I’m just gonna get to it On the internet I go under the pseudo name @butimnotatrader
this past weekend I released a book on Amazon that within 24 hours got the #1 Release under the Business and Money Category
And
The “Top New Release” under the One hour short read business and money category
…and I can’t share this with anybody I know. My wife has known that I’ve been doing this “internet/investing” Thing since it started but no else in my family officially knows…I prefer it that way tbh
In 2022 my mom passed away, and close family members didn’t offer me any help at all to help pay for the funeral (I didn’t need the money, but it’s always nice to know you have support) I’m pretty sure my cousin found my YouTube and let my other immediate family members how much I was making trading, which led to no one’s help.
A week after my mom passed away my uncle also passed. And it seemed like 99% of our family was sending them money to help. Just infuriated my wife and I even more.
I guess I’m really just sharing this post because I needed to vent. I have no one to share in my personal life with but my wife and while that’s enough, sometimes I’d like to be able to share with other family members but I dont think that’ll ever happen anymore.
I just wanted to say, for those of you that might be in the same situation, and you can’t hear it from your family for whatever reason, I’m proud of how far you’ve come

2024.05.21 13:19 ICICLECOMETH How to Become a Pilot with Only Collateral as Financial Security Option

Dear Pilots,
Since my childhood, my aim has been to become a pilot. Unfortunately, when I completed my 10th standard, my father told me he could not support me financially and gave me career scares regarding the aviation industry. As a result, I had to make other choices. Now, at 25 years old and working in the IT industry, I feel that it's not for me and I want to chase my dreams.
For around two months, I have been rigorously researching how and where to become a pilot, whether it is better to do it in India or abroad, and other related information. However, the main issue troubling me is money. I have watched hundreds of hours of YouTube videos and spoken to many flying schools, all of which said the same thing: banks offer education loans to obtain a CPL (Commercial Pilot License) either in India or abroad.
Here is the catch: the banks are asking for a working co-applicant to sign and to start paying the EMI from the first month itself. My father passed away during COVID-19, and it is only me and my mom. However, I do have collateral that can cover the course value, but the banks are saying that since it is not a degree but a vocational course, only collateral is not acceptable without a co-applicant.
Is there any bank that offers a loan that can be paid after course completion, similar to a typical education loan? Or is there any other way to pursue my dreams? I would really appreciate any tips or straight answers on whether I can become a pilot, considering my situation.
Thank you.

🔗New Condition: 36 Count Coin Wrappers

For the past few weeks, I've been using these handy coin wrappers to keep my loose coins organized and tangle-free. The 36-count is just right, never running out and always having a fresh one nearby. One thing I noticed is the quality is inconsistent—sometimes they tear easily, but other times they're surprisingly strong.
Overall, the coin wrappers are a great addition to my daily routine, but I wish they were a bit sturdier.

🔗Efficient Coin Wrapping Kit with Crimper Tool

https://preview.redd.it/c8fheycl4q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=16f672bafa28eb18ba3f0f751b6cb5476cd3311a
As a lover of coins, I've been on the hunt for a reliable coin wrapper set to store my collection with ease and style. That's when I stumbled upon the Nadex 128 Assorted Preformed Crimped End Coin Roll Wrappers. This set is a game-changer!
The first thing that caught my eye was the variety of coins it covers. From pennies to quarters, this set has got me covered. And with 128 wrappers and a manual coin wrapper crimper, I can wrap my coins without ever having to run out of wrappers again.
The heavy-duty kraft paper wrappers are a great bonus too. They provide a durable and professional look to my precious coin collection. However, it can be a bit tricky to get the crimp just right, so I have to be patient and careful with each wrapper.
One minor drawback is that the crimp tool can be a bit finicky at times. I had to figure out the right technique to get the perfect crimp every time. But once I got the hang of it, it became a breeze.
In the end, I couldn't be happier with this coin wrapper set. It not only makes my coin collection look more organized and stylish but also gives me peace of mind knowing my coins are securely wrapped.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Nadex 128 Assorted Preformed Crimped End Coin Roll Wrappers with Coin Wrapper Crimping Tool to any coin enthusiast. It's a fantastic addition to any coin storage setup!

