I have to force shutdown every time when HSR froze because I can’t force quit the game via Task Manager. I’ve been playing the game for 4 months now and it only happens when the current character’s banner came. At first, I thought it’s Wuthering Waves that’s causing the problem because the freeze only happens after I downloaded the game but other games are running fine (genshin, val, cs). Anyone else experiencing this?

I was only there for four days and this review can be very subjective. But I am writing because someone might see this helpful.
Please dont be upset even if you feel my reviews and impressions are totally wrong or different from yours.
I dont usually spend lots of time for every pieces but just scan all of them quickly and pick what Im interested in the most and spend good chunk of time there.
I might have skipped good stuff because of that but I was there only for short amount of time and it worked the best for me this time.
What I learned
Public transportation
Metro - Metro is great and straightforward. Once you get a smartgrip card at a metro station you are good to go. It was $2.00 each trip (for metro and bus).

• I charged $20.00 and it was just right amount for my trip.
  
• Some metro stations have two different metro systems(?) such as first one was only for RTD line and downstairs was for SilveOrange/Blue lines that you are looking for.
  
• Dont panic if you only see RTD line and there is nobody to ask when you are there. You can just enter there and you will find stairs/escalator to go downstairs.
  

Bus - Bus is good but schedule can be tricky and not always accurate as App or google says.
But I used 'Citymapper' app, WMATA website, and Google map for direction. And check out bus stop# (e.g 1001314) and look it up on the app or website. Those helped me figure things out a lot.
Scooter - If you stay at the mall a lot, I would recommend to use scooter from time to time.

• I didnt know how to ride a scooter at all,
• but if I remember correctly left handle was front wheel brake
• right side handle was rear wheel brake
• there is a push button for an accelerator in the middle.
• I always make sure which one was rear wheel brake because i think its safer to use it first.
• or check out Youtube

You dont need to go fast. Slow down and you will still be much faster than just walking.
*Museums

• I would recommend one or two museums a day maximum if you are actually there to learn the history and read what those are about.
  
• Smithsonian museums are massive especially famous ones.
  
• Be prepared that there will be lots of people. And you might need to wait to see next one because people are still there.
  
• I would recommend to go to the main ones that you think the most important for opening time.
  

There will be still people in the line if they are famous and popular but much less and you wont feel hurry to move on to next one.
*Art galleries/museums

• Definitely check out what they are on currently before you go there.
  
• I realized that I am not really into portraits.
  
• If you are like me, I would recommend American Art museum(in the same building with National portrait museum, The Phillips collection, and Hirshhorn.
  
• American art/National portrait museum its massive. I wish I had at least 3-4 hours.

• you gotta buy a ticket. Totally worth it.
  
• They have lots of cool stuff.
  
• I could easily enjoy there for 3 hours.
  
• Hirshhorn Small museum but they have pretty unique and cool stuff - I could spend 2-3 hours.
  
• National gallery of art museum There were tons of portraits. Its massive but I spent no longer than three hours. But its still definitely worth to go.
  

*Other attractions
The library of congress - Make sure you have a ticket - I was there for opening time. - There was a super long line even though I was there before opening time but it went quickly once they opened. - Honestly I spent about less than an hour. Beautiful inside but that was enough time for me as a person who had lots of plans.
United States Capitol - If you are going back to the mall from the library of congress, you can easily walk there. - Cool to take photos
Washington Monument - I didnt go inside but definitely worth to be there and look
Lincoln memorial - I didnt go and look there closely. it looks like somewhat under construction around there.
Korean War memorial - I wouldnt miss it if you are already around there.
Bond in motion at International spy museum - You gotta buy a ticket. - if you are a big fan of James bond then maybe. - I was just there for cars and photos but I guess I was expecting a bit more. - It took 20 mins.
International Spy museum - I wanted to go there but I couldnt because I messed up with my schedule and couldnt get the ticket. - It looked interesting, but I would go there opening time if you plan for it. There were many kids. I might be wrong but I think they enjoyed a lot from what I heard from them.
Udvar Hazy at Dulles - Massive and lots of cool stuff - Recommend to get a ticket for IMAX movie as well and I saw 'Deep sky' which was 40 mins movie and great. (the theater is inside of the same building, takes 30 seconds to find it. You will see it on your right as soon as you enter the Udvar Hazy building. - Three hours were enough for me including the movie.

