Simply make the perfect Flan and guarantee that the sweetness will stay in your conscious for a very long time!
Ingredients:
For the caramel:

• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1/4 cup water

For the custard:

• 4 large eggs
• 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
• 1 can (12 ounces) evaporated milk
• 1 cup whole milk
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. To make the caramel, place the granulated sugar and water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves, then stop stirring and let it cook undisturbed until it turns a deep amber color, about 8-10 minutes. Swirl the pan occasionally to ensure even caramelization.
3. Once the caramel reaches the desired color, immediately pour it into a 9-inch round baking dish, tilting the dish to evenly coat the bottom. Be careful as the caramel will be extremely hot. Set aside to cool and harden.
4. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, whole milk, and vanilla extract until well combined and smooth.
5. Strain the custard mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to ensure a silky texture.
6. Carefully pour the strained custard mixture over the cooled caramel layer in the baking dish.
7. Place the baking dish inside a larger roasting pan. Fill the roasting pan with enough hot water to reach halfway up the sides of the baking dish, creating a water bath (bain-marie).
8. Carefully transfer the roasting pan to the preheated oven and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the flan is set around the edges but still slightly jiggly in the center.
9. Remove the flan from the oven and from the water bath. Allow it to cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to chill and fully set.
10. To serve, run a knife around the edge of the baking dish to loosen the flan. Place a serving plate upside down on top of the dish, then quickly and carefully invert the dish and plate together to release the flan onto the plate. The caramel will flow over the top of the flan, creating a beautiful glaze.
11. Slice the flan and serve chilled. Enjoy this creamy and indulgent dessert!

Learned about alot of bite size random information about Malaysia, history , geography and plants. My teacher would occasionally lose his marbles and tell us that the Israelis are making Titanium sword to fight alongside Jesus. Overall 7/10
Sivik (Civic) : Basically Pendidikan Moral from wish . com. Easy marks occasionally teacher wouldn't even teach and talk about their life story. Teacher showed us Rambo movie for moral purposes. Occasionally play Big Two with the boys at the back of the class . Overall 8/10
Pendidikan Jasmani (Physical Education):
C'mon la weh. Literally best subject. Just screw around play sports. Although pretty wack when we have to do theory instead when it's raining outside. I remember in year 4 . The last chapter of the PJK Book was talking about drugs . That was cool 😀. Overall 9/10

Bro it's cool asf. Can do masak masak, can do woodwork. Walao can jaga ikan in an aquarium. I remember one time one dude brought in a Siamese fighting fish and the other brought in a gold fish. Let's just say.. the end wasn't pretty. Oh yeh and one of my friends shotgun 3 cans of condense milk during cooking class. Bro was tweaking hard for the next 2 days . Overall 7/10

Since we were kids my brother and I Bothe preferred my mom's "lemon icebox pie" recipe to a cake. It's a simple and DELICIOUS recipe! I just got my Creami Deluxe yesterday and I tried my first creation TODAY (Kinda a Pina Colada thing and it's AMAZING!) and it got me thinking more about what I can make with it.
I'm not experienced miking ice cream or gelato but I notices in the gelato recipes that they are custard/egg based, and then I realized this lemon icebox pie filling seems similar to some degree and I started wondering about how to make it into a frozen something (not sure if it would be gelato, ice cream, or what...). The recipe for the pie filling is as follows (it goes on a simple graham cracker crust and has meringue baked on it but I won't bother posting those parts since they don't seem applicable):

• 3 lemons, juiced
• 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
• 3 eggs
• 4 tablespoons sugar

1. Separate your eggs with whites in one bowl and yolks in another.
2. Combine the egg yolks, lemon juice, and sweetened condensed milk in a large bowl. Pour into crust.

You then top it with the meringue and toast that, then let it cool & gel in the fridge.
Any suggestions? Maybe I should make a batch as-is and try the standard Creami process of freezing it?

I was tasked with making Pistachio Ice Cream without any Heavy Cream or Condensed Milk on hand, so this is what I did.

