Hope the Mods allow this post to stay to inform future buyers.
So if you tune into this sub for even a short time you can get a good idea of who is everyone’s favorite cosplay makers for helmets, suits and weapons. A thing i keep seeing is Wildranger5 is the tops and people still have concerns on Aniki even though they are now on Etsy.
Here’s my experience.
OG Red Ranger Jason is my favorite and Boom Comics did an amazing job with him becoming an Omega. So much so i decided i just HAD to have both helmets. But again, reading this sub Wildranger5 is better than Aniki so i decided to buy the Omega on Aniki and then after buy the OG Red from Wild because that one had to be perfect.
Wrong choice.
I contacted Aniki. Very fast response. Gave me a chart to measure, asked lots of questions to make sure a proper fit. Sent the money and i shit you not 3 months later i had it and it is perfect. Perfect. Arrived boxed well with a great bag to protect the helmet. Greatest day. Highly recommend them. Fast and sub $500(watch for sales!)
So I’m so stoked i have to write Wild and get going on that. He tells me its $500 with a 8 month wait. Dang ok that’s a long time but he is the best right?
So i put in my order and it s the greatest day. 8 months is 2 months before a Comic-Con so no problem.
So it’s 8 months, 9…10..ummm 1 yr and FINALLY. 1yr and 1 month later it arrives. Wow.ok.great.
Take it out, unwrap it and immediately show my wife and she frowns. Why? I looked closer at the helmet and there is huge bubble where the mouth is. And I’m devastated. Closer inspection there is paint chips and a crack. WTF?!
Immediately contact him and says it’s never happened and to send it back so he can fix it. 4 days later i spent extra money to get it to him in 10 days. Ok ok ok
This is July. Hoping to have it by halloweeen but i get assured it’s being rushed. He ends up fixing even more things i did’t seen but shines it up and puts more breathing holes in. And he tells me “it’s in with the Halloween orders.” Ok hell yes! Gonna have it for Halloween.
A month before its suppose to arrive i write home and now he tell me that now all the Halloween shipments are out he can ship mine. WTF? I told him and showed him what he said that mine was suppose to be by Halloween and he tells me those people paid extra. Hmmmm. So no dice.
Finally arrives last day of November.
1 year and 7 months later!! And it still has imperfections!
Both latches are missing some paint and on the top seem there is some chipping. I immedietly ask for the touch up paint color number because i’m done trusting this guy. He tell me the color and then adds “it’ll just chip off again if you use it.” And when i displayed it with lighting i noticed a paint dimple on the cheek that once you see it you can’t unsee it. So i cant even display it and look at it without my OCD hating on it. (I’ll try to fix myself someday)
Thats how you end it?
So in summary.
Aniki sub $500 and 3 months for a perfect helmet. Display worthy.
Wildranger5 $500 plus $75 to reship 1 year 7 months with delays, imperfections, deadlines missed, reships and just seemed unprofessional and I’m left with something i should just get rid of.
So not this saying this will happen to you but i say ANIKI all day.

What’s the #1 thing every founder needs to know?

I’ll give you a few minutes to make a list — top of mind might include sales, marketing, technology, product management (especially product-market fit), technical skills, fundraising, team building, leadership, management, finance, and planning/executing strategic growth and scaling.
Sure… but, sorry, none of that is the correct answer. Because, of course, you know that founders typically are expected to be jacks of all trades. So yes, to all of the above, but that’s not the secret sauce.
The #1 thing every founder needs to know is… themself.
Here’s the truth: founders start companies, and entrepreneurs build them. While not every entrepreneur is a founder (think franchise owners), every founder is an entrepreneur (at least initially).
If you’re like me, you are a forward-obsessed founder. That means where you are now is always building toward where you want to go. That person is always an entrepreneur. Once the company is started, you’ll do what it takes — including relinquishing control — to keep it growing.
Does that sting? We founders think of our companies as our babies, but statistics say we’re likely to be the ones kicked out of the nest. Also, research shows that in the US, only 14 out of the top selling 500 companies still have the original founder running the company. And the Harvard Business Review reports that most founders relinquish control long before their companies go public — and that four out of five are forced to step down as CEO.
It doesn’t have to be that way if you have one critical attribute: self-awareness. That way, you can decide as your company grows how you want to evolve your role in the overall day-to-day running of the company (i.e., learn, delegate, hire, move on). And ultimately, you can make better choices at critical growth junctures in your business progression.
So, to help you become more self-aware, it’s helpful to understand the different types of founders. Let’s dive in.

The Types of Founders

A couple of notes before we get into specifics:

Much like any other classification, there are gray areas, so you (and many of the examples I share in this article) may fit into more than one category.
Some traits are common to all founders, such as being open to innovation, passionate about their project, risk-takers, etc. But some founders excel or even over-index in certain attributes, so that’s what you’ll see in the different types.

The bottom line: knowing your strongest/weakest points is a critical piece of the self-awareness pie. That way, you can conduct your business in what I call the Green Zone — aka the Genius Zone, where you have both high passion and high competence — and make the best choices for you and your company.

1. The Solo Founder

Traits:

Fiercely independent
Self-assured
Strong belief in their vision/idea
Business strongly tied to skill set and experience
Resilient (i.e., can withstand feelings of loneliness)

Benefits:

Freedom
Complete control
Learn a lot

Pitfalls:

Solo-founded companies statistically have a higher failure rate
Harder to raise money/VCs are more reticent
Health impacts: burnout, loneliness, etc.
Attention is divided because you wear all the hats (marketing, sales, building your product, finances, fundraising, prospecting for new customers, etc.)
Complete responsibility for all aspects of the business

Example: Sara Blakely, Spanx Founder
Ten years ago, in 2012, when she was just 38, Sara Blakely became the world’s youngest self-made female billionaire. Her business, built on a significant industry gap (the lack of comfortable, effective shapewear) and her incredible sales hustle, also benefited greatly from Blakely’s abundant self-awareness. Here’s her advice to solo founders at a 2020 business conference:

“I tell people as soon as you can afford to hire your weaknesses, do it… As soon as I could afford to hire someone to do more of the operations side of the business, I did. As an entrepreneur, one of the biggest gifts you can give yourself is to stay in your lane.”

In other words, know what your Green Zone is and play there.
If you’re like Blakely, it’s usually big ideas and sales ability (she could easily qualify as a Visionary Founder, too) or operations and execution (what Blakely realized she needed help with).
Pro tip: If you’re a solo founder, you’ll likely want to lean into an entrepreneurial framework like the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) to help you define and settle into which side you skew toward.

