First of all, I'm so grateful for each person here who has shared about their experience with Ballet 5:8. I found ex58 after a random TikTok search one night last November, on the off chance anyone on TikTok had a negative experience there like I did. I found a series of videos from one ex-dancer at 5:8 who shared her experiences and mentioned this subreddit, and I debated about making a post for a while. Part of me was terrified that J would see it and figure out who I am and hate me even more for it (which is definitely my people-pleaser tendencies + trauma coming through), but I really don't care anymore. All I needed to do was move across the country to Chicago. What could possibly go wrong?

The First Red Flags
- Turnover Rate - While I was interviewing, my soon-to-be-boss (not J) mentioned that 5:8 had been looking for someone to fill this role for at least a year, but the past few people they had chosen to fill the role either left or moved on to other opportunities. Huh. Despite multiple different people filling the role, there seems to be a common denominator...wonder who...
- Salary & "Benefits" - My high-school-age brother, who worked as a cashier at Panera at the time, made slightly more than what I made as a salaried employee at Ballet 5:8. Oh, and health insurance? Definitely not. It's laughable. I know you're a non-profit organization, but if you're going to try to hire someone to promote your entire brand, you might want to consider paying them more than Panera.
- Love Bombing - During my second round of interviews and as they were preparing to tell me I got the job, I remember Julianna saying something similar to, "We've been searching and praying for this role to be filled for years and we've finally found you. You're the person we've been waiting and praying for." Yeah, yeah. It was music to my people-pleaser ears at the time, but deep down I knew it was a load of crap to get me to sign on and drink the B58 kool-aid.
- Job Description - They made it sound like I'd be managing and directing a team, which is something with which I did have prior experience. However, they failed to mention that the rest of the "team" was currently a product of their imagination and they were planning to one day hire more people to support my role. This part alone led to a vast amount of stress on my part and infinite expectations on J's, because at least they had one person now, rather than none. Maybe I'll tell some of those stories here someday, which make up the bulk of the horrors. They had absolutely no idea what they needed, but they had a precise vision for the miraculous outcome that would follow each project and task I was assigned. A massive TikTok following overnight! A whole perfect Wikipedia page! Becoming bigger and "more obnoxious marketing-wise" than Shen Yun! Yes, those were a few of the goals.
- BTN > College Graduation? Beyond the Nutcracker is ridiculous in my opinion, but unfortunately that's not what this is about. This is about the fact that Julianna & my (other) managedirect boss (who has since left 5:8) wouldn't let me go to my own college graduation ceremony because Ballet 5:8 was *far more important,* despite me requesting to attend my graduation 4+ months in advance and already making arrangements for a hotel, flights, and my grandparents to come. For context, I took summer classes and graduated during the summer term, so my university's next commencement was in December. Why did Julianna need me at 5:8 so desperately at that time? None other than to have me help operate the damn BTN ticket booth. I wish I could say I quit then and there when they told me I couldn't attend my graduation, but I stayed. My last day with Ballet 5:8 was working that Beyond the Nutcracker show, which otherwise would've been my graduation day.
- Merry Christmas By late Novembeearly December, I was completely broken. I couldn't sleep, I couldn't focus, I couldn't even cry anymore. I could, however, feel the most overwhelming sense of anxiety at the thought of giving my two-weeks notice. I will never forget the night I pressed the send button on that email, going directly to J and my boss. If I thought J's intimidation tactics during the previous 3.5 months had been hell, I hadn't seen anything yet. Unfortunately, the morning after I submitted my two-weeks notice was a work day, so I went in early and tried to prepare myself for J's rage. It came, but through snarky comments under her breath, rushing past me on her way into her office, the silent treatment, and multiple vague and dramatic messages in the all-staff Slack. "Nothing like a good punch to the gut right before Christmas!" Oh please. You've managed to control and/or traumatize an entire organization for years. Don't let me, a barely 20-year-old at the time, intimidate you. There's a grinch or scrooge joke in here somewhere. In brief, she didn't speak a word to me for the last two weeks of my time there.
- Chicago (Again) It's been a few years since Ballet 5:8. I moved back home. I'm married now. And I'm moving back to Chicago now. My husband's job is requiring us to move there for at least the next four years, and while I'm excited at the chance to redo my time in Chicago, I'm also terrified that the bad memories will be too much and I'll be living in fear the entire time. That being said, what were/are some of the things you've enjoyed in Chicago? I'm open to any recommendations. š

