Hi lovelies. Almost 2 weeks ago I posted here mentioning how I was broken up with towards the end of my visit, and I got an amazingly supportive response which I am very grateful for. I did get quite a few messages asking about how the situation has developed, so I decided to write a little update for anyone who might care. So at the time, I mentioned I still had a few days until I could return to my home country, and nowhere else to stay but my partners' home - we were stuck together. In the days that followed, we didn't talk much and simply gave each other space. I noticed his mood was switching a lot, sometimes he seemed okay, others straight up deeply depressed, but still didn't comment on it. I wasn't exactly stable either, given the circumstances. Maybe its also worth mentioning my partner struggles with diagnosed mental health issues and so do I. Then we eventually sat down to talk. He told me the usual reasons people give - he doesn't feel good enough for me and like he cant give me what I need, he feels uncertain about his own life choices in the present and future, he feels we rushed into the relationship, he loves me but something feels like its changed, etc... you see the gist of it. The thing that hurt me was that he said he doesn't know if he has the mental energy to keep in contact as much. When it was my turn to speak, I gave him all the reasons why I believe we should stay together, and he got very emotional. I heard his reasons, he heard mine, and we didn't talk about it anymore because it was clearly causing us emotional distress. Then, on the day I left, I asked him one last time if his decision was made, and he told me he thought about it and still wants us to be together. I didn't really pressure him to explain himself, because at that moment I was just extremely happy and grateful that he chose to continue the relationship, plus I had to leave very soon after that. Since then, things have been peaceful. He still says he loves me everyday, but I do feel a distance, not being sure if I did anything to cause it. I say this because he used to be extremely zealous and reassuring, and now he is less so, but he did tell me about not having the energy to be as present online. I'm just wondering if I did something to cause that, but he insisted I didn't. We are together for now, but haven't made plans to meet again. That's the not so exciting update I guess, but I'm still wondering if I did the right thing by showing him why we should stay together, and accepting to stay with him after he ended things. If anyone has any advice to give or experiences to share that are similar, I'd love to hear. Thank you once again for everything, including reading my other post and this one. Hello, this post might be more helpful if I describe where I found it. If anybody remembers PlayStation Home it was this built in game for the PS3. Either at one point (as a limited time event or something removed) or as a feature that you could always access. You would be able to walk your character into a movie theater and things would be playing on the screen. The show wasn’t made for the game, but rather what was shown on the screen was a plugin running a real show or movie (similar thing found on some Gmod servers if anybody knows what I’m talking about) I was probably around 8-10 years old at the time, and that would put this happening around 2008-2011 so it’s really fuzzy. Let me also note that I do not watch anime but for whatever reason this memory sticks with me. But I feel like I walked my character into the one of the theaters and there was an anime playing. I watched it for a bit and I remember there being characters standing in front of a school talking. I also remember there being vampires and it was a bloody, violent anime. Maybe I saw two different ones and got them confused together? But if anybody has any idea as to what I saw that would be great. Or if there’s any question I can try my best to clarify. Thank you!

During my first pass, I started the exam feeling happy because the questions seemed easy to me initially. However, out of nowhere, my laptop shut down due to an electricity interruption that I wasn't aware of. During the 40 minutes before the laptop shut down, I had answered 9 questions and scored 47%.
The good news was that after the first pass, I asked The Linux Foundation for a refund, and their response was positive, even though the problem was mine. 😊 I still had 2 passes left, so just a day after getting the result, I scheduled the next exam for 4 days later. However, I scheduled it for 1 AM instead of 1 PM due to my school exams and a lot of projects. I didn't pay attention to the exam date, and when I woke up the morning I thought I was going to take the exam, I found out I had already missed it. 😞
Second pass
Now I had one take left for the third pass. It was a bit of a struggle, but all conditions to pass were good. I also asked one of the security guards to check on the electricity every 30 minutes. Unfortunately, the PSI (platform where I took the exam) was not responding quickly most of the time. I lost around 50 minutes in total waiting for the terminal to let me write commands. I reported the issue to the Linux Foundation, but I admitted that I had lost because I thought they had already given me one pass, and I relieved myself by thinking that I had learned a lot from this journey and should move on. 😔
Third pass
Thankfully, I got a positive response from The Linux Foundation that I could retake the exam. 😊 This time, on the fourth pass, I made sure everything was good, the exam was good, and the platform was responsive. The questions were super easy, except for the Ingress part. I found no other issues, and I scored 96% this time. 🎉
As a result, I'm so happy for this journey. 😊 I wrote this story to give hope to those who might be having similar issues like me. Along the way, there was a lot of stress that I handled, especially if you're studying or working. One thing you can take away from this is that if you had any issue, report it first to your proctor and make a ticket to T*he Linux Foundation *in the report issue section.

