I recently visited Dallas for an interview that didnt end up working out... REALLY liked Dallas. Drove down to Houston for my flight back home.... didnt really like Houston as much. Im conflicted. Its a big city, and it is what you make of it, but I've read quite a lot of negative reviews about Houston (i mean no offense), and I wasn't a huge fan of the vibe while I was there... sprawled out, concrete, not very attractive..... but on the other hand who knows if i'd get an opportunity like this again.
So here's the situation: The role is on site near Katy. I want to live inside the 610 loop as im socially and romantically active, and i understand that outside the 610 is suburbia. I understand the commute from there to Katy and I accept it as reality, unless anyone has any recommendations.
Personal details, Im a single 28 year old straight male, job comes with a healthy 6 figure + salary so i know i will be ok there. Want to meet friends, want to meet girls, want to build a network. Im also jewish, so would be nice to find me a nice jewish girl + make those connections.

- The student groups are demanding the campus they attend stops using their tuition money to fund Israel. That’s a straightforward, clear demand. In fact, it’s much more clear than occupy or mainstream BLM demands were. Destiny knows this. Rather than dropping this talking point he acts as though his quiver is low and he needs every arrow possible and has recently changed it to “They have no demands… or their demands are misguided.” So fucking silly. Divestment, as big Steve knows from studying more history than most people have casually read, is a political tool that has been used for decades with varying degrees of effect. As a capitalist I would think the idea of people ``voting with your dollar” would get him hard. Destiny has defended his support for the war against Hamas. I haven’t seen him defend his position that American universities should be using their endowments to assist Israel in their war. It wouldn’t surprise me if he has some really thought out reasons for this position but I haven’t heard it yet so until that moment I think his position is stupid at best.
- “The students don’t really care about the USA or their college funding this war. If the schools and or the government stopped the funding the kids would only be 99% pissed rather than 100%”. I think this is a stupid take. The kids I talk to think they are/we all are funding a genocide. I know Big D doesn’t think we’re funding genocide… nobody is correct all the time. They want their school and/or government to stop funding it. Many of them don’t agree what the next step should be but they do know they want their school to divest. Brown is the one example that I know of where the school said, “Ok, we’ll vote on divesting in the fall.” The students didn’t say, “We’re staying until you divest.” They said, “Sounds good.” and broke down their encampment. They know what they want and when the school said that they would vote on it months from now the students walked away.
- “The protesters don’t know anything about the area or the history” is something Mr. Bonerelli has said. He’s also said, “The history matters but at the same time it doesn’t matter.” By this I understood him to be saying, “Yes, X happened in 19XX or 18XX and that was bad and it shouldn’t have happened but what are we going to do about what’s happening on the ground right now?” When I see these clips of kids being asked questions they don’t know the answer to, the latter Destiny quote pops into my smooth brian. My second and third thoughts are, “I wonder how many clips did they get of kids answering questions correctly before they found this kid. I hope there were zero clips before and after this kid because protesters should know by now that talking to the media is something the PR people should do.
- “Anti-Zionism and Anti-Semitism”are functionally the same thing” this is such a silly claim. It’s as silly as the blue trench coat. The most EXTREME form of anti-zionism that I can think of, that I’ve never come across naturally (meaning not searching for it), in the anti-zionist circles, would be the end of Israel and killing of every zionist. Even if 90% of jews were Zionists, even after they realized they could denounce their Zionism and not be killed, that still wouldn’t be killing jews because they are jews. It would be killing zionists because they’re zionists. In fact, if someone were to hold that position they'd be forced to, in absolute numbers, kill more American Protestants than Isrealies. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if the largest population of zionists are American protestants. Obviously if the most extreme version of anti-zionism isn’t anti-semitism then the same is true for all versions. If I saw the 6mwe shirts being worn by some of the protestors on these campuses I would be concerned. What's more likely is some of these counter protestors at UCLA were wearing those shirts on Jan 6 in DC.
- While in debates sometimes people bring up the fact that the IDF is creating the next generation of Hamas by killing the families of all these kids. If Destiny is given time to reply he says that we talk about it one way but we don’t ever talk about how the rockets and 10/07/23 might radicalize young Isrealies. He’s correct that not many people talk about it but they should. I think it’s very important to point out that if you grow up hearing rockets flying over head, are told in school about all the violence Hamas and those that came before have committed against Israelis (but for propaganda reasons they’d probably say jews rather than israelis) and and that the Gazains have always wanted to kill jews (calling them jews not israelis) and then you’re trained in the IDF and sent into Gaza you might make statements via humorous skit or whatnot about enjoying killing Gazians or that not enough Gazians have been killed while in a bombed out apartment complex in Gaza. What I assume is happening a little bit more than TikTok posts being made is people shooting rather than not because they've been radicalized. Destiny is correct; we need to talk about the radicalization that if Gazians are experiencing then young Iraelis must be experiencing too.
