Recently, I have been doing chaos (fault) tests on the robustness of some self-built database driveclient base libraries to verify and understand the fault handling mechanism and recovery time of the business. It mainly involves the two basic components MongoDB and etcd. This article will introduce the relevant test methods.

Fault test in MongoDB

MongoDB is a popular document database in the world, supporting ACID transactions, distributed and other features.

Most of the articles on chaos (fault) testing of MongoDB in the community are simulated by processing monogd or mongos. For example, if you want MongoDB to trigger copy set switching, you can use a shell script like this:

# suspended the primary node kill -s STOP  # After the service is damaged, MongoDB should stepDown ReplicaSet in a few seconds to ten seconds. # After the stepDown is complete, the service can automatically switch the connection to the new working primary node, without manual intervention, the service will return to normal. # The reliability of the Mongo Client Driver is generally verified here. 

The above-mentioned means are generally system-level, if we just want to simulate a MongoDB command command encountered network problems, how to do further want to conduct more fine-grained testing. In fact, MongoDB in 4.x version above has implemented a set of controllable fault point simulation mechanism -> failCommand.
When deploying a MongoDB replica set in a test environment, you can generally enable this feature in the following ways:

mongod --setParameter enableTestCommands=1 

Then we can open the fault point for a specific command through the mongo shell, for example, for a find operation to make it return error code 2:

These fault point simulations are controllable, and the cost is relatively low compared to the direct destruction on the machine, and it is also suitable for integrating into continuous integration automation processes. The MongoDB built-in fault point mechanism also supports many features, such as allowing a certain fault probability to occur, returning any MongoDB supported error code type, etc. Through this mechanism, we can easily verify the reliability of our own implementation of the MongoDB Client Driver in unit tests and integration tests.

Fault test in etcd

etcd is an open source and highly available distributed key-value storage system, which is mainly used for shared configuration and service discovery.

We mentioned earlier that MongoDB has a built-in controllable fault point injection mechanism to facilitate us to do fault point testing, so does etcd also provide it?
Yes, etcd officials also provide a built-in controllable fault injection method to facilitate us to do fault simulation tests around etcd. However, the official binary distribution available for deployment does not use the fault injection feature by default, which is different from the switch provided by MongoDB. etcd requires us to manually compile the binary containing the fault injection feature from the source code for deployment.
etcd has officially implemented a Go package gofail to do "controllable" fault point testing, which can control the probability and number of specific faults. gofail can be used in any Go implementation program.
In principle, comments are used in the source code to bury some fault injection points in places where problems may occur through comments (// gofail:), which is biased towards testing and verification, for example:

Before using go build to build the binary, use the command line tool gofail enable provided by gofail to cancel the comments of these fault injection related codes and generate the code related to the fault point, so that the compiled binary can be used for fine-grained testing of fault scenarios. Use gofail disable to remove the generated fault point related codes, the binary compiled with go build can be used in the production environment.
When executing final binary, you can wake up the fault point through the environment variable GOFAIL_FAILPOINTS. if your binary program is a service that never stops, you can start an HTTP endpoint to wake up the buried fault point to the external test tool by GOFAIL_HTTP the environment variable at the same time as the program starts.
The specific principle implementation can be seen in the design document of gofail-> design.

It is worth mentioning that pingcap have rebuilt a wheel based on gofail and made many optimizations: failpoint related code should not have any additional overhead; Can not affect the normal function logic, can not have any intrusion on the function code; failpoint code must be easy to read, easy to write and can introduce compiler detection; In the generated code, the line number of the functional logic code cannot be changed (easy to debug);

Compile etcd for fault testing

corresponding commands have been built into the Makefile of the official etcd github repository to help us quickly compile the binary etcd server containing fault points. the compilation steps are roughly as follows:

There are three major themes driving your process. The axis of ‘Expansion of Self-Awareness”, the axis of ‘Focus-Fate’ and the axis of ‘Change-Transformation’.
Blue 2- Red 1: Axis of Expansion of Self-Awareness: 2(6)-7(1)
The axis of inner awakening and leadership drives the axis of the expansion of self-awareness. The challenge is to answer the quintessential question: “WHO AM I?’ As It is the second dominant axis in the Pentagram after the central axis, it is imperative in the 15 Pentagram that you work on the expansion of your self-awareness. The two opposing principles are the ‘Healing and Salvation number’ coming from the spiritual level to join with the ‘Visionary’ coming from the physical level. So working on the expansion of your self-awareness brings healing and salvation on the spiritual level which could translate into visionary powers on the physical level. Remember that the 2-7 axis is also called the psycho-somatic axis. If you fail or refuse to work on your self-awareness, it will have its effects on the physical body. Either making you feel depressed, without energy or even allow illnesses to grow.