Hi Everyone! I was reviewing timing/licensure options, and didn't fully realize I could potentially use the BA in Elementary Education to get a job (non-license program), and then use my classroom to fulfill the licensure requirements while getting an MA. Has anyone done this? If yes, how did it work out for you? Any regrets? Any difficulty finding a job unlicensed? I'm in Massachusetts and have already started taking MTELS (I passed comprehension/writing and have the other two scheduled). I don’t have a ton of exp with Arduino, and most of it was a long while ago in college. But I have a project I want to work on and wanted to get some input on parts to look at.
Problem: The town I’m living in has a railway that runs through the middle of downtown. Most of downtown has bridges over the tracks, but once you get to the east side you have to wait at train crossings that the trains LOVE to park at for hours. Right now there is not a way to know if the tracks are blocked other than to go look. I want to fix that.
Idea: I want to build a small box that will use a CV camera to look at the train track and update a website saying if it’s blocked or not. If there is a train blocking it, I want it to send a message to a server saying it’s blocked. Then keep checking every X seconds until there is no train. Then probably check every few min to see if a train is there. I have talked to some of the local businesses there and they are ok with me borrowing some of their power and wifi to set up the box in exchange for some advertising. But there are also a few crossings further down that don’t really have any good businesses for that. So V2 will have Solar + Battery+ 5g or something fancy.
For V1: I have been looking at cameras and boards and such and am honestly at a bit of a loss. I don’t think I need a very good camera since I should be able to just read off the crossing lights. But there are a bunch out there and I don’t know what's a trap. But I have no idea what to look at for the base arduino board? I want something somewhat small so it’s not a huge thing to hang up, but don’t know if I need to pay a ton to get its size down that much. Also, how much heat will this generate? For a housing will I need ventilation or will it be fine without? Note: This is in the south, so 100+ degree days.
For V2: I assume a 4g radio would be a good bet? The data could probably just be a text message sized message. What about power? I would assume I could do a solar panel and a battery, but what all does that entail? Battery controller? Ability to just power the unit when the battery is full if the panel is producing enough power? This one would also be a bit further off once I have made a working box and tested it out.

Too often, we get low effort requests where the title of the post is just "Cdramas pls" and the body text is something vague like "I need more to watch" or "I just finished watching a CDrama and want more". That's too little information for us to go by, and unfortunately, this is a favourite tactic of spammers to increase their karma, so please don't do this. Posts like these will be removed.
Please ensure your body text contains some of the following:

I've been noticing my friend circle dwindling the last couple years and haven't had that many people to chat and socialize with here and there or send memes to so that's boring.

• DnD (Dungeons and Dragons, I've been a DM for about 10+ years now and DND has a very special place for me as it incorporates a ton of my interests rolled into one amazing and socially heavy hobby that always keeps my interest, I'm actually gonna be starting a new campaign soon enough as well.)
• Fitness (I ultimately gravitate towards more traditional bodybuilding but I do like to throw in some calisthenics and yoga/tai chi, I could totally give some suggestions to help you with your fitness goals if you'd like!)
• Reading (I recently had a career pivot into a Business to Business Sales Exec role so I've been reading a lot of good Sales and psych literature, but I love fantasy books like Lotr and light novels.)
• Shows and Movies (I love a good story and great writing, some of my faves for this are Star Trek: TNG and Community for shows but I also love a good animated comedy like Rick and Morty or Futurama, Simpsons etc. Honestly I've seen most everything though so if it had a good concept and decent enough follow through or a great story especially I probably liked it.)

Health conditions are the main things I consider when choosing a pet insurance provider. Because French Bulldogs are purebred, they have a smaller gene pool, and therefore, they're predisposed to many health conditions, including:

• Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Disease (BOAS)
• Hip Dysplasia
• Patella Luxation
• Hemivertebrae
• Eye Conditions (cherry eye, corneal ulcers, dry eye, entropion, progressive retinal atrophy, cataracts, ocular dermoids, retinal dysplasia)
• Allergies
• Ear Infections
• Skin Issues

