Hey guys, I play on 2 different Xbox (depending on who does what where in the house).
Sometimes, when I install a mod and load the game on another console afterwards, the game will see that something is missing and offer me to download the mod automatically. But most of the time, it just ask me if I wanna be thrown in creation club to do it all by myself. If I forgot to bookmark something I have to take a picture of my mod list before playing on the 2nd one since it won't download for me.
It's not a problem really since I (usually) bookmark my mods but why doesn't it always download what is missing?
Why doesn't it use my Bethesda account to track my installed mod on Xbox?

Was just causally looking at the standings, I realized we had a scoring problem but goodness gracious. Our 13 goals scored in 14 regular season games is second worse only to New England who has 9 GF in 13 MP. The Revs however have a goal differential of (-17). The Dynamo on the other hand have a GD of (-2) as we’ve only allowed 15 goals on the season which is best in the West.
Injuries aside, it’s frankly amazing we have one of the best defenses in MLS and just absolutely no goal scoring threats at all. I’d harken it back to the good ole Dom Kinnear teams, super hard fought, well disciplined teams…but those teams had noteworthy goal scoring options.
I’m still supportive of Ben Olsen because you don’t have an elite defense by accident, but damn it would certainly be nice to hear what the team plans to do to get some balls in the back of the net.

So, I make around 750ml in my drip machine and the hot plate in it keeps the coffee hot all day.
I want to move to pour over, but I can't figure out how to keep my coffee hot. What do you guys do? Do you only make one cup of coffee at a time?
I want to make 700ml to 1000ml at a time and drink it throughout the day.

I've been working at the same front desk for over five years. We have a few regulars, and one has certain preferences: our best room, feather-free, and two sparkling waters on the house. This guest arrived unexpectedly last night, and when he showed up, before he said two words I had already blocked him into his preferred room. I paged the houseman to make the room feather-free, and I instructed my coworker to complete the check in while I rushed to the kitchen to bag his complimentary waters. When I returned, the guest was all set but he lingered in the lobby for a few minutes looking through his wallet. He walked to the ATM and handed me some bills as he thanked me before he headed to his room. He tipped me $100. I was ecstatic! I really needed the funds and would have never expected such a big tip. Just wanted to share because I feel like I reached peak front desk agent and it feels really good.

I tend to buy since it has such a cool signature and etc, even if it's something to grind, I am not expecting something more than $100, and what's happening now... I cannot understand at all.
With $450 I might be able to buy a lot of things for example:

- A decent gaming laptop.
- A graphic card like 3060 or 4060.
- A luxury gaming chair or table made me comfy.
- Several times of luxury meals and treats to friends make good relationships.
- All ultimate skins / tons of good quality legendary skins as collection.
- A lot of Good quality games on Steams.
Guys really worth it? Please don't buy this skin. Else it might possibly encourage any skin base price raising / or more locked content / expensive skin like Signature Ahri in the future.

There are many people in my life whom I feel are wonderful. I've been disappointed by all of them at some point. Maybe that's just life - nobody can perfectly meet everyone's expectations, including me.

