You should NEVER start out modding with mod pack for the same reason you NOBODY start a woodworking class by buying a COMPLETE wood furniture set. Start small, play the game. See what you don't like and wished to change. That way you understand the mechanism of its working, you see the quirks of vanilla game and hopefully at least a partial understanding of the mechanism that it operate on. Only then, when you understand what you desire you start to Download and follow the installation manual of that mod.

This might be a bit long, so TL;DR: while on a walk my roommates and I witnessed a man in our apartment complex try to hide away a puppy deliberately while the owner asked for her puppy back. Afterwards, I reported the guy to building management and I'm starting to second guess my decision.
Earlier today during my evening walk together w my roommates and our dogs, we ran into a woman who was frantic and showed us a Ring doorbell screenshot of a man holding/walking away with her dog, saying that the man in the photo took her right from their front door. She explained that her son left the door open on accident for too long, and their puppy took the opportunity to escape their building. It turns out that the puppy did run around a bit outside, but eventually returned to their door, which was when the man came by and picked up the puppy to take her away.
Normally I'd interpret the situation as the guy being a good Samaritan that found a lost puppy and decided to look for the owners, maybe not knowing that the puppy already knew where the owners were, but as we parted ways we all saw the same man in the photo turn round the corner right at the sidewalk we were at. The owner spots him first, waves at him, and goes "That's my puppy! You have my dog!"
This is the part that still confuses me. Instead of returning the dog as one expects one to, the man freezes instead, turns around, and seemingly briskly walks away from us, all while holding this poor lady's puppy. Needless to say we all found this extremely weird, and all of us (me, roommates, and dog's owner) gave chase after this guy. Roommates took a detour around the building the guy was going to just in case he tried to lose us by taking an alternate route.
When I caught up to him, I found the guy forcibly shutting his apartment door, seemingly tossing and shutting the puppy inside. Puppy's owner catches up, and asks why the guy shut the dog inside his apartment. Guy doesn't relent, and finally opens his apartment door to let the dog back out when the owner holds up her phone and tells him that she caught him on camera. She thanks us profusely for backing her up, and I feel stupid for this but I completely forget to get her info and name, but I did mention that she should report this incident to management at the time.
The puppy is returned home and safe, but it makes me uneasy that someone like that lives in a community that has so many dogs. My roommate pointed out that the puppy he stole seemed to be an English bulldog, and those particular breeds could be sold for A LOT of money. This is just assumption, and we don't want to jump to too many conclusions on the situation. I did report this incident to our apartment complex's management, but I'm unsure if anything else can be done. I mentioned that if the dog's owner also reports this, they can contact us at any time to use us as witnesses.
All in all, that's about it. A part of me is second guessing myself that this is all a big misunderstanding, and I just reported some guy for looking out for a dog that he assumed was lost. Did I do the right thing? Should I have waited a few days before reporting? Will anything even be done about it? (Unlikely) But way too many things just seem way too suspicious in the moment. I previously played as necromancer, sorcerer and rogue and it was fun. I was excited to play as druid in season 4. So when i started playing as a druid i realized that druid doesnt have a basic skill to attack with his weapons(axes, swords etc)(weapons are just cosmetics thats really bad), basic skills are just temporaly paws attacks in werewolf or werebear form and the werebear or werewolf skill you unlock later are just three attacks then you become human again. I thought that it was like diablo 2, that for some seconds you walk and attack as a werebear or werewolf and not temporaly attacks, it feels really bad. Also the summoning pets should have been in the beginning of the skills not later on. Also with one point on wolfs you get instantly 2, would be better to have 1 at the beginning and with more points get the 2nd( even grizzly bear from diablo 2 is missing). If Vessels of hatred doesnt fix different things ( like this one) i dont think i will buy it. I feel like Diablo 4 is not diablo its more like an mmo. Diablo 2 was the last of its kind, im not saying diablo 3 and 4 arent good games but they dont feel diablo games. Its like the new creators took a ready game(with a good fame) and they changed its mechanics to feel like its their games and they sold a game that costs 70$ and always trying to make more money by selling skins etc than making the game more fun and giving free things to the fans of diablo ( since it cost 70$ at the first place).