Of these conditions, the bilateral conditions stick out the most to me. A bilateral condition is a condition or disease that affects both sides of the body. Examples include hip dysplasia and patella luxation. Some insurers list pre-existing bilateral conditions as exclusions in their policies. So, for example, if your Frenchie is diagnosed with hip dysplasia on the left side before your policy's waiting period is over, then it will be excluded on the right side. Bilateral conditions can be very costly, so having coverage for these can save you significant money. If your Frenchie has a pre-existing bilateral condition, then Trupanion is a worthy consideration because it has no bilateral exclusions. However, Trupanion's premiums are often higher than those of other insurers, so if your dog doesn't have a diagnosed bilateral condition, then be sure to consider all your insurance options.
Many insurers have specific waiting periods for hip dysplasia. However, states are gradually adopting a Model Law for pet insurance, which attempts to standardize each state's regulations. The Model Law has standard waiting periods that all insurers must follow. If you live in a state that has adopted the model law, then the waiting periods are as follows:

• Accidents - 0 days
• Illnesses - 14 days
• Cruciate Ligament Conditions - 30 days
• Routine Care - 0 days

States that have adopted this Model Law are California, Delaware, Louisiana, Maine, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Hampshire, and Washington. More states are being added, but this list is current as of April 2024. If you live in one of these states, then coverage for hip dysplasia falls under the illness waiting period, which is 14 days.
If you live outside of these states, then the waiting period varies based on the company. Below are the hip dysplasia waiting periods for some top pet insurance companies (note that the policy in your state may differ):

• 14 days - Pets Best, Lemonade, ASPCA Pet Health Insurance, Spot, Nationwide
• 30 days - Trupanion
• 6 months - Fetch, Embrace, Figo
• 12 months - Healthy Paws

The best way to ensure your pet insurance covers hip dysplasia and other bilateral conditions is to enroll your French Bulldog when they're a puppy and have no pre-existing conditions. When I compared pet insurance quotes for many sample Frenchie puppies, Fetch and Lemonade were among the least expensive when comparing the same deductible, reimbursement, and payout, so these are two companies worth considering if you have a puppy. Fetch and Lemonade also have optional wellness plans, which can help you budget for routine expenses like vaccinations, spay/neuter, dental cleanings, etc. Note that Lemonade requires you to purchase add-ons for coverage that is included in Fetch's accident/illness policy, so if you're comparing price, ensure you're comparing apples to apples with coverage.
If your French Bulldog has no pre-existing issues, Pets Best is worth considering because it offers many policy types to fit your coverage needs and budget. When I compared French Bulldog quotes, Pets Best premiums typically fell in the lower to middle range of the spectrum. The biggest customer complaint for Pets Best is that reimbursement sometimes takes around a month.
Overall, my best advice is to get quotes from at least three pet insurance companies to compare the prices. (Here's a pet insurance form that lets you input your information once and then get custom quotes.) Then, review the coverage/exclusions and consider your dog's current health status and any pre-existing conditions.

Beta 1: 10dp5dt (15dpo) : 253 (of note, this first beta was done in a different location then all of the rest) dr says strong number with great chance of success
Beta 2: 12dp5dt (17dpo) : 255 (dr says could just be difference between different labs so let’s check again using same lab)
Beta 3: 14dp5dt (19dpo) : 276 (dr now says doesn’t look good. I assume it’s over but they say just because we transferred 2 embryos and it’s possible only one stopped developing let’s try one more beta on Monday)
Beta 4: 17dp5dt (22dpo) : 604 (63hr doubling time). Dr says this is an ok doubling time but not ideal and due to the first 3 betas not really rising and the overall number now being on the low side for 22dpo still doesn’t look great. Still, told to stay on meds and check again in 2 days. Ultrasound to check placement scheduled in a few days (I’ll technically be 5+4).
I’ve pretty much come to terms that due to the first few betas this isn’t going to be viable but now going crazy wondering what the outcome will be: ectopic, PUL, anembryonic pregnancy, etc. just curious if anyone has experienced similar betas (basically stalled/very very slow rise and then start doubling and what your outcome was? I’m trying to mentally prepare myself.

Hi everyone! I am new to the CCC club, and I’ve realized working at my current job, upon completion of my CF (private practice), is not for me. It’s a lot of early intervention which I don’t love, and I find I feel so much more alive after sessions with elementary aged kiddos. Also we’re required to bill a minimum of 28 hours/ week, see 1 eval every week, and I have at least 4-6 progress notes each week (we get 2 weeks to write eval and PNs). And they’re constantly encouraging us to bill more/do more. It feels slimy to me.
I’ve applied to the school district in my area, and I’m feeling so good about it but a little nervous since I don’t have experience with IEPs & other things specific to schools. I have an interview with the principal this afternoon. Are there questions I should ask to advocate for myself or any red flags to watch out for during this interview?
Also if anyone has worked both PP & schools, please let me know your opinions comparing the 2. Thanks everyone :)

