2024.05.19 17:12 Unfair-Statement-622 How to start with NO INSURANCE. Might be helpful.

Hello everyone. One of the biggest barriers of entry for me to getting to start Accutane is the cost. It really was demotivating to see how much everything costed as a 19-year-old that didn't really have much money. In the U.S., everything seems so expensive, and without health insurance, it almost feels impossible to start.
For reference, I'm based in Florida. This should help you save money in ONE or TWO factors of cost. Maybe all three factors, considering you do exactly what I have done. Here are the 3 factors.
  1. Monthly Consultation
  2. Bloodwork
  3. Purchasing the Accutane
CONSULTATION
Normally, the consultation cost for an in-person visit is beyond $100. I use an online, U.S. based service called Honeydew. This service, if prescribed with Accutane, is $65 a month. You have a one on one video zoom call, discussing your acne, how you're going to start, and the next steps.
Also, I can give you guys 2 months free of the service. It gives me 2 months free as well, and actually, a referral was the way that I basically covered 2 months of the cost. So, you're saving 2 months of money on a consultation. It will apply after your first month. No, this isn't an ad, I'm just really happy with this service actually being here. Here's the referral link, if y'all do want to try. I also want 2 extra months free lol ;)
https://honeydew.referral-factory.com/gv2VWm
BLOODWORK
Bloodwork costs can also be very expensive without insurance. If you get your bloodwork with Quest Diagnostics, you can save so much money just by ordering it through JasonHealth. How it'll work is simple.
You start with Honeydew for the consultation.
You then get a paper that they send to you to print out, providing the test names and a way for Quest Diagnostics to send Honeydew the test results.
You then order the blood test through JasonHealth. The blood tests that Honeydew asks of you are the following.
Hepatic Function Panel
Lipid Panel, Standard
This is $33 through JasonHealth. I did this and it worked flawlessly. When you buy the blood test, you will get another paper to print out. Bring this to the Quest Diagnostics lab you chose, and you're set. You pay online, and WILL NOT pay at Quest Diagnostics.
PURCHASING THE ACCUTANE
Through Honeydew, they will ask where you want your prescription to be filled out to. Go on GoodRx and search for the cheapest option for isotretinoin. Just provide them the address of the location you'd like to get your prescription given the price. I pay $75.
YOUR MONTHLY COST (AVG)
Let's assume a 7 month course. Bloodwork with Honeydew isn't every month. This is what they specifically said to me. "As long as everything in WNL (within normal levels), you should just need lab work done at month 3 and then can skip labs until 4 weeks post-treatment."
So, you have 3 blood tests. $99.
You have 7 months of consultation: $325 (including the referral).
You have 7 months of accutane: $525
This runs down to an AVERAGE of $135 every month. Remember, some months, you will not pay for bloodwork or consultation.
Even though the price isn't "pretty," it sure is A LOT better than what it would've been without all of this. This is just the price I have to pay.
LINKS TO EVERYTHING.

2024.05.19 17:11 Appropriate_Simple44 A Few Assorted Boss Guides

After beating the game a few times now, I figured I'd write some strategies that helped me beat some hard bosses, namely Owl (Great Shinobi- I have yet to fight Father due to obscure questlines) and Demon of Hatred. There is no guarantee these will work for you, but these methods are what got me through these bosses. I highly recommend getting Ako's sugar, as I used it for both fights.

Great Shinobi - Owl

This is the boss that gave me the most trouble. Luckily, there's an easy- almost cheese- method of beating him.
Items - Ako's sugar, Mortal Draw or Ichimonji or the Ax prosthetic
As I said, this method is almost a cheese, depending on how you see it. Good news is, if you feel that Mortal Draw is too powerful, you should be able to use either of the other two and the method will work fine, it will just take longer.
What you want to do for the majority of the fight is punish his big moves. Things to look out for are his Nightjar slash, which he will use after throwing two shuriken. If you can time it correctly, you can dodge right into him and be in his face as soon as he lands, or dodge to the side to be safer. Once he lands, use any of the three skills above. If you are using Mortal Draw, I recommend only using it once as to save emblems, he will always block the 2nd attack. Once you are out of emblems, use it twice. Additionally, there is one combo you can punish. He will swing at you two or three times, but what you want to look for after that is two, faster slashes. After deflecting these two, hit him with a normal R1. Avoid the medicine charm, I've found it easier to not pursue him while it's out due to the finnicky hitboxes, but maybe attack him from behind or at range if you can. For the phase transition, it does not matter whether or not you attack him or just get near him, he will throw a smoke bomb. Be careful about the move where he jumps off your sword, as in the 2nd phase he will throw poison.
DO NOT USE: CHARGED R1 OR SPEAR PROTSTETHIC, he has a mikiri counter that can deal devastating damage. Shadowrush/hunt will not trigger the mikiri on this version of the boss. If your posture is broken, get up ASAP- he has a move where he will stomp on Sekiro and deal massive damage. Owl has a running slash which will almost always be followed by the medicine ban. There is a move similar in which he will throw a shuriken and then slash, you should do your best to deflect this, it will push you back but otherwise it will deal massive damage, to either your health or posture. This boss does heavy posture damage, so keep your health high.

