Ok, so as the title already states (and to elaborate more) I am applying to the Brevard County Sheriff's Office in Brevard County Florida. I already went to my interview and got accepted pending my background check. I have already made my account on Guardian, as well as accepted their invitation.
Now I am stuck on one portion of the PHQ. It states "
There are quite a few exes, that either I have blocked them, or vice versa in all forms. Understandably, the ones I blocked have a simple solution of unblocking them. Explaining the situation to them, and asking them for the needed information. The conundrum I face is the ones that have me blocked, and I have no truly feasible way of contacting.
I have tried personal records search engines on google, and have gone through a number of them over the last hour, only to come up on them all requiring payment with no guarantee that the results will be a positive match to each listed ex.
So I am wondering if there is any tips, resources, advice, etc that any of you may have for getting through this section of the PHQ with some shred of my sanity left.

I thought I was transparent about my faith identity but it’s honestly hard for me to be honest with myself: the church is so beautiful yet so troubling with its history and some policies.
After the third date it was clear to her that I am still somewhat in. She decided this wasn’t for her.
No hard feelings and like the title says, I can’t even blame her.
But I feel alone and somewhat hopeless. Not even my family cares for church anymore.

I (28F) met my boyfriend (28M) when I was 27, we were co-workers. We were introduced by my manager who thought we would be a great match since we had the same interests and lived very close to each other. I decided to give him a chance regardless and then fell in love with him and dated for 4 months. One day random day, he drunk texted me saying that his bestfriend told him to break up with me because he wasn't good for me, and then, he proceeded to ghost me for the following 3 days until he hit me up with the "we need to talk" message. He arrived to my apartment and said he didnt want to have anything serious, he was only hurting me and that all I could get from him was being friend with benefits but nothing more. I said no, and he left my apartment.
A few months later, I ran into him at a party, I didnt want to talk to him, but things escalated and we ended up sleeping together that night and for the following 3 days, but we didn't get back together since I didnt want to get involved emotionally with him again.
He reached back to ask me for a favor, and we ended up sleeping together again, and so he asked me for a second chance, I was hesistant but I agreed. During our first interactions, he kept calling me Nancy (one of his ex's name), and I just ignored him when he did, because I thought our names were kind of smilar and it was an an honest mistake.
One night we were hanging out and he was getting messages from Nancy thanking him for buying her a toy. I thought it was odd, because he had broken up with her a year ago, but I didnt say much about it because I didnt want to seem toxic. Later on, we went to visit his mom, and she kept calling me Nancy, I got really mad but didnt say anything. His mom apologized and told me she just couldn't keep up with all the girls names he had been dating and that she didn't want me to think he was dating us all at the same time. He said, she was an old friend from middle school who needed a favor and needed to come over to his apartment because her job was close to his apartment, which I asked how did she know he lived close to her job, if they hadn't seen each for years. He then told me they had dated and she had cheated on her boyfriend with him. I was very uncomfortable with this entire interaction, but I knew I couldnt do or say much if he wanted to talk or help this "friend".
A few days later, I had told him that I was struggling with my mental health again, and I was going to be having a harder time to attend to his family's gatherings and other events since I could barely get out of bed. Hello,
As the title states metal detecting has become my dad’s new hobby. We are located in Los Angeles and he’s been going at it for a little while and hasn’t found much besides some small coins / empty shells (ammunition). I know we shouldn’t expect much and just have fun with it but I think he’s getting a tad disappointed with his finds.
I have a home in Big Bear and they’re LA, so I was wondering if anyone knows a cool site / river / running water / lake / creek we can go to and maybe sorta kill 2 birds with one stone.. nice beautiful hike & some metal detecting for my dad? Nothing too hard as he’s not able to really go boldering of sorts.

