Anyone else having this issue today? Just started this morning. The watermark in live stream shows the camera name I have created but the Home Screen view shows channel numbers, not camera names.
I have changed them back several times, but when I close the app and go back, the changes don’t appear.
My set up is an 8 Chan NVR with 5 cams.. POE. Mixture of different models.

Hi, first time poster, lurker since dec 2020. This is about to be some of the tinfoiliest stuff ever, but bear with me. Last night I was digging deep into some rabbit holes and stumbled upon some interesting things. I don’t have time to go super in depth because I am trying to not get fired today, so you guys gotta take it from here. Eventually starry night digging led me to this guy, whose name I’ll censor because this sub doesn’t like him. He has been spewing a ton of super cryptic tin foil for years and some of the stuff in these posts stood out to me, including the fact that he often delivers his messages in rap form. (A dfv tweet shows us a guy rapping about being harassed/hated when he was trying to help, similar to how this user was treated in the sub. To this tweet, he replied to dfv “thank you!”). I think this guy might be one of the people working with dfv.

While I was on his twitter I saw a strong recommendation to watch theppseedsshow’s livestream last night. I had been looking for some sort of link to the Mon-wed-Fri 7pm stream schedule and “check out an anon’s (random?) stream” DFV referred to all evening. This channel streams those nights (with the exception of this week because it’s a big week). There’s also the tweet with the scene of the kid drawing a bunch of dicks(peepees>PP?). Even bigger, the song in DFV’s Furi tweet happens to be their stream intro song. (It is around 35min into this stream from last night (and is on all previous streams as well).
When I found this, the stream had been going for a little over an hour. I stayed and watched until the end (1:30am). If you have 6 hours of free time, I highly recommend watching the stream. It has a lot of ultra shiny tinfoil, some of it I feel a lot of you will instantly dismiss as shill (for example, these guys are big into a different stock)- please give it a chance.

Prvič: dividendni donosi niso garantirani in jih lahko podjetje kadarkoli ukine.
Drugič: Dividendni donosi (dividend yield) niso isto kot izplačane dividende (dividend payout). Dividendni donos je izračunan v odstotku. Delnica vredna 100$ bo ob 10% dividendnem donosu vlagatelju izplačala 10$ na leto. Če pa cena delnice pade bo posledično ob istem dividendnem donosu padla tudi količina izplačanih dividend. V tem primeru bo celoten donos delnice oškodovan dvakrat: prvič zaradi nizkega ali celo negativnega kapitalskega dobička, drugič pa zaradi manjših izplačanih dividend.
Vzemimo naprimer delnico GNL (Global Net lease incorporated). Delnica ki je imela maja 2024 15.11% dividendni donos je bila 30. junija 2015 vredna 26.52$; 6. maja 2024 pa samo 7.28$. Deset tisoč $ vloženih v delnico GNLa junija 2015 je v manj kot 9. letih padlo na 7144.62$ (celoten donos minus 28.55%)
Nasprotno pa je delnica ETFa VOO ki pasivno sledi indeksu SP500 v istem časovnem razdobju narasla od 188.04$ na 474.72$. Ker izplačane dividende zavisijo od cene delnice je ob minimalnem dividendnem donosu 1.36% deset tisoč $ vloženih v delnico VOO v istem časovnem obdobju naraslo na 29435 $ (celoten donos plus 194.35%):

Kadar boste v bodoče srečali “plemenitelja” ki vam bo vzhičeno razlagal da je “iznašel” nekaj povsem “novega” - npr vlaganje v “imune” delnice z visokimi dividendnimi donosi - se spomnite na zgornji primer. Če bi kdorkoli resnično “iznašel nekaj novega” bi v to vlagal sam, ne pa podtikal drugim.