• I planned to get there before opening time.
• So I took a silver line metro and got off at Innovation center station to take a 983 bus. The bus schedule said I would get a bus there at 9:30 am but the schedule changed to 10:30 am all the sudden, so I ended up getting an Uber.

So be prepared to get an Uber just in case. It costs about $10.00.

• And I got the Uber again to go to the IAD airport. Uber will come pick you up in front of the Udvar Hazy building. It costs about $25.00.

George town/Waterfront park - Lots of restaurants and bars - Great atmosphere and chance to feel the local vibe - Definitely worth to check out

I’ve been with my girlfriend for around 2 years now, she’s an incredible person and I’ve always seen a future with her. Around a year into our relationship she went to a festival with people from her work. There’s was lots of drinking and drugs at the event and during the day there she kissed someone she works with.
She came back and acted like nothing was wrong and she even said I was “acting weird”, I had a gut feeling that something had happened, that being confirmed 2 weeks later when I received a message explaining that the guy admitted to his fiancé that he kissed my girlfriend and also another girl.
Those two weeks before I found out she was going drinking in our town with this guy and the same workmates, not sure what happened during this time because she went to work early and then straight to the bar afterwards and came back at 2am every night.
I ended the relationship and moved all my stuff out and tried to heal but I didn’t know how as it was my first relationship. The guy ended his relationship with his fiancé and started a relationship with my girlfriend, posting themselves everywhere.
I’d started taking anti depressants during this time and was made homeless, sleeping on my brothers floor for a good few months. I was still seeing her and sleeping with her because I was still in love and it was hard to know what to do.
Fast forward a few months and we start talking properly and we agree to start fresh again and I knew it would be hard but i was more than willing to put in the effort, fast forward a year later and we are still together and we are expecting a baby very soon.

Hi, as the post says, I want to finally ipgrade my tires on my Merida scultura com904. I was thinking of joing the hype of wider tyres, so I thought maybe just bump up to 32mm. Me wheels supports this, I have Mavic Aksium race on my bike (which it says up to 32mm on the internet). My questions is, how do i know if this will fit at all? I have tried to look at the internet for how wide my tires can be on the merida, but it only says the stock tire width of 23mm.
btw: As i wrote this post i realized that I've owned this bike for nearly 10 years. It has been great and I bought it used (in 2014 I think) for 700$. I haven't done any maintenance on this bike other than washing it and changing inner tubes (1 or 2 times).

