidhogg the primal, and Scourging Slayer.
I usually run the bleeding axes with full askvin set and 2 health food. Damage done when I drop to half health or lower seems noticeable, but I can’t help but think this benefit is not enough to take it over the other two effects. Especially with how quickly you can rattle off multiple swings.
Nidhogg the primal. Absolutely elite against morgen. Not so much against other enemy types. The effect seems to trigger most often when the charred are almost dead.
Scourging Slayer. Lightnings awesome when the effect triggers. But with a slower swing rate, I’m not sure if it’s ideal. I’m really curious if anyone has tried the bleeding variant.

Excuse me, but why are there so few fanfics where Izuku has a mutant type quirk ? I mean most fanfics I've seen where he has a quirk just give him an emitter quirk or sometimes a transformation quirk that is related to a crossover. Not to mentiom they try to get so complicated and make the power so flexible for no reason.
So here's my totally genius idea : Big Chimp Midoriya Izuku.
That's right, he inherits Hisashi's chimpanzee mutant type quirk and goes apeshit (pun intended but not really at first but then I realized it's a pun so yeah.) Now this could be executed in different ways, it could be him being born with the mutation and growing up violent enough to put Katsuki to shame, or he could be quirkless until a certain point in the story where he then goes through an extremely painful and graphic transformation.
I'm talking teeth falling out forcefully and being replaced by a new set, full on panic attack, gums deforming to push forward, excess bodily hair, hormones going wild, instincts changing his mindset and things of that nature.
Mood swings, acting out of character, arguments breaking out between him and his mom because she's scared of the change that she can only watch, while he's just happy to finally have a quirk, even if in the end it'll make him more hated and discriminated against than if he just remained quirkless his entire life.
I don't hate Midoriya Izuku, I just have too many fanfictions I've written in docs about him having actually interesting quirks that aren't that flashy which instead leaves more place to focus on him as a human rather than him as a hero student or a fighter.
Tw: mention and description of gore
(Now obviously there's some mild gore but to not make this feel like a crack fic I feel like it should be to an extent. Like, rip someone's jaw off, gouge out eyes, mauling, wailing on somebody, grappling, ripping genitals, cannibalism? Yeah sure ! Somehow turning people into clouds of red mist, ripping people apart out of nowhere ?(valid if it's actually important to the story but otherwise nah), ehhhh.)
Tw: possible mention of sexual violence, sexual assault, sexual harassment and rape. (Now I'm really torn on the rape part, it's basically going the whole nine yards in an angst fic, which I hate when writers add sexual violence to the story just to make it more edgy when it's just shock value. It has to have a meaning, an actual reason. Also it's a chimp not a dolphin, something tells me dolphins just tend to do that freaky stuff way more.)