- “Americans don’t care about foreign policy. They care about domestic policy. The college kids ‘care’ about foreign policy because they’re still suckling on the mommy and daddy teet. Domestic policy doesn’t impact them so they look to the most morally loaded thing they can, which currently is foreign policy.” is something I heard Destiny say in a tone of disgust. Destiny also recently said he might stop saying he’s progressive or far-left. IMO His perspective on the above mentioned topic is a perfect example of why he should stop thinking of himself in this way. It says so much to me that when people in a society have their basic needs met they think about the world broadly. They look for international injustice and they do what they can to try to minimize it. From Destiny’s comments it seems as though he prefers for Americans to be so wrapped up in their own survival that they aren’t thinking about international affairs.
What makes Steven valuable to online politics and philosophy is not that he’s a progressive but his desire to put in the work, show that work being done, to become educating about topics and then expose others for not being educated. 99.9% of factual matters Destiny knows and remembers about this conflict than many scholars. That’s impressive and very important to show people that if you can put in 7 hours a day, 6 days a week, not just read but study for those hours you can come close to having nearly scholarly knowledge on the topic. Obviously there's a difference between having the knowledge and bringing new knowledge to the academy’s attention, that realm is still best left to the scholars but it's incredibly empowering for us all to know that if you put in the work it is possible to know more than 99% of the population on a topic in a short amount of time.
It would do Destiny and the far-left good if he was more clear about the fact that he’s a classical liberal who’s influenced by The Founding Fathers, Adam Smith, Ricardo and the Marquis de Sade.

So around autumn last year my friend (M22) and I (M19) were at my house watching a movie. We got hungry and cooked up some ramen and brought it back to my room where we were watching the film. He ends up spilling his ramen on my keyboard (K95 plat xt) and I freak out because it was given to me as a gift (from another friend) and I hadn't even had it for one year. We amicably agree that he'd get me a replacement and continue on with the film. After a month he gets me a used replacement, mind you a normal k95 plat not the XT and I relunctly accept it.
When I took it home I noticed that a few (around 15 keys) had RGB defects because the previous owner most likely had them set to white or blue which uses up the blue in the RGB and wears down the RGB faster. My friend tries to return the board but gets rejected from eBay either because he waited too long to return it ( I had returned it to him a few days after I noticed the defect so not my problem) or because eBay didn't find that reason enough for a return. Anyway he ends up keeping the defective board for himself as an upgrade.
So skip forward another month or so and he gets me another used replacement that ended up having another defect. This time the space bar stabilizer was defective and wouldn't hold the cap on at all. Mind you other caps were loose too. He returned it successfully and after another month of so of waiting bought me another (3rd) used replacement again with the exact same issue. This was returned and brings us to the present. I have been pestering him to buy me a the exact model that be broke, the XT, but he refuses because the only difference is the key caps. I understand this and don't really care because I'm designing my own custom caps anyway. But I argue that he should still buy me a new k95 because not only have we had 3 defective boards sent to us, but also buying without warranty on something like a keyboard scares me.
This is because once the return window expires you're essentially at the mercy of the life of the board. It could last a long normal life, or it could become defective with the RGB, or with some keys just dying , who knows. I dont want to have a board like that especially because the one he broke I took care of really well and was like-new. Anyway, this has been on the back of my mind so I finally plead my case to him yesterday about why I want a new keyboard instead of a used one and he just tells me "I don't have that much money or a job right now and I have to pay rent over the summer" Keep in mind he had more than half a year to come up with the money for a replacement without having to pay any rent whatsoever. AITA for wanting a replacement keyboard that is new instead of used.

Now that the pedometer is mostly stable again, I've been able to resume where I left off, and we've made some progress. In the past couple of weeks, I've been adding buffs and abilities to the game. They aren't fully complete yet, but the remaining tasks are mostly UI work. New icons to display item keywords in the game! Buffs & Consumables Buffs are primarily temporary attributes that come from consumables. They can occasionally be gained from other sources too. Your character can have one active food and one active potion being consumed at the same time (potions will be introduced later with Alchemy). This restriction is necessary to maintain balance. When you're engaged in an activity and you have consumables in your inventory, you'll be able to select one to be consumed from your inventory while performing the activity. If your activity stops, the items that weren't consumed will not be wasted and will remain in your inventory for later use. The UI for all of this is still being designed and developed, but I'll share it when it's presentable. We're trying to find the best possible compromise where the UI will be easy to understand and quick to use, while also minimizing the chance of accidentally consuming items. This is why selecting items for use during an activity would be best, as it ensures that the player intentionally wants to consume their items. Abilities This hasn't been covered in any previous dev blog! Abilities are what we call actions you can perform in the game that have some sort of cooldown. The Syrenthia update will include some items utilizing this, mainly this very interesting item here: What do you think it does? Some items, and possibly other things later on, can offer you abilities to use instead of or in addition to their typical attributes. When you have an item with an ability, these and their cooldowns will be displayed in a new view in the game. You can also use these abilities from that view, triggering their effect and starting the cooldown. Cooldowns can be based on real-world time, steps, and actions. For example, using an ability might have a cooldown of 10,000 steps until you can trigger it again. Items containing abilities will be very rare and unique, and we want to keep them so that they don't add too much unnecessary complexity. If they have time-based cooldowns, they won't make you open the game every hour to min-max stuff. Maneater 2's plot should either be:

- Swimming, biting, tail whipping, lunging, ramming, thrashing, and sonar are all the same albeit more crocodile in style. Maybe swimming will be a little less smooth since we are not fully fish like.