2. The Visionary Founder (or Co-founders)

Traits:

Driven by a big idea
Disruptive — recognizes opportunities to upend traditional norms
Focused and clear
Persistent
Natural salesperson
Can see the big picture
Collaborative (esp. In co-founder scenario)
Motivated by the impact they have — more than $$ alone

Benefits:

Passionate about their work
Aren’t easily derailed — failures are expected, and mistakes are not made twice
Inspired leadership

Pitfalls:

So focused on the big picture that they may miss important details
A visionary idea doesn’t automatically = visionary leadership
Disconnected from reality at times
Easily bored when the mundane takes priority
May not plan succession well
Unrealistic expectations
Poor communication

Example: Steve Jobs & Steve Wozniak
Considering that Steve Jobs’ name is pretty much synonymous with “visionary,” I don’t think I need to list more than the products and industries Jobs’ revolutionized at Apple and beyond — Apple Computers, iPod (iTunes), iPad, iPhone, Pixar, iCloud — with many products and points in between. George Lucas, from whom Jobs bought the Graphics Group at Lucasfilm and renamed it “Pixar,” perfectly summarizes his superpower:

“The magic of Steve was that while others simply accepted the status quo, he saw the true potential in everything he touched and never compromised on that vision.”

Steve Wozniak was the technological yin to Jobs’ sales and marketing yang, bringing the vision of a computer with a graphic interface to life. From the visionary files, “Woz” also invented the first programmable universal remote and was an early innovator of wireless GPS (thanks to his clever dogs who routinely evaded electronic fences).

3. The Serial Disruptor

Traits:

Varied interests & capabilities
Easily bored — desires variety and change
Optimistic
Extremely innovative
High threshold for pain
Accepting of failure
Self-reliant
Diverse capabilities
Bold vision
Motivated by the impact they have — more than $$ alone

Benefits:

Variety of experiences
Flexibility and freedom
Diversification
Tons of opportunities for creative expression
Greater earning opportunities
Disrupts industries
Attracts high-quality talent

Pitfalls:

High risk
Difficulties finding trustworthy partners/can get stuck helming something when you want to move on
Multitudes of people reliant on you
Divided focus
Ego-driven pursuits

Example: Elon Musk
Like him or loathe him, Elon Musk is perhaps the most prolific (and successful) serial founder of all time with startups including Tesla, SpaceX, The Boring Company, and Neuralink, among others. His drive to design opportunities to evolve humanity has redefined both hustle culture and the art of serial entrepreneurship.
For serial founders, having a set of principles is key to their success. In Musk’s case, his use of “first principles” — reducing a process to its essential parts — has served him well, from helping him figure out how to make rockets cheaper and reusable (SpaceX) to shifting the narrative of electric vehicles (Tesla).

4. The Engineer

Traits:

Engineer by experience and nature
Technically savvy
Able to problem-solve technology-driven issues (not just with the product but also operations-wise)
Strong desire to not just innovate but also to accelerate progress
Expansive vision of how technology can solve common problems
Level-headed
Agile, fast learners
Focused on execution

Benefits:

Pragmatic approach
Own technology
Problems are solved quickly
Able to employ technology to reduce time to market
Solutions for products can become new products in their own right

Pitfalls:

Not well versed in other crucial areas (i.e., sales, marketing)
Over-index on having lower Emotional Intelligence (EQ)
Because they can learn quickly, so may get stuck playing outside of the green zone

Example: Mark Zuckerberg
Much like the other examples I’m sharing, Mark Zuckerberg’s story has been widely told, so you probably know about his development of Facebook. But at his core, Zuckerberg is an engineering prodigy and geek. At just 13 in 1997, he built “ZuckNet,” which enabled the family’s home computers to communicate via Ping (a precursor of AOL’s Instant Messenger) with his father’s dental office computers. He was using AI in his senior year in high school, so the roots of his Meta(verse) focus today are apparent.
A common weakness for engineers is they tend to have a lower EQ, which has been well-researched. As a former engineer, I understand how logic and technology come easier than understanding human behavior. This is why tech founders should seek out mentors early and bring in competent leaders with high EQ and leadership skills — for example, Zuckerberg credits his former COO of 14 years, Sheryl Sandberg, for turning the company into a multi-billion dollar company.

5. The Personality Founder

Traits:

Charismatic and gregarious
Attracts a vast audience
Influential
Ambitious
Forward-thinking
Inwardly motivated (responds to a “calling”)
Excellent storytellers
Authentic and honest (ideally 😉)

Benefits:

Has a built-in audience and established social platforms
Likely has pre-existing wealth (can help fund the business/mitigate startup money woes)
Can use their power for good; disruptive in a positive way

Pitfalls:

Needs to find the right people to trust
Can’t just be the “face” of the business; needs to accrue real business chops
Celebrity and influence status don’t equal quality products
Difficult or impossible for the founder to leave

Example: Oprah
I’m using Oprah as an example, as her products are an outgrowth of her — her eponymous talk show, which ran for 25 years, the OWN network, O Magazine, her book club, and a variety of charitable endeavors comprise her vast empire. But of course, we know plenty of other personality brands that have racked up billions in sales and even transformed, from the Kardashians/Jenners, to Bethany Frankel and Ryan Reynolds (just watch Deadpool 3 to see his brands — coming in 2023).
In today’s age of influence, we’ve seen a surge of personality brands and founders who leverage built-in audiences and communities to scale quickly. All these names are business mavericks in their own right, but many didn’t start out this way — they deftly utilize their charisma and ability to entertain to shape their brands and pave the way to success.

6. The Accidental Founder

Traits:

Independent
Resourceful
Necessity-driven
Follow their desire/passion
Creative
Willing to take risks

Benefits:

A deep belief in what they’re doing
Solves real-world problems based on personal experience
Discover they’re much happier running their own show
Turns skills, vocation, or avocation into a profitable business

Pitfalls:

May not have the business chops
Reluctant business person — may not actually want to run their own business
Needs to find the right people to trust
Overwhelm

Example: Yvon Chouinard
Patagonia founder Yvon Chouinard has been in the news lately for giving away his company to fight climate change. He’s an OG accidental entrepreneur whose passion for rock climbing led him to develop reusable pitons (rock climbing spikes) and, later, heavy-duty shirts. Famously Chouinard called himself a “dirtbag climber” and didn’t want to become a business mogul. Sixty-five years later, this accidental founder’s company is valued at $3 billion, and his latest innovation is a way of giving away the profits of a company to continue his contribution to society — protecting and preserving the natural world.
As I always say, there are riches in the niches, and accidental entrepreneurs are the leading type of founders to discover a marketplace with little or no competition.