🔗Organize Loose Coins with High-Quality Coin Wrappers

https://preview.redd.it/bs3biptl4q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ab332529bb0af3daed5736f35fe5282f4afa807d
I recently tried out the Magnif Assorted Coin Tubes, Preformed Wrappers, and let me tell you, they sure make wrapping those loose coins a breeze. I was skeptical at first, but these handy little wrappers were a game-changer for me. Wrapping up quarters and dimes has never been so effortless.
One of the highlights was the assorted variety of tube wraps. They fit perfectly and made me feel like a pro when wrapping up my loose change. However, I also noticed that they didn't have the option to fit for different coin sizes, so I had to use a bit of creativity to make them work.
Overall, I'm glad I gave these coin wrappers a try. They've certainly made my life easier when it comes to managing my loose change.

🔗Coin Wrapper for Quarters: Kraft Paper, Crimped End, 40 Coins, $10 Value

https://preview.redd.it/b0ubvt2m4q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=61aaa9e8ec604ec14caa1d4903951092709314a5
Every coin collection deserves a proper storage solution, and the Preformed Tubular Coin Wrappers by MMF Industries have proven to be the perfect companion to my collection. The kraft paper finish not only adds a touch of elegance but also enhances the presentation of my coins.
The crimped end design makes filling the roll a breeze, and the ABA standard color conformity adds credibility to my collection. I was pleasantly surprised by the cost-effectiveness of these coin rolls, with each one holding 40 quarters and boasting a total value of $10.00.
However, I did notice that the product specifications stated a larger size and weight than what arrived, which was slightly disappointing. Nevertheless, the overall experience has been incredibly satisfying, and I highly recommend these coin wrappers for any collector out there.

🔗Safe and Secure Coin Wrapper Rolls (256 Assorted) - Perfect for Sorting and Storage

https://preview.redd.it/6fartdfm4q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=166d5d452d5049bfca8c031b611cb715c82bb601
As a busy mom, I found these L Liked coin wrappers to be a lifesaver. With 256 color-coded rolls for quarters, pennies, nickels, and dimes, these wraps made it easy for me to keep my coin collection organized.
I appreciated the heavyweight Kraft paper that adds an extra layer of security. However, using these wrappers with an automatic machine did take a little more effort than when manually filling them.
Despite the slight inconvenience, the preformed wrappers were well worth it for the ease of hand wrapping and the added safety they provided. Overall, a solid and reliable product for any coin collector.

Buyer's Guide

A coin wrapper is a protective cover designed to store and preserve coins in a secure and organized manner. For coin collectors and enthusiasts, coin wrappers provide an essential tool for displaying and protecting their valuable collections. Choosing the right coin wrapper can make all the difference in maintaining the quality and appearance of your coins over time. In this buyer's guide, we'll discuss the important features to consider when selecting a coin wrapper and provide some general advice to help you make the best purchase.

Important Features

Material

Coin wrappers are typically made of either paper or plastic material. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. Paper-based coin wrappers are more eco-friendly, but they tend to be more prone to tearing or moisture damage. Plastic coin wrappers, on the other hand, offer better durability and moisture resistance, but they may be less environmentally friendly.

Size

Different coin wrappers cater to specific coin sizes, so it's essential to choose one that can accommodate the coins in your collection. Most wrappers are designed for specific coin series, such as US coins, European coins, or world coins. Make sure to check the packaging or product description to ensure you're buying the right size for your coins.

Design and Style

Coin wrappers come in various designs and styles, each with its unique aesthetic appeal. Some wrappers have specific themes or artworks, while others feature simple, clean designs. Consider which design aligns best with your collection and overall aesthetic preferences when selecting a coin wrapper.

Considerations

Quality and Durability

As you'll be relying on your coin wrapper to protect your valuable collection, it's crucial to choose one of high quality and durability. Look for coin wrappers made from high-quality materials and constructed with attention to detail.

Ease of Use

Your coin wrapper should be easy to use and handle, especially if you plan to swap out coins frequently. Look for wrappers with clear, easy-to-use packaging and a secure closure to ensure your coins remain safe and protected.

Storage Options

Depending on the size of your collection, you may want to consider coin wrappers that offer additional storage options, such as coin albums, binders, or storage boxes. These options can help you keep your collection organized and easily accessible.

General Advice

When purchasing coin wrappers, it's essential to consider the specific needs of your collection, such as coin size, material preference, and design. Additionally, always read product reviews and check the manufacturer's reputation to ensure you're buying a product of high quality and customer satisfaction.
Coin wrappers are a valuable investment for any coin collector or enthusiast, as they provide a protective and organized storage solution for your precious coins. By carefully considering the important features, making thoughtful choices, and following general advice, you can find the perfect coin wrapper for your collection.