Positively your Power -Force drives your Intuition and creates healing and salvation. Negatively it may shatter your intuition completely. The way you relate to others and how you define your relationships drives your focus and concentration. In short: your relationships trigger what you need to let go of and what you need to hold on to. Should you fail to do so, then Fate falls upon you.
The two opposing principles are ‘Karma of the people', coming from the emotional level to join with ‘Spirit of Time, Reformer’ coming from the mental level. You basically want to combine your desire to solve Karma of yourself and others, with your mind awareness of what is actually going on in the world and which reforms are needed.

It deals with the current state of our human development. 4-8 is the Astral-Emotional level in the Pentagram. You want to support yourself and others in resolving their fate. 93: Spirit of Time; Reformer
3-9 is the level of day consciousness n the Pentagram: being wide-awake in the here and now. Here you start to pick up the changes in the Zeitgeist, as you hold here all the accumulated experiences and wisdom of your life (and perhaps previous lives). It seeks the same perfection as in the Karma of the people. It calls for the conscious decision for the awareness that God (or the Divine) manifests itself through us and in us by means of Divine Guidance.
To balance these two principles you must take the conscious decision to learn and receive insights from karma and that those insights lead to focussing your life. It also brings out the “Luck-Monogram”. Once you hit the right focus, Luck will be bestowed upon you.
Blue 5 - Red 4: Axis of Change and Transformation: 59-(10)4
Focus concentration drives your change and transformation. You constantly need to ask yourself: what do I need to let go of and what do I need to hold on to, so that I may advance and create change and transformation in my life? The two opposing principles are the “Ascending Prophet” coming from the physical level to join with “Harshness of Life, Deepest Commitment” coming from the spiritual level. Being on the physical level you become aware that there is more to life than what you can hear, see, smell, taste or touch. On the spiritual level you are aware that the only constant is change-which scares the hell out of you.
59: The Ascending Prophet is still very much in the ‘learning phase’ and thus confronted with the Temptation to either refuse this spiritual calling or to consider as something too special for him and to only concern himself with the external or physical matters of life. The dedication to your own spirituality is the determining factor (in your life as well). If you do commit yourself to that, then from deep within come the conscious insights, which you then want to share, making you a prophet (perhaps against your will)
104: The only constant is ‘change’. Harshness of Life confronts you with that when you desperately try to hold on to what you have and what you know. It feels as if you can only serve progress and transformation through the deepest commitment- without being aware that it is you yourself that blocks the progress and commitment.

All levels give you the desire to intuitively ‘Know God’ and by manifesting the Divine Connection. In practical terms is means that you listen and act upon your intuition, your insights, your inspiration, your ‘hunches’ as opposed to listening to your instincts.

Your spiritual, emotional and physical awareness is further enhanced today by the connection to the 1st principle. It wants you to expand your serving, healing and aiding of others and yourself, with mastery and power at its core.

