This is a truth that some of the people here fa‎il to rea‎lise. hi I'm a grad student working in a lab with undergrads. One of them has been having trouble trying to do dilutions for qPCR. I gave her instructions on how to do the dilutions in water before plating DNA to the plate which it seems not to stick in the way that I'm explaining it how would you guys explain that from a 100 ng/µL sample you need to load 10 ng to the PCR plate. how would you explain the dilution in the most simple way? We usually do our dilutions so that we only have to load 2 µL to the plate with an 8 µL reaction. Thanks for the suggestions!