Currently been dating a doc in london since Christmas, shes a beautiful, hard working down to earth girl who graduated from a top 2 med school a year ago and is at the NHS. She wants to do the one where you dont interact with patients much ( radiology ? ) just with doctors and then go part time or 80% to focus on family.
We have spoken about work a fair bit and shes confident she has good work separation and wlb ( done at 5pm most days ). But there are days its bad and she gets only 1 weekedn off a month and 3ish days otherwise ( which she says is good ).
I found out she earns next to nothing despite being such a successful graduate and hard worker, this isnt a problem thankfully but it seems my research is saying doctors here never really earn well. Like if she goes all out she will prob barely break 100k which is fine since I can provide for us alone and I wfh but im wondering if this means I will become a househusband + cleaner + cook + provider + never get to see her since eveywhere I read / speak to says doctors are never free from work despite her saying this is something she is making sure to avoid.
We are both nigerian ( uk born ) but I just dont understand why being with a female doctor has such bad stigma compared to male ones. Like its absolutely overwhelming for me coming from tech to see just how bad the perception is from really progressive and supportive people I know both online and in person towards marrying a female doc.
So can any women shed some light on what its like being a doctor here in the uk, does going part time or doing what shes saying she will do actually give a person time with family. Are there potential issues that just doctors ( female ) ones have to deal with that I am unaware of.

I am going to be the captain of my school's nordic ski team, and I really want to shine as the best skier I can be. We race 5ks, not long distance races, so I need to train for shorter distance races. Running is nice but kind of boring to me, and I roller ski a good bit. My current training program looks something like this:
Sunday: big hike, 10-15 miles with 2-3k feet of gain
Monday: Rest day, yoga
Tuesday: Roller ski 1 hr, flats
Wednesday: Morning run, 3.5 miles tempo
Thursday: Mountain running, 5 miles and 1600 feet of gain
Friday: Rest day, strength/core
Saturday: Hike or 40 mins hilly roller ski tempo
This would be a good week with a cooperative work/school schedule. Usually I miss a day or two of cardio and do a strength session at home due to time. How does this program look? as many of you are, I am fuming with increase of rent prices, as my current roommate situation has become toxic and I unfortunately need to leave my apartment now. however, being a full-time student, my budget is tight making my choices almost none.
Iām wondering if anyone out there has a room/casita/basement in the dorchesteroxbury/south end area that would be open to renting it to me, either furnished or unfurnished, or a group of people that are looking for a final roommate. my budget would comfortably be $850/month + utilities, but iāll see what I can make work, but a private bedroom is a must.