SEX IN LGBTQ SCHOOL LIBRARY BOOKS:
When I was growing up, I do recall reading some books such as Catcher in the Rye which did contain some sexual themes and profanity. However, in recent years the sexualization of children has been thoroughly ramped up via LGBTQ propaganda in the form of sexually explicit school library books. Children are still trying to figure out who they really are as a person, and by indoctrinating them with gender confusion propaganda at such a young age we are ensuring they will be steered in the wrong direction. Which is of course exactly what The Powers That Be really want. By the way, when I was searching for examples of LGBTQ books with sexual content, I had to scroll through 3 pages of LGBTQ apologist articles decrying about all these "banned LGBTQ books". What's interesting is that all of these CIA Mockingbird Media propaganda articles always say the books are being banned for their LGBTQ content, not for their explicit sexual content (which doesn't necessarily have to be gay or trans in any way). For instance, ABC News"Report: LGBTQ content drove book banning efforts in 2023" (LINK) and NBC News "More than half of 2023's most challenged books have LGBTQ themes" (LINK). As far as I'm concerned, all the claims about Erik Callen being a Satanist and marketing products to children have been thoroughly UNDEBUNKED just based on his products and post history on Instagram. This to me is clearly a case of classic bait and switch. Market some seemingly innocent "trans inclusive" clothing to children, get them hooked on the Abprallen brand while they're young, then "transition" them to the more seedy and shady product offerings. Based on the products and images shown above, can this really be considered a gender identity? Or is this more appropriately categorized as a mental illness and a cult? The embracing of confusion. On June 20 2023, Elon Musk tweeted out that the term "cisgender" would now be treated as a slur on Twitter / X. On May 15th 2024, this promise was made into a reality. Attempting to post with the word "cis" or "cisgender" results in the user being given a warning and the option to delete the tweet.
This event today was what got me to finally sit down and pump out this post which has been sitting in my brain simmering for years. This also made me think about the real meaning of the term "Cis" which basically means "Normal" or "Same Gender As Assigned At Birth". "Cis" is pronounced the same as "Sis" (Sister), and can be expanded to "Cissy" / "Sissy" (Wimp). Also, "Cis" backwards is "Sic" or "Sick". So basically when you're called "Cis" gender, you're being called a woman, a wimp, and sick, all because you chose to remain a heterosexual during this assault on what it means to be a human. "Cis" is a CIA Tavistock style social engineering term which is meant to discourage you from being straight, and it's trying to bully you into the LGBTQ lifestyle (or is that "death style" since they don't reproduce?). "Cis" is an abnormal and weaponized term which was created to make what's natural seem unnatural, and to make what's normal sound abnormal. I would argue terms "gender normative" and "breeders" are also similar weaponized social engineering terms meant to covertly psychologically wage warfare against heterosexuality.

A recent study of 139 dysphoric male children who were monitored from age 7 up until age 20 showed that 87.8 percent of the boys grew out of this phase and reverted back to identifying as their birth gender by the time they were adults. And in other related news, a couple in Montana have claimed that the Montana CFS (Child and Family Services) have taken custody of their 14 year old daughter for refusing her gender affirming care. At follow-up, researchers classified participants as persisters (which the study defines as “boys who continued to have gender dysphoria”) or desisters (boys who did not continue to have gender dysphoria), and deduced their sexual orientation based on fantasy and behavior. Researchers found that 17 (12.2%) of the participants persisted in their gender dysphoria, and the remaining 122 (87.8%) desisted."
Montana parents say they lost custody of daughter after opposing 14-year-old’s gender transition: report (LINK)

This post is the culmination of my years of research on multiple topics which all tie into pedophilia, LGBTQ, transgenderism, autism, transhumanism, and the New World Order. By the way, I do not have a problem with gay or transgender people whatsoever so long as they would just please leave the children alone. Stop encouraging children to make irreversible permanent alterations to their body just to serve an agenda of "inclusiveness" and "tolerance".
Also, this goes without saying, and it goes to all people not just LGBTQ: stop sexually abusing children. This is the most unnatural sexual depravity you can possibly take part in. You're destroying innocence and you're destroying lives. And you're just continuing the cycle of abuse, since it does appear that many pedophiles were also sexually abused when they were children (Jeffrey Epstein got really uncomfortable and refused to answer when he was asked about his own sexual abuse as a child).
Finally, I will again reiterate that there's no problem with being gay, lesbian, bisexual, non binary, transgender, etc. However, the specific group called LGBTQ is an extremist organization of The Illuminati which is pushing Satanic agendas as part of the New World Order. I recommend that no matter how you identify yourself, that you are able to identify a predatory social engineering mind control agenda for what it is.

