Establishing the Animator vs Animation Cosmology

2024.06.02 01:24 ARandomAccount246 Establishing the Animator vs Animation Cosmology

Yes, it's there, and it's unironically bigger than I'd ever expect it to be. It feels kinda weird introducing myself to this sub this way, but I just couldn't come up with a good MU to start off with, and I really wanted to get this out of the way, so let's get started!

Debunking 2D claims:

So...this is the most common argument against verse's scaling that I have to tackle right out of the gate.
Some people claim that AvA caps at 2D due to the characters existing inside a computer. However, this argument doesn't work because it ignores the fact that if they were truly 2D beings, they would not be able to interact with other verses like Mario, Pokemon, Minecraft, League of Legends, Kirby, and many, many more.
All of these aforementioned verses are at least 3D, even without taking into consideration their own cosmologies.
So with that out of the way, let's get to the actual interesting part.

The Internet is possibly a multiverse:

When I looked deep into this, I found something that has some intriguing info about how the universe of Animator vs Animation works.
Basically, The Dark Lord's computer identifies the websites he was going to invade as "dimensions" and "subspaces".
I originally didn't want to take this at face value, given how there's nothing i've seen that gives theses said websites an actual official size. However, something that should be taken note of is that these dimensions aren't accessible through normal means.
Stick Figures that live in the Outernet can only ever enter the websites by going through what looks like some kind of wormhole, (aka a connection between seperated space-times) that is more thoroughly explained here.
This applies to computers as well, since we get the same "wormhole" depiction when TCO travels to Alan's PC.
If you already live inside a computer (like the main gang) than you can access the websites pretty easily (I mean how else would Animation vs YouTube have happened?) but you still can't access other computers without taking either a portal or mailing yourself.
So at the end of the day, what is actually the purpose of me pointing all of this stuff out? Well, it's pretty simple: It's evidence that the entire Internet shown in AvA is likely, essentially, it's own multiverse, with each computer and website being their own respective universes due to how they work.
Of course, this is all mostly speculation, we still don't have anything that can actually set a confirmed size for all of them outside of the fact they are obviously way bigger than the figures who enter them, but it's shown to work this way so much that I just couldn't make this post without throwing out this info.

Minecraft:

This should be easier to go over so let's get the basic stuff out of the way, we know that minecraft worlds are high universal due to having infinite size, and that the overworld is obviously it's own space-time continuum, which would be universal+.
Every world has at least 3 separate dimensions: The Overworld, Nether, and The End, and this is just the standard case for "canon" Minecraft cosmology.
AvM adds a little bit more to this:
The Monster School world is likely a separate universe due to the events of it not lining up with the events that happened in every other world. For Example: The time changing during Herobrine's 1st lesson did not affect the time in every other place during AvM Season 3, despite the fact that time in the overworld is always the same regardless of your location, implying they aren't part of the same space-time continuum.
The Note Block Universe is most definitely another dimension altogether though, because it's literally called a universe in the video title, and it's uniquely, fundamentally different from every other world because it's the only place where EVERY mob can both fly and sing.
You can argue that every single world seen after AvM 25 are different universes, but excluding the Monster School and Note Block Universe I don't see why they can't be interpreted as just different locations in the overworld, infinite space gives you a lot of room after all.

Animation vs Education:

The Universe in AvPhysics: It's at least 5D due to TSC entering Anti-De Sitter space which is directly called 5-Dimensional on screen. TSC was also given a 6D object.
The Math Dimension: High Hyperversal due to Euler making an ♾️D portal, as well as there being sentient Aleph sets.
I've heard arguments for both of these being higher, but I don't remember what they are and imo only Euler and Aleph can scale to them.

Regarding what's canon and what isn't:

Some people apparently have some misconceptions that these are all different timelines or that one isn't canon to another.
I can go ahead and point out that this isn't true for AvA and AvM, and Purple's existence in AvLOL alone proves that all the other episodes not apart of the 2 main series' are still canon.
As for AvE, it's still ambiguous on where it's placement is supposed to be for the main series, some interpret it as a dream, some assume that it's non-canon, and some do think it's 100% canon.
There's nothing so far that actually confirms when the events of those videos actually happened, if at all, but luckily enough I did find at least something interesting that tilts in my favor.
During episode 33 of AvM, we see Green BFR a cow to space.
I don't know for sure though so I won't come to a conclusion on this part.

So....with all that said, who actually scales to this?:

Conclusion:

Hope ya'll enjoyed reading this and if there's any errors I need to fix then please point them out. Thanks!

How can I control two 12v fans using an Arduino?
Hey guys, I've recently gotten into electronics as a hobby. I'm playing around with Arduinos at the moment and have tried to replicate the circuit in the schematic. For context - I have a 12 volt DC brushless fan and I'm controlling how long the fan stays on/off.
I'm doing this by following the schematic below:
Figure 1 - schematic
This is what my circuit looks like:
Figure 2 - my circuit setup
Figure 3 - the fan im using
Some points to note - I've got the Arduino board connected to my laptop's usb port. im using a 9v battery to power the fan and i'm using a 220 ohm resistor.
When everything's connected it up, the circuit works perfectly with the code. Which is great, but I dont really understand what's going on! My main question is - what changes will I need to make to the circuit to add a second fan? my approach would be to replicate the exact circuit I have, but on the other side of the breadboard and connect them to different PWM pins so I can control them both. Is this a good approach.
Thinking of improvements has also got me thinking about the following things, if anyone could share an insight, id love to hear:
  • Im using a 220 ohm resistor because thats all I have. How should I know exactly what value resistor to use? ohms law is R=V/I, but I dont know what values to plug in for voltage and current?
  • Im using a 9v battery, but the fan says 12v. So is this safe? Should I be using those big power supply unit (e.g. example PSU), or is that overkill for this?
  • I want to scale this and add a second fan. I would do this by
  • The schematic uses a diode. I haven't used one in my circuit, but everything works fine. When would a diode be required?
  • Any other thoughts on the circuit I have and advice on adding a second fan to this?