Steel shod hooves clacked along the cobblestones, to the cheers of the common folk. The kights were ridding out.
You were with them. Not an actual knight, just a squire in service to them. But still you rode along to help with whatever menial tasks they needed. But you were one of the lucky ones, one that actually had a chance of becoming a knight someday.
"Someday" you think as you switch from cobbles to mud. Following behind the large party of horses, mud flinging up on your armor
The proud lords lead on, banners and ponytails flapping in the wind as you and the other squires follow in their wake. Drapped in their colors and heavy supply packs you all plod along in the muddy tracks from the horses
The lords crest the hill, pausing and many of them motioning for squires to bring binoculars forward. Your knight, the leader of the party and the order, does so as well. You scramble up to his side, he snatches them from your hands.
Sighing and pulling your own gifted spyglass out you look ahead, seeing a part of dark green armor clad figures on the hill in front of you. Banners waving in the wind, one of peace declaring their intentions
The knights turn to each other, debating what to do as the squires also discuss what to do with each other.
"Recon we'll go talk to em?" A green and black clad squire asks
"Nah, bet we'll charge straight into them. Could be some sort of trick" a red and yellow clad says while leaning on his sword
"What do you think? You've got the best training out of all of us" a squire calls to you "being the leaders chosen and all"
Pondering the question and measuring your response "I think we'll hear them out, doesn't seem like a trick so far" the other squires nodding in agreement
"I say we bloody well charge!" Comes from behind you. The red and yellow clad knight waving his Lance around as the rest of the knights squabble
Your knight watches them bicker. It's evident he's thinking hard on his flushed face "bet that's from the party last night" you recall grimly all the cleaning you still have to do after this excursion
Calling the other knights to order her gives his plan "let's go and talk to them, see what there up to". He wheels his horse around as the knights push forward and the squires struggle to keep up
Their delegation moves forwards. Seeing yours advance, making way to meet on top of the small hill between you
As you advance it becomes easier and easier to keep pace and eventually out pace the knights as the full scale of the warriors comes into play, most standing just shy of the knights on horseback and their leader
"God's above" you think seeing the armor clad woman standing taller then anyone in either group, easily a head taller over even your knight's raised saddle
The knights mill about on their horses, none wanting to approach the warriors, recognizing that they might for once not have the best equipment from the old vaults. Suddenly you feel a tapping on your back. You turn seeing your knight pull himself back into the saddle, his kick unbalancing him
"Go forth and talk to them in my stead" he orders, the other knights echoing his orders "sue for peace if they recognize our might, if not then wait for our charge"
Pushed ahead you drop your pack off and take hold of your weapons. A force sword and laser pistol, relics gratuitously given to you, setting forward the other squires follow
"Hail warriors" her voice is softer then you might think, Suddenly you remember your mother's stories of love at first sight "I take it your masters aren't coming" a hint of disappointment in her voice
"They aren't madam" you say with a half bow. "They sent us ahead to negotiate" you don't have to follow her eyes to see the knights nervously milling behind you, disapproval in her eyes
"I see" a measured response. "Then I'll say to you, I am El'Leonore Johnson, primarch of the Dark Angels Space marine legion, of the Imperium of Mankind. We have come to reclaim you into the fold of humanity" the speech comes with practiced ease, her voice delebretly loud enough to carry to the knights behind you.
Angry murmuring coming from the knights behind you. You sweat, seeing the armorments and knowing you stand no chance. And knowing the knights behind you not willing to give up their power. She looks at you, it seems she has some measure of what is going through your head, her voice comes soft enough for you to hear "you can seek safety with us squire" her voice sending shivers down your spine "we will protect you"
Yelling comes before you can deliver your answer. Yelling from the base of the hill you see a war party st the base of the Hill, Yelling their warcries they wait st the bottom of the hill. Turning to the squires you call out your orders "Wait here, I dont like that they revealed themselves st the base of the hill knowing we have horse" Another yell comes from the knights as they ready a charge
"Fools" comes from from woman behind you
You watch the awe inspiring charge of your knights. Trained for this purpose and relishing in the perfect conditions of the charge the thundering hooves and flashing of steel draws closer and closer
Only to go disastrously. Several horses flip, hit by unseen Spears and caltrops hidden in place. Some of the later knights wheel their horses in time to avoide the trap only to get cut down by the counter charge heading up to your position
"Into a square" you call seeing their numbers "form up into defensive we'll wear them out" squires galvanized into action by the shouted commands. Waiting for the charge to hit
Only for it to never land
Green blurs past you as the figures rush into combat, slaughtering the forces with roaring swords and screaming guns. She walks beside you "impressive are they not? My sons" she waves at the slaughter before you "just an honor guard, my legion is scattered among the stars"
As the figures figures come to a stop you see none of the ambushing party survived. Though a familiar figure did
Your knight storms his way up the hill, mud covering the bright colors of his armor and stuck in his long ponytail. He comes up directly to you and slaps you in the face "how dare you don't charge in to help us" spittle flying onto you "you left us alone going into that, how dare you..." his voice cuts off as his arm refuses to fly forward
She's standing behind him. A look of disgust on her face. "He was correct, it was an trap. Why would they give their position away at the bottom of the hill knowing you have the charge advantage?" Her quick tactical assessment seems to slap him across the face "and you seemed eager to send them in against a superior force but lead the charge against a weaker, it is undeserving of a leader"
He turns pulling his arm away from her "I am rightful lord by right" he blusters "and if you dont like it to bad. I will remain untill my death and you will never take us" he finishes dramatically turning away
Only for her sword to swing out and cut through his armor. He falls without a word, only his armor clanking to the ground, as she turns to you
"I trust that you would take over in succession" answered by your wordless nod "good" she takes his sword out of its sheath and offers it to you "then I give you his title and ask you to join us" taking the sword you look up at her sinking to one knee
The words you swore so long ago coming back to you "I do pledge my sword to you my lady, to carry your burden and assist you in your needs. On my honor do I swear this untill you see fit to grant me the honor of stand with you as an equal" the words ring out as you stand and move forward, freezing as muttering comes from the other squires
"Is their a problem?" She asks a confused look on her face. You rub the back of your head nervously. "Tradition states that the squire is to braid the hair of their knight upon swearing in" comes from the crowd. You turn with a blush looking for who called that out
"Ah, I see" she turns and sits on the ground, gesturing for one of her sons to bring something to stand on "I see no reason to disregard tradition then"
You nervously start braiding her hair, feeling the silky soft hair part and braid under your fingers. Dillagently following the steps you learned so long ago you soon have her hair in a long braid curing around her neck and running down her front. Steaping around her you take your new blade and hold the polished surface for her to glance upon. A faint smile touching her lips, seeming to grow as she notices your blush
"Then let us be off lord" she addresses you, rising to head back to the capitol "im certian they have a feast ready for them" she points at the armored lump in the grass