The members that can't dance/sing are more popular that the ones that are good at it. From a company's position, the trainee system is an investment that involves lots of risks and uncertainty.
But Hybe now has all the knowledge and information that made BTS the world's best idol group. So they have probably analyzed and recalculated all formulas over and over. So using all that knowledge that has already worked in the past, the have probably built a business model that brings the best results while minimizing the investment costs of the idol training system. And that's the very reason why these days Hybe is able to debut one or two new groups every year.
Look at SM and YG's idols: From Red Velvet's debut to Aespa's debut: 6 years. From BLACKPINK's debut to BABYMONSTER's debut: 8 year.
For major agencies that care about skills, It takes about 5 years to carefully create a new group. And that's only natural. It is not only the production of a song, concept, and varied content; in order to make a high quality group, each member needs to be competent/skilled enough on their own. Hundreds of people from all over the world become trainees, and after selecting and eliminating, the final picks are about 4-7 people. The main focus is in investing in the trainees.
But Hybe seems to have stopped using this method that has been around for all of 2nd and 3rd gen. In other words, they are not focusing on training idols/trainees to have the necessary artistic skills Instead, they make a new group based on a preplanned concept and song, and train them until they are decent enough ( "digestible"), then they immediately debut.
Even from my pov, all Lesserafim members (except sakura) could get wayyy better if only they trained live singing while dancing for 2~3 years. Just go watch Lesserafim at the 2022 MMA awards, they are being praised for tearing up the stage. But it is all just AR and lip sync. Yet in the comments people are saying that it was an impressive performance and that they are the next BTS. If the members can't sing you can just hide it with AR, but even those who know nothing about dance can notice when someone can't dance and is moving awkwardly. So for this kind of kpop environment/ecosystem, it is more beneficial to invest on dancing that vocals.
Even after a long time of being an active artist/group they might still be criticized by the general public for being awful singers, but the general public won't be important if they have a propeconsistent fandom. Because then they can just tour overseas and gain enough money to sustain themselves for another 3 years ( not 100% sure this is the right meaning) And even if the demand dies, the company can just disband them and bring in new young kids that they can add to a new group, as if it was an idol mass production factory.
Hybe, who has reached the peak of the Kpop industry, already has the knowledge/data of what image and producing is necessary to make a group successful.
In simple terms, they can just bring in a pretty female highschool student that likes hanging out at karaoke rooms, make her fix her body and face + make her only dance to death. Then whatever cool group concept the agency workers can come up with, high quality debut song and expensive MV, good hair style and makeup, huge investment in promotions, viral tiktoks, etc. It is very quick and easy to make a new group that follow today's trends, by just following the system of what currently works. After all, idols are just a temporal business. And even if one or two members get biggepopular with their solos, by then the agency profits will be way less. So there is no need to invest in any individual member's artistic skills.
But doesnt this sound like something that has been seen many times before. It is very similar to Japan's idol system.
After bringing in some cute looking kids, they dont train them and just make them debut while in elemntary/middle school. So that they can dress them like prince/princess and have them sing songs for little children. No one really expects/wants them to be Mariah Carey, so they are good as long as they can sing decently and behave cutely to fans (good fanservice).
Then they can sell until their middle 20s. Because they are young and pretty. But the fans dont consume that idol's content because they are artistically talented,. It is kind of the same thing as when liking a youtuber because they are funny and you are loyal/used to them.
What is interesting too: In the year 2000, BoA was the first idol born from the trainee system newly introduced by SM. And other groups that followed that system, TVQX, BIGBANG, SUPER JUNIOR, SHINee, SNSD, KARA, 2NE1 (etc) were able to break into the Japanese/Chinese market. And then, BTS, BLACKPINK, SEVENTEEN, TWICE etc in the 3rd gen were able to globalize Kpop by entering into the US market.
The success in Japan, which is number 2 in the global music market, was a huge help in expanding into the US. But what Japanese Kpop fans are currently saying is: "Idols that cant sing live can exist, we dont really expect big live singing abilities" "But..." "The main reason why we/I started liking Kpop was because of the skills" "I think the strongest point of Kpop are the skills and the quality"
In summary, Japan was the one that made the Kpop boom truly expand in countries with a bigger music/economic market. And even now they are the biggest consumer of Kpop (1st japan, 2nd the US). And the reason why they accepted the Kpop when they used to just ignore Korea before, is simply because of the overpowered skills/talent that is incomparable to their domestic idols.
Looks are subjective, and Korea and Japan have different and very subjective beauty standards, but as long as you have ears and eyes, you can distinguish between bad and good skills. Beeing able to notice/appreciate good dancing and singing is not a personal preference, it is the reality in front of someone's eyes. Someone may actually like/appreciate even the bad singing but that still wont make it sound good to everyone else.
So the reason why Kpop is a success in Japan is clearly because of the talent difference.
But now Hybe has come into this situation with their profit driven business system, and has stopped being a company that makes music as a form of art. It has instead chosen to become a company that sells idols as their product.
In my opinion, isnt it a bit like ripping open the belly of the goose that laid the golden eggs?
Had the new idols that have come out of HYBE in the last 2~3 years been from SM, JYP, YG, I wonder how many would have been able to debut after following those three agencies strict evaluation training.