2024.06.01 15:05 WhovianTrekkie_6366 My Star Trek Ranking Part 2: 900-876

Hello; really loved the interaction with my first post, so thanks so much for that! I'll just reiterate: spoilers for all Star Trek, and everything is just my opinion.
900) Unnatural Selection (1989)
TNG 2x7
Writer: John Mason & Mike Gray
Director: Paul Lynch
We've seen this idea done before and better. Yeah, it's a little bit different this time: it centres around children genetically engineered to be free of disease (isn't that illegal in the Federation?). But the actual plot of the episode is little different from TOS' The Deadly Years, with Doctor Pulaski aging and trying to find a cure for the condition. An uninspired repeat of a TOS episode that wasn't even that good in the first place.
899) We'll Always Have Paris (1988)
TNG 1x23
Writer: Deborah Dean Davis & Hannah Louise Shearer
Director: Robert Becker
Bored me stiff. I'm not always a huge fan of time travel stuff in general, and this is one of the least dynamic uses of that story type I've ever seen. Picard also has some weak character development, in his reminiscence about the girlfriend he left behind to join Starfleet, after he runs into her in this episode. The resolution with Data is fine, though, and I do like that they used him, as somebody less affected by the Maddox Effect, to solve the problem. Functional, just really dull.
898) Angel One (1988)
TNG 1x13
Writer: Patrick Barry
Director: Michael Rhodes
I will say that, as a teenage boy and as a young man now, this episode did give me empathy for what women go through in real life: being dismissed as weak and soft and barred from meaningful work. Beyond that, however, this episode really says nothing. It feels like it wants to be a deep and compelling exploration of gender roles, but apart from that feeling of empathy it gave me it doesn't accomplish anything of the kind. It's just a rote story about an oppressed section of society trying to combat their oppressors, and Riker saves the dissidents from being executed with a dull speech.
897) Silicon Avatar (1991)
TNG 5x4
Writer: Jeri Taylor, story by Lawrence V Conley
Director: Cliff Bole
Oh, just what I always wanted: the return of the Crystalline Entity from Datalore! Most anticipated villain return ever! But seriously, this could have been an interesting episode exploring a decent creature, but all that ends up happening is the Enterprise chasing the Crystalline Entity while Data has conversations with the mother of one of the victims of its attack on his colony. I will say that her hatred of Data got some genuine emotion out of me, as I raise my hackles against anyone who dares attack that loveable android, and seeing her come round to him was reasonably satisfying. But I still wasn't intrigued by their conversations, or the story of her seeking revenge for her son's death. The actual murder of the Crystalline Entity was done with a decent weight, but the episode takes forever to get there, through a slog of boring conversations and virtually no emotional investment for me.
896) The Outrageous Okona (1988)
TNG 2x4
Writer: Burton Armus, story by Les Menchen, Lance Dickson & David Landsberg
Director: Robert Becker
An aimless, artless story of a rogue caught between two fathers hounding him for his misdeeds. I don't find Okona amusing or charming, so his heavy presence in the episode doesn't do anything for me, and the story surrounding him is weak too. Data's stand-up comedy stuff is quite funny; Brent Spiner plays it brilliantly. I particularly enjoy the scene where he's trying out his act on Guinan, and it's just so bad. Also love Whoopi Goldberg's delivery of 'No' after Data asks her if his act was good. But this B-plot has only a flimsy connection to the main story, and therefore its presence leaves the end product feeling messy as well as weak.
895) Bounty (2003)
ENT 2x25
Writer: Hans Tobeason, Mike Sussman & Phyllis Strong, story by Rick Berman & Brannon Braga
Director: Roxann Dawson
An A-plot and B-plot that are both very bad. The story of Archer getting kidnapped by a bounty hunter is rote and uninspired, and definitely feels like it was one of the last ideas the writers came up with for the season. They were just filling time with a poor sequel to the earlier episode Judgement. His interactions with the Tellarite do not interest me at all, and I do not care about the Tellarite's lost ship. The B-plot with T'Pol prematurely going through the Pon Farr sees some of the worst sexualisation of the character, plus some cringey dialogue between her and Phlox. Archer's ending escape from the Klingons, with the Tellarite's secret help, is solid, though.
894) The Omega Glory (1968)
TOS 2x23
Writer: Gene Roddenberry
Director: Vincent McEveety
Goes from mundane to insane. For much of its runtime I would give this my label of dull but functional: there's a rogue Starfleet Captain trying to discover the secret to eternal youth on a pre-warp planet, and there's a lot of fighting with some of the savage natives. It's all very boring... until the last quarter.
It gets revealed that this is (yet another) TOS Season 2 Earth parallel, with the savages representing the US and the village people the Communists. There is no explanation given for how the aliens ended up with all the exact paraphernalia of that time on Earth, from the US flag to the American Constitution; it's all just ludicrous.
The crowning weirdness of the episode is Kirk's lauding of the American Constitution as the greatest thing ever invented. Now, I don't just not like this because I'm English; I would feel the same if the British (unwritten) Constitution was being lauded like this. I consider myself a pretty patriotic person, and I believe that every country has equal reason to celebrate themselves, but I feel it is utterly inappropriate in Star Trek for any one country or group to be held up as the ultimate shining example of civilisation. This is because Trek is meant to represent a future where everybody's come together under one banner. There's a lot to praise about the American Constitution, but it's inappropriate for it to be held up as the 'One True Way', if you will. Kirk's final admiring look at the US flag is so cringeworthily saccharine. So, yeah, this episode is boring for most of its runtime, and it certainly isn't in the end... it's much worse.
893) The Muse (1996)
DS9 4x21
Writer: Rene Echevarria, story by Rene Echevarria & Majel Barrett-Roddenberry
Director: David Livingston
The DS9 Lwaxana Troi episodes are largely not a good time, and this is the absolute worst of them. The story of her pregnancy feels so hammy and forced, and the drama with her and Odo doesn't interest me at all. She also doesn't feel like she has much of a presence in the episode, which is shocking given how she came on so wonderfully strong in TNG. The other plotline with Jake is also uninteresting. It's at least not as bad as the Lwaxana storyline, but it's still so very uninspired (you see what I did there?). Annoyingly our last Lwaxana appearance; they really should have stopped her episodes after TNG's Dark Page; that was the perfect ending for her character.
892) When the Bough Breaks (1988)
TNG 1x16
Writer: Hannah Louise Shearer
Director: Kim Manners
Gene Roddenberry did like his kiddie episodes, didn't he? The idea of 'Atlantis-but-a-planet' is interesting, but the episode wastes the concept on a tiresome kidnapping story. The kids are fine I guess, but I'd also rather not be watching them. Wesley feels kinda out-of-place among them, to be honest, considering how noticeably older he is. I will say that Picard's reaction to the abduction: 'You have just committed an act of utter barbarity!' is a superb bit of acting from Stewart, but other than that there's nothing else I'll praise about this outing.
891) Pen Pals (1989)
TNG 2x15
Writer: Melinda M Snodgrass, story by Hannah Louise Shearer
Director: Winrich Kolbe
This always feels like a short to me, despite its forty-five minute length. No time is spent building up Data and the alien kid's relationship; we just see the kid's first communication, then jump into Data confessing to Picard he's been in contact with a pre-warp individual. So I have no investment in this relationship, which is a shame because Data-plus-kid had the potential to be really sweet. They just didn't put the legwork into it. The resolution is fine.
890) Unforgettable (1998)
VOY 4x22
Writer: Greg Elliot & Michael Perricone
Director: Andrew Robinson
Got to be the most ironic title in Trek history, since this episode is extremely forgettable. It's also mind-numbingly boring: Trek does not have a good track record with single-episode romances, and this has got to be one of the worst. I feel zero connection to the guest character and zero investment in her relationship with Chakotay. The idea of a species that you forget after they've been gone for a while is intriguing, but it is wasted on this insipid romance. This was one of the longest forty-five minutes I've ever sat through.
889) Transfigurations (1990)
TNG 3x25
Writer: Rene Echevarria
Director: Tom Benko
Speaking of dull one-episode romances, here's another one. The idea of a species going through a butterfly-like transformation, that is feared and suppressed by the authorities, is again intriguing. It reminds me of the Jon Pertwee Doctor Who story The Mutants, if anyone's watched that, except it's done less well. Again, the good concept is wasted on a boring romance, this time between Beverly and her patient. This is another one that feels much longer than forty-five minutes.
888) Bread and Circuses (1968)
TOS 2x25
Writer: Gene Roddenberry & Gene L Coon
Director: Ralph Senensky
At this point in TOS Season 2, I just thought: 'Really, Mr Roddenberry? Another Earth parallel? I know you like them, but this is getting ridiculous!' Not only is this a tired repeat of an already done idea, but no explanation is given for why this planet parallels the Roman Empire. In A Piece of the Action and Patterns of Force clever reasons were given, but in this it's just presented as a weird fact. That doesn't fly with me.
And even if they had come up with another clever explanation, they have done this idea, which I don't like very much anyway, way too many times this season. I did have some minor interest in the concept of a Rome that never fell, but not enough to sustain me for fifty minutes. Boring and uninspired to the highest degree. I will say there's one really great scene between Spock and Bones in a prison cell, though, when Bones confronts Spock about how he keeps all his emotions carefully concealed.
887) How Sharper Than a Serpent's Tooth (1974)
TAS 2x5
Writer: Russell Bates & David Wise
Director: Bill Reed
Similar to Who Mourns for Adonais?, in that it gives us an omnipotent alien, who was once worshipped as a God on Earth, and has returned to take charge of his wayward children, only to ultimately discover they don't need him anymore. This is a much weaker version of that story, however, with a less sympathetic godlike character and less runtime to flesh out the idea.
The episode also takes a weird swerve halfway through, from the setting of Kukulkan's city (a nice location, I must say) to his zoo, which I find much less appealing. This episode had an idea, but it wasn't quite sure how to tell the story. Kukulkan genuinely scared me a little, though, and I did feel sorry for him when he flew off, knowing that his former worshippers had outgrown him. But again, that was done better in TOS.
886) Resurrection (1997)
DS9 6x8
Writer: Michael Taylor
Director: LeVar Burton
Michael Taylor is a curious writer for me. He has written both some of my favourite and some of my least favourite episodes, with little middle ground. This falls hard into the latter category. It's interesting to have someone from the Mirror Universe cross into the Prime Universe, rather than the other way around as normally happens, and it's doubly interesting to have that someone be Mirror Bareil. But the episode falls flat on its face: every scene is just so interminably dull, and, unlike his Prime Universe counterpart, this Bareil has no chemistry with Kira. So boring, so pedestrian, and the absolute worst of the DS9 Mirror Universe episodes.
885) The Paradise Syndrome (1968)
TOS 3x3
Writer: Margaret Armen
Director: Jud Taylor
I think this is the epitome of functional but dull. The story makes sense, the characters' motivations make sense, but that doesn't mean the episode is interesting. I do like the idea of the Preservers, beings who transplanted members of endangered peoples, here the Native Americans, to other planets, but the episode flops. Kirk's memory loss leads to a yawnworthy stay among the Native Americans, filled with predictable tensions and conflicts, and a bland romance. The Spock and Bones B-plot is also boring. I feel a little something for Miramanee's death, but only a little something.
884) Assignment: Earth (1968)
TOS 2x26
Writer: Art Wallace, story by Gene Roddenberry & Art Wallace
Director: Marc Daniels
Star Trek without the Star Trek. Deciding not to focus on the main characters for an episode isn't a bad idea in and of itself, but the characters put in their stead hold little interest for me. The same is true of the plot they work within. This was of course a backdoor pilot for a spin-off that never manifested, and maybe if it had come about I would like this episode much more, but as it stands I find the characters unintriguing and the plot uninspired. The climax is particularly poor, with about seventy different shots of the rocket going into orbit, while the characters mill about and do very little. I want me my Kirk, Spock and Bones back.
883) The Red Angel (2019)
DSC 2x10
Writer: Chris Silvestri & Anthony Maranville
Director: Hanelle M Culpepper
Down here for the same reasons as previous DSC Season 2 episodes I've put on this list. It engages heavily in the twin foul-ups of the Spock's sister storyline and the Section 31 portrayal. I hate the base concept of Burnham being Spock's sister, for reasons I've explained in my previous post, so I despise all their scenes together, that build out this relationship that I wish had never been. And Section 31 continues to be portrayed as a public wing of the Federation, with ships and resources provided by Starfleet, which is godawful.
I will say, however, that I do kinda like the sequence where Burnham has to strap herself to a chair and bare herself to the planet's toxic atmosphere in order to summon the Red Angel. And the reveal that the Angel is not herself but in fact her mother is cool. But this is still a really bad episode.
882) The Storyteller (1993)
DS9 1x13
Writer: Kurt Michael Bensmiller & Ira Steven Behr, story by Kurt Michael Bensmiller
Director: David Livingston
A really messy, weak outing. The A- and B-plots have nothing to do with each other, which isn't automatically bad, but here it just makes the episode feel untidy. Of the two, I prefer the Jake and Nog subplot; it's funny seeing them mooning over the female teenage leader of a settlement who comes to the station. Their getting in trouble to impress her is charming. The A-plot sucks, though: the whole business of O'Brien having to become the protector of this village, from an amorphous cloud villain, is just lame, and the resolution is whatever. It is funny to see O'Brien and Julian in their first episode together, though, and witnessing how much O'Brien doesn't care for the good Doctor at this point. Oh, how times will change.
881) The Arsenal of Freedom (1988)
TNG 1x20
Writer: Richard Manning & Hans Beimler, story by Maurice Hurley & Robert Lewin
Director: Les Landau
A ramshackle adventure with a medley of different storylines, all of which are underwhelming. The best is Geordi's plotline, where he asserts himself as commander of the Enterprise over the *rsehole Chief Engineer of the week, but the other two don't really have any redeeming qualities. The Riker and co storyline is repetitive and the Picard and Beverly storyline is dull. I do like that the threat is resolved when Picard agrees to make a purchase from this dead civilisation, though.
880) Move Along Home (1993)
DS9 1x9
Writer: Frederick Rappaport, Lisa Rich & Jeanne Carrigan-Fauci, story by Michael Piller
Director: David Carson
OK, so I said this wasn't the worst of DS9, but it's still really bad. Though I have to say that, after I watched this with my siblings last year, and had such fun doing so, I've never been able to see it quite so badly. It's bad, yeah, but it's so, so much fun. The best-worst bit is of course the alien hopscotch scene, and I also really have to give credit to Alexander Siddig for playing some brilliant cringey comedy with Julian. The scene where he's trying to wake himself up from a nightmare by screaming? So funny. These (sort of) praises made, this is still a stinker of an episode, with a messy plot, too-silly events, and some serious overacting from Armin Shimerman at the end. Definitely something best watched with friends or family.
Allamaraine, count to four,
Allamaraine, then three more,
Allamaraine, if you can see,
Allamaraine, you'll come with me!
879) Justice (1987)
TNG 1x7
Writer: Worley Thorne, story by Ralph Wills & Worley Thorne
Director: James L Conway
I love the basic idea of this episode: Wesley runs afoul of a law on another planet and is sentenced to death by their draconian justice system. Then Picard has to struggle with whether to obey the Prime Directive or save his life. But the episode is dragged down by some weird costuming choices and, most of all, the addition of an omnipotent entity that watches over the planet's people. This should have just been an episode about Picard struggling between duty and conscience; the addition of a mega-powerful being steals screentime from this fine idea.
878) A Simple Investigation (1997)
DS9 5x17
Writer: Rene Echevarria
Director: John T Kretchmer
Uuuuugh; another boring single-episode romance. It's an interminable chore to sit through, from beginning to end, with tired, uninspired romantic scenes and an unexciting criminalistic plot surrounding the Orion Syndicate. I also don't like how the Changelings' linking is equated with sex in that one scene. There are a few fun scenes with O'Brien, Julian and Jadzia when they're playing the spy holosuite program (Jadzia's 'Ooh, somebody stop me!', or O'Brien's 'Hi, Odo!'), but that's about it.
877) Such Sweet Sorrow Part Two (2019)
DSC 2x14
Writer: Michelle Paradise, Junny Lumet, & Alex Kurtzman
Director: Olatunde Osunsanmi
DSC wasn't merely content to introduce a sister for Spock who weakened the story of his childhood and family life. They had to make that sister so important in his life that he'd be willing to go with her into the future and leave his life behind. I hate that Kurtzman and co made this decision, as it makes everything in TOS, SNW etc feel like Spock settling for second-best, when in reality he is fulfilling his life's purpose in those series.
I also never connected with any of the DSC original characters, except for Saru, and even with him I don't feel any emotion at their grand final 23rd Century adventure to stop Control. As I've said before, this evil sentient AI story is a tired, repeated idea, and its connection to the terrible portrayal of Section 31 makes it worse. As a result of all this don't give a single crap about any of the grand-scale action in this episode, and I feel nothing for the loss of the Discovery crew to the far future. I will say that this episode did at least propel DSC into the 32nd Century, which would end up saving the series from being irredeemably awful, and it sets up the phenomenal SNW (although we didn't strictly need all this for SNW to work).
876) Vis a Vis (1998)
VOY 4x20
Writer: Robert Doherty
Director: Jesus Salvador Trevino
A vapid story about Tom feeling dissatisfied with his life on Voyager, and getting replaced by a shape-stealing alien. The concept for the alien is solid, but the execution doesn't fly. It ends up being a limp episode that drags quite a bit, with a bland character arc for Tom at its centre. Shoutout for the appearance of Dan Butler as the alien's main form, though; he played the testosterone-fuelled Bulldog Briscoe in my favourite comedy, Frasier.
That's it for now. Thank you very much for reading, and Live Long and Prosper!