- Ramming boats at high speeds should have a chance to knock people off into the water. Higher mass and using the right evolutions should also have a chance to completely capsize the boat.
- Being semi-aquatic animals, we can now freely traverse on land but we have to manage an oxygen supply in the water.
- Evolution will be brought back with new additions and some changes to improve upon them.
- Infamy and threat meter is reworked. The threat meter will fill up as normal, but the infamy level will be changed to a response intensity level that resets after a while.
- A new narrator should be picked since the original decided to have a mental breakdown. Preferably one that is less prone to conspiracy theories.
- Stealth mechanic should be introduced. The depth and clarity of the water, the time of day and light intensity, and use of underwater foliage should impact the likelihood of detection when pursued by hunters.
- Bone, Bio, and Shadow return with similar characteristics. Bone now increases the chances of knocking humans off boats and completely capsizing them. Bio Electric now has abilities related to the sonar. Shadow now increases stealth efficiency and blinds enemies on top of poisoning them. These evolutions will be unlocked in full, take their own slots, and amplify other evolutions.
- Abilities that increase nutrient gains are removed and replaced with a single ability that boost all four gains along with +25% healing per level.
- Adrenal Gland enhances damage output now as well.
- Amphibious is removed for obvious reasons. Oxygen capacity increases per growth level.
- Subliminal Evasion is removed and players now have a passive effect per growth level that causes predators at their size and smaller to avoid the player altogether.
- The Bone, Bio, and Shadow evolutions will not be attached to collectables. They can be unlocked by defeating the corresponding enemies.
- Other evolutions will be unlocked through statistical progress such as killing humans, other predators, eating prey in general, etc.

Funny thing about humans is, that in movies - we always root for the resistance ( V for Vendetta, Star Wars, Equilibrium… the list goes on). In real life - people call contrarian thinkers “conspiracy theorists”, “loons” and generally dismiss them.
We’re different. We are the resistance. We can see the egregious crimes committed against us and we have the collective balls to not only call it out but actually do something about it. At the cost of our mental and financial health.

 | I live down an unadopted road and have to pull out onto a small yet busy B road that has a 30mph limit. The B road is fairly wide and enough to cater for cars travelling in either direction. To safely pull out to the right, we have to slowly creep forward and peek, creep and peek, creep and peek until we can see far enough up the road to know it's safe to commit to the manoeuvre (while also looking left of course). If we spot a car coming from the right while we're in 'the zone of uncertainty', the vast vast majority of drivers knock 10mph off their speed, flash us, and we're gone. A few days ago, some chap in a rush didn't brake or flash, but instead continued at speed and broke at the last minute with horn blaring. Angry hand gestures ensued. He obviously blamed me for the 'close encounter' as I was pulling out onto the main road, but I feel it was his responsibility to give way to a vehicle with a major sight/line disadvantage. If he were observant, he would see my car bonnet long before I could see him and should use this information to make driving adjustments to avoid an accident. Am I way off track here? I want to start by saying that I do love myself. I am not ugly. I am not socially awkward. I don’t smell bad. I have many friends that I love. What i’m saying is there’s nothing obviously wrong with me that would stop women from liking me. And women do like me, but they don’t like ME. (this is starting to sound really conceited I am not some peak male human form specimen i’m really just an average guy, stick with me here).
What i’m trying to say is no woman seems to like me for who I actually am. Instead when a woman does like me, it’s because of pre conceived notions they have about who they think I am and not who i actually am. It doesn’t help that being a lightskin man, I get fetishized a decent amount, which only got worse once I got locs. The thing is, i know for a fact i can’t be the only one experiencing this, and that most women have to feel this way even more then I do, but no one really seems to relate, or if they do they don’t talk about it.
