I’ve been in this relationship for six years now. it was going great right before we had our child and we’ve hit a rough patch, which is a story in itself. That has been rough very rough for me. It’s gotten to a point where there’s isn’t any available daycare for our son so I can actually work. I had a job that I got at a daycare, but it ended up falling through because of sit situations out of my hand. And that was the only option that I opened myself up to being. I never wanted to be a daycare teacher. So we haven’t had any daycare I’ve called around I’m on waiting lists. Some places aren’t even bothering to answer the phone or reply back to me. my partner works a seasonal job that’s whether depending. And he hasn’t been making all that much a year with this job. Initially he wanted me to stay home and take care of our son which I did for the first year but he didn’t cover all of my bills. He just paid for my car bills. Everything else I took care of with the exception of rent which is extremely low. We were only paying 800 for rent at that time and for this last year we’ve been paying 1000. And the electricity which isn’t that much either we have to pay for this year but prior we didn’t have the $800 rent. this is the first time he’s ever lived on his own and it’s also a surprise child we did not plan for. I get he’s having some sort of issues. But I feel like I should be the one working and I’ve mentioned this to him multiple times and it doesn’t seem to be something he’s on board with even though I would bring in more money. The job I had give me 41,000 a year minimum and I always had overtime which that does not include. Currently the last two years that he’s been working for this company he’s only brought in $25,000 on the books and maybe an additional 5000 from other side jobs and another guy he works with off the books. For the last year I’ve been covering all my bills and since losing my job in February I went through my savings, my very small tax return and now I don’t have anything. I was forced to use my credit cards in order to pay some of my bills and yes I’m sure you all cringed hearing that I’ve ruined my credit paying my bills and I’m trying to work on consolidating them. It’s manageable for me to get out of this I am working. I’ve mentioned to him, and he seems reluctant. And I’ve also mentioned that that I could screw him over and make it so he couldn’t leave for work. Since my job requires me to be at work by 3 o’clock in the morning to start baking I would be leaving three hours prior to him even getting up to get ready for work. He doesn’t seem to care that I am financially dependent on him right now, because our son doesn’t have daycare available and no one to watch him. Would I be an asshole to do this to him? I could be making more money paying the bills and not be struggling. I don’t see the problem in that. he has a drinking issue he’s definitely an alcoholic and he wouldn’t be able to do that while taking care of our son. Would it be a rude thing to do to your partner when they are financially screwing you over while you’re taking care of the child? Maybe I’m out of line some outside perspective might be nice. We’ve had a rough time the last two years together. He’s been absent for most of the time, and when he is here, he’s glued to his phone and still drunk or drinking. Would leaving for work and just leaving him screwed with his job make me an asshole? he is screwing me over financially?

How do your tenants pay you and when is it counted as on time or late?
I became the landlord/property manager for a few houses my mom owned. For 11 years, the tenants have paid at the local bank into my mom's account before and after she passed. June 1st, the bank will no longer allow deposits into an account unless the person making the deposit is joint owner of the account. I'm not making an account with the tenants. Other banks want me to print out deposit slips for the tenants with my name, their name, the memo line filled in and all my routing and account number info. This info would allow some sketchy people to hijack my credit. I get that info is on checks I write, but I usually only write checks to pay property taxes so i trust the township not to hack my info.
I have sent a text to all tenants informing them of this change by the bank and that money orders, personal checks, or cashier's checks or hand delivered cash would be necessary and I'd finalize it via first class mail within the next week. All tenants I get along with well enough to have them drop off a payment at my house but I'm 20-25 miles from the houses. I will not be accepting Pay Pal or any other e payment service that takes a fee. I have had complaints from those sending a payment that it cost them more and I am not taking less than the amount due. I am liquidating the estate over the next 2 years so this is a relatively short-term thing vs for the next 30 years.
How do your tenants pay you, or how do you pay your landlord as a tenant? If they mail you a check, how do you determine if it's on time or late? I have a lot of issues with my mail delivery. I have Informed Delivery with USPS and I'll have businesses tell me they are mailing me something and it never shows up on Informed Delivery or in person.

Ordered food and the restaurant stated that they did not receive the order and I have to call customer service for a refund.
Customer service has a message that this is within their hours of operation but they are temporarily closed.
Disputing it with my credit card company and never going back to this place. It’s has nothing to do with the glitch because I know 💩 happens but it has to do with them not having any customer service reps. Based on my search in this forum not getting a rep is common.

Arsenal, I guess as part of ongoing clamp down on accounts, are requiring unique card associated with accounts so cant be using same card across multiple accounts for renewals.
I renew for two people every year as we sit together and as is an option when you log in. I could not save my current credit card as says was used on another account (maybe cos I used to renew both last year) but did allow me to pay.
Anyhow, renewed both again but at end screen says for both that ticket is "unsubscribed" and I need to contact box office (also said unsubscribed in history).
Will try to get through to box office tomorrow, but anyone else get a similar message?