Just some thoughts as I've got back into PCVR recently ...
My father sent me a Quest 3 for my birthday and the edge to edge clarity of the lenses got me back into VR. I have a Reverb G2 (which I used with knuckles) and a Quest 2, but I had played less and less due to content and, frankly, I was sick of fresnel lenses. Meta's optics are now ridiculously good. I had some software in my account, and as soon as I fired up racket fury - it was clear as day, but looked like absolute crap because it hasn't been updated for Quest 3. I played Asgard's Wrath 2, and while better, was the same issue.
I then went to try and set up PCVR streaming with virtual desktop. I tried 200 mbps AVC and HEVC. I could get up to 400-500 mbps H.264. Truthfully, I wasn't happy with the visual quality or the latency.
I used the link cable. I dialed mbps to 960 mbps. Much better, but still not happy with visual quality or latency. The optics of the Quest 3 make it way to easy to see artifacts. I could even see it on the cubes in the color gradients of beat saber, and it drove me crazy. But really, I could live with it if it wasn't for the latency. At max bit rate I'm locked at about 45 ms. On a native headset I believe it's under 10 ms. You can definitely feel it in VR and it ruins it for me. I could dial back the mbps over link, but then the graphic fidelity goes down.
So, I set out to get a native PCVR headset that was as close to the optics of the Quest 3 as possible.
Initially I was interested in BSB, but the reason the Quest 3 excited me so much was edge to edge clarity. Looked at Crystal and Aero. I'm sorry, I just can't buy a Pimax device - knowing how many issues friends have had with the company. Further, it's massive. Maybe the Crystal light will be better.
I got a used Aero from Adorama for $750. It's pretty good, it's a mature product - but it's lenses aren't as good as the Quest 3 (it's close). It's got slight barrel distortion still on the right and left edges of the lens, which my brain tuned out after a day. It's also got slight motion blur when you move your head. Slightly annoying, but I don't notice it unless I look for it. While it's got no local dimming, colors look great - and I have never had an FOV that bothered me.
I went back to the Quest 3 last night playing red matter 2 standalone. The optics are absolutely flawless. The graphics are pretty decent when compared to PCVR, but this is pushing the device to it's limits, as I see frame drops here and there. This is the best we are gonna get from standalone, most games aren't updated to take advantage of it, and it could look soooooo much better via a native displayport connection on a high powered 4090/13900k pc.
All headsets have compromises, and I'm going to use the Aero for PCVR as I really like it. But the quest 3 compromise is self imposed: no native displayport because Meta wants you to buy standalone games from their store. I get it, but it pisses me off. At least make the pro model have a native pcvr option, because that isn't subsidized like the standard models. We have flawless optics at this point but can't use them with native pcvr because meta. That's what bothers me.
If the Quest 3 had native PCVR, I'd pay 2 to 3x it's cost. Which is essentially the original Quest Pro price range. The Aero is great, don't get me wrong - but it's hard to go back to any compromises in optics when you've seen perfect optics. For Meta, the quest pro was a financial flop (doesn't mean it's not an excellent headset.) For the quest pro 2, it makes business sense to add a native displayport for both the prosumer and business audience. Heck, most people use their Quest pro for PCVR anyway. This would allow a choice of wireless, or native and would immediately be the best native headset, assuming it's not extremely uncomfortable.
TLDR - the technology is there for flawless PCVR optics, but we can't use it to it's full capabilities.

I live stream from my computer playing Fortnite and other games. Lately (the past month) I’ve been getting extreme packet loss and the occasional disconnect. It’s making streaming unbearable. My pc is a wired connection. My gf uses an Xbox which is wireless and she lags as well.
I have 1gig down and upload speeds. I’m using a eero pro 6e. I’m only using one eero (no mesh system.) I had internet people come out and they told me there wasn’t any problems they could see on their end.
How can I fix this? Since I’m only using one eero and not taking advantage of the mesh system should I just replace it with a traditional router? Any advice is appreciated. Thank you

Good morning. I’m interested in a home weather station and I have a couple of questions I’d love some insight on. I’m looking at the Tempest and Ambient. My main interest is rainfall totals but really I would like a system that gives me the maximum weather info with the most accuracy.
I live in New Hampshire so the winter months are what’s causing me some pause. It often snows then switches to freezing rain and back again to snow. I have no doubt whatever I get will be covered in ice often. Would I have to clear the system of ice to keep getting accurate readings?
Could you all recommend some products that would be a good fit for New Hampshire weather?

Speculation: Roaring Kitty was the twitter handle and Youtube profile for Keith Gill where he would speculate on the stock because he just loved doing it. I think that DFV is saying that what started as a fun speculation of the stock became something bigger than himself with his other channel in DFV on reddit. Now the wheels have moved and in the film it ends with the financial institutions being blown up, perhaps something similar metaphorically is already in place right now. My Samsung fridge suddenly stopped dispensing water, while making ice fine. We live in a hard water area so I assumed it was timescale build up. I’ve tested the water source and filter and both had high water pressure. I stuck a skewer up the dispenser to see if it was just a frozen water line but was met with a block straight away. I attempted to put a ziplock bag with timescale remover on the dispenser but it didn’t work. I pushed up the dispenser with a metal skewer and now some water is coming out but at an extremely slow rate. I’m wondering how to descale the line, as the skewer gets about 6 inches up but can’t go any further. Thanks! Edit* it has now turned on vacation mode itself and won’t let me turn it off?