- I haven’t been posting for the last month due to time constraints plus a little bit of burnout. I’ve been trying to be realistic with my upload schedule but I’ve come to realize that even uploading two posts a day becomes exhausting after a while especially since I want to watch and enjoy these videos too. I plan on returning in June though since I want to continue this archiving process.
- I’ve decided to change one of the rules and make this sub mod-only for uploading files. I really wanted this sub to be open to the community but most people don’t seem too interested or, if they are, they upload files the wrong way and it’s a bit of a pain to reorganize everything. Not that I don’t trust people but … wow, some of you can’t follow basic directions. I understand that there have been some issues with users not being able to find the “post flair”, which is fine since the layout for whatever reason doesn’t want to show it for some users and I could always just manually add it myself as a mod anyway. However, I’ve already seen several people messing up titles (and there haven’t been too many users posting besides myself) and it’s like … either title it correctly or don’t bother posting ? It just feels annoying sometimes.
- I’m not gonna recategorize the wiki by date since I don’t have the time for it lol. I barely understand how to make pages on it so I’m not interested in messing up the whole thing, especially if it’s simply meant to be one massive reference page for people who are searching for certain poops in mind.
- And last but least, I’ve decided to make this update today since I just discovered that one of my favorite YTPers just got their channel terminated about a month ago :( . I’m not gonna list names due to privacy (or even relevancy, as I want these update posts to ONLY be about this sub) but I did want to bring it up due to its sudden occurrence. This isn’t the first it’s happened but every time it does, it becomes more and more apparent why I even felt the need to create this sub to begin with. It was even stated in the welcoming post about this sub’s purpose : to save YTPs not only for archival purposes but from the threat of deletion as well. Luckily in this case, the YTPer in question decided to open up another channel and post their new YTPs there as well as some reuploads (including some that I’ve already archived here). But ultimately, it’s these types of incidents that really reinforce the need to continue this ever-growing collection of vulgar and bizarrely edited videos lol.

As the title suggests, I shared with my mom and dad about some abuse I received as a child. Background. I am 28 (m) and currently living back with my parents to save for a home. This has been great for our relationship as I feel closer than I ever have. Today we discussed my struggles with some relationships in my life and how my brother and I’s relationship has been fractured recently. My mom brought up at one point about how she regrets telling her children about her abuse she suffered as a child at the hand of her step-father. She told us when we were young adults, she thinks this is why my brother has separated himself. She asked if this is why I also struggle with our family bond and I said no. She asked what struggles my past relationships have had on myself and why I am struggling at dating currently. I told her no and that I’ve been working on myself and addressing past trauma to move forward. (I’m focused on saving and building a life independently before pursing a relationship) She asked and I told her that my childhood friend abused me as a child and that it had really made physical contact tough. I have since addressed that and I am aware of how it has affected me. It was 20 years ago and I’ve spent the last 10 years focusing on understanding what that trauma means to me. It’s been brought up in my past relationships but never shared this information with my parents. The friend in question added me on the socials after 15 years of no contact and I haven’t responded. I felt I needed to talk with my family about my issues before talking with him.
I’m asking for advice because my mom is taking all the responsibility for me being abused. She says her whole life she wanted to avoid the cycle continuing and wishes she never told me. I’ve told her how much her opening up helped me and how much I respect and love her. She truly is one of my best friends. How can I make her understand she didn’t fail me and that it’s not her fault. We were located within contra costa county which was home to many rolling hills and oak trees, I lived with my older brother who was 14 at the time and my parents. We resided in a large home with two stories on the top of a hill where we like often be greeted with the pleasant ocean breeze from the nearby San Francisco Bay. Sometimes, we were greeted with something else, something far less pleasant than ocean breeze. This is the story of the thing
When I was 12 years old, I’d always love to lay my eyes on the beautiful view from our home. I’d sometimes sit for hours just embracing everything I could see. Today was a beautiful day, the clouds were mild and soft, and the sky was bright and full of the signature breeze. As I woke up, I walked down to the kitchen to grab some breakfast where I was greeted by a wonderful sweet smell. “ Hi Matthew, “ my mother said sweetly as she’d always been,

I was immediately excited as waffles were my favorite thing ever, so I dashed over to the large island to eat my breakfast.

Every once in a while, we would ride our bikes to long distance to the Briones Regional Park, which was a beautiful expanse of rolling hills and trails. As she talked on the phone, I saw my brother come in and head into his bedroom where he sneakily picked up my mother’s fashion magazine. I rolled my eyes as I knew what he was doing but ignored it, I went up to my room to text my buddy Lucas on my Nokia.
“ Hey bro, “ I texted awaiting a response. About 5 minutes later I got a response.
“ Hey, my mom says I’ll come to your house at 1 o’clock so we can ride to Briones. “ I told him that he was right and I’d see him at 1 o’clock.
When he arrived, he was all ready with his backpack and everything. “ Hey! “ I called out excitedly. Lucas was a 12 year old fair skinned boy on the cusp of puberty with medium length brown hair and green eyes. We got up to our usual shenanigans until we finally got ready to get on our bikes. Until we saw the thing upon leaving the house.
Every once in a while, flickering lights could be seen from the hills of Briones which were an odd blue color. They were clearly visible and had an off putting presence.
“ What’s that? “ Lucas asked me.
“ Oh, we just see those lights every now and then, we don’t really know what it is. “
This didn’t concern us at the time and after about an hour of riding we finally arrived at one of the trails. We got off of our bikes and started our hike.