I know you guys hate people flexing, but I am writing this hoping to be helpful. I didn't just get lucky, I planned for everything I did over a month in advance, and I succeeded in picking up 3 boxes of 7.5mg. If you are as impatient and crazy as me, and you are fine maxing out your credit card like me, keep reading.
In the April 9th weekly availability post, someone said he travelled to puerto rico and found zepbound in stock everywhere, likely because it was too expensive for local residents. I commented and said I'd rather spent a few hundreds on a PR flight than calling 100 pharmacies in vain. Others found my comment hilarious. I was serious.
I called many PR pharmacies and they didn't answer calls, for the only one that did answer the call, nobody spoke English. I decided I need to show up in person. I told my doctor about my plan, she said it was creative but she couldn't send Rx out of NJ. I went back and confirmed PR walgreen can transfer from NJ walgreens. I agreed with my doctor that I will travel on weekdays, so that I can contact her during the travel.
I then bought a huge insulin travel case with ice packs, took days off from work, got my flight, and headed over on a Monday. I landed in San Juan and the first thing I did was to travel to the nearest Walgreen. They didn't have 7.5, but the staff wrote down five locations, four with 1-month supply and one with 3-month supply. I decided to take the 3-month supply since I already went this far. My insurance doesn't cover Zepbound, and the savings card only works on one-month, so yeah I decided to pay 3000+ out of pocket.
A million things went wrong in between: my cellular data somehow didn't work, my phone died, the NJ walgreen didn't receive the prescription, then they tried to give me one-month instead of three-month, the doctor was out of office, the pharmacy insisted on contacting the insurance even after I said I'll pay OOO, the bank suspected fraud and locked my card when I tried to spend thousands in PR, etc etc. but in the end, after many hours and millions of phone calls, I got my 3-month supply. They are now happily sitting in the fridge in my hotel.
For context, I was on 5mg for 5 months and my weight had been plateauing for a month. Thanks to Medfinder I never had to stop shots, but I also wasn't able to move up. I was also prepared for the worst: if I couldn't get it in PR, I'll seriously consider compounds.
Again, I definitely went a bit far, I spent a lot of money and a lot of time. Now that the shortage seems to relieve a little bit, I wonder if I'll eventually regret paying the full price OOO, when I could have gotten 1-month supply and used the savings card. Anyway, as an impatient person I just hate the uncertainty of a shortage. Fortunately now I am secured for three months, and I still have two days to enjoy my little vacation in Puerto Rico. If you are as crazy as me, try travel to PR. There are at least four walgreens that still have 7.5 mg supplies!

I'm looking to get a credit card for my child headed off to college. I could add him to my existing account and just get an additional card/user, but think he'd be better off building credit in his own name.
Any recommendations on which card to get? Discover and Capital One have come up a bunch in my preliminary searches...

I'm in a failing marriage. It's past the point of being salvaged. I'm getting more and more convinced that she's a full blown narcissist. She convinced me that I'm really messed up in the head, and that I'm basically worthless. Tells her friends and family horrible things about me that aren't true, and because she's beautiful, and so calmly manipulative, everyone is believing the narrative that she has created. I'm beyond confused and terrified for our children, I don't get nearly enough time with them, and when I do, she's always right there, or walking through and upsetting them every time I get them calmed back down and vibing again.
I've gone to months of therapy, and even wen inpatient in the psych ward, primarily because she had me believing that I'm severely mentally ill. After months have gone by, I've met all the demands, and she has realized that I'm not going to give up and am becoming a better man every day. I'm the only one who works, and work multiple jobs to keep our bills paid. We've maxed out every credit card of mine, while hers keep getting paid off.
I love my children more than anything in this world, and after hearing several therapists, doctors, and even the director of mental health who sat in several sessions to observe me, say "we don't think anything is wrong with you. Your feelings are valid. You've done copious anounts of work". I have even gotten us marriage counseling and she keeps delaying it and as of a few days ago, she cancelled our appointment whcih took months to get. She has learned every insecurity of mine, and just comes in hot on them every time we're around one another, then flips it around and plays victim. I don't knwo what to do. If ewe didn't have kids, I'd just leave, but I don't want her to be thge only parebnt in their lives.
She constantly threatens to take the kids from me, and as of last night, I caught wind of her treating both of them horrendously i need help. When I tried yesterday she called the police on me saying that i'm scaring the children. The effin love me. Theywant to be around me when I'm over there and and get so excited to see me when I'm done with work. Ijust don't know. Any ideas would be greatly apprecidated.