7. The Intentional Founder

Traits:

Purpose-driven
Strong ideals and values
Passionate about the bigger picture impacts
Socially conscious
Clear and focused on the brand mission

Benefits:

An empathetic approach to the product/the company
Can educate, empower, and motivate others (i.e., team, customers)
Employees are statistically more satisfied and likely to stay
Commitment to a higher ideal engenders more loyalty and trust with the general public (customers)

Pitfalls:

Moving from individual ideals to a group effort is tricky
Difficult to find employees with perfectly aligned values
Might not have the business experience to set the organization up for long-term success
Purpose-driven (belief) isn’t the same as purpose-enabled (capability)
Might be challenging for the company to survive the loss of the founder

Example: Jessica Alba
While Jessica Alba does have some touches of a Personality Founder (she is an actor) and an Accidental Founder (an allergic reaction to detergent made her worry about her new baby’s sensitive skin), she is an excellent example of an intentional founder. Back in 2008, when Alba had that allergic reaction, influencer marketing wasn’t what it is today — plus, she had some success but was by no means a household name. Ditto for eco-conscious consumer packaged goods — a plus, sure, but didn’t have the same urgency and importance it does today. Alba then spent years researching ingredients in everyday products and even went to DC to lobby for updates to the 1976 Toxic Substances Control Act. Convinced that consumers need safe, affordable, environmentally friendly products for kids and home, Alba launched The Honest Company in 2011.
Now, she did have seasoned co-founders, her own wealth to use out the gates, and VC support shortly after that, but it has always been Alba’s commitment to and alignment with the brand’s core principles that have kept the brand growing and thriving — today, as a publicly traded company with a 2021 $412.8 IPO.

Salutations, fellow petty revengers!
This is a story from my youth. To briefly sum up the situation: nearby where I live there is a road that goes all around my city. The particular section in this story comes up a slight hill then it goes downward for quite a while, maybe a full mile, and at the end of it there is a big parking area for a local big store.
One of those days, a traffic cop had made that downward mile stretch his "feeding trough" spot. He parked his car behind some bush and hid behind it, waiting for a passing car to suddenly jump out and stop. Note: this is not in the US, so the cops here don't need a probable cause to stop cars.
So, one night, he stopped me in my car. Very rude, very condescending, very sure of himself, arrogant, I-am-above-God attitude. He checked my documents (all in order), checked the car (all in order), checked everything and all was in order. Then he showed me his radar gun and it showed way over the speed limit.
Now, I knew for a fact that I wasn't speeding. I don't know what he had done to the instrument, maybe he didn't reset it from the previous reading, maybe it wasn't working at all, I don't know. But he wrote me a ticket for driving 32km/h (20 mph?) over the limit.
Same thing happened the next night when I was going home from a gathering with friends. This time I knew he might be there, so I was extra careful with my speed. He saw my lights, jumped out to stop me, and showed me the radar: 32km/h over the speed limit. The exact same number from last night. And I knew the jig is on.
It's a big part of our "cop culture" here that the first thing a cop says when he comes up to your window is not "License and registration", it's "You're speeding, what are we gonna do now?" And most people prefer to give the cop some part of the ticket's value instead of paying it to the state in full. This cop has made this spot his personal money maker.
I knew that I can't prove anything or do anything about it back then. Remember, this is not the US, we don't have your guys' luxuries. My word against his would always end with him winning in those days. Exceptions were truly rare. So, I knew I had to get him another way.
That weekend I gathered my friends, and we cooked a plan. We waited for the evening, and I was ready at the start of the stretch. We confirmed the cop was again there, and we began. I drove down, he stopped me, I said "Good evening, officer "Mike", he looked at me and said "We know our lesson now, do we?" I nodded, gave him a 20, and he let me go.
I drove to the parking area, parked my car, jumped in a friend's car, we went out of the parking area, made a U-turn, drove the mile back up the hill and switched places. I then drove down again, he stopped the new car, came to my window, I said, "Good evening, officer "Mike" with a 20 in my hand. He was stunned and just waved me to go.
I went to my friends, we laughed for several minutes, then I got into yet another car, did the same drive and the same switch. This time he didn't even come to the window. He shone his flashlight, saw it's me, and waved me to go.
He knew me now, so I had to up my game. Wigs, scarfs, hats, hoodies, even a fake moustache, all went into play. He stops me, flashlights the masked me, walks up, hears "Good evening, officer "Mike" with the 20 in hand, and waves. One of those times he actually asked me "What are you doing?! Don't you have something better to do?" and I said, "No, officer "Mike", we got aaaaaall weekend free".
Eleven times we did that, in the span of like 3 hours. On the 12th run he wasn't there anymore, and I never saw him again.
I wish we had camera phones, dashcams and Go-Pros back then, it would be so much easier to load my car with cameras and annihilate his ass in court, but I don't regret it much.
It definitely wouldn't be so much fun.

The goal is to have a Champions League that includes as many European Nations as possible, while at the same time satisfying the financial needs of big clubs and keeping the established and popular leagues at a national level intact.
It should increase the frequency a top team plays any given other top team, without expanding the schedule too much and without increasing the stress on top players.
If group play, quite boring at times, gets a little boost, it would be appreciated as well.
Setup: 42 Teams participate. 21 spots for Top 4: England 6, Italy 5, Spain 5, Germany 5
21 spots for other countries, determined using a 5y Ranking and qualifying rounds
Each country gets to choose its own Champions League participants independently. If England wants to include the same 6 clubs each year, so be it.
Group play: 2 groups with 21 teams each. 10 dates on the schedule.
A game day in a group consists of 7 tournaments featuring 3 teams. They play each other once for 45 minutes. The home team plays the first and final game. Would look like this:
7.00pm Arsenal London - Ajax Amsterdam 8.15pm Ajax Amsterdam - FC Barcelona 9.30pm Arsenal London - FC Barcelona
In this design, each teams has 3 home tournaments and 6 road dates in Europe.
Additionally the opening tournaments are played overseas (USA, Asia).
Each team would play all other 20 teams in its group once, which is highly desirable. The current proposal with 7 random opponents out of 35 fails spectacularly in that regard.
It would also match up top teams much more frequently than in the past. Each top team would play any given other top European team at least once every 2 years on average.
Roster rule: Each player on a roster can only play in one 45 minute game each day.
Despite having more dates on the schedule, the minutes played by the top players would decrease slightly during group play, while the depth players are utilized more.
Including games with this 45minute design into the soccer schedule optimizes a lot: The clubs get to play the maximum amount of games possible given their roster, getting a full workload out of everybody. It would also increase happiness: Everybody gets to play.
Knockout stage: Standard play over 90mins and 2 legs. The top 12 out of 21 teams in each group qualify. The top 4 get a bye for a Play-In round that matches A5vB12, A6vB11 and so on. There will be no more draws for the knockout rounds. In the past too often an unbalanced draw pooling the top teams on one side resulted from it.
Round of 16 will match the group winner with the most points and the lowest seed left, followed by the the other group winner and so on.
Kickoff Times: The best time to kick off a standard midweek game is between 7 and 8 in the evening, local time. Right now some of the biggest Champions League matches that go to extra time or a shootout finish around midnight, thus completely excluding kids or people that have to work early. Not desirable at all. Even the regular finish to a game is too late. Every game should start at 8pm continental european time at the latest.
Schedule: To make room for the 10 group stage dates, the Nations League (which was uncalled for in the first place) gets cancelled. The qualifying matches for the World Cup and EURO can be spread out more over a 2 year time period. Some, if not most friendlies should be cancelled as well. By including a Champions League week overseas, teams can cancel some of their ineffective preseason marketing tours in USA and Asia as well.
Refereeing/Offside: The calibration of technical aid (VaR) will continue for some time. Offside needs immediate clarity and fixing:
1)The linesman (who has to be a full time and well paid professional wearing a number) always immediately signals for Offside, if he has detected it.
2 )The referee never immediately stops play. Instead he waits for confirmation from the VaR, who in real-time doublechecks it. This check has to take at least 10 seconds.
Finances: The prize money distribution is not sensible as well. A random bounce in a close early knockout match should not potentially be worth €50m. Spreading the money out more even would reduce revenue volatility and make budgeting easier.
Real Madrid: Real is an integral part of European Soccer. It’s current management crew with help from UEFA has cheated soccer for a long time. A new and better Real should be forgiven and included. Real has to be part of the new Champions League right away. Otherwise something would be missing. Real has legions of fans, and is owned by it’s members. These Socios could give up 25% of their economic interest to bring the debt from the Stadium renovation down to a sustainable level.