Not everything said here has to be positive - I'm often quite critical myself - but it must be constructive.

2024.05.21 03:59 RemarkableSort613 My parents yell and hit me for every little thing I do wrong (even if it's my siblings and I'm innocent) and this sucks.

Hello, I'm 14 years old and struggling with my relationship with my parents. All my life my parents have been critical of me and my sibling. As a child, she would get mad at us even if I was innocent. She will tell me I never listen and how to do it her way. It was always, a bad situation. She will go off on rants about how everybody (but herself) cannot do anything right. It's never her fault, it's always somebody else's fault.
Whenever I had to do math homework with her she would always yell at me for misplacing a number. I struggle with math, and I do admit I am not as fast as she is at math, but she would get very mad and even impatient if I did it slowly and got it wrong. She would get mad, snatch the pencil from my hand, erase away the answer furiously, and yell at me about how to solve the problem. I would just start crying (I was in elementary then and even to this day I would still cry.) and once she started to see me cry she would get even angrier and hit me with any weapon or call dad.
If me and my siblings cleaned our room wrong, she would yell at us for that. She would constantly tell us how messy and how it would affect us when we were older. Whenever we got in trouble, she would either spank us, ground us or just yell at us and tell us how bad we were.
I was never allowed to watch my computer, play games, or even watch YouTube and I was limited to only watching 1 TV channel which is the Canadian Educational Television, a Crown Corporation which is owned by the Government of Canada. Those shows are too educational and boring and also, Paw Patrol is their most viewed show and I don't like it. I was even forced to go to church on Sundays (even though I'm not a Christian), wasn't allowed to listen to anything that wasn't classical music, couldn't play the drums, join Nativity Plays near Christmas, have a birthday party with a Japanese family with The Girls in a sushi restaurant, and get a drawing of me x mortal enemy trying to confess in manga style. I even had to throw away my Hot Wheels collection and give it away to an adoption center, I could not buy a tornado siren, and get a Nativity set for Christmas instead of something better and I rarely had a birthday party with the boys and got celebrity birthday wishes. Even no toleration for the kids cheering sound.
I've tried telling her how I felt, but that backfired quickly. My mom has this wonderful talent of taking your words and flipping it back on you and making me out to be the victim and I'm in the wrong. I tried telling her that the words she said to me hurt my feelings. She instantly replied in an angry manner yelling at me that I've said mean things to her and it hurts her. I immediately apologized for anything, and everything, that I said to her and I didn't mean to say or do those things. She kept reminding me that I'd said hurtful things to her. It was basically, "I've said mean things to you, but you've also said mean things so we're even." kind of thing. She gets super defensive whenever you call her out on her wrongdoing or accuse favorites.
The constant, "I'll tell mom/dad." voice has forced me to never say anything for fear that people will yell at me and I'll cry. I never try anything new or challenging because of fear of failure and people yelling at me about how much I'm a failure I am. I never do anything. Cause If I don't do/say anything, I won't get yelled at or hurt by others. Because of this, my social skills have been lacking severely.
She also predicts who I shall be. I even have to study more so I can later spend 3 years at the University of Cambridge and another 3 years at the University of Toronto. Afterward, I have to become an "everything" doctor at The Royal London Hospital and get married to a member of the Royal Family but that's not what I want. I wanted to work at West Shore Services instead because I have a passion with Tornado Sirens. Being a royal family member is hard and it's even mandatory for each member to speak French.
My self-esteem is dropping. I cry so much because there's nothing I can do and I feel like I'm going to grow up alone and worthless. I have no desire to do anything. I get extremely sad whenever I make mistakes or fail. I have no support and I don't know what love is. My family has never really shown support or praised me for anything.
I have no idea what to do. I only can cry. I just wish I felt loved.
Plot twist: But I realized that soon after, my youngest sibling possessed my parent's mindset, and now that they're cured, please help me with this. I don't want it to happen AGAIN!!! I NEED HELP before it happens again.

2024.05.21 03:54 throwaway7262692937 Where do I go from here?