The feasting has long sense started, and will continue on till the morning. The squires finally happy to become knights of their own and the populace rejoicing, knowing your better then your former master.
You see a shuttle come fly down. And she heading towards it. Grabbing your back you rush down, just as the door is closing you call out "wait"
The ramp finishes closing, only to slowly unwind as she steps out expectantly "what seems to be the problem? You are lord of this land and advisors will come down tomorrow to set the world ready for Imperial tithes, yoy can relax and enjoy your position" she says crossing her arms
"I swore the oath of a squire" nerves creping into your voice "I can't lead, not until I can stand equal to my knight" you awkwardly point towards her as she realizes what had happened
She sighs as she pinches her nose. "I trust then you have someone to lead?" A nod confirms "good, then how long for you to pack?" You shrug your bag into view "very well, let us be off then" she turns waving you into the shuttle, showing you how to buckle in
As you take off you look over to your new knight. You notice her hair is still in the same braid you gave her earlier

Since covid my anxiety has only seemed to spike, pre covid i worked fine. It wasnt easy by no means but i was able to make it through fulltime shifts with ease. After covid hit, and waves of set back. (I.e losing my job, my then gf breaking up with me, becoming homless and living in a tent in my best friends backyard.) I feel like it was the start of it, this cycle of finding working then in afew weeks to afew months id just quit. Cause id have panic attacks in the breakrooms. Or convince myself i shouldnt go. Even when i knew i needed to work and needed the money. Its been 3 years and i still cant seem to hold a job and im just not sure what to do.
Recently ive been doing therapy and taking anti depressants, will soon be on anxiety meds too. Therapy is helpful and my depression isnt as bad as it was. I thought maybe focusing on that would help me get back into the swing of things. And when i finally found work recently i was only there for a week before i couldnt stomach it anymore. Im lucky and grateful to have my friend and his family as they have taken me in as their own, but i know how they must think of me. Some freeloader who cant hold a job. I dont want to be like this, but i dont know what else to do. Working on improving my mental health has been my main priority and even that has its challenges. The downside to working now, if i make too much money the state will revoke my benefits. I sit at a crossroad. I could work with a chance of losing my insurance. Or not work and still be where i am now. Its really just madness, im doing the best i can but i still dont feel like its enough. Im just tired. Thanks for listening to my rant. O7