To summarize the above paraphrase from the Q4 Form 10-K, Gamestop has the ability to invest their BILLION dollars in cash into public and marketable securities in which Cohen or other members ALSO invest in. Cohen’s largest position personally is Gamestop shares and this filing allows Gamestop to buy its OWN shares without having to retire those shares like a stock buy-back. This is a genius way for a company to buy its own stock during heavily shorted downward prices or during the stock’s price cycles who have seen fast 100% gains and 50% drops. This also secures the members of the investor committee to also purchase more shares of GameStop.. This is avenue 2.
Lastly, from the Form 424B5 filed on May 17, 2024, “We have entered into an Open Market Sale AgreementSM, or Sales Agreement, with Jefferies LLC, or Jefferies, on May 17, 2024, relating to shares of our Class A common stock, par value $0.001 per share, or common stock. I always wanted to see Hanako as the 10th rival rather than Megami because, well, Hanako is Taro's sister. A family member would be the hardest individual to get rid of and a huge pain for someone to lose.
So, I've decided to rewrite Hanako and make her the 10th rival instead of Mary Sue (she needs to go straight to the trash, smh).
⚠️ Some things will be changed in future, so beware! 😀
Instead of Hanako being the childish, incest, and clingy sister that Pedodev made her to be, I decided to make her act more like Nemesis minus the whole revenge plan she has and she does have her hair loose instead of pigtails . So, let me go into more detail →

Why is Hanako the 10th rival? What makes her so different from Mary Sue?

Hanako is Taro's sister. That's a huge difference between Megami and her. Taro does love his family, especially his sister he grew close to and helped raise. Megami is nothing to Taro. Taro would choose Hanako over Megami any day. No one can replace his own sibling.
Hanako isn't a Mary Sue. She does have flaws. Hanako can be killed, framed, matchmade, and any other elimination that the game has. Sure, it will be harder to actually kill her, but she can be killed.
Hanako does know how to protect herself in this rewrite. There's a reason why she does something traumatic that happened to her. It does involve the gloves she's wearing.

What happened that made her this way?

Hanako used to be a very cheerful young little girl. She used to be very outgoing, having no worries in her life, and seeing no danger in the world as many children do.
Until an event took place that changed her perspective on the world. Considering that Hanako was an outgoing little girl who didn't see the dangers the same way her own parents did, Hanako was almost kidnapped by two men (who were part of a human trafficking business). They needed a new and fresh victim to get money, and seeing Hanako and her innocent little self was the perfect opportunity to kidnap her and get money quickly. Hanako tried fighting back against them. Even if they were armed with a knife, it didn't stop her. As a result of this, the knife slashed her palm, causing her to let out a bloody scream.
Hanako needed stitches for the wound on her palm. It left a scar. She uses gloves to cover it and not remember that traumatizing memory.
Fortunately, her parents and Taro heard and were able to stop it, but her father and mother were injured in the process of saving her, mostly her father, who almost cost his life to save her. Taro couldn't do much since he was still a kid when this happened. His mother made sure he was away and safe from those two men.
Hanako's perspective of the world around her changed completely after that event. Seeing her parents' injuries, and if it wasn't for their mother, Taro would have been injured or killed or even taken. Something snapped in her.
Ever since that event, Hanako became very clingy to her parents and Taro, not leaving their side, especially when they were in public and around a large group of people.
As she grew older, Hanako decided to take classes of self-defense to protect herself and her family from anyone. This continued for a few more years and remained close to her family, taking care of them and making sure they were safe from harm or danger.
⚠️ Her backstory might change in the future, so be beware!

Why was she absent for nine weeks? Where was she?

She was in America training in a program that chose her to continue her training of self-defense, sensing danger, etc. Her mother went with her since she was still underage during the time. Hanako has been there for a year. By the time Ayano is “active”, she will have been in America for two years.
Hanako did continue her education in America. During her time there, she would keep in touch with her brother, telling him about her training, her education, her day, how it was in America, etc. Even if the two siblings were very far away, their sibling love remained very close and strong.

What made her return to Japan and enroll in Akademi?

Hanako decided to return to Japan and enroll in Akadmi when she found out what was happening with her brother, his mental health and what would happen to other students if Ayano decided to murder her rivals or any other student. Each week, his mental health would decrease depending on how Ayano gets rid of the rival. His mental health will decrease much more if he saw the corpse of a rival or saw them be killed in front of him, especially if it's Osana.
Hanako decides to go back to Japan, not finishing her program and enrolling in Akademi as soon as possible before the week even starts, to be there for her brother, comfort, and protect him.
She's quite happy to be with her brother and father again after two years.

What are the obstacles that Ayano will face?