Hi Everyone!
This is a continuation from my previous post.
I want to thank everyone who has shown interest in my past previous posts and bought something from me! It has been a big help with life especially because since the beginning of this year I have a family member going through an illness and so I am just downsizing by selling my collection for some extra money for treatment and support. I'm trying my best with selling as much as I can with the time I've got organising this as well as just dealing with all of it.
I'm still needing to sell some of my scale figures/PVC and Nendoroids, so I am continuing my posts here with a total of 71 new and existing figures that I've got organised and ready to sell before posting more.
Payments will be made on PayPal Goods and Services (no fees) for the figure + shipping. I'm also able to accept pay in 4 installments upon request as an option! As a collector of various sports cards, I've tried numerous toploaders to keep my prized possessions safe and clean. The Ultra Pro 55pt Toploader had been on my radar for some time, and I finally decided to give it a try.
Upon opening the package, I was impressed by how sturdy and well-built the toploader felt. The clear design allowed me to show off my cards beautifully while still providing ample protection. The 55pt thickness was perfect for my chrome and prism cards, which can be a bit tricky to fit in standard toploaders. There was no more struggling or forcing cards into place.
However, there was one downside to using these toploaders. They were more expensive than some of their counterparts, which made me hesitant to order them in larger quantities. Despite this, I still find the Ultra Pro 55pt Toploader to be a high-quality and reliable product that has become a staple in my card collection.

🔗Ultra Pro 3"x4" Gold Rookie Toploader - Clear, Durable Card Holder with Rigid PVC Construction

https://preview.redd.it/p7pg8ldd9w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2b22738de37e596cf9e66bb105533eca37f5dae8
I recently added the Ultra Pro 3" x 4" Rookie Gold Toploader to my collection, and I must say, I'm impressed. These rigid plastic enclosures not only protect and keep my Rookie cards clean but also feature a sleek Rookie Card gold foil hot stamp. Made from high impact rigid PVC, these top loaders are super clear and perfect for showcasing your favorite players.
One aspect I enjoyed the most was the packaging, as they arrived promptly and were well protected. I also appreciate that these toploaders are affordable and come in packs of 25, making them a great value for anyone looking to safeguard their collection. There truly is no need to overpay for quality products like these.
Overall, the Ultra Pro 3" x 4" Rookie Gold Toploader has been an excellent addition to my collection, and I highly recommend them to other collectors. Their versatility, durability, and attractive design make them a great choice for any card enthusiast.

🔗Economical 35mm Bulk Film Loader for Photography Enthusiasts

https://preview.redd.it/4jstazpd9w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b89305de339103861d74df58fd9ed01c46faf21d
Lloyd 35mm Bulk Film Loader LL01 - A reliable and efficient companion for my 35mm photography journey.
This film loader was a breeze to use - its intuitive design and user-friendly interface made loading and spooling 35mm rolls a seamless process. It accepts one 100' roll of 35mm film, which I could convert into individual cassettes effortlessly. The helpful guide printed on the front of the machine indicated the number of cranks needed to produce rolls of varying exposure lengths.
However, the film loader had its drawbacks as well. The winding handle, which seemed flimsy and poorly designed, caused some concern as it was prone to breaking. Additionally, the locking ring that held the film cartridge in place broke after just four uses, which was disappointing.
Overall, the Lloyd 35mm Bulk Film Loader LL01 proved to be a dependable tool for loading and spooling 35mm film. Despite the issues with the winding handle and locking ring, it ultimately delivered on convenience and saving money with bulk film.

🔗High-Quality Rookie Card Toploader Protector 410 Reloader (35pt)

https://preview.redd.it/v6npxm4e9w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=21d25bb9124dc5c968d39ff5a2dfa77ed63ed86e
As a sports enthusiast, I've been using the Rookie Card, 35pt toploaders and they make a perfect addition to my card collection. The design of the holder is quite sleek, and I appreciate the "Rookie Card" label on them, which adds an extra touch of authenticity.
The 35pt toploaders are securely built with PVC and hold the cards snugly in place. However, I find the size a little smaller than I expected, which can make it difficult to fit some thicker cards, but this may vary depending on the type of card you're protecting. Overall, I'd say it's a great product that keeps my precious players safe and organized.

🔗EVORETRO Comic Book Toploader Pack - Lifetime Protection for Comics

https://preview.redd.it/9h95cage9w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1b3eb96ca945d124fa22258e2853403fa9f845fc
In my quest for the best comic book toploader, I stumbled upon EVORETRO's offering. This pack of 10 top loaders proved to be a lifesaver for my comic collection. The clear material used for these top loaders allows me to easily see the cover art while keeping my comics safe from damage, thanks to their durability and resistance to accidental drops.
However, one downside I noticed was the lack of variety in the sizes offered. While they are great for standard-sized comics, larger issues might not fit comfortably. Overall, the EVORETRO toploader has become an essential part of my comic book storage, protecting my valuable comics while still showcasing their artwork.

🔗Durable 410 Reloader Steel Shot Charge Bar

https://preview.redd.it/m2ep0tse9w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c41d7c41269b689a50fd4b415de6d8976990eb53
One cold winter morning, I decided to head to the shooting range to work on my aim with my friends. As an avid shotgun enthusiast, I always ensure to have the right equipment for any situation. On that particular day, my go-to shotgun shell press, MEC Charge Bar Steel Shot 7, proved to be an invaluable asset.
The anodized aluminum charge bars were quick and easy to switch, making it a breeze to adjust the powder charge according to the weather and shooting conditions. One highlight that truly stood out was the soft insert, which prevented the shearing of larger or hard shot, ensuring that my rounds performed consistently and accurately.
However, there was one minor drawback to my experience. At the range, I had a friend who also used a MEC Charge Bar Steel Shot 7. We discovered that the charge bars for lead and steel shot are not interchangeable - a fact that could have confused us both if we hadn't checked the manual first. Nevertheless, this quirk didn't hinder our progress, and we were able to continue enjoying our day at the range without any significant issues.
In conclusion, the MEC Charge Bar Steel Shot 7 is a remarkable tool for both beginning and advanced shotgun reloaders. With its quick-change charge bars, adjustability, and soft insert, it's evident that MEC has put a lot of thought into designing a reliable and efficient product. While the charge bars for different shot types may not be interchangeable, this minor downside doesn't detract from the overall quality and performance of this exceptional shotgun shell press.