It’s such a frustrating issue especially because one of my biggest insecurities is not being loved for who i am. I was ugly almost all my teen years, and being short and black with a baby face where that is very much not the beauty standard does not help (i was 4’11 freshman year). It wasn’t until the end of senior year i noticed i started getting attention from women (this didn’t happen overnight, i worked to improve myself). I had grown a lot taller, worked on my hair and skincare, and i just carried myself differently, as well as actually learned how to dress.
About 6 months later is when i got my first real girlfriend. I really like her, but i slowly start noticing and accepting that she doesn’t seem to actually like me or care about me at all, not to mention this was very much my first real romantic relationship so i missed a lot of red flags. It’s just a bunch of little things, and i don’t want to fully explain it as it would make this post even longer, but long story short(ish) i broke up with her a month into our relationship being official (we’d been talking for about 4 months before that) despite me liking every part of her because i could tell that she clearly didn’t like me, and surprisingly i had enough self respect to do what would be right in the long term no matter how much i liked her.
I found out about 2 months after we broke up that she was cheating on me anyways. This doesn’t surprise me as i had started my locs shortly after we started dating, and she preferred the curls i had before, which is ok. However i noticed a clear difference in how she treated me afterwards, one hairstyle change and she would get more irritated with me, would find new things that would make her mad, you know how it goes i guess and that left her dissatisfied enough to cheat? it hurts my head to think about it so i try not to tbh.
The crazy part however is I think it’s just because i looked more like her ex that way💀😭 We had mutual friends, so I did ask them why she acted different towards me compared to her other boyfriends. Turns out, she never got over her ex before me and basically was looking for him in me (not gonna turn out well especially because he’s white and i’m black, and it seemed the more i associated with blackness the less she liked me).
This really hurt me i’m not gonna lie. I know it’s corny, but my ultimate male fantasy is finding one person and boom it’s happily ever after (i know how unrealistic that is, that’s why i said fantasy). Its not so much that i’m super sad about her specifically, but it’s really about what she did means about me. I hate the fact that i let her do that to me, that I ever let her touch me. It feels so violating knowing she’s the only person to have ever really seen me or been with me in a more sexual/romantic way, only for her not to care about me. I wish i had never done anything with her, and every time i remember that i have i make the shower water just a little bit hotter hoping that will somehow cure me and erase her touch. yea i know that makes no sense.
About 3 months after the breakup, i started talking to someone else, however this was when i noticed i started getting fetishized a lot. I was talking to this one girl, and she was cool, but i noticed she liked me a little too much for no reason. Come to find out, and i’m being dead serious, I’m 90% sure she only liked me because her dad was racist and she had issues with him. that’s still hurts my brain to think about tbh.
It’s been about 6 months since then and now, and I haven’t met anyone that seems genuine in getting to know me. While people like me on the surface, no one really cares to actually get to know me and it’s not helping my insecurities really (that whole situation with my ex doesn’t help at all).
I think partially the reason for all this is where I live, it’s mostly white, asians, and latinos, meaning me with darker skin doesn’t fit with the beauty standard. I tend to like women with darker skin more, so that’s who I try to talk to the most, but honestly i’ve noticed that if they aren’t black they try to distance themselves from blackness as much as possible, so it is what it is not much i can do about that.
All this has just worsened my insecurity that there’s just something deeply wrong with me i’m just no aware of. i know this insecurity is 99% irrational, that there’s probably nothing inherently wrong with me but it still eats away at me somtimes. To be fair for all you know, there is something deeply wrong with me.

 | I’m coming off the worst of my 3 UC flares since diagnosed in 2019. I recently was in the heat of a flare 10-15 mucus blood toilet bowls a day with no energy and no daylight to getting better . While on my second 4 week prednisone taper and 4 Aprisso a day I started slowly getting better. My bathroom trips were clearing up and becoming solid but kept flipping back and forth from good to bad. We do get better maybe not for life but in spurts or windows of time. I traveled to Japan/korea from California for 3 weeks and changed my environment, food , and daily stress . One week I nto my trip instated feeling better physically and emotionally. I’m thinking it’s not one thing that suppresses from beating a flair but rather a multitude of layers I don’t understand why I’m better but alll I know is that I am My wife a I ate kimchi, rice , meat, and an assortment of side dishes 1-2 a day and 20,000-30,000 steps a day usually ln lush forest on hiking paths. I wax able to eat white bread and dairy and had no stomach issues. My sleep was terrible the whole trip because of Prednisone and 16 hour time change. I am not a writer but wanted to share some energy and remind you’all to take deep breaths and live yourself because you will crawl out of a dark cloud and live to fight another day. First of all, we have to admit that the Bible is the accomplishment of the Ephraim which loyally records the Jewish history, explains the relationship between the God, Devil and human beings to the furthest degree, and gives the direction the human beings should take.