→ Hanako will always be next to Taro to keep him company. She will do anything in her power to comfort her brother and be by his side after being gone for two years. Even if he was the oldest, Hanako would take care of him the same way he did for her.
→ Hazu Kashibuchi. He will be Hanako's suitor. Hanako will meet Hazu on the first day of Akademi since they sit right next to each other in class. Hazu will be Hanako's first friend. So, Hanako will be close to Hazu as well during the week and be in the sewing room as well. Hazu will teach her how to sew. Taro will be there as well to learn and find a good way to release stress and focus on something positive.
→ Genka, the guidance counselor, will be an obstacle for Ayano as well. Hanako will be with Genka along with her brother. Taro will use this time with Genka to speak with her about his mental health and his thoughts while Hanako will be next to him, listening and holding his hand. There will be meetings between Genka and Hanako to speak about Taro's mental health and how he is doing and tell Hanako ideas on how to help her big bro. Those ideas are going to be the events that Ayano has to sabotage
→ Hanako can sense danger. She can immediately apprehend Ayano and break her arm. Even if she's short, she will stop Ayano from harming her or any student. If Ayano is doing anything suspicious, Hanako will keep her eyes on her until she's out of her sight. Hanako can be framed, but her gloves need to be taken from her. Ayano has to find a way to do it.
→ ⚠️ Osana and Raibaru. Hanako is very close to Osana as well, so Hanako would spend a lot of her time with Osana and Raibaru who she sees as a new friend, and someone who she can relate to and have self-defense lessons with. So, Raibaru will be a big challenge for Ayano. Osana will be a threat if she's still alive. If not, Raibaru will be the threat. Unless she's dead, too. So this obstacle is a “If” thing.
→ I would add Budo if Taro and Budo were close friends. I feel like Hanako would spend time with him since they do share a strong sense of justice and know self-defense. Budo is quite popular, so he would know how to survive Akademi lol
→ The clubs. Considering that Hanako has been in America for the past two years and training, she decided to join a club after she found out how many clubs there were. The reason why is because she wants to have a hobby and explore something new. So, Hanako, during the week, would be walking in and out of club rooms to speak with the club leaders and meeting the members as well. Considering that some of the club members do leave their club rooms or areas like the Gardening Club, Hanako will be surrounded by students, so it'll be hard to find a spot without having a student as a witness.
→ Considering that Nemesis carries around a knife during mission mode, I want to make Hanako carry a knife to protect herself with. A knife that she can hide. So technically, she can kill Ayano. I might change this.
→ Considering it's the 10th week, the student council president election will be taking place, so students will be walking around, gossiping around in the halls, some will be near the student council room to determine who deserves the spot, some students will be running around the school, or standing at certain places where Ayano can't get Hanako alone. Hanako would most likely be with her brother, walking around and having her brother explain what's going on before she goes off on her own and explores what's going on. Hanako would most likely try to speak with the student council, or at least be in the same area as them.

What's her befriending stealth mission?

It will involve either those two men (who are much older, but they will be trying to find new victims to take). Ayano will know what happened to Hanako by eavesdropping on her conversations with Taro and Genka. (They can also be used for the “Drive to Murder” elimination for Hanako)
Maybe in this mission, Hanako will be asking Ayano to get evidence against the human traffickers to put them behind bars and save the victims who couldn't be saved like she was. This would bring Ayano into great danger of either being killed or being used for human trafficking herself. Ayano is a good-looking girl, so the business would think she would bring good customers.
It will take research to know where the human traffickers are located, or at least the help of Info-chan.
There's still some things I need to think about for this stealth mission!
Or
Someone that she met during her time in America who came to Japan way before Hanako did. A rival for Hanako. They would have some history together that Taro wouldn't know about. I haven't thought much about this mission, so I'll see what I can make up :]

As the title states, I currently have a 0% success rate out of 54 job applications. I've only had three interviews, two over the phone and one in-person, with no call backs or even a rejection email. My stats are below. I have also attached a screenshot of my current resume. It's a little blurry but it's still readable.
Applied: 54
Rejections: 19
Interviews: 3 (No offers, last interview was two weeks ago)
Not going to lie, I am kind of lost at the moment. I have no clue what to do going forward except keep applying with hope.
Possible reasons for no offers:

I am lacking finance job experience. I switched over to finance from neuroscience (pre-med) during my junior year of college. Internships didn't really matter for pre-med, and I didn't know that internships are one of the most important aspects of finance undergrads. That's on me, I should've done more research, but I can't change that now. My current internship is more data entry not really finance related. It was the only internship I could get so I thought that some experience was better than no experience.
No undergrad clubs or campus involvement. To be completely honest, I just did not have the energy nor desire to participate in clubs. I commuted to campus for classes and my commute was about 1.25 hours to and from campus. I usually got to campus around 8:30 am and didn't leave campus until around 5:00 pm. Once I got home, I had to study and do homework. I also worked part-time on days that I didn't have classes, averaging 24 hours per week.

Possible solutions for an offer:

Pursue a Master's. From the analytics I can see on LinkedIn, I am losing out on the majority of opportunities to master's and PhD holders (Yes, I am going for entry-level jobs and am shocked these guys are too). I have been accepted into an MSF program at a small university in Kentucky. It's not a well-known school at all, but it's pretty cheap and it's all online since I want to work to build experience and earn money. The total amount for the one I have been accepted to is ~$11k, compared to the University of Kentucky's ~$28k.
Pursue the CFA. I have been studying for the CFA but have not decided on an exam date. At this point, is it even worth going for?

My overall career goal is either fund management, financial analyst, investment analyst, or equity research. At this point in my job search, I will honestly take anything I can get. I would understand my struggle if I had a 2.8 GPA or only applied to mid-senior level positions, but I have a decent GPA of 3.64 and am only applying to entry-level roles that do not require a lot of experience. I am also very good at in-person interviews and personally feel that I nailed the (3) interviews I've had, which I studied and practiced for. I had some professors say we could expect to send out 100 applications before we got an offer, but I thought they were only half joking lmao. Naturally, I'm asking you all for help with the following questions:

Should I pursue a master's degree? MSF, MSACC, MBA?
Should I even pursue the CFA?
Should I look for internships to gain financial experience?
Should I add or omit anything to/from my resume?

Hey club fitting community. I've recently taken an interest in club fitting and was wondering what the best way to learn the trade is? My grandfather used to be a club fitter and actually went to a school in West Virginia to get certified. It was mostly just a hobby for him but I've always been interested in how to do it. Is there any specific resources besides Youtube to learn? I'd eventually like to get certified but want to see if it's something I actually enjoy before investing a ton of time and money into it.