Ok so get ready for a long one. My husband (36m) and I (32f) have been together for a little over 8 years and have 2 beautiful children (7f and 5m) together. Yeaaars ago my hubs got married to his first wife (him 18 att and her 24 att), it lasted less than a year but they had a kid together. For many reasons, he wasn't a part of my husband's life for a long time. The ex refused to let my husband see the kid, etc. Granted, at the time ny hubs was a stupid 20y/o alcoholic (now sober) fuckboy so he probably wouldn't have been a good father figure at the time anyway but that wasn't the reason she wouldn't let him see the kid. The reason was something like "if you are not with me, I'm going to punish you" kind of deal. Well, now they are back in our lives and (for context) before now I had seen the kid (I say the kid, not to be rude, but for anonymity) a handful of times and I could already tell, since he was a little boy, that something was a little off. The mom treats him (15m) like a 5 year old in every way and shape posible and he has a lot of personality/mental disorder signs. He has been agresive towards my children, we've caught him stealing, he lies for attention and other kinds of stuff.. Now, we are in the process of getting him properly diagnosed so we can all figure out how to handle the situation and how to help him and stuff but in the process, he (all of the sudden) came out as gay, then bi, then gay, etc. We don't care about that in our family but I'm telling you this for context. Anyway, he came out, and since then he has been asking my hubs really weird questions about sex and body parts, things that a boy his age should definitely know. Like where is the vagina, if boys menstruate too, what is an asshole, I mean, come on!! So it's getting to a point where obviously the mom is an idiot or something because it's unbelievable that a 15 year old boy doesn't know the most basic things and acts that way (plays with kid toys, doesn't have a single friend, is agresive toward his little siblings, etc) at that age and she hasn't gotten him diagnosed!!! In almost 16 years!! Of course he has dropped out of many schools, he has been bullied, and a lot more things that could have been avoided if she had acted at any point. So of course my hubs in inraged and has been talking about bringing him to live with us and I just can't help feeling absolutely terrified. I have 2 little kids and if I can't even trust him to be alone with them playing in the next room, how can I trust him to sleep under the same roof!?!?!? I've commented a few times in a few posts about my family's experience going through the F-1 to H-1B to GC route to migrate to the US and I've received a lot of questions over the DM, many of which I thought were pretty basic. I thought it might be helpful to put this primer together so folks know the right questions to ask and approach their planning more strategically.
This post is going to be very candid. I've noticed that the questions I've received come from misconceptions about higher education, F-1 visa, and what comes after graduation. I want to give folks the right information, but also temper expectations and give a realistic portrait of what it means and takes to use the student pathway to legally and permanently reside in the US. It is not a stroll in the park, and I don't want to give anyone the wrong idea.
Both my siblings are currently in the same pathway. One received their Bachelors last year, was hired before graduation and has recently received approval for her H-1B. Their employer has committed to sponsoring their employment-based green card next year. My other sibling received their MFA last year and is now in the process of getting their O-1, which is a different kind of work visa. Like me, they both came to the US with a student visa. We were all very strategic about the programs we chose and how we approached networking within our industries.
We also prepared for years. I knew I wanted to get my Masters and permanently reside in the US even before I finished college in Manila. My siblings also knew that early on. So as a family we planned for years, including preparing financially because we knew that we had a very slim chance of getting free rides for our planned degrees. Our early planning also helped with our professional decision-making, because we became very strategic about what kinds of jobs we took after graduation in Manila (except our youngest sibling, who did her Bachelors in the US, so her planning revolved around her academic career in high school). I would say from start (initial planning) to finish (with the last sibling also now on the way to permanent residency), it took about a decade.
The first question you should ask yourself: can you afford the student pathway to permanent residency in the US? Higher education in the US is not cheap. Universities very rarely offer full scholarships to Masters programs, and those that do are incredibly competitive. So you cannot depend on scholarships to help you pay for your degree--doing so will likely end in disappointment.
(PhDs are usually free and includes a living stipend, but the application process for PhDs are on a whole other level. I will not cover it here but I can answer any questions related to applying for PhDs.)
Most Masters programs in the US are two-year programs, and the average cost of a Masters degree is around $60,000 per year (source). That's $120,000--almost Php7,000,000--in two years. That is a lot of money. That does not include your cost of living, which depending on the location can vary. I personally spent around $1000 on living expenses every month (housing was through the school, so the cost of that was included in my tuition statement)--and that is living frugally in a very high cost of living city. That's an additional $12,000 per year. Of course, you can lower than number by living with family if that option is available to you.
So on average, you would need around Php4,200,000 per year for your Masters degree. Again, a lot of money. It goes without saying that the student pathway is a very expensive pathway to permanent residency in the US. Can it also be a quicker pathway than, say, being sponsored by a sibling? It can be, but that depends on how long it will take for you to save up for tuition.
What if you can make those numbers work? What else should you know?
I need to put this upfront: the F-1 student visa is a non-immigrant visa. Meaning that it is a visa meant for people who will enter the US on a temporary basis. This is why the student visa has no direct pathway or benefit to permanent residency in the US. You need to change status inside the US to one with immigrant intent or double intent to be able to be on that pathway or receive that benefit. That's where visas like the H-1B visa comes in.
You also cannot work outside of your school on an F-1 visa. During the school year, you are allowed to work part-time on campus, and during the summer you are allowed to work full-time on campus. Work outside of the school is only allowed if it's part of your curriculum (i.e. your program has a class for "onsite internship") and you are allowed to be paid while that opportunity is going on. You can do this part-time, but most legitimate universities will have limited opportunities for this (i.e. under your program you're only allowed to take credit for onsite internships one or two semesters). However, your eligibility to work full-time after getting your degree will be affected if you do this full-time for one year. If you want to jump from F-1 to H-1B, this is not something you want to do.
Your ability to bring dependents to the US on a student visa is also limited. You can only bring your spouse and unmarried children under 21. Dependents of F-1 visa holders are not allowed to work in the US (although children under 21 can go to school full-time). This means your spouse cannot work while in the United States, and that includes working remotely for a company in the Philippines.
The next step starts with you. I've received a good number of DMs asking me "Is Master of ABC the right course for me?" or "Will a Master of DEF get me a green card?" These are not the right questions to ask because they're not going to get you any good answers. Yes, we know the ultimate goal for taking your Masters in the US to get permanent residency. But the true purpose of getting a Masters in the US is to make you highly marketable and competitive to US employers that will be willing to sponsor your work visa and petition you for your permanent residency.
So you need to view this degree as a way to level yourself up professionally. I absolutely do not suggest getting a Masters degree in something "you already know"--the objective is not to coast while spending Php4,200,000 a year--but to be so much better at what you're already doing. Here's an example.
Of course, you should also take into consideration your limitations. For example, you can only go to school in San Diego because you can stay with relatives while you're studying. That means your research is location-limited to however far you think you can commute.
When this is properly done, it should lead you to a place where you have a shortlist of programs to apply to. Each program will have their own application and testing requirements, as well as their own deadlines, so make sure to keep track of that.
PRO TIP: while grades during college are an important part of your application, many graduate programs put a lot of weight on your personal statement and professional recommendation letters. This is why the first step on reflection is critical--it gives you a good direction from which to build your story, which you will need to convince admissions committees to accept you into their programs.
Now it's time to apply for your F-1 visa. Your university will provide you with the documentation you need from them (this is mainly the I-20 and your acceptance letter), but the bulk of the documentation you need to present to the visa officer will mostly come from you. Namely, because the F-1 is a non-immigrant visa, you need to show strong ties to the Philippines. This can take a variety of forms, and oftentimes your mileage may vary especially depending on the school you will be attending (i.e. there will be less scrutiny if you're going to Harvard as compared to a university that's not that known).
If you did not receive a scholarship with your acceptance, you also need to show that you are able to afford the first year of matriculation. So bank statements containing the total amount of tuition, as well as room and board, will be important (usually the I-20 that the university will issue you will include this amount).
At the interview, be polite and only answer the questions asked. Do not offer up information not asked by the visa officer. I suggest you have a ready answer if the visa officer asks you why this particular school and program, but you should have this answer already if you followed my advice about reflecting and researching before applying to programs :)
Visa is approved and on hand! What do I do while I wait to leave for the US?
Networking starts the moment you receive your passport with your F-1 visa. You absolutely cannot and should not waste a single minute of your active student visa, so this is the time you start telling people that you're going to be studying in the US. You need to work your current network and find peers and mentors who will be willing to connect you with colleagues they know who work in the US or have ties to the US in your professional field. Let's go back to Maria Clara as an example.
Other than to make sure you have high grades and you're setting aside time to build professional relationships, it's time to think outside the box. Remember that you are limited by the rules of the F-1 visa, so experiences such as an off-campus summer internship is off limits to you. You can use your research to really elevate your skills and experiences when applying for jobs.
It's also time to seriously start looking at potential employers. You can use the connections you've built to get a sense of what the professional landscape is for your field, learn about peoples' experiences at various companies and organizations, and get a feel for hiring processes. Remember, you don't have a lot of time to apply for jobs once you near the end of your program, so you have to be armed with the right information to guide your job hunting strategy. You will need to put yourself out there and be the best version of your professional self if you want employers to disregard that they will need to spend more money to hire you rather than a USC or LPR who doesn't need sponsorship.
The last semester is usually job hunting season, so make sure that resumé is polished and your network is activated. By now, if you've done the leg work, you will have a shortlist of potential employers and you will have made connections in most, if not all, of them. Time to check-in and ensure that they know you're interested in joining their company and you'd like their support and guidance in doing so. This is one of the harder parts of this journey, and you have to be relentless. Use all the resources at your disposal to ensure your resumé is seen by as many eyes as possible, and that includes speaking to your professors, especially your favorite ones, so they can also lend a hand.
More importantly: submit your work permit application (more commonly known as OPT) as early as possible to avoid delays and getting stuck in the USCIS backlog. You need this permit to be able to work after graduation for a limited time (one year for graduates of non-STEM programs, with an additional two years for graduates of STEM programs) without needing to immediately require H-1B sponsorship.
Getting employed by a company willing to sponsor you is not the end of the line. All for-profit companies are subject to the H-1B lottery, which means you will be competing with other internationals for the limited number of H-1B visas allotted every year. So even with an employer willing to sponsor, the H-1B visa is still not guaranteed. You can work around this by joining what is a called a cap-exempt organization instead, and USCIS classifies those as institutions of higher education, nonprofit entities related to or affiliated with an institution of higher education, nonprofit research organizations, and governmental research organizations. That means more research, and more targeted strategic networking, given that your employer pool now is limited.

