I moved from NEPA to Northern Colorado last August, and I’m flying home next week. I’ve already compiled a list of things I just “have to do” when I’m back home. It made me curious what others might put on their list.
Top three: walk lake Scranton, double jamo ginger at the Bog, thrift stores

For a bit of context, Grimdark Future is a fairly long-standing, independently developed set of wargaming rules made as an alternative to 40k/30k.
It's main biggest advantage is that it's free and you can use any 40k or AoS/Fantasy army you have in it, as well as any custom models, Custodes (known as Custodian Brothers in the system) included. Also, Skaven and Lizardmen have a faction which I find wonderful.
I've played a couple of test games, and being honest, I really like it. I won't say it is strictly better or worse than 40k as a system, as it really feels too different to what 40k is, with advantages and drawbacks.
There's no codex books, just a set of faction rules that are updated quarterly with points adjustments. The core rules are set to be updated annually. The rules are really quite simplified, model units all have just two basic stats: Quality and Defense, as well as weapon profiles and abilities.
When it comes to Custodians, our models get the "Toughness" ability, making them multi-wound models. Some like our bikes have "Fast" and "Fly", making them able to move through terrain or increase their base movement from 6" to 8", etc (everything moves 6" by default in this game system, no Movement stat exists for units).
But the best bit IMO is: wargear freedom. Like in Horus Heresy, we get a full-on arsenal of weapons to choose from, we can put shields on nearly anything, we can make any non-terminator model into "Wardens" that give them a feel no pain effect. Want to give a Melta weapon mount to your Allarus' spear? You can do that. Saggitarum with shields? Go ahead. Essentially: list building is a fun process.
All of our models except the Orion Dropship and Ares Gunship are included in some form, so whether you have GW or FW Custodes models, you can play this system no problem. Same goes of Sisters of Silence, they can be run as a part of the army as well (they have access to magic, rather than shutting that down as one of their things).
In terms of the army overall, we are properly elite of the elite, one of our single models can easily take up 30-40% of your list at lower points games, same with full units. In return, we are noticeably beefy and exceptionally deadly. I'd say thematically, appropriately so.
The main drawback is that, well, not very many people play Grimdark Future AFAIK compared to 40k, hence this post asking: who else plays?
Honestly, given the state of Custodes in 40k and 40k overall becoming very frustrating with how swingy the state of factions can be, I am probably going to move to Grimdark Future as my system of choice going forward.

Hey everyone. Haven’t worked out in 5 years. When I did workout I did starting strength and other types of barbell programs. Not a big machine guy. I’m 45 male and not looking to get ripped. Jist drop weight and feel good. Maybe an enhanced dad bod would be nice. I have a space I made into a home gym. I could use help with a program if anyone is willing. I want to focus on body weight but add dumbbells and TRX too.
Here’s all that I have: Wall mounted pull up bar Wall mounted dip/leg raise station Iron master bench with sit up and hyper core attachments 5-50lb adjustable dumbbells
Supersets of pull up and dips were my favorite exercises. I can make a pretty nice list of all the body weight and dumbbell exercises I can do but I’m struggling to put it all into a program. I’m open to anything.
Thanks if anyone can help with some advice.

And what would you change slightly? I came up with these 2 lists, but I won't have the time to test them. Nor do I have much experience playing Incursion games... so I would greatly appreciate some pointers. Building for 1K is kind of awkward.

