Hiya -- The LED display on my heater is showing either and "Ad" or "SF" and wont turn on. It's probably around 20 years old, and I can't find any descriptions for those error codes. Any ideas out there?

2024.04.24 13:48 CptanPanic Sta-Rite sprinkler pump just makes buzzing noise, and pops breakers. Dead?
I have a sprinkler pump that has been running for like 15 years, a Sta-Rite centrifigal cast-iron pump 1.5hp, and is not currently working. Just makes a light buzzing, and then trips breaker. Has it finished its useful life? If so, I notice that Sta-Rite's are harder to find, can I just replace with a cast-iron Everbuilt and expect the same life? This runs sprinklers from pond, in south florida.

I accidentally left my Sta-Rite inground pool filter on Backwash overnight. This morning when I got water levels back to acceptable the pump started up (thank goodness). However, sand shot out of the lines for a solid minute into the pool.
I guess my question is how screwed am I? Google is saying it might be a cracked lateral in the pump, but I have no experience with dealing with the sand. This is the first time I've had something like this come up since buying the house.
I attempted vacuuming some but it quickly became apparent that was a bad idea as it came back through the lines and then gummed up the filter close to the pump

Leslie's suggested to use 16oz of AC and 1lb of shock and run the filter then drain. What are you thoughts? Here is a bit more info. 10k gallon pool, pebble, Sta-Rite Sand filter.  | Hi All, I'm looking to start an driven point well pump after a small cottage has been winterized. Pump is a sta-rite projet model c48h2ec15. I downloaded the manual and it looks pretty straightforward (fill pump through priming tee) however I can't seem to figure out how to remove the fitting from the pressure tank to the priming tee.