This post is going to be very candid. I've noticed that the questions I've received come from misconceptions about higher education, F-1 visa, and what comes after graduation. I want to give folks the right information, but also temper expectations and give a realistic portrait of what it means and takes to use the student pathway to legally and permanently reside in the US. It is not a stroll in the park, and I don't want to give anyone the wrong idea.
BACKGROUND
Two of my siblings plus myself are all here in the US via the student visa route. I received my green card in 2021 after being in the US for nearly 4 years. After receiving my Masters at a prestigious university, I was hired immediately by an organization willing to sponsor my H-1B, which they did so after two years of employment under STEM-OPT work authorization. My employer started putting together my I-140 (Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker, which is the start of the process for an employment-based green card) shortly after receiving approval of my H-1B. As the paperwork was being put together, my partner and I decided to get married and I switched from employment-based green card to marriage-based green card. The employment-based green card would have added around a 3 year wait if we went through with it, while my marriage-based green card was approved in less than a year.Both my siblings are currently in the same pathway. One received their Bachelors last year, was hired before graduation and has recently received approval for her H-1B. Their employer has committed to sponsoring their employment-based green card next year. My other sibling received their MFA last year and is now in the process of getting their O-1, which is a different kind of work visa. Like me, they both came to the US with a student visa. We were all very strategic about the programs we chose and how we approached networking within our industries.
We also prepared for years. I knew I wanted to get my Masters and permanently reside in the US even before I finished college in Manila. My siblings also knew that early on. So as a family we planned for years, including preparing financially because we knew that we had a very slim chance of getting free rides for our planned degrees. Our early planning also helped with our professional decision-making, because we became very strategic about what kinds of jobs we took after graduation in Manila (except our youngest sibling, who did her Bachelors in the US, so her planning revolved around her academic career in high school). I would say from start (initial planning) to finish (with the last sibling also now on the way to permanent residency), it took about a decade.
GETTING STARTED
Is the student pathway the right pathway for you?The first question you should ask yourself: can you afford the student pathway to permanent residency in the US? Higher education in the US is not cheap. Universities very rarely offer full scholarships to Masters programs, and those that do are incredibly competitive. So you cannot depend on scholarships to help you pay for your degree--doing so will likely end in disappointment.
(PhDs are usually free and includes a living stipend, but the application process for PhDs are on a whole other level. I will not cover it here but I can answer any questions related to applying for PhDs.)
Most Masters programs in the US are two-year programs, and the average cost of a Masters degree is around $60,000 per year (source). That's $120,000--almost Php7,000,000--in two years. That is a lot of money. That does not include your cost of living, which depending on the location can vary. I personally spent around $1000 on living expenses every month (housing was through the school, so the cost of that was included in my tuition statement)--and that is living frugally in a very high cost of living city. That's an additional $12,000 per year. Of course, you can lower than number by living with family if that option is available to you.
So on average, you would need around Php4,200,000 per year for your Masters degree. Again, a lot of money. It goes without saying that the student pathway is a very expensive pathway to permanent residency in the US. Can it also be a quicker pathway than, say, being sponsored by a sibling? It can be, but that depends on how long it will take for you to save up for tuition.
What if you can make those numbers work? What else should you know?
I need to put this upfront: the F-1 student visa is a non-immigrant visa. Meaning that it is a visa meant for people who will enter the US on a temporary basis. This is why the student visa has no direct pathway or benefit to permanent residency in the US. You need to change status inside the US to one with immigrant intent or double intent to be able to be on that pathway or receive that benefit. That's where visas like the H-1B visa comes in.
You also cannot work outside of your school on an F-1 visa. During the school year, you are allowed to work part-time on campus, and during the summer you are allowed to work full-time on campus. Work outside of the school is only allowed if it's part of your curriculum (i.e. your program has a class for "onsite internship") and you are allowed to be paid while that opportunity is going on. You can do this part-time, but most legitimate universities will have limited opportunities for this (i.e. under your program you're only allowed to take credit for onsite internships one or two semesters). However, your eligibility to work full-time after getting your degree will be affected if you do this full-time for one year. If you want to jump from F-1 to H-1B, this is not something you want to do.
Your ability to bring dependents to the US on a student visa is also limited. You can only bring your spouse and unmarried children under 21. Dependents of F-1 visa holders are not allowed to work in the US (although children under 21 can go to school full-time). This means your spouse cannot work while in the United States, and that includes working remotely for a company in the Philippines.
APPLYING TO PROGRAMS
The student visa still seems like my best option. What's next?The next step starts with you. I've received a good number of DMs asking me "Is Master of ABC the right course for me?" or "Will a Master of DEF get me a green card?" These are not the right questions to ask because they're not going to get you any good answers. Yes, we know the ultimate goal for taking your Masters in the US to get permanent residency. But the true purpose of getting a Masters in the US is to make you highly marketable and competitive to US employers that will be willing to sponsor your work visa and petition you for your permanent residency.
So you need to view this degree as a way to level yourself up professionally. I absolutely do not suggest getting a Masters degree in something "you already know"--the objective is not to coast while spending Php4,200,000 a year--but to be so much better at what you're already doing. Here's an example.