• I took 2/3 of a stick of unsalted butter. This makes 1/3 of a cup of melted butter. Mix in 2/3 cup of Whole Milk. Heat together and whisk. Then you blend the crap out of it for like 5 minutes. Basically, you need to beat the fat and milk together so much that they come together. Tada you have heavy cream.
• Mix in 2 cups of whole milk with the heavy cream. One cup of blended pistachios. 2 teaspoons of almond extract. 1 teaspoon of vanilla. 1/2 cup of sugar. 5 Tablespoons of Maple Syrup.
• Don't boil, but let it heat for 40 minutes.
• Take 7 Yolks and make a custard. Be careful not to curdle eggs or raise the temperature above 170.
• Let cool once 170 has been reached. Then, put it in your ice cream maker of choice.

Results: The Best Pistachio Ice Cream I have made so far. Tips on how to improve this would be appreciated.

Brownie Recipe
Ingredients:
200g granulated sugar
200g dark chocolate
3 free-range whole eggs
100g butter
100g plain flour
30g cocoa powder
1/2 tsp sea salt
Classic Ganache Mix:
200g dark chocolate
100ml condensed milk
50g butter (milk)
Instructions:
Brownie:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and line an 8-inch square baking tin with parchment paper.

1. In a saucepan, heat the dark chocolate, condensed milk, and butter, stirring constantly until smooth and combined.
   
2. Pour the ganache over the cooled brownie and spread evenly.
   

Refrigerate the brownie with the ganache topping for at least 2 hours before serving.

I know, I know...don't ever use AI recipes most people say...but I have and occasionally they come out fine! I just thought I'd get a second opinion on this one especially cause I've never seen a ganache made from choc, condensed milk and butter. The recipe looks reasonable but I don't know.

My peanut butter ice cream freezes too solid and doesn't scoop well, it is crumbly. I make other flavors with this basic recipe and they are perfect. I've tried adjusting the recipe by decreasing the amount of peanut butter and increasing the condensed milk and heavy cream but I'm afraid if i decrease the pb more, it will lose the flavor. so here's the recipe, as short as I can get it (it's also in metric, because I don't know imperial, sry in advance):
175g Creme Cheese 200ml Heavy or Whipping Cream (I used whipping cream) half a can of condensed milk (about 200g)
mix those together for the cream
then you dunk whatever cookies or biscuits you want into a bit of milk and lay them out in a dish
spread half of the cream ontop and repeat
for a chocolate ganache heat 50ml Heavy of Whipping Cream und melt dark chocolate in it spread on top and refrigerate
ok so I know that most of the sugar content comes from the condensed milk, I tried finding some condensed milk with less sugar in it, but to no avail, so now I want to know, does anybody know how to make this recipe taste just a bit less sweet? can I add something to balance the taste? I bought coconut condensed milk, thinking it would be less sweet, but when I looked at the can of my first attempt, it has basically the same amount of sugar, I also tried finding some heavy cream with less sugar, but they all have pretty much the same where I live (Austria) in my first 2 attempts I used Lotus cookies, which are like caramel biscuits you get served with coffee and then I used the Leibniz biscuits which are more bland but still sweet biscuits, thinking it would be less sweet, it was still pretty sweet though haha in the end it tasted really good both times, but it's still really really sweet...

About 12 hours ago I put a mixing can with quartered lemons, condensed milk and water in the fridge. I would not think anything bad would happen, but now the milk is floating (to say it like that) in the water. Can I still use and mix it?

Just made the Blueberry Streusel Ice Cream recipe from Sally’s Baking Addiction. Always love her recipes and they turn out great but for some reason I didn’t quit vibe w the mouthfeel of her Philly style recipe. I have a go to custard base recipe but wanted to be able to taste the blueberry more so decided to try Philly style.
The mouthfeel was way too rich and creamy. It didn’t feel like ice cream at all and more like whipped frozen butter. Could barely taste the blueberry or even finish 1 scoop.
The base ingredients are: 2 cups heavy cream 14 oz sweetened condensed milk Pinch of salt
Is this just personal preference or did I go wrong somewhere?