My whole clan quit on me this week. They all quit for different reasons 1 for work, another for a trip with family, and even more quit because they saw others quit. As the title states, I'm looking for a day 1 team. I've played the game for 10 whole years, and for the last 3 day 1 sessions, my teammates have quit mid game. I've had horrible LFG memebers join troll then leave. Then, this time, I've spent the last year crafting every seasonal weapon I can. I am still working on raid weapons but have all the important (except forbearance. My clan hates that raid for some reason, but I do want and am trying for it). I've played since I was in high school. I'm 26 and a titan main. This game has meant a lot to me. It got me through a few hardships and made me some friends I would call family to this day. I'd love to get a team together that feels the same way after 10 years. I want to be there at the end. I want to see good or bad myself and others finishing a day 1 race.. if you yourself can't join, please. I'm begging to share it with ppl, so maybe I can get this team together. I (36F) am estranged from my Father. Or more, he quit speaking to me after I tried to hold him accountable for living a double life. Christmas morning of 2020 I saw on my father's phone that he was IG messaging a woman "Melisa" she was saying she was on her way to his hotel room and brought snacks. They told each other "I love you" and had nicknames for one another. This is a problem because my Father had been married to my mother for 40 years and was married to her still at the time. They were high-school sweethearts and he acted like they had a great marriage. He travels to one particular city for 2 weeks each month and that is where Melisa lives. She worked at the hospital where he was a Dr. I didn't say anything that morning because I didn't want to ruin Christmas for my mother and sister (40F). I confronted him the following day, he begged me not to tell my mother and he said he would end it. When I found out later that he did not, I told my mother and sister.
A lot came out following this. My father had been fired from the hospital, and was taking money out of his and my mother's home in order to pretend to my mother that he was still working at the hospital and getting a paycheck. He is a compulsive liar and has told people things including: he was injured in the war (he has never been to war), he played college football (untrue), he funded several companies (also untrue), he's a millionaire (def not true), he was on a Federal govt board of health (of course again untrue), etc. My parents got divorced because of this affair. It was also not the only affair he had during their marriage, as we would also learn.
My father was very abusive to my mother and myself when I was growing up, particularly in highschool (berating, screaming, vicious verbal abuse, gaslighting, threatening, etc). I begged my mom to leave him but she couldn't. My sister didn't experience as much of this because she was in college. I confronted my father after the divorce was final to tell him how unbelievably hurt I was by all of his actions. He said he would try to earn back my trust and rebuild our relationship. He began texting me semi-regularly with simple nice messages. It took a while, but eventually I began responding and telling him bits about my life and opening that door again. In Sept, I took a 3-month job out of the country (and told him so). I was very busy and didn't respond as frequently, however I did still respond. In December we texted off and on and on Christmas Eve and I sent a particular message wishing him a happy holiday. Fast forward the next day to Christmas Day and my father not only sent my sister a lavish gift, but also messaged her and not me. I asked him why and he did not respond. My sister asked him why and he proceeded to tell her that I had NEVER responded to his texts in the last year and that I had abused HIM by not texting him and for the things I said way back when I originally confronted him. Basically, made himself the victim in every which way. I of course, showed my sister all the texts I had sent to him to show her that he was lying about this.
He continues to only message her and has not texted me since that day (Christmas Eve 2023). I am beyond hurt by this, it feels like I am hurt all over again by everything. It makes me angry and sad and in disbelief that after the abuse I went through with him growing up, after the copious amount of lies, the affair, and what he put my mother through (she cried every single day for a year after the divorce and was completely shattered) that he could do this to me. My sister still talks to him via text. This has cause a lot of turmoil for me. My sister and I are EXTREMELY close. We run a business together and are absolutely best friends. But she knows what he has done to me and how much I have been devastated by this. She said that she can't not talk to him because she still wants to have a father. Which I am trying to understand. But how can she want a relationship when she knows how much damage he has done to supposedly the most important person in her life (me, her sister). He also still helps her a bit financially here and there and I know this is partly (perhaps wholly the reason). She has now gotten him a Father's Day present and I don't know how to be ok with this. A lot came out following this. My father had been fired from the hospital, and was taking money out of his and my mother's home in order to pretend to my mother that he was still working at the hospital and getting a paycheck. He is a compulsive liar and has told people things including: he was injured in the war (he has never been to war), he played college football (untrue), he funded several companies (also untrue), he's a millionaire (def not true), he was on a Federal govt board of health (of course again untrue), etc. My parents got divorced because of this affair. It was also not the only affair he had during their marriage, as we would also learn.
My father was very abusive to my mother and myself when I was growing up, particularly in highschool (berating, screaming, vicious verbal abuse, gaslighting, threatening, etc). I begged my mom to leave him but she couldn't. My sister didn't experience as much of this because she was in college. I confronted my father after the divorce was final to tell him how unbelievably hurt I was by all of his actions. He said he would try to earn back my trust and rebuild our relationship. He began texting me semi-regularly with simple nice messages. It took a while, but eventually I began responding and telling him bits about my life and opening that door again. In Sept, I took a 3-month job out of the country (and told him so). I was very busy and didn't respond as frequently, however I did still respond. In December we texted off and on and on Christmas Eve and I sent a particular message wishing him a happy holiday. Fast forward the next day to Christmas Day and my father not only sent my sister a lavish gift, but also messaged her and not me. I asked him why and he did not respond. My sister asked him why and he proceeded to tell her that I had NEVER responded to his texts in the last year and that I had abused HIM by not texting him and for the things I said way back when I originally confronted him. Basically, made himself the victim in every which way. I of course, showed my sister all the texts I had sent to him to show her that he was lying about this.
He continues to only message her and has not texted me since that day (Christmas Eve 2023). I am beyond hurt by this, it feels like I am hurt all over again by everything. It makes me angry and sad and in disbelief that after the abuse I went through with him growing up, after the copious amount of lies, the affair, and what he put my mother through (she cried every single day for a year after the divorce and was completely shattered) that he could do this to me. My sister still talks to him via text. This has cause a lot of turmoil for me. My sister and I are EXTREMELY close. We run a business together and are absolutely best friends. But she knows what he has done to me and how much I have been devastated by this. She said that she can't not talk to him because she still wants to have a father. Which I am trying to understand. But how can she want a relationship when she knows how much damage he has done to supposedly the most important person in her life (me, her sister). He also still helps her a bit financially here and there and I know this is partly (perhaps wholly the reason). She has now gotten him a Father's Day present and I don't know how to be ok with this. I grew up being raised in the catholic church going to service most Sundays and attending Sunday school for the early part of my youth. I went as far as gaining my communion where I would take part of a distorted flesh eating ritual known for eating the body of Christ. When I was a young kid and did something bad (Sin as they say) I did not fear the devil but instead feared punishment from god. Even in my teens I attended the local Young Life christian organization, but honestly I was only truly there to hang out with friends and the people who ran it were genuinely good people but I could truly care less when they spoke about God and Jesus. For the better parts of my life I believed in the Universe itself and always knew there was much more to the big picture of our existence.
