I’m 27 and always loved skateboarding as a whole since I was kid , I’ve been in and out of it for years and recently of as this year I decided to pick it up again . One thing i can say is skateboarding is so hard but I love it so much. I go everywhere apart from work with my board and been making great process but still slow in some aspects but I’m okay with the progression I’m going at. I’ve built my own set up too which I’m proud of
This Sunday me & my best mate of 16 years ( he rollerskates) went to this really cool spot near a football stadium ( I’m from London btw ) and had a great time. we was both trying new stuff and just enjoying the time we spent together spent atleast 6hours skating and travelling from spot to spot. I’m still learning how to Ollie while moving getting better everyday !! I was also doing a manuals, manual taps and learning how to slappy and ride goofy (switch).
I had this amazing idea to go down a little hill pathway doing a coffin and honestly it was the most fun I’ve had in a long time, got my mate to try it too.
Since I’ve been skateboarding I’ve met so many cool pple in the skateboarding , bmx , roller skating and scooter community . made a few friends along the way too. Skateboarding gives me this sense of peace and happiness my mental health is a lot better too. I don’t think I’ve experienced that in in such a long time I’m just happy now. Met this really cool girl too and now we are dating& I’m teaching her how to skate also :)
To anyone who’s just learning how to skate whatever age u find yourself at or is thinking to give up , just have fun with it and enjoy yourself . progress will be up and down sometimes I’ve had a few of those. Aslong you’re enjoying skating you’ll keep going. Don’t put so much pressure on yourself go at your own pace.
Also cos of this thread I’ve made some cool ass friends too on. If you’re from London and want to skate message me and we have a little session. I’m based in north but more than happy to travel too :)

Hi everyone! 4 years ago, when I was 18 I was convicted of 3 theft related misdemeanors for return fraud. I was given a term of 12 month probation which I was able to complete at the 75% mark at 9 months, immediately after that I applied for set asides on all convictions and have obtained them. Since then I’ve gone out and just graduated with my bachelors degree in Computer Science and overall have been doing pretty well besides the hard ships that have come along with having theft related misdemeanors at my age. I was passed for a couple internships along the way due to my criminal history , one apartment as well, and thankfully was able to land two internships during the last year during my senior year of college, that has now ended and I am now being thrown into the job search in this terrible job market, along with the criminal history.
Something that I’ve been waiting for a while is putting in my application to the Board of Pardons and getting a pardon, and ultimately a sealed record. I’ve had my eye set on a pardon since the day I was convicted, doing volunteer work at my church as well as helping out during the Covid relief at food banks, along with graduating with 4.0 GPA, I wanted to prove to the board (at the time it was Rickets, I heard he was giving pardons left and right) that I was giving back to the community and staying productive. I called many law firms and it seems like they aren’t doing cases for pardons, they all say Nebraska isn’t granting many do to our governor not being a “forgiving” or believes in second chances so that was pretty crushing and I’m honestly feeling pretty bummed due to the mistakes I made when I was 18 following me for awhile. My main question is, does anyone think it’s worth it to put my application in myself or should I wait til there is legislation change? I personally really hope that one day, Nebraska like many other states allows expungement.