I’m posting anonymously for safety and privacy reasons.
Hello. I’m a proud mom of 3 children. I’ve been with my partner, their father, for almost 10 years. Our relationship is very toxic, and somewhat abusive. I need any resources, hope, or just advice.. please.
Please no judgment. I don’t know if I can take anymore than I already have. I’ll give a bit of a back story.
I got with my partner at a young age, 16. All the red flags were there but I was too blind and naive to see them. I also grew up in a very toxic, hostile environment with no father figure so I was just craving that love and attention. Not blaming my past for my choices, those were my own.
The abuse did not start until I had my first child. Before I even had her, we were arguing 24/7. Him yelling, name calling, just hours of endless screaming and arguments. When I had my first child is when the grabbing started. Him grabbing me when he was mad, when we would argue. It wasn’t just grabbing to “calm me down” as he loved to say. It was grabbing that would leave bruises for days. I told him I was going to go to the police and report him because I knew from right and wrong, well I thought I did. The grabbing stopped. But honestly, probably only stopped because the family member we were living with kicked him out because they saw right through him. I ended up getting pregnant with my second child shortly after, wasn’t planned. We got our first apartment together after my second child was born. That’s where the physical abuse started. Looking back, he was always abusive, but now he knew we were alone and he could get away with it. I ended up getting a protection order against him. But once again, I was stupid, and naive, and went back. He promised he changed. (we all know that doesn’t happen) and for a while it did seem like he changed. He wasn’t physical with me. Didn’t yell. But it never lasted. Never does. But we “worked” through things I guess you could say. We ended up getting our second place together and we’ve been here since. He has not punched, slapped, or kicked me. But during arguments he has grabbed me again, or grabbed me by my hair. But he had me so mind fucked that it was normal and I was in the wrong. He is the true definition of a narcissist. I got pregnant with my third and last child who’s 11 months old. It was not planned, I did not want anymore kids to this man. But I got pregnant off of birth control. Got my tubes tied as soon as I had my last child.
I want to leave. I do not know how to, or how I would be able to do it alone. I have no family help, or any family at all. My grandma who was my main support person passed away a few years ago. I’m so sick of it. The yelling. Walking on egg shells. The mood shifting the second he’s in the room. Being afraid to speak up about anything. The angry outbursts. The name calling. I feel like I’ve lost myself. I miss my old self. My old friends. I miss my REAL smile.
He started a new job last week, which I helped him get. Tonight I got him McDonald’s before work because we didn’t have groceries, and I wanted him to have a meal before work. Obviously the kids need to eat too. He came down in his usual bad mood. I nicely asked him to please say goodbye to our daughter before he goes to work (he works 3rd) because then she asks me all night where her dad is if he doesn’t say goodbye. Somehow, someway, this pissed him off? Starting raising his voice. I walked away because I couldn’t deal with it anymore. Followed me into the living room while I’m trying to change our son, yells at me how I’m the problem, I always give him an attitude (I don’t) and how his tone with me isn’t an issue. Him hitting the wall because he was pissed off isn’t an issue. I don’t understand what I did. I told him I’m just going to keep quiet like usual, because I don’t want to be yelled at so I just keep to myself. That set him off. And he left for work.
I blocked him on everything. I just want to leave. I don’t know how I’ll do it. How I can work. My second child goes to preschool from 8-2, but is often sent home cause they have an underlying stomach issue which we are waiting to hear back from a specialist about. My youngest is starting physical therapy. My oldest doesn’t start kindergarten until the next school year. I don’t know how I’m going to do it. Especially, alone. He helps me with the children. But as a partner, he fails in all aspects. I want to be on my own. I want my kids and I to be happy. But realistically with no help, how can I manage?
Thank you for listening. It feels good to get it out.

2024.05.21 03:23 Fun-Ad-6990 Am I the only one who notices that the reason gen alpha is screwed is because like most of them seem to have been conceived for the instagram accessory aesthetic only by extremely young parents with no consideration towards the future citizens they just birthed

