The first rule is that Ricoh’s “engineering group” can be thought of as a parent company to all these brands. As such they have their own name and model numbers, and then they get re-branded and models renamed under the different bands.
So the trick is find the “real” model number. It’s usually a 4-digit code starting with a letter and 3 numerals.
If you’re looking at the copier, just go to the serial number sticker. There will also be a code somewhere in there is the following format:
A000-00
A000-0000
All you need is the first 4 digits. Then search for “A000 Service Manual” or “A000 Parts Catalog.”
For example a Ricoh MP C2003 had a code of “D176-27.” Easy.

Hello! I’m not entirely sure if this is an issue or just a missing feature. But I come from other art programs where the eyedropper tool will immediately snap back to the previous brush you were using after selecting a color. And I won’t lie it’s kinda driving me crazy that I need to manually swap back to the other tool after every usage, especially since it’s very instinctive for me at this point.
For details, I’m somewhat familiar with using shortcuts but I do not know them for clip studio specifically. How to Download/Acquire The Sims 2
There is no legal way to digitally purchase the Sims 2. It is considered abandonware, and thus the ethics of downloading are murky. But that said, the game is amazing, and EA would be making buckets if they just released it. Now, I do suggest you use a VPN and a trusted source to get the game.Note: even if you “own” the sims 2 for Origin or the disks, I still suggest a pirated/cracked version. The game is no longer supported, and thus, not really that stable without being cracked and a bunch of mods. It might seem a little weird to pirate something you own, but in my experience this is the best results.
If you’re playing on Mac, you can just buy The Sims 2 from the Apple app store (it does not include all EPs due to EA never selling Aspyr the rights). I’ve purchased and tested it on my old macbook and it runs fine. Aspyr provides regular updates. If you have an M2 mac, I am not sure if they are updated yet, but they likely will.

3. I downloaded the game but nothing loads, what now?
The Sims 2 came out in 2004 and was last updated around 2009. Due to this, the graphics card listed in the game’s files do not include your graphics card. You can manually add these or use the convenient program “Graphics Rules Maker” or the solution from Lazy Duchess below these questions. Whichever you choose is up to you. You can also toy around with compatibility settings to make the game work better.4. How do I make the game windowed fullscreen?
You can create a desktop shortcut for the game and then add the following to the end of the shortcut to open it.-w -r1280x720
For example: "C:\Program Files\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\Fun with Pets\SP9\TSBin\Sims2EP9.exe" -w -r1920x1080
This code is placed OUTSIDE of the “quote”.
You can also toy with other resolutions, but your mileage may vary on whether or not it works smoothly. Different computers and graphics cards can provide different results.
5. Sims 2 takes 5-10 minutes to load, what’s happening?
Some graphics cards (common with AMD), take time to load sims even after changes have been made to the graphics rules. If you also have an integrated graphics card, you can go into Windows 10/11 display advanced settings and choose your other card. Doing this can increase stability in these instances. Since the game is much older, your integrated graphics card should have no problem running the game.6. My game loaded but the neighbourhood/sims/floors/etc are now flashing purple, what do I do?
The sims community has affectionately named this “purple soup”. Updating the graphic rules and having the 4 GB patch usually fixes this, but not always. In this instance, I suggest you use the Lazy Duchess Sims2RPC for your installation, you can find that below. And then Mr. Music Teacher randomly dropped on us that the piece needed to have a percussion part, and that the percussion part needed to "complement" the melody (he didn't tell us what "complement" actually meant, aside from the fact that it disallowed just having a single drum hit at the beginning or end as your "part"; and, in fact, when I looked up what "complement" in musical terms meant the few different answers I got had nothing to do with percussion parts). I was annoyed, because I already liked how my random melody sounded and didn't want to mess it up by adding a drum piece- so, I decided that if I wasn't going to enjoy how it sounded anymore no one would, and I set about at setting up more malicious compliance.
My drum part was: Constant 16th note hits on bass drum, snare drum, and cymbal, which played throughout all 50 measures. Ive been doing concert work for a while now and I feel like it is time to upgrade my Canon Digital Rebel XT. I want to stay in the EF / EF-S ecosystem however Im so out of touch that I have no idea what the landscape looks like.
Im looking for cameras that are more onto "functionality" than image quality.
The main pain points of my current camera are:
While having an image quality boost will of course be a gurantee given how old my camera is, Im looking more for cameras that can take a beating and have a lot of control (and, faster burst). Ive created a workflow with the constraints of the digital rebel (8mp, extremely high CCD sensor noise) and ive managed just fine with it using darktable, its everything else that pisses me off about the camera