Maria Clara graduated from Accounting at a good university in Manila and now has around 2 years of experience as a CPA at the finance and accounting department at a multinational corporation based in Makati. She wants to get her permanent residency to the US via the student pathway and has done a significant amount of research on possible Masters programs and career paths in accounting in the US. She started reading into forensic accounting and realized how interested she is in various aspects of this career path. After looking through universities and programs, she has put SUNY Albany's MS in Forensic Science at the top of her list for a variety of reasons. One, it meets the education requirements for certified public accountant licensure in the state of New York. Two, even without a scholarship of financial aid, the costs for international students is not exorbitant at $23,000/Php1,320,000 for the year-long program--with some frugal living and help from relatives in the US, she can save that amount in 3-4 years. Three, New York is the center of global commerce--all the biggest companies and their accounting firms are either headquartered or have large offices in New York City, so she has a wide swath of employment options. Now she just has to get her ducks in a row and make sure her Bachelors meets the requirements for application, as well as put together a shortlist of other programs she should apply and create a timeline for herself and the milestones that need to be hit to make this dream a reality.Bottomline is, your starting point in this entire process is reflection and research. You need to reflect on your own professional experience and skills, as well as your interests. You need to figure out which pathway will give you that professional and technical boost and do your research on available programs at reputable universities, what the job market looks like for your target profession, which companies are known to hire in this space.
Of course, you should also take into consideration your limitations. For example, you can only go to school in San Diego because you can stay with relatives while you're studying. That means your research is location-limited to however far you think you can commute.
When this is properly done, it should lead you to a place where you have a shortlist of programs to apply to. Each program will have their own application and testing requirements, as well as their own deadlines, so make sure to keep track of that.
PRO TIP: while grades during college are an important part of your application, many graduate programs put a lot of weight on your personal statement and professional recommendation letters. This is why the first step on reflection is critical--it gives you a good direction from which to build your story, which you will need to convince admissions committees to accept you into their programs.
ACCEPTANCE
I got into one of my top programs and I have my finances in order! What happens now?Now it's time to apply for your F-1 visa. Your university will provide you with the documentation you need from them (this is mainly the I-20 and your acceptance letter), but the bulk of the documentation you need to present to the visa officer will mostly come from you. Namely, because the F-1 is a non-immigrant visa, you need to show strong ties to the Philippines. This can take a variety of forms, and oftentimes your mileage may vary especially depending on the school you will be attending (i.e. there will be less scrutiny if you're going to Harvard as compared to a university that's not that known).
If you did not receive a scholarship with your acceptance, you also need to show that you are able to afford the first year of matriculation. So bank statements containing the total amount of tuition, as well as room and board, will be important (usually the I-20 that the university will issue you will include this amount).
At the interview, be polite and only answer the questions asked. Do not offer up information not asked by the visa officer. I suggest you have a ready answer if the visa officer asks you why this particular school and program, but you should have this answer already if you followed my advice about reflecting and researching before applying to programs :)
Visa is approved and on hand! What do I do while I wait to leave for the US?
Networking starts the moment you receive your passport with your F-1 visa. You absolutely cannot and should not waste a single minute of your active student visa, so this is the time you start telling people that you're going to be studying in the US. You need to work your current network and find peers and mentors who will be willing to connect you with colleagues they know who work in the US or have ties to the US in your professional field. Let's go back to Maria Clara as an example.
Finally, after years of hard work, Maria Clara has her desired acceptance into SUNY's MS in Forensic Accounting program, and her F-1 visa was approved by the embassy without any issues. After celebrating with her family, she lets her boss know about her visa approval, who has been one of her most ardent cheerleaders during this entire process. Her boss has also offered to introduce her to their counterparts in the US once she got her visa approved, which is really important to Maria Clara--she knows she needs to get ahead of networking professionally since her time in the US is limited. She has also reached out to other people she knows in the company that engage frequently with teams in the US. She's messaged her college professors as well, as she knows that a number of alumni from her college have migrated to the US. Her plan is to get connected with as many professionals in her field as possible, connect with them in person once she's in the US, and build a rapport with as many connections as possible so she can be guided accordingly and stand out when the time to apply for jobs comes.Remember that unlike US citizens (USC) and legal permanent residents (LPR), your time in the US is limited and bound by the rules set by your visa. So you have to be creative and get ahead in some way. You need to be more prepared and more strategic than USCs and LPRs because you simply do not have the time to dilly dally. Yes, enjoy and savor in the moment of seeing the fruits of your labor, but the hard part begins now. You simply do not have time to waste.
DURING THE PROGRAM
I'm in the US now and working harder than ever! Plus, there is the luck element of the H-1B lottery. But it's not impossible. It can and does happen--my family is a great example of it (we're 3 for 3 in this pathway now). Your preparation and willingness to go the extra mile is critical, and you have to be ready to grind for a while. Today I had to do the most awful thing and take my old girl cat to be put to sleep. I was never a cat person before she showed up but she converted me, she was always sweet and friendly, even though she was already old and on her way out. I probably kept her around for longer than I should've just because of how great of a friend she was. But she quit eating and drinking and didn't want to move, so I knew it was time. She was friendly to the vet, to everyone all the way to the end, no matter what is going on or how sick she is, she will always lean her little head on your hand, it was the cutest thing, she loved people. Cat haters like to say that cats hate people but she clearly adored humans, at least as much as any dog. I wish I had met her years ago. Whoever left her out there old and alone before she found me had to have been so heartless.
A few weeks ago, another cat showed up on my property, a little fluffy one with boogers all over his face. I took him in and they gave me antibiotics for him, but they didn't work. They are still waiting on the other results if there's anything else going on as far as fungal infections or something like that.
I'm so scared I'm going to lose him, too! He is so adorable and funny. I already say he's my son, I have two human daughters and they have no problem with it haha, they don't like that I have named their adopted brother Booger though. My canine daughter is cool with him too. So I'm hoping to hear some stories of your kittens who were sick like this and got better. If that's allowed. Thanks!