🔗Rookie Card Toploader and Sleeve Set for Standard Size Cards

https://preview.redd.it/dowipo5f9w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=741644ed789d5896583d2786863f70c61b9d6622
When I first laid my eyes on the Ultra Pro 3" x 4" Rookie Toploader, I couldn't help but appreciate its sleek appearance and sturdy design. As a collector, I've had my fair share of mishaps with standard toppers, but this one seemed to stand out from the rest.
The topper's rigid plastic construction felt reassuring, providing a perfect fit for my standard-sized cards. And with the added protection of the archival-grade, Non-PVC, and Acid-Free sleeves, I knew my cards were in safe hands.
However, the real highlight for me was the exclusive "ROOKIE CARD" hot-stamped gold foil on the toppers. Not only did it add a touch of elegance, but it also made identifying them in my collection a breeze.
While the product's cost seemed a tad higher than my previous toppers, I couldn't help but justify the investment for the added durability and aesthetic appeal of the Ultra Pro 3" x 4" Rookie Toploader.
In conclusion, this product exceeded my expectations in terms of both quality and security. Despite the higher price point, I feel confident in recommending it to fellow collectors who prioritize the protection and presentation of their cards.

🔗Versatile High-Performance 410 Reloader Single Stage Charge Bar

https://preview.redd.it/ox3suhkf9w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b6f46e6a2685729db09215d30bc49ffafc9fe95e
For the past month, I've been using the MEC Single Stage Charge Bar for my reloading days. This charge bar has been a game-changer in my set-up, providing me with the perfect amount of precision and ease that I've been looking for.
The anodized aluminum build is both sturdy and lightweight, making it easy to handle and maneuver. It also boasts a soft insert design that prevents any damage to larger or hard lead shot, ensuring consistent and reliable performance.
However, there is one downside I've encountered. These charge bars are not interchangeable between lead and steel shots. It would be great if MEC could come up with a solution for this in the future, but for now, it remains a small inconvenience.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with the MEC Single Stage Charge Bar. It has made my reloading process so much smoother and more efficient, providing me with a high-quality, long-lasting product that I can't wait to use for many more projects.

🔗Top 50 Size 8 x 10 Photo Mounts

https://preview.redd.it/m1d2jivf9w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=862256573718937f38b31495977cb1578103114a
I recently came across these 8x10-sized top loaders, and let me tell you, they've made a significant difference in my photo album game. Perfect for mounting on plaques, these bad boys from Cardboard Gold, Inc.
are a game-changer. The quality is top-notch, and the design is sleek, making them a standout in my collection. However, the only downside is that they're not as versatile as some other options out there.
Overall, I'd definitely recommend giving them a try if you're in the market for a reliable, good-looking solution for your photo albums.

🔗Pro Safe 55pts Trading Card Holders, 410 Reloader

https://preview.redd.it/n73kfqeg9w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b6618aee82c35e97ea74b9f7478973e81923d740
In my experience, the Pro-Safe 55pt thick toploaders were a game-changer. These trading card holders are designed with thick cards up to 55pts in mind, which I found incredibly useful. The crystal-clear quality of the holders was a sight to behold, making it super easy to showcase my cards without the hassle of cloudy protection.
Made of high-impact rigid PVC, they felt sturdy and reliable, offering peace of mind while handling my cards. Each pack contains 25 holders, which is perfect for bulking up your collection. The dimensions of 3"x4" were just right, allowing me to open on the short side and protect my cards with ease.
Overall, these toploaders were a great addition to my card collection and I highly recommend them for fellow collectors.

🔗Sturdy 8.5"x 11" Toploader Holder for Collectibles

https://preview.redd.it/sv9s1dlg9w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6a74efea6adae74a7cf5cf6afe49d70bcba4863d
As an avid collector, I've been using these stunning 8.5"x11" toploaders for a while now, and they have truly elevated my passion project. They're great for mounting on plaques, and the size is just perfect for all that important memorabilia.
I especially appreciate how they make displaying my treasured 410 Reloader prints so much more enjoyable. However, I noticed that they can be a bit tricky to install in certain cases, and their thickness might not be ideal for very thin materials. But overall, these toploaders are a fantastic addition to my collectibles collection, and I couldn't be happier with my experience.

🔗Affordable and Versatile 35mm Film Roll Bulk Loader

https://preview.redd.it/bdsy100h9w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6d0d7575181921e9266ba1d5551b656cb79af9d6
As a photography aficionado, I recently tried out the Arista 35mm Bulk Film Loader, aptly named "Bobinquick Junior. " This nifty tool is perfect for those who love experimenting with different types of film rolls, especially for those who frequently shoot with 35mm film. The device is surprisingly easy to use, even for beginners, and it offers a range of customization options for the number of frames per cassette.
One of the things I noticed right away is the high-quality build, which is an important factor for any photography accessory. The film loader is designed to accommodate all 35mm rolls, up to 30.5 meters in length, making it a versatile choice for various shooting scenarios. Its compact size is also a bonus, as it takes up minimal space in your camera bag.
However, I did encounter a minor inconvenience with this device—it doesn't accept Leica reloadable cassettes. While this might be a deal-breaker for some, it didn't deter me from using it with my Nikon and Zeiss film cassettes. The product's integrated fuel gauge, which shows the remaining bulk film in the chamber, is a thoughtful feature that adds to its overall quality.
In conclusion, the Arista 35mm Bulk Film Loader, or "Bobinquick Junior, " is a valuable addition to any photographer's arsenal. Its ease of use, high build quality, and versatility make it a standout product, despite the occasional limitation. If you're a 35mm film enthusiast looking to save on film costs and streamline your shooting process, this product is worth considering.

🔗Ultra-Clear Top Loader: Protect Your 410 Reloaders

https://preview.redd.it/glwdrzch9w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6b8cfd661adff1eee387d386e236d5880a974588
From my experience using the Ultra Pro 24 x 36 in Top Loader, it provided a clear and sturdy way to protect and store my collectibles. The high impact rigid PVC material kept dust and dirt out, while the super clear design showcased my posters and photos beautifully.
However, I did notice that the top loader was a bit flimsy compared to a smaller version, which made sliding my collectibles in a bit of a challenge. Overall, it's a useful product that deserves its 4-star rating and 10.0 review score.

🔗MEC Short Kit .410 Converter Kit for 600 Jr. and Sizemaster Shotshell Reloaders

https://preview.redd.it/ykm7hp0i9w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=12dc24c9fdb139c41ecf3e4725f5e9ff34fd6576
I've been using the MEC Short Kit. 410 Converts in my daily life, and it's been quite the game changer for my MEC shotshell reloader. This kit is incredibly useful when converting my 600 Jr. , 600 Jr. Mark 5, Sizemaster, or Steelmaster reloader to handle shells of a shorter length.
One of the features that stood out for me is its ability to make reloading easier and hassle-free. With its 3" to 2 1/2" conversion kit, it takes away the need for additional tools and effort, which is great for someone like me who doesn't want to spend too much time on the reloading process.
However, I did notice that while this kit is incredibly convenient, it can be a bit heavy to carry around, especially for someone like me who prefers a lighter load. The product weighs around 0.55 oz, which might be a bit of a burden for some users.

🔗Lee Precision 3-Die Set for 45-70 Government Reloading

https://preview.redd.it/581teo286w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bd5c9e2a35b60ccf90c1b08bb6b3e021c53b3ea2
When I first got my hands on the Lee Precision 3 Die Steel Set, I was impressed with the sturdy construction. This set has everything you need for handloading your. 45-70 Government rounds, without any need for additional accessories. I appreciated the inclusion of the Lee Precision Steel Full Length Sizer die, which allowed for easy sizing without having to buy that separately.
One thing that stood out was the versatility of this product. With its included powder dipper and shell holder, it was a breeze to charge and seat my bullets, making handloading as simple as can be. Add that to the reliable crimping process and it was hard to find any faults.
However, like any product, it wasn't without its quirks. I found that the included Lee Precision Steel Full Length Sizer die required careful lubrication before use and needed the cases to be cleaned before charging. It also didn't come with a factory crimp die, which added an extra step to the process.
All in all, the Lee Precision 3 Die Steel Set was a reliable addition to my reloading kit. With its robust construction, versatile capabilities, and reasonable price, it's a product that any serious handloader should consider. Just remember that with any reloading equipment, patience, and attention to detail are key to ensuring a seamless process.

🔗Lee Precision 4-Die Carbide Set for .38 Special and .357 Magnum Reloading

https://preview.redd.it/3nc35wl86w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=285fd6e684119c5c95d3b29d6bc72ed8321b8dc6
When I decided to take up reloading my own ammunition, I knew I needed a reliable and efficient set of dies. That's when I stumbled upon the Lee Precision Carbide 4 Die Set. I was immediately attracted to its four-die set, which included a carbide sizing die, a bullet seating die, a powder thru expanding die, and a carbide factory crimp die. The set is perfect for effectively and efficiently reusing my ammunition.
One of the things that stood out to me was the air-tight, low profile box that the dies come in. It keeps the dies organized and preserved, so they're always ready to use. The dies themselves are high quality and easy to set up, ensuring a smooth and efficient reloading process.
However, there were a few drawbacks. The instructions could be clearer at times, and I found that I needed to thoroughly clean the dies with lacquer thinner to ensure accurate adjustments and prevent any issues with powder flow. The locking rings also took some getting used to, but after a little practice, I was able to easily switch between calibers on my Lee turret press.
Overall, the Lee Precision Carbide 4 Die Set has been a reliable and efficient addition to my reloading setup. It's a great value for the price and has lived up to my expectations. I would definitely recommend it to fellow reloaders looking for a high-quality and cost-effective set of dies.

