I am currently playing on Fabric 1.20.4, but was still experiencing it on Fabric 1.20.1. What happens is that whenever I start the game one of three things happens: it doesn't do anything, I get an exit code 1, or it launches and I get to play for ~5-20mins before it crashes and I get an exit code -1073740791. The crashes don't seem to have any identifiable cause (but I'm no coder). I've tried reinstalling MC, reinstalling Java, changing versions, updating graphics (Nvidia), and using vanilla MC (still crashes). I've attached crash reports for both exit codes as well as a list of all my mods in case they're the issue. If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate you!

I’ve been trying to figure out how to download homebrew onto my 3DS XL but since I’m using Linux it’s telling me to do a lot of coding stuff that I don’t understand, if anyone has a video on how to homebrew with Linux, or the spare time to help me I would really apprappreciate trying to figure out how to get started with putting games on this 3ds. I’ve got a card reader, I’m using the external sd card reader which I hope is fine, I added the friend code but when I tried running “python3 -v” it wouldn’t show me a version # but instead a bunch of texts saying it’s importing file loaders. So maybe I don’t have the right python or something, but when I downloaded the right folders, I tried unzipping them but there wasn’t an option in the folders, I tried running an unzip command but then the file isn’t recognized. I’m not much of a coding guy, so I guess the devil himself decided I deserve this damn Chromebook. But if theirs a video tutorial (even though people say not to use that) Then it would be a lot easier because it telling me to run commands that I don’t know how to execute with getting a syntax error or an unrecognized command.

I apologize in advance, this is a long one! but I’m really needing advice!
I, (23F) have been growing distant from my best friend (23F) of 7 years pretty much since the beginning of the year. For context, we both have always been really into spirituality and both struggled with depression since high school. Around 2 years ago, my friend got therapy and was graduated by her therapist after about a year. Since then, she expresses a lot of self affirmation in our daily conversations, ranging from how much she loves herself and her appearance to how proud of herself she is for how far she’s come, which I think is beautiful, even though it does get to be quite repetitive.
The problem is that I have always found my friend to be quite judgmental and critical, but for the most part I have ignored it. She says all the time that she is working on this. In the past, she has been very critical of my choices, especially in romantic partners, even to the point of being rude to them. We are both neurodivergent, with me having ADHD and her being on the autistic spectrum (both self diagnosed/ suggested by therapists). She frequently calls herself an empath, but often times has a hard time sympathizing with people are not operating at the same level of “healed” as her or judges them for it. She will also judge people’s appearance or hygiene. For example, if she sees someone with pajamas on in public, she will say something about it.
Until recently, she would scold me like a parent if I did something that she thought was dumb. For example, I cut some of my hair out of my head trying to remove a rubber band, and when i told her about it she said “honestly why would you be playing in your head with scissors? I thought we all had experiences that taught us not to do that.” I told her i didn’t like that and she did take it well and apologized and for the most part stopped doing things like that, only with the occasional slip up. We had another conversation like that about her shutting down a conversation concerning something that I told her that I did that was outside of her moral code, in which she empathized with me and was able to see why I didn’t like the way she handled the situation. There have been times where, even as her “healed” self, she would proudly tell me things that she did that were outside of the moral standards that I have for myself, but I would just listen to her, with a bit of discomfort but withhold judgement.
This year, while hanging out with her a few times I noticed how critical she was of everything in the environments we were in and it made me uncomfortable because I caught myself trying to justify what people may be doing/going through or just be silent, which was very draining to me. There were also things that she was criticizing people for that I sometimes do while struggling with my mental health. I distanced myself from her for a few weeks and focused on my own therapy and spirituality. It seems like in the times when we spoke again, I would express positive changes that were going on in my life and she would respond with criticism/fault finding. For example, I told her that accepted a much higher paying job as a substitute teacher (we had both been struggling with job insecurity) and she began to go down a list of reasons why the job isn’t what I think it will be. It was mostly hypotheticals like what if the kids try to fight me and what if they get lost. She said she was being curious and exploring other sides of the job, trying to be helpful. I’m a grad student and I eventually want to teach, which i told her while i was talking about the job.