I make anime and comic style drawings and I've been outlining with Molotow blackliners for a good time. They sell ink refills and I can get a few refills before the felt tips wear out and I have to buy a new pack, but they're pretty cheap at 25 euro the whole set and if I wear out the ones I use the most, they sell smaller 3-4 packet sets for €10, bundles of specific sizes like six 0.1mm for €10 as well, and even individual fineliners for €2, so economically these are a pretty good deal where I live. I also like the line consistency of felt tips compared to rapidographs, isographs, fountain pens and other ink pens where the ink is too watery and you need to use a certain speed for consistency, with fineliners there's not a lot of bleed and lines are very consistent at any angle you use them.
Here's where I think dip pens win though, not only I can use multiple outlining inks, matte, glossy, different consistencies for outlining and calligraphy which I want to get into, but also different colour inks which you can't use with fineliners you'd have to resort to gel pens for colour outlining, or a brush and a steady pulse. It also seems like the fine maru nibs and a few others can get the finest lines of anything I've seen, even compared to technical pens and 0.05 liners, and I like that kind of precision. I don't know if it saves you time as I've heard some people say because I don't think I'll be able to dip and ink at the speed I can do with a liner. Most importantly for me, is I can use guache and painting strokes and a range of things all with one tool.
My only question is, do these nibs last a significant amount of time compared to liners? Because everywhere I've looked they're very expensive, like €7 for 3-4 nibs, and rarely I find a set with multiple sizes. Regardless of amount of use, I'd like to think metal wears out less than a felt tip being a stronger material but I seen people write online about how quickly their nibs wear out, sometimes only lasting days.