I'm getting better and have mostly eliminated the dreaded skull/thin wedge missiles that stay 30 feet off the ground and fly over the green. But I've now started hitting some that start as a low pull and then slice. It gets higher in the air than a thin shot, but still way lower than a flush contact. It doesn't feel like a thin on contact, and sometimes I even take a divot when it happens. Was especially annoying today when I hit a perfect drive to 100 yards in the middle of the fairway and then lasered one of these side spinners over the green (and I was even setting up/swinging to try to hit a draw). It happens on my long irons sometimes too, but usually doesn't result in a bad position as I'm not expecting those to drop onto the middle of the green anyway, and def happens more frequently with shorter clubs. Does anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong, or what kind of bad habit is getting into my swing? Thanks much for any advice!!

His only purpose now was survival. And survival meant raiding the mountain fortress of his former brethren. Cid crept silently through the underbrush, his senses on high alert. The faint sound of drums echoed through the air, signaling the approach of a patrol. He tensed, ready to strike. As the patrol rounded a bend in the path, they caught sight of Cid and shouted a challenge. The outcast barbarian did not hesitate. With a primal roar, he charged forward, spear thrusting and shield arm blocking as the arrows rained down around him. His superior strength and agility soon became apparent, as he overpowered the surprised guards and continued deeper into the fortress. The sound of battle echoed through the mountains, and soon reinforcements were pouring in from all sides. Archers took to the walls, raining down arrows upon Cid as he fought his way through the main gate. He ducked and weaved, using his shield as a living shield against the deadly volleys. The ground beneath him grew slick with blood, both his own and that of his enemies. Cid's fury knew no bounds as he reached the inner sanctum of the fortress, where he knew the chieftain would be holed up. The air was thick with smoke from burning herbs, and the flickering light cast strange shadows across the walls adorned with the skulls of slain enemies. He held a ceremonial hammer, its edges glowing red-hot, as if forged in the fires of the mountain itself. As Cid closed in, the chieftain turned to face him, a sneer curling his lips. "So, you have come to die at my hands, outcast?" he mocked. "Very well. Then die you shall." With a mighty swing, the chieftain hurled the hammer at Cid's shield. The impact sent a shockwave through the outcast's body, but his grip did not waver. He thrust his spear forward, aiming for the chieftain's exposed throat. The chieftain dodged with surprising agility, and in the same motion, he counterattacked with a swift kick to Cid's shield arm. The outcast stumbled back, grunting in pain. The chieftain circled around him, his movements fluid and deadly. "You are no match for me, outcast," he hissed. "I am the true leader of this tribe, chosen by the gods themselves." Cid growled in response, his anger burning hotter than the lava that had birthed the mountain. He charged again, this time avoiding the chieftain's trap and landing a solid blow with his spear. The chieftain stumbled back, but did not fall. The battle raged on, the sounds of clashing metal and grunting warriors filling the air. Cid could feel the weight of his armor, the strain in his muscles, but he pushed forward. The chieftain was tiring too, however, and his movements were becoming less precise. Seeing an opening, Cid lunged, thrusting his spear at the chieftain's heart. The chieftain parried with his ceremonial hammer, but the force of the blow sent it flying from his grip. As it clattered to the ground, Cid stepped forward and drove his spear deep into the chieftain's chest. With a final gasp, the chieftain crumpled to the ground. The remaining guards, realizing they were defeated, threw down their weapons and surrendered. Cid stood over the body of the fallen chieftain, his chest heaving with exhaustion and victory. The fortress was silent now, save for the occasional groan from a wounded warrior. As he surveyed the carnage, Cid felt a strange mixture of satisfaction and despair. He had saved his people from the chieftain's tyranny, but at what cost? So many lives had been lost, and the wounds inflicted upon the tribe ran deep. He knew that the task of healing and rebuilding would be long and arduous. The surviving warriors looked to Cid, their faces a mix of relief and awe. They knew that he was now their leader, chosen by fate or the gods themselves. But Cid felt no pride in his new title. Basically my mom is still bitter guys… She brings up from time to time, during disagreements over texts, how we set her up for failure by not staying the full yeahelping her stay afloat financially. She has said, “I mean do you really think landlords don’t rely on their tenants?!?”
She thinks it was very lame that we would say we were going to be down there for a whole year, just to find a home of our own by the six month mark. We truly did believe we were going to be there for a year, but we did not promise her we would! EVER. EVER. We said multiple times we hope financially, we will get lucky and be able to look for houses sooner than a year. She has known this fact. I literally had conversations with her telling her how we hope it will happen in a couple months. She never interjected saying anything to argue or freak out about. She was supportive, even!!!
All in all, she is so bent out of shape about the fact that now she is in a pickle. I also gave her a 20 day notice, because she wanted a 30 day notice, but our new landlord couldn’t swing that. Is 20 days mean of me???? I’m so confused.
I’m in my new home and I’m so blessed but my mom hanging this over my head has truly damaged my new home experience.
What did I do wrong????

