2nd grade continents worksheet | | Show me your friends and I'll tell you who you are.

I have a group of friends na eventually palaging hindi na pumapasok sa kahit anong subjects namin. We have 8 members sa group of friends namin. 3 yung palaging hindi pumapasok sa amin partida pa naka dorm pa sila. 3 din kaming pumapasok consistently, yung 2 sa amin is malayo yung bahay and also babae kami lahat.
1st sem hindi sila ganon pero nung kalagitnaan na ng 1st sem napapansin ko ang tatamad na nila, mahilig na sila mag-clutch, nagtuturuan sila kung sino yung gagawa nito. Parang nagiging pabigat na sila sa grupo. 2nd sem na, ayun naglalabasan na ng true colors, partida hindi na kami block section kaya kami group of friends lang talaga naka-stick sa lahat ng courses. Ang dahilan nila bakit hindi pumapasok. Tinatamad, wala naman daw gagawin sa subject na yun at hindi naman nag check ng attendance yung prof. Malalaman ko pa sa gc namin na gising na si ganito habang nag video call sa jowa niya sa sa dorm sa time ng umabsent siya.
Ang ending yung 3 hindi pumapasok magtatanong palagi sa gc na ano daw yung mga topics na diniscuss, may quiz ba daw sa ganitong araw, ano daw mga fa na ipinagawa etc. Minsan kapag awang awa na ako sa kanila or nasa mood ako maging mabait dahil kaibigan ko naman sila sinasabi ko kung ano mga gagawin next meeting at yung FA na kailangan ipasa next meeting onsite. Pero diba responsibilidad mong pumasok para malaman yun? Hindi na kayo bata para i-remind sa ganitan attitude niyo. Palagi silang kumakapit sa amin pero nung nanghingi lang ako ng favor sa isa sa kanila, hindi man lang mabigay super simple lang nun ate.
Ang unfair lang kasi minsan sila pa yung mas mataas yung letter grade. Yes, alam ko naman na may individual grading pero ang unfair for me na consistenly present ta's ganoon lang scores tapos sila hihilata lang sa kama buong time na class na hindi nila pinasukan at magtatanong ano mga gagawin sa subjects na yun. One time din, before mag monday ina-nounce na may quiz sa thursday at 3 kami lang pumasok sa amin group of friends that day. Kaya ako todo kinig naman sa discussion, at talagang na-gets ko siya. Before kasi kapag nandiyan sila wala talaga ako na-gets sa lesson stats pero nung wala sila gurl grabe parang doon ko na-realized na hindi pala ganoon ka-hirap stats lalo na yung prof namin is ineexplain talaga detailed yung lesson. Kaya na-motivate ako mag-review, as in inintindi ko from the top lahat sa bahay. Eto na thursday quiz na, pumasok yung 2 pala-absent kasi alam nilang may quiz e, yung isa hindi na pumasok. Habang nag quiz kami, etong isa tinitignan niya yung sagot ko ako naman na todo takip kasi pinaghirapan ko yun tas ikaw parang ganon mo lang makukuha? Wala siyang nakuha sa akin kaya nangopya siya sa harapan namin. Grabe mas mataas pa lamang niya sa amin na nag review.
Sinusubukan ko hindi mahawa sa mga ugali nilang ganon pero alam kong hindi ko ma-control yung subsconciously behaviour ko kaya siguro ang solution is change na ako ng group of friends next sem. Kayo guys, what do you think is the best solution? dahil ayokong masanay na ganito yung ugali ko sa susunod na taon.