We started our usual hike to one of our favorite spots in the park which had a big oak tree where we would eat all the usual snacks. However as we were hiking, a familiar voice shouted. “ Hey! “

“ You forgot your backpack, here. “ He handed it to me and drove off before I could say anything.

The hike was beautiful, we crossed a lot of unmarked trails as where we usually went was deep in the park.
After around 45 minutes of hiking and doing our usual banter, we made it to the oak tree and laid out a picnic blanket.
“ Okay, I brought some snacks and water. “ Lucas commented. As we took out all of our food from our backpacks, I noticed one more thing, my mother’s magazine.
“ What’s that? “ Lucas asked.
“ How did this get here? “ I asked myself puzzled.
“ What is it though? “ Lucas asked me.
“ It’s one of my mom’s women’s fashion magazines, I saw Dallas grab it and head into his room, he must have accidentally left it here. “
Lucas quickly grabbed the magazine and said “ damn “ under his breath. Now that I look back at it it was a pretty normal magazine, but we were 12 going on 13 on the cusp of puberty, how could we resist?
“ Should we take a look? “ Lucas suggested.

I hadn’t got my hands on any magazine as it was the late 1990s and they were hard to find. So obviously I was invested as we flipped through the page. Until I felt a presence, almost threatening.

“ Do you feel that? “ I interrupted
“ Feel what? “ Lucas asked confused.
“ I don’t know, it just feels off. “

Before he could get a word out, I saw it. I saw the lights. They resembled a moth flying around a lamp. I felt like I was being punished almost, I had no idea why.

“ We are in the middle of this mag! Seriously Matthew? “

We got up and ran to the sight where the lights were seen. After about 10 minutes we saw a sign.

It was a tall sign that had the words “ Purificationem Statione praesmisit “ written on it. We had no idea what it meant.

Before Lucas could say anything, I pointed out a weird industrial looking box building surrounded by electric fence.
“ What is that.. “
I started to feel uneasy again, I felt a terrible sense of dread. Right when we got to the small gate, I heard a whisper right by my ear.

Park Hotels & Resorts Announces Final Results of Tender Offer
TYSONS, Va., May 16, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Park Hotels & Resorts Inc. ("Park") (NYSE: PK) announced today the expiration of and the final results for the previously announced offer to purchase for cash (the "Tender Offer") commenced by Park's subsidiaries, Park Intermediate Holdings LLC, a Delaware limited liability (the "Company"), PK Domestic Property LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, and PK Finance Co-Issuer Inc., a Delaware corporation (collectively, the "Issuers"), for any and all of their outstanding 7.500% Senior Notes due 2025 (the "Notes"). 2024.05.22 03:15 Resident-Platypus254 AITA for ditching my girlfriend because she had a dog with her while riding her motorcycle?
This weekend my girlfriend and I were supposed to meet up, but as the title states you can tell how that went.
She recently got her motorcycle license (we call it the M2 here in Ontario) and she told me she'd pick me up for our next date if we set up a meeting point. I made my way there via bus and just as I was about to pull up, so did she, just a second sooner than me. This is where I witness the problem and why said ditching happened... She had her cousin's pomeranian with her in a basket placed at the front of the motorcycle and immediately I sat back down and got as far as I could on the bus. It wasn't long before she clearly knew something was up with me not showing up as I had been texting her as I was commuting, but I guess that isn't too relevant.
My reason for ditching is this: I have very high doubts that riding with any animal in a manner like this is legal. I also have little reason to believe that I wouldn't be charged as a bystander, which I obviously woudln't want to happen and would look terrible on my records since I myself am an animal care attendant by profession. Maybe I wasn't thinking rationally but this was easier than putting myself in an awkward position altogether.
My girlfriend hasn't talked to me since the day of the event and I doubt we're still a thing... Whatever happens happens, I'd just like to know:

The first media key is Balance which is known as the foundation for all of the other media keys and is vital to understanding how to use the remaining six of the media keys correctly. When job recruiters or interviewers look at social media platforms there is a chance they can be looking to see if the profile has good balance. This means they will be looking at the media provided on the profile from all angles to try and see who the user truly is as a person and what their personality and work ethic could be like. This means that when posting, you too need to understand your use of social media and how what you are doing may look from an outside perspective.