I was looking at why gen alpha seems to be even worse than kids in general. At first I was concerned about the fact that they barely even have the attention span for tv shows like Big City Greens and Bluey instead being dumped in front of horrifying content farms and even addictive stuff like c—melon.
Then it went a little deeper when I saw videos of teachers talking about how their regular kids(like kids without disabilities) are struggling below grade level and this is like 6th grade students having almost no attention spans and having reading levels and learning levels far below like 3rd grade levels, and not knowing certain basics There was even a video that mentioned how even sped kids despite their disadvantage had higher reading levels than normal kids. And the normal kids seemed not to even be trying to better themselves.
Then I learned about the Sephora girls and how they are straight up menaces to other people and demand skincare that isn’t designed for their age group and can damage them(instead of getting age appropriate skincare). I learned about the horrible Sephora moms enabling this with instagrams
Then I learned about young boys(like 6-9 year olds) accessing extremely sexist streamers and a pretty notorious rapist and trafficker named “quagmire” Tate who was just arrested for sex trafficking influencing young minds to regress regarding equality and no means no etc. I then saw more teachers saying how toxic kids are becoming and they seem to have no real life goals other than being influencers. And then quitting because of such flagrant behavior.
I was confused by all of this like it seemed like the parents weren’t even trying to teach the kids basics like how letters are pronounced, how to tie shoes, not to steal the cookie, etc. this continued to be hard to understand like it didn’t make sense. Like these problems used to be a very small minority like not everyone is like this but now it seemed that not “everyones kids are bad” while still a fair amount seemed even smaller compared to to it seems like the kids who were never taught seemed to increase.
Then when I saw one video which talked about the Sephora kids she brought up a TikTok talking about why gen alpha ended up so bad and the video brought up the accessory baby trend of the 2010s that really blew up around that time. I then watched the TikTok and that’s when it clicked. The kids who were born then are the same that are gen alpha. I remembered that on YouTube and other sites was filled with teens who were excited about having a baby and belly progressions etc.
it made total sense why gen alpha is horribly underprepared because many of these kids were(and are) the accessory babies born in the 2010s that were born to a large minority of(a lot of) teenagers who wanted to showcase their cute baby as if they were a furby accessory trying to copy the celebrity (spesficially the kardashians and Kyle Jenner) accessory baby trend which resulted in the aesthetic of parenting and having a cute baby without any of the actual work needed to raise a baby to a functioning human being with good literacy skills, a reasonable education and basically becoming a functioning person.
Oh and teen mom the tv show(which despite showing some of the darker sides and contributing to a decline in teen pregnancy’s some dumb kids still took inspiration) . It’s made even worse because now TikTok and instagram reels glorifying pregnancy at young(like teenage) ages for aesthetics even if said person was not ready or willing to handle responsibly raising a future adult and showing none of the true consequences and sorrow that comes with ruining your and a future humans life, instead being filled with instagram photos of cute mommy and baby in matching outfits on highly staged photos with no hint on how difficult it is to raise a human being.
Anyway The baby was never supposed to grow up as a person and become a functioning human being but to be a silent being with no thoughts of it’s own to dress up and show off to instagram and Pinterest. Essentially a doll. However when that baby started to grow up into their own person and becoming a human being because as it turns out baby’s grow up to be a functioning adult. The parents has no desire to be a parent and does not know how to raise a functioning human so they dumped them in front of iPads in order to get them out of the way and basically negelect them. The consequence is that now we have an entire generation of kids who have not been taught basic lessons and how to be a functioning person.
It even affects the kids who weren’t accessory babies and are being raised by people who actually want to see their child succeed in life , because the peer pressure to act more mature than before has ramped up significantly as the moms of the accessory babies shunned kid appropriate outfits and acting their age and stuff because they wanted the babies to be dressed up in adult fashions for instagram photo ops and have engrained that acting like a kid is stupid and that they go from accessory Baby to hot young adult with no inbetween in their minds which warps them to act like an “adult” when way too young. It’s essentially the traditional 10 year old wants to act older but warped far beyond what it used to be and if a kid simply acts like their age group they are often picked on by accessory baby bullies which means that a lot of kids are now under peer pressure to grow up way too fast because the accessory kids that dominate the school and act like monsters towards everyone else.
It’s because they were never taught how to be a good Person. And it’s because of the parents who wanted accessory babies for instagram rather than raising a human. Like it’s the 30 year mellenials who take their kids only to instagramamble play areas, dressing them up for photo shoots every week in new clothes, going on instagramamble vacations and even having another baby only for clicks.
This is the reality of the situation we are seeing the consequences of this in real time. The kids were never taught how to be a person and because of that they have almost no manners and learned all their lessons from toxic influencers and or consumerist influencers. It’s because the parents neglect them instead of providing moral lessons on how to be a good person, teaching them right from wrong, or even providing them good tv shows like BCG, and bluey instead dumping them in front of iPad content farms that rot their attention spans without any moderation causing them to have no imagination and tech addictions and then for the boys watching toxic influencers like Andrew quagmire tate and his merry band of Herbert the perverts(it’s a family guy reference). And for the girls being brainwashed into acting like adults and buying skincare that burns their skin instead of age appropate skin care.
This is scary because they are our next doctors, artists, writers, musicians, librarians, mechanic, firefighters, plumbers, etc. and they end up with social media addicitions and have shockingly short attention spans thanks to overstimulating YouTube shorts and they were never taught how to be a successful person who thrives in society all because they were treated as disposable photo props to get more IG likes.
To be clear not every parent is like this and there are many parents trying to raise their kids good and teaching them to be a good person but it is concearning how the accessory babies are now being turned into monsters at shockingly young ages. I really hope people wake up and realize that this is a problem and how we need to educate kids and prevent toxic Tate influences on boys And toxic trends on girls. We need to let kids learn positive values and teach the, about diversity and how to be a good person and helping other people and doing good things and working hard to achieve whatever goals they want.
We need to fix this and help prepare kids to be a functioning good adults so that they can succeed. It’s a whole mess that we need to do better with our next generation of people because we need to stop treating kids like they are just instagram photos and they aren’t babies with on and off switches but babies that grow to toddler then kid tween teen until they become an adult who should be able to do basic functions in society.
I am legit concerned about the next generation and them being addicted to content farms rather than quality shows with educational and entertainment value and not being taught basic morals like don’t steal the cookie, everyone is equal, clean up after yourself, don’t rudely interrupt other people. or even helping them get to grade level reading and stuff(and I’m not counting kids with disabilities, like autistic and adhd kids) to function in society. like I literally heard that sped kids with disabilities and autism etc are literally doing higher reading levels than regular kids because a lot of the regular kids were never taught. It’s legit concerning.
*it should also be mentioned that this seems to mostly happen with really really young parents 9/10 times as most kids who were conceived by parents at older ages(30 something when they had kids) don’t seem to have this problem(or very rarely)