This is for a steampunk-inspired fantasy world where people can manipulate a magical metal called quicksteel at will.
Introduction
While “No Man’s Land” is considered a desert frontier by most, it has been the home of a native population for centuries: The neksut nomads. The neksut travel from oasis to oasis, riding horses and herding sheep and other animals. Though some Neksut have fearsome reputations as warriors, the neksut way of life is under threat from foreign settlers, most of whom see the as unsophisticated.
Recreation
Though outsiders will confidently claim the neksut have no arts to speak of (or even no culture at all), in truth the desert riders have rich musical and storytelling traditions. The neksut are great lovers of song, specializing in throaty chants. Singing is often heard while the tribe is on horseback or around the camp at night, and is typically collaborative, with a lead singer being echoed by several others. The most famous songs are epic historical and mythical tales, such as The Stone Men, Ballad of the Besieger, and Death of Pulcros. Musical instruments include string and woodwind devices, carved from wood and richly decorated.
However perhaps the greatest neksut art is quicksmithing itself. Manipulating quicksteel is vital to the nomads’ way of life, allowing them to effortlessly convert carts into temporary dwellings and back again. But with excess metal, neksut quicksmiths (called shapers in their language) often create temporary sculptures that will be deconstructed when the tribe moves on. Such sculptures are very abstract, often embodying the mood or state of the tribe at the time of construction. To the neksut, the impermanence of this art represents the transient nature of their way of life and of life itself.
Food
The neksut diet is heavily dictated by their nomadic lifestyle, and is fittingly dominated by the products of domesticated animals, principally horses and sheep. Milk is the most important element, and is drank as well as made into cheese, yogurt, or a dry powder. These dairy products are paired with meat from either domestic sheep or from hunted jackalopes or roastritches. Contrary to popular belief, the neksut do not eat their horses, save in rare cases when an animal dies or is too old to keep up with the tribe. Such animals are far too valuable as mounts and sources of milk to be consumed, and in fact an idiom meaning “eating one’s horse” is a neksut expression for one who has not thought things through.
Vegetables and spices (save for salt) are relatively scarce in much of the central desert and thus are scarce in the neksut diet as well. However the nomads make great use of what ingredients they have in a wide variety of dairy and meat meals. Seasoned jackalope jerky with cheese, shredded mutton over yogurt, and roastritch stew are typical. These meals are supplemented with redleaf, roastritch eggs, and whatever foreign ingredients can be traded for. While their cuisine is typically somewhat plain on account of their transient nature, the neksut can put on impressive feasts for special occasions, such as weddings or celebrations. In these cases the traditional meal is the so-called “yogurt table,” in which each participant is given a bowl of yogurt to pair with dozens of small dishes which are passed amongst the tribe.
Gender and Marriage
The neksut are relatively egalitarian in terms of gender. Two reasons for this may be due to their heavy reliance on horses and quicksmithing for their way of life; Mares are actually far superior mounts to stallions (due to their smaller size and milk), and the necessity for quicksmithing to set up camps and carts means that female quicksmiths cannot be disregarded, as all hands are needed. Thus neksut women can be warriors, chieftains, and shamans, with Salaris the Sandstorm and Mist-Eyes being prominent examples. However outside of these important roles, their still is a gendered division of labor in most tribes. Neksut often marry outside the tribe, with young men and women being sent to other tribes as dictated by shamans.
Government
Neksut governance is divided between chieftains and shamans. Chieftains lead tribes from one oasis to another, ultimately ending their journey at a religious site. Shamans oversee religious sites and help select the next route taken by the passing tribes, coordinating movements between different tribes so that resources are given time to replenish. The balance of power between these two roles has varied over time, though currently shamans seemingly hold the dominant role. Shamans serve an important logistical purpose in organizing the travels of tribes and arranging marriages, but they also act as culture repositories, with the shared language, history, and customs of the neksut likely owing to the shamans’ influence. Thus the Neksut are considered one culture and not a dozen.
Religion
Though their mythology purports to explain the origins of humanity, the first mentions of the neksut in the historical record dates to the aftermath of the Great Dying. Some scholars have suggested that the neksut might share common ancestry with some of the people of Tolmika, noting common elements between neksut religion and the Faith of the Heeders.
Neksut religion is centered around the earth and the sky. According to their mythology, the desert was originally a paradise that was the birthplace of the first humans, the Stone Men, who were the children of the earth and the sky. These children crafted a vast civilization from the abundant resources, living like gods for centuries. But over time they forgot their place, abusing the land and ignoring the sky. Eventually, the parents punished their offspring; The earth sent forth earthquakes and eruptions, while the sky whipped up duststorms and withheld the rain. The paradise transformed into the great desert, and most of the children died or fled, leaving their civilization to crumble. But one child, “Neksut”, remained and resolved to repent by living off the land even in these harsh conditions, slaying his fellow stone men. The neksut trace their origins to this figure. They see their own lifestyle as a continuation of that repentance, and view other civilizations as a recreation of their ancestor’s mistakes.

When I first got into TCB, I created a PDF of the FBI files that document the evidence in the Keyes case, including Keyes encounters. This is NOT new information. I tried to do the PDF collation of evidence and encounters because I went down a rabbit hole and wanted a document that I could use to confirm dates without scrolling through the repetitive information in the PDFs on the FBI's website. I never quite finished doing this, but I started. I think I got through PDFs 3-5 or 6 on the FBI's website.

Page 172 - Interview with former girlfriend of Keyes who discusses Keyes tying her up with scarves during sex. This was consensual, not his forcing it on the woman.
Page 218 - Confirmation (?) that Bill Currier's glasses were found outside the Essex farmhouse.
Page 227 - Army buddy interview. This is not Matthew. He mentions Keyes's "Amish" girlfriend.
Page 271 - Contains a list of Keyes's travel locations by "territory," which I assume refers to FBI office regions, but I don't know. It looks like Keyes was somehow in the OK City area more than I knew. Maybe that means he was flying there to visit (??), or Kim while she was traveling, or whatever. No idea.
Page 294-295 - This page contains the Matthew interview in which (as we all know) Matthew outlines Keyes stated robbery plans, Keyes's comments that he had committed burglaries before entering the army and that he wanted to rob banks along a stretch of rural highway + do some kind of "mass kidnapping for ransom" scheme. Matthew states that he is not surprised Keyes committed the crimes, only that he got caught. Matthew also states he did not think Keyes was gay.
Page 298 - Mentions a woman named Leah Roberts (I can't recall her date of disappearance). I also can't remember whether she has been ruled out as a Keyes victim.

Hello, I’m a returning player that started since Blackrock Mountains and stopped somewhere ~2016 and came back sometime last year where I picked up the odyn loaner deck at the time mostly for nostalgia for control deck at and played for atleast a week before stopping again. Now Im planning on sticking around for much longer this time and luckily I get to have another loaner deck that I can unlock later in the day (been playing for a week already) and I have been playing the DK loaner deck to climb. Normally the DK deck would be the best due to how close it is to the ideal deck list for it but I already own Helya and the 20-cost legendary and have enough dust to craft the primus and the epics from the loaner so I dont think its the best calue for me dust wise. The warrior is also out of the question since they didnt change much from the decklist last time I played. So right now I’m torn between Shaman and Rogue on what to pick for my loaner deck. I dont have any of the legendaries and epics from either decks so they should net me more dust technically and they also have some cards that can be used for other decks/archetypes so thats nice. But I need help deciding on what loaner deck to pick.
TLDR what loaner deck to pick when I already have Odyn deck from last year and Helya+20-cost DK legendary already?

1) Janeway
Kathryn Janeway Is Starfleet's Most Impressive and Important Captain
In the first episode of Star Trek: Voyager, Captain Kathryn Janeway stranded her ship and crew 75,000 light-years from home to save the lives of an alien race who only lived nine years. Once caught in this hopeless situation, she integrated Maquis rebels into her crew and maintained Starfleet discipline when any other captain would've faced mutiny. She remained steadfastly committed to Starfleet ideals on her mission to get the crew home, despite the personal guilt and depression she felt because of her decision. With no Starfleet superiors to turn to for guidance or help, Janeway was the most accomplished captain in the universe.
Janeway was the first captain to make an alliance with the Borg, even saving a number of drones when that wasn't thought possible. Later, after violating the Temporal Prime Directive, she was able to get her crew back home and dealt a near-fatal blow to the Borg Collective in the process. Later, in Star Trek: Prodigy she faced her fear and traveled back to the Delta Quadrant to find and rescue Chakotay, her former first officer. While remaining a tough, demanding captain, Janeway became a mother figure to the crew of the USS Voyager and the USS Protostar. Starfleet is full of impossibly awesome heroes, but even among them Janeway stands alone.

2) Kirk
James T. Kirk Is the Very Model of a Modern Starfleet Captain
In Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, Leonard McCoy perfectly summed up what made James T. Kirk a quintessential Starfleet captain. "You did what you always do," he said to him after the destruction of their beloved USS Enterprise, "turn death into a fighting chance to live." Of all the captains on this list, Kirk was the best at balancing his role as quasi-military leader, explorer and friend to his crew. He inspired loyalty in his friends and enmity from his foes.
Where other captains turned to protocol or reason, Kirk was driven by his gut and his emotions. This was often an asset, but sometimes a detriment. Still, even when his emotions dominated his actions, like with the Klingons in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, he eventually did the right thing. He was deeply committed to Starfleet while remaining something of an outsider. He was a bit of a cowboy, from his eagerness for a fight to his penchant for romance. In Generations, Kirk was in "heaven" but he chose to leave that eternal paradise to help a fellow captain of the USS Enterprise.
3) Sisko
Benjamin Sisko Was a Captain, a Father and a Prophet
Benjamin Sisko should've been a captain from the second he appeared on the screen. He carried an authority and grit that no previous Starfleet commander had. He also had the unenviable responsibility of being the "lead" captain of a series when Starfleet was at war. Captain Sisko was a driven leader who made compromises when needed, specifically in the episode "In the Pale Moonlight." Yet, he was still a paragon of Starfleet, serving as an inspiration to many, not the least of whom was Nog, the first Ferengi in Starfleet.
Where Sisko truly excelled was as a father and a reluctant religious leader for the people of Bajor, not a Federation planet. In fact, because of his commitment to them through the prophets, he actively prevented Bajor from joining the Federation. This ultimately saved them when the Dominion War broke out. He continued to serve after his personal tragedy at Wolf 359, but his central priority was to his family, specifically his son Jake. Captain Sisko isn't just the best father in Star Trek, but perhaps one of the best 1990s TV fathers ever.
4) Picard
Jean-Luc Picard Is a Diplomatic Force Who Upholds Starfleet Morality
Captain Jean-Luc Picard was the second Star Trek commanding officer fans got to spend time with, and he was very different from his predecessor. Unlike Kirk, Picard mastered the art of delegation and leveraging the talents of his crew to address specific problems. He kept himself at a distance, for reasons which weren't fully explained until Star Trek: Picard Season 2. Still, he was the captain who didn't just continue the Starfleet mission, but also carried Star Trek beyond the original crew that defined it. Picard also had his flaws.
Captain Picard resigned from Starfleet for moral reasons, which took courage. However, there is an argument to be made that in leaving the organization behind, he removed himself from the only position where he could solve its problems. Even though his brief assimilation by the Borg wasn't his fault, he probably should not have remained in command after that. As both First Contact and Picard proved, he held onto unresolved trauma because of it. Yet, no matter what Jean-Luc Picard does, he can't help but be a true hero.
5) Burnham
From Mutineer to the Center Seat, Captain Michael Burnham Flies High
While it surprised fans to learn Michael Burnham was the secret sister of Star Trek's most famous Vulcan, her Season 1 mutiny was very like Spock. The first three seasons of Discovery followed Burnham on her path to redemption. In the 32nd Century, Burnham finally took her rightful place in command. Of course, she's as bad as Captain Kirk when it comes to violating the Starfleet rule about ship captains going on away missions.

Captain Jonathan Archer Was the Starfleet Prototype
He was almost impossibly stubborn, leading him to make almost as many mistakes as he did victories. During the Season 3 war arc on Enterprise, Captain Archer made ethical compromises such as attacking innocent vessels for parts or torturing a prisoner for information.
For all those flaws, Captain Archer showed the galaxy the best of humanity more often than he didn't. His sense of fair play endeared humanity to other species in the galaxy, leading directly to the creation of the Federation. There was no blueprint for him to follow, and he also had to deal with time-travelers trying to alter history for the worse. His willingness to challenge authority and confront political taboos proved that humanity made the galaxy a better, more compassionate place."

Captain Carol Freeman Is the Best Captain on Lower Decks
The crew on Star Trek: Lower Decks are, first and foremost, truly cartoonish characters in what is ostensibly a workplace comedy. They are able to be more reckless, less efficient and just plain sillier than most figures in this universe. With all that in mind, Captain Carol Freeman of the USS Cerritos isn't all that bad at her job. She is a careerist, which isn't often an admirable quality in Star Trek. In other series, her mistakes or the things she allows the crew to get away with, would be almost unforgivable.
Thankfully, like the rest of the Star Trek misfits on Lower Decks, in context, Captain Freeman has the heart of a true Starfleet hero. Despite the bumbling Admiral she was paired with, Captain Freeman helped bring a former Federation enemy, the Ferengi, into the fold. When she was framed at the end of Season 2 and arrested, her faith in Starfleet never wavered. Lastly, no matter how badly her crew screws up, Captain Freeman never loses faith in their ability or willingness to do the right thing. While this might not earn her a Starfleet promotion, it does earn the kind of undying loyalty from the crew all good Star Trek captains enjoy.

11) Lorca
The first captain of the USS Discovery, Gabriel Lorca would rank even lower if he could. Arguably, the revelation Captain Lorca hailed from the Mirror Universe was a big twist in Discovery Season 1, that may have hurt the show. As many fans and crewmembers alike noted that first season, under his command, the vibe was off. Still, as much as Lorca did not represent the best Starfleet had to offer, he has his merits.
His creepy affection for Michael Burnham led to her reinstatement, and she was able to stop the Federation-Klingon War she was blamed for starting. In the beginning of the series, the officers serving on the USS Discovery were not a cohesive crew. He forced them to work together, uniting the disparate group with a common purpose. Lorca's utter disregard for Starfleet ideals inadvertently guided the crew into an even stronger commitment to them.

Let‘s face it, there are huge possibilities that the game we are used to will never be the same again. This thought comes from the fact that MT/Epic, regardless of our complaints and wishes, will not stop working on the mobile version (potentially destroying the complete game). In the current stage of "fixing" the game, I think that wishes like "Unvault all maps" and "delete Creative from existence" are not well received. This led me to think, what is it that would satisfy both sides of the community, especially the one that wants to play their favorite maps made by developers. Although I would really like each of these two communities to get their part in the game, somehow it seems to me that this will not be the case, exclusively because of the mobile version. Therefore, I am listing 3 important points, which I think will make the game interesting and acceptable for the majority of the community again, and will not destroy any of them.

1. Unity and Creative can only coexist together if:

a) Creative maps are loved by the community and Race Creative maps are the majority compared to Survival
b) Roundpool will be refreshed every two weeks (in the worst case 3 and in the best case 1 week). This would give Unity lovers to often play the maps that actually got them started playing FG, and maybe for the first time made a game really FeEls fResH aNd neW
c) The number of Creative and Unity maps is equal in Roundpool (50-50)

1. Returning the jump mechanics to their original state. I don't think there is much to say about what this move would really mean. In my opinion, this is a MUST, so that creatives don't get used to this mechanic and Unity could see the light of day again.

1. Fix all bugs and glitches. This is of course crucial to even start the game at all.

If anyone has any other suggestions, they are welcome. I would only ask for ideas that would really unite these two divided communities and would not harm either of them. Please don't stop being vocal and don't give up on your wishes, even if they seem crazy to most people and even to you. Luv ya all! <3