So looks like the waitress in that cafe was lucky enough to get enough money from Charlotte LaBoeff to buy her restaurant. When we left the cafe, we followed her to the real estate office of the Fenner Bros. and we waited about an hour, sitting on a bench. Every second I spent on Isaac's shoulder as a frog was me sunbathing, contemplating life, and daydreaming about torturing and murdering Nonon. As Tiana ran out of the office, she beckoned us to follow us.
Tiana: Come along! I gotta show you guys!
We followed her down the street for a couple of blocks before we found the old dilapidated building she was planning to buy. Only seeing the outside of the building, the Fenner brothers came up to the realty sign and removed it.
Tiana: Everything looks peachy keen Mr. Fenner, and Mr. Fenner.
Fenner 1: We have the paperwork ready to sign first thing after Mardi Gras.
Tiana: I'll do you one better. I'll sign them tonight when I see you at the Labouff masquerade ball!
The two brothers ignored her, putting the wooden sign into their car and driving off with it. Suddenly, an older black woman appeared behind Tiana.
Tiana's mother: Table for one please!
She was holding a big sauce pot with a red ribbon on it.
Tiana: Mama!
Tiana's mother: Here's a little something to help you get started.
Tiana: Ah! Daddy's gumbo pot. Oh.
Tiana hugged her mother and she spoke again.
Tiana's mother: I know. I miss him too. Well now, hurry up and open the door.
Upon opening the door, Tiana shut the doors immediately and both her and her mother began to hyperventilate. Something was terribly wrong.
Isaac: T-Tiana is it? Is something wrong?
Suddenly, a hole was smashed through the door by a big furry arm as Tiana and her mother ran over to Isaac and his behind him, screaming!
Tiana: What the hell is that?
Isaac reached for his plasma saw and turned it on. It whirred loudly before both doors were slamme open and a dozen of those rat-humanoid monsters barged out!
Ryuko: Shit! Rat bastards! Come on Isaac, you can take them down! Tell Wiz and Boomstick who's boss!
Issac: Oh I will. I'm an exterminator too on top of being an engineer!
Nonon never seeing these monsters before put her hands on her ears and screamed "Oh my G-d" over and over again as Isaac ran into the fight with me and Buzz as frogs on his shoulder!
Isaac: Mourir monsteurs!
Isaac slashed through the horde, swinging quickly and broadly as he cut them down multiple at a time! He jumped high into the air and used his summoned swords magic to shoot two rat bastards, impaling them before clapping and blowing them along with any nearby rat bastards up!
Nonon: What are those things? Oh my G-d!
Gamagoori as a big bullfrog woke up and climbed out of Nonon's pocket.
Gamagoori: Rats! The monsters Wiz and Boomstick created to try and slow Ryuko down so she can't save Mako! Come on! We gotta fight them!
As Isaac cut them up, we saw two cheese pukers emerge from the open door, I called it out to him but saw a big mass of bricks on the roof.
Ryuko: Cheese pukers! Don't let them get close! I'm gonna take them down!
Isaac: Ryuko wait no!
I hopped off his shoulder with Buzz and we hopped onto the wall, climbed up before hopping over to the mass of bricks, me and buzz then began to push them off all at once slowly before they all fell onto the stationary cheese pukers, causing them to explode! Blood, guts, and rotten cheese slurry splattered all over the street, the sight and sent caused Tiana, Nonon and her mother to puke.
Gamagoori hopped out of Nonon's pocket and hopped over to the wall and climbed up with us.
Gamagoori: I'm gonna help! Isaac! More are coming!
More rat bastards charged at Isaac, but he began to cut them all down as they got close. The ones that tried to swipe and swing at him were easily dodge as Isaac was very fast. He dodged, dashed and even did backflips to avoid their attacks all while cutting them down with one swing of his powerful plasma blade! Emerging from the door once more was a big, muscular rat monster with crusty, disgusting fur with dead, diseased rat fetuses stuck to it. It ripped one out and threw it at Isaac, he dodged it quickly!
Isaac: Tiana duck!
Tiana, Nonon and her mother ducked as the diseased rat-humanoid corpse flew over their heads, mere inches from their scalps. Isaac then used his summoned swords magic again and threw two glowing blue swords into it before clapping and blowing it into bloody chunks! None of it's diseased biomass hit us or our human friends bellow.
Isaac: That's not all...
We heard a tapping sound, it became more rapid as Tiana, Nonon and her mother squeaked in fear and all three got rolled into a ball to protect themselves. Out of the doorway was the last rat bastard, but the most horrific looking one. It was as big as the doorway, it had six spider legs, it's body was a big mass of gray fur with two rat bastard heads and a human head wearing a crown in the middle. The human head was familiar however, with the burned scar over it's left eye and brown hair.
Ryuko: Santa told me... Those rat bastards are from a mix of rodent DNA and DNA from Z-Zuko! That's Zuko's head?
The Zuko head stared at Isaac for a moment before it's mouth opened up, revealing hideous, rotten needle-like teeth!
Zuko head: Rarrgggghhhhh!
It ran over to Isaac, trying to get one of it's disgusting heads to bite him, but he jumped around and avoided it! He whirred his plasma saw loudly before jumping behind it but before he could cut it's three heads off, the new rat bastard spun around and bit his plasma saw, holding it in place. One of it's spider legs swept Isaac's legs and he fell to the ground. It then slowly began using it's heads that bit onto the plasma saw while having it's mouths avoid the cutting blue blades press on further, as the plasma saw was pushed further to Isaac's neck, he sweated profusely!
Isaac: You! Mon-steur! Rrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
Isaac struggled with it before Tiana ran up behind it with a random wooden plank she used as a club and hit it over the human head! It let go and pulled back and turned towards Tiana, hissing at her before Isaac began to slowly overpower the two rodent heads still pushing on! The two head's teeth accidentally slipped on the blade and Isaac soon cut through their heads, killing two of them. Tiana jammed the wooden plank down the human Zuko head's throat but it bit down and bit the plank in half! Isaac's plasma saw then cut the human head off after cutting through the two other rodent heads from behind! Isaac then kicked the newly killed monster off of him high into the air before Isaac dropped his plasma saw, grabbed it by the legs and swung around with it like a track and field throwing ball before releasing it and it flew high into the sky, so high as a matter of fact that we eventually lost visual contact with it as it travelled so high.
Isaac took some deep breaths before picking up his plasma saw, turning it off and holstering it on his side.
Tiana: Are they gone?
Nonon: What were those things?
Isaac: You didn't run into them? They're the race created by Wiz and Boomstick to kidnap Mako. They're monsteurs me and Ryuko fought. If you want to travel with us, you better not be dead weight. You did nothing to help. Ryuko, Buzz and Gamagoori can't fight at their best right now because of you. So you can do your part or get out.
Nonon: Yes sir. I'll-gulp try.
Tiana: T-thank you for saving me. You are very strong and handsome!
Isaac: Ma plaisir.
Tiana: Did you fight in the great war? You are French after all.
Isaac: Great war? World War o- oh... No I didn't. What year is it again?
Tiana: 1926!
Isaac: 1926! I'm only 26. I... I was 18 in-
Tiana: 1918. Did you fight?
Isaac: Errrr... That's not important. Anyway, I'm going inside your new restaurant. I'll check for any more of those rat bastards.
Tiana: Thank you. Can you tell me when it's clear?
Isaac: Oui.
Isaac proceeded into the ruins before me, Buzz and Gamagoori hopped down a hole from the ceiling, landing on his shoulder.
Isaac: I should of known we travelled back in time in this world. We're in 1926. I wouldn't be born until 1992.
Ryuko: Dang. We're 92 years in the past. Yet again we were in the 15th century months ago.
Gamagoori: What are you talking about?
Ryuko: Me and Isaac going through these worlds, some of them are in the past, one was in 1482! This is the second historical world we've been sent into to find the next dimensional stone.
Buzz: Interuniversal and time travel I see. Your civilization is more advanced then I thought.
Ryuko: Well, it's magic really.
Buzz: Magic! Interesting. I wonder if I can use any.
Ryuko: We'll find out.
Gamagoori: I hope you guys know what you're doing. Will the dimensional stones lead us to Mako?
Ryuko: Yep! Sure will. It will lead us to Mako, we'll save her from Death Battle and we'll kill Wiz, Boomstick and their raping ringmaster.
Gamagoori: I just hope we don't get stuck in the past. I hope you know what you're doing. Also I want to be human again.
Ryuko: We'll get there eventually.
Meanwhile, in the streets of New Orleans, Prince Naveen was joining a street band playing Jazz as everyone was surrounding him, the women were especially fawning over him. His fat servant ran over to him!
Lawrence: Prince!
Naveen: Dance with me, fat man!
The prince took his servant's hand and began to dance around with him for a minute before he announced a proposal to the crowd.
Naveen: Drinks are all on me!
Everyone was cheering, but the servant grabbed the prince and pulled him closer to question him.
Lawrence: How are we going to pay for all of that? You have no money! Either you go and slip out when nobody's looking, or get a job!
Lawrence pointed over to a man behind a horse shoveling it's poop into a bucket.
Naveen: Eugh, fine Lawrence. But first, we dance!
He pulled Lawrence even closer and began to dance with him. The prince let go of Lawrence and he stumbled into the band and his head ended up inside of a tuba!
Naveen: Ha ha! You're finally in the music! Get it? Because your head is inside of a tuba? Ha ha!
Lawrence: Get me out of here!
Naveen and a member of the band pulled at Lawrence before both the prince and his servant were flung out of a tuba and up against a wall!
Lawrence: Agh! How degrading! This is... Oh hello?
Looking up, a slender figure in a black suit and black top hat appeared, he had a top hat with a skull and crossbones on it. This man looked suspicious but he greeted both of them kindly.
Dr. Facilier: Gentlemen! Enchante?
He lowered his walking stick, allowing the prince to grab on so he can be lifted up.