Years later when I was 34 I went through a psychosis which also served as my Spiritual Awakening. This led me on to my Soul journey to understand my faith and beliefs on a much deeper level. I became obsessed and passionate with knowing the truth about what had happened to me and the reality of existence itself. It's been nearly 6 years since that day and I have not given up on my eternal soul quest to know the truth and 'god' is not it. I have had several more awakenings and in addition many multidimensional experiences and here is what I have learned along that path.
There exists no 'god' but specifically in this universe there is a being that refers to himself as 'god' the creator of all that exists. In my view I know him as the Demiurge otherwise known as the false creator. He is the head of the Empire of the gods in this universe (and there are many 'gods') that reside in this universe. His ultimate goal is to take control of this universe and create it in his own synthetic love and light. If this 'god' were to look in the mirror the reflection he would see is none other than satan himself, as they are one and the same being. He and his minions of the empire lie and manipulate us into believing he is the one true creator but this is false, he wants to literally feed off of you with your love, adoration, devotion and worhsip. He greedily feeds off all of it much like a interdimensional drug addict and he can not get enough from humanity because of who we are and what we truly represent in this universe. Through your soul journey in this universe you yourself have already been a 'god' or as I commonly refer to them as celestial beings that come from the realms of consciousness.
The truth is that each and everyone of us are Infinite Sovereign Creator beings that exists beyond this universe into the Omniverse and into the Infinite nature of life. You exist beyond spirit, consciousness, soul and yes even 'god' himself. He is not my creator and does not own my soul and never will. This being we call 'god' is jealous of how truly powerful we Humans are in this universe and the extremely difficult journey that we have been on to get here. He and his Empire do everything they can to bind humanity and Mother Earth from remembering who we really are. The 'gods' fear us remembering the most because we become empowered as we begin to liberate ourselves from their control. For those that believe in the bible there is crumbs of truth in there among mostly linguistic programming which warps our minds into believing a false narrative. The story of Jesus is also a bastardisation of the real life Christos (also known as the golden one) the true Universal Prime Creator. This universe was created initially by one being but everything in it is a co-creation between all of the beings that live in this universe. 'god' is not the creator of this universe and does not own anyone's soul. We are truly Supreme beings and co-created this to challenge ourselves and grow but it has been a very long and difficult journey but now more and more of us are Waking Up to what is real. Mother Earth is waking up and she is fucking pissed off at 'god' and his empire for what they've done to us.
Take a moment to yourself go into your heart and into your soul it's there where the truth resides within you and it is time for humanity and Mother Earth to wake up and take back our sovereignty and our liberty. You are all my family and I love you all very dearly but there are some real hard truths that we all have to face and it's now that we all have to question and work on our relationship with the 'gods'. I F23and my F20 friend have been working together for 2 years and friends since high school On December 2022 she was interested in a coworker M20 I know it was wrong of me but I wanted to help her since sheās shy. I told the guy that she was interested in him and he was also interested in her. They went on two dates and he gave her a necklace as a Christmas present; when he asked her for the third date she told him that she was busy with the holidays later on she told me that he was too shy and that she didnāt think itāll would work out, she was complaining that he didnāt started any of the conversation and she felt like she couldnāt deal with it. She started being cold and stopped answering his messages without properly explaining the situation. I felt guilty because I was the one to approach him so I started talking to him more because I felt bad about the whole thing. She moved on and had a relationship a few months after with another guy 24M; but the guy broke up with her. She would often say maybe he was the one but I didnāt see it referring to the coworker 20M but sheāll say she was joking at the end. I got a little bit closer to him and we talk everyday at work and I think Iām falling for him. It feels like I shouldnāt since they have history but did they? Howdy. I am officer M (only M, privacy reasons, could lose my job if I was exposed). Iāve been investigating these three cases for the past few years, and I wanted to see if anyone had any clue how to solve them.
I normally wouldnāt go to places like Reddit for this, but Iām desperate. Everyone else Iāve tried has said that this is some kind of webseries project thing. It isnāt.
Iām gonna show you the transcriptions of three sets of video tapes. The first set is from James Barlowe, the second from Daren Redd, and the third from Nick Robin.
Well, Iād better get on with it.
[- - -]
Thereās only one tape in this section. It begins with a man in a priestās uniform (identified as James Barlowe) in the driverās seat of a car. The person holding the camera is in the passengerās side.
CAMERAMAN (LATER IDENTIFIED AS NICK ROBIN): āSo! Whatāre we doing, James?ā
JAMES: āOh, uhm, weāre going to a haunted house to perform an exorcism.ā
NICK: āHell yeah we are!ā
Nick turns the camera towards his face.
NICK: āSomeone tipped us off on a haunted house recently, so weāre gonna go check it out. And James is gonna use his cool priest powers or whatever to get rid of the ghosts! Right James?ā
The camera pans to James.
JAMES: āAh- Yeah.ā
The camera turns back to Nick.
NICK: āNow, Iām not gonna be in this one too much, since James is gonna be doing his stuff on his own.ā
JAMES: āWait what?ā
The tape cuts off here, and picks back up with James holding the camera. Heās in front of a run-down, abandoned house. He seems nervous, fidgeting with the stole around his neck.
JAMES: āOkay, so, uhm. I am Father Barlowe, and, uhm..I kind of thought Nick was gonna be here. He- He told me he was gonna be here. I dunno. Uhm. Today Iām going to exorcise this ghost. I, uh, donāt know if Iām allowed to do that anymore. But I know how.ā
James turns the camera around, and starts to walk into the house. The front door opens into a hallway, which leads to a living room. The camera shakes as James fumbles with his pockets, then brings out a cross. He holds it out in front of him.
JAMES: āUhm, if there are any ghosts here, show yourself.ā
Nothing happens. James mutters something about editing. He waves the cross around dramatically.
JAMES: āGhost, or demon, or whatever you are, please come and-ā
A loud bang comes from somewhere within the house. James seems to flinch. He can be heard heavily breathing as he turns the camera towards the sound.
JAMES: āUhm..Okay. Thatās okay. Iāve got a cross. Iām okay.ā
James begins to walk down the hall, where the sound was heard. The camera is shaking, and James is holding out his cross.
JAMES: āOkay, uhm- I think..I think the ghost is in there.ā
James points to the doorway at the end of the corridor, then advances towards it. He walks through, and into what appears to be a study. There is a desk and chair in the corner. The chair has a pitch-black figure in it.
JAMES: āOh god, okay, uhm- Okay. Okay. Uhm. Uh- Demon!ā
The figure turns to face James. He holds out his cross with a trembling hand.
JAMES: āFoul creature, begone from this home-ā
The figure stands up and begins to walk towards James. The camera is dropped.
JAMES: āOh God, oh God!ā
James can be heard running away.