Posting for my partner.... for context: we are WLW and we straddle the line between swinging and polyamory as we jointly meet others for sex centered relationships but then seperately we date others autonomously. Swinging is how we met and our sexual relationship eventually turned into the love of my life.
With other partners, I've generally been pretty opposite in terms of fem/Dom, masc/fem, and even general appearance which has always led us to naturally being attracted to different types and same for her. But with this partner, we're almost exactly alike in many external and internal ways so we constantly find the same people attractive from personality to looks to lifestyle and vice versa ... we're finding it increasingly difficult to manage autonomous relationships as feelings have naturally developed for both of our metas and this isn't the first time.... We've also both felt connections with people from our swinging circle in the past but always steered away because we never really believed in or understood how to date someone we only have a relationship with as a couple and who seemed to view us a package deal. It just felt like a lot of work to dismantle all of that when we have separate relationships already and have only ever dated separately. Neither of us enjoy or use dating apps and our area doesnt have a huge lesbian poly community in our age group and general lifestyle (nor does any city really) so oftentimes the only way we meet other poly and compatible people is through each other so that doesn't help lol
We don't really have a messy list and if we did I don't think either of us would really want to put metas on there. So it leaves me wondering if this is the direction we are headed in, what thing should we be preemptively addressing?
We've always talked a lot about couples privilege as we are hierarchical and do everything in our power to practice that in an ethical way. We both also did all the standard poly books and podcasts when we first became poly before meeting each other. Are we setting ourselves up for possible triad or quad dynamic by exploring feelings with each others metas or is there a way to remain completely seperate in our relationships? We're willing to do whatever work needs to be done to explore freely but it's hard to know where to start.

I leased a GMC denali canyon three years ago and loved it, the payment was $410/month and it was super comfortable. When the lease was up in January, I called to see what the rates were on the new GMCs and it increased to $780/month which is far out of my price range. I talked to a Toyota dealer who got me into a tacoma SR5 for $470/month and after test driving it, I reluctantly signed the lease- disappointed to make sacrifices in comfort (at still a 15% price increase) on the leather interior, heated/cooled seats, built in nav, better back up cam, etc.
Here I am a few months later and I am enjoying driving the vehicle and coping with losing some amenities but my biggest gripe is that I don't fit into the driver's seat well and it is almost painful getting in and out of the seat. I am 6'3" and have an athletic build. The steering wheel is as high as I can set it and the seat is as low as it will go. Getting into the truck, I have to put my legs jammed up under the dash near the pedals, bend my knees almost backwards hyper-extended, and then swing them under the steering wheel as I get into the seat. I guess I did not notice it the first few times, but recently had to rent other vehicles for work (mid size SUVs) and realized how much easier it is to get in and out and how much more comfortable my seated position is while driving. It has now become glaring that it is a problem and even slightly painful.
I guess my question is has anyone had the same experience? If I bring it to a Toyota shop is there any chance they can increase the steering wheel height furthelower the seat more? Not sure if I just have to deal with it for three years. I am sorry if this is the wrong place for this post as I am sure most people here are fans- just looking for any useful advice or input, thanks!