He handed the prince a purple business card.
Naveen: Tarot readings? Charms? Potions? Dreams made real?
Naveen and Facilier began to walk around a corner into an alleyway.
Dr. Facilier: I'm in the business of visiting royalty. Lawrence followed him.
Naveen: Lawrence! Lawrence! This remarkable gentleman has just read my palm.
Lawrence: Over this morning's newspaper. Sire, sire, this chap is obviously a charlatan. I suggest we move on to a-
Dr. Facilier: Don't you disrespect me little man! Don't you derogate or deride! You're in my world now. Not your world. And I got friends on the other side!
An echo was heard, saying "Friends on the other side".
Dr. Facilier: That's an echo, gentlemen. Just a little something we have here in Louisiana, a little parlor trick. Don't worry.
Dr. Facilier led the two to a door under a sign saying "Dr. Facilier's voodoo emporium", and once leading them in, him and his shadow sat them down at a table as Dr. Facilier high-fived his shadow then took a seat and continued his singing.
Dr. Facilier: Sit down at my table, put your minds at ease, if you relax it will enable me to do anything I please. I can read your future, I can change it 'round some, too, I'll look deep into your heart and soul. You have a soul too, don't you Lawrence?
Lawrence: Yes?
Dr. Facilier: Make your wildest dreams come true! I got voodoo, I got hoodoo, I got things I ain't even tried! And I got friends on the other side.
Dr. Facilier pulled out a deck of tarot cards and shuffled them before the duo as he continued to sing at them.
Dr. Facilier: The cards, the cards, the cards will tell the past, the present, and the future as well! The cards, the cards, just take three, take a little trip into your future with me!
Naveen and Lawrence picked three cards before Dr. Facilier took them and told them to the duo. He started with the prince first and continued to sing about his tarot card readings.
Dr. Facilier: Now you, young man, are from across the sea. You come from two long lines of royalty. I'm a royal myself on my mother's side. Your lifestyle's high but your funds are low. You need to marry a lil' honey whose daddy got dough! Mom and dad cut you off, huh playboy?
Naveen: Eh, sad but true.
Dr. Facilier: Now y'all gotta get hitched, but hitching ties you down. You just wanna be free, hop from place to place But freedom takes green! It's the green, it's the green, it's the green you need. And when I looked into your future it's the green that I see!
He then turned to Lawrence and read his tarot card results to him in a musical fashion.
Dr. Facilier: On you little man, I don't wanna waste much time. You been pushed around all your life, you been pushed around by your mother and your sister and your brother, and if you was married, you'd be pushed around by your wife. But in your future, the you I see is exactly the man you always wanted to be!
Dr. Facilier crossed his arms and expected the duo to shake his hands.
Dr. Facilier: Shake my hand, come on boys. Won't you shake the poor sinner's hand?
Naveen shook reluctantly as Lawrence shook with a mischievous grin on his face. Once they did that, the curtains came down and an army of singing masks began to sing as Naveen and Lawrence were suddenly bound to their chairs!
Dr. Facilier: Yes! Are you ready?
Voodoo spirits: Are you ready?
Dr. Facilier: Are you ready? Transformation central!
Voodoo spirits: Transformation central!
Dr. Facilier: Reformation central
Voodoo spirits: Reformation central!
Dr. Facilier: Transmogofication central!
Dr. Facilier then pulled out a talisman and clipped Naveen's finger with it, getting blood into it and initiating a curse with it.
Can you feel it? You're changin', you're changin', you're changin', all right! I hope you're satisfied, but if you ain't, don't blame me! You can blame my friends on the other side!
The musical number ended as Dr. Facilier danced around with the voodoo spirits!
Voodoo spirits: You got what you wanted! But you lost what you had!
Dr. Facilier then dashed forward on his knees before blowing, and everything went dark.
Back at Tiana's new restaurant, Isaac emerged from the doors, me, Gamagoori and Buzz were in his pockets as he approached Tiana.
Isaac: Good news Tiana, it's all clear!
Tiana: Oh thank you! You're my hero Isaac! Now, I just need to make some changes around here, so I may turn this into my dream. It will have to wait. I have to eventually go to the masquerade ball tonight.
Isaac: Oui.