This first tape is very intriguing to me. The figure has not been identified. At least, not as anyone in the town.
I interviewed both Nick Robin and James Barlowe (they had not gone missing after this video. quite the contrary, in fact. James Barlowe is the one that brought the video to police), and they revealed that most of the content in their videos was fake.
They said that the events of the video were not planned.

The camera appears to be moved around a bit, before setting up to show a man in a red hoodie (identified as Daren Redd) sitting in an office chair. It can be assumed that heās at his desk. He smiles at the camera.
DAREN: āUh- Hi. This feels weird, haha. I donāt think I should introduce myself? I donāt know. No one but meās gonna see this anyways. Unless I make, like, a giant scientific discovery. Or break a world record.ā
Daren fidgets with the strings of his hoodie, twirling one between his fingers.
DAREN: āSo. My sleep schedule sucks. Iāve been trying to fix it for weeks now, it isnāt working. Iāve decided, fuck it, Iām just gonna roll with it. So! Iām gonna try and stay up for 12 days straight.ā
Daren grabs the camera, and shows a calendar up on the wall. The month and year are cut off. Two days are circled (Tuesday, then the next Saturday).
DAREN: āIāve got a calendar here so that I can figure out how long Iāve been up. If I do more physical stuff, maybe Iāll stay up longer! Haha.ā
The camera pans back to Daren.
DAREN: āIāve got my room-mate watching over me. Heās actually in here right now- Say hi, Nick!ā
(PRESUMABLY) NICK, IN THE BACKGROUND: āHey.ā
DAREN: āI rested up real good to prepare for this, so Iām hoping that my plan works. So, uh..Yeah. D-Man out.ā
The next tape starts out with Daren holding the camera up to Nick Robin.
DAREN: āNiiiiiiiick.ā
NICK: āWhy are you recording me?ā
DAREN: āNick how long have I been awake?ā
NICK: āSince yesterday, I think.ā
Daren flips the camera around to face him. He has a large grin on his face.
DAREN: āThatās right, baby! D-Man has been awake for one whole day! Well- Two? One? Since Tuesday. Itās, uh, Wednesday.ā
Daren shows the calendar to the camera. Tuesday is crossed off.