Demon of Hatred

This boss absolutely sucked to fight the first time I did. I had killed him using a cheese and then fought him in reflection it was that bad. I've gotten a bit of a better hang on him now, although it's still a tedious fight.
Items - Ako's sugar, divine confetti, Suzaku's Lotus Umbrella, Malcontent, Yashikaru's sugar
You want to save the Malcontent and Yashikaru's sugar for the third phase, and the umbrella is not necessary. Make sure you have enough emblems to use Malcontent three times-12 emblems. You will only really get a few hits in at each window, so be careful. This boss has a much different battle flow than the rest.
A lot of the first two phases is running and chasing, so be thankful that Sekiro has no stamina bar. This boss is essentially Run to the Left + Punish Big Moves Simulator. By running to the left, almost all moves can be avoided. For the giant fire slam, either run away and grapple back, or use the umbrella. When he throws the fireball cluster at you, sometimes you can avoid by running to the left, but I've found this inconsistent. Often, the umbrella will be safer. For his combo, I tend to deflect the first, fire arm, hit, before being able to get close enough to hit him safely while the combo plays out. He has a perilous move in which he will drag his arm across the ground, you need to jump ASAP as this is often a death sentence. Other than that, often running to the left will keep you safe. His 2nd phase has a large window in which you can buff, before being hit by a nondamaging shockwave.
Third Phase - This is where you'll use the Yashikaru's sugar and Malcontent. Buff with both confetti and the sugar, then use Malcontent. You will have a fairly small window to get these activated. Once buffed, use an uncharged Malcontent. This will stun him for enough time to get 7-8 hits. After this, use Malcontent again and hit him until he gets stunned. If he still has health after the 2nd Malcontent + stun, use the third charge of Malcontent. This method has consistently killed him for me.
Hopefully these guides help someone, please feel free to criticize as this is my first time writing any kind of guide. I do ask that any criticism is useful, nothing just like "This is useless" or "Doesn't make sense." If these are well received, I may end up writing a guide for Emma/Isshin, as I just beat them last night.

2024.05.19 17:11 Ggleemo Should I buy this?

Should I buy this?
Currently struggling in Citadel, I need a lot of med kits or food to grind for items there even fighting Marcus Cage, I can't stand to long.
What team should I use (just a free to play player) and what weapons? I've seen some team that used SG nor SR, is that really good? Or should I use a weapon that designed to those characters.

2024.05.19 16:58 Temporary-Platypus80 Is Cash Back just a flawed design? I can't see a middle ground for this rune. Either its taken because its broken or its ignored because it has no meaningful impact

Think about it. In what world would riot allow Cash back to be a good rune? If its ever good, it would be considered busted, considering it just gives you gold risk free. Complete and item and get gold back? There's just no way Riot is actually going to allow this rune to be effective/good lol.
Because if it is actually good, then why wouldn't EVERYONE just run it? And when its not good...why would you run it?
This rune feels like it'll just end up being as unpopular as Future Market was, if not even less popular. Which isn't that one of the reasons it got the boot to begin with? Riot specifically noted that people weren't taking it when discussing its removal lol.
Maybe I'm overthinking it. But rune just looks like something that is either taken because its busted or ignored because its ass when its not busted.

2024.05.19 16:55 YorkieCheese My ex-employer (McMaster-Carr) is recruiting for consultants while fluffing job descriptions and manipulating Glassdoor Reviews. Be vigilante. Chicago, Cleveland, New Jersey, Los Angeles, Atlanta.