2024.05.21 17:01 MassAffinity Discovered My Golf Club Ad Was a Scam

In February I bought an advertisement with a company selling ad spots for a local golf club's score books. I paid them and sent them the artwork, and they sent me the invoice and all was well.
Today I decided to perform some due diligence and go out too the club to see if my ad was where they said it would be, and needless to say it was not, but it was worse than I expected.
I was able to speak to the business manager of the club and through our discussion he made it clear that while he had spoken to this company before, they did not yet have an agreement in place to actually produce the scorebook.
The business manager of the club told me that he was questioning the veracity of the company himself, as he had been getting calls asking if it was a scam, told that the ad company was misrepresenting to the potential advertisers the amount of traffic they would receive, and he was very alarmed to hear that they had already taken my money for the ad spot despite having no agreement in place.
This of course prompted me to check my invoice and review their terms and conditions - to which they of course have a no-refund policy beyond a 24 hour cancellation window, and require any legal action to be taken in their own state.
My question becomes this: If they refuse to refund me, do I have ANY legal ground to stand on to sue them for misrepresenting their relationship with the club? For my money back or anything? What are my options in this situation? It also sounds like others may have fallen into this situation as well based on what the club manager said. Any advice is appreciated!

Greetings everybody!
I know it has been a while, sorry, life hits, but here I introduce you to the new classes for the Oriental Adventures conversion for OSE: The Shaman and the Steppe Nomad.
The Shaman is simple enough, it's a cleric that commutes with animal spirits, although unlike a Druid, the Shaman commutes to the spirits presented in the Chinese lunar calendar to grant him powers of bonuses, while also praying to different gods and spirits for divine magic
The Steppe Nomad is a Mongolian fighter, plain and simple, they are experts archers with bonuses to mounted combat, monsters in fighting while on horse but limited by their nomadic upbringing and inability to have strongholds.
With these I cover all of the Human classes from China. The idea will be to structure the book in differents sets of classes and races depending on the three countries of China, Japan and Korea, with different options, monsters and tables for each. In the case of classes they will be structured in the following matter:
China: Soldier, Fangshi, Steppe Nomad, Winged Folk (Demi Human), Elemental (Demi Human)
Korea: Hwarang (or Hyangdo), Haenyo (Demi Human), Kumiho (Demi Human), Dokkaebi (Demi Human)
Japan: Ninja, Samurai, Onmyoji, Tengu (Demi Human), Oni (Demi Human), Tanuki (Demi Human)
After I am done with all classes, I will jump straight into monsters, where I'll add another category to indlude the monster's usual biosphere and their mythology of origin, wether chinese, korean, japanese or mongolian. That however, will be a behemoth on its own, so please bear with me on it.

My girlfriend (27 F) and I (28 M) have been together for 15 years. I get 2 reactions when I tell people this “aw that’s cute/awesome!” Usually from people over 40 or “how the hell did you do that?” Usually from people under 40. I understand where both types people are coming from and accept whatever personal judgements they have. Personally I feel like I hit the lottery in terms of relationships. She is my best friend, we have the same hobbies/interests, families get along, still have good/regular sex and share the same moral values. I will give a quick story for how we met/where we are today.
We met at middle school track practice. I was made to join track by my dad. I was never an involved student kinda the float by stoner type in school(so glad my dad made me join). Luckily my grandpa owned a garage and my uncle a small construction company that taught me some skills and kept me busy. I loved making money so I had that going at least. She was always very involved in clubs, sports and academics. She graduated with 4.0 GPA in both highschool and college (also won most attractive high school) To be honest I don’t remember many details worth sharing from highschool/middle school normal dumb arguments fun parties ect. I did start doing my own side jobs in high school with access to my families tools. By the time we graduated I had saved a decent amount, had a pretty good income and had my own tools/shitty work truck. Luckily it had always been her dream to go to college at a university 20 min from our small town she ended up getting a full ride with some money for housing. We moved in together she worked part time/seasonal at slower points in the school yeasummer. I began working full time while continuing my side gigs. With both our incomes and housing money we were able to have a lot of fun. We took a trip abroad each year, would go on a ski trip or road trip to different national parks each year (traditions we still have), went to concerts/college games, experimented with drugs and just did as much of the whole college thing as possible. Also during this time I began moving my side gigs into my full income. Without her help with organization/people/networking skills it would have been way harder or not possible at all. After she graduated college we decided we wanted to move some where she could work with more interesting wildlife/environment for a few years (she has bachelors in animal behavior and is a certified vet tech) we both knew she would be making next to nothing (we both understand she will never be our main source of income in her field) and I’d be risking my small business but wanted to get out of our town for a few years. Plus I didn’t want to hold her back or her wonder “what if”. After she landed a job we moved to a small mountain town in Colorado. I got a job doing maintenance at a resort/condos and started side jobs up again. After a few months I was offered a manager role. (thanks to those organization and people skills lol) We enjoyed life there skiing all season and saved all our change/ramen days to save money for vacations. (Eat for one dollar or around that each meal for a day or don’t eat at all put whatever money you would have spent in a jar it really sucks but you’ll be way closer to Puerto Rico this winter) After a few years we decided to come back to our home town as we wanted to own a home and have more financial freedom. (Very low cost of living) We found and bought an old fixer upper house for basically nothing. We renovated it and live there now. I was able to contact and continue working for quite a few of my old clients. After almost 2 years back my business is now doing better than ever and she’s still helping our furry/scaled/feathered friends. We are now seriously discussing starting a family/getting eloped. (Neither of us are big on marriage but as time goes on we want the same last name and title married) I’ve had friends tell me not to get married. I just laugh. Even if we had kids and she decided she wasn’t happy I would gladly give half my shit for the memories/times we’ve had not to mention I know my kids would have a great mother and I wouldn’t have the business without her.
I really feel like I hit the lottery in terms of relationships. This is the first time I have laid it all out and I feel even more lucky. How do you all feel about it? If anyone has any questions I’ll try to answer. Hope this made sense told you I wasn’t a great student!