The Bible, the Koran, the Buddhist Scripture and the Tao Te Ching are the eternal and effective treasures and collections of human wisdom, teaching us how to behave and develop into the higher level of life space.
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth”. The first sentence in the Bible did tell the truth. But the things covered by the cossack may not be the holly things. And the people wearing the sacred cassock may not be the abbot.
The problem with the Bible is that the God it introduces is not the genuine Greatest Creator.
We have known that the Greatest Creator has the 8 features. The Greatest Creator is unique and exclusive, amorphous, neutral, mysterious, impartial, merciful, supremely powerful and intelligent. The wisdom of the Greatest Creator is revealed through its creation of universe order, designing of LIFE program and knowing of the past and the future.
Then, does the God in the Bible have the above-mentioned 8 features?
Let’s explain this with examples.
The Betrayal of Adam and Eve
According to the Genesis, Adam and Eve were instigated to eat the fruit on the Wisdom Tree forbidden by the God in the Bible. Because they have violated the order of the God (in the Bible), they were repelled out of the Eden.
It indicates that the God in the Bible is a. incompetent; b. improvident; and c. unjust.
He is incompetent because he was a loser at the beginning. The first couple of human he created betrayed him. So can we still say it is supremely powerful?
Can we still believe in a “person” who often loses? The Great Flood had killed most of the human beings. What happened to them afterwards? They still wouldn’t listen to his words. The Moses Ten Commandments are actually the directives of the God in the Bible. Can you tell me how many of them are obeyed by the human being? Actually not even one. The God in the Bible seemed to know nothing about how to control the human beings. The only measure it takes is to voice warnings and threats against the human beings. Thousands of years has passed, the human beings remain the same. Is there no means to control the human beings? Or is there some other force constraining this Almighty God? If this is the case, is this God not sole or exclusive? For thousands of years, the human beings have been violating hisorder. What is he waiting for?
The God in the Bible is improvident because he didn’t know that Adam and Eve were going to betray him or the development trend of what he had created. Is this God, who is not able to predict the future or the past, still reliable? If the Earth is going to get out of the Solar System and this God knows nothing about it, how can he save the human beings? How can this GOD administer the deities, Buddha, celestial beings and Devils when he found it difficult to control the human beings? How can he manage the spacious Universe?
The God in the Bible is unjust because it cannot tell wrong from the right and because it is unreasonable.
Why would Adam and Eve betray the God in the Bible? There are three major reasons. First, the genetic structure of Adam and Eve had faults, or was imperfect. The life created by this God was now its own constraint. This angered the God very much. It is just like the house built by an architect who put every efforts was fallen and hit his own feet. Is the house or the architect that should be blamed?
The second reason they betrayed is that they were instigated and seduced by the snake. Adam and Eve are humans while behind the snake was the Devil Satan. The energy and wisdom of human beings can’t match those of the Devil. This God didn’t punish the Devil Satan. Instead, it imposed inflictions on Adam and Eve and drove them out of Eden. Is it fair? If a rapist raped an 8-year-old girl, would it be fair to blame the girl for her sexual organ and weakness instead of bringing justice to the rapist?
The third reason of betrayal, which is also the most important one, is the damned Wisdom Tree that can tell the good and evil. Who has planted it in the Eden and why? It’s just like putting a poisonous sweet on the dinner table for the kids. Or it’s like playing the porn video for the young girls while teaching them to retain their innocence. Would a moral person do such a thing? Isn’t this “person” who planted the Wisdom Tree in the Eden has caused the betrayal of Adam and Eve?
Besides, does this God, who had created Adam and Eve, has other measures to take rather than driving Adam and Eve out of the Eden? Is it fair not to give them a second chance simply because they have made only one mistake? Does one mistake justify their life-long sins?

“Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold.” Because Cain is a criminal, we can fully understand it as ““Therefore whosoever slayeth the criminal, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold.””
We can conclude we had better become criminals because the criminals are protected and the good men are not. The good men have the risk of being revenged sevenfold.
The Prophet and the Dream
In the Bible, there are a large number of prophets and dreams. The prophets are the representatives of the God in the Mortal World. They have unimaginable wisdom and power, which sink the average people with average wisdom into the mist. If someone says, “I am a prophet”, should we believe him or not. If we don’t, we are standing against the God. If we do, how can we know the prophet is a fake or not?
Now let’s talk about the dreams. There are many dreams and dream analysis in the Bible, in particular in the Revelation. Of course, those who can analyze the dreams are all prophets. But they have also brought a lot of puzzles.

I get frustrated with genius annotations, especially re: Vampire Weekend's discography. While I was reading through some of the lyrics last night, it struck me how surface level many of the associations are on the lyric page for "Ice Cream Piano," which is a shame for such a thematically rich song.