A few times a week, I swing by some local waters on the way home or during errands for 5 to 10 minutes. I keep a Ozark tail $20 telescopic rod combo in the trunk for this reason. It's been awsome and I've caught plenty of largemouth, smallmouth, perch, and rock bass with it. Nothing too big. I don't target larger fish with this combo - but there's plenty of massive smallmouth, largemouth, pike, and pickerel where I fish. I have no complaints about that rod.
Today, I took my 3 year old daughter fishing for the first time and she caught her first few fish. She was starting to loose interest and started tossing rocks around and picked up a big one and threw it right on top of that telescopic rod as it laid on the ground. It snapped in half. This doesn't make me questions zany the build quality of the rod. Many rods would have broken with that blow, and all telescopic rods would have definitely snapped.
So now I need a new one. I have no issues with running to Walmart to buy another one, but I'm sure there's something better out there and I'd grab that. Amazon is loaded with telescopic rods, most probably junk with good reviews. Anyone have any recommendations? I'd appreciate it.
I understand that 2 piece rods would be better. I have plenty of 2 piece rods that serve a purpose, but for these short trips - telescopic rods are the most space efficient, convenient, and set up quick for the little time I have. The rod doesn't need to be a combo - I have plenty of extra reels so if consider that a free spare. I would likely not use whatever reel the combo comes with.

I’m car buying right now I have my heart set on a CR-V, but I’m stuck between the EX and the Sport hybrid. I’ve been wanting a hybrid for a while, but price-wise there’s a decent difference. I can swing it, but it would be a lot tighter, of course. Anyone have any advice they can give me or have experience with either? Anything would be appreciated!
Some background: I have been planning on getting a hybrid maybe a few years down the line, but I wasn’t planning on it this year. My current car needs a bunch of repairs and I’m not willing to put so much money into it at this point, so my timeline has been pushed up significantly.