I went to a T for 2 years for EMDR for cptsd from childhood trauma. She was much better than the ones I went to before her, in that she wasn't overtly sexist or bigoted and didn't try to force me into gender roles. She also seemed open and attentive and knowledgeable at first.
She's in training, not a fully qualified EMDR practitioner, so the EMDR itself was all over the place and chaotic, but this post isn't really about that. I'm now going to a more experienced EMDR therapist, and I've been realizing that therapy can actually be a thing where my issues are actually addressed, taken seriously and gotten to the root of, instead of deflected, belittled, normalized, and left for me to battle with all along.
So, to keep it short, I really struggle with bringing my attachment issues into my marriage. As a child, I was not only abused, but emotionally neglected and abandoned by my non-abusive/less abusive parent, and as an adult, I am still terrified of that happening. This has lead to major projections onto my loving, sweet, caring husband who wouldn't abandon me.
When the projection happens, I am now starting to become aware of it, but earlier, I was totally oblivious. I'd just go to therapy and be like "help. I yelled at my husband for ...., and now I feel guilty." The answers I'd get from my previous therapist were along the lines of either telling me I shouldn't have done that and gently nudging me to "consider where the love is in what you're about to say" before saying anything to my husband next time I'm triggered, or justifying what I did and saying it's not that bad.
New therapist: let's dig into the issues. Let's see where this all started. Let's take a look at early childhood patterns of emotional neglect and abandonment. Why didn't the other one know about this stuff? Isn't this pretty basic? I'm not saying it isn't my responsibility and mine alone to change my bad habits. But I go to therapy every week, I put in the work, and I would expect the expert sitting there to have more to say than a good friend who knows nothing about therapy would.
Why am I still mad about this? I just spent the last month going to my new therapist saying I'm fine and let's just do EMDR, because the old one instilled a fear in me that if I talk, nothing will get done and no progress will be made. She made me believe that the not so normal things I do in everyday life and feel like I can't change no matter the effort I put in, are not a big deal, I should be able to just stop doing them, and it's my problem. So I've developed a fear of talking about my problems in therapy. So much time was wasted in Dr. Half-Qualified's office,that now I'm scared to open up to my totally qualified, totally safe new T (who, as a side note, also doesn't give sex advice along the lines of "the two of you should go to a park or elevator or something and do it where you're not supposed to to reignite the spark" lol)

I would really love to hear some thoughts or even insight on submitting work to fashion magazines through Kavyar. I get the impression that most of the magazines will publish just about anything you send them. Genuine question, has anyone ever had work rejected from magazines like Malvie Magazine?
The only good thing about this magazine is that at least the submission is free of charge... I've seen some that charge you hundreds of euros just to publish your pictures, and in the (unlikely) case that you get rejected, you don't get your money back??