I guess the more sharp ones wear out faster, but those are the ones I'm interested in the most because the thicker ones I can do with a marker, a brush, less precise tools.
I haven't seen g-nibs or maru nibs being sold in bulk, even off brand ones on eBay or AliExpress, and the brand ones like Nikko or Tachikawa are very expensive. For the price of these I could buy liners for literal years and gel pens if I want colored outlining.
So anyone here can tell me if I'm either looking in the wrong places or this is just an expensive way of inking?
I read in another post that glass tips don't wear out on paper, but I don't think I'd get used to the grip or feel of a glass dip pen, and they don't get fine detail as fine as metal nibs.

I’ve seen a few posts discussing the difficulty of trading in the low IV environment. While I totally understand the perspective, I want to offer a few thoughts to those traders.
First, VIX is regularly sub $15, over 30% of the time from origin in 1990. What we’re seeing now is nothing novel. Even VIX below $12 occurs around 10% of the time.
More importantly, if you’re struggling to find trades now it highlights a massive gap in your trading approach and a huge opportunity to better develop your skillset. There are still plenty of short vol opportunities, they simply look different: -Earnings plays -Economic releases -Anything inflation related -Phase trial releases -M&A news -IPOs (which have also been slow) -Boeing when the next piece of news hits and yet another passenger gets sucked out a faulty window and the subsequent whistle blower “dies of natural causes” three times in a row -Comodity production cycles -Etc
While there are lots of volatility specific opportunities, I’d encourage these traders to go one step further and explore some directional trading. This year has offered incredible opportunities to trade the rotation of sectors from Tech, to Materials, Energy, and Utilities. I’ve traded many of these and individual companies within these sectors via things like ratio call diagonals. Cool enough, it looks like we’re starting to rotate back into tech as inflation continues to remain sticky and the rate cut prospects continue sliding out in time.
Other ideas working well this year: pairs trading sectors and the finally normalizing bond/market relationship, metals, etc.
This year, like most continues to offer plenty of opportunities. It’s our job as traders not to complain we don’t get what we want but to see what the market is doing and find how we can capitalize on it.