2024.05.21 02:56 Traditional-Cry4733 Hi! Question!

Hi! Question!
hi! I am almost 25. I weigh about 100 pounds, I got my tubes removed in Dec 2022 (110% do not want anymore children and BC scares me after taking it for 10+ years) I am active, work, I’m a mom. I do use THC. Just a few things about me before I start. I’ve always struggled with depression/mental health (had really bad PPD). I’ve been treated for bipolar disorder, ADHD, had brief discussions about CPTSD & IED. Never really dived into that much. Nothing ever seems to stick or help for very long. Anti depressants, mood stabilizers, stimulants, nonstimulates, therapy multiple times a week for years. I do not know much about my family tree / genes.
I do not like how the medication makes me feel or the side effects that come with them. Example: no sex drive / zombie mode. I don’t think it’s the route for me anymore after trying 10+ different meditations. My OG gyno does not want to help me anymore than more birthcontrol pills or more antidepressants “because of my age”.( keep in mind she removed my tubes no issues..) So I switched to a new gyno. She did not want to hear me out but I finally talked her into a hormone panel. My T levels are pretty low but the doctor is telling me it’s all fine. It does not feel fine.
I know we all know how the PMDD affects our day to day life’s. I feel like I’m in a loop of autopilot. So I’m not gonna type much about that. Sometimes it’s made me a bad partner, friend, etc. I hate it. I feel like my uterus was the issue the whole time and not my brain. I have been struggling since I can remember.. and it’s getting worse.
I just wanted advice or guidance. Help? The next steps ? A different doctor ? I am going to attach my test results & period cycles for input. Left are my results, right is average for adult woman. I still have one last blood draw to do tomorrow 5/21 so I’m not completely done, but the gyno is already trying to shut me down. (I am not saying my doctor is stupid, I am just saying I’m feeling very brushed off and unheard.)
Thank you for reading!

2024.05.21 01:23 J_jpg I was given my great grandma’s old oil paints…

I was given my great grandma’s old oil paints…
so my grandma found these in her house and gave them to me and my mom since we both do some art. i want to try to use these paints since some of the tubes still feel squishy, but i’m worried about the paints being toxic. none of the tubes specifically said they have lead in them, but i have no idea how old these paints are so they might. my mom suspects that they’re from the 70s or earlier. there was a turquoise eagle prismacolor pencil which makes me think maybe it’s from the late 60s. if anyone knows about old oil paints, please let me know if these look safe to use, or if they have lead or other toxic ingredients. thanks!

2024.05.21 00:32 beardpudding Is Reddit listening to me and using that info to serve relevant content (not ads)?

