I heared that the arduino langugae is really c++ with some libraries.
Does anyone know a good free c++ course so in the future I can make more complex things that with the arduino libraries is not possible like a FEMDAM calculator

I have been reading a lot about leveraged ETFs in the last few months. However it is a complex topic and I wanted to see what thoughts were about it on this sub.
LETFs use various financial instruments to magnify changes in the underlying ETF. They have significant disadvantages including volatility decay, higher fees and overall much greater volatility and with the potential for some eye watering drawdowns. However, they also have the potential to greatly increase your returns. If this is the first time you have come across them then this post is probably not for you. There is a lot of analysis online that discusses the optimum amount of leverage for a portfolio. You can use this calculator for example which currently suggests a leverage of about 1.5. I have checked on some of the ISA platforms and you can indeed purchase LETFs on them.
Let's say somebody has the following investment goals:
1) A >10 year investment horizon
2) A high risk tolerance
3) The ability to invest more than the ISA limit a year
My proposed investment strategy would be:
1) Invest 20% of your ISA into SPXL or similar (SPXL is SPY with 3x leverage)
2) De-risk yourself by investing in bonds in your general investment account (eg VGLS60A)
3) Aim for leverage of around 1.3 (more conservative than the "optimal" amount of leverage
This would have the advantage of focusing most of your gains into the tax free account and limiting your tax bill in the general investment account which seems like a big benefit to this strategy in the UK. The expected return would theoretically be more than 30% higher than an a leverage of 1.0 although I don't quite have the maths to figure this out.
In addition to the usual risks of investing in say the FTSE global all cap there are some additional risks with this strategy:
1) Increasing interest rates and borrowing costs although hopefully these are coming down in the short term
2) LETFs being banned from ISAs in the future
3) Being invested in a less diversified fund. As far as I know there is no FTSE global all cap LETF. To get more diversified one could hold LETFs for multiple different ETFs (eg SPXL, TQQQ, 3UKL, FNGU). However this would require periodic re-balancing.
4) Being able to stay committed to your investing strategy despite massive drawdowns (eg an 80% decrease in the LETF).
5) The higher fees (~1%)
6) Most of these LETFs are held in the US and I am unclear if there are any currency issues with this strategy
I am very cautious about this given to an extent it seems "too good to be true". I thought I would post this so that somebody more knowledgeable than me can point out what I have missed.

Just came across this, so I though I would add some helpful one's I use and maybe not known to everyone:

• UseFathom.com - run all my analytics with them, they are paid, but very affordable and I like that I don't have to add any cookie banners for any products.
• Helpscout.com - run support through them, have a chat widget, knowledge base and AI answering built-in. Still in the affordable category.
• clarity.microsoft.com - yeah it's a Microsoft product, but you can it's free and you use it regardless of technology and super useful early on to see heatmaps and session recordings of what you're users are doing (still privacy aware though!)
• F5bot.com - free keyword monitoring for reddit, helpful for marketing, monitor reddit for mentions of your customer group and then response with helpful messages

I recently got my bloodwork done and I need help interpreting it. Three things were outside reference range for the clinic.
Total Testosterone: 2.034 ng/ml
Estradiol: 48 pg/ml
Mean Corpuscular Volume: 79 fl
Other notable measurements:
FSH: 2.41 mIU/ml
LH: 3.07 mIU/ml
Free testosterone: 34.95 pg/ml (Calculated was 42.8ng/ml)
SHBG: 24.3 nmol/L
Prolactin: 6.26 ng/ml
According to my research, this is textbook secondary hypogonadism. Am I correct in my assessment? I was also wondering why my e2 was so high and while my SHBG and free test is in the reference range for the clinic, it's below the range for a lot of reports I've seen online. Everything else is perfectly except Vitamin d, which is on the lower end of the reference range. While my libido is fine, I do feel like I have trouble focusing and I don't feel like I have a lot of energy. I am considering sourcing some enclomiphene, dosing 6.25mg/day for a month and see if that changes things.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Italy, fallen at the hands of the Alfr and the Eastern Union did nothing. The countless provocations of the Aesir and never an adequate response, a Japanese Empire chipping away at the very bones of Eastern Union hegemony and in the end, it was only the intervention of INC diplomacy (theorized) that prevented the consumption of anything more than Manchuria. Even as the very Russian nation-state collapsed inward, not even the Bandung Pact could do more than give a shake of their heads while scalping away much of the Russian technological base in a way not dissimilar to the early East African efforts to save the Israeli industry. And as the once Karakum Union once again declared nominal independence from the broader Russian entity, the beginning of the end for Eastern Europe was once again nigh.
Therefore, it was no surprise when the Garden of Eden spread its roots through the former Polish hyper-state, the tendrils of Iohannis grasping at every fallen fruit, each an offering to the Earth Mother (so it's called in Eastern Europe). It was a surprise when those same messages soon led to declaration of a new "Atlantic Russian Republic", when those radio waves turned into surviving Russian fleets massing in the last quietly surviving Russian territory that all but Russia had forgotten of. At one of the many mouths of the Amazon jungle, stood the Atlantic Russian Republic and the last bastion of Free Europe in the West. The fleets of the Polish-Russian hyperstate had under Bandung support, skulked quietly into the Atlantic Ocean under new flags, until eventually landing in French Guiana. Much like the French Remnant State which survived as the last offshoot until it was eventually subsumed by the Russian government, the Atlantic Russian Republic now stands as a mini Fortress-state, housing the vast Russian Navy and all its kinetic and rocketry might. Just as the French Free Navy slowly starved to death, so too, now does the Russian Navy in its hole across the Ocean. And with a resource crisis still ongoing even if neutered now by the rampant space mining operations of the hyper-powers, the Russian Navy in exile's position remains ever volatile.