I'm sure most of Chicago/Booth/Kellogg have heard of this company by now, but they also started recruiting consultants/MBA for their other branches (T25) so I made a post.
TLDR: If you're toxic, there's more worthy places to climb. If you aren't toxic, you will either be disgusted or turn toxic. This place will tank your resume/career progression if you stay for more than 2-3 years.
Quick Intro: McMaster-Carr is the Amazon of Industrial Supplies. They ship to the US Miltary, manufacturers, engineers, technicians, etc... Their customers are the engineers but the bills are paid by the Finance Dept hence as long as McM do a consistent good job delivering to the engineers, they can charge exorbitant amount (e.g $30 screw and $50 shipping; real example.) Their margins on most items are between 50% to 250% and revenue is $5B+. This is how they can pay entry managements with 0yoe $170k (bonus included, deferred saving excluded; see more below) and middle managers (3-10YOE) up to $300k.
Path/Exit: You will get a random rotation every 6-18 months. The rotation can be literally anything from Warehouse Operations Management Role to HR to Finance/Fraud. Management Trainee (0-18m depending on your background/initial performance). Supervisor (no pay raise as MT are expected to become Sup eventually; can be skipped if you have pre-MBA exp and did well in your initial performance.) ManageSeniorM (3-5yoe/5-8yoe; most people languished here until they decided to go all in or all out with McMaster.) After this come Regional ManageDirectoVP. You can leave at M/SM and might still be able to transition to a new careeindustry afterward. Otherwise, it's a tough sale. Even before the mid-2023 general market downturn, I knew Regional/Directors who took 1+ year just to switch to another manufacturing/industrial/supplychain job. Not even an industry switch.
Their Targets: In the past, 95%+ of management came from straight out of Ivy/Top Liberal Arts undergrad. This breeds an incredibly toxic environment since many of them are not mature/don't have leadership experience (the cream of the crop don't consider McMaster) and it's a case of the blinds leading the blinds. McM had a purge of toxic leaders back in mid-2010s but this problem returned. Since then, they have tried to recruit a few more consultants rather than depending solely on fresh grads. This recruiting effort has and continued to go miserably. Despite mass reach-out effort every single year, they only got some ex-B4 (1 Parthenon but the rest is regular B4), but they couldn't get anyone from T2 or MBB.
Nature of the work: (Micro)managing individual contributors and troubleshooting outdated issues (that are only found in 40yo+ warehouses) if you get a warehouse rotation. McM tries to sell you on these, but from my post-McM interviews as well as McM managers' outcomes, these skills are worthless. For once, the ICs get paid quite well so they work very hard. Management, in an attempt to justify their outrageous salary, tries to micromanage all the time even when outclassed by 20+ years of knowledge. IC vs Management issue will be further discussed in the Cons section. Another issue is that managing blue-collar is no way the same as managing white-collar so most hiring managers don't really care for this exp. The company doesn't really do marketing, M&A, or new market (it took them 30+ years to just now opening a new branch in Texas because McM's tech couldn't handle having 6 warehouses instead of 5.) I'm not kidding. They passed on growth opportunity for 30+ years because they didn't want to change... Also because the company doesn't do marketing, they are not good at customer behavior analytics, resulting in their website redesign that took 2+ years to get scraped ater 1 week due to customer complaints.)
Pro:
• Their pay. McM has a 2.9 Glassdoor rating despite having a 4.6 rating in Compensation and Benefits. Pay include:
 •Base (0yoe: ~115k; ~$10k for each add year; ~$160k for Manager) •Profit Sharing (average 50%+ of base; lowest was ~33% in 2008 & 45% in 2020; 2022 was ~50%+ and 2023 was ~60%) •Deferred Saving (25% of Base&PS. Vest schedule 0%/20%/40%/60%/80%/100% over 6 years.)
• Their Education tuition policy: After the first 3 months, You can take any part-time program (e.g PT-MBA, PT-MS, PT-MA) or Certificate completely free, doesn’t have to be work-related, and no string attached. You can literally leave after they paid for your tuition and can still finish your course.
Cons: Glassdoor Reviews:
• There’s another purge/headcount reduction going on right now. A tidbit is that management above your level can see the performance review of everyone below them. This contributes to how much drama, backstabbing, and rumors float internally. Recently, an ex-Trainee even wrote a long post calling out his spineless manager and backstabbing coworkers in a GroupMe with 100+ members of management. The manager left soon after. The ex-Trainee even told McMaster to blacklist his undergrad for recruiting. Absolute legend.
• The operations and tech stack are very constrained and not replicable. The company uses 80s IBM Tech for CRM/ERP so unless you’re working on a Website-related project (which you can sometimes use Python/SQL), you will be writing outdated queries to pull data. McM also doesn’t use Powerpoint so you will have to learn Adobe Indesign. The company’s warehouses themselves have a ton of makeshifts and outdated stuff. If you get a warehouse assignment, you will be putting out fires arose from issues not addressed by the original warehouse design. If you think you will be value-add to a company like Amazon after your McMaster’s experience, you are wrong. Amazon warehouses are built in the early/mid 2010s and have about 30 years of new automation/technology integrated to them. McM is still tinkering with their first automated warehouse. Experience putting out fixed/nonexistent issues is worthless.
• This company hire fake review writers. You will notice the positive reviews are all generic and one line whereas the negative reviews (from both Managements and ICs) are all super long and super informative. You will also notice that there’s no longer a “Most Helpful” sort on Glassdoor. This is because all the negative reviews get liked so much. Now it’s just “Most Popular” which is just fake reviews with 0 like/dislike.
• Relationships between Management and Individual Contributors are more fraught than ever. The situation has always been incredibly tense because ICs were viewed with incredible disdain by Management (most of whom are rich Ivy/Top School graduates) but has only gotten worse with automation and market uncertainty.
• Management’s official policy is to never promote Individual Contributors. A fresh grad (0YOE) can instantly become a supervisor but somehow an IC needed 8+ years of consistent excellent performance to be considered. Management can become Manager in as little as 2yoe out of Undergrad, whereas IC -> Manager is so rare I can count the Chicago Branch on two hands. And no, it’s not because ICs are not qualified/hardworking. Just imagine how hard it is to work at Amazon-pace for EIGHT YEARS just to be equal to a college brown-nose.
• Management’s unofficial policy is to avoid eye contact or saying hello to ICs unless the ICs initiated it. ICs were afraid to take more than one food/souvenir item during an open house event even though we had so much leftover. A manager even complained that other managers were making fun of ICs for work-place injuries (think Amazon warehouse-like injuries such as overexertion, nerve damage, wrist/knees/back issues.) Absolutely devoid of humanity.
• The company had been automating part of the Atlanta and Chicago warehouses. Managements assigned to be tour guides of these automated warehouses were told to lie say that no IC headcount reduction will occur. Obviously, there were a rise in suspicious performance evaluation after these were built. Also, I was one of the tour guides and were asked by multiple ICs where the observation cameras will be in the ceiling. The fact that multiple raised this seemingly-joking-yet-alarming question tells you just how much Management has trained ICs to become paranoid over time. If you’re a new-hire consultant at McM and feels related to this meme, just know you will be holding the mop to clean up and not the lightsaber.

