Nobody is defending him. He's built his career on collaborations and seemingly staying friendly with everyone, but now, not one person is stepping up for him. Not even his usual supporters or people from his own city. It seems like many of Drake's relationships are about mutual benefits, not friendship or at least strong business ties. Publicly, it is radio silence. Kendrick pointed out that Drake is seen as a trend-chaser, not a respected part of the culture, which has started a lot of conversations. Despite all Drake's success and all the career glow-ups his features have given artists, he seems to lack real respect in the industry. So, what does an artist need to do to gain respect if they are in Drake's shoes? At this stage of his career, is it even possible? More importantly, what does this back and forth mean for Hip-Hop? Hi everyone! My cousin, who’s 10 years younger than me, is graduating high school in a few weeks and going off to his top choice school in the fall. I wanted to crowdsource ideas for a present for him here because I’ve been feeling a little out of touch with what’s cool these days. He’s really into music, hip hop and rap in particular, and a few things I’ve gotten him in the past that I know he really liked are Tyler the Creator merch and a Kendrick Lamar vinyl (Mr Morale when it first came out) but with college coming up I was thinking of switching it up for something practical but still really cool for his dorm or something. Any suggestions appreciated! I can afford to spend no more than $60 with my budget right now.

So i bought the regular studio buds in blue for my father, and pink for my girlfriend (which she thinks is so cute) and i have to say, the sound on them are pretty decent compared to regular airpods, definitely better on clarity and bass in my opinion. You can hear every note, snare, beat, etc. Are they worth 150$? Absolutely not. But if you buy a pair from a trustworthy tech shop on ebay in good condition for 40-60$… it is most definitely worth it.
Now onto the beats studio buds plus. Oh my days, the noise cancelling is almost twice as better. The microphone has been drastically improved for better call quality and voice isolation from background noise. You could be in a loud warehouse, busy street, or around the house with the kids and nobody on the other line would ever know!!! Your voice sounds so clear if you record a voice note. Once you play music, the bass is still punchy but they improved the overall sound quality on these and fixed the treble. Transparency mode is okay, not the best unless you set your music at like 40-60%… anything above that makes it hard to be aware of your surroundings. Are they worth 170$? I want to say yes, but i’d rather buy them barely used in good condition for 50-70$ 😂cause why spend the extra money?? How do they stack up compared to airpod pros? They’re definitely up there, depending on your taste in music because airpod pros have a more refined sound to them. The beats are better for bassy genres like drill, hip hop, r&b, house music, techno, reggaeton, dominican music (for sure lmao). The airpod pros would probably be slightly better for pop and country. The airpod pros have better transparency mode and slightly better noise cancelling. The microphone/call quality on the airpod pros are garbage compared to beats, so well done to the Beats studio buds+ in that department!!

Me and 3 friends (all m, aged 27-32) will be in Den Haag from the 18th till the 23.06.2024. Two of us really like to party and to enjoy ourselves while dancing, we like soul, funk, electro, Jazz etc. and also good hip hop from time to time. The other 2 basically want to smoke weed and chill out haha. To get everybody what they want and spend all of our holiday together I'm searching for a club/event/bar with that is weed friendly (best case scenario but not a necessity), where everybody can enjoy themselves. Any suggestions and advice is much appreciated :).
I already checked what clubs there are in den Haag but as usual it seems like it's hard to find good stuff as a tourist- in my city it's no different.