Themes
There are three major themes driving your process. The axis of ‘Expansion of Self-Awareness”, the axis of ‘Focus-Fate’ and the axis of ‘Change-Transformation’.
Blue 2- Red 1: Axis of Expansion of Self-Awareness: 2(6)-7(1)
The axis of inner awakening and leadership drives the axis of the expansion of self-awareness. The challenge is to answer the quintessential question: “WHO AM I?’ As It is the second dominant axis in the Pentagram after the central axis, it is imperative in the 15 Pentagram that you work on the expansion of your self-awareness. The two opposing principles are the ‘Healing and Salvation number’ coming from the spiritual level to join with the ‘Visionary’ coming from the physical level. So working on the expansion of your self-awareness brings healing and salvation on the spiritual level which could translate into visionary powers on the physical level. Remember that the 2-7 axis is also called the psycho-somatic axis. If you fail or refuse to work on your self-awareness, it will have its effects on the physical body. Either making you feel depressed, without energy or even allow illnesses to grow.
26: ’Healing and Salvation number’.
Positively your Power -Force drives your Intuition and creates healing and salvation. Negatively it may shatter your intuition completely. The earthly-physical power may at times not accord at all with intuition on the spiritual level. It is a difficult number to live. The solution lies in its sum: When you use the feminine receptive side of you, you may be able to bring those two principles together.
76: ’Visionary’
Visionary is the higher dimension of ‘Insight, the Inner Rising Sun, the new dawn of awareness. Being the visionary, you start to understand -on a physical level here- the spiritual relationships and their origins.
The balance of these two principles lies in their sum: ‘Factor of Justice; Master’. It is the turnaround of the RuleJudge energy and it demands that Self-Awareness guides the Mind. Being a “Master” means having the awareness of being the Co-Creator of one’s own life. It has at its core the healing and salvation part of this axis.
Remember that there is no scientific all-encompassing answer as to Who or What or Why you are. In itself it is a Zen Koan and only you know if you have found the right answer. You do when you the answer resonates with your deep inner feeling of Justice and Mastery.
Blue 4- Blue 9: The axis of Fate, Focus and Concentration: 4(8)-9(3)
The way you relate to others and how you define your relationships drives your focus and concentration. In short: your relationships trigger what you need to let go of and what you need to hold on to. Should you fail to do so, then Fate falls upon you.
The two opposing principles are ‘Karma of the people', coming from the emotional level to join with ‘Spirit of Time, Reformer’ coming from the mental level. You basically want to combine your desire to solve Karma of yourself and others, with your mind awareness of what is actually going on in the world and which reforms are needed.
48: Karma of the People
It deals with the current state of our human development. 4-8 is the Astral-Emotional level in the Pentagram. You want to support yourself and others in resolving their fate. It brings the desire for perfectionism and the will to change. Your warm side (8) wants to invigorate your cold (4) side. It calls for a conscious decision for perseverance, intuiting to accept the light and the dark and merging the masculine and the feminine. The danger is to doubt and to refuse to move on. If you do that, it creates even more Karma.
93: Spirit of Time; Reformer
3-9 is the level of day consciousness n the Pentagram: being wide-awake in the here and now. Here you start to pick up the changes in the Zeitgeist, as you hold here all the accumulated experiences and wisdom of your life (and perhaps previous lives). It seeks the same perfection as in the Karma of the people. It calls for the conscious decision for the awareness that God (or the Divine) manifests itself through us and in us by means of Divine Guidance.
To balance these two principles you must take the conscious decision to learn and receive insights from karma and that those insights lead to focussing your life. It also brings out the “Luck-Monogram”. Once you hit the right focus, Luck will be bestowed upon you.
Blue 5 - Red 4: Axis of Change and Transformation: 59-(10)4
Focus concentration drives your change and transformation. You constantly need to ask yourself: what do I need to let go of and what do I need to hold on to, so that I may advance and create change and transformation in my life? The two opposing principles are the “Ascending Prophet” coming from the physical level to join with “Harshness of Life, Deepest Commitment” coming from the spiritual level. Being on the physical level you become aware that there is more to life than what you can hear, see, smell, taste or touch. On the spiritual level you are aware that the only constant is change-which scares the hell out of you.
59: The Ascending Prophet is still very much in the ‘learning phase’ and thus confronted with the Temptation to either refuse this spiritual calling or to consider as something too special for him and to only concern himself with the external or physical matters of life. The dedication to your own spirituality is the determining factor (in your life as well). If you do commit yourself to that, then from deep within come the conscious insights, which you then want to share, making you a prophet (perhaps against your will)
104: The only constant is ‘change’. Harshness of Life confronts you with that when you desperately try to hold on to what you have and what you know. It feels as if you can only serve progress and transformation through the deepest commitment- without being aware that it is you yourself that blocks the progress and commitment.
If you are able to use your receptive femininity to re-construct and re-new, if you trust your intuition to guide you to (un)deserved Luck and manifest your healing- and saving capacities, then Harshness of Life will give you the insight when to stop and when to transform . Life fulfillment will be the end result.
To balance the two principles you must become wide awake in the here and now and even take that to a higher level. It calls for developing an “awakened divine awareness” in which the only constant is change.

Your spiritual, emotional and physical awareness is high today.
On the spiritual level obtained through ‘Healing and Salvation’ combined with ‘Harshness of Life’.
On the emotional level through ‘People’s Karma’ and ‘Detachment, Redemption’. On the physical level through the ‘Ascending Prophet’ and the ‘Visionary’.
All levels give you the desire to intuitively ‘Know God’ and by manifesting the Divine Connection. In practical terms is means that you listen and act upon your intuition, your insights, your inspiration, your ‘hunches’ as opposed to listening to your instincts.
Triangle
Your spiritual, emotional and physical awareness is further enhanced today by the connection to the 1st principle. It wants you to expand your serving, healing and aiding of others and yourself, with mastery and power at its core.