The wind and snow was heavy even for November, that was the thought going through the old dog's head as he watched his ward, the Princess Estelle addressing the rows of former Russian soldiers. And as she finished, the guns ringing out signaling the formalization of the groundwork laid so many years ago it was not hard for the General to maintain his stoic nature as the procession of soldiers filed out of the great hall that had been constructed in Tallinn. Like so many others, they had become nationless men, effectively dead and yet still very much alive and willing to fight.
"So this is what your deal bought you." the ex-Prime Minister, ex-President, Katz finally broke his silence as Princess Estelle made her way back under the cover of the gallery. "My Baltics, turned into the Fens."
There was a sadness to the eyes of the fair-haired Princess, one letting on only a fraction of the pain she had experienced over the past year. "My cousin...he told me this would be an early birthday present." She lowered her head out of respect to the Russian ex-minister. "Had I known...what all that would have entailed, I would have certainly declined."
Timo Kivinen, the General of so many things by now, knew there was bountiful more that the Princess would have wanted to share in that very moment. He had heard it, when they had first been informed of the operation. He had seen Estelle's outrage, as the good Prince George did his best to calm his dear wife. But now, in the aftermath of the Russian Collapse, Estelle had put on her brave face and in true STOICs fashion - mustered a smile and a bout of levity.
"I once asked my cousin to remember us as his family, I hadn't expected this is the path to be walked by our kin." Estelle cracked a wry smile, as she started walking towards the exit. "But there is more to come, isn't that right, General?"
"Yes." Timo nodded, as his thoughts turned to the fleets amassing in the Atlantic.
"What now?" Katz questioned, not expecting much of an answer.
"Promises to keep, we have promises to keep." Estelle's gaze turned towards the Sun and the thought of warm waters.

Things to Consider
The Atlantic Russian Republic (ARR) or better, the Russian Fleet in Exile is intended on being a claim that requires heavy amounts of player initiative through the early period of the season to survive. However, can blossom into a rewarding claim if played well.
This is a difficult claim in general, and you can expect to be under fire from many enemies as the Alfr remnant states (North America in particular) and the Bandung Pact both look to subsume or sink your fleets.

The Garden of Eden

This is a fairly niche claim, having to wrestle with both the Alfr, INC, and Japan in the immediate vicinity - while attempting to repair (or destroy) relations with other surrounding neighbors as you look more inward.

The Second Roman Republic

  • Additionally - the Legions have an expressed goal = reclaiming Rome (Italy). If this is not met by the 2/3rd mark of the Campaign, there will be IG repercussions of significant magnitude.
  • Begins the Campaign with positive diplomatic relations with ALL NPCs including Japan, non-playable Bandung Pact members, and non-claimable Alfr remnants. The only exception is TURKEY.
  • Has access to the entire Russian tech book (so to speak).

Things to Consider
The Second Roman Republic is a particularly interesting claim, due to its immediate diplomatic "neutrality through positive relations" and the fact that they have a legitimate claim to Italy if not Rome at large. However, they are also surrounded by power-hungry hyper-states that have increasingly small amounts of room to expand.