That said, I decided to take a stab at dissecting the song as a whole, while tying some of the more obscure references with themes in the larger project.
This ambiguity is a carried theme throughout the rest of the song, and as the lyrics continue, which side is throwing out accusations becomes less relevant. The implied goal of these first lines is to frame the rest of the song as an argument between two individuals, and to show the sneaky ways in which their conflicting viewpoints mirror each other.
I think it's important to mention here that, ahead of "Father of the Bride," Ezra spoke about wanting to move away from the more impressionistic style present in earlier Vampire Weekend records and experiment in writing lyrics where the general theme of the song can be understood in the first few lines. In reference to the album, "Ice Cream Piano" serves as a massive "YOU ARE HERE" marker on a larger map of western and American political culture. There's a pretty clear line to draw from the struggle between the two characters described in this song and the ouroboric nature of modern-day political discourse, as we witness two parties cannibalize each other in an attempt to garner support from a majority of peoples. But to say that's the entire message of the song feels reductive to the incredible songwriting here. Even that conclusion lends to the broader observation of two ideas that exist only to oppose the other.

The first sentence in the Bible did tell the truth. But the things covered by the cossack may not be the holly things. And the people wearing the sacred cassock may not be the abbot. The problem with the Bible is that the God it introduces is not the genuine Greatest Creator. We have known that the Greatest Creator has the 8 features. The Greatest Creator is unique and exclusive, amorphous, neutral, mysterious, impartial, merciful, supremely powerful and intelligent. The wisdom of the Greatest Creator is revealed through its creation of universe order, designing of LIFE program and knowing of the past and the future. Then, does the God in the Bible have the above-mentioned 8 features? Let’s explain this with examples. The Betrayal of Adam and Eve According to the Genesis, Adam and Eve were instigated to eat the fruit on the Wisdom Tree forbidden by the God in the Bible. Because they have violated the order of the God (in the Bible), they were repelled out of the Eden. It indicates that the God in the Bible is a. incompetent; b. improvident; and c. unjust. He is incompetent because he was a loser at the beginning. The first couple of human he created betrayed him. So can we still say it is supremely powerful? Can we still believe in a “person” who often loses? The Great Flood had killed most of the human beings. What happened to them afterwards? They still wouldn’t listen to his words. The Moses Ten Commandments are actually the directives of the God in the Bible. Can you tell me how many of them are obeyed by the human being? Actually not even one. The God in the Bible seemed to know nothing about how to control the human beings. The only measure it takes is to voice warnings and threats against the human beings. Thousands of years has passed, the human beings remain the same. Is there no means to control the human beings? Or is there some other force constraining this Almighty God? If this is the case, is this God not sole or exclusive? For thousands of years, the human beings have been violating hisorder. What is he waiting for? The God in the Bible is improvident because he didn’t know that Adam and Eve were going to betray him or the development trend of what he had created. Is this God, who is not able to predict the future or the past, still reliable? If the Earth is going to get out of the Solar System and this God knows nothing about it, how can he save the human beings? How can this GOD administer the deities, Buddha, celestial beings and Devils when he found it difficult to control the human beings? How can he manage the spacious Universe? The God in the Bible is unjust because it cannot tell wrong from the right and because it is unreasonable. Why would Adam and Eve betray the God in the Bible? There are three major reasons. First, the genetic structure of Adam and Eve had faults, or was imperfect. The life created by this God was now its own constraint. This angered the God very much. It is just like the house built by an architect who put every efforts was fallen and hit his own feet. Is the house or the architect that should be blamed? The second reason they betrayed is that they were instigated and seduced by the snake. Adam and Eve are humans while behind the snake was the Devil Satan. The energy and wisdom of human beings can’t match those of the Devil. This God didn’t punish the Devil Satan. Instead, it imposed inflictions on Adam and Eve and drove them out of Eden. Is it fair? If a rapist raped an 8-year-old girl, would it be fair to blame the girl for her sexual organ and weakness instead of bringing justice to the rapist? The third reason of betrayal, which is also the most important one, is the damned Wisdom Tree that can tell the good and evil. Who has planted it in the Eden and why? It’s just like putting a poisonous sweet on the dinner table for the kids. Or it’s like playing the porn video for the young girls while teaching them to retain their innocence. Jesus came to the Mortal World to atone for the human beings’ sins. According to the Bible, all the people have their “original sin”. Where does the “original sin” come from? Actually, they are inherited from Adam and Eve, the ancestors of human beings, whose sins were formed because they had eaten the fruit on the damned Wisdom Tree. When we are born, we have the “original sin” inherited from Adam and Eve. The “cross” on our back was much too heavy. According to this logic, “the son of a thief is always a thief”, “the son of a criminal is always a criminal”, and “the son of an emperor is always an emperor”. That’s why in ancient China, in the feudal