For a while now, I’ve been experiencing this where I talk about something with someone in person, and then later I see a post on Reddit about that exact thing, or something similar. I understand about ads, and basically get how that works, but these aren’t ads. They are seemingly organic content, but it matches something so obscure, that it’s got me wondering what even is going on.
It got to the point where I started “documenting” it in a note. This is not an exhaustive list, but should give an idea of what I am talking about.

2024.05.21 00:28 sadbitchproblemz oversharing abt my dad because the lore is insane

In 2016 my father up and left my family and I to move to a different country with his new wife when I was 13. He was the sole breadwinner. My parents had seven children including me, and my dad made enough money to support us all without my mom needing to work. My mom also has no education and doesn’t speak English (we live in an English-speaking country), so him leaving fucked us in the anus. We instantly lost our house and car. My siblings and I got kicked out of our private school for not paying the fees and we started living in motels, hotels, and with random friends of my mother's. This lasted a year.
In 2018, my mom finally got a good enough job, and so did my older brother, and we lived off that while staying in a one-bedroom motel as eight people. This lasted 2 years until we finally rented a 2 bedroom house in 2020. My two sisters had developed eating disorders, likely because we barely ate most days, and it became a habit for them. Also, my little brother was charged with murder at 16. He’s still in a youth justice center to this day, waiting for sentencing (for four years like cmon now.)
In 2021, my dad and his side of the family heard about what my brother did. He called my mom and said she embarrassed him by raising a murderer and that she’s a horrible mother, claiming everyone in the town was talking badly about him. All of 2021, he randomly called just to cuss my mom out, and she let it happen because he would occasionally send $200 for us to use by making my youngest brother beg for it. He only sent money when my youngest brother asked.
In 2022, FOR SOME REASON, my dad came back into our lives and started paying our rent, school fees, and my brother’s legal fees, and my mom was so grateful she remarried him. Yeah… We were all pissed. It felt like she was brainwashed, the Stockholm syndrome was hitting.
He lived with us and acted like a normal dad for TWO MONTHS until he cheated on our mom and left overseas again… AGAIN. He said he wanted to hire a hitman to kill my mom when he left. Scary. I forgot to mention an important fact: a few weeks before he left again, he bought me a camera, which I started using to make YouTube videos.
Late 2022 and early 2023, my YouTube channel started growing at the beginning and by mid-2023, it began blowing up, and by the end of 2023, I was making enough money to take care of all the fees and bills.
My sister is really spiritual and insane, so maybe it was her doing some hexes or something, but the same time I started making money, my dad got into gambling and lost most of his fortune. Then his father died and didn’t leave my dad anything in the will, and my dad went insane. He tried burning down my grandpa’s house.
In March 2024, I bought us a house after years of renting a two-bedroom apartment for eight people (seven if you don’t count my brother in jail… heh). Now, my dad’s side of the family is begging for money after finding my YouTube channel. Like where did your wealth go? They were RICH… gambling fucks.
A week ago, I got a call from my dad saying he needs money for his twin daughters that he had with the woman he cheated on my mom with and that they’re starving. I just hung up.
RAHHHHHH WE WIN IN THE END🦅🦅🦅😂

2024.05.20 23:47 LadyAzymith Any advice please

I own a 2017 Honda Civic with 27k miles, very good condition that I plan on trading in for a bigger vehicle under financing. My dilemma is that I have no clue on what to do since this is my first time financing a vehicle. The civic I paid all in cash. Now that I have 3 kids under 4, I needed a vehicle that can fit all 3 car seats and as much as I'm not a fan of mini vans, I think that would be our best choice for upgrade. I've been contacting several dealerships within my area and visited one in person and test drove a vehicle. With how busy I am with the kids and being their full time caregiver, I can't visit all these dealerships. I've asked for OTD pricing and pretty much all of them have the dreaded dealer add-ons. I have been doing some online researching and watching some YouTube videos on tips when buying car. What to say, and what not to say, etc. But my brain is fried, I think my postpartum anxiety is making it worse. Anyhow, we're also a one income family. I manage our finances and will be using my credit score (I'm currently a stay at home mom and my husband works and he has no credit). Any tips or advice please? If not for the kids, we won't be upgrading but situation changed and we gotta have to now. Oh and I forgot, I prefer the honda odyssey ex-l trim since it's on the cheaper side. Leather is also preferred due to the kids. We are based in Texas.
Thank you in advance.