Hi all. Sorry, this may get a bit long. But I'll put the TL;DR here at the top - how do I choose between a preset curriculum such as Oak Meadow, or should I piecemeal one together myself?
I've been following this page for about a year now, while trying to decide if we want to HS or not. After A LOT of debate and consideration and input from my 7 year old son, we've decided this is the best option. For context, we live in a rural area, and his current school is Title I. Due to this, and the overall education of the populace, I don't know if the school is lowering its standards, or if this is just par for the course for our district. His reasons for wanting to home school are as follows:
-He doesn't feel like he's challenged enough at school. He is well above grade level in both reading and math, understands scientific concepts that are well beyond his current 2nd grade level, etc.
-He REALLY dislikes being on the computer all the time. I've spent a few days in his classroom, and overall I'd average that at least 20-30% of the time learning is on the computer. This mostly includes busy work on Reading Eggs and Prodigy, so that his teacher can work with special groups to catch up to grade level. He would like to have a program at home where he's working on real physical books. I realize that may not be possible to just buy, but a program that has the option for printables rather than interactive "videogame-like" online learning is his preference.
-There is no option for any real STEM learning at this school. As much as they would like to, they don't have the money or resources to create a STEM lab. I even tried to start up an FLL robotics team, which there was ample interest in from the kids, but the district shot it down. I even had 100% funding for it!
The long and short of it is that he's a very bright kid, and I'm worried that if I do a pre-made curriculum that he'll be bored in some areas, and then we'd...buy another program to augment? It seems like a waste of money. However, I feel like our district standards are so low, that perhaps he'll actually be on target with a pre-made program.
My requirements for a curriculum:
-STEM focused
-Non-religious / Secular
-Good, clear instructions for the student and parent-teacher.
-A program that is mainly off the computer.
So, if you've read this far, the question is this: Do any of you have suggestions for pre-made curriculum that fit this? Oak Meadow is what I've tentatively decided on, but reading reviews has me second guessing myself. I also wouldn't be adverse to piecemealing, such as Woke History, Singapore Math, etc. I haven't done all of the research on those individual subject offers, but I would love suggestions for programs that you all like.

Like its always the case whenever I have exams even if i start preparing 1-2 months before they actually even start.
For example:
I Do maths,physics,biology,chemistry. And in the 2nd semester of school (HS) i studied everything except for maths and failed it even though its my favourite subject. Why? Because i spent too much time studying the other ones thinking my passion for maths would carry me. And lol i got mostly B's in them.
Now im doing my finals and guess what i nailed maths and the others but im flunking physics haha.

I know im capable of acheiving A* in all of them and shutting up the narcassitic nerds in my grade but it's like my brain is setting me up for failure. It's like you're running towards a lion even though you know your a dead man.
(Im underdiagnosed for adhd, my parents refuse to take me for a diagnosis because they think that people with adhd are idiots and cant focus on nothing even things that interest them which is not true)

My school uses STAR testing in the beginning, middle and end of the year to assess reading and math. While looking at data from the start of the year until now, my students have almost all shown growth, which is fantastic. However, I started the year with about 13 on grade level(per the test) and now I have close to 2.
2nd grade math is hard, y'all! Adding and subtracting 3 digit numbers was a struggle, and I don't blame them for struggling with the test(if that was on it)

Hi all,
We are moving from a village to Eindhoven (Strijp location) and we were looking for VMBO for our son. He is just finishing first grade so he will need to transfer to the second gradel to the new school.
Mostly we would prefer school where expats are not bullied (since he was bullied most of the time) and little bit of a creative school. He is not exactly the study type let’s say but he likes to work with his hands and create things.
The problem is that looking at schools and the reviews is little bit scary since I cannot find a good school with good reviews?
He can speak fluently Dutch - that’s not an issue so it doesn’t have to be international school per say.
SintLucas is out of scope since they don’t have open places for 2nd grade - and even though we are moving and we need new school - they can’t help us.

Hi, I’m a grade 12 student with a question about residence. I know that the higher your average is, the more likely your are offered your top choice for residence. So I was just curious which set of marks are used for this. Do they use 2nd semester midterm average or final grade 12 average?

This is my first year as a head coach. It's a 1st and 2nd grade coach pitch team, and this is everyone's first year at this level. In your experience, is it worthwhile to ask someone to keep a scorebook during games?
Obviously we're in a low stakes environment, but it seems having some record to review could help me identify trends or growth that I might not notice while I'm busy pitching, managing lineups, getting kids to stay engaged, etc. On the other hand, I can see that it might seem a little silly to carefully track outcomes when every play is an adventure.