- I only get 5 shots of burst before I get sent to buffer hell (this is HUGE as I do work for the metal scene in my city where everyone moshes)
- Burst shots are only like 1.5 frames per second (also huge problem)
- The controls feel very slippery sometimes, I always end up accidentally fiddling with exposure and activating self timer mode
- No digital viewfinder, everything I do has to be done with the reflex mirror viewfinder
- only limited to 1600 iso (i shoot a lot in the dark)
- AF sucks

Capcom VS. SNK 2. One of my favorite videogames alongside Touhou Eiyashou ~ Imperishable Night and Final Fantasy VI!
In that game, before selecting your team of either one, two or three characters, you're given the choice of choosing one of six "Grooves".
Each Groove contains a different gauge along with different gameplay mechanics all taken from various Capcom and SNK games:
C-Groove: Based on the A-Sim Gauge from Street Fighter Alpha 3, this Groove can carry up to three levels. Each level with be based on the strength of the Super Combo once performed: Lv. 1 is the weakest with Lv. 3 being the strongest. When you perform a Lv. 2 Super Combo, you can also cancel it into a special move or Lv. 1 Super Combo (This is the ONLY Groove where you can perform a Lv. 2 Super Combo).
A-Groove: Based on the V-Sim Gauge from Street Fighter Alpha 3, once you fill up the Gauge, at the press of both Heavy Punch and Heavy Kick Buttons, you're able to perform a Custom Combo where you're able to perform any attack without worrying about any end lag. Custom Combos have a timer of course. You can also use Lv. 1 Super Combos only when using this Groove.
P-Groove: Based on the Super Combo Gauge from Super Street Fighter II Turbo, this Groove carries AND only let's you perform one Lv. 3 Super Combo one filled. To compensate for this, you can Parry most attacks like in the Street Fighter III games.
S-Groove: Based on the Extra Gauge from The King of Fighters '97 and '98, this Groove let's you manually charge up a Power Meter by holding down both Heavy Punch and Heavy Kick buttons. Once filled up, you can perform a Lv. 1 Super Combo. You can also perform countless Lv. 1 Super Combos while you're at low health. A Lv. 3 Super Combo can only be performed once you're at low health AND the Power Meter is filled up.
N-Groove: Based on the Advanced Gauge from KOF '97 and '98, this Groove carries a Power Meter that holds up to three Stocks. Each Stock is used to either perform a Lv. 1 Super Combo or Power yourself Up via pressing both Heavy Punch and Heavy Kick. When Powered Up, your attack power improves for a limited time and you can perform a Lv. 3 Super Combo while in that state.
K-Groove: Based on the Rage Gauge from Samurai Shodown, this Gauge ONLY fills up as you take damage. Once filled up, you automatically enter Rage which boosts your attack power. You can also perform the Lv. 3 Super Combo during Rage. Rage ends once it's own timer is up or when you perform the Lv. 3 Super Combo. In addition to the Rage Gauge, you can Just Defend most attacks like in Garou: Mark of the Wolves (Unlike Parrying, Just Defending can make you heal a bit of health once you perform a successful Just Defend).
With all that covered it's time to ask you all this question: If you're favorite Touhou character is playable in Capcom VS. SNK 2 OR better, your favorite Touhou character is playing like a CVS2 Character in MUGEN, which Groove would you use for your favorite Touhou character and why?
Though I'm more proficient in N-Groove, I would give Yukari K-Groove. Train Super from Soku with Rage FTW. Alternatively, Yukari can also work in N-Groovd since both N-Groove and K-Groove have their own ways in improving attack power.

I've been a lurker on this subreddit for some time and have seen multiple requests for a Discord community that encourages open discussion that is intelligent, respectful, and mindful of different ways to practice The Course. One of the complaints was that communities tend to become echo chambers where people are excluded when interpretations or preferred teachers differ.
I've been using Discord since its release 9 years ago and have managed multiple servers, some with 25k+ members. I felt compelled to build a server that would scale appropriately should it become community hub for students. I've framed the rules to discourage cliques and heated debates/arguments.
A few things that I believe will make it a great place for people that prefer to use Discord:

A few things that I believe will make it a great place for people that prefer to use Discord:
- There are forums with prompts that are updated daily & weekly from the Text, Workbook, and Manual to encourage habitual reflection and discussion
- A server Library has been created to provide a catalog of the different resources (physical & digital) that members will share throughout the different discussions
- A social area for members to share and discuss the different ways they practice ACIM
I would love for this to become a place where people can find ACIM support and friendship in their daily lives. Here are some wish list items that I would love to implement if the community grows:
- Virtual book clubs
- Monthly Q&A interview series of teachers that the community wants to interact with
- Course study groups that meet throughout the week in the server (both text and/or voice chat)
- Artist/creative showcase to support how members express their ACIM practice