More importantly, if you’re struggling to find trades now it highlights a massive gap in your trading approach and a huge opportunity to better develop your skillset. There are still plenty of short vol opportunities, they simply look different: -Earnings plays -Economic releases -Anything inflation related -Phase trial releases -M&A news -IPOs (which have also been slow) -Boeing when the next piece of news hits and yet another passenger gets sucked out a faulty window and the subsequent whistle blower “dies of natural causes” three times in a row -Comodity production cycles -Etc
While there are lots of volatility specific opportunities, I’d encourage these traders to go one step further and explore some directional trading. This year has offered incredible opportunities to trade the rotation of sectors from Tech, to Materials, Energy, and Utilities. I’ve traded many of these and individual companies within these sectors via things like ratio call diagonals. Cool enough, it looks like we’re starting to rotate back into tech as inflation continues to remain sticky and the rate cut prospects continue sliding out in time.
Other ideas working well this year: pairs trading sectors and the finally normalizing bond/market relationship, metals, etc.
This year, like most continues to offer plenty of opportunities. It’s our job as traders not to complain we don’t get what we want but to see what the market is doing and find how we can capitalize on it.

I’m wondering if anyone else notices this in their own experience. Everytime I leave a group - the group disbands. I’ve been in a couple church groups where there were some very bad people.
In one situation I would say a narcissist was involved. I clocked jt very early on but wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt and I also was going to the group be able to see my friends more often. I called him out personally for some very bad behavior and then left. My thing is I always leave gracefully. I don’t want to ruin experiences for other people and I genuinely notice if I have ever warned people., they usually don’t listen. After I left, the group ended within a month. This again happened with a therapy group I was part of. I ended up leaving after the therapist turned abusive. Everyone in the group told me I was “crazy” and I was heavily gaslit. A year later I got a call from one of the girls who said “you’re right! We’re all going to suing him would you like to be involved?!”
Most recently was another church group. Stories the leader was telling wasn’t adding up. The awkward part was my best friend had invited me to this church and she knew the leaders of the church group. So I ended up staying bc I wanted to see her one more night a week. This guy and his wife bugged me so much. Me and my best friend ended up breaking up (over a totally different issue) again, I left gracefully and had one conversation with another friend from the group where I just validated her concern but didn’t share my side of things. The group has now disbanded.