I had been working on my graduate thesis for the past year or so, and one time she called me to tell me about a conversation that she was having with someone she met at her job. She said that she was telling them about my thesis and in her own words, as she was explaining it she realized my thesis was a kinda “all over the place, but that’s because we’re getting it together.” My thesis has been a huge area of stress in my life and I made a lot of progress on it since i last spoke to her about it a few months before, so i thought that comment was a bit insensitive.
There are other times when she will respond with a been there, done that attitude. for example, I cut all my hair off (something she did about five years ago) and I told her that I feel really beautiful with short hair, (mind you she makes comments like this to me all the time) and she told me that it’s because I cut my hair and this is a common experience. Even though this may be true, I felt like this was an odd response because she knows that is something that I struggled with. I also told her that I enjoyed journaling again and that it helped me release anger and move on faster, and she said that I’m probably still subconsciously suppressing my feelings. There are a lot more examples of these types of reactions. It just makes me feel like she wants to maintain a sense of superiority over me.
About a month and a half ago when this came up naturally in a text message conversation, I told her that between these things and her expressing her disapproval of others that we encountered in public, I felt like I had to distance myself from her and that I apologized for my lack of communication around the issue. I felt bad for letting things build up as I struggle to set boundaries and hate confrontation. I know now that over text was probably a bad way to initiate this conversation. Before I told her these things, I gave her the opportunity to decide on whether or not she wanted to hear it and she said yes. I also tried to give her credit because she says she is working on these things and in some ways I have seen changes.
She said she needed time to process what I told her and after a week she came back saying that she never questioned why I felt the need to distance myself from her and if she did, she would have asked me. She said that she’s worked on the things that she’s said to me and that me expressing these things to her made her feel scrutinized and criticized( the exact words that I used to describe the way she makes me feel) and that I don’t take the time to understand who she is, which I disagreed with, because I brush a lot of things she says off telling myself that she’s neurodivergent. When it came to what she said about other people, she said that she is not responsible for my feelings and that I did not need to take those things personally because they have nothing to do with me. She ended by saying she doesn’t want to change who she is for me and that we can move forward just not telling each other certain things. I was left unsatisfied and feeling unheard, but ultimately agreed and told her that it may be time for our friendship to take a step back because either she will be uncomfortable or I will be. I wasn’t asking her to change who she was, I was more so just wanting her to be mindful. She agreed but then continued on as if everything were normal.
A few days later, she called me to update me on her life, and she made a comment that really rubbed me the wrong way. She said that she had been working on her “people pleasing behaviors” and now when people bring an issue to her “they can really just SHUT UP until she’s ready to deal with it.” (her words) I think she was trying to say that she doesn’t have to give people the space to air their grievances with her if she’s already going through a lot, but I felt like it was an odd thing to say to me, specifically, because it applies to the situation we just had. I felt like I couldn’t address her comment because I didn’t want her to accuse me of taking what she said personally like she earlier. She’s tried to talk to me and initiate hanging out a few times after that, but I really don’t want to talk or hang out with her. I also feel like I can’t tell her things about my life, good or bad, without fear of criticism of offhanded comments. I was already feeling weird about her after that conversation and wanted to see if I could try again in person, but that other comment that she made further communicated to me that she is an emotionally unsafe person for me, which makes me feel bad because of how much she expresses being an empath and a safe space for people.
I have been doing a lot of reflecting on our friendship and have seen ways that it’s been unhealthy on both of our behalves, and part of me wants to end it and another part of me also wants to see if we can talk through things. I’m just so torn on what to do. I know that nobody is perfect and that my friend is already working on these things, but I feel like she was quite dismissive and has already said she isn’t willing to change or do things differently, which to an extent I understand because of the ways in which she is neurodivergent. Am I really taking things personally or looking too deep into these comments?