period in particular, “If a man committed crime, all his family members would be sentenced to death”, or “If a man attained the Tao, even his pets ascended to Heaven”. This also explains why the thrones can only be passed on to the next generations of royal families. This is because it complies with the logic in the Bible. If somebody has sins, the God in the Bible and the Satan sined first. Is it humanitarian to inflict on billions of humans throughout the history simply because of the wrongdoings of Adam and Eve? Why not executing Adam and Eve and creating a new pair of humans at the time? Is creating a new couple so difficult for the God in the Bible? All the people are born with sins. This is why each of us comes to the Mortal World to endure the sufferings. But the sins are not inherited from our ancestors. They are made by oursleves in the previous cycle of life. If we don’t have sins, we would all have become Buddha or celestial beings. Ten Plagues of Egypt According to the Exodus, when Moses and Aaron, in the capacity of the GOD in the Bible, asked the Egyptian Pharaoh to let the Israelis leave Egypt, they were refused. Consequently, the GOD in the Bible imposed 10 plagues on Egypt. 1. Plague of Blood The water of the Nile will be changed into blood. The fish in the Nile will die, and the river will stink; the Egyptians will not be able to drink its water. 2. Plague of Frogs. The Nile will teem with frogs. They will come up into your palace and your bedroom and onto your bed, into the houses of your officials and on your people, and into your ovens and kneading troughs. The frogs will go up on you and your people and all your officials. 3. Plague of Lice.The dust of the ground became lice, lice came upon men and animals. All the dust throughout the land of Egypt became lice. 4. Plague of Flies The houses of the Egyptians will be full of flies, and even the ground where they are. 5. However, it was unreasonable and went too far to kill the first-born of all humans and animals in Egypt. You can punish the Egyptian Pharaoh for his disobedience. Why inflicting on the common people? Even worse, the God would kill the kids of the girl slaves working as donkeys in the lowest rank. Can we still say the God behaving like this merciful? It was behaving without humanitarianism just like a Devil. Even more abominable, the Pharaoh of Egypt wouldn’t let the Israelis leave mainly because the God had hardened the Pharaoh’s heart. Before the Ten Plagues came, the God in the Bible had done something. According to 7:3 in the Exodus, Jehovah told Moses, “And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt.” It means the God in the Bible had prepared a trap for the Egyptians, trying to find an excuse for the following plagues. In Exodus 8:19, “Then the magicians said to Pharaoh, "This is the finger of God." But Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he did not listen to them, as the LORD had said.”. In Exodus 9:35, “And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, neither would he let the children of Israel go; as the LORD had spoken by Moses.” In Exodus 10:20, “But the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go.” In Exodus 10:27, “But the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he would not let them go.” In Exodus 11:10, “And Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh: and the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go out of his land.” It was the God in the Bible who let the Israelis leave Egypt. But it was the same God who had hardened the Pharaoh’s heart and sparked the conflicts so that the Israelis couldn’t leave Egypt easily. So what the God in the Bible was doing? It was encouraging the people to revolt while telling the authorities about the revolt and encouraging the government to oppress them mercilessly. Isn’t such a person a schemer and two-faced? So is this the image of the Greatest Creator? The Israelis Are the People of the Covenant The Bible has the Old Testament and the New Testament. The part telling what happened before Jesus was born was called the Old Testament and the part telling things after Jesus was born was the New Testament. The Testament actually means agreement, covenant, and contract. The whole Bible is the agreement, covenant and contract between the Israelis and the Greatest Creator. So here is a paradox. There are over 3,000 nations in the world and why the God has established the Testament with the Israelis? Does this mean the other nations are not the subjects of the God? If they are, why has the God only established the Testament with the Israelis while neglecting all the other nations? If they are not, what’s the origin of all the other nations? Are Adam and Eve only the ancestors of Israelis and not the other nations? The Israelis are created by the God. Does it mean the other nations are created by the Devil? There are 1,656 years between the Genesis and the Great Flood. There are 857 years between the Great Flood and the Exodus. There are 396 years between the Exodus and the founding of the Israeli State. There are 510 years between the founding of the Israeli State and their captive to Babylon. There are 152 years between their imprisonment in Babylon and the reestablishment of Jerusalem. There are 450 years between the rebuilding of Jerusalem and the birth of Jesus. There are 2003 years between the birth of Jesus and today. So according to the Bible, the history of human beings is about 6,376 years. According to the Bible, there were only 8 people survived the Great Flood on the Earth. They were the couple of Noah, their three sons and their wives. It means that 4,700 years ago, there was no one else living on the Earth except for the Noah family. But this has brought some other questions. First, where do the American Indians come from? According to the theory of Continental Drift, America drifted away from the other continents. But it couldn’t happen within 4,700 years of time. Then how the Noah family reached America from the