The third tape starts with Nick and James going into one of the abandoned houses. Nick seems much more enthusiastic than James.
JAMES: āWeāre gonna put a voice-over on this, right?ā
NICK: āYea, yea. Something something, abandoned house, something something.ā
JAMES: āGood, good, uhm..Nick, man, you know I like doing this and all..But I donāt think I like this episode. Itās like- It feels wrong, yāknow?ā

Iāve been thinking about these cases since I found them. The actual police department doesnāt know about them- And I havenāt told my superior about them. These tapes just kind of appeared at my doorstep one day, along with a camera.
I looked at the cameraās film, and found three images.
The first one is a picture from the first set of tapes. It seems edited, though. James has a halo.
The second one is from the second set. It shows an image of Daren, with some kind of pitch-black figure behind him.
The third one is, supposedly, from the third set. Though nothing like it is seen anywhere in the tapes. Itās an image taken from the driverās seat of Nickās car, showing the camera from the video on the dashboard. On the screen of the camera is Nick. The image is edited to show a car tire over Nickās face.

I normally wouldnāt go to places like Reddit for this, but Iām desperate. Everyone else Iāve tried has said that this is some kind of webseries project thing. It isnāt.
Iām gonna show you the transcriptions of three sets of video tapes. The first set is from James Barlowe, the second from Daren Redd, and the third from Nick Robin.
Well, Iād better get on with it.

Thereās only one tape in this section. It begins with a man in a priestās uniform (identified as James Barlowe) in the driverās seat of a car. The person holding the camera is in the passengerās side.
CAMERAMAN (LATER IDENTIFIED AS NICK ROBIN): āSo! Whatāre we doing, James?ā
JAMES: āOh, uhm, weāre going to a haunted house to perform an exorcism.ā
NICK: āHell yeah we are!ā
Nick turns the camera towards his face.
NICK: āSomeone tipped us off on a haunted house recently, so weāre gonna go check it out. And James is gonna use his cool priest powers or whatever to get rid of the ghosts! Right James?ā