TLDR: Baby (13 weeks) won’t nap out of arms. We’ve been practicing for 8 weeks. Practicing is making me miserable. Planning to sleep train in July. Should I cut my losses and just contact nap at this point, or is there something I’m missing?
Baby is almost 13 weeks old. Since the end of March, I’ve been working on the elusive contact-free nap. Based on my Snoo record, I’ve tried in the Snoo least once a day (sometimes twice) 29 times in the last 54 days. We’ve had four successes in total, all under an hour. Twice I put him down awake and he fell asleep on his own, and twice I got him to sleep then set him down and he stayed asleep for another 20-30 minutes or so. A few times I’ve tried putting him asleep on my bed, the baby swing, the doc a tot knock off, or some other more comfortable less safe location … but no bites. We’ve also tried naps in the car and in the stroller (both bassinet and car seat attachments), and he’s only had one nap in one of those arrangements—it was in the bassinet part of the stroller, but I had to keep the stroller rolling.
During the day, he primarily naps in the baby carrier. If you get him in before his internal timer is up, he doesn’t even fight it. (If you get him strapped in a little late in the wake window, he’ll let out his swan song for 15 minutes before passing out.) At night he sleeps great in his Snoo, typically nursing to sleep before bed and during his 1-2 MOTN wakes, but he doesn’t always nurse to sleep! Sometimes I’ll put him down awake and asleep he goes. Even when he nurses to sleep, he’ll sometimes wake up during the transfer. The point of this paragraph is to spell out “sleep crutches” that he does have and the extent to which he depends on them, and to suggest that he doesn’t have reflux since he sleeps flat on his back all night long.
When we try for Snoo naps, he typically cries so intensely that the Snoo almost immediately (3 minutes in) turns off. I’ve tried just sitting there in the room, resetting it several times in a row—you have to do it manually because you’re not supposed to let your baby cry that loud for that long I guess. I’ve tried SITBACK. I’ve tried getting him sleepy before setting him down, but almost nothing pisses him off more than me trying to “Taking Cara Babies” CRIES him into a drowsy state. Once we’ve given it 10-15 minutes of wailing in the bassinet (I’m talking 100% volume, sets-off-your-smart-watch decibel levels), the road forks: I hold him to sleep then keep trying to put him down; I hold him to sleep and just sit or stand in his room for the rest of the nap; I strap him into the carrier for the rest of the nap. But whatever we do at that point, it involves a lot of intense crying and a far less restful nap than he’d have if I just put him in the carrier to begin with, and 2/3 of those options tie me down for another hour or more while I try to keep him asleep.
His room is dark with blackout curtains and is 71-72 degrees (bought a thermostat for his room in particular in case temperature was the issue.) We use a sound machine, and we have a pre-nap routine that mimics the bedtime routine. And of course I’m watching the wake windows; he seems to be a little higher sleep needs than average. He still doesn’t love being awake for more than 75 minutes at a time, especially for that first wake window which typically precedes our practice nap, so usually I start the nap time routine at the one hour mark.
I am struggling to provide more consistent practice than this because I also have a 2 year old son, and when I’m taking care of him, my ability to sink time and attention into the baby’s nap is very limited. When my toddler has other care, I need to be getting work done, so it’s a big loss to spend so much time on the nap. Best case scenario, trying for the bassinet nap takes 40 minutes more of my time than just putting him in the carrier and carrying on with life, but often it’s much more because I get stuck in his room trying to salvage some sleep for him. And of course, various life things come up, too: grandma visits and offers to hold him, we take a trip, we try to hit up library story time, baby gets his shots, etc. While I understand that this is not a great deal of consistency, it’s hard for me to imagine that there are parents of multiple children out there who have much more consistency to offer. Who that is also taking care of other kids has an hour and a half out of every 3 to render themselves otherwise unavailable, multiple times a day, every day of the week? Maybe I’m dead wrong on this point, but I have to imagine I’m offering as much consistency as other parents of multiple kids have offered their younger babies, babies who somehow began to get some traction after months of effort.
I’m feeling frustrated and hopeless. I am going on 8 weeks of making what feels like a lot of sacrifice to encourage independent napping, and I am not really seeing any progress. In fact, I’m starting to feel like it’s not worth it any more. I’ve already accepted that I’ll need to sleep train; we’re ripping off that bandaid on 7/22 and have multiple out-of-town trips planned before then. And the practice naps come at a big cost to me in terms of both time and peace of mind. Right now, I don’t have full time childcare for my baby, so I am already working in the margins. I keep telling myself that it will save me time once it clicks for him, but like we are months into this and have seen literally no return on the investment. With all the stress it has caused me, we are actually pretty deep in the red.
So: should I cut my losses and just lean in to the carrier nap until the end of July? Or is there something I can do to get bassinet napping online? Why does practicing help other babies but not mine//why have we seen no progress at all when practice is touted as the ticket?!

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II delivers a spellbinding adventure packed with cinematic spectacle and story surprises that maintains a surging sense of forward momentum and never wastes a second of its slender run time. Its combat manages to feel consistently intimidating and immediate despite its mechanical simplicity, and its perspective-based puzzles regularly scratch cerebral itches even though they largely rehash or rework concepts from Senua’s previous story. A journey as brutal as it is beautiful delivered with hardware-pushing visuals and persistently absorbing audio, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II is another Viking-worthy feast for the senses that meets the high bar set by its predecessor, even if it never really manages to clear it.