Middle East? After the Great Flood, there were only 8 members in Noah family. It was impossible for them to get dispersed. Noah couldn’t let one of his sons and his wife to cross the freezing Siberia and the Bering Strait to get to America. Second, where did the African blacks come from? From the perspective of genetics, the blacks, yellows and whites have their separate ancestors. A couple of pure whites couldn’t generate the blacks and yellows. Even the evolvement couldn’t produce the blacks and yellows in 3,700 years of time. Besides, according to Darwin’s evolutionary theory, the survival of the fittest, could the Israelis able to write the Bible evolve into the African blacks? The first Chinese King was born about 4,600 years ago. The story of Dayu‘s Flood Control happened about 4,200 years ago. It was impossible for the future generations of Noah to come to mainland China 100 years after the Great Flood. Even if they did it, how could they produce so many people who followed Dayu to control the flood? Where does the Chinese nation come from? Are the Flood Control by Dayu were just the Great Flood? From the perspective of the Bible, the biological evolutionary theory could never be accepted. But once we accepted the theory, it would deny the theory that the God created the human beings. But if we denied the evolutionary theory, there was no way to explain the origin of the blacks and yellows and we can’t say Adam and Eve are the common ancestors of all human beings. The Story of Cain The first child of Adam and Eve, after they were driven out of the Eden, was Cain, followed by Abel. “And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD. And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering: But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect.” Out of jealousy, Cain killed his brother Abel. We want to ask the God in the Bible some questions, “Why do you favor the offerings of Abel instead of those of Cain? Is Cain killing his brother Abel not your fault? If you had never favored one of them, how could it arouse the jealousy of Cain? Why the people created by you had so many troubles? Adam and Eve wouldn’t follow your orders and their kids killed each other. As the God, you don’t have the ability to solve these problems? Or is it what you have designed? Cain was a murderer and deserved the punishment. But you told Cain, “Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold.” So what kind of the justice standard is it? It is hardly understandable not to levy the punishment on the criminal. But it is even more understandable to have revenge of sevenfold on those who would punish the criminal. Is it protecting the criminal? That’s why the few thousand years of human history were full of blood, violence and crime. The God in the Bible has been protecting the criminals. “Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold.” Because Cain is a criminal, we can fully understand it as ““Therefore whosoever slayeth the criminal, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold.”” We can conclude we had better become criminals because the criminals are protected and the good men are not. Hi everyone. Our marriage hasnt been as good for a long time already. We are very different in many aspects but I won't be talking about the other altercations we already had.
Here it goes. My husband likes to be scratched on his back before going to sleep, so, that's what ive been doing for the past 6 years every night for 20 minutes or longer. He gets really annoyed if I don't.
I didn't work so I thought it's the least I can do next to cooking as he's been working by day.
I started my first working day last week and I was very tired. He asked me to scratch his back and I said no I am very tired. He kept on begging and I've told him no at that time for like 20 times. He then proceded to poke my back for a minute as I tried to turn around to sleep.
I got really frustrated and pushed his arm away. I didnt hit him but I pushed his arm away with force as I got so frustrated he didnt leave me alone. He then hit my arm with his fist so I punched him in the arm as well and we kept hitting eachother a bit harder every time until it turned into a real fight. His last hit was pretty hard and he is a lot stronger than me so I spit in his face and screamed 'leave me alone i said stop for a hundred times!' I know its awful to do that and I own up to my mistake.
He spit back in my face twice while forcing me on the bed and I hit back. He then punched me so hard on the side of my face that everything turned white in front of my eyes for a couple seconds. I was really upset and left the room.
I know I made mistakes in this situation as well but since last week I can not look at him normal anymore. I've been quiet at home ever since. The second I ran away that night he ran after me apologized and said he never meant to hit me that hard. I told him to go.
Next day he texted me at work saying how sorry he was but that I was the one who started all of this. I told him to leave me alone with his lame excuses and that I cant look at him the same anymore.
I never once hit him in the face just in the arm and I know thats wrong but he's a big guy that punched me in my head. Im still shocked. Im also shocked by him saying I started this when I asked him over 20 times to please stop as I am tired and didnt want to scratch his back. It's rediculous really.
Am I justified to leave? I come from a broken family and always told myself I am only marrying once but I cant stay if there is no respect between us

My earphones that have served me well for 2 years have packed in. Well, just one side has but still I'd like some more.
My problem comes from the fact that I don't want in-ear earphones like airpods and I don't want big DJ like headphones. I want to be able to wear one earphone at a time so I can hear cars etc while I'm out in the world.
I'd anyone has any recommendations for wireless headphones that fit this very specific criteria, I'd be most grateful