JAMES: āAh- Yeah.ā
The camera turns back to Nick.
NICK: āNow, Iām not gonna be in this one too much, since James is gonna be doing his stuff on his own.ā

The tape cuts off here, and picks back up with James holding the camera. Heās in front of a run-down, abandoned house. He seems nervous, fidgeting with the stole around his neck.
JAMES: āOkay, so, uhm. I am Father Barlowe, and, uhm..I kind of thought Nick was gonna be here. He- He told me he was gonna be here. I dunno. Uhm. Today Iām going to exorcise this ghost. I, uh, donāt know if Iām allowed to do that anymore. But I know how.ā
James turns the camera around, and starts to walk into the house. The front door opens into a hallway, which leads to a living room. The camera shakes as James fumbles with his pockets, then brings out a cross. He holds it out in front of him.
JAMES: āUhm, if there are any ghosts here, show yourself.ā
Nothing happens. James mutters something about editing. He waves the cross around dramatically.
JAMES: āGhost, or demon, or whatever you are, please come and-ā
A loud bang comes from somewhere within the house. James seems to flinch. He can be heard heavily breathing as he turns the camera towards the sound.
JAMES: āUhm..Okay. Thatās okay. Iāve got a cross. Iām okay.ā
James begins to walk down the hall, where the sound was heard. The camera is shaking, and James is holding out his cross.
JAMES: āOkay, uhm- I think..I think the ghost is in there.ā
James points to the doorway at the end of the corridor, then advances towards it. He walks through, and into what appears to be a study. There is a desk and chair in the corner. The chair has a pitch-black figure in it.
JAMES: āOh god, okay, uhm- Okay. Okay. Uhm. Uh- Demon!ā
The figure turns to face James. He holds out his cross with a trembling hand.
JAMES: āFoul creature, begone from this home-ā
The figure stands up and begins to walk towards James. The camera is dropped.
JAMES: āOh God, oh God!ā
James can be heard running away.

This first tape is very intriguing to me. The figure has not been identified. At least, not as anyone in the town.
I interviewed both Nick Robin and James Barlowe (they had not gone missing after this video. quite the contrary, in fact. James Barlowe is the one that brought the video to police), and they revealed that most of the content in their videos was fake.
They said that the events of the video were not planned.

The camera appears to be moved around a bit, before setting up to show a man in a red hoodie (identified as Daren Redd) sitting in an office chair. It can be assumed that heās at his desk. He smiles at the camera.

2024.05.22 00:25 KhaoticKooper AITAH for being in my feelings because my BF is catering to others and cutting our time together short because of it.
My BF and I are in a LDR, and yes I'm on my throwaway. When we are able to see each other it is only for a few days. I have 3 elementary school aged kids and he has 1 toddler, we both share 50/50 with our ex's, and have our kids opposite weekends, so that is how we work it. I also have pets and a small business so driving to him is sometimes much harder. He usually comes here. We live 8 hours apart from each other. Anyway, this weekend is our anniversary weekend. He was suppose to be here from Thurs-Mon morning because he has to get his son from the babysitter at 4pm on Monday. He tells me today that the babysitter has asked for Monday off. Whenever the babysitter is sick, needs a day off, or something happens - like car troubles, it's always left up to him to pick up his son and figure the day out, his schedule is more flexible, but sometimes he feels like he is being taken advantage of because he always picks up the extra slack without any concern for his time or schedule - which is true. Anyway, that is beside the point. So, babysitter says she wants Monday off, and of course it is up to him to figure something out for that day. He says fine. He tells me he'll have to leave Sunday now instead of Monday morning. This hurts and upsets me because 1 - we don't have much time together as it is, 3 days every 2-3 months. This is my first LDR and lately I've been struggling a bit with how lonesome it can sometimes get. Anway, I personally think he should tell the babysitter who is suppose to watch the child M-F 7-4pm and is paid for those days....sorry, I can't, I have plans, you'll need to watch him as scheduled. But he tries "to keep the peace" with his BM and to do this he just says yes to whatever is needed of him. I tell him that I'm hurt by this because I feel as if though our time is being put off because he is making sure everyone else is not inconvenienced in any way and the babysitter gets this day off that she now wants. But what about our time? I just feel like my feelings are not taken into consideration at all when stuff like this happens because he is too busy "keeping the peace" and catering to others so that others do not get upset with him (his BM and family). He tells me I'm just focusing on the negative, I'm not even taking into consideration that he is driving 8 hours here so we can spend time together and since I am just focusing on the negative that makes him feel defeated and hurt. I tell him I'm not trying to focus on the negative, but this kind of stuff hurts. It feels as if though he always tip toes around others feelings and forgetting about mine while doing that. It's like a few months ago when I told him it's kind of hurtful that we are not connected on social media at all - and for the record we were "friends" on FB for a short period but I deleted him because I didn't want to feel like I couldn't post anything or had to be careful with anything I did on social media in order not to hurt anyones feelings. He says he doesn't want to shove our relationship in anyone's face and once again - trying to keep the peace with his BM. But here my feelings are once again just kind of left out there hanging. So, AITAH here??? Am I being too damn sensitive about him having to now leave early so babysitter can have day off and it is left up to him to figure that whole thing out? Like I get the whole working with the other parent and kids...but I would 100% in this case tell my babysitter that they cannot have the day off, and I would also make sure if things were happening like this, that my BD was also making sacrafices in his schedule and life, and it wasn't just me all of the time. But who knows maybe I'm just an AH.