Okay so anyone who has done self improvement knows how difficult it can be I separate into 2 categories
Internal vs external work
SR highlights both
Typically if your fapping and losing sexual energy you can do external work and scape by without doing any internal work simply because your not holding onto energy To hold onto your life force takes lots of discipline when it comes to regulating your internal state instead of draining it
So this is the catalyst you will know your issues what needs to be fixed internally and externally this can be great but life doesn’t always work in a fluid manner to where you can instantly make the necessary changes Yes SR speeds the process up but it can also create massive suffering simply because you may not be able to make that change as quickly as you’d like
For example if you experienced a lot of pain at once you naturally are going to want to cope in some way and that can be a feasible strategy to stifle your energy so you don’t have to do the internal/shadow work at this time For anyone who has every gone emotionally numb you understand what I’m describing here The trauma or pain can be so dramatic and life can be so bad that numbing yourself in minor ways to avoid that shadow work could be a potential strategy so you don’t have to face it all at once
Vs if you retain you will feel all that pain at once because your energy is so clean your holding onto your life force You will suffer greatly because your not numbing your experience I believe this is the better strategy but it is much harder journey
And in my opinion that is the bitch of retention but also its greatest blessing because if you don’t numb yourself you will feel the blunt force of life but it will pass through your spirit much quicker
But a potential strategy is to numb yourself a bit if the trauma and pain is very dramatic I’m not saying fap
But I notice on hard days I might fast for less hours in that day and eat more which makes me tired and makes my energy less clear which could help to numb out some of life’s pain because it’s really hard rn I’m probably at my lowest in awhile it’s because I’m making good changes but life is still very hard
I’m lean and typically do omad always sub 12% body fat I’ve been retaining for years now rn currently at day 57
I’m saying play your edge push your limit take as much pain as you can with a clean spirit but if life gets very hard don’t go over your edge just stifle your energy a bit and do the shadow work in a couple days or a week or 2
If after work you eat a bit more then you typically would to stifle the energy a bit that’s okay but only if you are at your edge Stifling energy a bit by distractions or eating a bit Less clean is better then relapsing
I’ve noticed if I’m forced to be around low vibrational people I might eat before I interact with them because if I’m in a pure fasted state they will feel that I feel all of their energy and that they cannot hide because my aura is way to pure
So some strategies for playing the edge dealing with toxic people and waiting because you cannot make all the changes you need to make because of other life factors
I’m not saying self sabotage or fap When I stifle my energy it’s by eating another meal then I typically would and the food is still relatively healthy Or watch a movie after work because your waiting for a certain situation to pass
I still workout fast do cold showers and mediate
That’s a problem I’ve noticed with retention is that your just so damn engaged you know all your problems and how to fix them but strategy and timing is important And if you just have absolutely pure energy everyday all the time you could get pissed off at other people or life situations which is good to have that drive but if taken to far could backfire on you as it has on me in the past so I’m not saying lower yourself be who you are and stand in your power just be aware that this is a valuable potential strategy
The ideal situations is you have pure energy all the time life starts to align because synchronicities will happen new levels have new devils you suffer you make the changes without stifling energy you stand up for yourself everytime and continue to level up
But I feel that is somewhat hard to embody in practice I’m one guy with one perspective so if you can go a year without issues more power to you but for me personally playing my edge is the thing to do and works the best for me long term because if I get arrogant and on my high horse I start to have issues becoming super judgemental of others because you see demons when you have a clean spirit and that can cause self righteousness which itself is a trap so lowkey backing off have a super super pure aura when interacting with toxic people who are in your way then when the time is right to make the change jump at the opportunity to move onto better things
Again I’ve been practicing this since 16 I turn 20 this weekend
And I know this post seems a big negative and I know it somewhat is but it’s just a warning / potential strategy because like I said if you go on 3+ months streaks out here consistently with a clean aura I promise you will get attacked and repel People just remember though that repelling is good because it’s taking you where you need to go to match your high vibration but that’s scary because it could mean complete restructuring your life like me basically losing all your family
If your just doing it for the female attraction or some surface level reason and keep your streaks under a month you should be fine but if you get into longer streaks your going to start to trigger people with your clean energy especially if your intention is to grow and become a better person legit your light will irritate their demons
I believe retention on longer streaks makes you more in tune with energies and life which helps build faith and gets rid of fear a more spiritual component on longer streaks and then synchronicities happen which only Proves this to a further extent which makes life feel more trippy good luck as well

i want to start this off that i’m female in high school and i did so many dumb choices during this school year. i have strict parents and during march of this year, i became super rebellious. Anyways ill get to the point: I sent nudes to this guy that love bombed me and i fell for it like an idiot. thing is, this happened during march prior to my stage of rebellion. i need to know an honest answer of the chances of me being leaked. no sugar coating or anything but i want your guys opinion. so for some context, the guy sent me pics of himself with half of his face in it, so anybody in the school would be able to tell that it’s him. due to him sending me these, i thought to myself that he was trustworthy and i sent him my chest and lower part, but without my face in it. a month later, this random guy (who wasn’t the dude i sent nudes to) told my friend that he saw them, and i freaked out. i demanded that my friend ask the random guy to send him the nudes of me that he claims he saw, but he ended up not sending it and said that the guy that love bombed me (the one i sent it to), showed him it but never sent it to him. Therefore, the random guy never sent it to my friend. He did tell my friend though that if he ever gets the picture that he claims he saw he will send it to my friend. I was furious, and confronted the dude that love bombed me. he told me that he never sent anybody my nudes or showed anyone but i knew for a fact it had to be him—i never sent nudes to anybody else but him. i told him that and he gaslighted me and kept denying ever showing anyone. i forgot to mention this IMPORTANT detail but; when i sent the nudes i sent it on snapchat. he screenshotted it once when we were on ft but then he screenshotted and showed me that he deleted the “accidental” screenshot , showing him deleting it on his gallery and on the recently deleted. but i’m still not sure if maybe there was a chance..
it’s now May and i’m still paranoid about this. nobody else has mentioned my nudes but i still get terrible anxiety of the chances of me being leaked. There have been days where I was able to do what I planned, even though the situations didn't go in my favour, i did my best. And i felt very good about myself. But I am not so consistent with this. We may think of what others think about us, but we can never really know how some others think, if we are concerned as what happens in our mind and in reality only that's in our hands, when I realised the way I feel is completely my responsibility, i stopped complaining about others.