It's easy to focus on Hellblade 2's flaws because they are so surface level. Combat is repetitive and made an unnecessary focal point. The extra characters dilute instead of adding. I'm still not sure what Hellblade thinks it is, or wants to be. But deeper than that, there is some quality worth rooting for - an interesting protagonist powered by a brilliant performance, ingenious use of the environment for exploration and puzzles, a true electric miracle of motion capture unfolding before our eyes.

Ultimately, Hellblade 2 has to be considered a stumble as Xbox gets its first-party story back on track. The game will likely receive some acclaim during the coming awards season, but this will almost certainly be on a technical basis, and not related to how the game actually plays.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 swings for the fences with a unique narrative, complex themes, top-tier graphics, superb sound design, and crisp animation. In trying to curate a cinematic experience, though, the game can feel less interactive and more prescribed. Combat is chunky and vicious, but it is not as involved as most character action games. You merely go through the motions when solving its puzzles, even if they are visually interesting. And moving from point A to point B doesn’t offer much to do except keep holding forward. If you didn’t enjoy the first game, then the sequel is unlikely to make a believer out of you.

Mostly, Hellblade 2 seems like a victim of its own scope, which is a strange thing to write about a six-hour-long video game. It never knows when to stick with one idea, character, or plotline. The presence of Giants is woven well into the start of the story, but after a touching bit of character development and an epic, tragic boss fight that could have been worked into a perfect climax, the game outstays its welcome by throwing more characters, more combat, more puzzles, and more walking at you.

I wanted to build out a combo setup for my kids with some shade. I was thinking of using four 6x6 pressure treated columns, (3) glued & screwed 2x8x12 for each side, with 2x6x6 pergola rafters. In between the sections, at the top, I wanted to put monkey bars, and on the one side, 2 or 3 sets of swings. My question is, would the ZMax American accents 6x6 posts support the weight, but also the "swinging" motion of the kids? For the rafters, I would use hurricane rafters hangers, and notch them down 2" so they sit into the 3 2x8's, and a few 2x4s for a ladder on both sides. The cement base will be pro-form 12" tube 36" down, just worried about that back and forth movement on the post-base.

Me and a couple friends have been playing a fun round of turning the PVP On so there is a bit of group damage risk when fighting together. We're still a team, but those random poison/fire arrows or a large swing from a two-hander can be deadly to your friend! It's helped us enhance our call outs in fighting and what our actions are when going through the game.
One of the things I wish the game had in its settings was a "PVP For All." In which case, not only would our pvp be on, but the enemy of a same group would also risk damaging each other. It's nice to see a Troll fight an Abomination of course, but I'd like the same groups to be able to damage each other as well. I'm sure we're not alone in thinking that when the Troll slams down to the ground on you and his grey dwarf friends that it would be nice to see him damage those friends. Or a Fuling Shamen accidentally setting a Berserker on fire cause he's in the way of a fireball.

Used to play golf a lot with my dad as a kid & teen. Haven’t played in years and starting to pick it back up again (I’m now 25).
No idea what my handicap is, but I have a decent swing and im not a complete beginner. I’m looking to finally upgrade my clubs to something I feel more confident with, but not ready to blow a whole grand.
Still gaming a set of TopFlite inertia clubs my dad bought me when I was ~13y/o. I upgraded the driver and got a Taylormade R7 and Odyssey white hot putter. I’m really not a fan of the TF irons or 3 wood that came with the set so that’s my main priority.
I’m a lefty and it’s been really hard to find good used deals. I’m considering buying the Costco callaway edge set for $780 CAD, or I found this on Facebook marketplace for $500 CAD:
