We have been neighbors for 2 1/2 years and have been together at neighborhood functions a few times. We met up at pub with a few other boaters and we’ve invited them to our house twice. It was during a college championship night in our basement rec room that I realized he was getting stranger and stranger. Not obnoxious, just weird.
Later, he offered to fix the power lines from my house to dock for the cost of materials only, free labor. That was a big job! But he said he had been an engineer who knew electric work and a lot more very well. He started hand digging the trench then quit for several days then rented a trencher. It got stuck and wouldn’t start. He tried to solve the problem with electrical and mechanical tools. The next day, he put the machine back together and called the rental yard. They sent a technician that immediately started the machine diagnosed operator error. That upset him and he was cranky so I stayed away. The job was finally completed after many months. We never knew when he was coming to work the job. There were weeks when we wouldn’t hear from him. But, free labor…
Finally the job is done! We gather at the controls, throw the breaker and it shorts. So we start at the beginning and he had crossed 120v AC into a 24v DC circuit frying the irrigation controls. His fix was to disconnect two wires but I knew both now free ends had been connected somewhere before he started repairs. After I traced every wire using a borrowed tester, I asked my neighbor to see if he agreed with the changes to his work.
He was angry when he arrived and started explaining the ‘science of electricity’. I finally erupted that we couldn’t work together if he wasn’t going to let me ask if he agreed with the change I made. He called me a name, I replied in kind and we each told the other to lose our numbers.
I see him most days and we just ignore each other. His mother lived in his house and died last week. I never met her. Two neighbors asked for food donations and we explained that we thought it might be inappropriate and unwelcome. There are several cars at the house again so another activity is underway. Should I: Continue to ignore him, Put a card in his mailbox or Knox on the door to offer condolences?
I live in a tight-knit gated community that relies on many clubs, sports and get together. It’s not like I will have to sit next to him but I’m worried whether the neighbors’ gossip has given me a reputation.

Virgin Mobile Colombia:
I purchased a 30 day plan in Falabella (sort of like the Target/Macy’s of Colombia w/an electronics section). The process was extremely quick and had zero hiccups. You’ll just need your Passport. They accept credit card.
I paid 20,000 COP ($5.15) for 40 gb of data, unlimited WhatsApp/Facebook. Free Tinder Gold for a month.
What I didn’t know was the speed is LTE only. So you’ll get a range of 20-40 Mbps.
Overall, I don’t think it’s a bad deal if someone just needs it for calls and basic internet.
Claro Prepago (Prepaid)
When you buy a prepaid plan with them, there’s two types with unlimited social media and without.
I found that either plan you buy, they tend to match that Gb amount as a gift (ie: buy 12 gb, get 12 gb additional for free, 24 total)
With that said, I buy the plan for 31,500 ($8) and it gets me 30gb with 30 gb free, 60 gb total. You can reload at Gana, Éxito, and Claro location, but beware some Claro locations have a “Cash only” policy.
Claro has 5G and has worked for me in Barranquilla, Bogota, Medellin, and Pasto with zero issue.

I had my BPI Blue for years now to the point that the card will expire this year. I only applied for this as a beginner card, didn't really think much about the rewards and benefits. Now that I'm spending more on groceries, gas and bills, I've realized that maybe I can upgrade the card to a cashback one.
Should I go on and request for a card change (like the Amore one) and which one can you recommend, or stay with Rewards for now (if there are better benefits that I haven't seen yet, like convert the rewards to free membership fee)?

We're a two-man team trying to find places to share our Kickstarter campaign for our rock-scissors-paper game! We've been working on this game for over a year, playtesting, designing the mascots and cards, and commissioning guest artists to give it a slick TCG aesthetic. While TCG is part of the soup, our game is self-contained in a single deck of 60 cards, and does NOT use booster packs.
Some key points:

• Development time is done, we believe we're ready to print and ship by December 2024. After the campaign ends, we'll finish up some touches on the boxart and do one more pass on the instruction booklet, then we'll place the orders based on the amount from the campaign
• This project is entirely self-produced, and we believe we've taken it as far as we can without outside investors.

I got charged to apply for a TFN, only later did I realize that it was not the official website.