This is my first time posting so im a bit unsure how to start but will start with the basics. I 31m have a fiance that's 46f we've been together 9 months and engaged for 5 months. I have 1 child 5m with my ex partner 36f and she has a Child from a previous relationship 12m. we were together 10 years separated for 2 year. Backstory I found out my ex was preparing to cheat on me so I asked her to leave as this was happening, when she left, she left both kids with me. my 3m at the time and the child from her previous relationship 11m at the time of our separation. I looked after both kids full time untill we went to 50/50 then after a few months of this both kids wanted to live with me full time so she let this happen. I then met my fiance and we started dating and she moved in and we got engaged, and I then asked the mother to have the children every fortnite so I could have some time with myself and fiancé. Recently the 13yo and I had an argument about him not cleaning his room and bag etc. He decided to go and live with his mother 36f. She them asked to come and pick up his things from my house that weekend. When she showed up with her new partner (the guy she was going to cheat on me with) I had allready packed the 13m items and said she does not need to come into the house his stuff is packed but if he wants to come and have a look in his room for any other items that wernt packed he could. My ex then started getting agressive about this and pushing her body into mine to force her way into my house. Once she got past me she started going up to his room and I again blocked her access. She started pushing past me again so I lifted her up in a bear hug and then placed her feet on the ground. Once I let go she flopped to the ground like a soccer player and then started screaming I assaulted her. My 5yo was crying at this point and she then yell "your kids fucken cry8ng ehat are you going to do about it" I then stopped caring what she was going and went and comforted the 5yo and took him to my fiancé who was on the phone with police. Then she left and police came and did a report. 3 weeks later I get served a protection order against her as she has claimed I assaulted her amongst alot of other false accusations, and in turn has been given a parenting order but she requested for the 5yo to continue living with me fulltime and continue going to her every fortnite. I'm objecting to the protection order and that day in court is coming up soon. My fiance and ex work together, not closely but in the same building all this shit is really effecting our relationship and my fiance is really unhappy with the situation. She said that it's hard to look at my son as all she can think of is my asshole of an ex when she does, and has expressed that the only way that i could make her happy right now is if I just give up and give my son to my ex full-time and stop proceeding with the court efforts as it will never end. I have told her that I can't stop fighting for him and she didn't say this as a choice she forcing apon me but is just expressing how she feels. The mother has allways referred to my son as "ypur child" and has showen on multiple occasions that she openly favors the 13yo. I dont want to fail with my fiance and I don't want to fail with my son either. I don't know what to do and am just looking for some advice or at least some diffrent opinions.

I recently stumbled upon a Reddit post where someone was struggling to come up with a name for their game. It got me thinking about our own journey to naming “Castle of Blackwater” and the memories came flooding back. Naming a game is no small feat, and it was quite challange for us too.
We knew from the start that we wanted to create a social deduction game. During the Christmas holiday, I traveled to Spain and spent some time working on different concepts. I explored a few ideas: one had a medieval theme, another was more temple-like, and the last concept revolved around a magical castle. The magical castle vibe resonated with us, so I immediately started writing the backstory and drafted the first two chapters. It was during this process that I envisioned a magical river with black water, which became a key element in the lore.
After returning from my trip, I sat down with my co-founder to brainstorm the name. This process took quite a while. We thought “Blackwater” sounded catchy and had a certain allure and mystery to it. Our first idea was “Battle of Blackwater,” but a quick Google search led us straight to a Game of Thrones episode. Clearly, we couldn’t use that.
Finally, we landed on “Castle of Blackwater,” and it just felt right. It’s been quite some time since then, and now we’re gearing up for our Steam launch at the end of 2024. It’s funny to think back on those days and see how far we’ve come.

Hi everyone, this is my first time posting here. I want to share some discoveries I've had with PCOS.
I (19F) was diagnosed with PCOS when I was around 12, my mom suffers from it and caught it just in time after she found out I didn't get my period. I've been on birth control ever since. My symptoms are mostly dark spots at the back of my neck, and under my armpit and under boob area. It was horrible, like a second dark layer of skin. Lots of acne and weight gain throughout the years aswell. Always had an irregular period even with birth control, the worst, I had to throw away so many underwear cause of it.
I also need to include I have hiperinsulinemia, and take metformin everyday. My doctors discovered it at the same time they found out my PCOS, so the treatment has been just as long.
It's been a year an a half since I stopped using birth control, I lost weight. My acne got way better with time and my dark spots have gotten significantly lighter! I even have a regular period, once at the end of each month!
I've never been happier and felt better, but I'm so confused on why my symptoms almost reversed after I stopped using birth control. I know PCOS doesn't have a cure, and I'll have to deal with it for the rest of my life, but I'm just so happy to be able to feel normal.