🔗Efficient Carbide Reloading Dies for 5.7 X 28 Ammo

I recently got my hands on the Lee Precision Carbide 3 Die Set 10mm, and let me tell you, it's been quite the experience. First off, the packaging was quite impressive - the dies were neatly arranged in a small, sturdy box. The manual and load data sheet were a nice touch too.
One of the features that stood out to me was the universal shell holder, which made it a breeze to start reloading my ammo. It took me back to the old days when people had to go through the hassle of finding the right components and assembling them by hand. The powder dipper was a real game-changer; it's like a whole new level of precision in reloading.
As for the dies themselves, they were durable and easy to use. The carbide full length sizing die was really impressive - no more issues with stripped lock screws! The powder through expanding die bullet seating die worked like a charm, ensuring accurate and consistent crimping. The universal shell holder was a bit fiddly at first, but once I got the hang of it, it was a smooth operation.
That's not to say there weren't a few cons. The instruction manual could have been more detailed, particularly when it came to adjusting the die. And the seating/crimping die took some fiddling around before I achieved consistent results, especially when I tried to do both at the same time.
Overall, though, it's been a positive experience. The Lee Precision Carbide 3 Die Set 10mm does a great job of making reloading more efficient and reliable. I'd definitely consider investing in more sets for the future. A five out of five for me!

While the RCBS Lott 3-Die Set is a great addition to any gun enthusiast's arsenal, there are a few drawbacks to note. For instance, the dies may require some adjustment to get the perfect fit, which can be a bit frustrating. Additionally, the price point may be a bit steep for some users, particularly those just starting out in the reloading world.
Overall, if you're looking for a high-quality set of dies to take your reloading game to the next level, the RCBS Lott 3-Die Set is definitely worth considering. While there are a few minor drawbacks, the pros far outweigh the cons in this case.

As a frequent reloader, I've had the pleasure of using the Lee Precision Pacesetter Dies for. 223. These dies have been an essential part of my reloading process, offering a great balance between affordability and performance.
Upon first use, the quality of these dies became apparent. The crimp die and roll crimper allowed me to achieve consistent ammunition with ease. However, one area where these dies excel is with full-length sizing. By performing this step in a Lee single stage press followed by a turret press, I've been able to achieve optimal accuracy for a reasonable price.
The storage box is another highlight, designed to keep the dies safe and organized. The fact that Lee includes a powder dipper and load data also adds value to the product.
However, there is one potential downside to consider: the depriming arm can sometimes come loose during use. This issue may cause inconvenience for those looking for a smoother reloading experience. Despite this minor drawback, I would still highly recommend the Lee Precision Pacesetter Dies to any reloader looking for affordability without sacrificing quality.

I recently got my hands on the Lee Precision 338 Lapua 2 die set and let me tell you, it's been a game changer. This set includes all the essentials - a sizer and bullet seater die, as well as a powder dipper and the correct shell holder. The best part? One of the features that really stood out to me is the built-in roll crimp. It ensures my cartridges are secure and ready for some serious shooting. The storage box is a thoughtful addition, keeping everything neat and organized when it's not in use.
However, there are a couple of downsides too. I noticed that it doesn't come with a factory crimp die, which could be a deal-breaker for some. Also, it's missing load data which isn't ideal for those unfamiliar with odd or obsolete calibers.

The highlight for me has been the inclusion of the factory crimp die, which simplifies the adjustment process and ensures that my rounds chamber properly in my gun.
Using the universal shell holder as well as the powder dipper has made loading easier and more precise. The carbide dies, including the full-length sizing die, bullet seating die, and powder thru expanding die, have been incredibly durable and reliable.
However, I did notice that the resizing and depriming die wasn't as smooth as I'd hoped. It required a bit more force to secure the brass properly. Additionally, some users mentioned that the recapping pins could be cheaper for the price paid.
Overall, the Lee Precision 4 Die Set has been a valuable addition to my reloading setup, saving me money in the long run. The simplicity of the die set and the factory crimp die have made the reloading process more accessible and enjoyable.

In my experience, the Lee Precision 38SP Powder Thru Expanding Die has quickly become a vital component in my reloading arsenal. This made-in-USA die is designed to charge the case while expanding the case mouth for seamless and efficient powder funnel use. One of the standout features is its compatibility with various powder measure systems, such as the Auto Disk or Pro Auto Disk Powder Measure, which allows for fully automatic powder charging while case mouth expansion. While I've had great success with this set, there were moments where it felt like a bit of trial and error. The bullet seating crimp die has the potential to damage cases if not handled correctly. What are the best 380 reloading dies to use?

The top 380 reloading dies are the Lee Precision 380 Auto Bushing Die, the RCBS 380 Auto Magnum Die, and the Dillon RST 380 Auto Die. Each of these dies is known for its durability, ease of use, and precision, making them the go-to choices for reloading enthusiasts.

What are the differences between the Lee Precision, RCBS, and Dillon RST 380 Auto Dies?

  • Lee Precision 380 Auto Bushing Die: This die is known for its affordability and simplicity. It uses a standard 7/8-24 die thread, and it can handle both semi-automatic and revolver-fired 380 ACP cases.
  • RCBS 380 Auto Magnum Die: This die is a bit more expensive, but it offers more versatility. It works with both semi-automatic and revolver-fired 380 ACP cases and is designed for the Magnum version of the cartridge. It features an adjustable bushing system that allows for precision sizing and crimping.
  • Dillon RST 380 Auto Die: This is the most advanced and expensive option on the list. It is designed for high production runs and features a rotary case tumbler and automatic indexing system. It can handle both semi-automatic and revolver-fired 380 ACP cases.

https://preview.redd.it/s2nvmetg6w3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=10d5fb6cebe3baa1f6a386d721ed2cb9147711d4

What is the difference between the 380 ACP and 380 Auto Magnum?

The main difference between the 380 ACP (Automatic Colt Pistol) and 380 Auto Magnum lies in the case length and design. The 380 ACP has a case length of 0.840 inches, while the 380 Auto Magnum has a case length of 1.035 inches. This longer case length allows for greater powder capacity and thus increased performance. Many 380 Auto Magnum loads are also more powerful than their 380 ACP counterparts.

What tools do I need for reloading 380 ACP or 380 Auto Magnum ammo?

To get started with reloading 380 ammo, you will need the following essential tools: a reloading press, dies (Lee Precision, RCBS, or Dillon RST 380 Auto Dies), a set of reloading components (brass, primer, powder, and bullet), a scale, and a shell holder. Additional tools, such as a case trimmer, shell holder cutter, deburring tool, and bullet puller, may be required depending on the condition of your brass and the specific needs of your reloading setup.

How do I choose the right bullet weight and powder charge for 380 reloading?

The load data for 380 reloading varies depending on the specific caliber and bullet type used. It is essential to consult an up-to-date reloading manual or online load data resource to find the appropriate bullet weight and powder charge for your load. Factors to consider when selecting a bullet weight include bullet type (full metal jacket, hollow point, etc. ), case length, and desired ballistic performance. The powder charge should be selected based on the desired velocity and pressure level, and it should always be within the manufacturer's recommended range for the specific cartridge.

What is the difference between single-stage and progressive reloading presses?

  • Single-stage reloading press: This press uses individual stations for each reloading operation (depriming, sizing, resizing, filling, reaming, and crimping). Each operation must be performed manually, which makes it slower but more accurate and adaptable for various calibers and bullet types.
  • Progressive reloading press: This press features multiple stations that allow for simultaneous reloading of multiple cases. The various operations are performed in a specific order within the press, making it faster but less adaptable to different calibers and bullet types.

What is the price range for 380 reloading dies?

The price range for 380 reloading dies varies depending on the brand and features. Generally, you can expect to pay between $100 to $250 for a high-quality set of dies. However, prices may vary based on availability and specific features, such as adjustable sizing bushing systems or compatibility with Magnum cartridges.

🔗Lee Precision PaceSetter .308 Reloading Dies for Accurate Hunting

https://preview.redd.it/bx2pnv54yv3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7723239629dd12db13f559f4320edabbcc766eca
A few weeks ago, I decided to give reloading my own ammunition a try. Being a newbie, I thought I could give it a go after reading some positive reviews about Lee Precision's Pacesetter dies. I chose the. 308 caliber for my first attempt, as it seemed versatile and widely used. The package arrived quickly, and I was excited to start reloading.
As I began the process, I found the Lee Precision Crimper to be quite helpful. It crimped the bullet in place more firmly than any other tool I've tried, preventing buckling of the case and making for more accurate shooting. The Full Length Sizer was also convenient, and I appreciated the built-in Stuck Case Remover.
On the flip side, I did encounter a couple of issues. First, the locking ring design seemed to have changed since my last set of Lee dies. Second, the powder dipper wasn't much help, as it didn't fit the powder perfectly. Nonetheless, these minor drawbacks didn't outweigh the overall positives of the Pacesetter dies.
Overall, I've been quite satisfied with the Lee Precision Pacesetter Dies for the. 308 caliber. The product has held up well, and I've noticed fewer misfires and jams compared to using factory-loaded ammo. While I may experiment with other die sets in the future, I'm confident that the Pacesetter Dies have given me a solid start in the world of reloading.

🔗Lee Precision 3-Die Set for 45-70 Government Reloading

https://preview.redd.it/4k5vwyl4yv3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=58ccab908a1579790678488efd95186ac409549a
When I first got my hands on the Lee Precision 3 Die Steel Set, I was impressed with the sturdy construction.

🔗Durable Carbide Dies for 9mm Luger Reloading

https://preview.redd.it/ea32ygg5yv3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=79364ebae85e4a4a4cde4e4a52d4de2c2288df68
The Lee Precision Carbide 3 Die Set for 9mm Luger has been an excellent addition to my reloading routine. One of the standout features of this set is its universal shell holder and powder dipper, which has made the process of loading rounds much smoother and efficient. The durable design of the dies also adds peace of mind, knowing that they can withstand regular use without breaking down.
However, I must admit that I've faced a few minor inconveniences while using this set. The most notable issue has been the occasional difficulty in crimping the bullets correctly, which resulted in a few misfires. Additionally, the provided case holder seemed less than ideal, leading me to explore alternative options. Overall, I believe the pros outweigh the cons, and I would recommend the Lee Precision Carbide 3 Die Set for anyone looking to reload their 9mm Luger ammo.