One of the area where, IMO, the tv show has done the biggest disservice compared to both the book and Japan History, is the way Blackthorn was systematically downplayed. Because of that, these forums are full of tv show fans rightfully puzzled at some of the tv show internal logic. Why would Toranaga ally himself with just another Gaigin? Why did the real life counterpart to Blackthorn, Wiliam Adams, became a trusted advisor for Tokugawa Ieyasu (Toranaga's counterpart in History) if he was just another sailor?
To rectify this perception, I'd like to share with you these small excerpt from the book, explaining to the reader the importance and immense knowledge of Pilots in Europan 1600s :

He knew they were all afraid of him, even the Captain-General, and that most hated him. But that was normal, for it was the pilot who commanded at sea; it was he who set the course and ran the ship, he who brought them from port to port.
Any voyage today was dangerous because the few navigational charts that existed were so vague as to be useless. But a rutter was only as good as the pilot who wrote it, the scribe who hand-copied it, the very rare printer who printed it, or the scholar who translated it. At sea the pilot was leader, sole guide, and final arbiter of the ship and her crew. Alone he commanded from the quarterdeck.

The book also explains that Pilots were raised as apprentice by another pilot master, working for them for at least 12 years to learn the trade:

"You’re apprenticed for twelve years. You’ve ten more to go and then you’re free. But until that time, until 1588, you’ll learn how to build ships and how to command them—you’ll obey Alban Caradoc, Master Shipwright and Pilot and Member of Trinity House, or you’ll never have a license. And if you don’t have a license, you’ll never pilot any ship in English waters, you’ll never command the quarterdeck of any English ship in any waters because that was good King Harry’s law, God rest his soul."

So no, despite the tv show attempt at depicting Blackthorn as just another sailor, he was actually an incredibly gifted pilot, speaking 5 languages (dutch,portuguese, Spanish and Latin in addition to English), with a huge knowledge of history, politics, navigation, religion, war, trade, shipbuilding and the leader of the expedition of 5 ships with a total of 460 men that sailed for Magellan's pass and of which one ship and a mere 16 men arrived to shipwreck in Japan.

I’ve wanted a Cricut for years, and my best friend's bachelorette trip to Montreal was the perfect excuse to finally make the plunge (plus a helpful redditor on this page who alerted me to a super sale on Explore 2 machines that Target had last month!). Since it's in Montreal, I tried to add French touches, with the overall theme being ribbons, pearls, bubbles, etc.
Used Cricut Explore 2 to make the projects in these pictures: Hangover recovery kit, wine charms on tags cut/drawn using Cricut, HTV for custom koozies, letter sign (will punch holes to hang from string), and shadow text monograms on permanent vinyl for personalized pool bags.

This FYI will focus on giving you a strong start in my faction, Apart from Live events and Towers, your two main issues at the start will be Proving Grounds (PG) and Faction Wars (FW).
I will discuss faction wars later in the article as some of the strongest cards in the game, even at present, are located there. But to have an easier time in faction wars you will need good card to begin with. So hers how to get a head start on some great Sapphire and Ruby Cards.
In regards to your starter pack choose whatever you prefer, you will receive emerald evo cards which, by meeting specific requirements will evolve gem levels eventually reaching Ruby 80 overall. I tend to go for Strikers as they are easier to meet the requirements and MFP match actions for PG, Lives and Towers.
MyRise and Showcase:
Completion of these modes unlock various my faction cards and some of them are very strong.
Cheesing Myrise and Showcase: If you just want to blast through the modes, set it to easy and go to balancing, then turn everything in your favour, reversals, kick outs, health and regarding submission, change it so the AI is punished for wrong button presses, you not so and correct button presses are strong for you and weak for AI, you will be submitting people in seconds unless the match has objectives or stipulations to meet first. Is it scummy? Yes. Does it matter? No.
I would recommend showcase first, this can be laborious as you cant just win it but have to complete all objectives, again the difficultly adjustment will help but the part that rewards you is the end. It involves you taking part as the first entrant in a 30 man battle royale, to meet all objectives to unlock the showcase cards you need to survive and also eliminate 10 individuals during the run. Choose your wrestler wisely! Someone whos strong can reverse but can survive!
For completing Showcase Royale Rumble with 10 eliminations and winning you receive the following my faction cards which in my opinion are the best starting cards in the game prior to the FW bosses:

There is one point during Liv Morgan quest where u choose either Cena or Batisita which unlocks there card, do the story again to unlock the other card, Cena is better than Batista as Batista has no badges. Unleashed provides far more cards and far better cards:

Undertaker has terrible badges for his class but his super finisher is a submission and coupled with his space invader badge he can make submitting foes easy. I am not the biggest fan of Cody card but he's okay,
Your 4th card for the line up should be your showcase Shaun Michaels, TRUST ME!
Honorable Mentions:
The FW Sapphire Roman, Bobby, 78 Cena and Randy can be good.
Females:

1. TRISH STRATUS WITHOUT A DOUBT. OP, still one of the best female cards.
2. Bailey - Trust me her badges, she stuns easy and her stuns drain enemy special and finisher.
3. Either Charlotte 84 or the Becky 84 but go for charlotte, quicker limb attacks, on a stun bar can do three leg attacks, Becky does one! Furthermore, she has purple space invader meaning her subs are stronger.

QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise 22.0/23.0 Management Guide

Overview

I have been maintaining QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise for several years now and have put together this guide on how to deploy the base app and the webpatches to users using Intune. I hope someone else finds this information useful.

• This works for versions **22.0** & **23.0**.
  
• You may reference this guide in an attempt to manage versions prior to 22.0.
  

Before you build your installation and patching packages you will want to make sure you have some necessary tools ready and that you are familiar with how to use them.

Required Tools

PSAppDeployToolkit (PSADT)

You will be using PSADT to do the bulk of the deployment work. You will want to get familiar with this tool if you are not already.

• The PSAppDeployToolkit is a framework for deploying applications in a business or corporate environment.
  
• It offers a set of functions for common application deployment tasks and user interface elements for end-user interaction during a deployment.
  
• The toolkit aims to simplify the complex scripting challenges of deploying applications and to provide a consistent deployment experience.
  
• Download PSAppDeployToolkit at [https://github.com/PSAppDeployToolkit/PSAppDeployToolkit/releases/\](https://github.com/PSAppDeployToolkit/PSAppDeployToolkit/releases/).
  

Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT)

• The Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) is a free tool for automating Windows and Windows Server operating system deployment, leveraging the Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (ADK) for Windows 10.
  
• Version 8456 was released on January 25th 2019 and is the latest current version.

For managing QuickBooks with Intune, we are after a specific tool within this toolkit. We will be using the **ServiceUI.exe** tool.

Microsoft Win32 Content Prep Tool

You should already be familiar with this tool. If not, it is a simple tool to understand and use, so do not feel intimidated. This is what you will be using to package everything into a single **.intunewin** file that will be uploaded to Intune.

Building The Deployment Package

Download QuickBooks Installer

We need to download a current installer for our QuickBooks application. Visit the QuickBooks download center at [https://downloads.quickbooks.com/app/qbdt/products\](https://downloads.quickbooks.com/app/qbdt/products)
Select your version and download. This is also where you will download the QBwebpatch.exe patch installer that you need for installing updates.

Prepare PSADT

If you haven't already, download the current version of PSADT, extract, and stage the files to repackage for Intune.
Place the **QuickBooksEnterprise2X.exe** into the **Files** folder of the PSADT structure.

Modify Deploy-Application.ps1

You need to make some modificatons to the deploy script of PSADT. Enter the following commands under each corresponding section of the script.

Installation Tasks

Here you need to enter the following installation command for the **QuickBooksEnterprise23.exe** installer.

Post-Installation Tasks

Here we will enable the XPS document writer with the following command.

Uninstallation Tasks

Enter the following command to trigger the uninstall script.

Execute-Process -Path "$dirFiles\uninstall.cmd"

Post-Uninstallation Tasks

Enter the following command to disable the XPS document writer.