Hello all, at the time of me writing this Pink Friday 2 is 4 months, 30 days, 3,624 hours, 217,440 minutes and 13,046,400 seconds old. Tomorrow (May 8th for my slow babes 💖) is the 5 month anniversary for Pink Friday 2 and to decided to give it another binge listen. Before giving you my revamped thoughts, can I tell you what this album means to me?
When Pink Friday came out (the original) I was literally just a baby, 6 years old. Ican't remember exactly what it was like when it was released, but I know that in 2013 was when I heard it officially for the first time. My best friend (at the time) was a Nicki Minaj fan and I didn't even listen to music at the point so I was really lost on what was so captivating about her.
What made Nicki Minaj and Pink Friday so special? That's when I heard Super Bass for the first time and I fell in love almost instantly. I loved the sound of it, the pop tone, it made me wanna get active, it was just so beautiful to me. I've been listening to Nicki Minaj since, and though I know I missed some years after the release I hope you can just know how much it means to me just like anyone else.
Pink Friday was one of the very first albums I'd listened to through and through, and I bring this up because I want to say if you look at PF2 as a direct sequel, you won't get it. PF2 is like the battle hardened, matured, impacted sequel. It shows growth and mirrors perfection, not only as an artist, but as a person. That's what I call a body of work. you get Onika and Nicki Minaj, two separate consciousness in the same entity, and it's endearing.
So what are my thoughts on PF2 after relistening?
Is it possible to say that...I like it more than before? I learned to appreciate tracks like My Life, Just The Memories, and FTCU even more. When I first listened, I found these tracks on the burner to me. They weren't bad, no, but they just didn't reach that cream of the crop status to me. Now that I've heard everything again, I can say confidently that my top 5 changed drastically.
Beep Beep finds itself replaced by Bahm Bahm, My Life sneaks into that top 5 with it's incredible sample and meaningful lyrics of self-condifdence. Nicki Hendrix- oh my God this one grew on me so much it's actually crazy. It's hard to give this album a top 5 now, but honestly it'll go like:

1. Barbie Dangerous
2. Bahm Bahm
3. Pink Friday Girls
4. My Life
5. Last Time I Saw You or Cowgirl

My least favorite song is Needle (because I hate Drake, like I can't even say in words how much I hate him, I can't. I'm sorry, hate me.)
But anyways, this is my rant on Pink Friday 2. It's overall a solid piece of work, I like it more than Queen for sure. Is it better than PP & PF though? That would need more time to determine, but the future is looking very bright.

Hi Reddit, I really hope there's something I can do because I'm tired of getting messed around. Several years ago, my daughter approached me and asked if I would lend her (now ex) boyfriend's brother in law some money. I was given the soft sell, (run up to Christmas, needed to buy presents for the kids, wanted to consolidate the loan etc). I was promised (sadly not in writing) £400.00 per month, as he had army pension coming in on top of his wage. The first month, I got the money, no problem. Second month £350.00 arrived, I can live with that. Third month is when the problems started. I took it to County Court and was awarded a CCJ against him - I was ready to send the bailiffs in when the money started to trickle in @ £20.00 per week. Fast forward a year and I am having to message him every single week to find out where the money is (he's currently missed two weeks payments). He's almost boastful of the fact that he owns nothing, so it's pointless sending the bailiffs in (despite his father providing him with a BMW X5) I really want to go back a few years and give myself a good kicking, but both my daughter and her boyfriend thought he'd be ok for the money. I also think his girlfriend (now fiancée) is unaware of how badly he's been missing payments. I've been met with nothing but lies and false promises.
I also got him a job at the company I own with my ex-husband - he barely lasted a week and walked off into unemployment.
Is there anything I can do? Is there a case of fraud or obtaining money by deception? His partner has got involved in the past and I'm tempted to message her again, but I would like to do the right thing legally.

Hello, this post might be more helpful if I describe where I found it as apposed to trying to describe what it is. If anybody remembers PlayStation Home it was this built in game for the PS3. Either at one point (as a limited time event or something removed) or as a feature that you could always access. You would be able to walk your character into a movie theater and things would be playing on the screen. They weren’t made for the game, but rather what was shown on the screen was a plugin running a real show or movie. I was probably around 8-10 years old at the time, and that would put this happening around 2008-2011 so it’s really fuzzy. Let me also note that I do not watch anime but for whatever reason this memory sticks with me. But I feel like I walked my character into the one of the theaters and there was an anime playing. I watched it for a bit and I remember there being characters standing in front of a school talking. I also remember there being vampires and it was a bloody, violent anime. Maybe I saw two different ones and got them confused together? But if anybody has any idea as to what I saw that would be great. Or if there’s any question I can try my best to clarify. Thank you!