I recently had the chance to try out the Lee Precision Carbide 3 Die Set 10 mm in my daily reloading routine. The set includes powder through expanding die, bullet seating die, and a carbide full-length sizing die, making it perfect for reusing ammunition efficiently.
What really stood out to me was the universal shell holder and powder dipper. It made the entire process much more streamlined and convenient. The durable design was also a standout feature, as it allowed me to reload ammo without worrying about the equipment breaking down or wearing down over time.
However, I did notice that the instruction manual and load data sheet could have been a bit clearer and more detailed. As a beginner, I found myself struggling a bit to understand some of the more complex steps. Additionally, the set screw on the die adjustment seemed a bit less secure than some other options available.
Overall, I think the Lee Precision Carbide 3 Die Set 10 mm is a solid choice for anyone looking to get into reloading their ammo. The universal shell holder and powder dipper make the process incredibly easy, and the durable design ensures that the equipment will last for years to come. I recently had the chance to try out the RCBS Lott 3-Die Set, and let me tell you, it was quite an experience. This set includes a Group C die, a Sizer die, an Expander die, and a Seater die, all of which are essential for any gunsmithing workshop.
One of the standout features of this set is the 3-Die roll crimp, which adds a professional touch to your reloading dies. The quality of the dies is top-notch, and the fact that they are made in the United States only adds to their appeal.

🔗Affordable 3-Die Set for 300 AAC Blackout Cartridge

As a passionate shooter, I found these Lee Precision Pacesetter 3-Die Sets to be a game-changer in my reloading process. These high-quality sets have been a life-saver for me, offering convenience and efficiency in every step, all while maintaining the utmost precision and quality that shooters deserve.
One of the standout features for me was the universal shell holder, which is a life-saver for anyone who reloads using multiple rifles. It's a must-have accessory that adds versatility and ease to the reloading process.
The colored spline drive breech bushings were also something I found particularly useful, as they make die identification a breeze. It means that there's no fumbling around or guessing which die to use when, everything is right there and clearly labeled for easy access.
The Full Length Sizing Die and Easy Adjust Dead Length Bullet Seating Die are top-notch components, providing the accuracy and control that comes standard with Lee Precision products. They made a noticeable improvement in the consistency and quality of my ammunition.
However, the sets did come with a factory crimp die, which, while useful, tends to be less versatile compared to a separate die designated specifically for crimping. Nevertheless, they still offer a comprehensive solution for the majority of reloading requirements.
Lastly, the powder dipper came in handy, and the instructions were comprehensive and easy to follow, making it a great option for beginners or people looking to switch up their reloading method.
In conclusion, Lee Precision's Pacesetter 3-Die Sets are truly a joy to use for anyone serious about reloading – offering top-notch precision, versatility, and convenience, all wrapped up in a remarkably affordable package.

🔗Precision Pacesetter Dies for .223 Caliber - High-Quality Reloading Solution

https://preview.redd.it/4lwqz817yv3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9dd0d62ee73613185e381278c003ce0da06a6316
As a frequent reloader, I've had the pleasure of using the Lee Precision Pacesetter Dies for.

🔗Premium 338/06 Very Limited Production Reloading Die Set

https://preview.redd.it/4pe25587yv3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5d0f5ee0220e362ca737c6305ddedc72f51dde36
As a seasoned reloader, I've had the pleasure of trying out these Lee Precision 338/06 Very Limited Production 2 Die Set. Let me tell you that the Full Length Sizer just blew me away. It allows you to restore any case to factory original dimensions and is perfect for firing form in your gun. And speaking of form, I couldn't help but notice the Bullet Seating Die. Working with nearly any point style bullet, it's a simple adjustment to set the seating depth. The tapered design is a nice touch for use with automatic bullet feeders.
However, nothing's perfect. The design of the radius on the bottom of the die seemed a little too luxurious for my preferences. I found that it caused some issues when trying to reload. 338 Lapua in standard 7/8"-14 dies. It's a design flaw that I hope the manufacturer will consider fixing.
But in the end, these dies have served me well, and I have no qualms about recommending them to others looking for a reliable and affordable reloading solution for their 338-06 caliber. The quality and performance of these Lee Precision dies are worth highlighting indeed.

The highlight of this product, for me, is the smooth and precise adjustment mechanism that makes it extremely user-friendly. Additionally, the accuracy with which this die expands the bullet into the case has surpassed my expectations. These features make this die an essential addition to any reloader's toolbox.
However, there was one minor drawback I encountered – the price point. Given the quality and features of the Hornady Custom Grade Series V Expander Die, I expected it to be slightly more affordable. Despite this, the performance and ease of use make it a worthwhile investment for any serious hunter or gun enthusiast.

🔗RCBS Taper Crimp Reloading Die for 350 Legend Caliber

As a regular reloader, I've been using the RCBS Taper Crimp Seater Die for my 350 Legend ammo. This die is a game-changer in my reloading process, as it not only seats the bullet precisely but also secures it using a built-in taper crimper.
One of the features that stands out is the versatility of the die. It fits perfectly with 350 Legend Reloading Dies, making it a must-have tool for anyone working with this caliber. The seating process is smooth and efficient, ensuring a consistent and accurate bullet placement on the case.
However, there is one thing I would like to see improved. While the taper crimper works well, it could benefit from a bit more adjustability. This would allow users to fine-tune the crimping process for even better results.
Overall, the RCBS Taper Crimp Seater Die - Group C - 350 Legend 21962 is an excellent addition to any reloading setup, especially for those working with 350 Legend cartridges. With its smooth seating process and functional taper crimper, it makes the reloading experience more efficient and enjoyable.

It was quite a delightful experience to use the Lee 90624 3 Die Set in my daily life. One of the most noteworthy features of this set is the carbide full-length sizing die. I was reloading for multiple firearms, and this die made the process incredibly hassle-free. Another highlight is the adjustable crimp from slight taper to full roll, offering versatility and precision in seating the bullets.
However, I also noticed a minor drawback - I encountered a few crushed cases when seating bullets for the. 32 S&W Long. This was an unexpected occurrence, but I learned that it could be due to the flare die not properly preparing the case mouth for seating. Despite this minor issue, I found the Lee dies to be a reliable choice for my pistol reloading needs.
Also, the die set came with a powder thru expanding die and a universal shell holder, which proved to be quite useful. The carbide dies made the process incredibly smooth and efficient. I must say, Lee Precision's products have been a great addition to my handloading equipment, and they consistently deliver high-quality results. Their customer service is top-notch, making the overall experience even more satisfying.

🔗Hornady 350 Legend Taper Crimp Reloading Die - Improved Feeding Reliability

I recently added the 350 Legend Taper Crimp Die to my arsenal of reloading dies, and let me tell you, it has proven to be a game-changer. This die, designed by Hornady, is specifically made to improve the feeding reliability of your semi-automatic handgun or rifle. The unique Taper Crimp Die removes the flare from the case mouth, promoting smooth feeding, while still maintaining that sharp edge for perfect head spacing.
What really stands out is the inclusion of Hornady's Sure-Loc die locking ring, which keeps the die securely in place. However, one thing to note is that the shellholder is sold separately, but that's a minor inconvenience considering the benefits this die provides. It's worth mentioning that Hornady offers a No-Risk Lifetime Warranty, giving you peace of mind when investing in their products.
In terms of my experience, I've noticed a significant improvement in the reloading process, and the results have been impressive. The die works like a charm, and it's virtually hassle-free. The only downside is having to purchase the shellholder separately, but that's a minor issue considering the overall performance and reliability of this die. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enhance their reloading experience.

🔗Precision 338 Lapua 2 Die Set for Reloading

https://preview.redd.it/7dyns7e9yv3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ad9b0497711df5478ad3ca24fa1b89fbb31c5055
I recently got my hands on the Lee Precision 338 Lapua 2 die set and let me tell you, it's been a game changer. This set includes all the essentials - a sizer and bullet seater die, as well as a powder dipper and the correct shell holder. The best part? It's half the price of its competitors, without sacrificing on quality.
Overall, the Lee Precision 338 Lapua 2 die set is a solid choice for anyone looking for an affordable and reliable way to reload their ammo. With its accurate sizing and seating, it's definitely worth considering.

🔗Lee Precision Deluxe 4-Die Set for 350 Legend Reloading

https://preview.redd.it/wau6fmr9yv3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=98f790db0ffa0ae64775fc4edaecf35a0c183472
I've been using the Lee Precision 4 Die Set for my 380 Auto rounds, and let me tell you, it's been a game-changer for my reloading process.

2024.05.31 20:42 Zenith_X1 Shaper CoC Bow for Gem Scaling Builds (and Annul-Crafting)

Bow: https://i.imgur.com/E0EbeXI.png
Why: Most CoC bow builds scale off of spell damage and want to use the T1 Deafening Essence of Woe (up to 144% spell damage), however this particular variant I'm playing around with is Poison-based & non-elemental, which scales off of flat damage from gem levels. This bow combos very nicely with Empower Support.
How (Rule 10):
Prepping the bow with % increased attack speed
Note on Annul-based Crafting (or Un-Crafting)
It's important to note that crafting CoC & +1 soc gems is done in an unusual way. On a shaper bow that has "Cannot Roll Attack Mods", there are five different prefixes that can appear.
  • +1 soc gems has a weight of 1000
  • Cast on crit (tier doesn't matter) has a weight of 700
  • The total prefix modifier pool size is 8500.
Based on the above weights we have an 11.7% chance to exalt +1, or an 8.2% chance to exalt CoC. The odds of slamming both back-to-back are very low, so here I provide a different method. Instead of using exalts to add the mods we want, we improve our odds by using annuls to subtract the mods we dont want. This means filling the item and annulling the high weight mods (2/4 annul followed by a 1/3 annul) for a 1/6 chance of keeping +1 and CoC. Adding two undesired 3000 weight mods, for example, improves the odds of +1 soc gems appearing from 11.7% to 40%. The chance to remove +1 thereafter is only 25%. Annuls don't care about modifier weight, and thus it is far cheaper to retain our desired mods by annuling, than to gamble on receiving our desired mods by exalting.
Finishing the Bow
  • 7) Benchcraft 'Cannot Roll Attack Modifiers' (This protects our attack speed modifier)
  • 8) Exalt until all three prefixes are full (if you get super lucky and both mods appear, skip to step 11)
  • 9) Annul once
  • 10) Exalt once; repeat steps 9 and 10 until you have both +1 soc gems and CoC on the item.
  • 11) Annul the undesired prefix and the undesired suffix (1 in 6 chance).
  • 12) Benchcraft 'Can have up to 3 Crafted Modifiers'
  • 13) Benchcraft 'StInt and Crit Chance Hybrid Mod' from Betrayal
  • 14) Benchcraft '+2 to level of Socketed Support Gems' from Betrayal (Catarina)
  • 15) (Not shown) Enchant with crit chance per quality, attack speed per quality, or whatever your heart desires.