Disable-WindowsOptionalFeature -FeatureName "Printing-XPSServices-Features" -Online -NoRestart
```
You may make any other modifications you choose if you are comfortable working with the deploy script. Depending on your environment, there may be other tasks you need to perform to get the install to complete successfully.

Create Uninstall Script

You will need to navigate through the registry to get the uninstallation string that is used during the uninstall process for your version of QuickBooks.
Install QuickBooks on a computer temporarily if you do not have it installed somewhere already.
The uninstall string for QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise can be found at:
`HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall`
The registry entry for it will have a product ID for its name. Look through them until you find the one for QuickBooks.
Copy the **UninstallString** entry value and paste it onto a notepad editor to build the script.

Use the "/passive" parameter at the end of the uninstall string. This will present the user with a small progress bar during the uninstallation process, but requires no additional interaction.

Your complete uninstall command should look something like this below. Save it as a .cmd file to the **Files** fold of the PSADT structure.

Add ServiceUI.exe

This package will be running the the SYSTEM context. In order for the uninstall process to work properly the **ServiceUI.exe** tool needs to be added to the root of your PSADT structure.
This tool is part of **MDT** and can be downloaded from the link provided at the top of this guide.
After you download and install the MDT, you will find the **ServiceUI.exe** in `C:\Program Files\Microsoft Deployment Toolkit\Templates\Distribution\Tools\x64`
Copy and paste it into your PSADT pacakge where your **Deploy-Application.ps1** script is.

Wrap with Win32 Content Prep Tool

Now you are ready to wrap it all up into the .intunewin file format so it can be uploaded to Intune.
Select the **Deploy-Application.exe** as the setup file when packaging with the tool. Depending on your computers hardware, it can take a few minutes for it to complete and the app to be ready to upload.

Upload to Intune

Configure Application

Navigate to the Intune portal to create a new Windows application and upload the freshly packaged app.
Enter details to name the application and give it a description. Included with this guide is a description markdown file that you can use if you wish. I have also included an app logo .png image file.
When configuring the app make sure to set install behavior to **System**.
Use the following Install and uninstall commands.

Detection Method

The detection method can be done a number of ways. For ease and reliability I have only provided the basic detection of the .exe after installation/uninstallation.

That's it. You're all set to assign the app and test installing it on a computer.
Please note, depending on your bandwidth and network environment, it can take several minutes for the package to download and install.

Prepare Files

I came up with a simpe file creation command that places a "log" file on the computer after successfully running the update installer.
This can be used for future detections if you ever update the app with a newer QBwebpatch.exe. Simply set your detection to look for the log file and its last modified date.

Intuit offers the **QBwebpatch.exe** installer that installs all updates for that version that are availalbe at time of installation.
This .exe can be downloaded from the QuickBooks downloads page mentioned at the beginning of this guide.
You will package it the same way we did the parent app. Use the below commands for the **Deploy-Application.ps1** script and **Intune** install/uninstall tasks and commands.

Create another app for the update installer. Make sure to set it to System install.

You're ready to test. The update installer has a "silent" mode, but it is not truly silent. Running it with the `/silent` parameter will hide the first screen, but the user still needs to click on a prompt to install the update when it's ready.

I'd like to share that I passed the ITIL 4 Foundations exam today with a 32/40. I have no former experience, and I had absolutely no idea what service management prior to starting this certification. I took this through WGU, as obtaining the ITIL certification is a requirement for most, if not all, IT programs. Tips:
For the Quizlets, I recommend obtaining mastery on all terms and concepts if you want to be super safe. I didn't personally do this, but I think it could have helped. There are also some concepts that sound relatively similar. For example, "start where you are" (guiding principle) and "where are we now" (continual improvement) sound alike, but the concept of reusing existing resources whenever possible doesn't apply to "where are we now." Don't let stuff like this trip you up, especially when it's really easy to confuse one with the other, it happened me a few times during the practice exams.
For the practice exams, the lowest I scored was a 72% and the highest was a 92%. I'd say just consistently study the Quizlets, and once you feel comfortable enough, attempt the practice exam to see where you land and study any areas you need improvement on. Try shooting for an 80-85% on the exams. There are some concepts in the Jason Dion exams that are not covered in the Value Insights material. I personally did fine without studying those concepts, but it can't hurt to do it.
During the exam, review your answers before you submit. This method has been crucial to my success in multiple exams, especially in Project+. There have been questions where I either realized my answer was incorrect after a second thought, or I misunderstood what the question was asking.
Thoughts:
Honestly, this wasn't too bad. I only spent a week on this certification, and I probably could have finished it sooner since I procrastinated at times. The exam itself wasn't bad. Sure there were moments where I had to give some questions a second thought and I wasn't sure what a specific question was asking, but that's something you'll see in a lot of exams anyways.

I just had my 3rd show and sold all of my art print inventory in the first few hours (I think I got lucky). Looking for a simple brick logo/decal with “SULLIVAN” written on the face of the brick. Goal is to be able to use this logo on t shirts. The problem with our current brick logo is it’s hard to print on a T-shirt without making the “sullivan” part hard to read (I can share a photo of our current logo if it helps). I signed up this March for the chase freedom unlimited credit card through this page from creditcardsDOTchaseDOTcom (this is on the official chase website) that states:

This page is still up, quick google search you can find and verify it.
Day of signing up, I called chase and asked the representative if this offer would apply to me, and they told me yes.
I call last week after not seeing the points in my account (after 6 weeks had passed like it said in the offer details) and they say I don’t have the offer on my account. They say this wasn’t available in March.
A Quick Look at wayback machine (internet archive) proves this page was up multiple days in March (and I applied through the welcome offer page). This rep says they can’t help me and says I could submit a complaint.
Instead I ask to speak to a different representative, give the run down, and then ask “is this offer available right now” and they say yes. Then I ask “when did it start?” They say “we dont have access to that information.” Then I ask “then how do you know this wasn’t available when I signed up?” Then after 10 minutes they come back and yes “yes it was available on the day you signed up, we will escalate the situation and email you soon”
After a few days they leave a note on my account with a brief note saying “your account is not eligible for this offer” with no explanation.
Wtf.
I read the fine print (which is publicly available as of right now) and there’s no reason I shouldn’t be eligible. It’s my first card with chase, I spent 500$ within the first 3 days, etc.
Please let me know if I’m missing something. This is so frustrating. Thank you.