Read all the emails, found out about BH and the Watcher and the Visitor, as well as the storage lot outside. Then, in the storage lot where you find the board with the picture of Jensen and Vega, there's a couple of extra clues that seem to be a dead end. The last one is on the back of this bench next to Palisade park. I've gone to all three and explored the area but can't see anything relevant at any of them. As well as this, there's no mention of them in Vadim or Madame Photographe's emails. The locations they mark don't seem to have any connection. The only thing I can think of is that the mark outside TechNoir is covered by a screen which isn't there in the clue image found in the storage locker. Because of this, I'd say these clues were potentially added kind of early on by the devs and then forgotten about as they continued to design the city. Maybe they intended to add more detail like a point of interest or something. Sinasabi nya lagi na gusto nya magenjoy ng college dahil hindi niya naranasan sa highschool yun dahil homeschool siya. I have been using my boyfriend’s old iPad for a work thing - with his permission - and downloaded a file but at the same time saw several downloaded pictures of him and his ex-wife of 4 years doing various sexual acts. Normally he would have the benefit of the doubt, he’s not used the iPad for a while but the timestamps of the images were of last month. They are clearly old pictures (she looks a lot different now).
I asked him if we need to talk about some images I found in his files and of course he at first tried to play them off with “they are old pictures” and the classic “I have no idea how they got there” until I mentioned the timestamps.
He broke down and said he’s been looking at pictures of her on his phone (and his iCloud must have synced to the iPad) and it’s a purely sexual ‘fantasy’ about his past with no emotions or attachment. He said he feels so guilty but he just hasn’t been able to bring himself to delete them or stop masturbating to them.
He’s made very clear that he isn’t attracted to his ex in the present at all (she’s gained lots of weight and acts like a completely different person) but says it’s like his wife died and there is a stranger in her place now and it’s his wife that he has felt sexually attracted to.
I just feel really disrespected right now. I just can’t unsee those images. Am I being unreasonable? I feel like the fact that he can’t bring himself to delete these pictures does show an emotional attachment and brings me to wondering if he is even ready for a long term relationship despite his break up being 2+ years ago and my relationship with him for almost a year now.

Never really catched my eye tbh. submitted by Lexie_DK to Sims4 [link] [comments] I got the Mermaid overhaul mod, and started a new save, aiming for Paka'a Uha as a future hubby, because I read here that he makes gorgeous babies.... And he just HATES my sim. Regardless if I cheated them to match, and cheated up their relationship bar, it would just TANK, as he apparantly disliked any friendly approach my sim did lol. After 28 Sim days (long life) I gave up with that idea, and then my Sim met Uku, while he was working as a bartender, and they hit it off immidiately. He became her boyfriend, and was so for a very long time without being in the household, without ever cheating not even once. They had a lot of sleepovers and dates, but he didn't move in till they got married, and soon after that they started to have kids. (and I sat life on normal) Not only is this guy the most loving Sim husbond I have ever had in game, he is also the best dad without a doubt (sorry Galvin Richards, you lost your first place). I was actually surpriced about all that, what a hidden gem. I am mostly controlling just my own sim, so a lot of his interactions with the kids is of his own accord or them asking him. I am however a little worried about how his kids will turn out - but I guess I'll find out soon enough. But yeah, here's some pictures of this baby daddy, that really surpriced me. You guys should give this NPC a chance some day :D Uku and my sim Uku is a great dad, who autonomusly spend a lot of time with his kids, so much so that he got the childish trait. I don’t know what to do, I use LinkedIn, apply for jobs, like entry level jobs that don’t require experience. No one considers me. I have a little experience before my break to raise my kids which i am honest about on my CV. I graduated from university in 2017 and have had 3 jobs since 2012. It’s not a ton of experience and my last role was an internship but I have no idea why no one is getting back to me? I’ve even registered with recruitment agencies but no one has got in touch? I feel like a failure as I’m approaching 30 and feel like I’m not even worth any consideration. Any tips? I’m looking for part or Flex Time but I’m still applying for full time.

looking for some feedback on how to improve this [[king of the oathbreakers]] equipment deck
the idea is to equip equipment on KotO and protect him using single mana removal to make him phase out enabling him and his equipment to survive just about anything from wipes to his items getting targeted
played it a few times but noticed that while i draw a decent amount of cards i struggle to draw alot of equipment fast leading to KotO being way smaller than he should be
tried to fill it a solid mana base with some tutors to make sure i can get the right equipment
what im struggling with is that it feels like theres not much more room for removing cards without sacrificing either safety or consistency but yet i am really lacking in board wipes and sorceries
i play on cockatrice so the budget dosent matter at all

We had a beloved nanny for a little less than a year who just moved to go to to graduate school (across the country).
We had a beautiful emotional parting on both sides and promised to stay in touch.
I’m wondering if this was you what you’d hope that would look like. I already find myself wanting to send photos and videos but it’s only been a week and I don’t want to be intrusive.
Also, if I’m being totally honest, it feels like I lost a friend I used to chat with daily but I have no idea if the feeling is mutual. I was surprised how sad I was!
Any tips for what “staying in touch” means to you? We all really miss her but I don’t want to overstep either.