2024.05.15 09:24 TacoDrop_Tuesday 14w old puppy will not stop defecating in his crate, mainly at night!
We have a 14w (nearly 15w) old puppy, he is a Golden Retriever and Redbone Coonhound mix. We've had him since was 8w old without any issues up until recently. He was doing FANTASTIC with his training, we were having an issue with potty training in the beginning because he would never ask to go, he still doesn't sometimes we just recognize his body language and take him outside. He has done amazing with all of his other training and responds well to praise and treats and still does to this day outside of our potty issue. He was basically potty trained by 12w old but when we took him to his vet appt. for his follow up puppy shots - he's been a different dog. He will poop in his crate every single day and night now and has had on/off diarrhea since those vaccines. His food and treats have not changed, nothing new has been added to his diet, he is walked every hour and thirty minutes (sometimes sooner than that if we can tell he has to go) He is on a water and feeding schedule as well. He was in a full size kennel that we had available because our bigger dog doesn't use it and before this 12w appt. he was doing fantastic with his crate training, would occasionally pee in it if we were out for too long but thats stopped, he no longer pees in our house at all, only poops. Once he started defacating in his kennel multiple times in one night we did move down to a crate his size where he can only just lay down in, he basically has no room in his crate but will still poop in it without asking to go outside. He has also started laying in his poop! He doesn't care if poop is where he lays and eats... We now use the bigger kennel as the area he is fed in and where he can play safely when I need to do things around the house and can't watch him, it's now a play pen. During his dinner tonight he stopped eating, pooped right next to his food bowl, and went right back to eating! Never asked to go outside or anything, I was right there the entire time. I was flabbergasted... When he's not in the kennel he's leashed to me with a hands-free leash for training purposes and he will just squat and poop right next to me without asking, even if we were just outside. Keep in mind, he didn't do ANY of this before this 12w. vet appt and now he will literally poop and lay in it! He'll poop multiple times in his kennel over one night and I have to bathe him and scrub the crate first thing every day. I am 30w pregnant and I physically cannot keep this up anymore.... I physically cannot get down to bathe this pup daily, I cannot lift and scrub his crate without overexerting myself. I physically cannot handle this. Something needs to change or we may have to rehome him and we don't want that but we cannot have this issue persist for much longer with a newborn on the way. He is walked regularly, I have lost sleep for days now getting up to walk him every 1-2 hours overnight. This puppy is literally making my pregnancy a living hell for my body, my husband believes I'm going to hospitalize myself from over exertion. I walk him before feeding him, after feeding him, after naps, playtime, and after any time he gets really excited. He's on a food and water schedule. Nothing about his diet has changed. Besides grass he hasn't eaten anything he shouldn't have to upset his GI track. I've tried disinfecting with bleach, that's before I learned that's bad for him though, I've tried vinegar, pet urine & feces cleaner, puppy pads (but he'll just chew on them and try to eat them, so that's a no go) We do reward him and give him high praise when he he does poop outside. We're at a loss....... My partner and I have done literally everything I can think of and every suggestion I have found online. I've even talked to local dog trainers about my situation and they all confirm and basically tell me to do what I'm doing and to be patient but it has been nearly 3 weeks now. I cannot even be in my house anymore because of the smell (pregnancy, it makes me puke) Any advice or training tips, or does my puppy have "Dirty Dog Syndrome" and do I just need to accept it and move on?