2024.05.22 00:17 Skibidi_Bibidi Confirmed Diagnosis
Went to a new ent today after almost 5 months of suffering. I absolutely loved him but I hate that I discovered him through these unfortunate circumstances. Side note, turns out we both went to the same grade school and high school.
Point being, he performed the cotton test and sent me a prescription for estrogen nasal spray. I couldnāt even feel it when he did insert the cotton, and nerve damage is the suspected culprit based off of the fact that I can no longer feel my nose hairs tingle or sense incoming air. Itās merely a dull sensation, dry, or menthol like.
Aside from the estrogen to help bulk my tissue, he said that it would be criminal to recommend PRP as results are marginal and obviously itās expensive. He also stated that Dr. Houser evidently doesnāt do PRP anymore. He said there is another doctor that does them but people have had issues with the injections. āI said Das?ā He said āyes, but I will keep the commentary to myself.ā Not sure what that meant, but I assume it was just him reiterating the fact that PRP is a gamble and to take it lightly as to not gain false hope.
With that being said, he recommended some supplements to maybe help my sense of smell, sent in the prescription for estrogen spray, amd told me that I have about 2 years post op to see if the nerve function improves, and if I get desperate, PRP is an option. If Iām being honest, I donāt have much to lose anymore so Iām going to give PRP a shot if the estrogen doesnāt help alleviate some of the symptoms. Obviously that wonāt fix sensation issues.
My procedure done by another doctor included submucosal resection, out fracture, and partial turbinectomy. Talk about overkill! I quite literally thought I had rf reduction done. The only reason I know what was done was because I started having dyspnea issues mid January 2023 so I requested my surgery notes. I was shocked when I read that document.
Iāll be 24 on Sunday. I have had to give up my passion of rock climbing that helped me to get sober 2.5 years ago, and now I lay depressed next to a humidifier with a bottle of lexapro just wondering when this nightmare will end. I will update on PRP once I do some more research.
For now, any advice on supplements that may help sensory nerve function? I know the bās can be beneficial, but in case I am missing something, let me know. Thanks

For context before I get on w what happened, a girl in my school drowned on Sunday, she was extremely kind, and was always helping someone, I did not know her personally but we have had small conversations every once and a while. She was always super sweet to me.
3 people who well call D, T, and J today in my class were mocking her death, quote D: "What a dumbass bitch how do you even drown" T&J: cackling and agreeing. J: She probably drowned cause shes black (dont know if this does anything but D is mexican, J is black, and T is mixed mexican and black) Me and my friends tell them to stop because it's extremely disrespectful J then goes into a screaming match about how we're childish and bitchy for getting upset about it. In response we obviously yell back, calling them assholes and they need to find some dignity and self respect. The teacher all this time is doing absolutely nothing. One of my class mates has already run out crying. I am still extremely upset right now so I'm sorry if this is like rushed or not enough details I'll try editing it later fixing anything that may need to be fixed or adjusted.