2024.05.19 16:55 Whole-Bluebird-6906 Are there lockers in Blaarmeersen?

Are there lockers in the Blaarmeersen area, when you can store and lock your valuable items in (e.g., phone, wallet, etc.) when you're going swimming?
And if there are, in which part of the park are they located? And are they paid or free?
I tried looking for this information on the internet, but I couldn't find anything.
Thanks!

2024.05.19 16:50 brooklyn0088 Roblox Game

This is a kind of odd post, but remembering playing this game knowing I'm the only one who remembers it makes me mad. I've been playing Roblox for several years now (account was created in 2016) so it's hard for me to place when I remember playing it. I searched through all my badges several months ago and didn't see any badges from the game, making me think the game might've gotten deleted? I don't know, I'll look through my badges and favorite games again after I post this.
Anyways, enough of all that, here's what I remember of the game.
It was a tycoon, you were building an empire/castle. I know there was a courtyard type of thing in the middle of the primary castle building that had animated butterflies. Which was definitely very fancy for whatever time period I was playing this game. Like regular tycoons, this game had buttons to purchase items. I think they were still circles, but they definitely were smaller than usual. There was so many different items you could purchase, which is why I say it might be an empire instead of just a castle. I think for some items NPC's would show up as well.
Sorry if this post is really confusing, I never post on reddit. Feel free to ask me any questions and please do tell me if you also remember this game, I feel like I'm going crazy.

2024.05.19 16:36 YorkieCheese My ex-employer (McMaster-Carr) is recruiting for consultants while fluffing job descriptions and manipulating Glassdoor Reviews. Be vigilante. Chicago, Cleveland, New Jersey, Los Angeles, Atlanta.

I'm sure most of Chicago/Booth/Kellogg have heard of this company by now, but they recently started recruiting consultants/MBA for their other branches (T25) so I make the post.
Quick Intro: McMaster-Carr is the Amazon of Industrial Supplies. They ship to the US Miltary, manufacturers, engineers, technicians, etc... Their customers are the engineers but the bills are paid by the Finance Dept hence as long as McM do a consistent good job delivering to the engineers, they can charge exorbitant amount (e.g $30 screw and $50 shipping; real example.)This is how they can pay entry managements with 0yoe $170k (bonus included, deferred saving excluded) and middle managers (3-10YOE) up to $300k.
Even before the mid-2023 general market downturn, I knew Regional/Directors who took 1+ year just to switch to another industrial/industrial job.