Known issues, bugs, glitches, exploits:

Some of those are present in vanilla game. I mention every problem encountered during testing and solution if there is any.
Action girl perk have only one rank on female character and two on male.
NO FIX: It's 25% AP regen loss for endgame if you choose female character.
Bubblegum seems to unintentionally quench some thirst and vendors give it for free.
NO FIX: Free candies to encourage shopping. No fix for now.
Few perk descriptions might be slightly incorrect or missing.
NO FIX: Nothing important to worry about. No fix unless immersive gameplay gets updated.
Three street lights and subway light have incorrect build costs.
NO FIX: These have too high build costs. Use alternative items.
Water surface sometimes flash black when moving underwater.
NO FIX: Its not very noticable and you don't dive much in FO4 anyway.
Hubby secret basement in Sanctuary.
NO FIX: Its up to you if you want to use inside contents. Makes game much easier, gives headstart.
Hacking rank 4 seems useless or has wrong description.
NO FIX: Last rank is useless.
Locksmith doesn't make lock picking any easier. PARTIAL FIX: The only reasonable fix I found is to install "Quick Hack and Pick" mod #7777 after getting all levels of locksmith. Just replace starting special =7
Animal Fat doesn't drop from animals.
NO FIX: Its not very important.
Can't complete prologue, radroaches kill me too quickly.
FIX: If you are not able to kill or avoid them before they kill you, try mod #111.
Ground textures in and around sanctuary flicker black.
FIX: Fixes itself over time.
Green chest containing flare gun and 10k flares after exiting vault 111.
FIX: Mod dev forgot to delete it. Ignore and forget about it.
Wall turrets sometimes glitches and play sound on repeat.
FIX: Re-enter the area or reload save.
Contact frag mines from mod # seems to have too low damage.
FIX: Ignore and don't craft them. Other new explosives should work fine and do decent damage.
Perception low, constant (-1) PER in stats because of poison damage/resistance bug.
FIX: Vanilla glitch. Safest way to install Vrexia's Magical Rings and equip rings. Should not collide with regular ring slot.
Pip-boy light wont transfer from first to third person camera view.
FIX: Turn flashlight off and on. Can't fix on PS4/5.
Incorrect cost to build concrete foundations and barn menu items.
FIX: Use mod #20 to add tons of foundations in newly added category StructuresConcrete.
OCDecorator replaces creation club menu.
FIX: Items from CC are still available in other building categories. Ignore this or delete mod #24 + #25 if you dont care about its function.
Can't use Wattz Consumer Electronics terminal, animation stops.
FIX: There is a radroach behind the wall. Kill it by swinging melee or using explosives.