I'm not trying to make excuses for him, as I really do think that The Winds of Winter is long overdue, and clearly his priorities are not the same as his readers. He spends lots of time attending events, working on side projects like Wildcards, A Song of Ice and Fire spinoff series (including Fire & Blood and the similarly delayed Dunk & Egg), film and TV production (including writing and producing credits on various GoT episodes).
But people keep calling him lazy, a hack, or incapable. It's just not painting the full picture. I really do think he's more of a person who can't keep his priorities in order and is struggling with making progress on a really complex series that he's trying to get right. We all saw how badly the show messed up the ending, and he's already publicly said that he's thrown out so much material because it wasnt exactly what he'd hoped. Plus the previous two books have gotten so expensive that it's really hard to bring everything together. Just look at what the show had to cut - Young Griff, Lady Stoneheart. Additionally he's already had to work his way through retcons (Tyrion's acrobatics) and shifts in structure (no time skip).
It's also worth noting that the first 5 books of a Song of Ice and Fire is already one of the longest series ever. It is 1.75 million words! That's 3 times as long as Lord of the Rings, and nearly double the 7 Harry Potter books. It's really hard to criticize someone so harshly who is struggling to complete one of the most complex and ambitious fantasy stories ever written (source: https://www.reddit.com/asoiaf/comments/5of6eh/no_spoilers_i_counted_the_words_of_each_asoiaf/).
The Winds of Winter is clearly on the way, since hundreds of pages have been cut from A Dance with Dragons and have been given to the public as previews. I doubt we'll ever get ADOS, but I'm sure TWOW is inevitable at some point (even posthumously, knock on wood).
I just think readers have to understand that the man is struggling and give him some grace. He's not failing to deliver the last two books out of laziness or spite. He's truly having a difficult time. Very few authors alive are capable of creating a story of this quality on this scale. And while the time between books is getting longer and longer, the story has gotten more and more complex. It's possible that we'll never get the full, complete ending. Maybe just TWOW in print plus the TV show ending. And honestly, I'm okay with that and still appreciate that he created this world for us. I've had an incredible time reading and watching the series, even with the main books remaining incomplete.

Over the past few days, I experienced three bans that resulted in a permanent ban yesterday. Three of my friends are experiencing the same thing after our mutual friend's account got hacked. So far I am the only one with a permanent ban - their bans have been overturned (for now).
I went to a store today to get a new SIM card so I could get a new number for my WhatsApp account. The tech support guy at the store said he has seen hundreds of people this year with the same type of issue I had - random bans for no reason, as well as bans after one of their contacts got hacked.
I understand that WhatsApp isn't very lucrative for Meta, but it has billions of users and is the primary messaging app in my country and many others.
I know this story is an anecdote etc. etc, but this, along with the insane amount of people in the comments on WhatsApp's Twitter and Instagram pages (and this subreddit), makes me think that this is probably a widespread problem. I just don't understand why there's basically no customer support for these types of issues, and NO explanation/reason given for bans.

Forgive me for any blunders, I don't often create posts on Reddit. I thought I'd share my tale with you guys, and maybe ask a few questions.
I founded my company in 2009 - a small IT Managed Services Provider. We bootstrapped the company (meaning we never took funding / did a funding round) and continue to do so today. There have definitely been times when I wish I had a large line of credit from an investor to draw on, but it's also nice having full control over the company, sans outside influences.
Just before COVID hit we had started to change away from the generic "IT Services" and really concentrate on Cybersecurity - specifically automating the more expensive parts of cyber defense to make it more accessible / affordable to all companies. We've had some really great success in achieving that - for instance, we're able to provide pentration testing (ethical hacking assessments) monthly for $6k per year, versus the industry standard of 20k-50k for a single test every YEAR.
Until COVID hit, we had never done any outbound marketing. I have a co-founder who serves as our CEO/CFO (admin and dollar signs, both things I hate.) At the times when I wanted to spend money on outbound services, it wasn't in the budget or other things were a higher priority.
Now, here I am on the flip side of COVID, with 3 employees left, including myself. I went into COVID with 11 full time employees, not including myself. Several of our large accounts went out of business and we lost a cumulative $400k in annual recurring revenue which is what I'm not sure I'll ever be able to truly recover from.
The last 5-6 months have been spent drinking from a fire hose for outbound marketing. I took out a small personal loan to invest in this area and have had little success. My biggest success has come from Dripify in automating my own LinkedIn Messaging vs paying a vendor to do it. But I'm not getting the sales as quickly as I need to be comfortable and keep the company afloat. I'm happy to answer any questions, etc. and I appreciate any and all insights folks may have.
So I guess I have a few questions:

• What have you done in terms of affordable outbound marketing that actually produced actionable leads?
• Is there a time when a small business owner needs to "give up the passion" and just move on and work for someone else? I started working on my resume again today, something I thought I'd never do again the rest of my life.
• There are a few "side hustles" that I could start being a 20-year veteran of cybersecurity. Things like a vCISO / Board Consultant, etc. I fear those will be a conflict of interest with my primary company though, and also the time commitment of getting those started.

I definitely have some lessons learned:

• Make sure business development is part of your company from the very first day
• Spend the money on marketing / sales generation. Whatever works, do it. Do it early, do it often
• Be confident and comfortable in who you are and what your expertise is. Be loud. Make a splash. And stand behind your statements and strategies.

It's a weird time, facing the very real possibility of losing my company. Learn from my mistakes, maybe drop some insight if you have it and don't get scared off from starting your own company.

When I googled this it says plants need a receipt on one result but it also says you can use your credit card to find your order details in another result?

Hi, I started playing in 2021 and stopped in 2023. I had quite a collection (username is DARTHSAIB if someone wants to check) but now it's just sitting there unutilized (with 3 million credits as well). Is there any way I could legally sell either the account or the cards (and spend the credits on something) or is it against the terms and conditions?