There is some TW in this with possible SA so read with caution. My now ex is constantly playing hot and cold with me and I’ve done my part to block him on everything but he keeps finding ways to contact me and reel me back into trusting him again even though I know he’s just using me. He usually gives me 5 weeks to think I’m healed then bombards me wanting to talk again. I feel like looking back when we first met I believe he assaulted me because he got me very drunk to where I couldn’t really consent or felt pressured into having sex and I vaguely remember I started crying then he stopped and immediately was trying to comfort me like he knew he was doing something wrong. Most of this relationship has been him trying to control me and ruin my self esteem which he has fully succeeded in.  | So instead of adding these heroes to Duels where you can use your collection to build a small deck and as you win games you can add more cards to your collection built deck they deleted Duels and throw it into Twist and you can’t even construct your own deck with the cards in your collection and you need to craft or already own a lot of these legendary cards which most are not worth the resources for a mode that had its “own expansion” that people put money into and then lock it down for months on end? This is outrageous. People wanted new heroes added to duels after the initial launch hype wore off and they did do that, but only two were even original excluding Lich King and the rest were just rehashed from solo adventures. Duels had so much potential, a lot of people enjoyed the dungeon runs of old in PVE, people love Bob from those PVE’s, one thing that always seemed like a missed opportunity was not incorporating him into Duels like the old PVE’s. Every single game mode they try they can’t nail the delivery, Battlegrounds popped off and remains so popular because it’s a “free” mode and it’s not even an original idea, auto battlers existed before it, they just added a few extra things, Hearthstone used to be one of my favorite pass times, I started playing with the launch of Naxxramas, I have played on and off for years, I try to not dust my cards aside from useless legendaries with the worst effects that they printed and man did they make a lot of those back in the day, I try to hang on to some of the more interesting and niche ones though, and the same goes for the epic cards, however I always tried to keep at least one copy of them. I enjoyed Duels a lot to be honest, but it got staler and staler because it was in “beta”. I like playing standard, but I don’t like dumping money into sets for preorders anymore, I’ve been burned to many times in the past doing so, yes a lot of cards have been power-crept over the years, but there’s also been some looks good on paper sets over the years that most of the cards saw zero play, not to mention they try and make like a little lot of cards for classes that are synergistic in each set and have been on the trend for awhile now, however they are effects that aren’t evergreen and they tend to print like 6-7 of these cards give or take and if you’re lucky and find one you enjoy then maybe just maybe they give it 2 or 3 more support pieces a month and a half later in the mini sets. Mini sets are neat, they shake up the meta because people want to try new things, but give it 2 weeks max and it’s back to the same exact meta just with 1-3 new cards from the mini sets added to the same copy paste meta deck it was before. I miss adventures so much, it was enjoyable playing through them, ran the same pricing as mini sets just about, but you got to experience lore, story, you had to experiment when it came to deck building to bet certain bosses, also each wing was released one week at a time which kept the meta feeling fresh and was constantly evolving until a few weeks after every wing had launched. Old Hearthstone had shitty cards by todays standards, it also had ones that were shitty then too, but I feel like there used to be a lot more tender and care put into the game as a whole. With all that said I’d like to end on this note, Wild needs more adjustments, power-creep is real and I thought there was a glimmer of hope with Taverns in Time because they did buff a handful of the older cards, are they playable in wild though, no. I feel like cards that have rotated to wild in the past and in the future need to be looked at individually and have their cost, stats, and in some rare cases even their effects adjusted, especially from like the first handful of expansions, wild will never have a significant shake up in its meta unless cards of old are brought down to be even at least the bare minimum of today’s cards power level. People complain about Wild constantly how it’s just a mode where your cards of old have gone to die in your collection until you dust them and there’s essentially never a chance for anything new to shine, it’s a digital card game, Taverns in Time was just a glimmer of hope, gave me that hope that cards of old could see life again, Duels did that too in its own way, I just wish there was more care put into the game like their what’d been in the past even with poorly designed cards, there was still more care put into it, adventures, dungeon runs, just more personality. I want to launch up the game and feel that sense of excitement and joy I once had and I doubt I am alone on that. Don’t even get me started on the amount of time and budget they sunk into Mercenaries for it to flop like it did, yet it’s still in the game simply because it has its own purchasable content. I wish they’d take a page out of Magic the Gathering’s book and add another format similar to MTG’s “modern” format and still retain the standard and wild format however as I said above I feel like the wild format needs an overhaul. I also think a format like MTG’s “commander” format would be interesting where deck building sizes are increased, starting health totals are higher, but you can only one a single copy of each card you put in your deck legendary or not with the added bonus that all the Highlander cards that have been printed old and knew were available in that format. I still play Hearthstone and I have on and off for years, but I just miss the feeling the game once gave me, I have had a lot of enjoyment over the years playing, I still do from time to time even now, but it just doesn’t feel the same like it used to.