First
Lori watched the shuttle gently grasp their life pod with some sort of tractoring tech. Her mind racing with a million thoughts as she tried, and failed, to keep her nerves under control. Who where these aliens that called themselves Humans. The Great Admiral had ordered everyone before exiting warp NOT to resist these humans as they had acknowledged the galactic standard call for help they had broadcast when the warp bubble they had been traveling in started shrinking exponentially as their ships where mauled by the Varille battleship.
That ship had methodically destroyed one ship after another. It's Captain staying just outside range of the capital grade lasers the Orion cruisers mounted and used it's long range missiles to first wound, then utterly destroy five Orion cruisers and the only destroyer that managed to survive getting into FTL. They had been trying for several cycles to find an exit so they could leave the FTL lanes without being outright destroyed by the Varille. Then they had gotten hit on the Regents Pride, the missile somehow managed to tear a hole from port to starboard but missed everything vital. However many civilians were lost during the loss of atmosphere and the decompression of those areas.
The blue and white shuttle steadily towed them into a much larger ship called the Titan 7. The Humans had built a giant brick with what appeared to be a hundred cargo bays! She thought seeing the massive behemoth swallow other shuttles towing life pods similar to her group. Most of the refugees on her pod where juveniles, a few expecting mothers too far along to be in fighting condition, and a wounded V.I.P. she had helped a medical officer carry the stretcher onto the pod with the badly bandaged Orion woman. He had hurried off shortly after that being summoned to assist wounded a deck below the life pods.
They went through some sort of shield and she could see other pods opening and the tall Human guards in black and grey combat armor escorting other Orion's into large clusters near interior blast doors. She found herself wondering again why these humans had decided to help them. She knew they had passed at least seven other warp gates and broadcast the same distress signal.
No one had allowed them entry. So many of the survivors had died on those ships the Varille battleship had destroyed. So many more had died on her home world of Farcee trying to escape the Varille fleet bombardment and the Brood's landing cluster's. The Varille, she knew, liked taking slaves for their mining/industrial planets. But the Brood only kept non insectoid sentient creatures around to lay their eggs in. She shuddered involuntarily as the thought wormed it's way into her thoughts.
The pod jostled as the tractor fully sat it down and released it. A light above the pods door turned a solid yellow indicating breathable air and with a "PWOOOOSHHH" the door unsealed and swung outwards. The lights inside where suddenly dim as the door revealed a towering human in a black and grey combat suit. Lori squinted as a tall, imposing human stepped into view, some sort of pulse rifle slung over it's shoulder and two small lights on the side of its helmet.
"Welcome to Sol. You have been granted temporary asylum. Please follow Sergeant Havora to your debrief. Any hostility will be dealt with swiftly and will immediately render your asylum void." The voice sounded male through it's helmets audio but with this being first contact the only thing she could think of was how big this human was! It towered over the tallest Orion adult by at least five hands. Orion's started milling about in the pod as best they could and soon where being escorted to an area denoted for their use as a gathering spot and two more pods groups soon joined them.
Lori found herself studying these humans. They had two arms and legs, an apparent head and torso. One group of people seemed to stand out, they were dressed in white with a red "+" insignia on their left shoulder. A small round machine with the same insignia hoovered along behind them. Anyone that was found as being wounded, they pulled from the groups, some that were wounded in the final battle with the Varille battle ship as they entered the Sol FTL gate. She still couldn't get a good look at their faces.
A throat was cleared near the interior blast doors as Lori spotted the small form of a humanoid reptilian only six hand's tall! It cleared it's throat and with a flick of it's small tail another humanoid biped in a black and grey combat suit stepped forward and with a very loud "clang" as they stomped a heavy metal boot and shouted, "ATTENTIONNN!"
Almost instantly she and the other Orion's went silent, their attention riveted to the small cluster of aliens arrayed in front of them. She could see various different species represented and found herself idly wondering if her first impression of humanity had actually been from a human.
"Thank you Lieutenant Commander," said the small reptilian alien in a slightly nasal voice,"I am Sargent Crom. We have been ordered to get you folks settled in for transport to more accommodating conditions." Sgt. Crom paused for a moment making sure everyone was understanding the translation before continuing. "Your wounded will be taken care of and treated as our own until they recover. Mrs Vali," Sgt Crom waved a small hand at the wounded V.I.P. she was still near and a very tall obviously female alien that had almost sparkling green skin stepped forward, her limbs long and thin, in a white body suit that had a red "+" emblazoned on the left shoulder. Several others dressed similarly to her cautiously followed her as she pulled out some sort of small flat device and ran it over the V.I.P. before motioning to two of the smaller aliens and ordering them to do something in a voice and language that sounded like tinkling bells to Lori's sensitive ears.
As Miss Vali and her team of healers worked through the crowd of Orion's, Sargent Crom continued. "Now, let's continue by saying WELCOME to the United Sol Alliance territories. As you can tell, the U.S. Alliance has several member species and government's. I am a Jabilix. Miss Vali is an Elladrin, and the lieutenant commander is Human." Lori's eyes immediately snapped back to the man in black and grey combat armor as he stood at attention slightly behind and to the left of Sargent Crom.
"We are not all of the U.S. Alliance member species," she paused, "I am sure you will eventually meet us all. Now if you would form two lines here, and here." As Sargent Crom spoke a strip of light lit up on one side of the blast doors, and as she finished another set on the other side lit up. "We will see you to a bunk, something to eat, and then your debriefing. Don't worry, we just want to know what is going on. There is no right or wrong answers. We already have most of the ships logs so this is mostly just to follow protocol." Sargent Crom waited for a few moments before adding, "Move people! We have many more pods to retrieve and space is limited."
With that Lori found herself joining the rest of the people from her pod in forming into the desired lines and soon found they where moving farther into the ship and down several decks. The humans ship was very plain with no artistic flair. Everything was solely for a purpose, and built to last. An Orion ships corridors may have been arrayed in a similar layout, they would have had beautiful curves and even aesthetically pleasing geometric patterns anywhere NOT needed for a system or station. Most doors they passed had numbers or weird letters and sometimes both.
They were eventually led to what Sargent Crom called a "Mess Hall" and shown a rather large room with the designation 104-B right next to the mess hall that was arrayed with bunks and two lockers at the end of each set of beds. Their group was informed on meal time's, shown how to access the necessities and then went through the debriefing. All in all Lori found the ordeal to be over within a few hours.
Everyone had been processed and she had even received a fancy bracelet and shown how to access it's basic functions. It was a small personal data chit! This would have cost her nearly two year's of pay back on Farcee. The Sol Alliance had already integrated the Orion language and alphabet into their system so she could see many of the other Orion's sitting about the mess hall reading whatever had caught their attention on the Sol "Internet". She had picked a table away from everyone, her thoughts on the current situation she found herself in warring with the sorrowful memories of the last few cycles. She picked at the plate of something she couldn't even start to identify but the woman with the white cap had called it "goulash", remembering when she had been picked to get on one of the three ships. Her mother, father, and older siblings had not been picked.
She had just had her name day and been granted permission to participate in the great matching ceremony that essentially would allow her to start her family and pick a suitable mate. She was at the temple of Hal'Ick having just donated the required amount of fauxauall and tuardanium which had taken a year to procure and received her license when it was reported the first Swarm ships had dropped off freighter's from the Sagoth Brood system and landed on Farcee's southern continent.
A low growl escaped as she remembered the news reports and the images of the butchered Orion's. Initially the authorities had thought the Brood ships were unsuspecting host's, having unwittingly carried them into the Orion system. They mostly thought this because the freighter's didn't run after the Swarm ships detached from their hulls and dropped into the atmosphere.
No they had instead waited for most of the Farcee home fleet to be busy trying to intercept a dozen large asteroids that had suddenly been detected moving from the outer system directly into Farcee's orbital path. Once the main force was occupied with the asteroids the freighter's, which were the old long haul sublight hulls with modified hyper drives allowing them to use the Gates had suddenly blown out sections of their own hulls revealing some sort of new plasma cannons that where already spooled up and aimed at the unsuspecting orbital defense platforms and to everyone's horror the two platforms that defended the Farcee FTL Gate. The view of the combined Varille, Sagoth Brood, and the Swarm fleets exiting out of the gate and descending on the Farcee home fleet and their brave sacrifice to allow as many civilians to escape would forever be burned into her memory. As well as the image of Farcee in ruins as the three ships ladden with skeleton crews and as many civilians of "viable" reproductive age as the Regent could get into the new experimental ships. (They had been sitting behind the second moon Boida along with the destroyer Kaighan, and 5 other cruisers which were shredded trying to defend them in side the FTL lains, so they were the only military ships able to respond to the Regents evacuation call along with many brave merchant ships which probably didn't make it.) She had taken a few bites and found herself savoring the "goulash", it was quite good!
"Mind if I join you?" Came a deep baritone voice.
She looked up and to her surprise, standing in front of her on the other side of the table was a bipedal humanoid with two small patches of fur on it's definitely primate like face. He wore a black and grey military fatigues with a black hexagonal patch prominently displaying three stripes and a delta insignia on his grey collar. After an uncomfortable moment of her staring into his bright blue eyes she replied, "Yes......yes of course." She gestured to the bench on the other side of the table. How had she understood him?!
"Thanks." He sat down and extended a hand over his food. "Names Tim, Tim Reynolds"
She had seen this greeting on her data chit and tentatively took his hand to "shake" it up and down slightly in the alien's weird greeting gesture. Why couldn't they just flick their ears like her people? "Lori." was all she replied. She hadn't chosen a mate yet so in her culture she couldn't take a second name.
He sat down and began to eat. She had wondered how the utensils wrapped in some sort of soft fiber pressed into a sheet where used. She had known basically what the dull knife was, (though why it was dull still escaped her!) She had figured the pronged instrument was for stabbing but without context and with a dull knife, she had resorted to what every other Orion had opted to do. What was natural, they had used their finger's. But seeing Tim use them she quickly adapted and before long had the basics down on holding them and their use.
"So where are you from?" He asked, before taking a bite of his food.
Her mind immediately went to the last image of her home planet she had seen through the viewport. She knew she had only been let on a ship because she had been lucky. She had been grabbed, scanned, and crammed into one of the ships. "Farcee." She said meekly remembering the craters that had been once beautiful cities suspended above a vibrant purple rainforests on massive supports. She could still see the plasma burning large swaths of it as they obliterated strong points the Orion army had set up to at least slow the bug's ground assault. No warning, no declaration of war. No reason given. One moment the Orion's were long standing trade partners with the Hive Confederacy, the next they are locked in full scale war.
The worst part had been nobody could reach the Vatt system, the next Orion inhabited system and a naval outpost to warn them. And of the dozen courier ships sent out to ask our "allies" for assistance, none was received before they had finally escaped the system through an old very rarely used gate, but had been heading away from Orion space.
The man cleared his throat and in a solemn tone said, "Uhhh, sorry Lori. I didn't mean to bring up any bad memories." He rubbed the back of his neck clearly at a loss as to what to say and she still couldn't understand how she could understand him?!
"How can I understand you?" She asked. "And you can understand me?" He just nodded at the last part as he stuck a small tube through a juice box and slurped a couple times as he appeared to be deep in thought.
"Yep. Whenever you were issued your communicator," he pointed at her's, "did you feel a small prick as you synched it tight?" As she nodded now looking at her communicator he continued. "That was your standard personal nanites." She looked up puzzled by the word.
"Nanites?" She asked. She had never heard of whatever that was. The briefing had said that they had or would received them, but not where or how, or what they where.
Taking the question for what it was Tim began. "They are microscopic robots programmed to automatically repair damaged tissue, fight diseases, and viruses common through out known space. As soon as they entered your bloodstream they began reproducing and will lay dormant there until needed. Since I have my own nanites, we can communicate without much delay. To an outsider, without nanites, you are speaking your native language and I am speaking English. But we hear the words and to a minor extent feel what some psychic races say."
She stared at him for a moment, processing what he had just told her. These people were years ahead of her's in technology! She looked back down at the data chit and said, "Amazing." That was all she could get out as not a heartbeat later a proximity claxon wailed as a mechanical female voice chimed, "WARNING! Proximity Alert. Unidentified hostile ship detected." It repeated itself. All the Orion's in the mess hall were looking around nervously as others rushed out, she assumed to hurry to their duty stations. Tim though didn't budge.
He just casually slurped his juice box and absently typed something a few times on his communicator and he was suddenly looking at a screen depicting the outside of the ship. It wasn't disorienting because there was no "up" or "down" in space. Only where you or your target where in relation to each other.
She could see a sleek black spider like craft on his projected screen. It's engines at full burn as it headed towards what looked like another FTL Gate. This Gate was very busy and Lori could see cargo freighter's lined up in que, a greenish blue planet with pink splotches in the background./
"What the hell is that?" Tim asked no one in particular. She remembered seeing these ships above Farcee, or actually dropping onto it in a sneak attack.
"I think that is a swarm ship! By all the reports from the ground back on my home planet that ship has several queens on board and an entire battalion of Broodlings! " She was still looking at his communicators holographic image, and the planet in the background. "You can't let them reach a planet!" Her voice suddenly rising in a panic. If that ship reaches that planet there wouldn't be any way of stopping the Brood from establishing a colony. And once a single colony was established, they would begin systematically stripping the planet of biomass to rapidly increase their numbers, becoming a plague of the worst kind.
"Oh they aren't going anywhere." He extended his arm to provide her a better angle as a silver winged vehicle zipped by closely followed by three more. Lori could tell the Broodlings ship was much larger than the silver ship's but the United Sol ships were quickly gaining on the much larger enemy ship. Soon one of the silver ship's shot the spider like ship with what looked like a laser. One shot and she could see it's sublight engines splutter and fail. Within a few heartbeats three of the four appeared to "attach" themselves to the larger spider like vessel of the Broodlings. "Those Marines just had their day made. They get to play for a change instead of being stuck on ship." He chuckled as she caught the glint of his canine's as he smiled a definite predatory smile.
"Those are Broodlings and potentially a few of their Varille allies." She gulped. "They tore our defenses apart. They are very dangerous, you should warn them!" She looked back at the communicator. "Even these 'Marines' deserve a chance to live!"
"Calm down miss," Tim said with a sudden grin spreading wider across his face if it was possible, his white teeth flashing. "I can almost guarantee you that the scariest thing in that cluster of ships is the Terran Marines." He started shaking his head. "No, those poor bastards are having more fun than they have had in a few cycles."
The certainty in his voice and his demeanor caused her to relax somewhat. Just how strong was this Sol Alliance she wondered as she watched the communicator and finished her "goulash". She found it quite good compared to the minimal rations she had been eating on the Orion ship. She couldn't help but wonder yet again as to just what kind of people were these humans? Had they found an ally or would the U.S. Alliance end up being where her people's story ended.
Looking across the table at the young human slurping on his juice box she couldn't help but wonder which way this would go.

First
Lori watched the shuttle gently grasp their life pod with some sort of tractoring tech.
What was natural, they had used their finger's. But seeing Tim use them she quickly adapted and before long had the basics down on holding them and their use.

The worst part had been nobody could reach the Vatt system, the next Orion inhabited system and a naval outpost to warn them.

Problem importing .fbx mesh from Blender
Hi, As mentioned in the title, I am trying to import a skeletal mesh into unreal in .fbx format from blender. This is not my creation, I have found this asset on a website. However when I try to import the mesh, the wheels get deformed.
The hierarchy is as follows.
  • The body is the parent.
  • The wheels are individual child components to the body.
  • additionally a miniscule cube is child to each wheel, to help with physics implementation during the unreal process, However I haven't gone that far due to the mesh issue.

Animation COMP graphs missing
Hey, so I was using the animation COMP, when apparently out of nowhere all my graphs dissapeared from the grid. They're still running, but I can´t edit them, because they´re just not.... there? I´m really confused, if someone could help it would be very appreciated.

2024.05.30 16:21 BigHeadDjango Series 34 Week 2 - Autumn Seasonal Tunes! (Horizon Retrowave) by BigHedDjango

Hello everyone! BigHedDjango here, tunes for this week to help you out.
Weekly photo: https://i.imgur.com/PYDqaVK.png
All feedback on tunes is appreciated - good or bad. Specially when tunes are bad. At the end of the day I am just the mechanic and you guys are the racers. Do not hesitate irrespective of your tuning knowledge or racing skills!
Tuning method: 1. Stock look - stock wheel rims and size, no aero (unless absolutely necessary for handling and stability) 2. Tuned for automatic/manual players by not skipping clutch+gearbox upgrades 3. Max performance with max handling possible 4. All cars tuned vs. Unbeatable AI, tracks/weather conditions are now unknown since time travel no longer works. Since release AI has been inconsistent between many car types and weather conditions, not every car will win 10/10 races vs Unbeatable AI without rewind/restart abuse 5. Bodykit used if it does not hurt performance