PC keeps crashing with “AMDRyzenMasterV22 can not create a file when a file already exists” in event viewer. I have uninstalled/deleted V22 and V20 ryzen master several times but they both keep popping back in my registry and causing my pc to crash when I’m playing games. I have updates my mobo bios to the latest version and reinstalled windows 11 several times and nothings worked. Any help would be appreciated.

I played in a three round RTT today with a list that was heavy into Darkoath. List wasn’t super optimized, so I added some stuff in that usually never sees the table to test their viability, like a Centaurion for the 5+ rally, and a Myrmidon to run with my Theridons.
Ultimately I got stuck into two not great matchups: SoB and Kruleboys. I was just overpowered and screened hard by the Gargants, and then completely rekt by orruk bolt boys. I made some tactical errors in both matches (had to drop the third due to family reasons), but it was mostly a combination of not being aggressive enough in board control maneuvers, and then a million MWs coming at me hard and fast.
Ultimately, this was my first horde style list, and it was a bit of a… culture shock? I was slower than usual, since I’m used to playing elite style armies, I’m sure there will be better pilots than me using a full Darkoath list, but for my money, I’m going to need to do some serious practice to pick up any sort of proficiency with these fellows.
Some things of note:
Enemy players will go hard after some pretty essential lynchpins, like the mounted chieftain, Sarrakar, and the Wilderfiend. While each one can be resummoned with rally the tribes, each tribe rally used on regaining a lost hero is one less tribe rally used on marauders or Fellriders. Losing the double heroic of the mounted chieftan is especially irritating.
The mounted chieftain’s oath is nearly impossible to get and survive after the getting. That +1 to wound aura is nice, but he is oh so squishy.
Clearing the oath of almost every Darkoath unit while also earning and aggregating eye of the gods table rolls is super rough. Even if your marauders clear their oath, much like the chieftain, they’re not likely to survive terribly long after the charge.
The Centaurion was helpful with rally, sort of. Rolled twice to rally some half dead marauders, reinforced, and even with 7+ rally rolls, across two turns, only managed to recover three guys. I think rally the tribes may be better overall than trying to spend a cp to get no guys back.
Additionally, having idolator lord on the Centaurion is nice in theory, but it’s hard to keep him alive long enough to curse a target, especially if he can’t see any of those targets outside of 12”. Weight of dice on spear marauders would have earned a handful of MWs normally, but it’s irrelevant without being able to get curse off. I’m thinking switching to a Kark lord to make a priest to give the roll a little more beef and punchy power.
Khorne Greataxe Theridons can put out a lot of hurt on the charge with savagery unleashed, with the expectation of getting melted after their damage is done, especially nice with curse. Ultimately doesn’t matter if you can’t get the curse off and are at a basically permanent -1 to hit. Their damage skews to completely inconsequential. These guys aren’t the blender Chosen are, but their points are much nicer for their glass cannon status.
A reinforced block of Fellriders does very little in combat; their ranged attacks are superior, but it doesn’t matter much when they’re erased almost immediately by orruk crossbows that seemingly never hit on anything but rolls of fives and sixes, leading to ridiculously high MW counts.
My list finally caused me to realize why so many people complained about MW spam, to which I’d been mostly oblivious, normally running elite bodies with rune wards. There is no coping with MWs with these fellows.
The Gnarlspirit pack are great in theory, but didn’t put in any work. They’re still great for getting an overshadow score in, but I never got to swing with them since they got shot off the board super fast, and missed their only charge opportunity at 7”. Sarrakar was decent, but not exceptional. The mainline sorcerer lord was objectively better just on access to Oracular and Demonic Power alone. Downside is the complete lack of synergy with the DO guys. Eldritch Command artifact was fun though, stealing a Jaws spell twice, forcing the other guy to waste a cast on a dispel both times.
Savagers are mid. Next time I’ll just run Splintered Fang or fit some other battleline in.
I think I’ll try to fit Belakor in my list somehow, I love running him, and having Dark Master for at least one turn might have helped shift some momentum in my favour.
So that’s the off the top of my head notes for my first two games with 3e Ravagers/Darkoath.