Consumer demand for the latest AI technology is heating up. The launch of OpenAI’s latest flagship model, GPT-4o, has now driven the company’s biggest-ever spike in revenue on mobile, despite the model being freely available on the web. GPT-4o, which launched May 13, can handle text, speech and video, and delivers real-time responsiveness and a range of emotive voice options, making it a far more powerful model than what was offered before. This technical innovation is also pushing more users to upgrade to OpenAI’s paid subscription, according to new data from app intelligence firm Appfigures.
Though OpenAI said GPT-4o would be offered to users on its free tier, that promise didn’t stretch to include users of its ChatGPT app on mobile. Instead, mobile users are being pushed to upgrade to its $19.99 monthly subscription, ChatGPT Plus, if they want to experiment with OpenAI’s most recent launch.
That strategic decision is generating increased demand for subscriptions among mobile users and has now led to the biggest-ever revenue spike OpenAI has yet seen on mobile devices.
The ChatGPT mobile app’s net revenue first jumped 22% on the day of the GPT-4o launch and continued to grow in the following days, according to Appfigures. On Tuesday, net revenue was up to $900,000, nearly twice that of the app’s daily average of $491,000. (The net revenue figure is calculated after Apple and Google take their commission.)

Hi ESP folks , I used the pcnt module to calculate the pulses on every falling edge to get the frequency. I am using a single pcnt_unit_handle in a sole pcnt_channel_handle. But the problem is, even when I send the pulses at same frequency, The pulse counter value is fluctuating between -2 to +2 pulses. I am calculating the number of pulses received per 500ms, using freeRTOS task which I configured to run the task for 500ms,but here also I am getting the problem, this task sometimes runs for 550ms.providing the glitch of about -5ms to +50ms. Can you tell me an alternate way for acquiring pulses to get the frequency from it using freeRTOS task.At the end what I want is to calculate the frequency from the pulses and acquire the RPM from it in every 500ms or even less time.

I've had a few people reach out to me for my opinion on Vivid Seats (SEAT). Software and information technology is my number one niche - and this company doesn't look that great to me despite some strong hype and recommendations from "experts." Let me break down what I see to this bigger group so it might answer some other questions out there.
If you're a value investor, you might be liking the P/S ration under 2 and 38% ROIC in the interactive media area of the market. But, this is really not my preferred value measure, and I don't recommend using it here (I'll explain why):
1 - I use EV/EBITDA and Free Cash Flow Yield in this area of the market. Ideally, we want to find P/S around 1, but this company has some problems that aren't addressed by that. EV/EBITDA shows the company is quite expensive right now at 17x. I really focus on the 3-8x range with a reasonable P/E and P/S vs direct peers noted in the most recent 10K.
2 - They have more goodwill/intangible assets than they do market cap. This inflates the asset base and makes many of our favorite quantitative measures useless unless you back all but about 10% of that out of the calculation. It becomes obvious when you have more long term intangible assets than EV, you are massively overpaying to acquire competitors or businesses in adjacent streams. This alone is reason enough for me to strike them from a watchlist (or never add them more likely).
3 - ROE looks amazing, but they just transitioned from this terrible capital structure where they had negative shareholder equity to a positive shareholder equity in the last year. Based on that, throw out the ROE calculation. I could give you a "good answer" with how to calculate ROE without a reasonable beginning of period starting point, but there's no use. It will be a very bad number and not worth your time.
4 - Revenue recognition. This is really getting into ultra-specific aspects of the software and interactive media niches. I have a strong suspicion that the way that SEAT chooses to recognize their revenue is causing problems downstream in the valuation metrics and elsewhere. Companies get some latitude on how they want to do this - but they reported 8% EBITDA on over 700mm in revenue with only 700 employees. They do have 34mm in deferred revenue. But I suspect they are "writing off" revenue they should be collecting (not the same as a discount) and there isn't great transparency into what they are really collecting vs what the maximum dollar amount is they could be collecting.
At the end of the day, they are trying to facilitate this arbitrage of ticket sellers and ticket buyers. I think this should be a high profit business in a vacuum, absent poor management and reporting issues and whatever else might be in the way here. But at $5 a share, I think this looks very speculative and I wouldn't personally touch it until I can see the capital structure stand still for a few FY and wrap my head around why we're not printing money with 700 employees vs 774mm in sales.
